| On the tour bus |
After Kurtis had his fill of donut, milk and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, we boarded the Explorer bus, heading towards Chelsea, West Village, Greenwich Village, Soho, and we get out of at Financial District. Took a short walk across Brooklyn Bridge, and then to the 9/11 memorial, and Ground Zero. Then it is back on the bus home, as Kurtis said he was tired of walking. We take hte bus back, and had a great lunch at Mandoo Bar, Korean restaurant that was actually in the book, NYC for Dummies, and the dumplings were GREAT !!!!!
We were going to see Empire State Building, but it was closing as we were eating lunch, so after a short rest, we will head towards the bus and ride it around again.
