Easy Friday KR to Rosie's with Gracie

 I had to pee at 10 30, then 12 45, then 3 50 and I drank at least 6 oz of water at 3 50 am, trying to see if that would help the headaches I have been waking up with.  Well, I didn't have a headache this morning.  KR tried to go surfing, and no go so he took Gracie to Rosie's and I stayed home and walked and did chores, like cleaning the kitchen.

When they got back, Gracie was so out of sort.  I gave her a carprofen, but she kept wondering around, and whining and like she was in pain.  I think she was really sore from running at the beach when she has not been there for over two months.  She finally laid down and took a nap.

Kurt didn't get up until double digit.  He started working on his jugger stuff.

KR also picked lemons and more tangerines from rental house, and I listed them on FB.  All the lemons got picked up and there is still half a bucket of tangerines left.

Jun Soo came by to help Kurt with Jugger tools this afternoon.  Nice to have someone around for him to 'play' with.

I sat outside for about an hour working on my tan and listening to a Spencer novel.

The girls gave me four eggs.  Yesterday they laid FIVE, I think Honey laid two.

KR had seafood rice Violet made.  She brought food over at lunch.

I got the schedule fixed for May.

I managed, again, to take a shower by myself.  I went to bed before KR.

NO WORK Thursday

 I woke up with a headache again.

I slept 7 hours, and a little better sleep score.

KR went to meet Megha and she is working for Bill today and tomorrow.  She and her brother are thinking of getting an office together.  I think that would be a great idea, although losing her at the clinic is beyond my thoughts.

KR finished weeding under the fig tree.  Kurt worked on his jugger stuff and I sat outside for an hour.

This morning I walked .2 miles at 39 min per mile.  HAHAHAHA  SO SLOW

Then I did it again even slower this afternoon.  KR took a nap and then went to Mary's to do some air layering.

Maribel called this morning and wants me to cover for Megha and Monica this July.  I said sure.

I managed to take my own shower, slowly.  I also took several walks, mostly to the corner of Fonthill and back.  Pretty tired after each walk.  

We had left over for dinner.  Still so so much food.  

I went to bed before KR.  Slept better than last night.  

Wednesday

 So I am not sleeping too well still. KR goes to work and I of course just putter around.  I did sit outside for about an hour.  Might as well try to get a tan while I am at it.  The pain is not bad, the muscle spasms are abating, but the headache when I get up in the morning is still around.

What is up with that?

We get more food.  Stuffed bell peppers from Joann was amazing.  And cookies and salad and fresh Mexican bread.  Boy she can cook.

KR comes back late,  Bill Philips was his last patient.  Guess he needs his teeth cleaned and checked before he goes in for stem cell?

Kurt putters around and does not much.

I managed to take a shower and wash my hair ALL MY MYSELF before crashing to bed.  According to Fitbit, I slept 6 hours and 45 min poorly. 

Tuesday - ONE FULL WEEK SINCE HIP HIP HIP

 So I still can't sleep well.  Got up about 5 30 and finally just got up.  KR went to work and I sat around.  Did some computer stuff and Michael and Patty came to visit about 11 30 and brought guacamole, oranges, flowers, nut loaf, and some very good bread.  I was pretty tired when they left.

KR came home about 2 as the endodontist was there in the afternoon.  Megha called me and she is offering to work there at Bill's Thursday and Fridays, 750 dollars each day.  Good for her.  I told her not to take any less.

KR and I tried napping.  I slept maybe half hour, 3 - 3 30 and he maybe 3 - 4.

Charity and Nyssa brought me so much food.  Charity came to pick up the Nordic Track, that I don't thonk I can use.  Tricia Watts came to get some worms and brought us mulberry from her mom's trees and I had Kurt drive them to Sarah Phan.  She absolutely LOVED them.  They are a little different than ours.  Giants ones, but the 'kernels' are tighter, and fruit a little sweeter.  Sarah now wants us to get her a tree from Tricia

Kurt and KR both had the shrimp linguini and salad and I went to bed by 8 30

Tomorrow KR has to work, and Bill is coming to see him to get dental clearance before his stem cell transplant.

NEW week Monday 4/26/2021

 So I had to get up THREE times to pee last night and just could not get comfortable.  Thought I would be more pain free by now, as the impr0vement was pretty good from Wednesday to Friday, and now seems to plateau !!!!!!!

KR got on Zoom but Chris did not.join.  I thanked the folks for the prayers.  Andrea and Maribel came to clean about 9 10 and was cone about 9 50.  I stayed upstairs when they were downstairs and moved down when they were done.  

 Mary-Eileen came by and brought me sushi and pizza for KR.  She is such a love.  We had a wonderful lunch.  We took a nap.  I slept about an hour; then had to pee.  I was pretty tired.  I didn't get much sleep last night

Kurt came by and Violet said the traffic was really bad so she was late.  

Tessa came by and borrowed the wheel chair for Chris.

I cooked steak and rice for dinner, with left over vegetables.  Kurt KR and I had a nice dinnerl

I quit drinking water at 6 and peed in the shower and still got up at 10 45 and then 12 45 to pee.  Must figure out how to pee less.  I also had to get ice, guess I wish I can wake KR up for ice.

No church for me Sunday

 So we have had more visitors in the last week than the last year !!!

Mike and Carole, Bill Johnson (twice) and Tom J, Rocky, Jeff Petty, Denise, Nancy M, Sarah and Royale, and Dan Parkins.

We were up fairly early.  After a little gymnastics, KR took Kurt to church.  Yeye didn't wanna go.  I was not up to going.  Had some weird upper back right side muscle spasms that lasted a few hours.  Royale came by and dropped off Sarah's birthday food.  Chow Mein and egg rolls, two different types.  

Denise came with Gaia and she started howling when they turn onto Maple.  Gracie had a love fest of course.

Jeff Petty came by to pick up the tires that I got from Gina, off of BNT but figured out that Jeff cant use them.  FIVE nugnuts instead of 6.  But he took them any way.

Seems like every visitor I ask, "are you vaccinated?"  And if they are, no mask required.

I like my new Fitbit Versa 3 very much.

We both took a nap.  I tried sleeping, cannot.  My leg was just tired and felt like swelling.

Only took some Tylenol today.  The incision site not bad, the piriformis muscle more painful than the incision.  I iced a lot.  

GOOD NEWS  I can now walk without the walker, and can actually walk a little without even the cane.  I think things are healing.

KR cooked a  yummy steak and I had a few bite, mostly the broccoli we got from FM.  I should be able to poop really well.  We went to bed about 8 30 after reading a few days of ODB

KR surfing Saturday

 We both got up about 6.  My head is still a little fuzzy, kind of like i have a caffeine withdraw but I have not been  Had KR start the sheets.  Will see if I can hang them.  He left to go surfing, suppose to be big hahah  I got upstairs by myself with the cane.  Had to poop.  He came back pretty quickly and said it was bunk.  There are some swells but it came so infrequently, it was not worth staying.  He showed  me pictures of Malibu, so so many in the water and not a wave to be seen.

KR went to the farmers market and bought ANOTHER persimmon tree.  Yup, the other one died again, by the kumquat tree.  He is thinking of putting it in the back yard by the guava tree.  We order Ragin Cajun food for lunch  We had a 50 dollar gift cert that we used.  We had the jumbo shrimp with fries and corn bread, plus bisque, and the shrimp etouffee.  Both were good.  Plus bread and butter.

After lunch Kurt came by and took the fries and took a look at the new tree.  I had fallen asleep before KR went to get the food and then after we ate, I could not sleep.  I just laid down a bit.  The weather high is 63 and low 54

I am only taking Tylenol, plus the 81 aspirin morning and night.  No more norco or any of that opioids.  I can get up and down stairs with just the cane and the railing now.  But have these random shooting pains.

KR weeded for several hours in the serenity garden and I tried to clean broccoli,  We got alot and my hip got really sore.  I ate broccoli for dinner and took a shower and was in bed by 8

Then Gracie got on the bed about 9 15 and sat on my not injured leg and woke me up.

 

Better Friday

 AHHh, just a little diarrhea this morning.  I am feeling better.  The back pain is going away, if I just not lay in bed so much   I was hungry had a banana and a cup of coffee.  Weird thing is my nasal trip and coughing completely went away the three days of surgery.  Today is still pretty good.

The blue birds are making a nest outside in the bird box KR made.  They are so so fun to look at.

We got a plant from Bill Philips today, Desert Bowl with succulents, very nice.  KR took the hydrangea over to Yeye's and will have them plant it.  Beautiful purple color.  He also brought the mum over.

Bill and Tom J came over and talked a bit about KHC and how they are asking for money.  We did NOT get that email.  I walked around in the walker and got pretty tired.  Ate some tabouli with chicken and took a nap at noon, so did KR.  I slept HARD for an hour and he was down for at least one and half.  

Adele came to visit at 2.  So so nice to see her.

Did not take any meds except diclofenec 50 Hmmm  Maybe I should stick to Tylenol.  ALso on 81 mg aspirin daily to prevent clot.  I did a lot of the exercises in RecoveryCoach app, like sliding your heel back and forth, etc.  

I was hungry at 3 so I ate more tabouli and a little chicken

KR weed whacked the yard and then Marianne text me to give Jackie her terrier a shot, I had forgotten all about it.  They came by at 6 30 and KR did it and I just watched from the door.  They will be back in 2 weeks and I hope I can do it.

I went to bed by 8 30 and KR didn't come until 9 30.  We with Gracie slept in the big bed.  It was ok, Gracie did not lay on me too much.  It is much better in the other bed and my back did not hurt much.  Iced all night and did not eat banana during the night.

THURSDAY THE EXPLOSION

 Since I have not pooped for over two hours, I asked KR to go to Ralphs for some prune juice.  I drank a glass, and then waited four hours, NOTHING, so I drank another glass.  Well, that was a mistake.

EXPLOSION

I had cramps and diarrhea so bad all afternoon.

Nancy mustard came to visit.

Sarah Phan came to visit.

Maribel and aTracy dropped off a bunch of yummy food from Smart and Final.  Chicken broth, and soups and crackers and all kinds of stuff.

KR made marmalade jam with all the kumquats from Chuck brought plus some of hours. 

Margarita and Guillermo brought food from the Green Temple and KR had it for Dinner,  Dan Parkins came with food from Chicken Maison.  He laid hands on me and prayed over me.  THAT FELT so so good.

I had mild diarrhea in the evening too, but the sleep was better as I was up for a few hours and tried to walk  so my back is not too sore from laying around.

I tried and ate some tabouli salad and chicken,  Still no appetite.  

But slept pretty well in Sarah's room.  got hungry in the middle of the night and ate a banana

Wednesday FIRST day post op

 I was so so queasy and my back started hurting from laying down so long.  I took a 5 Norco last night when my hip started whinging.  Then 2 30 AM tramadol.  This morning I took a 50 diclofenec plus Senna every 12 hours and the aspirin I am suppose to take.  I also took 9 30 norco today.  Then 8 30 am diclofenec.  

All stopped up, and no poop.

I tried getting up but was so so queasy and nauseous.  Did not want to eat.  Made myself eat

I went between our bed and Kurt's bed and Sarah's bed just trying to get comfortable.

Mike and Carole brought over a beautiful basket of Trader Joe stuff and food from Rascals.  I ate very little

I weight myself, the implants suppose to weight between 1 - 5 pounds.  I am at 115  How is that possible as I didn't eat for three days. 

KR made chicken soup.  I had a bowl, but could not stomach much

I went to bed pretty uncomfortable.  Tried to walk.  

MY HIP SURGERY

 Tuesday, Weed day 4/20/2021

I was up about 5 15 and we got through with 'business' and I showered with the cholohexidine soap and dried with a new towel and we were in the hospital by 6 30.  Gaby had called and wanted me there earlier.  Ends up, Dr Shrader had two operating rooms going and I think he didn't want to come out to talk to me so had me there early so he can just operate on me after his first surgery at 7 30

I spoke with the anesthesiologist, Dr Brennan about my post op issues.  He said he would go 'light'.

They wheeled me in at 8 45 and started the spinal.  I was out. in no time flat

The first thing I remembered was flexing my right arm when I came through.  I could not feel anything below the waist.  No wriggling of the toes, no nothing.  I came out about 10 50 and by 2 pm I could start ti feel my toes.  I was also extremely cold I remember my arms flapping around and they put warm blankets around me.

So I laid around a bit and they got me to Room 6108.  I asked about going home.  KR came about 2 pm, and I thought I asked him to come, he said they Shrader told him that someone will call at the hospital to tell him he can come.  The visiting hours were 12 - 6.  We ordered lunch, steak and vege with vege soup and yogurt,.  I was not hungry.  More queasy than anything else.

Jason the PT nurse came, and I walked down the hallway and up a flight then down a flight of stairs.  My blood pressure was low, so they wanted to keep me but I struggled to get them to release me.

They did.  I threw up in the driveway.  I was so so queasy.  I felt terrible.

Got the ice packs and went to bed.  They gave me a 10 oxy before I left but i am sure that ended up under the fig tree.  They also gave me 15 mg of toradol, but that was IV.  

I went to sleep in Sarah's room with a bunch of ice packs.

THE day before

 Dawn comes and KR went over tot he other room as Gracie kept him awake, either too hot or just no room.  We stop by Mikes to look at bees, then to rental house, no bees, then to Mary D for toilet seat and walking Gracie at Veteran's Park.  Several squirrels.

KR does some yard work. I talk to ATT and pay the Blue Shield bill.  I thought I had paid, but did not click pay, so I did.  Did a bunch of paperwork for the surgery tomorrow.  Had left over lunch of beet soup and other stuff.  

Packed my stuff for tomorrow.  Took a shower with the soap they gave me before going to bed.  Slpet pretty good

HOT and SUNNY SUNDAY

 I could not get up, finally after 10 hours of sleep, I was up.  I did a load of laundry, our sheets, and we walked Gracie at the beach.  KR went to Sarah's and planted a mulberry tree, except the root ball didn't all come out, so he hopes the tree won't die.  We have a backup in case it does.

We watched BOH sermon online, then I sat outside.  The sermon was on Revelation and it was confusing at best.  IT WAS 84 DEGREES TODAY It was really hot to sit outside.  I had to sit in the shade for a bit.  I had a long conversation with Jesse Brown.  He did not get the shot yet and Zoe does not want to.  I tried to convince him to get it.

KR got three swarms of bees today.  He had to give one to John.  Someone called him about bees too and he ran out of nukes or boxes so no more here.

Joanne brought over some scones.  Man we are going to get fat.

I rode around in the alley and got another yoga mat.

Ate some of Sarah's ribs and went to bed by 8

Vax Clinic Saturday

 We get up early and walk the dog to the park.  We drive to Lincoln Park, New Life Community Church for vax.  It was like last time, although this time better organized.  Ann the ER doc that was there two weeks ago was there overseeing everything.  We started at 10 and it got busy right away.  KR and I shot a bunch of people.

We had Chik-fil-A for lunch and we trained the afternoon volunteers, a new MD and a DDS from USC that has never done IM before.  She asked if we feel for the acromion process and I said Heck no.  So we drove directly to Sameday Testing, off of PCH and Pearl.  She swabbed my nose and we went home. 

The result came the following morning, less than 18 hours later.

We got home and were pretty tired.  Got food from Sarah and we had left over from Chinese food anyway.

We were in bed by 9

Easy Friday

 So KR went to work and I did a load of laundry.  Kurt of course did not get up until double digit.  I sat outside for about an hour too working on my tan.  

For lunch for KR i heated up the meat Sarah had cooked and brought it down there with rice and salad from last nights left over.  We walked Gracie a little.  My hip was pretty sore.

We saw Chris Cannon on our lunch break.

I rode around the alleys and found another pullup bar and two yoga mats.  Now I just have to find homes for them.  I also returned Terri's toilet riser.  It is for a ROUND and we have an oblong.  oh dang

Marilyn Long also dropped off the prayer shawl for me with a card and a little chocolate and the ODB devotional.  Wow, such nice people.  We left BOL in 2003 !!  What a church.

We had dinner at Yeye's house.  Violet made kimchi seafood soup, so good.  We bought kon pao chicken, gailan beef, and eggplant.  KR was driving me nuts he had to water the yard, and then drink his wine, and then beer.  We were suppose to be at Yeye at 6 15 but we were late.  Then he says grace, mentioning Gon Gon instead of Yeye.  Oy Vey

We were in bed by 8 20.

HAHAHA No working Thursday

 So weird not to have to go to work Thursday.  KR is better today.  AND he went to work.  I slept in until 6 30.  Picked up some yummy food from Sarah.  Gave her the cutting board from Nick.  Talked to Megha about Melissa.  KR went to work and I got gas and then got the car washed !!!  Then came home and took everything out and then cleaned my car.  It would be ready for me after hip surgery to be nice and clean.,

It took me hours though on my car.

I also watered the lawn.  Had a nice talk with Megha about Melissa , our new assistant and her working hours.

Kurt was home all day.  Carrina came to visit for a little bit, before her vax in Long Beach.  

We went out to eat with Mike and Carole at Chicken Maison.  It was so fun to be inside with them.  We also saw Tony F picking up food there. 

KR was exhausted.  We got home and a quick shower and he was out.  He didn't get up but ONCE to pee as he was so so tired.

WORKING WEDNESDAY

 I normally don't work Wednesdays, but since tomorrow is GA so Dr Sata asked if I would switch with her.  It was a killer day, and I had so many PITA's.  AND Melissa just can't seem to get the computer thing right,

Got there at 6 45 and we had Emily from West, Dr Arusha from Western, and everyone else.  I had almost an hour lunch, and got done about 6, trying to fix the dental chair in room 4, as a parent leaned into the chair and broke the cable that holds the chair in place.  We could not fix it

KR got mad at me when I told him that we have to quarantine, for the sixth time, when he wanted to know if we can go to dinner with John and Katherine on Saturday.  It is Katherine's birthday.

Kurt came home in the afternoon and went out to Torrance Tavern with Taylor, et al.

KR went to bed without saying anything.

Tomorrow will be a different day

WOW SIX patients Tuesday

 So both KR and I had to work.  I saw Guillermoo, Michelle and her two kids, Maverick and Everst, and Everst had SIX cavities !!!  Then it was Chris  Cannon and then short lunch and then Maggie Pagan.  KR had an easy day, Tuesdays are easy, he says and I had a cup of coffee at his office.  

There was a hummingbird inside the office.  Will also came into the office.  He looks pretty good.  I could not get the hummer out.

I got done at 2 and went to Flora's and picked up the grubs for the girls.  They loved the grubs.

I did a load of laundry.  It was a cold day with a little sprinkling of mist.  So I hung the stuff inside the house.  

KR came home early, about 5 and said it was kind of slow.  He got a phone call from a friend of a friend who is interested in buying a practice.  KR said he would give this guy Bill Philips' phone number.

Kurt is still over at Yeye's.

We went to bed early, by 9

Uneventful Monday

 I could not get up until almost 7 am.  THAT is almost 11 hours of sleep.  I think we actually went to bed by 8 last night.

KR says his arm is barely sore.  WOW, that man is amazing.  He went to work and I worked at home,  I got the trust transfer documents with check ready and mailed out.  I went to the office to see what Bill's place is like and met Anel and Debbie.  KR and I and Gracie had a short walk and lunch, for him only, at the beach.  I went to the ortho office to drop off paperwork.  I then went to 99 cent store and bought wine and beer and catchup.  I dropped off the catchup and chips for Kurt with fried chicken I bought from Ralphs as we had no milk and I stopped there on the way home.

I rode my bike to drop off the New Horizon HOA check.

My hip still hurts today.  Took 3 advil.  Tomorrow I am suppose to stop all NSAID.  We shall see.

Andrea and Maribel came today and the house looks so nice.

Chuck is getting solar panels today.

I was exhausted but because KR had a beer and a glass of wine, I had to drive to Jen's house to pick up the bees.  BUT Doug had opened the wrong end of the nuke and they were all outside the box trying to get in  We came home.  KR will go back tomorrow.

I went to bed early.  I was really tired.

Painful Sunday AND VAX FOR KR

 WELL !!!!!!!!

I did too much yesterday and my back is hurting today.  KR went surfing before church.  I took the van to Costco car wash and then put it away in the garage.  I cleaned out the inside when I wiped the residual water off of the car.  Looks nice.  I will have to get an oil change soon.  It has been about 4000 miles.

We went to church.  Even Yeye went.  Paul railed on about the OpEd pieces of LA Times Good Friday and Easter Sunday.  I think it was somewhat taken out of context.  KR took Gracie for a walk down the beach and got some beer from KH brewery, a growler full.

I got KR an appt at Cal State Los Angeles J n J vax.  We left about 5 pm and drove onto   Cal State LA campus.  I don't think I have ever been there.  E LA college is by mom's old house is a 2 year school and Cal State is a four year school.  Really large but on this Sunday afternoon hardly anyone around.

The vax site is being sponsored by FEMA so all the workers were army solders.  It didn't take long at all, being the last patients in the afternoon.  We had the latest appt, 5 50 even though we had to drive like a mile around the cones.  Wait was only about 5 minutes before KR was given the shot, and then another 15 minutes to wait and we were off.

Prior to coming I had scoped out a taco place called Guisado's in Boyle Heights  We ordered 12 tacos to go and brought them home to Kurt after picking up the dog.  Dad had eaten already and we had a great time chowing down.

I was worried that KR would have severe symptoms and I would have to work for him.  We went to bed by 9

KR to Vista and me exhausting day cleaning the garage

 We walked Gracie down the beach.  I had not been down there for a week as KR was working all week.  KR left for Vista and drove the van.  I started cleaning the garage.  It was so so exhausting.  I mopped everything,  vacuumed everything.  It was so tiring and my knee and hip hurt when I was done about 4 30.  It took that long.  I also did laundry and changed the sheets.  There was more blood by Gracie.

Kurt went to FM with me.  Not much good stuff.  I pickled some radish as i got one nice bunch and  thought why not.  Kurt took home a head of lettuce.  Should have gone at maybe 12 30 but Kurt says the  rabbit lady sometimes clean them out.

I finished the garage maybe around 4,  My hip is so so sore.  Took three advil

KR came home Bout 7 and had a great time.  He had lunch and dinner down there.

I washed my hair and went to bed by 8 15

Massage and laundry Friday

 I could not get up until about 6 30.  KR left for work after I made him a ham and cheese sandwich.  I think we got the black forest ham from Naby.  I did two loads of laundry and tried to sweep the floor and use Zoomba.

Nazareth came and I had the massage first, then Kurt.  I went to the pool and did a walk about.  The jacuzi is OPEN, yippppeeee.  I then went to 99 cent store and bought a bunch of stuff, coke for Kurt and salad stuff for us, etc.

KR came home about 6 and I cooked steak and earlier had cooked bacon.  We went to bed by 9 after reading some ODB

Kurt's last day of work

 Cant believe it is five weeks since Kurt started working for us.

I got to office by 6 45 and Kurt arrived by 7.  He also told us that he got $1400 stimulus check.  WOOOWWW

It started off slow and then was so so busy.  FAST and furious.  Kurt left at noon and I didn't leave u ntil 1 30, writing chart, etc.

I think Dr Sata should have hired Kurt, but....   Melissa is not the brightest bulb in the pack.

Millie Cheatham said her office needs a dental assistant.  I asked Kurt to get the x ray license.

I was really tired when I got home.  KR didn't come back until after 5.  Kurt left at 4 30 for Yeye and will be there until Wednesday afternoon.

He is gaming most nights.

KR had left over kalbi ribs and was in bed asleep by 9.  He is tired.

PRE OP Wednesday with Dr Shrader and Office Meeting

 So KR went to work and I had office meeting.  Kurt didn't want to get up so he text Dr Sata and didn't go in u ntil 11.  I also looked for a smart watch like the Garmin.  I ordered a new watch band.  Cannot decide if I want to pay top dollars for a new watch.  

I rode the bike to my preop with Dr Shrader.  He says it is all a go.  He took some x rays  I paid about 500 big ones.  And I finally rode home,  KR was home  I forgot he says he works Wednesdays 8 30 - 2 straight.  He was weeding the front and I told him what Dr Shrader said about no sex for SIX weeks  He was not very happy about that,

Violet came over and dropped off some curry she cooked,  She is going home tomorrow,  SHe loves the shoes I gave her,

Millie Cheatam is looking for a dental assistant.  I will ask Kurt if he wants some other temp work as he gets his xray license,  HAHA

We were in bed by almost 9 pm

 So i had a whole day gig for Dr Desai.  We walked the dog first to Hickory.  KR didn't start until 9  I did laundry and he hung it out.  It was a slow day, but picked up some BUT I still didn't have time for lunch.  Had to call Chantel at Western.  Bill said that he asked Western to do a email  blast to get him someone to help but Chantel didn't know anything of it and Michelle the director was not there yet.  She will ask tomorrow and get back to me.

Then I talked to Dean Furkioti and hoping that he can sub at Bill's.  I talked to Bill to figure out what he is willing to do.  I finally got of about 5 and was so hungry.  I ate the rest of the  blue fin from Jeff.  Took a shower.  Went to bed but could not sleep through.  Maybe because I did about 15 min of Nordic Track before bed, I didn't have to pee all night but I kept waking up, maybe thinking about the HIP REPLACEMENT COMING UP

Monday

 Not getting to this until Wednesday means I have to try to remember what I did.

Both boys went to work and it was nice to have the house to myself.

KR started at 8 30 and Kurt started at 8.  I walked Gracie to the park after everyone left.

I went up the hill to Dena's and got food.  Great I needed milk.  I went to Costco to get cat food and bird seeds, but they had NEITHER.

Weird  CHEWY had no Friskies Shred cat food EITHER ?????  Purina no cat food?  No bird seed?  I finally bought some pouches at Chewy for the cats.

I took dad to SouthBay Hearing aid center and they fitted him for some hearing aids.  It worked REALLY WELL, but he says he does not want to use them.  He likes them peaceful, and quiet.  Oh Boy.  The cheapest ones are about 4000, but they said if dad can try for a month and if he does not like it to return for full refund.

KR and Kurt came home and we had STEAK and SHRIMP.  Well, more like kolbi ribs and panko shrimp.  I boiled the ribs and baked the shrimp,  Also they had a boiled potato each and salad.  Kurt used my ebt card and bought some salad stuff.

We went to bed pretty early, but not KURT !!!

Resurrection Sunday

 We were up at 6 to go to the sunrise service down at the beach KHC and it was very nice.  Jason always speak so well, and today he was exceptional.  Mary didn't come.  Maybe first time in 10 years?  Kurt didn't come either  Sleeping in.

We came home and walked the dog to the park and then went to BOH.  Yeye and violet didn't come.  She said he had diarrhea so they stayed home.  I was still really tired during church for some reason.

We puttered around the home, as both boys have to work full time this week.

I dropped off jam at Joann's and went to Walmart to check out the fitbit watch.  Can buy with the BlueCross OTC money.  Maybe.

Lovely is still on vacation at Ali Mountain.  They took the little train to see the sunrise too.

We went to bed pretty early, at least me and KR did.

VAX SATURDAY - 4/3/2021

 So we get up kind of early.  Actually I could not get up.  Going to bed at 10 last night, I was still tired.  We got to Maravilla community center about 9 and Jeff Yamane was there already.  Louie and Barbara Rosada also showed up.  It was not as busy as last week, and I was just so exhausted.  I don't know why.  My eye was still swollen a bit, and KR drove.

We had Chik Fil-A for lunch, and I brought one home for Kurt.  He said I should have brought more.  I was so tired that I asked Evelyn the medical director if we can leave early.  So we left about 3 30.  As soon as we got home, I peed and went to bed and slept for an hour.

I am still tired.

Kurt was asleep when we got home.  He went to the FM but got very little, just some strawberries and three onions.

We ate a little dinner and went to bed.

Easter Sunday tomorrow

GOOD FRIDAY Two services, KHC & SBCC

 KR went to work and I stayed home and paid the bills etc and donations.  I forgot the phone bill last month.  Have to call to have the service fee waived.  Kurt didn't wake up til late.  He weed whacked.  Worked on his Jugger Tools and went to the KHC service with me at 4.  I asked him to go to SBCC but he said he was going to Taylor's and said he would go to KHC so I tried to register but it was full, so I called church but Chelsea did not pick up, so I called Carole and Chelsea was there and got me and Kurt in.

It was not full, I guess some that registered didn't show up.

KR came home about 5 30 said the compressor quit and they got a loaner so he did mostly exams today. 

I spoke with Anel who worked for Bill and I guess the other doctor, Dr Lontoc only wants to work Mondays and Thursdays, so maybe KR would work one or one and half day long term.  Dr Phillip is going to call Jeff Yamane, maybe he can help one day a week.  

We went to SBCC service and it was great.  I miss them.  FULL 1.5 hours.  VERY upbeat

Working Thursday

Today's is KR's first day of full day of work at Bill's.  Starting at 8 30 - 5 pm

 Got to office by 6 45, only one patient at 7, so Kurt asked if he can show up at 7 45 I said sure.  It was a good day of work, not too bad, except for one whingy kid.  We cleaned out the shed, and put out a bunch of stuff that was not working at the trash.  Threw out all the air purifier boxes and generally cleaned a bunch of stuff.  We put the gauze that was in the shed in the microwave and then stored them away.

Kurt left at 12 15 and went to see dad.  They had lunch together.  Kurt ate Chik-fil-A

I puttered around in the afternoon, went for a ride.

KR came home pretty tired, and we went to bed, him first.

He has another long day tomorrow
