Last day of March Wednesday Meeting w Bill Philips

 KR goes surfing and I am home cooking the cabbage and broccoli.  After surfing he met with Bill who said he is not feeling too well and will be checking himself in today, so KR's first day of work is TOMORROW.  

I go see Curt Lee for pre-op blood work and EKG.  When I come home we go get the Nordic Track from Buy Nothing.  I will get it going so I can exercise a bit without running.

Kurt worked a FULL day and said he only had 45 min for lunch and NOT ONE PATIENT canceled or no showed.

Yikes

We had left over and I made KR's lunch and did a load of laundry.  

Kurt went to bed about 6 30 and slept mostly all the way through.  I thought that might happen as he didn't go to bed until 11 30 and working full time all week, he has gotta be tired.

More working Tuesday

 I slept a LONG time yesterday, waking about 6 30.  KR went surfing and I went to work.  Mary was my first patient, and I delivered her crown.  No problem.  However, I found another decay on #19.  I spoke with Will Weston and he suggested I do an amalgam.  Then I saw Kimel and I did that on his crown years ago, and it is still there and no more decay.  hmmmm  will have to talk to Mary about that

I came home, and Violet had showed up and brought me a whole duck !!!!  Wow that woman is amazing.  So I came home instead of having to go to dad's for the afternoon.  I was really tired.  Jeff Yamane came by and gave us some blue fin tuna, and chatted for a bit.  KR took a nap and I divvy up the six tons of vegetables KR got from the farmers market.

We had maybe 20 heads of salary, kale, radish, a lot of broccoli, fennel, lots of red cabbage and spinach.  KR cleaned and cooked the spinach.  I cooked turkey burgers for dinner. 

Kurt came home and he worked until 6.  A long day.  He has another week of work next week.  KR talked to Bill Philips about how he does composites.  KR is going in to talk to him tomorrow, as Bill is going in for blood work, and if it looks bad, they are going to admit him right away and KR will start working Thursday.

OH WOW

Danielle, said she had her mastectomy today, and is in the hospital and will be coming back home tomorrow prolly. OH WOW  So many people to pray for.

I went to bed by 9 pm.

EXHAUSTING Monday

 So I was up by 5 30 thinking of the day ahead.  KR left to do his Zoom over at Yeye's as Kurt had to go to work too.  I was there by 7 45 and the 8 am did not show up.  

BUT

9 am and BAMB, it was FAST and furious. 

Melissa needs help.  She does not know the name of the instruments.  She cannot get all the stuff ready on time.  Kurt is better than she is, but....  So it was Jasmine, the WLA hygienist, Arusha and Melissa, Yvonne and me.  We were very busy.  Lunch for everyone was at 1 but I didn't finish until 1 40 with charts.  Then Chris Cannon text that he needed dental check up before his open heart !!!  

Then Bill Philips called and said that he needs Karl to step in and work in his office.  He has leukemia.

Yikes

I left about 5 45 and got home and walked Gracie with KR down at the beach.

Ate a piece of brisket, and went to bed by 8 30

Another work day tomorrow

Quiet Sunday

 We walked Gracie to Hickory.  My hip was whinging.  We picked up Kurt for church.  He was not early enough to go to COTB.  We came home after stopping at JJ and buying paper.

We went back for membership class, and had a lovely BBQ chicken dinner, with rice and vege and salad and dessert.  KR took a short nap and picked up Matthew and Bubba.  KR had premade the PB cookies and just baked it when they got here. 

They also watched a movie.  Jon Liu came by for some jam.  Oh, KR picked the kumquats and I made jam with the frozen apricots we still had.  At least 10 jars.  I also gave Sarah the lobsters and picked up some dog food off of NextDoor.  I gave Erik a jar of jam too.  

I went to bed before they even finished the movie.

A long day of work tomorrow,

Lincoln Heights Vax

 We got up early and KR walked the dog while I did the laundry and clean up.  We left for Lincoln Heights, Ave 26 by 8 30 and where was a DOG on the 110 fwy and the cops had just arrived to get it off the center divider, does not look hurt.  Oh my

We had orientation at 2618 Worksman Ave, Advent Christian Church, actually another name.  The four of us used 300 vax today.  It was HOT weather and early was cold but got warmer and warmer.  The clients were mostly hispanics, and many did not speak English.  KR and I worked all day.  Arriving at 9 and left by 6.  Lunch of Chik-fil-a and it was not enough.  

BUT when we got home, Adele had brisket waiting for us with mashed potatoes and green beans.  We ate and took shower and went to bed.  

CHURCH tomorrow.  We were so so tired.  We are also on for next week.

Massage Friday

 We got up early and took Gracie to Fire Road.  My hip was sore, so we walked slowly.  After we came back, KR went to Bill Johnson's to help him plant the trees.  Well, Bill said he dug the holes, he did not.  KR had to dig more.  Nazareth came at 11 and we had some fab massages.  I went to the  pool and did a 30 min walk about.  Got some tan too.  

Saddleback Church is starting to build a tent in the YMCA parking lot and they will have services there for awhile.  They also set up several porta-potties.  KR went to Kings Harbor Brewery and got some beer.  He had half a growler, and three hours later still have .08 BAC.  I didn't make anything of it, knowing that he is buzzed and not engage.  

Kathy came by with Yeye's PLD frame and picked up some food.  Will Weston is saying something about retiring as he battles colon cancer.

I listened to an interesting webinar on Class V composite.  

KR cooked scallops and shrimp with garlic, really good food, over potatoes.  We brought some over to Yeye's.  I had been invited by Adele to Seder.  But KR cannot go because he is not vaccinated.,  I asked Kurt if he wanted to go.  Kurt says no, but I am trying to convince him.

I did laundry and KR read some and he went to bed by 8 15.  We are going to Lincoln Heights tomorrow to vax  He snored often and loud

Regular Thursday at work

 first time in years that I didn't have a 7 am.  Got there by 6 45 and it was pretty busy day.  Melissa was there and she is really slow, and unsure, but willing to learn.  Yvonne really helped her along.  We had a family of 6, four biological and two adopted black kids,  with the 7 year old needing endo on #14.  I feel bad.  Mom is very earth motherly and said she didn't know we were open since Covid lock down.

Went to El Super to buy avocados and some guava pastries.  When I got home, the city had cut down three large trees on the north side ofo 226 and the large tree in front of Rocky's house.  Patty text me that Stella asked the tree folks to take two large stumps down to her driveway.  KR and Chuck brought a whole bunch of wood too.

I rode around the neighborhood.  Nothing in the alley.  KR took a nap.

We went to Costco and bought panko shrimp, on my.  Spent some good money on food.  And wine.  And we ate a lot of it and gave Yeye a box of ice cream bars.

Had a little rain sprinkle.  Took a shower and went to bed by 8

LLLOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGGGG day at work

 KR came in to work on Diego, prepped 29 and 30 for crowns.  He got there at 7 30 and Kurt and I got there by 7 45.  It was a LONG day.  We worked hard.  Kurt went out to lunch at 12 45 and I didn't get done with charts until 1 40 and ate a few bites at the reception area.

Afternoon we were done by 5 30 and  Kurt left before I did.  KR went home and did a bunch of yard work like weeding the serenity garden.  Kurt asked not to work tomorrow as our schedule was light.  Besides Dr Sata told me that Melissa, the new hire was coming.

I had a long talk with Megha that the hygiene student, Summer, had done two sealants on K & T when she was suppose to do 19 and 30.  Plus she could not take x rays too well.  

Kurt was very helpful.  When he got home he said that I didn't talk to him enough.  I told him I didn't because he is catching on so quickly I didn't need to talk to him.  Oh, well I guess he misunderstood what my intensions were.

I went to bed by 8 30 and  I was really exhausted.

OFF TUESDAY ME NO WORK

 So KR and I go walk the dog at the beach.  I do more laundry.  Kurt is woken up by the Monk coach and goes to work by 9 30.  He had to be there at 9 45.  Then he went to the beach  for a swim at lunch.  KR goes down to see Ed in Huntington for  a coffee.  He has a sandwich on the way home.  I cook some ham and chicken leg.  I thought it was bacon  but it was left over ham from some time ago. 

KR comes home late by 1 30 and I was out dropping off some eggs for Sue.  I did another load of laundry.  Gracie had wrecked her toe on something and was bleeding on the bed so I washed everything.  Plus M-Moo had puked on it weeks ago too.  It was pretty cold today, high of 63.  I rode up to Cricklwood, which is above the Ralph off of Crest for some mustard greens that I am going to cook and I got some phisoderm like soap from Naby.  I have to use that for three days before my surgery.

I made the Covid test appt for Friday 4/16 4 30  Gonna get ready for that surgery.

KR took a nap.

Kurt got home by 5 15 and I paid him  He was tired and went to bed pretty early.

Monday

 So Kurt says he is NOT  moving out as he cannot afford it and shall start MONK  MODE today.

KR wakes him up by 7 and he goes to work.  I do a load of laundry and we tried to  walk the dog but KR  sees surf and we go quickly shopping at Smart and Final and buy nuts and juice for Rita.   Oh, Rita called and said she was shaking and we went over there.  She  had  complains  about Gina and other  people  and said  that  she is not  feeling well, but  does not feel like she wants Gina to come, as  Gina wants to set her own hours.

OH MAN

I stay home and did KR's passport renewal, and looked at Yellowstone lodging and it is very expensive and everything is just about sold out.  WOW  Spoke with Mike Gooch and they  went for their honeymoon there, and said we have to go.  We are thinking late September.

Kurt worked 7.5 hours today.  Had a  long lunch and came  home  by  5  45.   He thought  he was going to be able to leave by  4  30  but  no go.  Maribel still did not let me know who he wants KR to see this Wednesday.

Sarah gave us pho, and I cooked kale from Fariba with chard and cauliflower and and this strange watermelon looking squash.  It was yum

KR and Kurt did about 20 minutes of exercise.  Part of Monk Mode, I guess.  Not drinking I think is also Monk Mode and KR not vaping past morning  I guess.

SUNDAY Church and Bees

 We got up, well not too early for me but KR went checking the surf, but didn't go.  It was not that great.

Kurt went to COTB and we picked up Violet and Yeye and went to BOH.

I had done laundry last night and middle of the night, I hung  them  up  and this morning I took them  outside.  The towels and car covering I had to wash twice, they were that dirty.  KR went to see Linda Barbara at the beach and I rode to Jon's house and on the way back, Kurt text that Tyler had arrived. I got home and who do I see, COURTNEY????  What is she doing with Tyler?  I thought she was mad at Tyler and had Tyler arrested with domestic abuse?  What is going on?  They live in Arizona and maybe they are back together. 

Tyler picked up his check and left.  KR came back and did a bit of work and went to nap.  I cooked the chicken alfredo  and then stir fried asparagus with cauliflower and took everything to Yeye's and we had a nice dinner.  We ran out of ice cream.  I must go tomorrow too get more.  Costco

KURT says he is NOT moving out and is going to try MONK MODE tomorrow, who knows, praying they succeed

KR went and picked up some bees from a swarm box he put by Calle Mayor.  Not too many bees this year.

We read ODB just one day and went  to bed.

Working Thursday and KERN RIVER FUN WEEKEND

 So we all got up early as KR was coming to the office to do Diego Chavez's endo 29 and / or 31.  Turns out 31 did not have exposure so KR finished the endo on 29, and did a buildup.  He went home.  I was working until about 12 30.  KR packed up the car and came back to pick me up and we were on our way.

Kurt did well, and went to Louie's to drop off Yeye's PLD case.  KR brought me some lunch and we went up 405 to 5 to 99 to Kern River.  We stopped at Lake Isabella and Gracie of course was in the water and bringing back rocks !!!!

We checked into Mountain-N-Lake motel by the lake.  The lake water was low, and cold cold and cold.  We went to Cheryl's for a great dinner.  It was amazing steak and shrimp for me and KR had fabulous fried chicken.  Plus apple pie for dessert.  We went back and read Our Daily Bread before retiring.  Gracie had her own bed.  She was exhausted.

Next morning we went to Miracle Hot Springs off of Borel Road off of 178. There were FOUR naked people, two very nice ladies and some other folks.  The water was really nice.  I actually went into Kern River.  It was SO SO SO SO COLD !!!!!!  Once I got in, I could not think of anything else, other than GET OUT NOW !!!!  After we went back to the  lake, this time by the motel, and Gracie went rock fishing some more.  

We packed up and went to McNally's Outpost just by the river, across from Frandy Park.  The other McNally's is closed.  We had two Lovely burgers and then went on our way to Barstow.  KR thought we would arrive in Barstow too early so I looked up what else to do and found Rainbow Basin Natural Area just to the north of Barstow off of Irwin road.  It was a Lovely Lovely drive with the beautiful rock formations, and we headed towards Barstow to the Best Western

We had dinner at Los Domingos Mexican.  My shrimp was so so but KR's jambalaya was really good.  We took a little bit of his home.

We read more ODB and went to bed.  The next morning, we picked up our ToGo breakfast and headed to Mojave National Preserve.  First it was Mitchells Cavern.  There are stalactites and stalagmites and helictites and cave coral.  Unfortunately it was not opened, but maybe when they do open, we should make reservation and come and do this very interesting tour.  THEN it was the Ring Trail Loop.  We walked around the base of a small mountain, off of the Hole in the Wall  visitor center and had to climb out via the  rings that were set into the side of the lot.   This  woman  had some issues climbing down the slot when it was really easy if you had a little  bit  of upper body strength.

So we finished and moved onto Kelsp Depot, which was an old train station.  I thought I locked the keys in the car, ended up I did but I must have pushed the unlock, so the keys were NOT locked.  Not only that, I did  not close the moon roof window either.  I had visions of waiting for someone from Barstow to break the window open to get at the keys.  Yikes.

We drove to Kelso Dunes but the round trip was 3 miles to the top, we just watched the folks tried to snow board off the dunes via binoculars.  Then we went to the LAVA TUBE !  You climb down the stairs and there is this large cavern.  There are several openings to the top, and you can take some really amazing pictures.

We drove home via Baker, and Jack in the Box.

We got home by 7 20.  The house was pretty clean.

Massage with Nazareth Wednesday

 So KR got up REALLY early, and we walked the dog, then he went surfing.  I rode around giving lettuce away and then Nazareth came at 11.  We both got a great massage,  and she will let us know what the packages are running.  I picked up food from Dena and gave Nazareth a bunch of stuff.

KR took a nap and I rode around some more.  Kurt worked all day at the clinic.  He ate out again.  Last night KR said he told dad maybe to go for Monk Mode, whatever that is, something about living clean life.

Then he comes home and gets a drink and goes to bed.

I went and took dad's impression for new partial.  He first threw a fit so I left.  Then Violet explained to him that I am going to make the molds there and so I went back and took his impressions, and KR poured it up.  

We had left over for dinner.  Kurt didn't eat, just went to bed.

We took a shower and went to bed too

Mary Eileen at the office Tuesday

I was suppose to have two patients, but Ramona canceled, her car broke down and Darryl can't lend her his.  I prepped Mary's crown.  Managed to get the old pmf off and then the decay off of lingual and did a nice prep and imp.

THEN WILL WESTON TOLD ME HE HAS COLON CANCER !!!!!   I was just in shock.  I guess life is short.  He has a classmate coming in to do his work and he will work on his health.  

After prep, Mary and I talked for a bit and she agrees that Kurt would have to find another place to live, as he already broke the bond he promised to.  KR says Chris Cannon and Bill both said that he should be gone for a certain amount of time so that if he CANNOT afford it after a month, he will have to live in  his car, etc.  Oh man  We are going to tell him tonight, and maybe before he really makes a mess of things, talk  it over with Chris and Anne, etc.  

I went over to Yeye, while KR went to FM and got sixty thousand broccoli and kale and romaine lettuce and radish and I gave a bunch away.  Picked up a Pelican case for my phone and it is a lovely pink, even though for iPhone 7 plus, fits the 8 plus well.

I went back to Yeye and  he flipped the clothes drying out there that I washed this morning.  Kurt came back and I came home.  We went back there and told him that if he wants to move out he needs to stay out maybe 3 - 6 months.  KR had talked to Bill Johnson and that both Bill and Chris says that he  should not be bouncing back and forth, just make up his mind if he is going to be gone or not.

KR was pretty adamant and didn't even vape.

OH WOW

Monday

 So Kurt went to work, forgot his mask, etc.   I went over to Yeye's as KR had Zoom and funny thing Yeye did not get up until after 8 30.  I started going through mom's stuff and gave away most of her clothes that was in the closet.  It made me sad that she will not be coming back.  I still don't believe what Lovely says, that mom cannot come back again.  Or at least Lovely CANNOT bring mom back so if I want her back, I would have to go get her.  There were THREE large bags of clothes.  I also did a load of laundry.

While I was making Kurt's bed, and moving his plaid jacket, his vape pens fell out of his jacket pocket.  There were four of them, and one of them smell like weed.  I text both KR and Kurt and picture and said we need to talk, and Kurt's reply was "How dare you?"  Well, I didn't snoop I was cleaning the mess of a room, so his tone was just bad.

I went and got the newspaper after I dropped  the clothes off at Donna's.   And I did a little bit of paperwork, found Mary Yamasaki's mom and dad's death certificate.  She wanted the stuff.  I went home.  

Then Kurt came by and said he is willing to move out.  OK, we talked to Bill Johnson, who said that it is Kurt's choice to move, if he does not want to live  with the rule of the house.  Hmmm.  We went back over there and told him.  He said he will be looking for a place, and he hopes he can find with in the next two weeks, when he has work at the clinic.

Yeye said he ate dinner, and would not eat.  He had some pullaparts, and an ice cream bar.  I brought some food over from Sarah's and he said he would not eat.

We came home and went to bed.  From the stress, of Kurt, my stomach hurts.  I love that boy.  He needs to realize that he needs to grow up.

Sunday and ANOTHER Tyler visit

 So KR transferred the bees that swarmed into the guava tree.  He wants the swarm to stay.  We walked the dog to the park.  Then we went to church.  Yeye didn't go.  Kurt had a hard time getting up because of DAYLIGHT SAVINGS.  What we are saving I don't know.

Paul had a good sermon.  We went home and I puttered, then we went back to church.  For the membership class, and church had provided tacos and tortilla soup for lunch.  I was so hungry arlier, I ate a little of the beef stew.

There was brownie

Tyler had text that he HAD to go back to Arizona he has a job but no gas money, and Will just ordered McDonalds and the place is so so messy and he has to get out of there.  I gave him 100 dollars and told him he had to send me a birthday card.  That boy is so so ungrateful.

Bill and Elaine picked up his peach tree and KR got the water barrels ready for the rain that is suppose to happen tonight.  

I had a long chat with Dr Sata and Kurt is working all week.

We had left over for dinner and went to bed.  

Tyler's surprise visit Saturday 3/13/2021

 We go walk Gracie at the beach.  KR  has Klub so he left about 8 50.  I did two loads of laundry, changed the sheets, etc.  It was really cold but warmed up to 61.  I went to Dena's and picked up some food.  I picked up Kurt and we went to Farmers Market.  NOTHING  !!  We actually got nothing edible, not even some lettuce for chickens, just couple of strawberries.  

When we got home from FM, Tyler was at the door.  Ends up he has been staying at Will's.  He says Will's place is a real mess, dishes from one side to another.  Then he started about how he was abused by us and he has PTSD, and all that stuff.  I had to leave.  That boy needs help.

Then he takes a shower, a reallllllllly long shower, and gets the mat all wet.  He complains ad nauseam  about how filthy Will's house is.  Food everywhere, bong stuff all over, dirty dishes all over, bathroom disgusting, but hey, he was staying there for free.  He finally leaves after Chris Cannon came to borrow our van for a friend of his.  Chris was suppose to come at 2 ended up coming with Anne at 2 30, and I drove him over to get the van.  His friend is going to take it down to San Diego for a college tour or something  like that.

I picked up pho from Sarah and made KR a fabulous pho with meat that I cooked and I talked to mom while KR read and we went to bed

Easy Friday

 So it was 39 degrees this morning !!!    BBBRRRRRRRRR  COLD

KR went surfing, the Avenues.  I cleaned the house a little.  Use Zroomba to clean the carpet downstairs.  Placed the toner in the printer, and printed the transfer of house deed paperwork Eliot sent.  I am hoping to get this done right.

Rode my bike to Yeye's to bring them stuff, like soap and cleanser.  Sarah wanted me to go get her salt cooking stone and she text me the wrong address, I was riding around and around, and finally went to the right place, maybe 3/4 mile away.  The salt stone was about 20 pounds !!!!

Lovely said mom was up and pounding on the walls again.  She is looking for a place for mom.  sad sad

I asked dad about his birthday.  He says, I kid you not, HE CANNOT HAVE A BIRTHDAY PARTY, because he had a dream, if he did he would die.  That is so so weird.

We went to Costco and spent about 150 dollars, half of which was for food on EBT.  Ooh that free money.

KR took a nap and I ordered on Humana.  Then ordered this phone stand from eBay.  

I didn't eat much dinner, went to bed by 8

Short Work Thursday

 Kurt was over at Yeye's and I thought he would be late to work.  He was ONTIME and we started with a BANG.  It was really busy and then no more.  I had forgotten that Chuck was coming to tune up the computer, at 11, and we got done by 11 but I didn't start on the chart until then.

I also cleaned the bathroom, put the stuff together, toys, and found three more rolls of toilet paper, which Maribel said there was none.  Condensed the masks, etc, brought home the Christmas left over clothes to give away.  I posted everything when I got home and some got picked up already.

Kurt went to Flame Boiler and then took a nap.  He went over to Yeye's about 4 30 and we went down to the beach to walk Gracie.  She did not get a walk this morning.  KR went surfing at the Bay and didn't get home until after I did.

We had light dinner and went to bed, early again.  

Raining Wednesday

 It started raining last night about 1 am and was still raining this morning.  Though not enough rain happened, the rain barrels were not full.  We got a squirrel and Gracie was just too excited to go walking, so we dropped off lettuce for Nyssa and then bought chicken food and walked Gracie to Hickory and stayed home.  Kurt went off to Yeye's by 8 am.  He forgot the vape in his room and I told him he can have it if he left by 7 45.  He did

I 'washed' my car with the rain water and added windshield fluid.  KR tried to pop his hood and it is having a little issue to add fluid too to his car.  It finally popped open.  I submitted Payroll after I finished my car, 

I read most afternoon finished the Membership book, and KR took a nap.

We had dinner, very light stuff and listened to Jeff Gill and went to bed.

Work/No Work and KR golfing with Jon

 So we were up early and as I had to work at 9, we both drove down there and walked the dog and I went to work.  As I was pulling up, Ramona my only patient today text and said she forgot.  I have done that before so I just rescheduled her and drove to VFW, in Lomita, but the guy who answered the phone said they didn't take use clothes, so I went to the 99 cent store and bought some juice. 

KR had already left to go golfing with Jon Remy at Terranea.  Jon thought he had a coupon but his ex girlfriend used it in 2017.  So they had to pay more.  

AND THEN the fun started.  They played 9 holes, and ate and drank.  KR's BAC at 4 20 was .06.  Jon says he will come  up and play once a month.  I  am so glad I encouraged him to  play  golf.

I had the WHOLE day to myself.  Kurt was working at the Lawndale clinic.   7  45 - 1, 2 - 5.  I paid him  $105 for the day.  He got home about 5 15 and he was TIRED, but said the work was rewarding.  So glad I pushed him to go.

I also went to Farmers Market by myself and got about 28 heads of lettuce, baby romaine and green leaf, plus daikon and beets.  I rode around to deliver all kinds of vegetables.  What a blessing.  Also Daynah had a bunch of TUSD food that they didn't want.  I took them all home.

KR went to bed by 7 15.  He was tired.  It was REALLY windy today.  I went to bed by 8 30.  I should say he kind of passed out.

My 62nd Birthday

 So it dawns bright.  KR made me a very nice card and cut some flowers from the yard.  He has Zoom with Chris Cannon and gang.  I clean the kitchen as Diane is coming to visit.  We go walk the dog after the meeting.  Then he goes and gets his tire fixed at American Tires.

Cindy and Tony came by with a pop up card and cookies in heart shape.

Diane comes and we go to Hook & Plow down in the Village for lunch,  Man she is a slow driver, kind of like Violet.  We had great food, I had ahi sandwich and she had steak sandwich and salad and I had clam chowder soup.  She brought me TWO presents: nice serving plate with a bee on it and coffee press.

We came home and Kurt had his card ready, and some FEEDER FISH for my chickens.  He went to Petco to buy them and we fed the chickens.  Honey and Buffy would grab them out of the water and Yellow Feet and PC would try to get it away from which ever hen had it.  It was great fun.  Mary Eileen came with a lovely card and some flowers and grubs for the chickens and I gave her eggs.  

Violet came with some cake but dad stormed out of her car and started walking home,  She thinks he is mad that he didn't know it was my birthday and he didn't have a present for meee  He would not go to dinner with us, so KR Kurt and I went to Denny's for dinner.  The usual GRAND SLAM and they had burgers. 

It was a great birthday.  GOD IS GOOD 

Tyler and Will did not contact me. 

My 62nd Birthday

 KR wrote me this really cute card, all about my fabulous fanny.  

Sunday Kurt visits with Corrina AND FLAT TIRE

 We were up early, I did the sheets and KR went surfing.  Kurt didn't want to go to church but went anyway.  We picked up Violet and Yeye and then tried stopped for Subway sandwiches after church.  Even though online says they take EBT when we ordered, we could NOT pay with EBT.  Must call later to see what is up.

We went back to pick up the sandwiches and had a FLAT TIRE.  We called Bill and he and Elaine picked us up.  We had our membership meeting, with some sandwiches left.  Most people don't eat, but we ate away.  Afterward, Kurt and Corrina went to help him, and they made more Jugger tools in the garage.  

We walked Gracie up at PV after I rode around the alleys.  It was pretty good surf.  Mike Gooch had called KR. 

We had left over, plus freshly made beef stew, still hot, from Sarah.  WOWOwo  We listened to Pastor Thrash and went to bed.

Courtney also msg KR that Tyler 'messed up' Erin again and that she is afraid that Tyler is coming to mess her up.  Tyler called and said he is out of gas, but KR refused to give him any money.  He said they did get in a fight but Erin was fighting him or something like that.  I pray that he does not get arrested and goes to jail a long time because he cannot keep his emotions at bay.  I wonder if he called Mark.  If he wants too be known as an Estrada, he should call the Estradas for help.

So sad.  I don't believe I will hear from him tomorrow. 

Making Jugger tools Saturday

 We get up early and KR tries to surf.  I did a load of laundry and Kurt finally hung them out.  He didn't get up until like 8 or 9, which is like 15 hours of sleep

They go to farmers market and we get 25 fennel bulbs and 10 cauliflower and 2 cabbage.  Kurt spends 85 dollars on Home Depot stuff to make Jugger tools with, I told him to wait for me to ask for things, but he would not.  I rode all around to give away fennel and cauliflower.

KR takes a nap.  I went to 99 cent store but no guava juice, no Jumex of any kind weird.

Kurt spends most afternoon making Jugger tools. 

Jon Liu came by for some vegetables and some conversation.  We had left over for dinner and went to bed.  Sarah also gave us a lot of food today, from mini sliders to tofu to soup.  We are her regular garbage disposal. 

Easy Friday

 KR and I walked Gracie down at the beach.  He then went to hit some balls at Alondra as he is playing golf with JR   I tried making an appt with CoastOrtho but their phone was on the blink and I sent a msg.  Guess will have to talk to Gaby next week.  It was NOT meant to be yet.

KR and Kurt then went to plant a tree at Mom's and ran into Lynn Friend who was telling them we CANNOT plant a tree into the ground, etc.  What a nasty busy body.

I went to the pool and had a GREAT WALK ABOUT for 40 minutes in the pool  There is a limit of 4 or 5 people for 45 min each.  Why no one knows, it was 12, but now says just 5.  Most people were mad

Then KR and Kurt transplanted part of the big staghorn fern into little pieces.  Kurt wanted to put them at various trees.  He can be so weird.

I answered many of the questions for the Membership Book.

KR and I went down to Goodwill and bought Kurt some scrub pants.  KR wanted some swim suits and they didn't have any.

Kurt has been asleep since 4 pm and refuse to get up, except to ask at 8 30 if he should get up to go to Jun Soo for a little get together, I said just sleep

WORKING WITH KURT HAHAHAHA

 So I woke up Kurt at 6 and said if you are going to shower, better get to it.  He showed up at office a few minutes after I did.  Well, it started off with a bang, then many didn't show up.  Kurt was doing sterilization, and stocking and cleaning.  He actually helped me with one patient, doing three fillings, 12, 13 DO and O on 19.  I forgot to do the DO on 21 at the same time.

I left at 1 and he was whinging about me leaving and him having to work until 2 or 3  I bought everyone pizza, Papa John and it was Kim's last day.  She is going to working in Carson.  Dr Sata is trying out two people next week.

I ate some pizza when I got home and I was really tired.  I tried laying down with KR for a nap. He had one because he drank TWO beers and by 5 pm was still at .06.  I didn't sleep, but by 8 pm I was poop and was asleep in no time

Office meeting Wednesday PLUS NICE RAIN

 We got up pretty early.  KR went to check out more fruit trees.  We had office meeting 9 - 10 then we talked about a case that is pretty complicated 16 year old for maybe half hour.  Dr Sata is going to try out several dental assistants next week.  I was hoping Kurt would be able to work for several weeks.  At least he is coming tomorrow, 6 45 - 3 or 3 30

Ian came over for lunch.  KR cooked a big steak but Ian had Sarah's beef stew with KR's cooked mashed potatoes.  It w as nice  seeing him.

Ryan Ghanian  came over  to see  Kurt.  He  got into a Chicago  medical school, can't remember which, and will be starting in August.  He is getting a DO degree, I think, in Chicago too.

KR bought a tree from a nursery on Sepulveda, near Wilmington. 

IT RAINED MOST DAY TODAY and there was a very nice rainbow towards the YMCA.  We had some left over.  I was so full from lunch I didn't eat any dinner but a little of the stir fried arugula I cooked tonight.  KURT is ready for work tomorrow.  HAHAHAHAHA

I was tired and went to bed early

Working Tuesday

I had a dream that someone was shooting at me with a water gun, and I told on his mom, and was waiting for the mom to come and it was a black kid.  Weird.

KR walked Gracie and I went to work.  8 - 10:15.  First Ian Brubaker, then DiNesha and then Xylus.  I went to the Farmers Market and Kurt went to Livescan and Provident for his TB test. They also picked up YMCA food.

KR went diving, but didn't get any fish.

He took a nap.  I delivered arugula.  I chopped fennel.  I made a tabuli salad.  We went to Armstrong to look for fruit trees and did not find anything we liked.  Or better yet, KR liked, he wants a plum tree, NOT just any, a very nice one !!!

We read some Membership  books and went to bed.

Still no email from Will Weston about the working relationship.

Monday

 KR got up early, as usual, and I actually got up before 6 am.  He had ZOOM with the gang and we walked Gracie to the park.  Andrea and Maribel came, and KR went and got the swarm trap that was not doing anything.  Mimi text that her tooth is bothering her a little, so she is going to switch schedule with Kurt and come and see me this Thursday. 

Megha said that it will be great for Kurt  to volunteer at the  office and Marc will send out the volunteer packet.  Kurt will start this Thursday, and either KR or I will fill in over there at Yeye's when Kurt is at the office.  This should go on until office finds a replacement for Kim.  I told them I will pay Kurt's salary when he is at the clinic.

The volunteer packet says he needs Livescan and TB test.  Plus a lot of paperwork to be submitted.  I printed everything out.  KR went to Home Depot to look for trees.  NO GO

We listened to Pastor Thrash sermon and and  read a little of the Membership books before going to bed.
