Tuesday I AM SICK H 70 L 41

 It was very  cold last ight.  I slept in the other  room as KR was coughig and had temp.  Well, I woke up  coughig ad had  a  temp.  The highest was 100.2.  I had  the chills and did NOTHING today.  

KR did  not go  to Bible Study.  We just stayed in bed, and rested.   Y had a pipe burst and canceled all classes and actually closed.  I see people driving in and drive out.

KR  did go  to  FM and got a  bunch  of broccoli and some cauliflower and a bunch of lettuce.   

I drove to Redondo and dropped off the hand sanitizer and the toothbrushes and the gallon of  alcohol. I picked up the stain for wood, and some torch fluid, then came home and rested.   

I made chickenn  salad and KR had it for dinner.  Kurt  had  work  all day.  

Monday and KR is SICK with temp and cough H 68 L 49 1/20 2025 Trump takes the White House

 So it was a peaceful  day.  Trump was sworn in as the 47th president.  Only the second president to skip one and came back.  The 'orange one' will be around for another four years.  We shall see.

Many of  his  cabinet nominations are just bunk.

KR woke up  with  100  fever and the  went  up t o  101.  He coughed  all  day  and  slept most day.  He did eat a turkey sandwich I made and had some soup.  Kurt came home from Corrina's and walked Angel in the afternoon.  

I had left over and many  jujubes.

I finished packing my carry on.   Now just a back pack or something.  

And must not forget my  meds

Sunday Computer Back Up !!! H 58 L 46

 It was cold  Not as cold as east coast.  Kathy said their church  was canceled due to weather.

KR walked Angel and  I started trying to put  things away.  Christine and Debbie came by and both picked up  some Lularoe stuff.  I have such nice  friends from BNT.  

We went to church.  Kurt took me home.  KR stayed  for Q and A.  Tracy  Catrone did a very good  sermon.  

Kurt went up  to Corrina to spend the night.  He is not working, but Corrina is.  Kurt is goig to help Mary install a DVD player.  

I went for a very cold ride.  The boys from Ox was suppose to come by to say good buy but they left to go to Vegas,.  KR went ad got the food  so we can finish it.  They took the diivdign walls down but some old ladies told them that they  could not put them in the dumpsters so  they just left it o the porch.  Also the porta-potty got picked up.

We had some left over for dinner.  KR is getting sick.

SO I SLEPT IN THE OTHER BEDROOM !!!!

Saturday H 62 L 46

 It was cold this morning.

Kathy got all packed up  and ate some toast and we were o our way  to the airport.  The drive was  easy and I dropped her  off at 'arrival' as the  departure was a  mess.

Got home and KR took Angel for a walk.  I cleaned up  downstairs and did a load of laundry.   KR and I  went to FM and got a lot of  lettuce.  

KR went on a bike ride and I went to  Sumi's to drop  off  some CD's that Kathy and I had cleaned out.  She is keep  some.  KR says he wants the rest.  REALLY?    I am bringing some movies to Taiwan for  Lovely and giving the rest away. 

I gave Jim some lettuce.

Mark came over but could not fix the plug.   Saying that it is connected to another wire that he  cannot find.  Oh well

KR had ice cream bar and smoothie for dinner.  I had picked up  some food from Sarah.  I had the pork.  They were going to Las Vegas for the long  holiday.  

Kurt was up until about 1 and went and took a long ap.

Oh what a Friday 1/17/2025 H 61 L 45

 We were up  early and  the  three of us went up to  the fire road to walk Angel.  Me  KR and Kathy.   It was a nice walk.  Angel only disappeared a  little.

Then KR ate some food  and  went shooting at LAX range  with Matt and Mark.  Kathy annd  I stayed  and did  a little cleaninng, of  the  DVD's and CD's.

We went to Lucille's BBQ for a late lunch  and it was great.

They all went to take a nap and I drove to pick  up  Mochi  from Sumi and chips  from LuSieng, and drinks from Monica Soto.

I went for a short 5  mile bike ride.  

We all had salad that KR made for dinner.  Kurt   had worked all day 

Thursday but NO WORK !!!!!

What ?  It is Thursday and I don't have to work?  Nope.  They are doing computer thingy so the office is closed, which turned out to be so amazing.

KR and I went over to reattach the light as the guys from Oz will be staying there for a few days and  there is not enough lights.  KR did the  dining  room lights and he had to go.  

KR went to take Angel and I went to first strength class then yoga.  Then I  went to Yamacho to buy  four surprises bag.  KR ate almost one and I took one bento box and a potato thingy over to the boys.

KR went to  Valor meeting and I  went to meet  Kathy and Em at Mitsuwa for lunch.  After a yummy curry, we came back here and then immediately over to the condo to get it ready for the boys.

Yup, Eddie calls me two days  before the  boys  come.  Yup.

We came back after getting the house ready  and KR came home.  Then Matthew and Mark showed up, with a rental Mustang, convertible, RED.  Yup.

I took them over there and KR went to church to help them load stuff to Long Beach.   

I cooked salmon and they a ll  had  left over bento boxes for dinner. 

Wednesday WHAT a day!!! 1/15/2025

 First of all, my sleep s core was 39.  WHAT IS UP  WITH THAT????

9.33 miles of very  s low cycling.  Went to Sumi to pick up  BUTTER MOCHI, and then alley to see what is there.  

Did two loads of laundry, our comforter top and another one from Kevin's dumpster.  They  throw out so  much stuff.  Also went to Ashley's and piicked up toys and chairs and blanket.  Met with Mouena at Home Depot for more cabinet discussion.  

KR had a very full  day too.  Walked the pup and then met up with Kirk and Doug to talk about their 50th reunion.  Went to lunch and Library and police station for permit.  SO MANY things to do.

I went  to  Freda's to pick up  bread and to Charity  for  two suitcases.  KR will bring  them to  church tomorrow.

I cooked vegetables and rice.  We had sushi tuna it was amazing.

Corrina came and spent the night.  I was in bed by  8  45  Completely  pooped

Tuesday FM and Andrea cleaning

 We  were  up early, bubt KR was earlier and  gone to his  Bible Study.  I had PT woith Christine at 9 and Andrea came to clean.  I told them to take at least 20 of the Lularoe stuff and they diid.  KR  wet  to  FM and  got  a  lot o f lettuce and tomatoes and kale and radish.   We gave a lot of the radish to the New Horizon people and some to the roofers at Rocky's.

Patty  made abondiga soup and gave us a lot.  It was great.  I had some for lunch and KR had some for dinner.  Kurt had taco bell for lunnch and I made him a salad for diner.  He worked all day.

I  rode  all over the  alleys, and  got 6 bottles of  Arrowhead water.  I  also  went to Melli's ahd  dropped off a bunch of food for her  critters adn got some fish from her.  Salmo and tuna and some sushi  grade tuna.

KR was i  bed by 8

I  also  got  a  nother suitcase.  So  there is  a total of 8 i the   garage.

Alan went down to Sann  Diego to see his mom

Monday

 New day  dawning

I  have PT  interview at 8  with Christie  at Peak Performace.  She  is  great.  Takes  a whole  hour trying  to  figure out what my  problem is.   Then  I got o South Bay  Hearing.   The  hearig  aids that  Lovely  fixed is  not  syncing to  the phone,  on  the lefto only.   They  did  it  real  quick.  The i t  was  chiro  with  Dr Tanya.  She is late again.  Seems like I  am her first patiet at 10 30 ad  shei s often late.   

KR had his Monday morning group and  I left.   He  tried to go surfing  but  no  go.  Took  Angel  to  the service road i the morning and the Fire road inn the evening

I had a 5 pm class and then Kyle had a free dance class which was great.

Sunday and many people trying to set fires

 We were up and KR tried to go surfing.  No good.  We went  to church.  Mary  asked me to come and change her dressing, as it fell off so I drove to church   a little late.  Her wound looks so different.  There  looks like there are MANY small tumors growing at the edge of the wound.  And they are getting LARGER.  I changed the dressing and went to church.

We had left over for lunch and KR and Alan took a nap.  I went for a ride, dropping off some lettuce for Melli's critters and CBD /Lidocaine cream for Monica.  I have some for Donna and some for Sumi.  Christine that sells Lularoe text me that she wants to donate the stuff to chrities.  I called Ty, his church burnt down and I will meet him somewhere and give him the clothes.  First I will let Charity and Donna look.

We went to Taco Galoso for dinner, without Kurt.  He went out to lunnch with Amanda and decided to stay home.  It was fabulous.  We had many many tacos.  Plus some left over.

I sorted through several hundred dresses/leggings/tops/long dresses and will be donating them

Saturday and FM plus a day of not much smoke

 We were up early and we went up to the  Fire Road for a walk.  It was actually clear eough to see Pt Magu annd not much smoke.  Seems like the fires are somewhat under control

KR went to FM early  as he wanted to try  to  go surfing. But no good.  He weedwhacked and Alan played tennis somewhere.  He spent the next many  hours watching TV, first baseball I thinnk and then  football.

We walked to the park.  I cooked kalbi ribs and shrimp.  Salad and rice by KR.  We had a great meal.  Kurt wet up  to Corrina/s

Friday Black Bear Diner Fire still going Sleep score 63

 It was still smokey  but air was better.  However, late in the day, the fire started again, and the smoke and the black clouds.

KR tried to go surfing, but no go so he took Angel for a walk.  I went to class, first Core and the Kyle had a 'free dance class' and it was GREAT !!!!

Came back and Alan had gone play tennis and I cooked some chicken legs.  KR went to have lunch with Danny and Howard.  He said Danny said their marriage was over.  Man, they are seeing a mediator to see how to divide the assets.

I went for a ride and got a game.  Don't know if it works.  Nintendo of some kind

We went to Black Bear Diner.  Oh what  fun.  We ALL had prime rib, and a pie to go, which Alan ate it all.  Banana cream  i think.

Working Thursday 1/9/2025

 Was  there a bit late, like  6  40.  Dr Robert did not  arrive until 7.  Said traffic was bad.  Air was bad and  ash rained down  ALL DAY.  It was busy.  Working with  Johanna was good.  We had one no show and was still busy until 12.45.

Monica brought her mom in and had me do SDF on many areas.  I tried cleaning several areas and she   said no and  was moaning and growing annd grabbing my hand.  

I came home and KR was asleep.  

Went for a ride.

Waited for Alan's plane.  First said was late then  was on time.  I had him walk to United, thank goodess.  Traffic around Bradley  was terrible.  I  cut through to 7.

We were home and KR was asleep.

Our Death Valley trip Sunday 1/5 to Tuesday 1/7/2025 Wednesday office meeting

 KR says we should take a trip, so we decided to go sit in the hot  springs at Bishop so we did. 

We went to church  and after, we packed up and left about 12 30.  Kurt was at church ad  he  has chicke and cat duties when we are gone.

We went  up 405 to 5 to 14 to 395.  We called a motel but she  said the heater was out  so we went to Bristle Cone motel which was i  Big Pinne and it was 109 bucks for a very  large  room.  Two  double beds and a single.  We had Copper Top take out BBQ  it was great.  KR had  a bed with Angel and I had my own.

Monday morning w e went to the hot  springs, by Keough Hot Springs and had the whole pool to ourselves.  It was 30 degrees out but the water was about 91.  VERY NNICE !!!!  First Angel just wanted to stay in the car, then she was comfortable eough to root around in the bushes.   We wet back to the motel and checked out.  We went to Hugo's and had some great enchilada before we drove to DV.

We drove to Death Valley 168-266-95-374  We had a room 58, at Stovepipe Wells.  I tried to buy  a phone plug but they were out.  This lady   name April heard me and said I ca borrow hers.  She was so nice.  I charged for an hour and returned.

We ordered steak and salad from the restaurant and ate in our room.  

Tuesday   morning  the  wind storm really picked up.  We drove to Artist's palette and to Badwater adn then drove home.  The fires in Pacific Palisades started adn soon turned into a huge inferno.

We had bible study  so we unpacked and got the  house ready.

11 people came and Cristian bought so much food.  He is such s great guy. 

My sleep  score was still o good even after I had a dropper of the   sleep CBD that I bought at the Indian dispensery.

Wednesday was ash rainig all over.  I had knee injection at 8 and got to office meeting by 9.  Sad that Mary  was not there.  I stopped at El Super ad bought 77 dollars worth of meat.

KR had a large bud ad he drove to mom's to water.  I was so mad that  he drank ad drove.  He promised.  Later he apologized but I think  he just needst o  stop  DRINKING period.

He had a long nap and took Angel out.  

I went to get some pants for Will and dropped off some food and pants ad socks and kitty litter for ihm at Lowe's.

I was in bed by 8 30

Saturday H 63 L 46

 Last night was so so weird, I had pain around my ribs, all of my ribs that woke me up in the middle of the night and KR had to rub my ribs all around so I can  go back to sleep.  Sheesh

HOWEVER, the s leep score was actually pretty good considering,   8 hours 13 min and 69.  The score has been 45 50 40, like that so 69 is good.

KR went surfing and I did load of laundry  and cleaned house.  I also made air fried chicken and then some purple yam fries in the air frier.  I went for a ride to drop off the Christmas pillows from Patty and pick up a mug that says 'you are the bee's knee' for KR of course.  I also got a white t shirt that I am going to iron on the cat transfer I got from Sumi.

It was cold riding.

I also went to Mary's to pick up beautiful Meyer lemons and drop off her underwear.  New stuff from the alley.  HAHAHA

We had di Roma left over for dinner.  Seems like I don't eat much but still cannot get below 110.  I ate a lot of dried juubes though.  I gave the Gaytan lady a bag too.  Kurt and I went to FM and got a lot of lettuce for the girls.

Kurt went to shop for a white elephant party.  He left about 4.

We had a long chat with Diamond.  Was suppose to be with both of them, but somehow she didn't know he had to work today.

REALLY?

She said they are not going to be sharing their expenses and that they don't need any money from us.  GOOD!!!!

1/3 Friday H 63 L 49

 It  is  COLD still and nary  a  drop  of  rain in sight.

We were up and worried about Angel.  I think I accidently  kicked her  off the  bed last night and she yelped  and mnaybe something hurt.  She was ok.

My sleep score  was 40 POOR and 7 hours 33 min.  Geez.  Can't get better sleep.

We changed the sheets but I did not wash them.  Kurt had work and I made him a spicy sandwich.  

KR took  Angel to  the  service  road  and I had appt with pulmonologist Vishaal   Sridhar at Optum.  They  were on time and he really listened to  my concerns.   He  prescribed Arnuity  Ellipta  which  is  190 plus dollars and I  did not  pick it  up.  Called the  office back a nd he  is suppose to rx something else but as of tonight I didn't get it yet.

I went for a short 3 mile run.  Very slow.   13 min  mile.   Then we went to d rop  off  the Elnna  sewing machine with t he  amazing  cabinet that  KR finnished  for me, but I  cannot use because I have such a hard time threading the needle.  Can't see !!!  The light was out at 190  and  Crenshaw.  It  was a nightmare. 

We went down to the beach a nd saw the sunset.  We dropped Angel off and had a fabulous meal at di Roma restaurant on  Hawthorne.

I am really dizzy and tired.  

1/2/2025 Thursday L 44 H 67

 KR took Angel to the service road and I went  to two classes in a  row.  First was Strength Training and second was cardio dance.  KR went to  Costco but they didn't have guava juice nor Naked juice nor lychee juice.  Geez.  KR did squeeze all our tangerine and some of the grapefruit to make juice.

I was tired from the classes

I put up  some of the   string white lights and KR put  up the r est.  He also nailed the foot of the sewing machine that we are donating away.  He  stained it three times before glueing it on yesterday.

Kurt had  work all day.  He says he has maybe 70  clients  now and the program is suppose to  last  until May 2026.  I certainly  hope he makes more money before then.

KR had a nap  and I could not nap.  I did go  for a ride and picked up  the bee stickers and other stuff by Mindora street.

We had fish  for dinner.  I  cooked the  tuna, some belly  meat for  me and  KR and Kurt  had  the  rest  with rice.

We were in bed by 9

Happy New Year 2025 H 61 L 47

 Happy New Year

I diddn't make any  resolution, at least I  didn't  write it down  So maybe this  year I wil write soething.

First thing first, we didnt even watch the rose parade.  I saw some highlights.  We went down to the  beacha nd  walked Angel on  the  sand towards RAT.  They are putting in about 40 plus charging stations for electric cars.  What a waste of space.  Too many.

We got  home and KR tried to go surfing.  He had a beer down the beach and was blowing .03 BAC and we had a 'talk' that he is not to drive with any BAC more than .03.

Bill Johnson came for a visit annd gave me an elephant, a rhino and a wooden dish in  the shape of Africa and figurine of Ghana women.  I actually like them all, except the figurine.  I think  I might put that in  the serenity  garden.

I cooked wagu pork and Kurt and KR had nootles with that and normandy blend salad.  Kurt came home from Corrina and did some laundry.  Said he had to work tomorrow.  WOW

SO THE  NEW YEAR RESOLUTION

Let things go

Pray that  God will take care of all my worries

Kurt finds a place to move and be more independent and wanting to improve himself.  Whatever makes him happy  is what I pray for  him.  If it is Corrina that is great, if it is not then someone else will be good too.,  

Will and Diamond to get their finances straight and not be so hostile about 'getting  the relationship right'

I asked Will and Diamond  to share their spending records and Diamond said Will does not want to.  I guess he does not want to share, we are not going to help him/them with  rent.

My vertigo GO AWAY

Mom stays in good health  and Lovely i s not  too tired from taking care of her.  And of course that she has less responsibilities, especially with the rental house and the Board at the complex

Tuesday 12/31/2024 LAST day of the year

 KR went to Bible Study.  Didn't drink all day.  WOW

No FM, so we cooked a wagu beef steak and then had normandy blend vege.  KR cooked rice too.  

No class today, all canceled.  I went for 13 mile ride, up Crest to pick up  a chop, and I  actually  made it up Crest.  Was not easy.  Then over to Sumi to  return her Trader Joe bag.  

We tried to get the movie, Out of Africa on the  tube but could not.  Kurt came home in the afternoon after having a great  time camping, and put  things  away and then  took a  nap  and went up  to  Corrina's for the New Years Party.

We watched some Leave it to Beaver and Little House on the  Prairie before watching the NYC ball drop and went to bed by 9 30.

AHAHAHAH

Still coughing.  

Still dizzy.

But hey, blessed to  be upright  and above ground.

Monday 12/30

 KR had his  Zoom meeting  with  Monday  morninng group.  He took the dog out for a walk, or maybe he went surfing.  I don't remember as it is 1/1/2025 today.  Geez 

I  went  to my 8 30 cardio  class and then to the 9 30 yoga  class.  I had ordered some To Go to go and I  bought  two so I gave one to  Dr Tanya when I went  to my 10 30 chiro.  

KR went surfing.  Or something like that.  

I went cycling at 3 40 just around the alleys.  

Kurt is still  camping at Sycamore Cove by  Malibu.  Coming home tomorrow

We had wagu  pork for one of the meals.
