Saturday

Something was not right.  I usually get a few hours of no dizziness but this morning started off bad.  I took .25 didn't seem to do anything.  Cleaned the garage some.  Got Kurt's car here and cleaned inside and check fluids.  KR went surfing.

NO WORK FRIDAY

This morning, KR said there were two dead bodies at the beach right next to the bathrooms down Dolphin Park. TWO GUYS on the beach dead.  So Sad.

He went surfing and I went through the stuff from Yvonne, called Jerry will be giving him stuff and MMA and Jeff Yamane, so much stuff.

He pruned the sapote tree and we didn't go to church for the Constable talk.  Very dizzy today

WORKING Thursday

So the 7 am patients didn't show up so we had a pretty slow day.  The chi chi girl, Abby didn't show up either.  I got off a little after 1, as the Yap girls needed some stuff explained.  They didn't go back to Magicland to have the SSC removed and #14 is just not coming down.  AND they don't brush much.

As soon as I got home, Yvonne called.  She has so much stuff for me, so I went back and got gloves, composites, these funny 6 in cotton rolls, etc.  I stopped at 99 Ranch and bought fermented rice, etc and got home about 3 30 and KR was still asleep. TWO large beers, 40 oz later, he was still at .06 on BAC when we were going for a walk about 5, so I drove.

We stopped at Sams and I ran around the parking lot of Costco and Sams and KR shopped.  He had California roll for dinner and we went to bed early.  DIZZY !!

Relaxing Wednesday

Yeah, right.

I could bot get up for yoga, at 6.  Woke up couple of times last night to look for rats, but did not see ANY, not a single one !!!

We drove around all over PV to check the diving.  Not a spot was clear 'enough' for KR to make the effort.  We came home and decided to do house work.  There are ants to clean, grape vines to string up, yard to weed whack, kitchen to clean, counters to be wiped, and floors to be vacuumed.

KR went to Home Depot for supplies.  He always buy too much.  Oh well.

Claudia Vargas Tuesday

Got up early to wash the sheets.  KR went to Oswald.  I went to the office to see Claudia at 9.  She has something on her tongue but she gags easy so she would not let me feel.  She also has a 7 mm pocket on 18.  I am referring her to Scot Rees, the periodontist.

Came home and KR had gotten home, trying to go diving but the water was really bad.  He did some weeding, yard work, and cut off the air layering mulberry tree for Micohn.  We went to the farmers market and got a bunch of old corn, lettuce, etc.  The rattus rattus came last night and set off two traps but I did not get any rats.  Will try something different tonight.

We walked Gracie at the Farmer's Market.  It was too too hot for her.

KR napped while I ran about 2 miles and got a massage from Nazareth. 

Then we walked Gracie at the beach.  EXCEPT she didn't wanna go.  Just too tired???

No meds today.  Very dizzy.

Martha the mail lady walked by without giving us mail.  Wonder if she did not like Gracie.  She never had trouble with her before.

Monday August 26, 2019

I got up early for the yoga class and KR went to Chris' bible study.  We read a little bible last night too, I forgot to mention.

I tried to clean the house and packed up some books and went over and got the truck so we can move the book case over to mom's.  KR and I moved the taller book case over to Kurt's room, and then we decided to go for a bike ride.

We rode from Ave B to El Porto.  I forgot my Biofreeze and my knee and hip was really bothering me.  It was really warm today, at least in Torrance, but Redondo was cooler.  Alan said in RB it was 98, and Taipei was just 83, while we were 85.

After biking we took a nap, and then took Gracie down to the beach for a walk.  She was too hot.

KR went to Every Man at church, and I went to Target for rat traps.  Set them out for the mice/rats I saw last night.  They were bouncing all over the grass next to the chicken feed.

Took .25 this morning.  I was really dizzy and queasy.

Last Day of Vacation

Since Del Mar beach you can have dogs off leash until 8 am up to Labor Day, KR got up early and took Gracie down for a swim.  I went for a 3 mile run.  It ended up exactly 3 miles, up the hill to Crest, and down to Woodgrove Park, where it is a private park owned by the HOA and only people that lived there can go there with dogs off leash.  I just ran through it, it was so nice.

Gracie was so tired when she came back that she could not and did not eat breakfast.  We went down stairs and ate and decided no more swimming for Gracie and we might as well go home.

We drove through Carlsbad and Oceanside.  Some really nice part of the towns, not seedy like I thought, like tattoo parlors, bars, etc.

We got home by 1 and I did laundry, and washed my car.  KR had a lot of beer, I thought three or four.  Guess he didn't drink the last four days so he is catching up.

I then went to my class, and we had salad and stew left over for dinner.

No meds today.  Dizzy a bit, not too bad I tink.

Saturday Hotel del Coronado

It was a nice hot breakfast.  Turkey sausages, omelet, orange juice, yogurt, we didn't have any pancakes nor cinnamon rolls.  Wait maybe KR had one. 

Mimi had texted me a few days ago so I tried to meet up with her.  Alan happened to be down at Coronado playing tennis with Albert !!!  Is that weird or what.  So we drove from Encinitas to Fiesta Island, where we can have the dog off leash.  Then we met up at Brigantine's Seafood right across the street from the Hotel Del.  The food was fabulous and it was so nice to see Mimi and Alan.  We paid.  KR had a bunch of oysters, and I had the crab Louie, and Mimi had fish and chips, and Alan had fish tacos.

We then took a walk into the Hotel Del.  I have never been there, or at least not inside. 

We then said goodbye and drove Back to Fiesta Island where Gracie dove for more rocks !!!  She was so tired.  We had a ribs plate at the market just off of 101 and some salad and ate at the hotel.  I went for a 2.5 mile run.  Had not had any exercise to speak of for days.

All went to bed by 8 30.  Tyler tried to call again, for money !!!

Friday

Melissa drove Kaela to school, in Santa Ana, and we moosied down to Downtown Laguna and she brought Edgar and we had a nice walk on the beach.  After Labor Day you can have dog off leash, but not yet.  It was not too crowded yet.  We had to be off the beach by 9 am.

Came back to her house and ate some breakfast.  Left over hamburger, etc.  We started driving down towards San Diego.  We stopped all along the way to look around, mostly the coast route.  We went on the beach at Del Mar.  Then we tried to find a hotel.

We also had lunch at the Fish House in Encinitas.  I spent around an hour looking for a hotel, everything was so expensive and the Motel 6 review was terrible.  So KR said let's just drive around and see if we can find a hotel.

I didn't think we could.

Well, I had no faith.

Right across the 5 freeway, off of Birmingham Road we found a Holiday Inn Express that was undergoing some severe renovation, and the room was 100 dollars a night !!!  Dog included.  What a bargain, PLUS full breakfast !!!!!!

We stayed TWO nights.

For dinner, we went to Fidel's, this place that KR used to go when he was at UC San Diego, Mexican to go, and ate in the room.  Half a Tostada Supreme.  I was not too hungry, only had a bite and some cup a soup.  The room was really comfortable, two queen beds.

Gracie was so so so tired.

Starting the trip

No work today and we decided to start our trip.  KR went to his class, then there was no surf so he watered and we left the house by 11.  Stopped at Rosie's Beach and of course Gracie didn't wanna go. 

We drove to Melissa's and she was picking up Keala and we got into the garage and promptly fell asleep.  I had opened the back screen door not knowing the cat can get out, and Leroy got out.  She and Kaela freaked out when they got home and we finally found Leroy.  Miller didn't go out.  That cat is smart.

We had burgers and potato salad and watermelon for dinner, and we slept on the blow up mattress in the garage.  It was really comfortable.

Yoga Wednesday

I got up before the alarm went off.  Yoga was great.  My hip is sore.  But the day after Nazareth worked on it I hardly felt it.  KR went for a paddle.  I cleaned the bookshelves downstairs getting ready for them to be reconfigured.

Went to David Kelliny's office to borrow a mouth prop.  Drove out to Lakewood to see Elaine's dad Elias.  I was not too careful and he bit me pretty good, before I got the prop in.  The caregivers also have not been brushing his teeth, there was food everywhere.  And his toothbrush was dry, dry and dry.

I reapplied the SDF, and went to the 99 cent store on Del Amo in Lakewood before coming home.

Typing on the computer really get me dizzy.

We are going to go see Melissa tomorrow, with the dog of course.

Went back to return the mouth prop, and David said I should keep it.  I gave him a bunch of rubber dam frames and clamps.  Went to the bank to deposit my paycheck from Will Weston, then home.

Walked the dog at the beach around 5 30.  KR had Sam's chicken that we bought two days ago.  Will finish tomorrow before we depart.

He watched some UFC.  Nunes beat Homes.  We moved the piano music cabinet downstairs and changed Kurt's bookshelf (maybe tomorrow).  It was so hot and dusty.

Working Tuesday

KR had Oswald group and I started rearranging the bookshelves.  Can't decide to have same size ones or one short one tall downstairs.  Cleaned Kurt's shelves and did a bit of mopping.  Went to the office and saw Ms Duncan, and then Doreen Louzzi came in to see me about her bridge.

After work I drove down to the beach for a little run.  Ran about two miles at 13 min mile.  So so slow.  Came home and Brian M was here.  I cleaned more of Kurt's room  Heard from Lovely that his student canceled.  He needs to make money.

KR took a nap and went to his massage.  I went to have a foot massage when KR was at his massage.  We went and waked the dog before sunset. 

I went to bed without .25 and slept just fine

Monday massage

I went to Mary's after Yoga but she was already home.  I got her old compost bin, she didn't want it and listed online. 

Took the car in for oil change at PepBoy.  31 dollars later.  KR picked it up.

KR had Chris' bible study and I went to YOGA at 6 am, and did not feel too dizzy.  Still on the .25 am and pm.  Might try something different.  I did laundry, the comforter I found in the alley and the lovely green blanket.  I had a massage at 1 and forgot and didn't get there until 1 45 so only 45 minutes, but oh felt so good. 

KR picked a bunch of peppers and tomatoes from Reggie's.  They are gone on vacation.  We also got our first Scotchman's Cap pepper.  Man it should be HOT HOT HOT

Went to walk Gracie at the beach.  She did not want to walk.  No rattus rattus either.  Must use fresh peanut better.

Went to bed WITHOUT taking the .25.  Will see how it goes.,

Ciclavia

WHAT A DAY !!!!

Mike invited us to do another Ciclavia.  This time in Hollywood.  So we drove up with Kurt's truck and our bikes and met them at Western and Hollywood blvd.  It was so much fun riding down to Hollywood and WeHo and getting freebies and seeing the Chinese theatre.  We didn't get home until 2 15.  We had lunch at Baja Fresh, one of Carole's favorite.

We took a nap and I went to my class at the YMCA and KR walked Gracie at the beach.

We tried talking to Tyler.  He wants money.  We spoke to Mark who said Tyler told him the truck was fixed.  We don't know who to believe.We went to bed pretty early.  Tired from the ride.

Saturday

I did the laundry. KR went for a drink and a paddle.

We went to church

One patient Friday

I was Rocky L from church at the office at 10 am.  KR went down to the beach, turns out to have a bike ride.  Said he didn't know where I was, and didn't bother to call.  He is still mad.  I think he is behaving like a dry drunk, and withdraw from nicotine, although he says he is not.  I had a really nice discussion with Cindy yesterday, and Mary.  They are such lovely ladies.

We were suppose to meet at Mike Gooch's but only us and Mike and Carole, and now Cindy and Tony can make it, so I don't know if we are going.  KR went down to the beach to walk Garcie, and didn't want me to go with him.  Whatever.  I just need to keep praying about this.  I asked Chris for a name of a therapist in the 12 step program.  If he does not go I will go.

I tried cleaning Kurt's room this afternoon.  So much junk, so little time.

We had a nice meeting at Mikes just talking about things.  Cindy, Tony, Carole, Mike me and KR

Busy working Thursday

KR had his bible study with Chris, I went to work.

We had anew intern, Elizabeth.  Her first week so only watching and some cleaning.  It was not too busy.  We got out at 1.  The girls are trying keto diet.

KR went and had lunch with Jon, and took Gracie to Long Beach.  I rode the bike around and had a lovely massage with Nazareth.  The .25 mg seems to help, am and pm and I will continue that for a bit.

KR went to Costco.  I tried to get a camp site on line for our possible trip next week.  No go on San Clemente, Newport, San Diego, Jalama, etc.  Oh well.  We shall see.  The way KR is behaving maybe we just won't go.

AHHH No Yoga

I overslept.  The clock first said 5 am and then it was 6 15.  I set the alarm but I must have turned the volume down or off so I didn't hear it.  KR went to walk the dog.  Lovely said the kids, Abby, Isaiah and Kurt went to the movies.

'I cleaned Kurt's room some more.  KR went to walk the dog then swam at the beach, then lunch with Danny and Howard.  He also weed whacked before his beach swim.  After his nap, we went and walked Gracie at the beach.  Except she didn't wanna go, so we only went a little bit.

We had left over for dinner.  I bought fried chicken at Ralphs.  We didn't get any rats.  I was tired.  Going to try .25 mg am and pm around 8 to see if it helps. 

Mom's replacement phone came, but I could not get it started.   Will try tomorrow.  Made the bed in the downstairs room.

Seeing Will

KR went to his bible study at church and then walked Gracie.  I did laundry and went to mom's to pick up the electric piano Will wanted.  KR went to his 10 am DMV appt.  He called me while there and siad that the IRS coupon was not good enough for his SS # verification so he needed an old W2 or 1099.  I was out for a short (2.5) run and told him where the tax returns were and he came home , got it and went back to the DMV.  It still took him until 11 30 to get home.

We drove up Will's apartment and took him to the Original Tommy's for lunch.  We had burgers and fries and coke.  Then we went to the 99 cent Store by McArthur Park and bought him about 25 dollars worth of food and etc.  We saw his apartment on South Benton Way, nice place and went home.

We took a 45 minute nap.

Then a walk at the beach.

We had left over for dinner, welll, KR had fried rice and I had some salad.  Going to try yoga tomorrow.

YOGA !!!

I set an alarm, but actually got up for yoga before the alarm.  Strange weather, August and the sky is gray and cold.  We tried to get more rattus rattus last night but saw two and missed them as they were not behind the chicken coop yet.  So far so good about the dizziness.

I rode to Susan's to get the KoolAid jammers.  Also gave her a jar of the canned stewed tomatoes.

KR went to bible study with Chris' group and then to his massage with Nazareth.  Chris Ibarra called me.  The wallet I found.  He came by to pick it up and gave KR a 2 dollar bill.  I had a lunch date with Martin and Trent.  We went to Flying Finn, the Japanese place on Catalina.  It was great.

Funny thing.  When Chris arrived he said KR had just taken off.  Turns out he went to Ralph's to get a beer but turned around so he can hand Chris the wallet. Too much drinking on his part.  I must must pray more.

After lunch I cleaned more of Kurt's room and found all his contact lenses and more stuff.  We moved some furniture and brought his dresser down and gave away to Rhen.  We moved the two stackable dresser into his room, and I moved the desk.  Will clean the book shelf and rearrange later.

I went to bed early, but got up at 11 and was hungry.  Kurt and Abby went to the zoo and it was so so so hot.  They rode the Gondola !!!!  Such nice pics.  He also text that he is dreaming again.  Said weed suppress his dreams.  So funny.  We try to be encouraging without been dismissive.

More church Sunday

KR went surfing, or tried, and came home and walked Gracie to Hickory Park.  I ran almost three miles !!!!  Whaoooo

Then we went to church, he had to man the table for the dinner and the retreat.  I went again too.  He went directly to see Matthew and Adrien and Bubba.  They had lunch at Ted's that took EBT and I sat outside for an hour, catching some rays, then to my class.  I have to wear ear plugs to go to a class.  All too loud.  I am getting very sensitive to loud or thumping music.

After class, came home and saw KR for a few minutes.  He went to the meeting at church.  Not to the potluck. I went to neither, but stayed home and canned the tomatoes, both Chuck's and ours.  He had given us so much cherry tomatoes and they were fab.

KR came home and we read some more How to Parent Your Adult Children, and went to bed.  I got up about 1 and could not go back to sleep.  I ate some cottage cheese and finally slept.

Kurt sent me a msg in the middle of the night about his phone.  I will try to unlock the Samsung tomorrow.  The one that Will had in 2016.

Church Saturday

After KR walks Gracie at the beach, we loaded up the bikes and drove down to Ave G and parked and rode up to El Porto.  At Hermosa Pier, they were setting up for the Teen Choice Award, large stage, on the sand.  It was a beautiful day for a ride.

We came home and ate, and had a nap.  I was really tired all day.

Church was interesting.  Mike was speaking of Forgiveness, Reconciliation and Restoration.  Chris and Anne Cannon were there, and were presented to the church and that we have 'forgiven' them, etc.  I got there early and gage them a hug and then drove to get gas for Prius.

We were going to eat tacos but Antonio's truck wouldn't work so no dollar taco.

We went to Wahoo for 'blood' tacos.  Two free meals of about 6 dollars each.  Their green spicy sauce was great.  Very dizzy today, but I resisted meds.

Went to bed for a long long sleep.

Massage Friday

I started the laundry, and then to the massage.  I spent most of the hour praying.  What a nice massage.  Made an appt for KR for Monday, and me for Wednesday next week.  KR came home, from surfing, and we took a nap.  I was out very tired from being up last night.

KR took Gracie to the beach while I paid Dr Maher and the HOA bill and rode over to give Adele a hug.  She is finally back from Europe.

We killed another mouse tonight.  It was behind the chicken coop.  It makes the 11th one so far.

Working Thursday, and TYPHOON

I forgot to mention, three days ago there was an earthquake in Taiwan.  Near Yilan.  And now the typhoon.

I got a text that the flight is leaving at 9 AM.  I was at work by 6 45.  No Tracy today.  Was it ever busy.  But I did get done at 12 45.

Lovely and mom and Abby and Isaiah landed in Korea and got stuck !!!!!  The airline would NOT fly to Taipei, so she was so frantic trying to either get a flight out or go to hotel, as mom won't sleep even with sleeping pill.  OH BOY.

Alan finally suggested that Kurt either take the bus or taxi to James' place instead of trying to get to Lovely's. I got a hold of James and he said he will pay for taxi.

Kurt finally lands about 10 PM our time and I spoke with him.  He will take taxi and he found James on LINE.  Lovely had no lounge privilege as the card was in Alan's name.  They tried to sleep on the floor with mom, and found a pillow in the trash.  Mom only slept about 5 hours even with the sleeping pill temezapam.

I woke up about 1 when Kurt got to Lovely's and found the WiFi password paper.

What a day

Oh, we also got three mice behind the chicken coop.

What a Wednesday

This is the day that Kurt leaves.

I didn't make it to 6 am yoga.  Had office meeting from 9 - 11.  Dr Sata came back and it was really nice to see her.  Came home and Lovely was pretty much packed.  Kurt is just starting to pack. 

He got done and went to see Corrina.  KR boiled the ribs in the morning and i put it in the oven.  I had stopped at El Super for flan for dessert tonight.  Mary came by and helped me put the table together for dinner.  There were 10 of us.  The Alagatas, me KR and Kurt, mom, Corrina and Mary.  We had kalbi and beef ribs, salad, mashed potatoes and all kinds of drinks.

Then the Alagatas left for the airport.  They were suppose to leave at 11 and Kurt is departing at 12:50.  We left Kurt and the others go together and we came home.  The traffic was really bad.  So I heard there is a typhoon and the flight might or might not be delayed.

At 12 40 I woke up to pee and text Kurt.  He said the flight is delayed, and most likely will leave at 9 am.  He got some white bread sandwiches, ham and cheese, maybe, some chips and coke.  He slept in the food court until he boarded.  OH MAN OH MAN.

One patient Tuesday

THEY GOT THREE RATS LAST NIGHT

I saw Monika at work, and dropped Abby off with Gracie to walk at the beach before my 10 am patient.  By the time I was done, KR and Kurt were still surfing so I picked up Abby and Gracie and took them home.

Alan came over and took Abby and Isaiah and Luke, this 10 year old friend of their friends from Taiwan who was here for a conference.  Their friend John, Luke's dad, is from their church and here in Anaheim for a conference.  Alan drove all the way down there to pick him up as Luke had nothing to do all day.

First they went to Mulligan's and then to the movies.

Then they said they wanted to go to Classic.  But first to Walmart.  So we met Kurt at Sushimon for dinner, as they were not going to be eating until at least 6 30.

I came home and put the hoola hoop together and my contraption.  Seems to work well.  I got so hot and sweaty putting it together.  Zip tied to the beam in the garage.

No work Monday

KR has Chris bible study and I didn't make it to the yoga class.

I went to Walmart, then Target, then Tokyo Central, no large rat trap.  Only the small mice traps.

Then I went to 99 cent store, and bought two.  They were a dollar each for the large one.

We walked the dog at the beach

Kurt is lagging on packing.  I think he is freaking out

Very dizzy, took 1/4 pill.

Went to bed early.  KR set out the traps with peanut butter and bird seeds.

Church Sunday

KR and I walked Gracie early, still foggy.  Then we went to church. He had to man the Every Man dinner thing, and the Men's retreat booth.  I was so so dizzy.  Got to the point that I had to go outside and lay down in the car.  Alan and the kids and mom came and we all listened to Mike talk about reconciliation, and restitution with the Cannons, etc.  And we just saw Chris yesterday on the beach.  He said the statement he read five years ago was not what he wanted to say, but what the elders told him to say.

Man oh man.  And the elimination of the Saturday night thing, is supposedly mostly Mike D's desire, and we are so sad that it is going away at the end of this month.

After church, they all went to the beach and I went over to mom's.  We walked over to the other side, almost to the Club House.  She said she was too tired.  I let her sit, and I actually fell asleep.  They came back at 5 and I went home.

Went to the YMCA for a little weight workout as I missed my class.  They had a great time at the beach.  Corrina also went to the beach, then came over to eat dinner.  We made crawfish etouffee, with Abby and Isaiah shelling two bags of crawfish.  KR cooked sausage and onions and we made alfredo sauce and noodles.  Mom said she was still hungry.  HAHAHA

Corrina stayed a bit with Kurt.  Lovely came back about 8 and she had a great time with Suz and Pam.  I went to bed about 9.  Going to try yoga tomorrow morning at 6 !!!! 

I HOPE

Dodger Saturday

Well, not for me but....

KR went surfing this morning, and stopped at Mr BJ Liquor thinking I didn't know.  Sigh

Lovely was suppose to meet with Suz at 10 30 but it got changed to 12 30 and she didn't tell me, so I did not know what was going on.  I took mom to the afternoon program, 1 - 4.

Alan and Kurt and Abby and Isaiah went to the Dodger Game.  They left at about 2 30 !!!  Oh my.  Just so unlike us, we don't show up THAT early for any game.  The game does not start until 6 10 PM.  Kurt is going to be so so tired.

Next door is having a party, Amber turned 10.  The theme is Alice in Wonderland.  Danielle made such beautiful decorations.  I am still very dizzy today.

Picked up my fixed FlipFlop sandal.  This time it is the left one that broke again !!!

Went to church.  Had tacos, well, KR had three and I had none and mom had one.  Then we went to the party next door.  I had some gummy and KR had a beer and then I took mom back and put her to bed.

Kurt came home about 10 30  pretty tired.

Dizzy Friday

I got up and changed sheets while KR had brekkie date with Mark Paulson.  Then I had a massage appt with Nazareth at Beautiful Image South Bay.  She was great, but after I was done, I got really really dizzy.  And was dizzy all day.

Alan and Lovely and kids and mom went to Walmart.  Then Alan met Angel etc for poki, in Redondo Beach.  Then they went to the 99 cent store.  I stayed with mom while Lovely went for a run.  The tubs that we took over yesterday was slightly too big, so we need to get them some boxes.  There are none to be had in the alley.  You would think there would be with today being August 2, and all.

KR and Kurt took a nap, and then me and KR went to talk the dog and look for boxes.

NO working Thursday !!!!

Hurray, TPN today at work, which is teledentistry, and I am so glad,  KR went surfing, and Alan and Abby and Isaiah went to Costa Mesa to see Chargers train.  Man, I cannot figure out why anyone would see football team train.  That is a fan for you.

I went over to mom's and they didn't get up til 9.  Lovely gave mom a light breakfast.  Kirk and Meilan from her old Taiwan group, came from back east to go to a conference in Anaheim. 

I took mom to her morning program.

I went to the 99 cent store.

Picked mom up and dropped her off at her house.  Angel Lin and her daughters came, Isabella and Emily for a visit, and they went out to eat at Gen.  Alan, Abby, Isaiah, Isabella, Emily and Kurt and KR.  We ended up paying.

Angel bought sushi for us, and me Angel and Lovely and mom ate there.

They all came back here to watch the game and I went to bed by 9.

KR is in a better mood.

Only six more days til Kurt leaves.
