Sunday BOH day

 We were up early, and I had a weird dream about going down a chute that was narrow at the end to get somewhere.

We went to Boundary road for a walk and did 3.5 miles !!!

Kurt left at 6 30 for a day of COVID testing again.  Said he did mostly testing today, and not iPad imput.  Thinks he rather sit and do iPad.  Hopefully he gets more job like this.

KR has meeting at church to be an usher and I kenneled Angel and went to Numero Uno for some food.  Somehow Mom got 200 plus dollars of EBT after months of not getting anything other than 20 dollars.  Dad got 95 dollars more and then it will be 221 dollars every month on the 10th.

KR took Angel to the beah and I went for a run, of 2.66 miles at almost 14 min per mile pace.  VERY SLOW

I cooked pork ribs and Kurt had a plate and was in bed recovering.  Said it was tiring doing vax all day.

KR went to bed by 8 and I went to bed waiting for Lovely to call me to talk to mom.  I also did some weights.

Tomorrow is a long day of work at Roger's.  Maybe the last day

Chadwick Canyon

 I got woken up by KR and then we went up to Chadwick Canyon for a walk.  It was cold and cold but a very nice walk, EXCEPT when Angel knocked me over.  She crashed into my right knee and I was FLAT on my stomach, in a flash.

My knee bruised a little and got up and walked up to school  They had the play last night in the amphi-theatre and it must have been cold cold and cold  We picked up two cookies, a program and came down the hill.  

We got home and did the laundry and they went to the FM didn't get anything.  Just a few strawberries.

Kurt went out with Corrina and I biked 8.7 miles.  KR took a nap

We listened to SBCC and the message was very good.  How can we be sure the BIBLE is the real deal?

Corrina and Kurt came home for DND and we went to the jacuzzi and then to bed.

Easy Friday

 So Roger sold the office

And this lady has several clinics already and is buying another,.  I think she is turning it into a clinic

We went walking at the beach.  KR is much more pleasant today

Then it was laundry and buying the adventure pass and lunch and cleaning and trying to figure out where I am going to work

My new headphones came and I am mailing one to Lovely.

I had a bike ride of 6.3 ,moi;es/

We had left over for dinner

I am rescheduling everyone from Wednesday to Monday, which is still February.  OH MAN

Working THURSDAY

 So I did not need to get to the office until 8  Although the schedule was not busy, we didn't get done until AFTER ONE PM

Oh man

And also we decided that they will pay me maybe two hours of sick hours per week, so I don't have to take a day off a month to make up for the 72 hours that Marjorie said I had to use by the end of the year.  

That translate to over FIVE THOUSAND dollars of sick hours. 

I am sure I will take a vacation day sometime this year too, so that is six hours.

SWEET

The "I like dentist" kid was in today, and he grew some and says he likes Dr V better,  He was sweet

KR was asleep when I got home  TWO SHOTS OF TEQUILA LATER

I started telling him about my day and he fell asleep he says no and I went for a ride and he ended up being mad at me for the rest of the afternoon.  I ran into him as he was pulling out to walk Angel and we walked the Fire Trail in silence

Then I had a hard time falling asleep and staying asleep and had a little tummy ache

Relaxing Wednesday

 SUCH a nice day not to work.

It was so so cold, the heater went back on again.  We went to drop off bees and walked the Boundary road with Angel.

Stopped at Trader Joe for lunch meat.  Came home and did paper work, etc.  KR still didn't get his SS and talked to Shirley Torres.

He took a nap and I went for a short ride.  

We had salad for dinner.  I got chicken discounted of course from Ralphs  Plus free oatrmilk for Violet  We had a nice chat

I went to bed and could not sleep.  Hip  was a little whingy

WORKING TUESDAY

 So Dr Desai had something going on  so I went to work for her all day

THANK good ness it was slow.  Lots of cancelation.  I went for a four mile run too at lunch and ate my dumplings.  Dr V from Western is doing ok.  Melissa is great.  Maribel was out and Yvonne spends a lot of time up front

Got home about 6 and KR DID NOT HAVE DINNER READY  
WHAT IS UP

I had left over and I was tired and went to bed earluy

Working Monday

 So KR had zoom with the guys and I left for work at 9 25.  Tim Byer was my first patient, and I think he needs a RCT on 30  He did not want to see the specialist I recommended.  WHY DID HE BOTHER TO COME AND SEE ME?

He said he would go see his regular dentist downtown LA

GO

Then it was fast and furious.  I worked from 8 30 - 2 pm  I was really tired,

Went for a short bike ride and KR text me to go walk Fire Trail.

It was a cold and windy day.  Light sprinkles this morning too.  Tomorrow will be very windy.

Sunday BOH

 We walked Angel at the Boundary Road, and did a pumpkin bowl.  Then it was church.

Kurt left at 6 30 for the cruise line terminal and was one of about 40 that was doing COVID testing.  He said he only did about 4 swabs before he was assigned to the iPad name entering job.  He didn't have to be on his feet but he said his butt hurt from sitting.  BUT HE DID MAKE THREE HUNDRED BUCKS !!!

We had a small emergency at church.  One girl, 21 years old had an epileptic attack and the paramedics took her away.  

KR cooked lobster bisque.  He had what is equivalent to a whole bottle of wine today.  3/4 of the pinot for the bisque and some champagne that Denise brought.  I cooked the filet mignon and the gorgonzola sauce and made the salad.  We also had rice and Denise made lemon bars.  We had such a good time.

Then I took a shower, washed my hair and got ready for work and went to bed.  Dishwasher running

I got 8 hours and 53 min of sleep !!!!  

Saturday SBCC

 We went to the beach to walk Angel.   Two miles total

I didn't get up until late.  I was tired from last night.

I did laundry, change the sheets and washed Angel's bedding.  KR weeded the front, and went to FM.,  Didn't get any vege to eat except one tomato.

He went for a nap and I went for a ride, first to Sprouts for steaks, then to Trader Joe for white wine and cheese.  The ride was 8.38 miles.  KR is making lobster bisque for dinner with Denise tomorrow.

I then went for a run, two miles at 12 17 per mile. 

He then took Angel to Fire Trail.  I w as too tired to go

We went to SBCC as Kurt has to work tomorrow.  I like that church.  The topic was WHAT NOW?

Came home and was in bed early

Switzer Canyon What a HIKE !!!

 We had decided to go to Switzer Canyon waterfall area for a hike today.  I had read in the paper, Los Angeles Times had recommended it for those that were  coming into LA for Superbowl as a fun side trip.

We finally convinced Kurt to go, hence we didn't leave until 9 am.  Got there about 10 30 and it was cool and we started hiking,.

It was a beautiful hike.  Many stream crossings and I got my one shoe wet.  Some boulder hopping and Angel was on the leash as there were many poison oak plants all around.  We got to the water fall and KR and Kurt went swimming.  It was so so cold that I didn't even get my feet wet.  Angel was just beside herself trying to get to KR and got her face bloodied.  

We hiked out and went to Glendale for lunch.,  I had wanted to eat at Raffi's but we could not find street parking to let us keep the dog so we went to Porto's for a sandwich, and smoothies.  There was GUAVA SMOOTHIE !!!!  YUM  I had a sandwich from YOLO, it was spicy and great.  We then got some flat bread with greens at Zhengyalov Hatz, that only sells this greens stuffed flat bread and paxlava, jyst kliuke baklava.  

We got home by 4

What a great day.  We had a wonderful time hiking with Angel and Kurt and eating out.

We had left over for dinner 

I slept for over 9 hours

WORKING THURSDAY

 So I actually got up just before 6 and rushed off to work.  Maribel was not there.  And many patients canceled, even Mateo

I was home by 1 and KR with two beers was asleep.  I went for a bike ride and then puttered around before a walk at the Fire Trail with Angel.

She is such a sweet dog

Just want to go everywhere with us and beg food

We were in bed by 8 30

I am tired

I wrote two long emails to the sibs about their emails.

WORKING ROGER"S CLINIC

 So I am working   Monday through Thursday this week.

TOO MUCH

So I asked Roger to pay me 100 dollars an hour  Starting today.  He wanted to pay me a percent since I started but I didn't want the back pay and besides, too much trouble to figure out the production.  I told him five hours today

KR was at the jacuzzi, it was kind of cloudy and cold.  RAINED yesterday and a little today

I went for a run this morning, only about a mile and half before work.

I went for a ride this afternoon.  7.5 miles

We walked Angel by the beach.  Cold and windy

I made cream of broccoli soup tonight.  VERY GOOD.  KR finished cream of leek which I think was better.

Was in bed by 8 45

MORE WORK SBCHC

So Dr Desai had jury duty so I worked the am.

KR went to walk Angel and I was at work 7 45 got off a little after 1

Came home and KR was asleep, of course.

We went and walked Angel to the park.  She chased a good squirrel.

Kurt went to Oral Surgery Partners and interviewed.  They want him to work at their third location, north of LAX, that drive is gonna kill him.

Jennifer Rodriguez also said she wants him to do COVID testing this Sunday.  He said no.  We told him he should start this weekend.

KR and Doug and Shirley did the city council meeting.  I finally went to bed at 10  SO LATE 

Monday HAPPY Valentine's Day

 WORKING

I am at Roger's from 9 - 1 30.  Seeing Mary, delivered her crown.  And Anne Cannon for x rays.  Referred to OS, Trent and Tom

I gave away the Easter plates and got the Croc sandals.  Very nice sandals.

I got a lovely card and some sweet pea flowers from my sweetie KR

KR was home and doing something, what I don't know

I went to bed at 8 and got up at 6 30 with almost NINE HOURS OF SLEEP

Andrea and Maribel came to clean.  Always love the MONDAYs they come

SUPERBOWL SUNDAY Rams win 23- 20

 I went to bed at 10 15 and got up at 6 30.  Drove myself down to Seaside Lagoon area for the Superbowl Redondo Beach 10/5K.

I didn't know which I would do, so I started with the 10K folks at 7 30.  

WELL  I MADE THE WHOLE 10K

IN an HOUR and 7 minutes

Mike did it in 55

Then I went to the jacuzzi and then we zoom church while I stretched.

I am tired and sore.  My knees hurt more than my hip

I spent several hours making Cream of leek soup.  It was so much work but so so delicious.  Got a potato from Patty Lopez.  Chuck brought over some coconut cake.  That was delicious too

KR took Angel to the park and I went to bed

Busy Saturday

 We walk in the morning to the park, and then KR goes to Klub.  I do laundry and putters around.  Kurt and I go to FM and it is LEEK CITY.  What am I gonna do with all that stuff?  And carrots.

At 3 we go down to the beach to walk to Veteran's Park with Angel

We have dinner with the Crookston's.  WHAT A MEAL  Filet Mignon with gorgazola cheese sauce, green beans and mushrooms and salad and two kinds of dessert.

We play this game, It is called L/R/C  John ends up with all the money.

We didn't go to bed until 10

Give A Kid A Smile DAY

 GKAS was today

We left for work at 7 and it was FAST and furious to start.

Dr Sata unfortunately had given Dr V some inappropriate patients,  like one with a deep pulp cap and KR did it.  AND another with a spacer, and tooth had moved so I did it.  It was interesting day.  California Pizza Kitchen lunch

We left about 12 30 and came home.  Kurt did NOT walk Angel.  KR took a nap and I rode around. 

Then we went to Claudia's and had a great time

Angel was a butt in the beginning and then calmed down.

Anne Cannon text me her crown came off.  Guess I am going to see her next week too.  DANG  

Too much work

If it is THURSDAY, it is WORK

 So this week I will work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and TOMORROW GKAS

I got there early, and the first patient was Michael Chavez, Maribel's brother.  I take out roots 29 and 30 and 12.  I put one suture in lower right

Then the day go by fast, some no shows, and we get ready for GKAS tomorrow, cleaning, stocking and all kinds of stuff.  

I get home by 1 and we go eat burgers at Dr Trotter's.  Sees all kinds of old folks, like Barry and Trent and John V and etc

I come home, it is HOT TODAY and KR went to the pool and I go for a ride, he naps.

We go walk Angel at the beach, KR washes her.

We eat left over 

ALLERGY TESTING AND THE COP CAME TO DAD'S HOUSE

 KR and I took Angel to Victor Park, by Emerald to walk Angel then I went to allergy testing with Dr Emily Liang.  They did the multi scratch test and I am NOT ALLERGIC TO ANYTHING.

SO it is IDIOPATHIC RHINITIS

Really?????

Just manage the symptoms?

So that is what I though, just take meds and try not to keep coughing.

Easier said than done

Went to work at Rogers and had a really weird lady Mrs Ma from China, who was just a PITA

PAIN IN THE ARSE

Then Olivia called and said dad got the neighbor to call the police.

I rushed and the police came, as dad said that his caregiver VIOLET stole his money. 

HE IS SO SO WEIRD

I called Warren and gave him a piece of my mind.  He has not been down here visiting dad for over two years.  He pays 400 dollars a month, that is all.  Is that enough?  Is that all he can do?  I just don't get it.  He says there is 'lots going on', like no one else has LOTS GOING ON !1  I text Mimi and she said maybe it is time to put dad in a home?  Yup, she can go find one and move him.

Violet says I  am a good daughter, and just ignore the two ungrateful kids.

Roger wants me to work more.  DANG

I went for a ride and saw a coyote and chased him around Marble Estates for awhile.  

I called the coyote hotline and the guy just takes down the info and no one will come chase it away, as it was hurt looking

Carole says she is not feeling well and Paula is at her house, with her apt tenting for termites, and Paula has covid and now she thinks she has it.  I go to Target and get them some juice and drop 4 home covid tests off and talk to Mike and come home and go to bed.

Tuesday A day of HIKING

 So KR had his meeting at New Horizon with his Bible study friends.

We then left to go hike Millard Canyon in Altadena.  It took almost an hour drive out, up 110 through Pasadena, and we hiked a total of 2.5 miles, up and down and stream.  The waterfall was a bit small, still very nice, not too many people, and the water was cold.  We had packed a little drinks and snacks and Angel was on leash all the time.  KR didn't want her to get poison oak and he would get it too.

We picked up some El Pollo Loco chicken, with the little bit of EBT money.  Mom is only getting 20 dollars a month.  Why I don't know.  It was 200 a month before.

Kurt had class.

KR had class with the mutt.  I ran her to the park before the class and I was asleep by the time they came home.

Monday working for Roger 9 - 1

 KR had Zoom with the Monday I went to work

Doug came by with some nukes.

KR walked Angel at the golf course and then did yard work.

I got out by 1 and came home and went for a ride, and we went down to the beach for a walk.  It was a very nice day

I cooked a lot of kale chips and KR watched some Olympics.

Roger said Ben Karabell is interested in seeing the practice Ben has an office in Hermosa.  Trent says he is a nice guy.  I hope it goes through.  I am tired of working there.

Had only 7 hours and 30 min sleep.  Felt like a lot longer.  Seems like I was awake for A WHOLE HOUR

We are going hiking tomorrow  YIPEE

Sunday

 I didn't go to church.  I was gagging and coughing and my allergy.

KR went and I stayed home and ran the alleys about 2.8 miles.  I also dropped off some food at the church.  They had the Get Together lunch but we didn't go.  

NO ALLERGY MED

I went for a ride, 6.5 miles

We went to Entradero Park  for a walk.  Angel loved it  We stopped at Denise' and saw Gaia.  She started licking Angel like she did Gracie.  Angel dugged and dugged a large hole at the park.  Her face was all muddy.  She took at least 10 minutes to dig and had such a great time.  We had to rinse her when we got home

Saturday

 We walked Angel towards Veterans park.  

KR and I went to FM and got a LOT of food.  We had 38 bunches of romaine and red leaf lettuce.  SO much food.  I made salad  KR had a nap

Kurt still at Yeye and also shingles pain.

I went for a ride when KR had a nap.  I rode to drop off the spider plant off of Cricklewood  And I dropped off some lettuce from FM to Frieda on Park.  And I got some weird plants from her and cooked it too.  Suppose to be good for your body

We walked at the beach Esplanade in the evening.

RELAXING FRIDAY 2/4/2022

 So I decided I gotta do more relaxing things !!

I got up when I felt like it, slept at 9 18 and got up at 6 49

We went to Boundary road for a walk with Angel.  She was so active, and running all around.

Came home and I had to take a tooth out of Kathy Friend's mom, she had cracked #6 off at the gum line.  Her sister Vicki brought her over to the house.  Then I had to talk to Joshua Petean a few times and send him some amitriptyline and klonopin.  

We went for a beach walk at 3

I ran three miles at 7.  

Beijing Olympics was tonight, opening ceremony.  So weird everyone wearing masks

If it is THURSDAY, it must be a work day and LOBSTERS

 So I was up at 5 50 before KR woke up and got to work on time.  Tracy and Maribel were not at work.  It was not too busy.  Several no shows.  I cleaned Melissa's teeth and had my FMX taken

Went to El Super and used 28 of the 37 dollars left of dad's EBT card.  Mom only gets 20 dollars a month now, don't know why, but I guess it is better than nothing.  Dad still gets 221 a month.

I biked for six miles and picked up two cans of sweetened condense milk 

KR went diving and I took Angel to the park.

KR got THREE LOBSTERS 

I went to bed by 9 15

Wednesday OFFICE MEETING

 So KR and I go to the park to walk Angel.  

I go to the office meeting and NO ONE else is there, just me Dr Sata, Angelica, Yvonne and Melissa.  Both Maribel and Tracy were out.  The first half was on HR, and then office meeting.  Supposedly Dr Sata sent out a note saying we didn't need to be there.  Guess I missed that one.

Stopped at El Super to buy apples.  KR said he was juicing the carrots and to buy apples to add. 

WELL, HE WAS AT at least .08 and there was a gallon of juice already and i said DON"T juice the apples.  He always does this when he drinks, not enough good sense.

I also stopped at Target to get Kurt some food, juice, and chips and yogurt.  He had teledoc appt with school and then he went in to see the doc at 4, but he says he thinks he needs to see Dr Lee as Kurt thinks the doc at school is nim wit.  

I went for a 7 mile ride.  KR HAD a 2 and half hour nap.  1 30 - 4

We went down to the beach and when he got back he was still at .04.  

I can't stand it when he drinks like this.  I pray that he stops.

I mopped the floors and went to bed by 9 30

TOO MUCH WORK TUESDAY - HAPPY NEW YEAR OF THE TIGER

 So I had to be at work.  Got there at 9 and it was fast and furious.  I left about 11 30 and went to  dad's for Chinese lunch.  KR had ordered three dishes and Kurt was at home doing a zoom meeting with an advisor.

HIS SHINGLES we think, are getting worse.  He does not feel good.  HIs rash on his head is extending and he is starting to have bumps on his body.  We gave him some valtrex and pain meds and it is only helping a little.  He is putting ice on it.

I went back to work and the two dentists, John and Michael Chan came by to take a look at the practice.  I text George Chen last night to send out SOS about the practice and Isaac Huang got one of those and said that his associate John has a brother Michael that is looking.  So I called him and they both came in for a look see.

I worked until 4 00 and didn't finish charts until 440 and was exhausted.

I ate a little and did some paperwork and KR took Angel to dog class and I went for a 3 mile run.

Took a shower and went to bed by 9 45
