Monday LAST day in November

Day dawns cold, 45.  KR said he ha da dream that he REOPENED the dental office.  HAHAHA  And he had only one patient n a day.  

He had Zoom with Chris Cannon and I tried to contact Medi-Cal, all to no avail.  Then I tried again and an hour and 20 minutes later, I got it done, increase dad's food stamps to 186 or someting a month.  Also called Surgitel, they would be process my return soon, like 1  - 3 weeks.  Yikes.

We left for Rosie's and I went running, around Naples Island, just off of Belmont Shores.  I ran 3.4 miles, and KR and Gracie was in the water.  We came home, rested a bit and I picked up food from Daynah on Felbar.

We had dinner, I think, can't remember and went to bed

Sunday

 I was suppose to pick up Nancy for church, but she text me this morning saying that she is not feeling too well so I didn't go there.  Kurt was over at yeye's and he took dad to church and KR and I drove.

KR also put up the door garlands over the garage and the front door.  Mark came by and Gaia and Gracie had a lick fest, and a beer.  Then KR down another one real quick.  He seems to be a lot moodier when he drinks.  He tried taking a nap and no go, then read in the sun and another attempt at a nap.

I rode around in the alley and got a pull up bar and gave away.  The pan that Rita gave me I gave away.  Got two tubs for Farmers Market as ours were cracking.  Also got two huge rolls of toilet paper, so I am going to figure out how to use them,

Kurt came home from Yeye's when Violet came back.  She said her windshield was cracked from last Thursday or something like that when we had a wind storm,  

We started listening to Pastor Thrash and I fell asleep.  HAHAHA  Will try again later

Nice Saturday THEN TYLER SHOWED UP

 I did the sheets, and we walked the dog.  Gracie is such a sweetheart.

Kurt would not get up at Yeye so we went over there and yelled at him.

KR went to Farmers Market.  I went around to get stuff, like light bulbs and a Virgin Mary.

KR took a nap.  

KR wanted to go diving and Tyler called yesterday and said he wants to come out to pick up his drums.  He was suppose to arrive at 5 30, but at 5 45 I told KR to go.  He went to Indicator and got three bugs.  Tyler finally showed up at 6 30 and we got into it.  He wanted to bring the crate in and keep Toby in the crate.  I told him KR and I both told him that Toby needs to go with him, NOT locking him in the crate or chain him somewhere.  He started going off about all the nasty stuff he said, I finally said that he can either take Toby with him or just not come in at all.  He ranted and raved, and finally went to "BAND practice", whatever that is.  At Jacob B's house.

Tyler said he had left the snaps to his crate here last time.  Halloween, and I remembered a bag of snaps.  I finally found then,  I didn't know they were for his crate.  At least I didn't throw them out.  Of course he does not say THANK YOU

KR came home and we froze the three bugs.  We went to bed.  Don't know when Tyler came back but he was pretty quiet.

BLACK Friday

 Well, no one was open on Thursday night.  I guess the pandemic was good for family dinner, except too many people were afraid and ate alone.  That makes me sad.

We got up and I changed the sheets, but forgot to wash them.  Kurt was suppose to be up, and Yeye refused to eat breakfast, saying something about he can fix his own.  KR tried to fix the heater, it would not work yesterday, but still no go.  

Bill Johnson came over about noon and gave KR several shirts and a vest that was too small.  We went to Claudia's about 4, and she went to pick up Morgan, who had spent a week in Chicago.  We had great dinner, mixed baked vegetables, ham, two kinds, corn chowder, empanada, potatoes, noodles and sauce.  

We came home and went to bed.

I had a terrible dream, frustrating.

Lovely and some other people, maybe KR and I were on a tour of some place and I was following them, and they went ahead and disappeared.  I spent the whole time looking for them, and I was so mad, I think I threw something at Lovely.  Yelling at her for disappearing and just left me  oh my

GOBBLE GOBBLE DAY 2020

 I had to get up two or three times to pee.

Kurt had wanted to do the Turkey Trot, so I woke him while KR went to check the surf, and we went to Sam's Club to do the 'virtual' Trot.  There were at least 50 people there, with George Chen and a bunch.  We sang the Stars Spangled Banner, I waved a flag and 8 am we were off.

I have not ran that fast in a long time.  3 miles about 30:50, with Kurt beating me just a little. 

We came home and I cleaned the table and set up for tonight's dinner.  KR made the apple and apple/apricot pies, and took a nap.  Kurt folded the laundry, and gamed.  I got the giblets from Chuck and cooked it for Gracie

2 pm and KR picked up the bird.  As soon as he opened the bag, the burnt odor drifted up.  He tried carving it and the back just cracked in two.  Way over cooked.

We served it anyway.  Mimi came with Den, he made home made  cranberry sauce and a pumpkin moose cake.  Very nice guy.  There were 8 of us.  Three here, Brain, Violet, Dad, Mimi and Den.  Tyler did not make it.

We used FINE china and waterford.  Eating started at 3 and we were done in by 5.  Cleaned up and Violet took Yeye back and put him to bed and we cleaned up and went to bed.  We tried listening to a sermon, but KR passed out, in the middle of the sermon.  I just turned it off and went to sleep.

It was a very good meal.  Even though the  bird was overcooked.

Working for Megha Wednesday 11/25/2020

 So Megha took the day off and I worked for her.  7 45 am and it is me and Kim and Yvonne and Nic Stevens.  It was a slow day and Nic left about 9 30 about his daycare person for his son closing early. I had time to go to El Super to buy avocados and guava pastries.  

Lunch time I walked three miles and went back to work.  2 pm to 4 30, the two at 4 pm did not show up.

KR had made the pie crusts and was ready to go for the apple and apple/apricot pies tomorrow

He was walking Gracie when I got home, and blew .01 BAC even though he had THREE beers, one of which was 9% or something

I went to dad's to get the pesto, and ate a little and went to bed.

One patient ABBY BROWN Tuesday

 So we go walk the dog at the fire road.

Then I am off to work, KR goes surfing.  Kurt and KR goes to Farmers Market, and we get twenty thousand kale, and I start packing and giving away.  Kurt then says, "Hey, lets go for a run !!"  I deliver some kale at dad's and we go around the park.  He can run short distance fast but not long.  He did a mile in 8.5 minutes, while I struggled with 12.  We did 2.17 miles at 11 23 per mile.  Well, let's say, I did it real slow.

I then rode to Jon to deliver kale.  I made it about a mile and KR called and said I left the kale in the garage.  I DID  I turned around and came home and then went there.  It was sunny but got cold in the afternoon. 

Weather today was 68, low of 52, now at 7 30 57.

Doug came by and had a little chat.  

KR went to Mark's to deliver some fish and other foods.  Sarah Phan is such an amazing cook, we get so much food from them.  Today was bitter melon soup, rigatoni, fish with noodles, meat balls, and stewed chicken.

I gave Violet 500 today.  Bank would not give me more from ATM.  I have to go into the bank and get that figured out.

Also cannot get MediCal to figure out dad's food stamps, that he is paying more for "rent" and he only gets 108 dollars a month.  NOT RIGHT

Monday THANKSGIVING WEEK

 KR went surfing and I spent couple of hours cleaning to get ready for Andreas and Mirabel.  He had Zoom first.  Good thing when Kurt is at dad's, KR does not vape as much.

I went to Sarah's and picked up the oxtail soup, and drop off at Yeye and Mimi and dad ate the whole thing.  RED, Harry's look alike was there of course,  I printed a picture of Gracie but dad refused to paint her as he said Gracie was not looking at the camera and he could not do it.

REALLY????

I rode around the alleys, and we went for a walk at Fire Road

Joann dropped off some scones.  SO YUM

I cleared a bunch of stuff from our garage to mom's garage.  Just too much to clean before turkey day.

Andrea and Maribel came to clean.  Always love it when they come.  They got the dining room chairs cleaned up and the cushions dusted.  KR started putting the curtain rod on and scraped the ceiling a bit and had to paint a little and will be done tomorrow.  The curtains look great.

We went to bed pretty early.

Church on Sunday

 Kurt fed Yeye and brought him over.  He took a shower and we all went over to church.  Paul's msg on Timothy.

Then it was PESTO time.  I made a lot of pesto, with basil from Farmers Market yesterday.  KR made bean soup and drank at least 6 oz of bacardi rum.  Patty came over and brought us some chicken broth, and I gave her some pesto.

Jon Liu came by for some soup and pesto.  Also gave them the Christmas rotating light.

Cooking Saturday

 We walked the dog to the park and KR went to KHC to pick up food for the homeless. 

Miguel said his friends in the mobile home cannot cook, so KR cooked the ham and beans and potatoes and stuffing and pumpkin muffins.  Took hours.

Farmers market yield a LOT of basil so I went to Costco to print some pictures for yeye and to buy Parmesan cheese and olive oil.  It was very busy.  I didn't even look at the toilet paper. 

NEWSOM said curfew starting today 10 PM  so so sad that more closing down again.

We went to PIE and a PRAYER in the YMCA lot, with Saddleback Church.  Got two slices of each apple and pumpkin.

Kurt has been at Yeye from Friday night and will be there through Monday morning.

We also brought two servings to the guy living in the back of Sizzler restaurant.

We called for Kurt and Yeye to come over for dinner and dad was in one of his mood, and refused to come and KR got mad as he spent so much time making the dinner, so we ate and then brought the dinners over there for dad and Kurt,  He ate it all after we left, Kurt said.

One patient Friday CHRIS CANNON

 Chris had called me last week and wanted to get his teeth cleaned.  I had agreed to go clean Kady Newgard's apartment today, so we decided to go after my work.

Chris has some bad luck with his teeth.  Several internal resorption on lower and upper teeth.  Barry Johnson and Keith Komatsu did implants and he has a weird crown on #11 that Christine Varwig did, the shape is just a little off to me.

Afterward, KR met me at Kady's and we started.  THE APARTMENT LOOKED LIKE A BOMB WENT OFF !!!  There were three years of grime on the closet tracks in all the rooms and we asked Kurt to come as a Thanksgiving community service.  He REFUSED.  He did sweep and do a little at the house.

KR went home at 2 15 and I stayed until 4 30.  It was exhausting work.  Caleb and Kady were painting and cleaning.  I am going over there to pick up our vacuum and stuff.

I went over to the Gooch' to drop off Stephen's 50 dollar gift card for his CITIZENSHIP

We had zoom with the gang,  Was so so nice to 'see' everyone

I was exhausted.

Slow work Thursday

 AHHHHHH  it is actually Monday morning and I had forgotten to blog for days and days

I got to work on time, and it was a slow day.

Did NOT stop at El Super, cannot eat all that guava pastries

Came home and KR and Kurt were home.  He did not have 'Kurtis Day" yesterday at Corrina's

Mark came over with a small calico and then he said he was going to Santa Barbara but then he came back with the larger calico  I drove the small one to Sarah and then went over there to switch the fish.  Violet got the smaller one and Sarah got the larger one.

Easy Wednesday

 I had to get up and pee THREE times last night, and then the cough woke me up at 3 30 so I didn't get up until almost 7

We went down to the beach to walk the dog.  

Kurt finally mopped the floors in the afternoon, after I nagged hm.  He did not go up the hill to swim at Christina and Johann.  I went for a FOUR MILE RUN.  My hip was whinging but hey, 14 minute mile.  So so slow.  

KR went to Costco and had only ONE beer.

We had left over and I cooked some RICE balls.  I love that stuff, a little too much.

Watched SBCC sermon.  You Matter No Matter What  Yes, people matter to me

We heard this morning that Maribel's brother Martin died either today or yesterday from Covid, and they were collecting money.  We donated 200 so Marjorie can go shopping for the four families as they are all quarantine and then to plan for funeral.  Her dad is also in the hospital with Covid and she is very close to him.  I feel so so bad for them.  Dr Sata said after the grocery run, they still had 1000 dollars to donate towards the funeral.  Wow, they can't even plan until all are out of quarantine

We went to bed by 8 30.

I asked Violet to stay until Friday night, and we told Kurt to register for school, winter quarter. 

Consultating Tuesday 11/17/2020

 So Adam Chen wanted to know if I can go out to El Monte to see if the Western U clinic there can use the XDR sensors.  They will pay me 500 big ones for today's work.  Yes I will work, and more gigs please.

KR went to walk Gracie and I went to donate food at Saddleback and then to Mary's for the shield she borrowed, in case Doug Yoon needs it.  Then I drove to El Monte, and met Doug.

The Western U pedo clinic is in a large group of building, that has preschool, etc, and the chairs and set up are interesting.  They use the Nomad and XDR just sent them a loaner sensor.  They didn't have any bitewing tabs that can work with sensors.  The instructor was kind of not knowing how to deliver a flipper a student was trying to do, and another student could not get anesthesia, this 7 year old would not let him.  I just felt like they did not have a lot of instruction at this clinic.  Doug got the sensor to work, was the port that was the issue and I demo two pictures, and it was good pictures.  

Then we went out to shawarma place to have lunch.  Then I drove home.  I stopped at 99 Ranch for some fermented rice and black jelly drink, which I delivered to yeye's and saw him painting the gourds.  

Came home and KR and Kurt had gone surfing and they were warming up in the garage.  It was a beautiful warm day, and then the fog came in and dropped about 10 degrees and was COLD.

Noon was 75 and 3 was 59  WOW

Kurt had tutoring with Mia and then to D & D.  He got a check for $720 yesterday.  Yes !!!!

Monday WHAT a blessing

 We got up early, as usual, and I went to feed dad.  He had just gotten up.  KR had zoom with the guys.  Mimi came with RED, or Real Estate Dog, which looks like Harry, as a baby.  A chow puppy, so cute, and just so hairy and wanted to bite as he was teething.

I got home and KR took Gracie to the vet for her eyes, and I went to Mike Hopkin office and to Trent's and to Trotter.  Got some small stick on's from Hopkins.  They are so so nice. I came home, and we went on a bike ride.

IT WAS 89 DEGREES TODAY !!!!

We rode from Ave I to El Porto.  What a nice day.

We came home and I went to ES Chen's to get some food, then to Daynah for food and then Kady N came by with bags and bags of food.  We have so much stuff I am going to donate to the food bank bomorrow

KR and Kurt wrestled in the den, and KR beat Kurt, barely, but still.  Not bad for 63 vs 23

We went to bed pretty early

Pastor Thrash called and checked up on us.

Church on Sunday

 I got over there by 6 45 and dad was painting outside, on the ostrich egg doing some bas-relief again, of the two ostriches.

We go to church.

I think last night at 3 30 Kurt was still up, and he told me in Chinese, "there is a girl here" and this morning he says I must have been dreaming it.

He was not late to church.

After, we dropped Yeye off and we come home and work around the house.  Kurt took care of him all day.  Max went over to borrow his car to move some furniture.  Max moved to Hermosa Beach.

I told Violet until Kurt finds a full time job, he is going to work Friday and Saturday so we can pay him some of the money we will be paying Violet.  Warren said he is paying 375 towards dad's care.

So Mimi has Monday, Violet will be here Monday afternoon til Thursday night, then Kurt has Friday through Saturday night.  Then Sunday after church.  

Saturday 11/14/2020

 It was 48 this morning.  COLD

We walked the dog at the beach and KR went to KLUB, with Bubba and Matthew.  I went to the Farmers Market with Kurt.  Not much to eat.  No 16 cantaloupes this week.  After KR came back, he took a nap and I rode around, dropping off the slide rule and the protractor to Naby.  Yoshiun also dropped off some paints.

Violet told me that Warren had been bugging her to get a will,  After several lengthy conversations with them both, Warren said that Violet already had a will and that the house goes to Mimi and he gets the life insurance, but he is paying the premium,  

I told them both that I will take care of dad no matter what,  When IHSS starts there will be plenty of money to pay for it all  So I guess in the mean time we are paying all, and Mimi comes once a week.  I just don't understand that family.  Guess it is not my place.

Kurt went out on a date with the same short Japanese girl that he met on Tinder.

I wonder  if he has a job next week

SEEINg Mom B and Aunt Ethel

 We decided last night to go see Mom B and Aunt Ethel.  KR walked the dog while I did laundry, changed the sheets and removed the dog ear blood from the sheets.

We left for Rancho Bernardo with Gracie.  Adam called on his way home to Hawaii.  He wanted me to join Doug Yoon and go visit a clinic in El Monte to help them with the sensors, or something like that.

We arrived almost 12 and B and Ethel didn't require us to wear a mask.  We went to Miguel's Mexican Restaurant.  THE FIRST TIME I ATE INSIDE a restaurant since March.  WHOLE eight months.

The food was great and they took home the left over and we did too.

KR cooked the lobster tail we brought down for them.  They will eat it for dinner.  We also played Hand and Foot.  What a weird game.  Wonder who dreamed up those rules.

We left and hit a bit of traffic, arriving home almost 6.

Kurt had gotten his Rona test and was just sitting and doing not much.  I asked him to make our bed, he didn't.  He only brought in two cans,  He had been drinking and watching movies.

He needs to get a job or go to school full time or something.....

We went to bed. 

It was a great day.  So glad we drove down there to visit.

LIGHT working Thursday

 Got to work by 6 45  Schedule light.  Maribel didn't tell me that the repairman Stan was coming from Patterson to fix the vacuum, etc, water line.  The first patient Hugo was a NO GO !!  He had tried with me and was able to get one filling done, and today he just would not cooperate with Dr Nick.

Next one was BRANDON, who was whinging too, and with dad in the room, FINALLY I was able to do #3 OBL, but oh man, he had chucks of tarter on his teeth.  He admitted that he does NOT BRUSH his teeth at night, EXCEPT last night, he did.  Dad saw all the food and stuff we had to clean before we could do anything.  Oh my, these kids

We were done by 10

AND I FOUND MY LIGHT CORD !!!!  The cleaning crew had put the cord on the top of the microwave, and when I was cleaning it, I FOUND IT.

I knew I didn't lose it elsewhere.  I canceled the cord I ordered with Surgitel.

Got home, KR was in Long Beach with the dog.  He did admit he had a beer down there.  He would not blow on the BAC and finally did and said it was within legal limit, so most likely .08 or .07.  I just cannot understand why he needs to drink regularly, to intoxication, and drive !!  AAARRRRGGGG

That gets me so frustrated.

I went over to dad's to get the tarp so I can get some hay or straw or something for the girls.  They went down to San Clemente.  Dad does not like going down there,  Said there are too many white people.

I also got some food from Daynah small cheeseburgers, and porridge from Sarah Phan.  OH YUM

After they came back, I went to visit Yeye and Violet and dad said they had a good time, although no nap.  

KR dove at TA and got  FIVE   lobsters and we gave two to Violet and dad, and Kurt cooked and ate one.

Cooking Away Wednesday Veteran's Day

 I could not wake up, and KR woke me about 6 55 saying WE GOTTA GO WALK THE DOG

Well, ok.  So we were going to go to the BAY, but we drove past the beaches and it was so so nice out, kind of cold, we just walked the beaches.  There were many dolphins out there chasing the bait fish and the pelicans were diving for the fish fighting with the seagulls.

I got home and started cooking stewed tomatoes.  It was a lot of work, and I made almost 6 quarts.  They got given away to BNT.  I didn't can them so they are to be eaten this week.

KR went to feed Nancy as Kurt wanted 12 - 2 off.  He went up to Christina's to swim with the kids and Corrina.

He got home before 8.  WOW

Sarah made beat and tendon soup.  So SO good.

We cut up more cantaloupe and they were all pretty sweet.

KR watched UFC and football.

Two Patients Tuesday

It is very cold this morning.  48  I didn't get up until past 6 15.  KR suggested we go walk the dog, so I drove my car down to office and he picked me up and we walked Gracie at the beach, then I went to work.  First patient was Sarah Phan !!!  She was on time  She had a bunch of tarter on the lower front teeth.  I did a very thorough cleaning and explained how to floss, etc.

The next one was Kimel.  His delivery went well, the thick night guard.  

When I got home, KR had gone to the farmers market.  

IT WAS 28000 cantaloupe and green onions, and tomatoes and so much stuff

I rode over to Eleanor Michael and gave her a bunch of scraps, and to Debbie Jones too.  

Then I went to Jon Liu's with cantaloupe and green onions and lettuce.  He had food surgery today. 

Kurt worked today and asked me or KR to work for him tomorrow 12 - 2 so he can go to Corrina's to do pool before it is too too cold.  Told him to ask pops

He went to D & D

Monday Andrea and Maribel cleaning day

 I go see Yeye and KR goes to get the vape, which I had hidden at his house by the flash light on the counter.  HAHAHA  No one saw it.

He gets cream of asparagus soup and pb & j sandwich.  I do more dish cleaning, and packing a box of the blue plates with gold vein.

Mimi comes at 8.  I do a loud of laundry.  It is really cold today. High temp today was 63, low of 48.  THAT IS COLD from last Thursday high was 88 !!!!!!

Then I go to the office to find my cord to my light.  NOT THERE !  And then I go to Fry's and no cord to buy, then to Best Buy and NO GO.  I had Adele ordered a cord for me, but won't come until tomorrow.  She is in Connecticut.  With Liz, Neil's mom.  

I come home and go to dad's.  Mimi said she left for LA to see her attorney about something and she bought a chow puppy.  Man, I don't know how she is going to take care of a dog.  Sarah gave us some interesting food, wrapped in banana leaf?  He goes to nap and I go home,  Violet comes by 3 and Mimi leaves early.

Kurt works at Nancy's but forgot to warm up the food for her that we made.  The asparagus and the steak with bell pepper.

Sunday and Kurt is madder than.......

 So we get up and Kurt had his 'fireplace' on and I go in to turn it off and KR goes in to find the vape as it was NOT downstairs.

AND I said oh no, you don't have this no more.

I go feed dad breakfast and did the laundry first.  KR goes and walks the dog and then we go to church.  Kurt does NOT show up.  Yeye has no trouble going.  He kept asking for Kurt.

Kurt then goes to KHC and says they would not let him in.  

I take Yeye for newspaper, and then he eats lunch of asparagus soup and Chinese roll, then naps. 

Kurt comes home to tutor Mia, and then back to Yeye.  I drive over to Nancy's she wnted some TP.  I get milk, and beer and vege for KR.  He cooks pepper steak with cream of mushroom soup for Maria W and delivers.  Maria tells Joann and Tony, who then said since KR goes around all kinds of people, the Francis will prolly not be able to go there any more.

JEEZ

Dad starts painting Mini-Moo.  I ran a load of dishwasher all the old plates and stuff.  Trying to ask Lovely if the stuff can be given away.   She wants to keep alot of stuff, and I just don't

It is so very windy today, and tonight.  The rain fell VERY little.

I went running, 5K but actually a little longer.  Forgot to turn the watch on.  13.15 min mile  so slow

BIDEN WINS WE HAVE A NEW PRESIDENT AND SOME RAIN

 The day dawns cold, and started raining by 8 or so.

We drove up to the fire road and it didn't rain, although it was pouring right before we left.

Then it was house work time.  KR and Kurt went to the farmers market.  More asparagus, and he bought me some jujubes, was not as good as last week.

The news gave Biden the presidency, although James says that Gore had thought he had won in 2000 and Bush sued and Florida turned over to him, but their electoral votes were very close so that is not the case here.

Then I was on the phone with Frontier Communications for 45 MINUTES !!  They sent me a bill for dad for NOVEMBER !!!   REALLY???

Then she hung up on me.

Oh man

KR put on a fire, was that cold.

I rode around, then went for a run around the neighborhood.

Kurt says he still employed this week.

One Patient Friday

I had several patients, but Kimel rescheduled and I tried to get Faye to come in, as next week no good.

I went and saw Jesse and cleaned his teeth.  I could not find the cord to my light so I borrowed Will's.  Hope he didn't get mad.

I also did laundry and washed the sheets, clean of Gracie's bloodied ear.

KR had one large beer.  Smelled like two during Zoom.

I rode around to the bank and got Violet some money, 500 big ones.

KR slept for over 2 hours, ate left over and we had our bible study.

Kurt worked at Nancy's and Bill said that he is switching to 24 hour of Agency care.  Does that mean he is no longer employing Kurt?  Said last week he was going to keep Kurt.  Boy, I guess Kurt needs to figure out his own working schedule.

I just feel that Bill is not too cool with telling him one thing and then doing something else. 

Unique said that she found out today that Bill didn't want her to come to work.  WHAT the heck, last minute telling someone not to come, and that I FOUND her for him???

Sometimes no good deed goes unpunished.

We shall see, I guess

 

Easy working Thursday

 The last two weeks have been pretty slow.  Which is good.  Dr Nick Stevens is pretty good.  I let him do some fillings today, and the one on Arne Sanberg #8 MIL turned out pretty good.  We got done by 1 and I got home.  Of course KR was asleep, two beers later.

I pulled out some stuff, like our old phone system, and the laminating machine and hair dryer to give away.  And also posted the boysenberry plants and the raspberry plants.  They are all out front to be gone.

The trash man did not take the green can   Guess we had it too close to Martin's car.  They are so weird.  Not seeing Martin for days, and the house they live in is such a mess, all cluttered with stuff,

We drove down to the beach to watch the sunset.  

Dinner was leftover.

OFFICE meeting Wednesday

 Election results not in for POTUS.  Some local results are in.

I cleaned more vegetables and KR walked Gracie and then picked up the Ensure from Maria Cusick of BNT.  So much good stuff.

I let the broth cool when I went to office meeting, and strained to make cream of asparagus soup.

The meeting was good  We did well in production for October.  Got done and left at 11.  Went to El Super, and got some guava pastries.

Pulled out a bunch of stuff from mom's garage, like the Christmas stuff I found in the alley a long time ago and now someone wants them.  

TUESDAY AND IT IS ELECTION DAY

 SO TODAY                    ELECTION TUESDAY

KR got up first and I didn't make it up until after 6.  We had already voted.  We went down to the beach and walked Gracie.  Saw Natalie.  Her cat is sick.  Pray for the cat.

Kurt was actually a few minutes early.

We stopped at Will's and picked up my paycheck.

KR went to farmers market and it is BEET city plus asparagus.  I cooked a bunch and gave away a lot of food.  With chicken food for Eleanor and Debbie Jones, I rode to their houses.  

I gave some to Grace, some to Sarah and then she cooked a lot of soup.  I put it on the stove overnight so to make bone broth.

We went to bed not knowing the result.

Monday November already, POST daylight savings

 So I go over to dad's and it is foggy.  He gets up about 7 30 and I was cleaning all kinds of stuff.  Found Lovely's photos from 1982 along with Eddie and James.  Where was mine?  No idea

Mimi comes about 8 and I go home.  We went and walked the dog.  Gracie started shaking her head and the ear bled AGAIN.   Natalie, of the dog treats, gave her TWO TREATS !!!!  

Kurt went to work, said it was foggy so he was late.

I paid Shawn, the plumber, and he was kind of upset, KR thinks because I forgot.  I went through some of dad's photos.  He finished the bas-relief of Gracie, but it looked like ANOTHER HARRY !!

I went over there at 4 30 and dad didn't say that Mimi was sent by the government.  Violet came by 6 and brought a LOT OF FOOD,  Fried fish and meat stew and tofu, etc,  She wanted me to drop off some for Sarah so I did.  Sarah also said she cooked bitter melon soup and told me to come tomorrow.

I had a chat with Will about 4 pm.  I told him I didn't want to pay the full 100% of lab fee and that it was not fair that I make less than the hygienists.  He said that Magda was coming on board full time Monday through Thursday and he will close Friday again.  DARN  He said he will look at lab bills and get back to me.

I went to bed before KR and slept for about 10 hours. !!!

Tyler leaves Sunday

 I got to Yeye's and he didn't want to eat breakfast.  I had to have some lobster soup with him.  KR picks him up for church, and I come back to change.  Tyler was just packing up.  Said he and Courtney had to be in Arizona, where they are looking for an apartment.  Wonder why he drove the extra five hours just to spend one night. 

I am glad he is leaving.

Did not feel safe with his dog and my poor Gracie and the cats.

We go to church and then Kurt takes Yeye to go on a drive.  Went up to Grandma B's old house.  Got sold in 2013 by Diane, and 2016 again, and over 2 million dollars !!

I go to Nancy's and introduce her to Unique who got there at 4 pm.  She has 4 - 8 shift today and 4 - 10 rest of the week.

We had minute steaks for dinner and KR drank three glasses of white wine and went to bed at 6 30, and IT IS DAY LIGHT SAVINGS 

Kurt was gaming there all night.  Dad did not want to eat dinner, said he can just eat bread and soy sauce???  We had to trick him into eating something.  Like a fish sandwich  So he ate the three pieces of bread with the meat floss and the fish sandwich.

Saturday HALLOWEEN

 So we are hoping or trick or treater today but alas......

Tyler calls and he and Courtney and Toby will be here about 12 30.  We go walk the dog.  It was foggy here but not down at the beach.

Tyler arrives about 1 30 and Toby is a rambunctious dog.  Little did I know

They go out for a bit and was going to go to Jacob's for some band practice.  KR goes to Farmers market and then takes a nap before they show up.

Then KR gives Toby a little food in Gracie's bowl.  Toby goes out and Gracie goes over for a sniff.  TOBY ATTACKED GRACIE and bit a chunk of her ear off.,  The BLOOD just drip all over.  Poor Gracie.  She got some lacerations on her lip/chin area too.  We tried getting the blood to stop.  Called Dr White, but their office was closing in a few minutes.  We called Lawndale vet and then decided that we should just bandage up the ear and get her some augmentin.

Gracie shakes her head and the blood was just all over my car and the carpet etc. 

We had to go pick up Bubba so we take Gracie and then go through the YMCA drive through for candy.  We come home and Tyler and Courtney and Toby are gone.  Bubba and KR eat dinner and then go to the neighborhood.  I wait for some or ANY TRICK OR TREATER.  

WE ONLY HAD ABOUT 10 and I am so sad that kids cannot go out, but people can go to Costco and other places.

Bubba and KR come home, and he drives Bubba home.  We tried to rebandage Gracie but she keeps taking the bandage off.  We finally just put some bedding on the floor and went to sleep with Gracie on her bed so she won't get the new clean sheets all bloody.

It was a hard night sleep
