COLD Tuesday

 So KR's alarm went  off and  he was up  already  so the thing kept playing  music for about 10 minutes before he finally came up and turned it off.  I  didn't get out  of bed until 7 15

SO MUCH SLEEP

He came back and we went down  to the beach  to walk Angel

Then it was FM, not much to eat and cold

We went to lunch with Brandon Bernstein at Red Onion up  the hill and it was delicious.  We are holding well to our money and we should donate more

KR took a nap and I went to drop off socks at Sumi's and picked up cat food from Fariba and rash  guard from Marie and came home.

Kurt took a LONG NAP

I  read the bible a bit and we took a shower and ate very little dinner and went to bed about 8   30

Monday

 I didn't have a very good  sleep last night. About 4 am I was woken up with acid reflux and had to get up and take some Tums and omeperozole and tried to go back to sleep.  Finally got up at 6 and tummy calmed down  a little

KR  took Angel to the  golf course and I did laundry. Kurts aid he didn't want to  go to schoo.l but went anyway.

He then took a nap and then  to  an interview for tutoring

Andrea and Maribel came

I drove up to UCLA for the radiology lecture and met Adam there  It  was interesting to be at a university again and seeing all kinds of  students and  that  I was that  young once.   There is  a new radiology residents now at the dental school.  

We  went  tot he faculty   club  and  had  a  very  nice chicken and   salad dinner with   cake  for dessert

I w as home by  8 30

Kurt  had  tutoring job  today  and  said  it w as  ok

Sunday and it is CICLAVIA The Valley

 So we were up and deciding if we were  going  It   is  COLD

We said ok and KR went to  walk Angel and I stayed and got ready.   Corrina came about 8 55 and we drove Kurt's truck and  KR's  car with  Angel

It took  us  about 40  min to get to Sherman Way and Lindley   We parked and started.  It was one way five miles and cold.  But there were lots of  people and very fun.  Only five hubs and we  got freebies

We ate at this  place called El Ranchrito Mexican.  It was REALLY good and a line all the time we were  there,.   I  got the SUPER burrito lengua and they all had  tacos or burrito

We were home and everyone took a nap.   I  tried but  could not sleep.  KR took Angel  back to  the  golf course

It did  not  rain by t he time we went  to bed.  

Corrina  looked  like she cried a bit  yesterday, which  was her dad's birthday

Saturday and it is RAIN THUNDER and LIGHTNING

 Well, so the wind was  whipping it last night and it rained almost  all day

KR took Angel to the golf course  and said there was a  lot of downed trees

I did  laundry  and tried to  clean my stuff.  TOO MUCH  STUFF  I  am  giving   away  some of the  toe  socks that  Lovely gave me.  She is so  so generous

I also gave Michelle Green the BBQ  and asking her when she use it to  let me know how she likes it

Lunch was burger for Kurt, Taco salad for KR  and me just a little.  KR went to FM  and got some lettuce

The chicken run is a mud mess

They took a nap and I went for a  run before  the rain

Then KR and I went to the golf course which was closed of course but still  a lot of standing water

They had the left over for dinner and I had some brussel sprouts and taco meat.   I did a lot of the stretching exercises and went to bed

FRIDAY

 I almost always love Friday unless I have to work because it is right afterWORKING Thursday

I didn't get up until 6:30 after going to bed at 9 20  Why so late?

It had rained a little most night and then all  day it rained,  sometimes hard, but no hail

Angel didn't want to go outside.

KR and I watched last Sunday's sermon and then he took a nap and  I went to the gym.  I rode the bike for  20 and then did the weights for 45

KR took  Angel to the  golf course and hopefully not too muddy.  Kurt had school

BUSY work day and HAILING IN SO CAL !!!

 So it is Thursday so it is work

Kurt said it was raining, then it was  HAIL  What?  Lots of pictures  of hail on the net for so cal  it is so unusual

I  was up on time and to the office and I did a nice prep on Jose Ramariz

Then it was the Phan-Miles.   First  we fought Cameron  to get his spacer off as the perm was coming in.  We tried and tried and finally  I thought lets get  a  pair of rongeurs and try to grab the bar of the spacer and we got it  out.

Then it was  Cole  who had #E  and 8  coming at the same time.  I finally got it out   ALL IN THE CAR

Then it was Clay two fillings.  S  - DO and T - MO

Then KR came and did some extractions on Lucas the  poor kid with such bad mouth

I came home and KR was asleep  

He bought a 8  dollar battery at Walgreens when the same thing was 2 dollars at Walmart

So  Iw ent  to  Walmart and got one so he can return the 8 dollar one tomorrow

He walked Angel  I ran 2.57 miles first then biked for 3.38 miles.  It was COLD

Wednesday

 It was COLD AND COLD  this morning.  And the wind blew all day long

KR took Angel to the beach down to RAT.  Says another portion of the cliff is coming down and after the rain more should fall

I walked over to mom's and brought the black sheet back to wash and to get the bed made.  I decided to use the blanket Jesse gave me, the WHITE SNOOPY.  Why wait  and not use what you like?

I ran 3 miles when KR took a nap, 13 min pace.  VERY SLOW

It was so windy that the laundry dried quick

KR also weed whacked and cleaned the rain gutters and I drained one of the barrels as it will rain tomorrow.

I went up to the Fire Road with  him.  VERY  COLD

Kurt didn't want to go to school said something about his homework not done.  I convinced him to go and he came home for a nap and then to work

We were in bedd by 8  

WORK TOMORROW

Tuesday

 I got up at 5 43 as KR  was leaving for Bible Study

I used  Kurt's truck and took some of the bedding over to mom's.  I cleaned a bit of the slats on this bed here  

KR took Angel to the beach, then to FM and then to order a new board.  He and three others are going to the  Mentawai off of Sumatra to go surfing late April.  It is gonna be interesting with  KR gone 15 -  17 days

We went to Neil's and got a mattress and box spring

KR had more jack in  the box for dinner.  We  had Eddie chicken for lunch with  some rice I cooked

THE GIRLS ARE LAYING EGGS EVERYDAY !!!!

Monday

 and what did  happen Monday?

I didn't work but ONE  patient.  Kimel came at  10  and  has a fistula  on D root  of  19.  Komatsu  did  the  endo retreat  in 2011 so h e is going back to  see  him.  I spoke with Anel and she  seems to b e doing  well there

KR took  the  dog  for a walk and I did load  of  laundry.   Trying  to get ready  for a 'new'  used mattress  tomorrow.

I text Adele for advise about a mattress and she said she has one  we can have.  YEAH

Kurt came over and put the frame together for me.  I would have made a big boo boo but he made it  right.  

When KR napped I r ode around and picked up the phone  case, turns out to be the wrong case, and then rode 9.12 miles all around the alleys.  Got a chenille gray throw.  I am giving  it  away

We had jack in  the box for dinner and I was in  bed by 8 15

Sunday FOUNDERS day at ARMED church

 Pastor Thrash had text and invited us to their church for Founders' Day so we went

KR walked Angel first when I went to mom's and got rid of the bunk bed the white ones outside and placed the tan one inside and reorganized a few things

Dana came by and picked up a suitcase for her trip

Kurt was home with Angel and we went up to Inglewood.  Will was there but he didn't stand and sing and hardly spoke two words to us.  The service was great.  Diamond drove him home and came back and we had fried chicken and grilled chicken and green beans and rice and cake and cookies and drinks.  It was a great time.

Spoke with Larry and Christina and  saw  Crystal and Ashton and we got home about 2

I  took a LONG nap

KR walked Angel

I read some bible and we had left over dinner and he squeezed orange juice and we went to bed

Music at the  church  made me VERY   DIZZY but I still stayed

Saturday and KR is mad mad and mad

 i just don't get how someone can get that mad and not speak to his love of his life the whole day

Let me  back up.  So he said he wanted a little action last night for this morning and I remember saying  YES

Well, this  morning he said I just ignored him and so he was mad.  I didn't know   I asked him to bring me the cough  powder and some water and he brings me boiling water

HMMM    Houston    we have a problem

Then I  get up and ask him what the problem is and he  tells me

We go walk the dog but no conversation

We go to FM and get lots of  food  Kale, brussel sprouts,  cabbage and radish  I gave most of it  away

I go  to  Maria and  get the white  bunk  beds.   Not too good, kind  of  weak I took  them to  mom's  garage

Then I see that  there  is a  really  nice bunk  bed on  Anza and I go and get  it and put the white ones on the curve in front of the dumpster  and put  the tan  new ones from Anza in  mom's garage.  ALL THIS  I  do by myself as KR is still  mad

Kurt works all day

I took a nap and KR took Angel somewhere

He has protein shake for dinner and I cooked brussel sprouts

He goes to bed mad

Still dizzy

MORE Working Friday

 Dizziness still abound.  I am working and working  through it

Up about  6:10  and getting ready for work.  KR took Angel for a walk and then house  work.  I got almost 9 hours of sleep.

My patients were  Rita Risor at 8, Kirk was suppose to be 9 but he forgot we had a conversation that changed his 11 am appt to 9 as James  Ellis cannot decide if he wants to come and see me.   Mary came in  at 10 , Donna  at 10:30 and Vana with her daughter at 11 30 and  Kirk at  11.   He had a cracked tooth or a failed endo and I sent him to Dr Kelliny.

I got done at about  1:15 and came home and had some fab chicken salad that KR made.  He was asleep  We went to the FIRE road to walk Angel.   I was kind of depressed about my vertigo and that mom is so  slow and her dementia.

Sumi dropped off Rascal's Chinese chicken salad and we had that with the bacon and tofu that I grilled.  It was very good.  I went to the Korea market after walking to get the tofu.

We were in bed reading and  then a sleep  by 8

TIRING working Thursday

 I  was up  early and  left early for  work.

First patient  was not until 7 30 and Megan  had trouble taking out  5, 12  She didn't have  Abner numb enough  and I took out 5 and she  finished 12.

I did a crown on  Papat

Got done by  12 45 and came home.  Went for a 6.7 mile ride and then took a nap   When I got home from work, KR was asleep and Kurt at work.  When I came back from bike, KR was gone and when I was napping, KR came home and Kurt too.  I was VERY  TIRED from work.  Dizzy not too bad but definitely there.

We had Costco chicken and soup for dinner.  I didn't eat much  

I went to bed last night at 7 30 and woke up at 5 40 and got almost 9 hours of sleep !!!!!  Dang I need the sleep

Trying to rest Wednesday

 KR and I went down to the beach, as the wind was not right for surfing yet.

I did a load of laundry, our top sheet and Kurt's sheet and blanket.  LOTS of cat and dog hair

Kurt had school, then work 4 - 11

I was in bed by 10 and got up at 7  but i think the watch is wrong

NOT TOO GOOD

Still dizzy, although not feeling really queasy all day like the other day.  My neck is still very tired and I am so so tempted to quit work ALL TOGETHER

I biked 6.7 miles and then went to the gym for a little weigh workout while KR was walking Angel in the afternoon

I also went to mom's and did a little clean up

 So today starts the  same except different

HAPPY VALENTINES' DAY

KR gets up early and makes me a great card.  He has Bible Study so he leaves at 6  I am up soon after and still dizzy.  I didn't even want to move this morning.  It was really cold too.  After he comes back he talks me into going to plant the mulberry tree at the golf course with him.  He tears up half the roots, and prays the tree survives.

It was a nice walk

He went to FM and got a LOT of kale and I give away a lot.  Freda brings me two BBQ buns.  She is so sweet.  I went for a bike ride and it was COLD   I rode 6 miles

KR took a nap and then walked Angel at Fire Trail.  I made bone broth with the rib bones in the Instapot  

We got Jack in the Box food for dinner  HAHAHA  

My neck is really sore.  Still taking the herbalist medicine and the cough meds too

Kurt went up with a little gift for Corrina.  I made some candy heart thing for him with the heart shape cookie box of last week and some Hershey Kisses.  He bought some balloons from Dollar Tree

I was in bed by 8

Taiwanese Passport Monday

WHAT A DAY

KR woke up and tried to go surfing, NO go so he took the dog for a walk.  I left about 9 15 for my  10 30 appt downtown, 3731 Wilshire.  Email said to  come 15 min early.  The parking was expensive so I walked two blocks down the street  and got free parking.  Everything around there was 1 hour  parking

I  go in and the  guy asks if I filled out paperwork?  What paperwork?  He hands me a form and I had a hard time following the Chinese.  I have an appt so about  10 45  I was called to window 3.

WELL, the agent 009 said that since the TYPO, they don't know if I am really me.   REALLY?  I said that I was just in Taiwan to fix this and was told that can be finished at Wilshire.  She  said EVERYTHING HAS TO  BE SENT TO TAIWAN for approval.

Why didn't they  approve that when I was there?

I was REALLT dizzy too  so I drove home and when KR was napping, I went for a run

Then I slept for a few hours

KR walked Angel and we had the vegetable soup I cooked

 

Super Bowl Sunday 2/12/2023

 So I was up early  and thinking do I wanna run?

KR checked the tide and went to check the surf, and I went down by  myself  as  Kurt just didn't wanna go.  Well, KR said surf no good  and told Kurt to go down.  KR drove Kurt down and we started with  the  buggy race at 8 15.  He beat me by about 4 minutes he says.  I actually felt pretty good running the 5K

There were a  lot of people down there.  The goodies were GREAT.  We got cans of water, cans of coffee drinks, and Suja drinks that I really like.  Kurt even got a finish  medal.  HAHAHHA  I was really dizzy.  We got home about 9 45 and I was too dizzy even to go to the jacuzzi.  We both stayed home and watch Pastor Paul online.  

We had stopped and gotten enchilada in a pan meal from Kim, and I cooked it for KR for lunch.  He took a nap while I went to the exercise room for some weigh workout and then jacuzzi and then sauna.  Still felt pretty dizzy.  

The super bowl started about 2 30.  Kurt went up to Corrina to watch with a bunch of friends

Super Cleaning SATURDAY

 So I didnt get up until almost 7, woken up by KR

I did two loads of laundry, washed the comforter and then the sheets.  He took Angel to the Fire Road while I cleaned.  There is always so  much to do

He wanted to go surfing but there was no surf

I keep on getting up and peeing almost every three hours and hard to get a good night sleep

DIZZINESS IS STILL WITH ME

Kurt works all day

KR had ribs for lunch and butter chicken for dinner

KR took a nap and I biked 5 miles and ran walked 1.85  i also put the car away and did the mats there and hung them out to dry

We walked Fire Trail again and KR washed Angel.  She was filthy from digging.

I was in bed by 8 15

Friday GKAS

 Today is the volunteer day at the clinic.  Me and Megha and KR and Monica all worked the morning.  I was so so tired.  The day went really well and we had CPK food for lunch.  We stopped and picked up POZOLE for dinner.  I went to Charity's to pick up worms and somewhere else for hot sauce.  KR took Angel for a walk

Kurt didn't have school, got canceled and he took Angel to Corrina's

I went for a 6 mile bike ride.  I am really tired.

Thursday working

 I told myself to post Thursday night but I was too  too tired

Got to work on time and met the new extern, Megan or something like that  It was fast and furious.  Although we didn't have that many  patients, I still didn't finish  until noon, and they were getting ready  for GKAS and cleaning and prepping for stuff

Dawn at Independent Honda called.  Even with over night charge, the van would only charge 50% so we got a new battery.   Alden took  Alan to get the van and they loaded the hospital bed and  Alden brought it back down south,

I  came home and  got  a phone  call from Steph Ciscel about their  remodeling, adding  an ADU.  KR had left for his BOARD meeting so I text him to meet me there when he is done so I can figure out what Steph is talking about

He met  me about 3 30 and we talked about moving the shed at Harbor Rock 3 feet to the  east so they  can  start tearing down the garage roof.

Kurt was working

KR took Angel somewhere, maybe Fire Road, I ran 2.5 miles at 12 10 pace

KR also cooked yummy ribs for dinner.  Alan came over for dinner and went back

I was in bed by  8  30 and got up  Friday  at 6 09 but only  got 8 hours of sleep, felt tired still

Wednesday GOLF for the boys

 KR and I went for a walk at the beach with Angel.  I put the laundry in  before we left.  KR and I went to the garage to get the car started and to do an oil change.  THE BATTERY was dead.  Someone had left the back light on and drained the car.  Eddie said it was NOT him.  Right.  No one else drove the car.

We tried to jump after asking Barbara to move her car, but could not.  We called AAA and Falcon came by with Sergio who jumped it and I drove home first then to Independent Honda.  Alan and Alden had arrived and KR ate some lunch and took a short nap  and  they all went golfing at Alondra.

I drove to Independent and RAN home.  Well, sort of shuffled home.  It was 4.34 miles at 14 38 per mile.  VERY SLOW

The car won't be ready until tomorrow.

I also cooked Butter Chicken with broccoli and rice.  They will eat when they  get back.  Tomorrow I will ask Alden to drive Alan to pick up the car.  

Tuesday and Bible Study

 KR had Bible Study  at church  and I paid bills and stuff.

Then  he  went surfing and I  just  continued  with  paper  work

KR took Angel to the park and to FM and got a bunch of vegetables.  Mostly  broccoli

He had the left over chicken for lunch.  Kurt went to  Corrina's last night and came home about noon.  He  napped of  course

I cooked bulgogi steak and grilled zuks for dinner.  Plus reconstituted spaghetti squash.  They  liked it

Bible Study  was good.  Only Joy and Walter were not here.  They are back in town.

I went  to  bed at 9 50 pm and woke up at 6 53.  NINE hours but only registered 7 hours and 50 min of sleep.  72 sleep score  FAIR

Monday

 I thought  I should have donet his  Monday night, but nowi ti s Tuesday and what DID HAPPEN?

KR had  zoom  with  the  Monday morning  people and  then took  Angel  to  the park.  KR  talked  me  into  walking Angel at the  beach and we went up  to the  bay t o   check the s urf  and he  went  surfing

Then he went  back to surfing as I tried to clear the paperwork.  I left msg with  Esther Espinosa regarding the  labor problem,  I tried to call Chinese consulate.  I finished the squirrel stew

I went biking in t he  afternoon  for 6.7 miles

We then walked Angel to  the Fire Road and I tried the  fast  run down hill  The fastest I can go was 9:30 NOT fast at all

We had tofu  dinner with  chicken and went to bed

Sunday and squirrel stew

 I am still just as dizzy.

We walked Angel to  the park, and Kurt went to COTB, as the light rain stopped early enough.  He said there was a 'lake' down there

I did not go to church.  I listened to Elder Bob and he  was quite short, and they all came home and I made steak for lunch.    KR took a nap and I went for a short run.

KR got a squirrel and then HE SKINNED THE LEGS, and I cooked it like a stew and ATE half of it and saved the other half for tomorrow  It tasted like chicken.  NOT gamey

Kurt went up to Corrina's and didn't get home until late

We went to Paula Gooch and it was a surprise, which I did not realize, for Chris and Sarah and Jack.  We had fab food and saw Donna and Patty and Mike and of course all the Gooch's.

We left Angel in the car

we were in bed by  8 and read a little

Eddie and Nic left for Brisbane

Saturday

 I  am still  dizzy

Taking  the powder.  Both for the cough and for the  dizziness

KR and I started going for a walk and  then he  realized that  there was men's breakfast so he turned around and came home and then left.   I went to pick up the  Instapot from Mirium and  got lost.  I was just fuzzy from jet lag.  I walked Angel at Lego Seco.  She liked it

I then tried to get the rest of the  stuff sorted.  So much  stuff.  KR dropped a burrito off for Kurt at work.  I went for a bike ride when he was napping.  We went to the FM and got a lot of stuff.  Dropped some off at   Sarah's and went to the store  for cereal for Lovely.  Dropped them off at Nicole's  as she is flying out tonight.

KR went and walked Angel and I stayed home

Jon came over and I gave him some sesame drink stuff and some vegetables.  

I  went to bed and had  a poor night sleep.  Kept getting up and down

Jet  Lag and Dizziness NO BUENO

So this is Friday in Taiwan and Friday at home

 Well I left on  Friday and  arrived on  Friday.

The day  of  course  started with he helping  Lovely  get mom ready.   I heat up the food and Lovely gives mom a shower.   She has to shower every night  as she smells like pee.  I had some  coffee and  Lovely made this green  bean stuff.

We were off  to first Decathelon, but  Eddie   was  looking for work pants.   Then Lovely dropped them off at Costco and they walked to  Leeco, which is an  outlet.   She took me to the facial  place  which w as  the  same as  he oil massage place yesterday.  

It was wonderful.

I rode the  bike for about 9.1 miles  all a round  town  and came back.  They w ere  already  back  a nd w e went   and picked up mom at  ther day care and went  to t his  GREAT hot  pot  place.  Each of us had a pot and  could cook  whateever we want and  Nic ate a  LOT  There was even ice  cream  

Lovely then took  me  to Sonsang  Airport  and the  bus was  right  there.  I could  not  find my Yoyo  card but  Eddie gave  me  300.  I  could  not get  change but the other  passenger   said  the  fare  was 120 a nd he gave  150 so I just  gave 100

The flight was  very  full and  I had  THREE  seats again a ll to myself.  I slept according to t he  watch,  8 hours.   I  did have a  Chinese  brekkie  of congee and we   landed and  I walked to  Terminal  7 and KR  picked me up.

SO SO  NICE TO BE HOME  

I  am still  pretty  dizzy,  although kind of  different  dizzy.  Pray  tomorrow would  be  different.

Thursday and massage and hair treatment OH WOW

 So we were up  and I got mom to eat after Lovely took care of her bathroom stuff.  The  van came right on time.  We had a bit of relaxing time and then Nic and Eddie are off to their massage,  and Lovely went for a run and I left at 11 to run to my OIL MASSAGE.

They don't do OIL here for men.  Weird but it is not  frowned upon unless you are getting the EXTRA service at the red light district.

I am still pretty dizzy.  But GOD IS GOOD  and I  am up to 1 Samual 18 !!!!  Praise the Lord

The run  was  3.16 miles and took me 38 minutes to arrive.  First you  take a shower then to the massage room.  The  hot oil was so so good.  Then another quick shower so my feet were not so oily.  Eddie  and Nic had  blind massage,  They were  outside  waiting for me with  some  pork  chop meals.   

We then went to the hair place and had a fabulous hair cut for Nic, and scalp treatment for me and Eddie and Lovely  She then dropped Ed and Nic off at the mall and dropped me off at the Chinese Herbalist to try to get my vertigo under control.   

I came home and mom was home in about 10 minutes.  Eddie and Nic came home didn't  buy anything.   Eddie spoke with Sandy and went to bed without eating  much.  I had some duck  and helped Lovely  put mom to bed.   

I was in bed by 8.  The sinus is really good today.  Only took two spoonful of stuff.

Tomorrow is my LAST DAY !!!

Wednesday and another FUN FUN DAY I AM STILL DIZZY

 So  we were up early and I got mom down to the taxi to the elderly center.  Lovley went to work and then Eddie and Nic did some work and we were off to CKS Memorial Hall.  We  took  the bike from HiLife as there were no bikes up here and rode the Brown Line to the Red Line and got off.  Nic rode there on UBike but we didn't want to.  

We walked all around the Memorial and saw the changing of the guards.  Very interesting.  We were going to go to the 228 Park and happens to run into Lovely as she was running around the Memorial.  She does this on Wednesdays as she is working at MOE which is just down the street from the memorial.

She told us to try to go get food, as I was hungry and then see the Japanese House, and 228 and the Presidential Palace and go back to CKS as we forgot the museum downstairs that had CKS's TWO armor Cadillac plus a bunch of memorabilia like his shoes and stuff.

After we rode to the MRT station, and Nic rode home.  We got the bikes outside Miramar and rode up the hill.  I also got half a duck.  I ate some and Lovely came home and we did two loads of laundry and I am really DIZZY

My nose was pretty good Monday and Tuesday and this morning I had a bit of spitting issues, but most of my phlegm is gone.  I took some more of the 'powder' and the coughing is mostly gone.  Tonight all is great.  No coughing and no post nasal drip.  

Eddie went to bed early.  They have a massage appt tomorrow at 10 and I have one at 12 and I think I have a scalp treatment  Oh my
