Sunday Last Day of April

I had nine hours and 47 minutes of sleep last night geewhiz.

 So now that I have found out you could speak and everything will be typed out I could now write a whole lot of blog without getting frustrated.

We were up early and KR tried to take Angel to the park it was a no go

Kurt went down to Church on the Beach and stay down there and play volleyball with Corrina and her friends.  He dropped off his surfboard and went out to eat with Corrina didn't come back until about six took a shower and went straight to bed.

KR and I went to a branch of hope and then we came home and took a nap. I was so tired I slept for an hour and a half.  So did KR

We went to the Fire Road for a walk in the afternoon. KR had Royale's ribs for dinner.

Easy Saturday

 This wonky  computer is making me want to  buy  a  new one.  
Dang I almost s aw a little accident just in front of  the house. 

We were up at  6 30 with  KR  up first of course  I did laundry and Kurt went to work

We went to the beach in the morning to walk Angel. The weather was overcast and cold.

We  went to  FM not much to be had. We brought yummy food for Kurt who worked all day

He came home  and slept  all night

KR went to Paul Mericle's party lefty aty 4 30  and was home about 8 30.  Said he  saw a lot of folks from PV high

I puttered around and felt pretty dizzy.  But I  tried not to lay around too much  

I rode my bike in the afternoon at 1:30 when Care was napping for almost 8 miles.

Well let's see if this diction is going to help me with the blog. Hey is working pretty good. I should've discovered this along time ago.

KR is BACK

 So we were  home so late yesterday after 11 with me picking up  KR  and Jerome

This morning  KR  was awake  at 3 30  and  could not  go  back to  sleep so he got up  and  ate a few ribs and then went back to sleep.   I was up at 7 and KR about 7 30

BAD sleep score

We went up to Fire road and walked Angel   She still has an infected toe  

Then I biked two miles to drop off fish we picked up from Jeff

Then  I ran a total of  2.83 miles dropping off the van to get  smog check and running back and went back to pick up then gas and car wash and then parked back in the garage at mom's 

Then I biked 4.8 miles.   Nothing to be had in the alley.   Dang.  I did bring back an interesting coffee table from Via Valmonte and posted on BNT   Everyone wants it

KR repaired Jeff Petty's  surfboard  bag and brought back to  him.  We listened to the sermon of last week at BOH as I was biking at CicLavia

I  took a shower and went to bed by 8   VERY TIRED

Thursday WORK day

 I  was up  at 5 30  could not  sleep and  a  lot   to do before  work

I  let  the chickens out  and  Angel would not get up so I text  Kurt to let her out.  Well,  he didn't until 8 20 he says and she had already pee on the living room and pooped in  front of the fire place.

THAT KURT RAT

It was not too busy, my crowns all rescheduled But I still had an interesting day.  Dr Tran is getting better.  He brought us egg rolls today.  Maribel was not there.  Just Tracy, Dr Tran, Melissa and me

I went to El Super and bought avocados  for KR and  some other stuff  like chicken  legs and bananas

I was mad at Kurt that  he didn't finish all t he stuff on the list like putting dishes away and clean the front walkway and I should  NOT have told him  off  in front of  Corrina.  I  just find  him  to be so lazy and Johnny come lately all the time.

I did apologize

Royale made TWO whole racks of pork   ribs  and brought them over while it was still hot  !!!

I gave Angel a bath that nearly killed me

I went  to pick up KR and Jerome

Wednesday 4/26/2023

 KR COMES HOME TOMORROW

Usually around 6 pm it  is  so very dizzy for me.  Also queasy through out the day and having issues with bending over while working.  Seems like the gravitational pull  wants to  pull  me  farther  down and I have to resist and so my back and neck  gets very tired

Kurt  had  school but he  says the  first class was canceled.  I took Angel to Lago Seco Park and we had  a  nice  walk.  She sure misses daddy

Kurt had a nap and went to work.  I  rode around the alleys and didn't get anything   Yesterday I got a nice dawn comforter with a little stains.  I washed it  twice and it is very good.

Buffy is still the same.  Wants to come in at night and I just bring her in

I t ook a  shower and went to bed by 

Tuesday

 and   thatw as  yesterday

so  Angel w as going  crazya bout this squirrel so I started to shoot him,  and it took two or three shots.  The squirrel was still alive and climbing up the tree in the serenity garden and I tried to  get it down  with a broom before it climbed higher.   Finally Angel got  it

Then I threw it  over  the   fence and   didn't  make  it so  it  went  into Roman's yard.  Oh man

We got a small mouse  in t he t erap

I got a lot of stuff out of the hall closet and gave a bunch  of stuff away and gave another bunch  of stuff for Karin to sell on Poshmark

Lots of purses

Kurt went  to farmers market and got a lot of lettuce and some cilantro and some kale and  I g ave moist  of it away

KR had   packed up and wasl eaving soon, taking  the SLOW boat  to Padana

Monica sent me a pic  of  her   frioend's dad who  had dntures  that w ere  placed on upper and  lower locators and wanted to know if I can make  new, as he  fell and cracked the  dentures.   Oh man  I  don't  like doing  dentures

I was in bed by 9

Monday 4/24/2023

 I was up really early and thinking about a dream which  I cannot remember right  now.  Something about a pogo stick?  That is really weird.  My watch says 5 10 am waking, and I wore both watches, the Versa 3 and the  Charge 5 to sleep and all day.  The GPS is  wrong on one of them.  When I went riding to Von's, the Charge 5 which is synced to the Samsung says I rode 5.81 miles  and the Versa 3, that is synced to iPhone says  I rode 5.34 miles, which   is a difference of almost half a mile.

KR text that there was an earthquake there and everyone had to evacuate and there was no tsunami and they all went back to sleep.  Wow, I never thought of that one

Still  on the same  med .5 klonipin and 10 mg  of amitriptyline  and still during the day,  sometimes I  get so dizzy

Andrea came this morning with her daughter Maribel and I took Angel to the  Boundary road and she was tired.  

I did a  load of laundry, and they changed the sheets  downstairs.  I fell asleep on the sofa when they were leaving.  I didn't even hear them

Kurt had school and then Robert Babb

Then nap for him, of  course

Sunday

 So Kurt was at Corrina's.  I took Angel to the  Fire Road and she was listless.  Didn't wanna go.  Guess no dad no go

We were home by 10 and  I watch the sermon online.  While laying down.   My vertigo is still with me and  no good.  By the end of the day I just wanna hang my head and rest,

This double spacing is still killing  me.  I  should just let it go and type as I usually do and fix it later.

Kurt finally came home about   2 and weed whacked  but  he  didn't sweep the front walk  where I  trimmed the  camilia and  the grass is a bit uneve.

KR text that he  broke his   fun board and  he  i s leaving  it  htere

Also  he has to take another kind of  boat to Padang as the  crew of  the ferry  wants to celebrate more  Ramadan

Saturday 4/22/2023

 I did a load of laundry and Kurt went to work.

He was at Corrina's and I think came home really late.  He had  to work at 9  I brought him some steak and rice and green beans for lunch.  I did not go to FM.  Too hard for me to drive and pick up stuff by myself. 

I ran 3.09 miles at 10. 08  pace I think this Charge 5 records my run differently than the Versa 3. I shall  try to wear them both to run  tomorrow  and  see  how they compare.

I took Angel out for a walk at 5, all around the park.  She was a good dog

Kurt went up to Corrina's again and said they were going to be camping out in the back yard.

  I was in bed by 9 20 and got 8.5  hours  of sleep

AHHH Easy Friday

 I almost always love Fridays as I don't have to work for a whole week

MAYBE IT IS TIME TO RETIRE

My pinky on my left hand is still hurting after my fall over a month ago

I posted a lot of stuff to give away.  Photo paper, envelopes, dish rag that is a large circle. So many things.  I think I am  done with the cleaning of kitchen  drawers. 

Kurt went to work out and then to school.  Then he came home and finished some homework and went to Corrina's  I tried weed whacking, but it was too hard so I just did a little bit in front of the chicken coop

I also went on a ride for about xxx miles.   First to drop off photo paper and then to drop off envelopes

There was nothing to be had in the alleys

I watered the lawn  and went to bed by a bout  9

LATE working day

 Maribel called or rather text last night that I didn't  have to come  in until 7 30 which was nice, I had a fairly easy day.   Dr Tim Tran is slowly catching on.  We are interviewing new assistants.

I stopped at El Super and bought some chicken legs and tomatoes.   Kurt took Angel to Ernie Hewlett Park and did  NOT  WEEDWHACK

I went for a ride and a run.  Bike was 6.9 miles and run was 2.87 miles  10 16 pace.  I think the  Charge 5 thinks I am running  faster than  Versa

Kurt went to work, after a nap

Sumi dropped off muffins and cookies and then came back and dropped off lettuce, grapes and cuks.

What nice folks I  know

Wednesday 4/20 Second anniversary of Hip Replacement

 So I was up early, for some reason I can't sleep in.  I went to bed at 9:53 and got up at 6:05

Kurt had school and I walked Angel all around New Horizon.  She liked sniffing all the new smells but  did not get off  leash

I took all the stuff out of the junk drawers and reorganized and sorted and threw stuff out.  There was so many rubber bands,  and just all kinds of misc stuff that needed to be done.  THREE YEARS since I did that.  

Kurt came home and had a nap before working.  I am 109.5 lb before going to bed.   Have been eating a lot of tofu.  With KR not home, it is easier eating.

I read the Bible and went to bed.

Tuesday

 So I did not sleep in as much as I thought I would. 

I   STILL CAN"T TYPE  There is double spacing everywhere

I took Angel to the park, after much groaning on her part.  There were several S things so she was happy. 

I gave Kurt a list of things to do.  I changed the sheets and rode to Sprouts to get some spicy mangoes.  Kurt took a nap, of course.  He did his taxes and said he should be getting about 700 dollars back.

I had some pizza for lunch and a salad

Monday

 Today would have been father's 92 birthday.

I didn't get up until 8:10 !!!!!!  I got NINE hours of sleep.  WOWOWOWOW

Kurt went to his second class for his two presentations of this morning.  It turned out well he says.  I did a load of laundry, mostly Kurt's.  It was mostly sunny throughout the day.  I cleaned downstairs, trying to get ready for tomorrow's Bible Study.  

I took Angel to the Boundary Road and she had a great time running after squirrels.  She was really pooped and had a grand old time. 

He slept all afternoon, of course

I went to Ralphs and got milk and pizza and cooked one for Kurt

I also spoke with KR.  He is having a great time.  Said that he and Jerome surfed a total of FIVE HOURS

I am still dizzy and taking .5 klonipin and amitrypyline

CIVCLAVIA Sunday

 Yup, it is CiclaVia Sunday.   I have not been going to bed early enough.  I went and walked Angel all over New Horizon, to smell something new.    Then I loaded the bike, the old Schwinn and drove down to Hoover and Venice,  or something like that.  I was just one block off the first hub.   It was only a four mile ride and it was cool but  I  had  my  neon  sweat shirt  on with  leggings and  it was fun riding the  route.  I rode past Loyola High School.  What a beautiful campus.  Right next to this  really interesting cemetery.

I stopped and got some guava pastries and drove home,  

Kurt did home work, and slept a lot in the afternoon.

I did a bunch of exercises and ordered stuff from KR's OTC Blue Cross.  Spent the quarterly100 dollars.  He also called and we had a nice conversation.  He is having a GOOD TIME

Saturday 4/15/2023

 I was in bed by 8:45 and up at 6:20.   Pretty good sleep. Kurt went to work and I took Angel to the beach and parked off because I didn't want to pay parking.  Angel was off and on wanna walk and  not wanna  walk

I finished washing the covers of the sofa and when they were dried, squished them back into  the covers.  

I did NOT go to FM, too much to lift for me.  Nice day so I sat outside for about an  hour.  

Spoke with KR he is having a great time.  Phil T not so much.  Guess his neck is bothering him so he is having problems surfing.  KR  and  Jerome are  always ready t o go.   Bilou even put KR on one of their  Instagram page and I got to see him in ACTION.  Well, just action jumping off the boat.  

This computer is killing me.  Skipping the space bar.  Maybe it is my MdDS typing. We were able to  talk a bit.  

Friday

 I also forgot to mention it  was misting, or  raining lightly yesterday.  

What is with this weather

Kurt was home said his class got canceled.  He took Angel for a walk to the beach and she was digging in the sand  for gophers.

I cleaned more.   The garage is a little better.  Kurt did home work,  said there is a whole bunch of stuff due.   I went bike riding for 6.5 miles,  about, didn't see anything in the alley.   Yesterday I saw two bags of kitty litter and by the time I went back with the car, they were gone.

It was a nice day today.  Sunny a high of 63.  We found a wet spot on the sofa and I had to wash all the sofa cushions.  Does not really smell like pee

Thursday What a day of WORK

I did a bunch of stretching exercises off the internet that I am sore  today 

So no more Yvonne.

Tim Tran and Melissa was there and it was not too  busy.

However, my last two patients I was suppose to take out #B, the first one allowed me  to numb him and then it was NO GO

The second one too, I numbed and finally got the tooth  out.  Dang what is the matter with them kids today?

I got home and Kurt went to work at 3.  He changed his schedule so Angel won't have to be at home alone and doing whatever she wants to do

I made turkey meat loaf and some turkey for Angel too.  She is not happy that KR is not  here

I was  in bed  by 10 20.  Really late.  I should  sleep earlier

Wednesday

 So  now it is Friday and I just don't  remember Wednesday

Kurt had  school and I  was home with Angel.  I took her to  to the beach.   We saw Natalie and  she had a nice walk.  I parked at just past Alta Vista School so we crossed PCH and then just a little bit of the beach.  Enough  so we can see Natalie  and get  a treat.

Came home and puttered  around and  tried  to clean and get ready for work

When I came out of the  house, I saw these two black guys loading  the  lawnmower of Rocky's gardner into their black Chevrolet sedan with the  license plates papered out.  I was so  so mad.  I ran in the back yard and told him and he did had the lock on it but they used bolt cutters and got his mower. 

I asked Patty to call the police and they came to talk with her and left me a  msg to call  them back.

I did a RCT on Scott Tennihill (#20) and all the fillings, 4 - 13.  It was two hours of solid work.  I was so tired.

Came home and Kurt went to work  at 4, -  11.  

I was  in bed by 9.  Have to work tomorrow

Tuesday and last day for Yvonne

 Maribel  called  me last night saying Yvonne's  last day would  be  today and if I wanted to see her I better come  in.  I got up about 6 30 and let the chickens out and got the dog too pee, etc.  Fed everyone and went to the  grocery  store, bought a roast and some other stuff but the guy charged me 8.99 a  pound instead o f 6.99

Where did all the written post go?

Well, Kurt took Angel to FM to get the stuff and walk  her.   I  got a lot of kale and radish  and cilantro.   Most of the kale went but here is a lot more.  

Grace K left for the Philipines today.  I think Rocky is going to Japan in a few days.

Buffy  is still around and having a good time outside.  She wants to come in at night so I put her in the yellow bin

I did at least 30 min of the stretching reels from FB

Kurt  did  home work and is working on  taxes

Angel really misses KR and did  come to bed in  the  middle of the  night last  night.  

I cooked steak for our dinner

KR arrived at  Mentawai    WHAT A LONG  TRIP

I  sent James 3000  loan.   AGAIN

Monday KR arrives in Singapore

 So he liked the Business class VERY VERY MUCH, from the orange juice welcome to the sea bass dinner to the omelette brekkie all was good.  He said he thinks he slept  a full 8 hours.  I spoke with him while they were finishing  a meal at the Singapore airport

I drove Angel out to Boundary Road while Andrea and Maribel cleaned the house.  She started digging so I had to drag her away as she was \getting muddy from the dew.  We were back and I did a load of laundry and hung out to dry.   Kurt's tax from Walgreen finally came.  Made over 4000 dollars from them.  He is doing his  taxes, hopefully

I  also went for a ride,  Found a really nice step stool that folds up  There were other stuff but too many people around so I gave up.  

I tried taking Angel out for a walk to the  park but she was having none of it.  I had to bribe her with jerky to get her  to go outside

Yeesh  TWO weeks of this

Kurt had school then an appt with Babb.  I am glad he has someone to talk to

HE IS RISEN KR departs for his Indonesian Trip

 The alarm woke me at 5 30 and Kurt was already up and in the shower.  He went to pick up Corrina for the Sunrise Service at KHC at 6 am.  It was great and many people were there and we saw a LOT OF PEOPLE WE KNEW.  Angel was pretty good

Kurt went up to Corrina's and KR cooked a great omelette and then we went to Branch of Hope Easter Service.

Lunch was left over chicken for him and I told him I upgraded him to Business for the first leg and he is so so excited.

He took a nap and I went for a ride.

We  spent a bit of time just sitting around talking and cuddling with the mutt

Jerome came by and we left for the airport at 5 30  KR went to the lounge and had some food and a shot of tequila and snuck out three beers for the boys and some granola bars.

He has 17A for a seat and he loved loved it   I asked him to FaceTime me and I saw the Lovely reclining chair, and the down blanket and his onboard orange juice

Restful Saturday

 If I dont  write  down  what   I did,  everything goes  away and  I  can't seem to remember

In  the morning,  KR  got  everything together for  his  trip and he didn't  walk  Angel.  His knee hurts.  We  went to FM and  he got a lot  of good lettuce and beets and cauliflower.  I gave away most  of the  stuff  and  the  mixed  salad was amazing,  fresh pieces of  different types of lettuce

I rode to Jon's and  gave  them  some

Then  we  all  went to the Fire  Road with Kurt and Angel and KR and we had a great  walk

Dinner was fried chicken and salad .  I cooked he fried chicken

GOOD FRIDAY

 4/7/2023  It was GOOD today.  Dizziness still the  same but my rib / ligament is  feeling better.  I   did laundry, just the pet bed that Fariba dropped off and Kurt's blankets.  Kurt had school and KR weeded.   

KR's knee is really bothering him.  So I  took Angel to Lego Saco park after I picked up the possum trap.

YUP,, the possum is BACK.  Or something tore off the covering  of the roof line and was munching away in  the  attic

I went riding around.   6.5 miles and I  walked 1.6 miles

We went to South Bay Community Church for Good Friday service.  It was VERY nice

I   upgraded KR's first leg of  the trip,  LAX to SIN.    Don't even ask  how much. 

I am gonna miss him a lot

Thursday and it is a work day

 I was up early and got to office early.  It was not a crazy day.  KR came about 11 15 and did my teeth, 9, 10, 23. 24 all incisal  Feels so much better now.  I chipped them after he did them months ago.  BITING my nails of course of something

I cant remember what  I did in the afternoon but went biking at 4 30 for 6.5 miles.  Didn't see anything in the alleys.  

We had the last of the ribs KR made for dinner.  Kurt worked all day

Meeting or NO Meeting Wednesday

 So I got 9 hours of sleep last night.    KR went to walk Angel and I went to the office meeting.

Except there  was NO office meeting.   Maribel said it was talked about last month that there was no  meeting  as Dr Sata  was out of  town.  I came home. 

KR was home  soon after.  I  hung  the  laundry.  Angel peed on my blanket yesterday so I  washed mine and  Kurt's

He  had  school and then work.

We went to the Fire Road.  I went for a bike ride.  Nothing to be had in  the alleys

I  was in bed by 8 15  WORK  tomorrow

Easy Tuesday

 I like it when  it i s  easy  Still dizzy although this morning for a minute I thought it was gone

KR had early morning Bible study and I was actually up when he left at 5 45  I cleaned and did a bunch of stuff  I can't remember what  but he came  home and we went to the beach to walk Angel down at he sand

We went to FM and got a bunch of kale and carrots  I gave away all the stuff just about

I had a almost 10 mile ride

We went to Brew's Hall for dinner with the Ackerman and Gooch

Bible Study got canceled.  George is not feeling well

Monday

 I had  to work for Dr Sata today so  I  wasa t the  office by 8 am

It was  BUSY   and  we  were  done at  6  Dr  Tim Tran,t he  new extern is  not bad  We also have  another volunteer who is applying to  hygiene  school.  She  was a teacher first,then decided to  do something else

KR was  home all day and went t o Costco and bought stuff and cooked the  kalbi ribs and rice

I had some  and read  some  Bible.

Kurt also came   in to get tooth #3 OB  cavity done.   I also did  some other sealants 

He  had appt with RObert Babb today

Sunday

 Well, I am still dizzy.  And I wonder if that is making me type weird, like there is always two spaces when there was only one before.

I am still on .5 klonipin and 10 mg amitriptyline  but not much is helping

We walked Angel to the park.  She has a swollen paw on the left middle toe.  Then we went to church.  I sat in the side next to the wall so I can lean against the wall  still the reverberated sounds drove me nuts.

I also did laundry before we left so I  hung them out to dry  One was a duvet that I got out of the trash.  Why do people throw o many things away?  Because they can't be bothered to donate.

I  went  to pick up the  thin  mattresses  that Maria was giving  away.  Then I took the compost bin  to the Lomita Harbor  Rock, plus the table top compost bin, and some other stuff Maria was giving away.  

I cooked turkey burgers for dinner.  I  could  not  eat much

Still at 110 POUNDS

I went to  bed by  8 30  WORKING TOMORROW 

Saturday Matt Huey's Memorial

 So a  few days ago  Susan text me that Matt's memorial was today.   I guess the cancer  came back and killed him.  He was always such a 'big' person and now  he is gone.  Susan is only 60.  She must be so so  sad.  I  didn't stay for the whole thing  It was getting me so so dizzy in  the chapel the  reverberated ceilings 

We were up  early and went to Hickory Park as KR needed to go to church.  We had a very nice walk

I  did laundry and cleaned and paid bills  

KR came back and we went to the FM.  Only got some strawberries. 

I rode around and got two lamps and a bag of recycling and a blanket and a foam roller

Kurt was at work most time today.  Corrina came over and I gave her the pink bikini
