Building the chicken coop

So we decided to build a chicken coop.  Well, the story is much longer than that.  After having 100.000 bees in the backyard, I thought maybe we can have chickens.  Well, it took over 3 weeks to convince my dearest husband that they would not be too much trouble.  So Diane hatched a bunch of chicks and we got her rabbit hutch, and kept 2 chicken.  Well, the first 3 days were fine, then ZOE the wonderdog got a hold of Betsy Ross, and she became fertilizer.  I was very upset.

So, the second chick came, and her name is Matilda, Mattie for short.  She is also a Rhode Island Red, but did not have the eagle looking white head.
