Sunday Church day

 We were up early.  No noise from the boi and Corrina after one text.  KR went to church first, host  duty  and I ran there after.  We walked Angel at the  beach.

Lunch was courtesy  of  Patty Lopez.  They had eggs and chorizo with tortillas and we got their left over.  It was so so good.  Then  they brought over some Chinese left over and we sent over two lobsters, frozen, from KR's dive.

Kurt supposedly had Pearl Harbor and then to the swap meet.  They  had  couple of conversations with  Kathy and Mac, and then Adam but never heard from them again 

We went to Fire Road to walk Angel and had left over dinner.

Kurt/Corrina Trip Saturday DAY 1

Kurt woke me at 4 19 am and Corrina and  Helen  came soon after.  We got everything in the car and off we went to the arport.   There was a lot of cars on the road  that early.   They checked in and  headed to the gate and I came home.   KR went back to sleep.  Ollie was here and he and Angel had a little fun.  Ollie   then went  home with  Helen

KR and  I  went  to   upper trail Fire road with A ngel.  Then it was FM, and KR went to Costco before that and got gas and bought some dog food, etc.  We got a LOT of romaine lettuce from FM and I ate a bit of it.  I tried to nap  but could not.  KR did nap

He took Angel to the beach, and decided NOT to dive tonight.

Kurt and Corrina arrived and had a nice time at their 'hotel'

Easy Friday Lobster opening night 6 PM

 Well, it was interesting.

We went down to the beach to walk Angel and then I went to the yoga class.  Kurt was up and packing.  Corrina came by with Helen and they went out to lunch.  I also went for an 8.7 mile bike ride all around town.  Also stopped at Ralphs for sandwich and salad for his food tomorrow.

KR got a lobster card and then another head light for his dive trip toight.

Kurt left a vape pen, in the wash but it was POT AND WE TOLD HIM THROW IT OUT !!!!

He did and said he was going through withdraw from smoking pot.

HOW MUCH WAS HE DOING?

He said he will quit otherwise MOVE OUT.

I prayed alot about it. and it is best he moves out if he is nnot obeying the rules.

I helped him pack and he is almost ready for tomorrow.  They are  bringing everything, but the kitchen sink.

KR came home from Lunada Bay and  limited  on his lobsters.   One was pretty big.  He was thrilled.  I  text Jeff and he is picking up three tomorrow.  The rest we froze.  KR will take some to the ranch later October for his  trip.

We  finally  went  to bed a t 10 pm

Working THursday H 71 L 57

 KR had to wake e up about 5 45.  I drank coffee and went to work.  The first patient was Maribel Chavez.  I cemented her crown.  Fits well.  It was busy until 12 30.  KR came at 10 and I cemented his crown too. The cost of the lab bill:  

OVER 500 DOLLARS !!!

You gotta be kidding me.

KR had fish tacos and I had the pork chop he cooked.  He was asleep when I came home.  I went for a bike ride.  Got some sodas from the alley.

The trash guys picked up everything !!!!!

Kurt did laundry  and  found a POT PEN in the pocket of his pants!!!!

We asked him if he wants to move out.  He continues to smoke pot when we said he won't when he lives here.  Maybe he should move to Corrina's.  I like having him here but he needs to get motivated and to do something about his life!!!

KR took Angel to the golf course for a walk and I went to Y for a class

Hump day Wednesday

 So  since we brought the new mattress up  last night, we 'broke' it in tonight.  The whole neighborhood will be bringing their sofas and what not inn front of our house for a large item pick up tomorrow.

Kurt says  "Where did all this  stuff come from?"   I told him  I announced to BNT and everyone brought something over

Chuck's bistro tables and chairs were taken in a flash.

Kathleen's bench  was gone too

Almost all the dragon fruit cuttings were gone too

I went to the strength class, which was kind of different.  All these Y  classes are making  my   joints hurt but I guess ok.

I am taking the tummy  meds twice a day.  Pantoprazole is what I am taking.  15 bucks from CVS.  Let's see what happens after three months.

KR pruned the guava tree in the back.

We sat outside on the sofa's and had a glass of wine while the neighbors drove back and  forth  and we waved at them.

Tuesday and the sun barely came out

 KR had his Bible study  and I went to the Y for a little weigh work out.  We took the dog to the beach then went back for the yoga class that I did NOT sign up for, just bandit it.  HAHAHA

It was pretty hard class but I did it

I cooked the fish and KR had for lunch.  He took the dog back to the hill and I tried to nap.  I didn't   I went to Kathleen's house and brought her bench back that she wanted to get rid of, put on the front with free sign.  Our large item pickup  is THursday

Jaime Murray came by and they had a beer or two and then went to Denny's for dinner

Monday and Clean day

 I always like it when Andrea comes.  KR had his morning  group  and then went with the dog to walk.  I went to yoga.  It was Maureen and was great at the big room

Then I called Farmers to increase the deductible on the condo to decrease the premium.  I  paid a bunch of bills and confirmed the large item pickup.

The mattress came and we put it downstairs to air out.  The smell was not bad.  

I also went to the  bank to withdraw mom's money and then to deposit the extra cash from our trip.

Angel Go and I met at Mitsuwa for dinner.  I had curry a nd she had ramen

I came home and had KR help me load the recliner and took it to a lady in  Lawndale, Ashley.  She wanted it and I didn't want it to end up in the land fill

Sunday mostly Funday H 73 L 62

 Early  morning  I went w KR to walk Angel at the beach.  Then it was church.  KR and I drove and Kurt drove as KR stayed for Q&A  and Kurt  and I went home.  I went for a ride.  Not much to be had except some car mats.  KR had some left over and went to nap.

Kurt napped for OVER FIVE HOURS !!!!

We went to Jeff's to pick up fish and then to Hess park with Corrina and Olive to walk Angel.  Kurt didn't wanna go.

We passed out Jeff's fish and got pepper steak from Patty.

OH LIFE IS GOOD

Saturday Cloudy H 72 L 62

 It was not too hot today. 

We were up and KR took Angel to walk service road while I stayed home.  We went to the Refinery  Open House off of 190th street.  It was very interesting to tour the refinery.  We then had a hot dog, plus a lot  of other food, cookies, popcorn, chips, they also had ice cream, and games and all sort of other booths.

We came home and KR took a nap and then went to Kings Harbor Church for TRAK reunion, 25th years of celebrations.  I drove down to Wilmington to see Kurt's Saturday work, which was kind of like a fair and was pretty large.  Kurt had the terrarium booth.  He had to help the participants make terrariums with small plants and all.  It was very interesting to go see him ;at work;

Kurt was very tired coming home.  He  had be at the park at 8.

Corrina came over to see Kurt and to see what kind of suit case they should  take. 

Easy Friday

 After we WOKE up, KR walked Angel and I went to Yoga.  First time for awhile, and it was good.  So this makes third class in a week.

I also went on a bike ride in the afternoon for just 4 miles.

I woke up very skinny, 106.7 pounds.

We went to Claudia's old house for a party.  She is back and is house sitting her old place.  We took Angel and  Betty the resident dog, was NOT happy.  It was nice to see all the  old friends of Claudia.  

We left after I ate way too much food.  KR made  scallops/shrimp pasta, and   there was  so much food.

Kurt worked all day and stayed home as he had  to work tomorrow.

Slow working Thursday H 72 L 62

 I was up but not too early.  

Dr Lauren was there.  Many  no shows.  Kurt;s coworkers came and had a look see at the office.  

I took an hour nap.  Very tired.

Went for a bike ride and then a class at the Y 5 pm core classes.  Kyle Johnson was good.

KR had a Valor meeting at 11 30 and got home about 2 30

WHAT happened to Wednesday?

 I don't know

Guess I got up.  Walked the  dog at the beach.  KR  went on a bike ride with Phil.  I stayed home and did what?  Hmmmm  

After he went to nap, I went for a bike ride.

Then I went to a class at the Y

YUP, I rejoined the Y and have been going to classes.

Forgot to wear my watch to bed so no idea about sleep

Tuesday H 72 L 58 BIBLE study

 We are not  havinng any more summer that is for sure.

I could not sleep  so was up by 5 30.  KR went to his class and I went  to the Y for a  short work out.  I am going to be sore tomorrow.  There are several new machines, one of which is the stair climber that I really like.

He went to try to surf, no go.  Then he took Angel to the service road.  I stayed home.  I went  to El Super and bought a bunch of meat.  Monica, Megha and I met at Philz coffee and we talked about my exit strategy.  They ar e ok with i t.

Came home and  tried to sleep.  NO  GO.  Went for a bike ride.  Found a case of pineapple juice, small cans, expired but oh very good.

Cooked chickens and vege soup.

Bible study with new people.

 9/16/2024

H 71 L 62

Too cold.  This whole week low 70's then next Monday  81.  Where is the summer?

KR had group and I went to Anza street to pick up the back brace.  Then KR walked Angel.  I went biking.  Then went to Dr Sata's lunch thingy and had a great time.

I tried to nap.  NO GO

We had dinner with Carole and Mike at the Brew Hall.  

Kurt drove all the way  out to Antelope Valley for work.  Carpool with s omeone 

Sunday Church and Concert

 We go walk Angel at the beach  and then KR has host service.  Kurt and I are LATE !!!  AGAIN

Then KR stays  for Q & A and we come home.  I didn't nap.  I had 9.5 hours of sleep  last night.  I did run for 2.5 miles in t he alley and then went back to pick up  this Roomba thing that does not work too well.

I am giving it away

Then I drove to the concert.  Kathy had gotten there  so early she  had front row seat.  Vivien had a great voice and the synthesizer thingy that they have now is so so  interesting that you can  make your own back ground sounds and then fade in and out.

I drove home and went straight to bed.

SATURDAY

 DON'T REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED

Well, KR had a Dave and Buster day  with Matthew annd Zyrek  annd Tommy  or something  like that. 

When  you don't post for days you  just don't remember and it is now Monday   evening.

I drove up  to Santa Monica thinking the concert is tonight with  Vivien Teng, but it is not.  I text Kathy s aying I am  here and she  siad it is TOORROW

I go home and  go  to bed.

Friday and it is ENDOSCOPY !!!! *

Yup, finally here.  I was gonna run there, but we ran out  of  time, 'wink'.  I should h ave as I had  to wait and wait.

Got the paperwork over with and the office was so so so cold.  I asked the girl how long before they call me and she said 10 - 15 so I went for a 1.15 mile run.  Well, got back and had to wait another hour !!!!!  

I SHOULD HAVE RAN ANOTHER THREE MILES

The procedure was interesting.  You wear a gown, taking off the top.  The IV is started and you lay on your  left side with your leg over one another and bite into a bite block that was almost square in the front of your teeth  and the strap keeps it in place behind your neck.  The propofol goes in and you a re out and then like a blink of an eye, you are back to LIFE.

Dr Sze was the doctor doing the scope.  It was her birthday so I thought the staff, Michael the nurse anesthetist and the LVN Kurt how to sing Happy  Birthday in Chinese and  we sang to her. 

HAHAHAHAH

She came to talk to me and said NO ULCERS to be seen.  Dang.  Now What

KR picked me up and I was home and he went to lunch with Danny and  Howard.  EXCEPT Danny forgot and he went to eat with Marisa.

He  brought me back a kalbi rib or two, and I had some but was not feeling  well after I ate.  I didn't feel well the whole day but could not nap.  KR slept for over three hours !!!!

He had left over burger for dinner and I didn't eat.  Maybe a dragon fruit.  We walked to the park.  Me very gingerly.   Queasy a nd  nauseous all the way.

Matther's foster mom June Ramirez died.  They are going out to Dave and Buster's tomorrow.  So sad.

Mom B's checks to me and  KR bounced.  The bank called Alden to verify and he was teaching so he could not answer the phone. Geez.  We got it straightened out.  

I am 107.3 after  the poop this  morning.  Got  back from the safari at 109.  Not bad with all you can eat.

Tiring work day 9/12/2024 H 76 L 61

 So the heat wave is over.

So many parents complained about the 90 degree two days.  I guess we are all so spoiled.

I got a lot of sleep last night.  Passed out early, about 8 hours  the f irst  time, 7 42 last night a nd up at 5 26 this morning for work.  I also napped from 2 30 to about 5.  

KR came to do Robert's root canal and he did a beautiful job.  Four canals and all to apices.  Robert smelled like weed.  Jeez.  I also cemented Maribel's crown and prepped 15 for another crown.

It was light schedule but I was exhausted and came home and  ate a little, finished  the left over El Burrito Junior and we all slept. 

Kurt came home early again from work.

KR did some yard work and I went for a ride eccept the watch  won't do GPS again, so I don't exactly  know  how far.

He went to the jacuzzi and I took a shower here and went to bed by 8

Wednesday H 75 L 59

 It sure cooled down fast.  TOO cold for me

We were up, but not too early.  I am still foggy  and  tired.  We took a long nap.  Went  up to Fire road with  A ngel and I cooked some bacon and Kurt was late to work.  He said it was the dogs fault for waking him up early and  his  alarm didn't wake him

He got off early like 1 45. 

We went to the park.

I went for a short run when KR went to get his tire checked.  Ends up he had a nail in it.

I was in  bed by  8

Tuesday Bible Study H 77 L 66

 Not too hot today, but I am just exhausted.

KR had bible study  and I slept in  I am sure I went biking  but the watch would not do any GPS so I think it  was the regular alleys.

I did go to mom's to water and check it out.

KR went to FM but the Fat guy w as not there.

Alan went  back to Taiwan.  We had bible study.  George came by at 6 and we had burgers and watched the presidential debate.  I could not keep my eyes open so I went to bed before bible study  was finished  about 8 30

We all took a  long nap in themiddle of the  afternoon  too

Monday 9-9-2024 H 89 L 69

 We were up early.  The jet lag is bad this way.   Very very tired in the afternoon.  Kind of fuzzy headed.  KR had his morning group with the boys and I cleaned around getting ready for Andrea.  It was 91 degrees yesterday   and there was a brown out near the mall but we didn't lose any electricity.  It was  pretty  hot today  and we had the  fan on  all day.

Andrea and Maribel came to   clean.  Alan  and  I set  up the bank account so   that Abby and Isaiah's money can be added to money  market  account  

Kurt  went  to  work.

I  went for a bike ride.  Got a  bag of  clothes.

The  vertigo seems to be better  and I  chewed a little khat.  KR found out  that the stuff can  be bought here, at African   store, somewhere.  It really helps with my cough so  maybe I will get  some.  KR also fixed the wheel on James' suit case and Alan is taking it back to Taiwan.

I had appt with South Bay  hearing who said that it will cost 350 big ones just to change one hearing aid battery.  I gave to  Alan to take back  to  Taiwan to see if it can be done cheaper. 

GEEZ

I cooked cheeseburgers for dinner.  KR took Angel to the Fire Road for a nice walk.  

We both took a LONG nap, like over 2 hours.  I could hardly get up but made myself.  I have to drive ALAN TO THE AIRPORT.
