Recovering Saturday H 76 L 53

 It warmed up a bit the last few days.  Well, it will be cold next week, but no rain at all.  

KR took Angel out for walk while I went to yoga.  It has been such a long time, A WHOLE week that it was NOT easy.  Eddie was there.  I didn't have a tiicket but since I was last on the waitlist, I figured it was ok.  IT was a full class.

We went to FM and got a LOT of lettuce.  I gave a bunch away to Jim/Beth, and a bunch more to Melli and her critters.  I still have at least 10 heads more.  Maybe tomorrow.  I cooked the turkey carcass and added vege, cauliflower, one green tomato, celery, broccoli and it turned out really good.

KR had two small beers.  He took Angel to the golf course.

Kurt went up to Corrina's to help Helen clean the garage.  He will bring the stuff I need, like moving blanket and all back.  

We also looked on MarketPlace and bought Matthew a bike.    Beautiful  Granite Peak Mountain Bike 18 speed.  We brought over to Matthew's house.  His old bike the chain fell off and he didn't know how to fix it.  As of 4 pm KR has not gotte a THANK YOU text from him yet.

Lazy Friday H 74 L 54 BLACK FRIDAY

 So it  is  Friday a fter turkey day and Kurt and Corrina  went down to the village to do some window shopping.  We left lots of left over 

KR is in better mood.  He went to walk the  dog and I did a load of laundry.  Well, I started it.  Abby got  her stuff packed and I drove her to the airport.  She had to pay for her suitcase of 60 dollars but she only h ad 52 on her visa debit card, and they DON"T TAKE CASH !!!!  But they had a machine that can give you a debit card  if you pay cash into  it.  Geez.  I had stopped at Wells Fargo and gave her 1000 dollars.  

Kurt slept a long time.

Abby landed in  Houston ok, then onto Miami.  Corenne and Phil got stuck in LA as their standby flight was too  full as they were flying free so  they  had  to  go to a hotel and fly tomorrow.  I would HATE that kind  of flights.

I went for a short bike ride.,  Found a suitcase and some clothes and two pilates balls.  KR will help me inflate and then I will give away tomorrow.

I cooked shrimp for KR dinner so  he didn't have to eat more turkey.

Oh, I got the Honda smogged and paid the fees so the   car is now registered.

I also bought a  Garmin   Venu sq2 from Kohl's

Thanksgiving 2024 Happy Birthday Abby

 H 75 L 52

KR was mad AGAIN, about the smae thing.  Geez, he gets so weird sometimes.

So he left before we did for the turkey trot.  Walking Angel somewhere.  Me Kurt and Abby  went to the trot.  There were so many people.  We got in the front and were off.  The run was not exactly 3 miles but I did it in 10 min 19 sec per mile.  Pretty good.  Kurt did it in about 25 and Abby kept with me I think she was faster but she stayed with me.

We got LOTs of coconut water and water and energy gets.  Abby and I went to the jacuzzi and took a shower and came home. 

KR was cooking the celery and I stuffed the turkey and put in the oven at 11.  I thought it would be done by 3 but nope, 4 it was before I took it out and put the rest of the stuffing and the asparagus in.  Most came at 4 30 and we had a great meal.

We had KR, me, Abby, Kurt, Helen, Corrina, Jaime, Deron, Will and Diamond, Eddie, Mary and Brian.  13 of us and great time.

Will and Diamond went to the Johnson's for anothe rmeal.  They cleaned up and started the dishwasher and we sang Happy Birthday to  abby and we went to bed by  8 30

KR had a lot of beers today.   At least 4.  He needs to get his temper under control

Wednesday and the 'fake tree' is up H 66 L 56

 We were up early and I had an 8 am class but my back still no good so I signed in and Abby went !!!  She liked the cardio dancing.  She was going to go running but she didn't.

I started on the pies.  Yup, four pies and a bunch of muffins.  I made the pumpkin pies, and two lime pies.  One with graham crust and one with pecan.  The pecan one didn't wanna set, so we started eating it today.  The other three are at mom's waiting for tomorrow. 

It was SO MUCH WORK.

Abby really helped cleaning and juicing.

Kurt slept in.  He then took Abby to the last chance store, and then she walked to Walmart and then to Marshall's.  Kurt went to Joclyn center to pick up   my number and shirt and said the line was VERY long.  Well, I paid so he went.

KR helped set up the tree and put on lights.  We are going to decorate tomorrow.

Ramon brought over a quarter honey baked ham !!!   WOWOWOWO  We had some of that for dinner and some cabbage I cooked and the cod I also cooked.  Then Kurt and Abby went up to Corrina's to watch a movie.

I was in bed by 9.  Really tired.  Tomorrow is the TURKEY TROT and I am going to have to wear a back brace to run.  GEEZ

Tuesday we got Abby

 So my bac is still hurting.  I was suppose to  go to  a class I canceled.  I changed sheets and KR walked Angel.  I also  puto n  the down comforter, as it was getting cold and I  had to  wear a t shirt PLUS a long sleeve shirt to sleep.  

nope  not doinng that

Then it was chiro.  She did heat and stem and it helped  a lot.  KR had  the appt  after me and he did not  go to FM until  after the  appt.  Angel disappeared again into the bushes so he didn't have  time before hand to go.

We got over 50 bunches of celery, plus  some kale and some radishes.

I went riding over to Sumi;s and dropped off the bagel and picked up t he  persimmon bread.

Then I drove over to Suz's to pick  up   Abby. We tried to go  to  the bank but we could not figure out if we were suppose to go to East Asia bank or East West banmk.  Turns out  we are just going to open an account with Abby at Wells.

We then decided to  go to Kalvera's for Tuesday  taco dinner.  It was crowded and loutd but we had a great time.

Abby then sorted througj her clothes and I went to SBCC church to pick   up t wo turkey meals  for Paloma and Shannon.  Shannon and her hubby  came pretty quickk and took kthe turkey meal  home.  

Paloma finally  showed up  at 9 20.

Suz came and got two suitcases for Cor and Phil.  They needed ore stuff.  They t ook the JetPilot, and the gray one and the gold one.  Abby f orgot her glasses.  Jeez

Kurt and Abby spent some time talking and stuff.

What a long day of work

 I switched my day  of work from Wed to Monday so I can see Abby.  Well, got to  office at 7   45 and it was fast all day.  Dr Roberto pissed Maribel off BAD.

I miss MiniMoo.  She is gone only  one day now.  I was crying so hard yesterday this time.  Thinking she is buried by t he  sapote  tree.  Oh what a cat.  I loved that kitty.  The only one I  got  from the shelter and the greatest cat ever.

Work was busy.  I had about  40 min lunch.  Got done at 4 15

KR did alot of work all day.

 I went to  the Y  for a short 30 min workout.  The elliptical is  no good made me very dizzy.

KR  is  still slightly  dizzy from the  boat.

We had taco salad  and went  to bed

Sunday oh what a sad day

 I had  such a terrible night  sleep.  We tried keeping  Angel in the other room but  she kept barking so  I just let  her  out and I stayed in the  computer room trying to  sleep  and not cry about MiniMoo.

I got  about  3 hours of sleep.

We buried Moo  next to t he sapote tree last night, about a  foot  awayf rom Buffy, I  think.

KR took Angel out and I stayed home.  I did  not  go to church but did it online.  Freda came to pick up  a rock fish and then Denise came to get some filet of yellowtail.

Kurt and I both did online streaming.

KR had lunch and took a  nap.  I  went to  Sarah's and picked up  food.  I biked maybe five miles and found a blanket which I put in the garage for Steven.  KR took Angel to the golf course and put the honey super back that Dan returned.

I cooked more fish and Corrina came by and had some and grilled vege and they watched a movie and I was in bed before 9

Saturday and KR returns with FISH AND MORE FISH H 61 L 49 MiniMoo PASSED AWAY !!!!!!

 So I was up  early and didn't  sleep well again.

KR was in about 6 but  didn't  get  home until 8 or 9.  They  had breakfast out at the dock.  He  and Doug brought  home a LOT  of  fish.  The  boat limited so each person got 10 fish.  Plus  he had two rock cod and some bonita which is  very  fishy and I like  it.  We gave away ALL the  fish  except two.

Rocky, Kristine/Ramon, Sarah (2), Patty/Steve, Danny/Marisa, Mark Regan, and the Chinese lady  at Gaytan.  She  gave KR two nice flats of very sweet strawberries.  KR filet the two and I cooked almost all the belly and collar and ate a lot.  He did not have any fish. 

KR napped two whole hours.  He was tired.  Went to FM and got some beets.  

My back was hurting all day.  Don't know why.

KR had event at KHC for  Trak and he picked up  Matthew.  I drove the two fish  heads to Sarah's mom, and brought a piece of filet to Kathleen and a several pieces to Christine  Jung.  

I went for a short run.  The weirdest thing.  The watch  stopped in the middle of the run and changed to elliptical so I don't rightly know how long.  

I went to bed before KR came home.  At about 7:45

Friday 11/22/2024 H 68 L 44

 It was cold this morning so I got the heater on.

I was going to the Y class but I had so many things to do that I canceled the class.

First was TMMC to get my medical records.  It was at the West Tower.  You had to log in and then fill paperwork and then wait for the disc.  They gave me the paperwork with the radiologist report and I saw that they gave me the WRONG paperwork.  It did have my name but said that I was given IV morphine and lasix plus something for gallbladder.  I told the lady that that was NOT ME and they need to figure out what was what and where is my paperwork.  

I came home as I saw someone delivering a turkey but I didn't see the turkkey.  Patty had dropped off some clothes and stuff.  Scott Millman came but since I was not home he did  not leave the turkey.

OH I  WON THE TURKEY AT THE MILLMAN CONTEST

Organic or some such thing.  NO HORMONE  hahaha   the first time

THen I went to the bank and paid James' visa bill, only  2500 of  it.  He is sending me more money.  He owes me more money.

I stopped at Ralphs and bought butter and lots of food.  Milk went up from 3 99 to 4 49.  Sheesh

Jeff Hueth came by with the contract and he will be starting on the panel at mom's condo.

I gave some chili to LuSieng. Then it was getting late so I went for a 6.2 mile ride on my bike.

Kurt came home from work.  They  had office meeting and went to Fountain Valley, some college and had Jersey Mike sandwiches and stuff.  He brought home a bunch of Pepsi.  I had left over chicken.

Kurt went up   to Corrina's.  I went to bed at 10  Very late. 

Angel didn't get a walk.  I was so  so busy.

I also went to Walmart to return the Razor charger and the drug   test.  Well, there was NO return on the drug test.  Oh well.  So I have 12 tests.

Thursday work day

 Jeez I didn't post so I have no idea what has   happened.

I  did get to work at 6 45 and the 'doctor showed up about 8 til 7.  Maribel said  he was suppose to be there 15 min prior to opening.  Well, he  was a doctor in Venezuela or some such country and so I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. 

We were BUSY.  I don't know why.   So  I had Roberto do my charts and I told him to write a lot.  But he  cannot remember my instructions.  I don't know  why.  I didn't think it was that complicated.

Then he was writing and I asked him to go to a room and start on a patient and he asked to finish  the  notes and I said NO but he didn't follow. 

THAT PISSED  ME OFF,  I told him to do the notes  LATER

KR came in to work on Diamond and  he could not find the second canal.  Nor can he negotiate down to the apex.  So he closed up  and sent to Dr Kelliny.

I got done at 1 and came home.  KR was napping.  I went for a bike ride all over the alleys and got a blanket that I need to wash and donate.  Nothing  else.

KR and I walked to the park and he packed up.  Doug showed up about 5 and worked on  KR's fishing gear.  KR had a bad dream about me.  I had worn fish net stockings and short skirt and was going OUT WITHOUT HIM !!!  What a dream.  He was mad.

I went to bed late after he left.

Wednesday Eufy Doorbell FINISHED !!! H 73 L 46

It was so cold this morning, only 59 inside the house I turned on the heat.  I had a class at 8 and I canceled the 9 weigh class and just did 45 min of machines myself.

Then I tried to get the door bell to work.  NOPE not having it. Spoke with Eufy and I figured the  transformer is the problem.  So I went to buy onne at  Home Depot.  I had to crawl around in the attic and didn't find it.  KR said hey, it is here near the door into the attic.  Geez really?  But I did find a large hole that a possum or something large  must have chewed so  I  duct taped that all  up.  At least the heat  won't  be leaking into the attic.

KR went to his  pre op with  Dr Lee.  I was suppose to have phone consult with Dr Gerhardt but  they didn't get the lab result.  Well, who was suppose to  request that?  They asked me to go get the disc and mail to them.  REALLY???

I got food for Will  but since he didn't reply, we ate the Bento Box from Mitsuwa store off of TooGoodToGo.

I spoke with  Christine and  said t hat they  are  just not  too  g rateful  and i  need to not  send them money anymore.

I took a shower and was in  bed  by  8.  WORK tomorrow, plus Labor Court with Will Weston.  Let's see how  that goes.

Tuesday 11/19/2024 Bible StudyH 67 L 48

 It was COLD this morning.  KR had his bible study and he didn't turn off the alarm clock and IT WOKE ME UP I WAS TRYING TO SLEEP

Andrea came and cleaned.  I was cleaning the garage.  There was video taping at the office and I FORGOT !!!  Maribel text me: are you coming.  I rushed over there and did a short video interview.

I stopped at El Super and KR went to his chiro appt.  He said it was TOO SHORT.  He is going one more time and that is it

He took a nap and I went for a ride.

Kurt had work all day.

I cooked brisket/shank and chickken and we had bible study.

There were ; George, Mike, KR and me, Lindy and Burt, Anita, Cristian, Gerry, Geraldyne and Karl, Pam and Karen, Peter  FOURTEEN OF US.  Cristian always brinnng great snack.  Lindy  baked an apple cake.

We were in bed about 10

Monday H 65 L 45

 I TURNED THE HEAT ON FOR A FEW MINUTES this morning.  It was so so cold

Actually  yesterday low was 41.  I got the small heater in my room too.

Kurt had work.  KR went surfing.  I went to yoga.  Then to get blood work.  Then to pick up pumpkins at the assisted living around the corner.  I think I got 15 pumpkins and gave a bunch away.

Charity dropped off a bunch of snacks.  I still cannot get the camera to work so I have to find the transformer.  Maybe in the attic.

Kurt was home by 4 pm.  

I went to TMMC for the isotope Technetium-99m (Tc99m) injection

Then I went back for the read at 4 30 

I had class but I canceled.  Too tired.  

Also met Bryan and his son for the walk through on the condo.  He gave me 17000 estimate on doing the job.

I was in bed by 8 30

Sunday where did it go?

 So Kurt spent the night at the Beverly Hills Hotel and I won a few items.  He and Corrina  get the Universal Studios tickets for Christmas and we get the 50 dollar Visa gift card.  I also bought the Lorde & Bell kit so   hopefully  I get a 300 dollar write off plus  a 150 write off.

I also got the  Apple TV.  Ours is the  first generation and VERY old. 

We went to church and then I came home while KR stayed for Q and A.  

Mac came by, via San Diego and we packed up a whole suitcase of winter clothes.   We had  so  much  stuff and they are moving from Hawaii to Baltimore and then North Carolina.  Mac has a lot of family there I guess but the weather.   You cannot get me  to move there.

It has  been  REALLY  cold at night here, the  last week.

We went walking at the beach before church.  I biked almost five miles.   All over the alley.  Went backk to get a medium dog crate and a small dog fence and a Tyke Trike kind of push cart that I am giving  away.

We went to   the jacuzzi.  So  good

Saturday Cold and windy H 65 L 44

 No wonder, the nights are down to 44???  Very cold in the morning.

Got the Eufy door bell camera today.

KR tried to go surfing and no go so took Angel to Fire Road and I guess that was a no go also.  She would not go so they came home.  KR went to see Matthew's game and I went to FM by myself.  Got some lettuce.  Kurt got ready and picked up  corsage from Andy's and then drove to Beverly Hills Hotel for their annual GALA.  SBCC event.

He booked a room there too.  VERY  expensive.  He forgot the corsage so Corrina came to pick up and they are spending the night,  I bid on several things and seems like I am losing on everything.  

I did get 8.5 hours of sleep  at 85  WHAHOOOOO

I also cleaned the red vacuum I found in the alley  and brought to mom's and cleaned the garage.  Getting ready for the appliances to remodel mom's.  Gotta start thinking of color scheme and kitchen handles and all that stuff.

John C came by and dropped off the spinner.  He never did get to it.

We had left over for dinner.  KR had wagu burger for lunch and dinner.  

We went to the jacuzzi.  I went for a short ride and my  left knee was really whinging me, the inside portion of the knee.  Never happened before.

Jeez

I also had my CT appt at 2 15 and it was very quick and easy.  KR went to bed by 8 and me shortly after.

Friday easy peasy

 Very windy and cold  

I ran half a mile but I ddon't know where.

Yoga was at 9 and it was still hard.  Geez I thought after TWO whole months it would be easier.

I went to AAA trying to get the auto and the home insurance changed plus show them my  "Mature  driver certificate" which gets me fifty dollars off per year for  THREE years.  Now KR has to  take it.  I  decided to decide later on the  umbrella policy.  Too much thinking to do. 

I rode around but didn't see anything in the alley.  I did bike for about 9 miles.  My knees are not happy.

Freda dropped off mung bean noodle dish with shrimp and wood ear.  We also  got a lot of bread.

This guy name Ralph needed food.  The  lady  he was  working for said he needed stuff before his EBT, so I got three bags of food together for him.  Frozen burger meat, and beans Sarah gave me and can food and all kinds of stuff.  He came by and picked up and was very grateful.

I also got all kinds of notifications on Eufy so I need to change the setting.  We now have three cameras.  One in the back patio, one in front of the garage and one on the side by the outside of Kurt's window.

I picked up ToGoodToGo food from Coffee bean and Philz  I didn't like either one.  Too much pastries.  Oh well

Streaming Church Thursday and easy work

I  was at work at 6 45 and was done by 11 30.  Drove home and went to the garage to see what is  what so when Will comes to work we can get a lot of stuff done

Office is looking so spiffy and we are having some kind of filming  Tuesday so I have to show up and be accounted for.  Mary and worked well.  The  hallway is cleaned up.  Bathroom all arranged and the sheds  put together.

KR was at Valor meeting and Will was suppose to e here at 1 he showed up at Grandma's and I rode over there and we started on the boxes.

Will is such a mess.  I had him bring the boxes in and he just drops them here and there on the floor HOW ABOUT PUTTING THEM all together so they don't take up space?  Then he tapes them upside down so the  handle cannot  be used.  We pretty  much emptied the kitchen and the bathrooms.  Will need to do a LOT more and have KR help.  

We came by at 4:30 so I will count that he worked 3.5 hours which is 70 bucks.  I  told him he needs to work the 400 for rent that  I gave him in October. 

Kurt  had  work all day and he used the Honda.  Said  he drove 120 miles. 

Corrina  came by with Olive and she said Olive i s  leaving Monday for  Japan and she is sad and worried that Olive won't like the 18 hour  plane ride. 

We had  Hope Chapel on the TV for church.  Kurt is  going to his event at the Beverly  Hills hotel and he is spending Saturday night there.  Said it was VERY EXPENSIVE

I  slept well until  I didn't.  Was up at 4 and  finally got up at 5.  Could  not  sleep

DInner with t he Johnsons and doctor appt Santa Monica

 We w ere up early and KR tried t o g o  surfing,  no go.  He  took  Angel out  while I s tayed home and went to  cardio dancing  at 8 then  to the chiro   at  10 15.  Dr  Tanya was late she had to  get  an Uber as her lease was up or something.  It was nice getting adjusted.  We made another  appt  for next week

Then it was driving up t o Santa Monica to see Dr Gehardt with the Cedar Sinai group.  He looked at my   MRI and said that he does not  see that I have a gluteous tear and I should  get more testing to see what the problem is.  So he ordered both a CT and a bone scan.  Edith told me to schedule with Santa Monica group and I called and the machine is under repair and they don't know when it would be up.

I managed to schedule two appts while driving and stopping with Pollack locally.  One this  Saturday  and one for next Monday.  YEAH !!!!!  The bone scan you have to go for the isotope injection and then three hours later for the scan.

I came home and cooked and prepped furiously.  KR walked Angel and then washed her.   

We had wagu beef, with salmon and broccoli and asparagus.  Elaine brought ice cream and cookies for dessert.  Bill also gave us some clam chowder he said is the best he ever had.

I was in bed by 9 30.  Very tired and very late. 

We also put up the other two Eufy  cameras.

Tuesday 11/12/2024

 Well, we were suppose to have lunch with Denise but she flaked out again.  Guess she needs a calendar to remind her what we are doing  So maybe we have dinner with the Gooch at Kalveras  hahahaha

KR was up before I was and last night he  installed the Eufy cam in front of the garage.  Took many hours to figure out how to do that.  He will install the other two today.  I stayed home trying to catch up on paperwork and ordered two pairs of shoes for KR from BrooksRestart.  Kurt looked at another unit, but sharing he is not that interested.  He cannot afford anything else.  We shall  see.  I invited Deron to thanksgiving.  He said he is paying 1400 for his studio on Spencer.  Nice area, but that is pretty expensive.  

Monday Veteran's Day 11/11/2024

 We were up early.  My insomnia is better.  I restarted on the med.  .25 am and .25 pm, and prolly no amitriptyline.  I didn't think the meds were helping but the last two days without it was horrid.  I was so dizzy and not feeling well.  As soon as I took the med, about .3 last night, I felt better.  Less bouncy.

Kurt came home in the afternoon and went to see a share house situation, with a Chinese landlord.  He says he thinks he will need a studio or something by himself.  GOOD LUCK  He can't afford it.

I cooked Wagu beef and KR made rice and salad.

Church was good.  Elaine and Bill sat next to us and KR had to stand in the foyer in the back.

Tomorrow is work day   for Kurt.

I also went to see the new chiropractor who  takes Medicare.  KR is going to see her tomorrow.

Sunday church day

 We went to the beach and walked Angel.  KR had the egg sandwich and went to church.  Kurt went to COTB and I drove myself to church.  After Kurt went up to Corrina's and we did the usual puttering around.  I went to Costco to buy the Eufy security camera.  Three for 229.  Cheaper than the Eufy site. 

I tried to get it set up.  I managed one and then was STUCK.  So you had to  change your confi on the wifi to 2.4 GHz but ours like most is 5 GHz, but I managed to add another Wifi name Guphouse 2 for 2.4 and then it will NOT connect no matter what.  I tried shutting off everything and reboot and moving the router.  NO GO.  So tomorrow I will call Eufy and  find out.

I cooked cheeseburger for dinner.  Kurt had one before going to Corrina's   He spent the night and is still  looking for apartments.

Saturday and Kurt looks at 2 places

So  Kurt is still  here.   He said he is  going  to  move  and will  be looking at places which he did today.  He said the  studio is tiny , way  smaller than our garage, and the second one is about the size of the garage.  Maybe something like Deron's place.  Gotta finnd out how much he pays for his studio.  

KR went to walk Angel and I had a class but I didn't feel like going.  VERY DIZZY

We went to FM and got a lot of tomatoes and some lettuce which  I dropped off for Jim.

I went for a ride over to Costco and bought the Eufy security camera, but it  has to be connected to  the WIFI and I think it is going to have trouble.  As the TMobile wifi is not that great.  We shall see.  I can put it on the window and have it projected outside and then see what I can see.  

I also went to get gas for the Honda and a car wash for my  car.  It was killing me too filthy.  

I sent a couple of links to rooms for rent and see if Kurt wants to try that.  He needs some  place that can secure his car, so that it  wonn't be stolen.

KR went diving, and asked Kurt to go but he says he would go exercise at the Y, but of course he didn't go.  Said he would work out here.

Asking Kurt to move out Friday

 What a day

I am very dizzy.

Woke up and smelled funny in Kurt's room.  Found the THC vape pen and two vapes.  He is vaping THC againn and I told KR we need to ask him to move out.

KR took Angel for a walk and I did laundry.  I also went to a class, which was suppose to be CORE but felt like hips and knees.  It was a new form of torture.

KR had the left over stew and rice for lunch.  Kurt came back for the raffle tickets that he forgot to bring to work and we told him no more vaping THC or he can go live elsewhere.  He went back to work in a huff.

He came home and said that he is looking at a studio tomorrow and we had a long talk.  He wants to quit he says but is having a hard time.  His job is not that rewarding, and he does not know what he wants to do.  So that is that.  

Working Thursday and WHAT a day Buying Will another CAR !!!!!

 So it was a hectic day

And I quit klonipin, since it didn't seem to be helping and I was wondering if I was so tired during the day because of that???  And maybe the insomnia was because I was quitting?  Who knows

Got to work on time and there was so much to do getting the office together.  Ralph the shed assembler was here and then KR came about 10 to do 6 chairs.  He got them done and said that his back was killing him.  

I had a full schedule  and it was VERY busy.  

I asked Diamond and Will to have someone else drive Will to the AAA in Cerritos to meet Uncle Jesse.  He sold me the 2007 Ford van for 400 bucks.  

Well, I was running late and got there about 2 and WIll was nowhere to be seen.  He had gone to get a Monster and then they w ould n ot  transfer title unless Will was AAA member so I had to buy  him a membership as he had no monney.  OF COURSE

Then the transfer was 15 dollars.  I drove Jesse home and on the  way  we saw Sam Woo and he was hungry s o we had shrimp and beef 'lunch' special.  Great to sit and chat with him.

I drove home.  The traffic was bad all the way f rom Lawndale to Cerritos to home.  I  had to stop at the bank too to get the money.

KR adn I went to the jacuzi and I was in bed by 8 pm

TOTALLY  POOPED, and them kids don't appreciate me so  I  really  NEED  TO  STOP DOING ALL THIS !!!!!!

Office meeting Wednesday H 76 L 52 Very Windy

 Can't believe the Orange One won.  Lame Duckk here it is for poor Kamala.  Too many people said she is too wishy  washy and will g o  where  the wind blows.  We shall see.  I didn't know Trump was hawking Bibles !!!!

We went to the beach to walk Angle and then it was office meeting.  My cough was really bad at the beach and spitting all the time.  It finally went away at the  office meeting.  It always seems to run long even though we were actually  DONE with the meeting by 10 15.  I brought in a  bunch of gloves and needles and other stuff.  I also brought in cupcakkes and banana bread with peeled tangerines and oranges.  They were  all eaten.

I got home and picked up KR for our lunch with  Brandon Bernstein at El Torito.  I am so glad we changed from Red Onion  to El Torito.  I bought home the left over asada burrito, which was NOT that great, and the rice and beans for Kurt.

KR took a nap and I went for a 8 mile bike ride.  Was going to drive to Louie's but decided to go tomorrow.  

KR took Angel to the golf course.  I was too dizzy to go.

Election Day 11/5/2024 Tuesday

 Yup today i s  the  day. 

Hoping  the Orange thing does  not  become our president.   I cannot  imagine why people would vote  for h im.

We were up early. T he two watches,  Sense 2  and  Versa 4  are not telling me  what  is what  regarding sleep  and stuff.  One  day last week I  went for a bike ride with  both  watches  and  I think  the  difference was about .75 miles between  the  two.   REALLY???

KR went to Bible study and I stayed home when  Andrea and Maribel came I was on the phone with  China airlines.  Took me forever to get the tickets.  I actually got three economy tickets for 1900 bucks, not three time the 800 dollar tickket.  That is pretty   good.  So I am booked to go see mom and  Lovely  in  January next year. 

HOWEVER, I don't like China airlines.  Their plane is 3-3-3 going over and prolly g oing to fly low and low pressure, so my  vertigo......

Yup, dizziness is still NO GOOD.

KR went to FM and we got alot of eggplants and tomatoes and gave most away.

Kurt had his first day s eeing clients and he drove all over.  Said he was REALLY tired.  Got home before 6

KR got bees and drop them off at John's

I cleaned and dropped off a bunch of stuff at Louie's

Monday and just as dizzy

 So KR did not go surfing.  Not good.

I could not sleep after 4 am.  My sleep has been so bad the last week.  When I get up  to pee I can't  fall back asleep  again.

And then:  Will totaled his car.  He was going home after work and this guy that was  drunk hit him and then  two or three other  cars and then drove off.  Another guy gave chase and found him !!!!   Will  has a police report and hopefully  can get some money out of this.

So after reading his texts at 2 am I could n ot sleep.

Finally 5 am I got up and made coffee.

I did two loads of laundry.  Went to Kent street to d rop of hair serum that  II  did not need two bottles of.  Also went to Walmart and bought more cat food  but when I got home, MiniMoo didn't want that kind.

I also went to Amazon off of Torrance Blfd and spent 50 bucks on 18 pounds of ground beef and shrimp.  We had wagu beef and giant shrimp for dinner.  It was very  good.

Kurt had work all  day.  Saying tomorrow is his first day  meeting  with  his 'clients'

I also gave away most of the stuff from Patty, and the shelfing systems and two five gallon  bottles.  KR pickked up the  tangerines and persimmons.  Dropped off the stuff for Jeff.  I picked up more stuff from Mary  Delaheney

Sunday and day at the Getty for KR H 71 L 53

 Day   Light  savings was last night so this morning we had an EXTRA hour o f sleep, kind of.

Kurt went to COTB as it was earlier and he likes it better so he says.  It was really w indy.  He packed up and went to  Corrina's, with  his laundry, no less.

We went to  church and then KR went  to Getty with  Tommy and Xyree and Matthew.  He did't get home until 6 45.

I was home all day  cleaning and went to t he  gym for stair climbing and  some weigh lifting. 

I  also bought  my  ticket to Taiwan for January !!!!

Saturday SBCHC 5K runn and Dinner at the Crookston's

 Yup it is getting colder and colder.  I think the heater is gonna come out soon.

We were up early, and left for Ernie Howlett  park for our fundraiser 5K run.  I brought capes and tutus for our  YBNrml team.  Our team consisted of Charity Harmany, Stu Hemphil, Peter Gooch, Kurt and me.   Jadin (Tracy's son) also  joined us the  last minute.  He was FAST and won of course.  Last year Kaleen our neighbor down the street won, but she  didn't want to run. 

I WON THE  COSTUME contest !!!!  50 bucks  AMAZON money    hahahaha

KR was so   sweet to come with Angel and walk her  and took a  bunch of  photos  of  us.

I went to the jacuzzi and had a good soak.  I didn't get too sore later in the evening.

They all took a  nap.  Kurt  went out t o  Chris' over by Anza with Corrina.

We went over to Crookston's for dinner.  Katherine cooked a great roast and potatoes.  We also picked up 93 bucks worth  of Wagu beef earlier and we brought her some Wagu beef prosciutto.  It was very good.

We got home at 9.  I was pretty dizzy.  There were 9 people there.  Arnie the PODIATRIST was there too.

Easy Friday H 68 L 50

 It was COLD thiis morning.  And this week has been cold so I think  the  weather is really changing  and  we  did NOT have Indian  summer at  all.  There were  maybe 2 90 degree days when  we were gone to Kenya.

KR took Angel to walk and I went to CORE class.  I thought about canceling but it was too late when I decided.

It is still not easy to do all that exercise after a month and half.

KR put all the halloween stuff away.  

He had left over for lunch.  Kurt worked all day and brought pizza home.  They had  salad  and  pizza and a pitcher of BEER for lkunch at work!!!!!!!!
