Resting Friday

Could not get up this morning, meaning I thought 5 am I should be able to get up, but not til 6 30.  Still dizzy.

Do I take clonipin or not.  Trying not to and praying for relief.  I went to Yoga and was so dizzy that afterward I took about .3 meds and feel better.

Kurt and I made lemon muffins for tonights bible study.  They turned out pretty good.

KR went surfing early, and Kurt says no work today.

Corrina came by and they went swimming at Chucks.  I sent all the paperwork to Mt Sinai, who said that they are scheduling July and August.  I was hoping to go end of June.

KR took a nap and I got the den ready.

Mike came first, then the Ackerman, who had a nice time in Peru, and then Tony and Joann.  Cindy and Tony did not come, neither did Donna, whose mother was in urgent care again.

I went to bed right after.

Hard working Thursday

My first patient was Anthony, crown prep #8.  Oh my.  Dr Le had finished the redo on the previous RCT.

Then it was Tiarra Joseph, crown prep #31 and possible RCT #6.  Didnt need RCT so did a filling.  Hope it does not blow up.

Got through by 12 30.  Also saw Anita Berkheimer with daughter Desiree, and Peter Gooch came with Carole.

Rode my bike to Redbeam for some benzoin essential oil.  KR helped John move furniture.  Kurt had a meeting at school.

Lovely text me that Kurt got accepted into the intensive Chinese program at Soochow.  He should be going from August 7, with Lovely to May 15.  Let see what he does with his life.

I am really dizzy so I took a little pill this morning at work, but nothing after.

Might have to apply to the program at NYC.

KR made great stew, I ate too much at 1 30 pm.  No dinner for me, except a little papaya.

Tried Optokinetic video on youtube.  No help.

Went to bed by 9

More Acupuncture Wednesday

I changed the sheets and waited for Jessica and Wayne to get moving and start cleaning up.  They finally opened up and I gave them new sheets to put on the bed.  They used both medium UHaul boxes I had gotten for them.  They came with two suitcases and left with two suitcases plus two boxes.  They shopped til they dropped.

Kurt had school til about 12 30

KR went surfing and it was ok.  After a quick lunch, we went over to Chuck's and he and Gracie went for a swim.  I was too dizzy.

My appt with Grace Lee was at 2.  The needle in my left hand hurt and I could not fall asleep.  Felt like it was in there too long.

I have another appt next Monday.  I don't think acupuncture is working for my dizziness.  Will have to try it for my hip/leg.

The weather was only 70 today but felt warmer.  KR has to move more furniture for the Valezquez tomorrow.  I was in bed by 8 and it was not even dark yet.  Work day tomorrow.

Tuesday work

I got up early, and dispensed the water in the rain barrels and did the chicken food and general clean up.  Jessica and Wayne went out at about 1.  They are leaving tomorrow.  Kurt had an appt with Robert Babb at 12 30 and only has work from 4 - 6.  He went to grandma's to bring the Roomba back and to finish cleaning the house.

KR dropped the bee box off and the bees that were in the peach tree are now in the small nuke and he will bring it back tonight.

Doug came by early while I was in the yard working and dropped off four boxes.  We didn't know he was coming.

I am slightly less dizzy today

The hour nap really helped.

Had dinner at El Rocoto restaurant which is almost right next to 99Ranch.  Jessica and Wayne invited us.  The cerviche was really good and different.  Kurt worked from 3 - 6 and didn't come but ate some of my left over. 

I went to bed as soon as we got back.

Yoga Monday HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY

Happy Memorial Day

Even though it was Memorial Day, YMCA was open from 7 - 2 and Amy asked if she can move her class to 7 am, and there were about 15 of us.  I was pretty dizzy.

KR picked up Matthew and Adrian and we all went to the club house for the hot dog cook out.  They also watched one boat race.  Kurt went back to grandma's to clean and KR took Matthew and Adrian to swim at Chuck's.  They went to Europe.  I went to see Grace Lee for acupuncture.  She is right next to China Tea House.  I actually fell asleep on the table.  I will go again on Wednesday.

KR took a nap, and Kurt worked on his SooChow University application.

I went to bed early, by 8 30.  Gotta work tomorrow.

Church Sunday

Since I didn't go to church last night, I went to church, as KR said it was baptism weekend.  I was so dizzy and feeling bad.  The service was great and they had a portable baptism pool set up right in the front.  There were four people baptized and I left right after church.  Got gas for KR before church.  He was home weed wacking the yard.

I went down for a nap, and then it started raining !!!!!!  It poured hard for a couple of minutes, and rained a bit more. 

Kurt went for a hike with the hiking club, up to his old school, Mirman and the Nike missile site just past school.  Then they watched a movie.  I went over to mom's and cleaned some more.  Looks like Kurt was not done with it even though he was there for over an hour yesterday.  Sigh.  That boy needs to work harder.

KR also made broccoli soup, lots and lots of it.  He seems to cook a lot and with a lot of pepper when he drinks a bit.  He later told me that his BAC was .1.  I just went to bed.  As least he is not going anywhere and I was so tired.

Saturday

I went over there to run the washing machine, the new one we got to make sure it is working.  Did all the towels and cleaned up mostly, and straightened.  Eddie and family did a pretty good job.

KR went surfing.

Kurt didn't get up until 10 10.  They went to the farmers' market and I cleaned the chicken coop.

Went for a run, so slow, 13 minute mile for 2.5 miles.  I successfully transferred all the files from hard drive to this new mac, but there are some issues with the photos still.

AND THERE IS OVER 200 GB LEFT !!!!

Dropped KR off at church and went to Walnut to meet David Koo and the Habibi gang.  It was nice see Dr Koo and family and Willy and his wife.  The house was beautiful, but I left at 8 when they were showing the video, I was really tired and dizzy.

Friday before Memorial Day

I didn't go to yoga, not the 8 am nor the 9 30.  Just didn't feel like it.  I also didn't get up until almost 7 am which is unusual.  I was tired.  KR tried to go surfing.  Or something.  Eddie and Nic and Em went to Pasadena to go to a guitar shop and then to Citadel for shopping.  I went to see a washing machine off of Mansel Ave, north torrance, and then when KR came home, he ate and we went to buy it for 120 dollars.

I did three loads of laundry.  Sandy stripped all the sheets and I washed them all, including our cushions, but one of them broke.  I will have to make covers for them.  I brought the sheets and towels back to Sandy.  She did not go with her family.  Too tired.  And they are flying out tonight.  I am sad.

They came back from the guitar store and outlet and started packing and cleaning.  KR and Kurt went over for dinner, as they had all the food, we had no room, and then it was time to go to the airport.  WAZE told us to go Century Blvd, and man the traffic was bad.  Took 40 minutes.  I dropped them off and got to Fry's by 9 04 and stuck in to buy a USB TypeC Multiadaptor.  So that I can transfer the harddrive stuff to my new mac as THIS MAC HAS NO USB PORT !!!!!!!!!  What is up with that????

Then I went to bed.  So so tired.

Working Thursday

I had to drop my car off to tinting, so KR followed me in the van and after I dropped the car off he drove me to work.  Then he dropped the van off at Honda.  They ordered a new horn assembly, supposedly, as the horn is going off again after the ignition assembly was done at the tune of 460 dollars.

Work was not too busy, and I was finished by 11.  Nic and Ed and Sandy came by for their dental work.  Man oh man.  Nic needed 8 fillings/sealants/PRR's done and I did them all, plus cleaned their teeth.  I was so exhausted.  They drove me to 182nd tinting and I got my car.  Looks great.

Kurt said his car died.  YOU gotta be kidding me.  The battery was dead.  He said that when he had the oil changed the guy said the battery was going bad.  Why didn't he have it done then?  He had to cancel work, and went to Sam's for a new battery.  It took at least 10 minutes for KR's car to be able to charge his battery enough to get it started.

Ed came to do laundry, and picked up the car.

KR and I went for a walk on the fireroad.  I didn't want to go but his BAC was .08, from drinking so much wine that he could not drive, then he got mad at me for not getting the dog off the road when it was him that should have been watching the dog when a car was coming.  I am tired of his drinking.

We went to eat at Lucille's so much food so little appetite.  Guess we will be eating most of it tomorrow.

Gun Guns and more Guns

I go to yoga at 6 am.  KR and Nic and Ed goes to Artesia to shoot guns.  I download mom's forms for the free senior activity this summer and start filling it out.  I go and take Em to first Goodwill.  She wanted to buy a few stuff.  This lady runs into me with her cart.  My left knee is slightly bruised.

Then we go and get boba, and stopped at the JJ Bakery next door but Sandy wanted El Burrito Junior.  We go and get food and go back home.  I am pretty dizzy.  They eat at home and I come home for a rest

Jesse was suppose to come over for dinner but it started raining in the middle of the afternoon, so he said some other time.  We ended up going to Coco's on 182nd.  Kurt didn't go.  It was good but I didn't eat because I was nauseous and not hungry.

Came home and went to bed

I think the computer is finally done.

Tuesday Gaetano Family Dinner

I did a load of laundry, and it was cold and windy.  I also washed my car with the washer water, and then rinsed.  Ed borrowed the car and I like it real clean.  He returned it really clean. He is pretty neat about that.

Then KR came home and we walked Gracie to the park, where there were several squirrels.  I went to work while KR chopped wood.  Only one patient, Colleen Ireland.  She has a tooth that is infected and needs to see David Kelliny, #14.

I came home and continued with cleaning up the computer, deleting files. 

I also set up the glass table that I found in the alley, and posted the old patio furniture on BNT but so far no one wants the table and chairs.   I will ask the gardeners if any of them want it.  Hate to throw it out.

Kurt worked 2 - 6 pm.

Eddie picked us up for the dinner.  We had TWO 4 people family style dinners.  Two starters, one salad one soup, two pastas, and two main.  Of course only ONE dessert.  It was so good.  We ate a lot.  For me, especially, even though I was really dizzy, I still ate.  We came home and I went to bed.  KR didn't go to bed til about 10 30.  Said he watched a movie.

No yoga Monday

Amy overslept and when I got there, Susan said no yoga, so I came home and tried to finish the upload.

Somehow the photo uploaded ALL TO MY PHONE TOO !!!!!  Oh man.  Technology is so weird and hard sometime.

AND I think I should have gotten the 15 " mac, oh well.

KR has his ear appt today.  Sandy and gang are going down to Carlsbad area with my car today.  I cleaned and got rid of the red curio cabinet that Rocky gave us.  I was listening to the tape on how to get rid of stuff.  It was called

THE GENTLE ART OF SWEDISH DEATH CLEANING

So when you are gone you don't want others to go through your stuff and just give it away willynilly.  So you do it yourself.  Like put stickers on the bottom as to who gets what.

KR had left over for dinner and we all went to bed early.  As usual.

Kurt came home and was pretty depressed about his schooling and his lack of progress in making himself work better.  I told him to try bed at 10 up at 6 run every day and see if it makes a difference.  He made an appt with Robert Babb to talk about his "problems".  I just think he needs to go to Taiwan and see how the other folks live.

Jessica and Wayne went to Disneyland and didn't get home until late, I am sure as we have no idea when they came in.

Sunday

It was still raining so Kurt went to the main church.  The rain finally quit about 10 am.  KR tried to go surfing but was no good.  He finished trimming the tree and Kurt helped.

The lady finally came over and picked up the raccoon, and fed it raccoon milk and the thing is ever active, as a little guy.  Ed came over for some laundry.

I got the ribs ready and we had dinner all 9 of us.  Ed's family, us and Jessica and Wayne.  It was ribs, salad, rice and pies.  Rhubarb and French apple.  Em has never tried rhubarb before and she liked it. 

It was yummy, and they all looked at KR's guns and I tried, and spent about 4 hours trying to get Photos and iPhotos to merge.  Drag and drop and delete.  So much work.

I didn't go to bed until 9 30.  But slept like a baby. 

5K RUN !!!

I got up early and got some BenGay on for the run.  Eddie came and picked me up so I can go back and pick up Sandy and Nic.  He ran over there to meet us.

The Stars Spangled Banner was already sang, and while we were waiting, the gun went off so off we went.  There was minimal announcement.  I did it under 29 minutes, and Nic under 28 and Mike Gooch about 25 and Ed about 24.  It was hard and I could hardly breathe after.

I said I am going to the jacuzzi and Nic suggested Epsom Salt, and I had a new bag, so I picked that up and we all sat in the jacuzzi for about 20 minutes.  I walked home.

KR finished trimming the pine tree, and cut his leg with the saw.  That is what would happen if you drink three Coors beer.

I was pretty dizzy all afternoon.  We went to Honda and tried to talk to manager about getting the cost of the ignition switch down from $750.  Yesterday Eddie and Nic got stuck at the mall, and the key was having some issues not wanting to turn over the ignition.  Mike at Independent Honda said he can do it about 700, but still not cheap.

We had church and I didn't feel too well.  So I came home and didn't eat and went to bed.  KR had tacos.

Friday

I don't have a patient at Will's.  That is good.  Still very dizzy.

I got a squirrel, it was eating the bird seeds.

I went to the mall to see the display for armed forces day, and to try the VR to see if it would fix me, but this year the army did not bring the VR truck.  I ran home  Took me 13 minutes to run almost a mile.  Sigh.  So slow.

The Shaw's are trying to get the animal rescue group to come and get the baby raccoon.  It is so cute.

Jessica and Wayne came at about 8.  I went to bed soon after that.

CDA Thursday

I didn't go to CDA.

It rained last night and this morning.

KR had a meeting with El Faro or something, then tried to go surfing.  It was victory at sea.  Very windy.  The rain stopped about 10 30.  I tried to upload all the photos to the mac from iCloud.  I wanted to back everything up properly before I upload to new computer.  Still having issues.  Even with Nic's help.  How do normal people figure out what to do?

We had MMA at Journey, so I took a nap with KR after lunch.  The work was exhausting.  I was so tired, but with Catherine's help, and her daughter too, we finished at 8.  Jesse also came down, he lost a crown yesterday and I glued it back with Ketac Cem and he went over to see Eddie and gang and they went out to Maui chicken.

I went to bed as soon as we came home.  Oh, KR had to pick up bees at the rental house.  The swarm trap got bees again.  He will take them away tomorrow.

Yoga Wednesday

Tried to get Ed to go to yoga at 6 am, but he said no too early.

After yoga, I did two loads of laundry and to get the room ready for Wayne.  Then I found that Gracie had butt juice on the bed so I had to do the sheets, not just the comforter.  Went to see about a new washer at the Sears outlet, but the cheapest one was over 600 bucks. So I did not buy one.

Ed took Sandy to a lab and they had lunch at Costco.  KR went surfing and then helped me make up the guest bed, for Wayne who will be staying at the upstairs bedroom.

I went for a job and found two yoga mats, this guy was throwing out.  Then went for a bike ride.  Knee has been hurting a bit lately.  And there is my run this Saturday.

KR took a nap, he surfed for three hours.  Then we went and picked up these chairs from Ashley George, next door to her the shop was going to throw out these chairs.  They are red and I will update mom's patio furniture.

Then Ed and Nic came by to look at KR's gun and to help me with the computer.  Seems like iPhoto and Photo merged years ago, but I did not update to High Sierra and there was so much issues it took hours to update.

We went to La Zeez Pita for dinner and the shawarma was really good.

I was tired.

The Shaw's come in

So today is the day.  I woke up early and went over to mom's and got the place ready.  Ran a little, maybe about 1/2 hour and went to work.  Saw Rita McKenna and Rita Woodbury.  Seeing the other Rita next week.  When we were done, I drove to Honey Korean Chicken on Vista Montana and it was really good.  Ed came in on time and I drove to the airport.

They were out in 1/2 hour !!!  So they were at curb side waiting for me.  Sandy looks tired, she has a really nice small motorized scooter that folds, and we drove home.  We saw Kurt and KR by the apartments and they came over.  We chitchatted a bit and they rested a bit and we decided to go to El Polly Inka for dinner.

It was good food but I was really really dizzy. 

Ed bought me a Garmin watch.  What a big watch, and very nice. 

After dinner the hard drive finally finished uploading and I went to bed.

Yoga Monday

KR comes in and said your phone alarm is beeping.  I didn't even hear it and he is downstairs.  I made it to yoga, sans Adele.  Then transplanted a bunch of milkweed to the serenity garden.  Need to get the condo ready today as they are coming tomorrow, the whole Shaw gang and there is still much to do.  My computer will arrive on Thursday, almost two thousand bucks.  But hey, we made the money and might as well spent it, not giving to the kids.

Also made donation to Action and KHC.

Kurt went to school and I went to mom's to clean and then to Costco to buy a new backup.  Now it is only 5T and 120 bucks.  I got 65 back for the 2T.  I am going to try to figure out how to get the other hard drive stuff onto this one.  It is taking 21 hours to back up.  Then my new computer will come on Wednesday, and I will dump everything on the new one. I think.

After lunch, broccoli soup, KR took a nap and then he helped me at moms.  We finished just about planting milkweed, and I did the mopping and cleaning.  Brought the Roomba over there and it really helped.  Eddie is coming tomorrow.

Walked the dog, barely.  She is still sore from yesterday Del Cerro Park, so we just barely walked to Dolphin Park.

Kurt came home and threw a fit.  Said that he didn't want the color pencils.  He had asked for them last night to do the Mother's Day card, and I found some at grandma's today and brought them over and left them on his desk.  KR had put the card on top of the pencils so he thought I wanted him to finish the card as soon as he came home.  He threw the pencils against the wall.  There is something wrong with that boy.  He said some nasty stuff.  If he didn't like it here, he should move out.  We keep telling him that but he is not willing to face his reality that he is just not that willing to put forth the effort to get some where. 

I think he is seeing all his Chadwick classmates, graduate from colleges, and he should be there but he is not.  He knows it is not anyone else's fault but looking at your own deficiencies must be difficult.  BUT he cannot lash out at me, saying it is my fault.

Happy Mother's Day

Sent a text to Ian.

Got up early and did laundry, washed KR's car and then the Mother's Day Hike.

Went up to De Cerro Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.

Kurt made me a card.
Will sent me a text, hoping dad is spoiling me?  He could not send a card?  Dad is not my child, and it is Will's thing to spoil me?  Tyler sent a few texts.

What a lovely hike, with the El Camino hiking club.  I ran a little bit.

Came home and got really queasy.  Laid down a bit.

KR cooked this amazing cauliflower bake.

Dinner at Adele's was fab.  Tri tip smoked by Max and then S'Mores.  I didn't have any except a little piece of chocolate.

I think Adele is such a wonderful lady, and I will miss her at Yoga tomorrow.

Tried to get my hard drive to work, but it is having issues, so tomorrow to Costco for a new one.

I didn't go to bed until 10 pm, first time in double digit for three months.  Still cannot get the hard drive to work.  So I guess it is another one ????  Costco tomorrow.

Church Saturday

KR went to Klub and I went to mom's to clean, and ended up doing laundry.  Found a jelly bean in bed, so I guess Will did not do all the laundry as he is suppose to.  Also found a glass table in the alley, might change the black one out on the back porch.

After Klub, they also went to Wilson Prk.  Kurt and I went to the Farmers Market and got like a ton of cauliflower and carrots.  I spread them around.  Rode to Jon's house and gave him both.  Gave some to Patty and to Stella.  Still have a lot left.

Went to church and took Mother's Day pictures.

Not hungry.  Queasy.  Went to bed by 9

Working Friday

I made it to yoga at 8, sans Adele.  Sigh.  But it was pretty good not much rocking.  Then the rocking started.  Got to work on time seeing Claudia Vargas, and then Mable Duncan.  She is having much trouble with the RCT that Dr Kelliny did, #21, so I called Dr Omoto who said to come right away, and Nikki drove her down there.  I did not finish the cleaning.

Tom called me and said #21 has to go and I asked him to place an implant in there, and to do ridge augmentation.  Try to convince Mrs Duncan to get that done.

Came home, ate a rib and started cleaning he linen closet, and getting the sheets ready for Wayne and Jessica.  KR went to help John with moving Armando's stuff from one storage unit to Bill's storage, and to take all the stuff out of our garage.

Instead of finishing cleaning Mom's house, Kurt spent an hour chopping wood.

Cindy brought over chicken enchilada.  What a love she is.

Doug came over and brought crawfish, and gumbo, and said he was going to visit MaryLou and stay at her house tonight and come over to get the bees tomorrow.

Talked to Lovely about Kurt and Soochow University.  I hope he goes there in August.  He can't continue to stay here and be a bum.  He seems a little more excited about his prospect of learning Chinese well.

Told him he can apply for a job with State department of FBI or something if he has his degree and speaks Chinese fluently.

Went to bed at 9

NO work again, Thursday

I had to take the Odyssey back to Honda for a check.  They did the recall air bag on the steering wheel and right after that the horn goes off at different times, sometimes when I turn, sometimes when I hit a dip in the road.  So Geoffrey found out that the wire to the horn was a little too close to the new airbag module?  I walked around Wilson Park while they fixed it.

KR tried to go surfing, no go.  Came back and walked the dog.  I put the roast in the crock pot.  Kurt wor

WEDNESDAY

I made it to Yoga on time.  No Adele, sigh.  I was so dizzy when I woke up, but I went anyway.

Came home and did two loads of laundry, while KR had his Valesquez family meeting with Dan.  Said the 1 1/2 hour meeting could have been done in half hour.

KR made delicious cream of broccoli soup.   Really good, except a bit too much pepper for me.  I like it spicy but not peppery, weird.

Went to the office, as they wanted me to do a bunch of paperwork.  I actually got paid for the time I was there.  Stopped at El Super for some meat and ended up spending about 150 bucks !!!!  I didn't buy any guava pastry, think that it the very first time I have not bought any.  Kurt took the car to smog check, and he was really rude, didn't want to be bothered.  At least he apologized after he came back.

He also went up to the Krieger old house to corral the hen back to the coop.  She went in.

I boiled ribs and then baked them a bit with some bacon too.  Walked at the beach with KR.  He had two beers and was a bit 'off'.  But hey, life goes on.

I had some cottage cheese for dinner and went to bed by 8 30.

DiNesha Tuesday

I woke up last night about 11 30 and could not sleep for over two hours.  So I just listened to the book on tape.  It rained again last night, very little and I am working at 10.

I see DiNisha, and her son Xylus, so interesting.  Shiela Moore is DiNisha's grandmother and now I am seeing the great grandson.  Will gave me a check for about $250 said he would make up the 5% difference.  Cat was there, and she seems in better spirit.  She has a little pouch, five months pregnant.

I got home and Diane came for a visit.  She was walking Percy with a friend at Wilson Park.  I fed her some guac, and gave her kumquats and loquats, and when she left, I went riding to Jon Liu's and gave him a bag of broccoli.  Oh, right, KR got at least 10 heads of really nice broccoli from the farmer's market and we had to do something with it.  Adele got some, Patty Lopez got some and so did Danielle.  We still have a bunch left.

I feel so queasy today, didn't take anything.  Except Zofran.  Don't know if it works or not.  I think it helps a little with the nausea, and queasiness.

Kurt and KR went up to Diane's old house to take care of the chickens and Gracie went swimming.  I went to bed by 8 30.

Yoga Monday

I kept waking up and it was not time for yoga, but after the 4 30 eye opening, it was 5 50.  So weird, I close my eyes for a second and over an hour went by.  No Adele this morning.  She went back to work.  I am sad.  But I was not dizzy for well over an hour.

I wonder if yoga makes me dizzier, I do 't think so.

Rained last night.  Not much and was suppose to rain today.  KR went to Chris' prayer group.  Then we went for a walk up the fire trail and KR sprayed the wasp nest with the foam thing I bought for wasps.  Hopefully they would be killed, but we are going to try spray again next time to make sure.

Then it was date lunch.  We got a gift card from The Gooches when KR took the beehive out of their back yard shed so we went to PF Chang's for lunch.  The waitress was not very good.  We had sushi and beef bowl and chicken bowl.  Then KR took a nap while I rode to Danaha street for some Minion stuff. 

Mary called and I picked up her medication from Pacifica Pharmacy and went over to her house and helped her with laundry.  Came home and KR was doing yard work at the Serenity Garden.  He finished it.  Kurt and I planted some sunflowers, actrually transplanted them from our backyard to there and I had two cottage cheese for dinner and he ate salad.

Went to bed by 8 30.

CHURCH ON THE BEACH

I thought I would feel pretty good today?  Nope, started spinning right away, so I took 1/4 and went to church, with KR and Kurt, but still felt pretty bad.  Then KR picked up Matthew and they all went back to the beach.  I got the Roomba to work better and vacuumed a bunch of stuff up.

They came back around 2 15 and Kurt did some weeding.  I rode my bike to pay the New Horizon HOA fee, and around the alleys, nothing to pick up. 

Kurt did some lawn aeration in the back yard, and cleaned up the wood so the back yard would look nice.

Went to my class and still pretty dizzy.

KR cooked pork loin for dinner.

Going to bed early.

Suppose to be Sharefest

We got an email yesterday that they don't need so many people for Sharefest at ICAN location, which was the old mattress store, on Sepulveda, next to the old Bikecology store, as the permit was not issued by city of Torrance for demolition.  Oh man.

KR has a surf contest with the Redondo Police so he went down to the beach early.  I spent three hours cleaning the back yard.  Sweeping the side where the BBQ is kept and neaten up the hay and watered the yard.

Kurt went to the USS Iowa with Corrina.  KR said he told him that he got rejected from Cal State Long Beach.  We will wait to see what we are going to do with him.  He supposedly spent 3 - 4 hours cleaning grandma's place yesterday.  I will go see today, hopefully. 

So after Corrina left we spoke with Kurt.  He is not even sure he finished applying to SLO.  We said he needs to

1.  Get a full time job, and think about what he wants to do, for a year.

2  Join the military, it is only a four year stint.

3  Go to Taiwan and find a job, trying to figure out what will make him happy.

4  Take the El Co class for the psychology class he didn't get into, this summer, and work way more hours.   He said it is because of our vacation, he had too much to do everyday to take care of the animals.  Of course it is just an excuse. 

I text Lovely and we will discuss it next week when he finds out his status with SLO. 

I tried going for a run, and had such a bad tummy ache, I barely walked home.  KR was watering so he didn't hear my calls and I didn't know Kurt was home.  After I rested a bit, I tried again and successfully ran about 30 minutes.  KR cooked delicious hamburgers.  I went to bed early

Easy Friday

KR had breakkie with the 'boys' and even Jon Remy showed up.  I did three loads of laundry.  Getting the room ready downstairs for Jessica and Wayne.  The sheets have not been changed for months, and who knows what Kurt has been doing when we are out of town.  It was a lot of work, getting the hose to the yard after the soap rinse, and I was tired when all was done. 

We also gave away one of the dog crates.  Lunch was a burger, and light dinner.  We had group at Mike Gooch's  Patty and Mike left on their Peru trip.  How exciting is that?  They are doing all the stuff we wanna do with retirement.  Must plan a Machu Picchu trip.

This is who showed up:  Cindy, Tony, Joanne, Tony, and us.  No Donna.  I was really dizzy and tired.  Took 1/4 tab and still not feeling well.  As soon as I got home, instead of going to bed, I set up the iRobot Roomba.  This thing is amazing.  Will clean the floors by itself!!!!!!

Working Thursday

I actually got there early and the day was fairly easy.  All went well and I got home by 1 30, had a little lunch.  KR weeded most of the serenity garden, and Kurt refused but chopped wood and got stung by a bee.  What do you expect when you are swinging an axe by their homes.

Sorted some of the stuff we got out of Kevin's dumpster and there were so many leashes and harness, I posted and all got picked up.  I kept two of the Christmas ones for Gracie but KR says no no and no.  She looks so cute in one.

The mulberries are also coming in, and KR picked a bowl and they are delicious.  The trees are growing a lot, so he would have to prune severely when the fruit is done. 

I cooked a steak for dinner.

Office meeting Wednesday

Got up for Yoga, but Adele didn't come, said too tired.

Felt NO symptoms and thinking it would be gone, but not quiet.  At the office meeting the dizziness came back.  I went to the tinting place and made an appt to get my rear windows tinted.  May 23, Thursday, when I have time.  Steve is the owners name.  Japanese guy i think.  Seems like a very nice business.

Went to Ralphs but no cheap orange juice.  Bought a few things.  Ate lunch and tried to clean up the stuff from Kevin's dumpster.  Must take all to mom's garage.  Kurt came home from school.  I made bacon this morning.  So everyone had BLT sandwiches. 

Doug came by and picked up the bee hives and got stung a bunch of times.  He drove down to San Diego just to see some pears???  I thought he had a reunion to go to.  So we only have two active bee hives in the back yard.  The rest of the boxes are just empty. 

I bought an iRobot Roomba for the house.  Tired of trying to pick up dust and kitty litter and fur and dust bunnies.  I am going to buy a new lap top too.  But Jeff Kaplan says they are over 3000 bucks !!!!!

I went to bed by 8 30  Work tomorrow
