working Thursday H 79 L 58

 t didn't feel like 70 today.  I slept in the other room and coughed throughout the night.  I actually got 7 hour and 45 min of sleep with sleep score of 75.  Hmmm, i thought it would be worse.

I was in the office at 6 50 and it was busy.  Johanna came down with the flu, wanting to throw up, and her dad picked her up and she went to get tested for flu and Covid.

KR came in and worked on Daniel Castillo #8, which he filled years ago, but got chipped again.  KR did a great job.  Clay and Cole came in and they were suppose to be at the office at 9 and didn't show up until 9 30.  Royale really mess with them, and was chewing them out about not brushing, and using bad word like 'shit' in front of them.  That is not cool in my eyes.

I did SDF on both kids and we will figure out how much to charge them, as Clay has beginning cavities on the mesial of 3 out of 4 perm molars.   Jeez

I left at almost 1 and did not take a nap.  I biked 6.3 miles.  Then I did some stretching, and hip opening poses to get my hip more mobile.

We went to Norm's for dinner.  KR had porterhouse and I had steak and shrimp.  It was very good and the total bill was 45 bucks.  I used all of the rest of the DirectTV rebate, and left a 10 dollar tip.

I was COUGHING ALL DAY LONG.  Takes at least a full benedryl PLUS the cough medicine to get the coughing under control.

THIS IS REALLY KILLING ME, to be coughing and dizzy and headache.

MRI Wednesday H 69 L 57

 KR went to the other bed to sleep last night as maybe I have to tonight.  I am coughing all day, and none of the meds are helping.

I was up at 5 30, leaving about 5 40 for my 6 30 appt in Beverly hills MRI at Mink's imaging on Wilshire.  It was not hard to  find, and I had to pay parking five dollars.

After I counted to about 5000, the thing finally stops.  I go to the office and KR met me there at 8 doing my front teeth, 8/9 incisal, plus 24/25/26 incisal too.  They feel so much better.  Who is going to do my dental work after I quit at the office?

We came home and 'wink/wink', even with my cough.  KR went to walk Angel.  I found out the dishwasher won't drain, but with YouTube university found that the dishwasher plug was not removed, so it could not drain.  A few taps later it was all good.  I had to rinse all the food down, of course.

I cooke some bacon and tuna, and made KR a tuna fish sandwich.

KR took a nap.  I tried, but no go.  I went running for about 3.5 miles.  Not too slow.  All about 10 minute mile.  My head hurts a lot from coughing all day.  My throat tickled all day and I just dont' know what to do.  

Tuesday H 67 L 56 Sleep score only 75

 I thought I would have better sleep score, but....  alas was not to be  I only got up to pee, once, I believe but the score is only 75 but I did get 8 hours of sleep

KR of course went to his Bible Study early, then went to get a garbage disposal.  The one we have started leaking water on the bottom.   He got one from Ace and put it in.  Now I see on YouTube you can fix the leak.  HAHAAH   Maybe I will get it out of the trash at mom's and try to fix it.

Then he went to FM.  Got all kinds of kale and radish and cauliflower and stuff.  

Kurt was suppose to work and he over slept and was about 15 min late.  Said he didn't get written up but jeez really?  He had to ask me to get his clothes hung.  And then there was a lot of Corrina's clothes too.

After his dried, I had to hang my load too.  

I also picked up all the stuff from Lisa D and drove down to the Harbor Animal Shelter and donated bags and bags of stuff.  I stopped at the Sanitation place but they were only taking EWaste on Saturday and Sunday.  I could not find that on the website.  So I came home with the weed whacker and other stuff.

I cleaned the garage a little, at mom's and hung the chicken curtains too there in the front bathroom.

I rode to get the blanket from Vanderhill street and nearly got in a BAD accident with an EBiker.  I was coming out of Villa Hermosa florist and this guy comes FLYING down Anza 'ON THE SIDEWALK' and just about took me out.  I nearly peed in my pants.

Corrina came by to drop off some food, her frig went out.  We have too much food.  Sarah dropped off some yummy curry and some mashed potatoes El Pollo Loco.

Went to bed by 9

Memorial Day 2024 H 68 L 55 5/27/2024

 Happy Memorial day

We were up, but me not too early.  Was really dizzy yesterday, today is a  little better.  Saturday almost no dizziness and I thought it was GONE!!   WRONG

Today is a little better.  We walked Angel down at the beach.  I ran up and down the inclines.  KR went to the sand.  We then went to the NH party and had a hot dog and chatted with many people, like Scott/Leslie, Bob/Maggie, and others.

We came home and went to the Gooch's.  I made a salad.  They had a lot of very good food.  Sandwich makings, pasta salad, 7 layer bean thing, and we saw the Francis, Oneill's, and when I went back for my bowl I saw the Ackerman's and Donna Whitehead.  

We came home and I went for a ride.  Didn't see anything in the alleys.  Went back to pick up my bowl and then to Christine's to pick up some sandals.  Very nice Clark.  

Kurt came home and dropped stuff off.  Took a shower and ate some and went up to Corrina's

Sunday

 We walked the dog Veteran's park and there were so many  squirrels Angel was very happ.  We went to church.  KR dropped me off and went back for  Q & A.  They never got to his question, which  was about Him and him.  He had egg salad for lunch that I made.  

KR also made a sifting box for Grace across the street.  He also started trimming the bulbs but got too tedious so he quit.

I cooked a bunch  of chicken thighs and pork chop on the grill.  Then Patty gave us her left over pork chop from San Francisco.

We were thinking of watching a movie but we went to bed instead.

Saturday 5/26/2024 H 67 L 55

 It was  not  May gray, the  sun was out  most of  the day.  We were up and KR took Angel down to the beach.  I didn't want to go as I wanted to ride and my knees.  Just never know how they would hold up.

KR weed whacked the yard and the battery did't last the whole front and back.  However we  don't know if the thing was fully charged.

I had a terrible night sleep.   Kept coughing and no matter what I took, just seems to keep spitting up phlegm.  

We  went to  FM while Will worked.  He came at 10 45 and  just  s at outside in  his car.  I told him he should ask his boss always  when he is early if  he should   clock in early, to  show that he  really wants the job.  JEEZ  doesn't he know that?  I gave him a chicken salad sandwich for lunch and  off he went to Grace's for four hours of work.

I rode over to Jon's and delivered a kitty litter bucket of chicken poop.  Yuan Yuan was there.  Jon probably out riding.

We went to the Fire Road to walk Angel.  She didn't seem to want to walk.

I cooked chicken soup with cauliflower and onion and bell peppers.  I think Mary left some frozen vegetables at mom's and  I brought  them over to use.  KR had chicken leg with tofu chicken soup for dinner, plus a glass of the red wine I had found in the alley that was pretty good.

We were thinking of watching a movie.  However, by the time all was done, we just read and went to bed.

Easy Friday Memorial Day Weekend D 66 L 57

 I managed to sleep in until about 6 30 without getting up to pee more than once.  Still the watch would not give me a sleep score.,  KR consistently get better sleep than I.

He took  Angel down  to go to  Veteran's Park and came right back.  She did not want to go !!!!

I stayed home and changed HOA association  pay to the new platform.    We  then went over  the Trust  documents  from Tom.  There are  a few typos, but over all we understand.  

KR had  some egg sandwich  I  made, plus soup  with tofu.   He  took a nap,  I did not.  Grace text me saying that Will was suppose to work there today, and he is a no show at 1 10 PM.  I called Diamond and she said his phone got turned off again for non payment, and just got turned back on.  GEEZ

She drove him to work and we had a long talk.   KR woke up and took Angel to the Fire Road for a walk.  I went for an 8 mile bike ride, while Diamond worked on her computer waiting for will to be finished.  Will is suppose to be working here around 11 am and then to Grace's at 1

He is not too active on getting started with Lowe's and also that he is not pursuing Starbucks.  We tried to talk to him about getting two part time jobs.  He is just not that  thrilled.

I cooked fab pork chops and green  beans for dinner,.  KR added some sourkraut and it was amazing.

WORKING Thursday BUT NOT FOR KURT

Kurt took a personal day and I told him to come in and see me he got all  huffy about interrupting his 'day off' so he made an appt and then canceled it.  It  was actually so busy that I was glad. 

What a day.  I was up and early and got to work.  The schedule didn't look that busy but there was only me and Mary and Maribel.  Johanna only comes Monday through Wednesday, so we were busy.   The crown on Maribels cousin Salvador was too light, like I told them would  be but  he  says to cement it.  Yup, will be way lighter when he is older as the teeth get darker.

The  gagging and spitting  and the   coughing  is getting  ridiculous.  I  left a msg for Dr Lee to  call me back as the  nose just keeps dripping, and I keep  coughing.  The back is better and i think:

MY  VERTIGO IS GONE !!!!

I left at 1 and went to Redbeam off of Sepulveda to pick up  the chicken curtains.  

I went for a run of 2.3 miles at 10 min mile.  Not bad.  I saw some candy in the alley so I stopped and walked home with a bag of M&M and bubble gum, the sugar kind.

Then I biked the neighborhood and only for 24  min.

We had bible study.  Christian brought sushi and there were only five of us.  Mike, George, Christian, me and KR.  We had a great study on 1st commandment.

Weent to bed rather late 10 pm

Wednesday and dinner with David Strelitz

 So we were both  up  early, and  did not get enough  sleep.  We went down to the  sand to walk Angel.  I   ran along the water line and we saw a red fox on the fence of one of the big houses.  

My hip  and kneews were pretty good.  

Angel had chased a possum last night  and it must have bit her on the lip.  She bled all over the top sheet  and  the comforter, so I had to use Stain Away and cold water and got all the blood out.  KR went to buy the extender for the  broken sprinkler outside, and he changed it.  He also started two bird houses.  He said  it was a pain as one of the pieces of wood kept splitting.  

He tried taking a nap, but could not sleep.  I went for a bike ride.  It was not very long, and there was nothing to be found in the alleys.  Not even five miles.

We walked to the park and when we got back David was here.   We went  to Chicken Maison and I had sole and so did David.  KR had salmon.  It  was very g ood.

We were  in  bed by  8  30

Tuesday 5/21/2024 H 67 L 54

First time in a long time the sun was up when I woke up, about 6 20.  Sleep score was only 79.  Angel came to bed late and woke me.

Kurt went to  work  and I  did  a load of  laundry.  Doug  came by and we talked for over an hour.  He was at Kyle's house and is going fishing today.  He said Shirley has dementia and is sleeping almost 12 hours a day.  That does not sound normal.  

I had an appt with Tom Kawakami and picked up our trust docs.  

I picked up the bins and book Angel to Wilson Park/Farmers Market.  She saw maybe only 3 squirrels.  

I biked about  7  miles, slow.  Kurt came home for maybe 20 minutes between  sessions.  Sarah  dropped some food off, noodles and meat and I had  that for dinner.

Talked to KR when  he was in  Houston.  The  weirdest thing, they had to go through custom and out of  immigration and re-enter security.  What a hassles.   

Monday and I forgot to post

I realize I have been keeping a diary for years and years.  I looked in the closet and I have many books of  written diaries.  So many that I didn't want to look through.  So I told KR  that I will do it when I feel like it.

He has been drinking a LOT on this trip.  Like at least a six pack every day, I think.  Oh well,  at least he was not driving.  Hopefully he will quit when he is back.  Oh well, he will s tart vaping again.....

I took Angel down to the beach to walk.  We saw Natalie, but Angel decided to QUIT when she was on her way back.  This nice lady Darcy said she would hold Angel and I can run to get the car.  That is what I  did.  GEEZ really?

Andrea and Maribel cleaned and I cleaned of course. 

In the afternoon, I went for a  8.44 mile ride.  Very slow.  My knees were hurting me when I was done.  Versa says  I  went for a walk at 7 but  don't remember where I went.

Kurt had work almost all day.   He was home about 4 15. 

Will had an interview with Lowe's this morning.  I was trying to get him to come and work.  Diamond said they are talking about finances.  

Went to bed about  9 30

Sunday and the LONG drive out to Temecula

 I was up early and and took Angel to mom's  garage and picked up the Honda and drove to the park.  Angel was ok walking there trying to get to the three measly squirrels.   We came  home and I went  for a 7.8 mile bike ride and then it was time for  church.  I am only a little sore from the run yesterday.  Very good  that I went to the jacuzzi.  I  knew I won't  have time  later to do any exercise.  Except  I rode so slowly.

Aaron Davis was the sermon  giver and  it was good.

We came home and I cooked the tuna and some bacon and rushed out.  Yesterday  Map says would take 1.5 hours and today  it says TWO HOURS !!!!

WHAT?

I left by 12 20 and got there just a few minutes  late.  IT  WAS WEIRD

The  chant was

I finally came out and ate some shrimp and grapes and cheese and chicken wings.  Then the  cake was cut.  BUT what  about Happy Birthday and a candle?  I finally sang happy birthday.  I brought  a bag of books plus a baby blanket.  I  didn't see any other birthday gifts for Cade

I drove home and Kurt was on  his 4 hour nap  He  and Corrina had  taken Angel to the Service Road for a  nice long walk.

5/18/2024 Saturday ARMED FORCES 5K Run H 67 L 58

 Something happened to my back in the middle of the night and I had to put a diclofenec patch on.  I woke up early and the back is not too happy.  I went on the incline table at least 3 times.  I iced and wore back brace to go to the race.  We parked by Madrona School and saw Mike, plus Dan Harvey, and a few others.

The race started RIGHT on time.  It was hard.  My hip was hurting before mile 1.  I finished in 33 min.  According to RaceWire, 33:28.  Man it was hard.  Kurt beat Mike by 2 seconds.  Mike has  not been  running much,  and was not doing too good.

We got SO MUCH LOOT.  Amazing.  We also got breakfast from the rotary club but I didn't eat it.  Kurt  had the pancakes and sausages.  We came home and I immediately went to the jacuzzi.  Felt so much better and took a shower.  

Kurt went  to sleep, for over four hours.  He didn't want to go to FM with me.  SAD.  I asked Will to come over early he said  he could not.  He was working for Grace in the afternoon.  Said he has an interview with Home Depot Monday and he will come and do some work here.  

Kurt went to  Corrina for Game Night, so I am here by myself for a few hours.  Kurt took Angel to the park for a walk.  

Friday and I clean the linen closet

I went to bed by  8 40 and was up at 6.  The sleep score was 72  Guess  just not too good without KR.

I read some more of the diary but it just seems so tedious, so I gave up.  I got up to the linen closet and took a bunch of  stuff out.    The sheets that I don't need and the towels that need to be given away.   I also took down many Christmas  stuff as I  had accumulated  so many bags and boxes, I need to d ownsize.  

I did  stretching for half hour, then walked Angel to Veteran's Park.  Only 3 s-things.  Kurt went to work early and I stopped and got some enchiladas and a bottle of margarita for him.  On sale for 11 dollars.  Everything is so much  more expensive. 

I picked up the race packet from Village Runner, by HT Grill and came home.  I then rode my bike to  Mike's to give him the t shirt and his number.  I rode around the alleys.  NOTHING to be had.  

I tried to nap, but was unsuccessful.

Went to bed early, so as to get ready for the race.

Kurt went up to corrina's for a bit but was home by 9

CDA convention and NO WORK Thursday H66 L58

 I don't think the sun came out more than FIVE minutes today.

I had such  lousy sleep.  It felt like I didn't sleep at all but  the watch says I did.

Angel was on the other bed and came over in the middle of the night,  Don't think she slept well either.  Kurt went to work early and Corrina was here over night and she took Angel out for a walk and Angel would not go.  So she had to drive to the  park.  I washed the shower curtain in bleach water in the washer, and then Kurt's two blankets.   I also picked up a rug in the alley and one of the corners was really dirty and I washed it and will give away.

I read some more of my diary, and it is not clear who I am referring to often.  Don't k now what KR is talking about that should be destroyed.  So what if Kurt read about it years later.  His mother is his  mother.   

I brought stuff over to the garage, and got the hinges from lady on NextDoor who wants a bird house.  

I also rode the bike around, not too much exercise.  Tried to do more stretching to the internet.  I think  that would help with my flexibility.   

Got a hold of  Arce office.   The  receptionist  said the office is closing and she was  just told yesterday. Geez.  Anita had gone over there and she  said it looks  like they were closing.

Kurt came home and had Lovely dinner made by Freda.   I drove over to her house and picked up  the  MacBook that she fixed.  She also cooked some kale soup. 

KR is having a great time in Nicaragua.  Drinking a lot of beer.  I saw maybe 50  bottles  that were  consumed and 50 more to go !!!   They were having snapper  for dinner, or something.

The  office  went to the  convention.

Wednesday and home alone H 66 L 57

I wore both watches to sleep last night and one gives me a 82 sleep score Versa 4, and the other a 78.  I wonder which is more correct.  The time(s) very similar.  Kurt went to work early and I went to pick up the baby blanket that I  got on BNT and wrapped it for Cade this weekend.  I gotta  drive out to Temecula.

Kurt went to work  and I had diarrhea.   What to expect,  since I ate half a bag of that jalapeno peppers and it happened four days ago too.  I spoke with Aracely and decided on giving up on the MacBook.  Freda said she can come and pick up and try to reinstall High Sierra.  A man has gotta know his limitations!!

I cooked the Brussel sprouts and cleaned the dishwasher filter and did a general cleaning in preparing for work tomorrow.  The day was cloudy most day and I finally took Angel out to walk after Freda came over.

Tuesday and All is Quiet on the Western Front H 69 L 57

 I was up at 5 30.  Could  not sleep without KR.  Angel NEVER came to bed last night, stayed on the other bed.  She is out of sort too.  I did a load of laundry.  Kurt was just leaving and his morning got canceled so he walked Angel at the park.  I drove them as I had to get some paperwork for Adele who is in Poland on business.  Neil is there too.

Kurt walked Angel home and I sorted through the paperwork for Adele.  Kurt hung the laundry and I started to try to get the MacBook Pro to work.   Well, it started making this 3 beep noise so I followed the tutorial online and took the back off and tried to clean the RAM and it didn't work, so I took Kurt's old laptop but it only had ONE ram, but in all the cleaning, my macbook started to work, and I tried to do a reset, but after it would not let me install OS High Sierra.  I was trying to update to Big Sur, but it is a no go.  After many hours, I gave up for the day.

I went riding and heard from KR.  He arrived ok, and had some kind of chicken dinner and went to bed.  The pool looks amazing and he will go surfing tomorrow.

Kurt had an early day, and was home by 4 30.

I went to FM and got at least 25 pounds of brussel sprouts.  I gave most of it away and will be cooking some tomorrow.

Monday and Bible Study (yup) and KR departs H 66 L 57

 So we were  up early saying our 'GOODBYE"   hahahahahah

Then it was online Bible study for KR with Chris and gang. Then he took Angel to the Fire Road high up, while I did  the sheets and  laundry.   He then packed  his clothes, the board bag was done already. 

Kurt went to work early.  Seems like he is getting close to 40 hours  a week.  Did not hear from Will if he got the Starbuck job.  I am praying he does.  He needs something regular.  He didn't come to see Grace either, as I didn't see his car across the street.  Dang what is  up?

At  about 5 we  get a call  from Kevin, who says the flight  was canceled.  He scrambled to book a 7 15 flight and was on his way to the airport when another text came and said that the original flight was back on,  JEEZ   I had   gotten  on the phone with United trying to route KR through Las Vegas to Houston to catch  the flight to Managua.  So all was well, and KR was in a tizzy for awhile.  He didn't even know Tim's  last name.  The other fireman.  Tim Gill.

Bible Study was on time, only George, Christian,   Karl S and Jerry and Anita plus the two of  us.  

Afterwards, I drove KR to Kevin's house  and his  wife drove  the three of  them to the airport.  Flipper had Jackie drive him.  

I didn't get to bed until 10 30.  Could not sleep.  

WHAT a Mother's Day 5/12/2024

 Natasha passed three years ago, Mothers Day and it was also May 12

Rocky texted me early, a coyote had killed a dog and ate the head half on his lawn.  A bunch of fur.  Actually the kill was elsewhere because there was no blood.  Poor pup.  I posted on NextDoor to see if it is someone's pup.

We were up and went to church.  Kurt actually bought flowers from the church fund raiser and got me a bunch.  I was so surprised, I cried.  Then he gets me a card, he actually bought one and wrote on it, a three fold card.  Then Will text and see if we were at home and he was coming over.  He bought a pop up card, of a garden, and wrote very little.  But hey, it is a start.

We then talked about getting Chinese food, Patty across the street and asked if we wanted Chinese left over.  WHAT????   GOD IS SO SO GOOD !!!!  So we had three dishes and fried rice and wonton soup and white rice.  It was so  much food.  We gave a bunch of to give to Will to take home.  I also gave Will James' old A9 phone.  He has a TracPhone and it is bad.  He says does not even scroll well.

KR took a nap and then took Angel to the Fire Road.  I went for a bike ride.  Tyler called and we had a nice chat.  However, he said Toby has nipped at Christian and the other dog, Hazel, does not get along well with Toby.  KR says that is a recipe for disaster.  I sure hope they don't have problems with the dogs.  

Kurt went up to Corrina's and they had a Mother's Day hike.  We went on 2019, over RPV.  

KR had a burger for dinner, and packed for his trip.

Saturday easy day 5/11/24 H 67 L 56

 KR took Angel for a walk at the beach and I stayed home.  I had to go to the warehouse sale at 9 so I didn't go.  KR also transfered bees early, tranplanted the passion fruit plant and Jerome came over to pick up the fig tree.

I got a rug and some socks and some more clothes so I drove to Steven's and dropped off five bags of clothes that I collected for him.  

I cooked cheeseburgers for lunch, plus some bacon.  Also went for a ride 10 miles !!!!!  Pretty slow.

I took the other Honda out for a drive.  Got air in the tire too.

We had a Lovely dinner with Helen and Corrina.  She asked us out and we went to Gataeno's Italian.  Very good.  Reservation was for 3 45.  So many people waiting.  

Friday Meeting with Diamond and Will

 So we were up early and I had a dream about Kathleen Roquemore off of 226th Street.  So weird.  We were in some college dorm room and that she got the bottom bunk and I got the top and I told her next semester I get the bottom.  There were lots of bunks, and some people didn't and I was hoping I was one of them.  The road was next to our window and was very noisy.

I text Kathleen and told her that.  So funny

KR took Angel for a walk.  As he was going out he saw a mama duck with 7 ducklings and he yelled at me to come out.  Long story short, we caught all the babies and mama flew over us and landed on the slow lane of Sepulveda, and ran over and got her ducklings over to the marsh.

Funny thing, Chuck said he rescued about a dozen and a mamma on Sepulveda this morning that was trying to cross Sepulveda.  But WE HAD THE VIDEO !!!!

Will came to work at 8 and he finished my car.  Wash, wax and vacuumed.  It looked so so nice.  BUT we don't know where my Prius floor mat went.  He went out to get lunch and then finished the yard.  We walked Angel to the park and then Diamond came and we had an hour of HEART to heart. We had left over for dinner, and then to bed.

The internet kept going out.

Kurt had work all day.

Thursday work , work and work .25 klonipin, again.

 I got to work and the schedule  is light, but I still didn't get out of there until 12 30, as I had to write  up some charts from January !!!  REALLY???

I did a full bonding on one of Maribel's brothers.  The big one.  He is having bariatric surgery in July or something.  He is morbidly obese, and does not have enough teeth, and needs endo.  As a matter of fact, her whole family needs more continuous care, and just don't come in  enough.

I fixed the cavitron tip, I fixed one of the doors in the lab that came  off the hinges, I tried to fix the other one, but  it was too hard on my knee, as the vertigo was BAD.  I felt really dizzy and when I got home, I took .25 klonipin, even though I was trying to wean off.

I got into it with Will, he called me and text me that he was here for work, but I had asked him yesterday if he was coming and he never answered.  So I assumed he was not coming to work.  KR got home about 10 and I guess he started then. 

I got so mad at him when I got home from work that he didn't bother to say if he was coming or not.  I just about fired him. 

Diamond text and said that they needed to talk, so I text Christine, and she said they just needed to get some stuff off their chests.  I guess.  So we set up a time tomorrow.  

I went running at 4 and made 2 miles of 23 minutes.  SO SO SLOW

Wednesday Screening at Hickory H 71 L 55

 KR went to meet with Phil B this morning and I went over to say goodbye to Patty and Tom.  They were driving back to Sacramento about 10.  I went to Hickory on my bike with my 2006 Hickory Track meet tshirt.  We worked from 9 - 12 15.  I went home to try to get Tracy's hubby's snore guard adjusted with our hex wrench but I think the screw is stripped.

I came home and was exhausted from this morning.  A lot of spinning.  I took .25 just to calm myself down and ate some lunch and took a nap for 1 hour and 20 min.  KR slept a little longer.

He then went and took Angel for a walk, as this morning, he went surfing right after meeting with Phil.

I went to the condo and reconnected the cameras that Will disconnected.  He had the gull to say that they got disconnected when he was dusting.  RIGHT !!!!  It has real tight connection, so that is not possible.  No wonder they laid him off at Amazon.  He said he had an interview today, and yesterday he was sick so I told him to take the day off.

We went out to dinner with Carole and Mike at Bluesalt Fish.  I had scallops and KR had seabass  They were really good.

Tuesday 5/7/2024

 So I have been cutting down on the klonipin for awhile.  First I just took .25 in the morning, then I lengthened the time between the doses.  First was 24 hours, then 36 hours and now every 48 hours.  So yesterday morning, Monday I took .25, and today Tuesday, I won't take any except amitriptyline I will take, and then tomorrow morning try another .25 and then quit.  It is May anyway, and like last time, it went away, I WILL TRUST IN GOD.

My eyes are better.  The right is still more swollen, but

Oreo is still not being liked by the other hens, so I let her out most of the day but she poops on the deck too much.

Will is still not done with the garden, except today I will have him do my car.  It is nice to have a Boy Friday.  

Kurt's computer is dying and he is really upset that he has not done a back up and is trying to get a new computer but he can't transfer everything as the computer has to have a full charge, so he is frustrated. The bottom line is that he does not like his job, but is not willing to do anything to get a new one.  So what is the solution?  No idea.

He has to figure out.

KR went to morning Bible Study.  I didn't get up until 6 20  

Mr Gray is so so adorable.  He is letting me pick him up to pet him.  Marmi is the one that is more skittish, even though he is the one that let us pet FIRST.

I gave Lovely 5000$ for mom care. 

I spent all morning cleaning the garage,  and it looks so much better.  Nice  and neat and now KR  can get  to his work bench.  It is full of his stuff.  I carted some stuff to mom's garage, and gave away the two dental small cabinets.

I got an appt for hand x ray at 1 so I stopped at Deviceland and bought the laptop that Kurt wanted.  The imaging center was downstairs from Coastal Ortho.  KR took a nap and then had a nice walk with Phil Traeger.  I didn't know he quit high school after two years and went to work.  WOW

Kurt ended up not liking his laptop, so he might go and get a bigger new one.  He said not charging fast enough.  RIGHT !!!  

KR had security training at church 6 - 7 30  I made shrimp and they had some left over.  

Oh, FM had a lot of lettuce and radish today and kale.  I gave most of it away.

Monday H 68 L 51

 What a day

So KR goes to Veteran's Park with Angel and I stay home and make Kurt's lunch and wait for Will.  Will was suppose to work for Teresa Ho but she canceled the last minute.  Said something about she cannot do 6 30 am, but I said Will can come at 1 she never answered.  That woman is weird, and her house seems like a mess!!!  Hoarder to the max.

I think she sleeps at the gym because she does not have water or sewer at her almost 2 million dollar house.

KR went to have blood draw at Dr Curt Lee.  Andrea and Maribel came to clean.  I took Kurt's laptop to Deviceland to have them look at the charging port.  I think that guy only wants to have it repaired, or a new one so he didn't supposedly look at the charging port.  Well, Kurt should have been taking care of his stuff, and dumping all the unnecessary files long ago.

So now he is on the hunt for a new laptop

We then went on a hike up to the higher Fire Road with Patty and Tom and gang.  Afterward we went to Gaya for lunch and we paid.  WHY not.  It was Korean BBQ and it was good.

We tried to nap, and Will woke us up as he forgot his phone.  He said he was done with Serenity Garden but not really.  He will come back tomorrow to do my car.  And to finish up.

Sunday H 65 L 53 WINDY !!!!

 It was very windy today, and cold.  Maybe because of the wind it felt much colder than 65

KR took Angel out and I stayed home and cleaned.  He had host duty and Kurt and I went later.  Sermon was on Luke.  We did not go to the fellowship meal.  We had meatloaf and left over brussel sprouts.  Kurt went back to sleep, etc.

I went over to mom's and tried to water, except Grant was there and I didn't know as he had migraine and did not go to the airport to pick up his sister.  So I don't know how many went to Sunland to the graduation ceremony.

KR had some left over chicken salad.

I finally spoke with Teresa and Will is going to work over there tomorrow, at 6 30 am.  Oh my

Saturday 5/4/2024 H 65 L 57

 It was cloudy almost all day.

We were up early.  I coughed several times at night and felt like I did not sleep too well.  However I got 8 hours of sleep and the sleep score was 80.  KR's was over 90, how does he sleep like that????  We went to the park and Angel chased a few s-things.  KR went to Valor to help with cleaning the school.  I was cleaning the garage and the house.  

Kurt and I went to FM and got a lot of broccoli.  Posted on BNT and no one wanted any, except two.  There were at least 15 pounds of it.  I cooked some for dinner.

Noon was spent at Lighthouse Community Church for Keith's graduation.  Patty and Tom's son Keith went to The Master Seminary and graduated and will be the youth pastor at that church.  It is so funny that Keith rents a room from Zack Kolton.  What a small world.  Zack is married and has a baby.  We had the taco truck lunch and it was great.  

KR went to KHC for Trak function.  June Ramirez, Matthew's foster mom, never called back as to whether M was going.  So KR just went.

I posted some of the stuff from Patty Lopez and this lady Cynthis Maria said she was coming this morning and didn't show up until 8 PM.  Christine Jung said Cynthis is a bit of a flake.  I will make sure not to pick her any more.

Friday Diane and Bob leave, the Fong's arrive H69 L58

 So we thought Bob and Diane were leaving at 8 30 so we left to go walkt he pup at Veteran's Park.  They text that they left at 7 15 as Bob was getting antsy.  So we stopped at Ralphs and got the Fong's some food

Will came and it took him the WHOLE DAY TO WASH AND WAX and vacuum KR's car.  REALLY???

No shampooing of the carpet. 

The Fong's arrived at 3 20 and I took them over there.  

We went out to eat at Black Bear Diner  The four of us had prime rib, and the three kids, Francine, Grant and Greg had something else, like burgers.  It was YUMMY

Kurt had work all day and he went out with friends.

Hickory had its HOEDOWN tonight.  I saw them setting up

What a working day, Connie Pena's Memorial

 So I didn't have to start at 6 45 abut I should have.  Collin, tracy's hubby was my first patient.  His snore guard does not fit after he got a new bridge done on the upper left.  I thought I could melt it, and fit the bridge, but no go.  I ground the left side hallow and then used some flow composite to get it to 'grab' the teeth more, and they actually fit. 

Tracy took the impressions for a new one and we went to Puche.

Then Dr Addie had to do the filling as I was so so busy.

Salvador Chavez came and we decided to do a full crown.  I had to figure out how to get the MB cusp filled in to take a template imp, and what a hassle.  KR came at 10 30 and I didn't get to him until 11.  I didn't leave until 12, and the memorial started at 12

We got to Red Onion and everyone was eating, and the program was going on.  DANG

We sat off to the side and the reverberation was bad and I was dizzy and my back still hurt and my eyes are still swollen.

We had tacos and rice and beans and two kinds of enchiladas.  KR had a shot of tequila and gave him enough courage to speak about Connie.

I had this BAD nightmare about KR wanting to divorce me and the fish from Finding Nemo were standing on the sand by the beach and KR was driving crazy.

JEEZ

I did not sleep well at all.  I felt like I got NO sleep.  However, the watch said I got some.  It was so poor sleep that I didn't get a sleep score.

Wednesday and Diane and Bob arrive

 We had office meeting but I told the girls that I have doctor appt at 10 15.  It was but I changed it to 8 am so I was there and Dr Moy removed the steri-strips and the sutures.  All look pretty good.  I have some bruising on my cheeks hopefully they improve tomorrow so the girls won't ask me at work what happened.

I went over to the condo and oiled the table and now it is ready to go.

KR went surfing and had a great time.

I cooked some spaghetti sauce with meat sauce and KR had it like a sloopy joe.  Will was here at 9 15 and left at 4. He did a lot of weeding in the back and then cleaned the gutters. Said his back was sore weeding.  

What is he going to do tomorrow?  More weeding.  He is suppose to work for Rocky tomorrow afternoon.  

We went to chicken Maison for dinner.
