No work Friay

I was suppose to see Lauren Herrin, but Regina text me last night that there is no assistant, if I can get KR to assist me.  I said no.  Will does not pay me enough as it is, ain't gonna get my hubby to assist for free.

Weather was great, reached 85 according to phone.

So I did another load of laundry, and went for a walk about at the pool while KR went surfing, then I went to see Chris at 1 15.  Great appt.  My back and knee

Cooked some rice and bought some chicken from Ralph.

Walked the dog at the beach and ate dinner and listened to the sermon.  I kind of fell asleep before it ended, but got up to go to the bathroom and then could not sleep too well.  KR had jetlag too.

Lovely is having her bathroom done quickly.

Thursday the long work day

Got to work by 6 50.

Not a bad schedule.

Then several of them don't show up.

Got home and KR s slowly moving. He walked the dog, bought milk.

Cooked a little steak, then started cleaning.

We got ants

Got home and KR took a nap.

We went to bed listening to the sermon, and promptly fell asleep before it was done.

OH MY DO WE LEAVE???

So it is Wednesday and we are suppose to leave.

KR says he had diarrhea all night, and proceeded to throw up.  When KR throws up, you can hear it in the next town.  Kurt says he has a little diarrhea, but no throw up.  KR then gets a little fever.  OH MY.,  I text Lovely and she comes over with thermometer - 100 degrees, YIKES, no going to the airport.  He lays in bed all day.

Lovely and I scooter over to RT Mart and get the containers for Kurt's room, and a squeegie and tried to buy egg crisps.  They have it in the deli but not the box.  I come back and Lovely goes back, I tried to take a nap no go.  Then I took the MRT to pick up mom as the Pizza Hut is close to mom's elderly center and we had pizza for dinner,

THE BOBA PIZZA WAS GREAT

Then it was THE conversation with Kurt.

We went to to pick up KR and he was better,  No more fever.  I had purchased a Mickey D burger for him and some gatorade look alike, and yogurt.  He had it all and then felt better.  We went to the airport.

We tried to sleep at the kids place as there were no place to sit at gate C4.,

The plane was really crowded, then I understood.  Lovely said they canceled the morning flights as there were not enough people flying.  We got changed to bulkhead seats, which was GREAT.  I slept a bit.  Ate both of the meals.

Ian was early and met us at the terminal.  Immigration was a piece of cake, two minutes, and the luggage took forever.

We came home and went to bed,

So nice to see Ian and then Gracie.

Tomorrow is a work day for me.

Tuesday leaving for HSR

Got up later, like 7 30 and had more brekkie at the hotel.  A little different today, but mostly same.

Kurt didn't want to go so we took the bus #3 to Costco to see if we can get coffee.  Nothing, but KR had a bowl of clam chowder.

We went back and got Kurt and took our luggage out to the lobby and then went off to check out the wet market.  We could not find it as the night market did not start, and there is no wet one in the morning.  BUT we did find a 130NT place for a wash and cut for Kurt.  20 minutes later, he looks great.

One of the customer told us where to eat and we went up the street and had more food.  KR had this lasagna looking thing with cheese and noodle and a pork patty on top.  I had more soy bean with rice balls, and boba.  Kurt had curry.

We took the bus to the train station, then realized that we had to take the train four stops to the HIGH SPEED RAIL, and we barely made it, with only 8 minutes to spare.  The trains here are always on time and DO NOT WAIT FOR ANYONE.

A little over two hours later, we are in Taipei.  We took  MRT to the condo and then went out to eat again.  I had lost my MRT card yesterday, and bought a new one and loaded 100 NT.  And at the Taipei MRT, I found one that had over 400 NT on it.  God is good.

Kurt and KR bought a bottle of red wine and a small bottle of mixed spritzer and ate dinner and we all went to bed.  Tomorrow we leave !!!!!

Monday

We had our first brekkie at the ECFA.  It was french fries, plum juice, soy milk, cold and warm noodles, meat sauce, porridge, and variety of salad.  Kurt ate with us and went back to bed.

We went to see Fort Provintia, by bus.

We came back and changed room to the 8th floor, paying 300 more NT and window and REAL bathroom walls.  Much better.

Then we went to Anping Old Fort, called Fort Zeelandia.  Then it was more food.  Shrimp rolls and fried oysters, at Mr. Chen seafood.  Very good.

Then we took the taxi to the Green Tree boat ride which was a 15 minute short ride over the mangrove of Taidong.

Taxi back to the "Tree House" which is a large house that got taken over by the tree and its roots.  We bought the multi tickets that we chose four of the five locations to go to.  Glad we didn't pay for all 5 as the fifth one was not open today, and we didn't have time for more.

Kurt bought fish food to feed the tilapia in the pond.  We taxi to the 'boat' and saw a Taiwanese War Ship, but it was not the one we can go on with the ticket, so we walked across and went saw the MOTE, that had bunch of cannons.

Came back to the hotel and bought three different drinks, and rested before dinner.

We met at Tayih Landis Hotel and very fancy.  Mitzi and Tom still looks the same.

Dinner was great.  Tom didnt order alcohol like I thought he might.  Went to this coffee place that roasted coffee.  KR decided to order a pound.  But thought better of it at 50 dollars a kilo, too much.

We went to bed late.  Walked back to hotel, didn't taxi.

Easy Sunday 2 -23-2020

KR gets up early to check the surf and it was not worth renting a board up the street to go out.  We had a great brekkie of egg patty, boiled vege, cherimoya, peanuts, daikon pickled, rice, gananas, and tea.  They had most of it and ate the whole thing.

Then it was off to the bus station, next to the fresh bread place.  Bus comes about once an hour, 8102 and goes to Taidong City bus terminal.  We got on and 45 min later, it arrived.  We stored our stuff in the locker at the bus terminal, 50 nt each locker as our stuff didn't fit in one and wondered about the city.

Saw the wet market, I bought a ham hock, went to the beach, and found this little stall and had a bowl of soybean, rice balls and boba.  OH it was so so good.  But KR and Kurt said they needed some REAL food and went to KFC.

We got on the train, and headed to Tainan.

Arrived in about two hours and took taxi to ECFA hotel and dropped our stuff off and off we went to the night market.

It was crowded and full of food stalls and people and selling stuff.  We ate our way through, and went back to the hotel.

THE HOTEL  NO GOOD

The bathroom wall is opaque glass, so that anytime someone went, it was really bright, and it was an inside room, no window so it was really dark.  I decided tomorrow to change room.

Went to bed about 11, so so tired.

Surfing with Brian Spence Saturday

I tried lining up a board for Kurt and KR yesterday with Brian.

We woke up and walked down to the beach.  Brian said he was coming to drop off some boards but he showed up at 7 30 and said he was going to take them surfing.  We woke up Kurt and packed quickly and left with Brain and no brekkie.

Drove to the north side of the rivermouth and they surfed for about two hours.  Kurt had a real hard time, he said noodle arms.  I sat on the sand.  It was pretty warm.

We went back to town and had some Baozi, Kurt managed to eat 6.  Then Brian drove us back to the bnb and we took a nap and just lazed around and then walked up to Dulan back to the Vietnamese place to have dinner.  We were going to the Indian Curry place but it was too long of a walk up the hill, next to the river.

We came back and listened to a Paul Veggiano sermon and went to bed.

The wind was howling,

Kurt had a beer.

Train to Taidong

KR and I got up early and walked out to find brekkie.  We turned left from Iris Guest House and walked down to Zongshan Road and and had hot and sour soup, and two kinds of potstickers, and pork bun and the hot and sour soup and pig blood chunks in it.

We woke Kurt up so we can make it to the train.  He ended up eating at the same place and we got on the train to Taidong, 10 26 am.  Two hours, and it was not crowded.  Prolly only 10 people in the whole car 7.

We arrived and it was pretty warm.  Forrest came to pick us up.  We went to eat at Dulan Fish and Chips.  I had some rice balls, but only FOUR for six bucks.  Too much.  And 20 nt for ketchup.

After eating, they went surfing at Dulan River mouth area.  Surf was good and they all caught waves Kurt was a bit on the out of shape side and caught three good ones while I filmed them.

Then we went back to town and had dinner at the Vietnamese place.  They ate a lot.  Forrest dropped us off and he went back to Taidong City, about a 30 minute drive.

We checked into the Ah Mei Yi Homestay.  Very nice second floor room with ocean view.  Five minute walk from the ocean and five minute walk into the town of Dulan.

We were pooped and went to bed.

Taroko Gorge Thursday

OH WHAT A DAY !!!!!!!

It was a rush getting Kurt up and to the bus station.  Last night we figured out how to use the bus system, 1100. or 1126. or 1133A, or 1141.

We got down to the train station and found where to buy the bus tickets, 250 each.  Kurt is no where to be found.  KR went back up to where the cross over from the east side to the west side, and he was on the top, looking for us.

We got on, and they depart RIGHT ON TIME.  There were only 7 of us.  We rode to Swallow Grotto and got off and walked the old highway.  Then two workers told us we cannot go to the Tunnel of 9 Turns because of the rock prevention construction.  So I stuck my finger out, and got us a ride from some guy and got past that point.  Cars are allowed but walkers were not.  We had some sausages, and a

We also saw the IndianHead rock.

We walked down to the original bus drop off and went up to Taixiang where we found out that the Baiyang Trail was open.  This is where the Curtain of Water is, and I thought we could walk behind the waterfall.

WELL, the boys took off their clothes and Kurt changed into bathing suit and KR went in his underwear and sat and walked under the water fall that is in the tunnel.  IT WAS GREAT FUN !!!!!

The walk up there was 2.1 KM ONE WAY, and I was tired by the time we came down.

We took the bus, but about a mile down, had to wait about 45 min for constrution, where the road is one way, and then instead of getting off at the visitor center we decided to go all the way back to the train station.

Having had no lunch, kind of, we walked on the East side of the station (opposite from where we lived, West side) and found a bee shop where we bought some honey.  The worker was going to eat at a local place so we followed her and ate there too.  I had dirt chicken, and they had pork chops with four different side dishes.  We  bought a bottle of local wine and had a swig.  We listened to a sermon and went to sleep.

We were very tired.,  My hip and knee was whinging a bit.

Around the whole island - Beginning Wednesday

We got up pretty early and went to find coffee, Louisa was not open until  7 30 and it was 7 20.  We walked around and could not find anything other than Family Mart open for coffee so we went back to Louisa and KR had a cup.  I had some instant upstairs.

We woke up Kurt for the train, he took a shower, we packed and went out to the train station, via Brown Line, then to Blue line.

We found the station, and then went to food court.  KR and Kurt had sandwiches and I had Water Cooked Bao, and they were great.  Plus they had salad.

We boarded the train, right on time, and two hours later we were in Hualien.  Walked about half a mile to the rooming house.  Very nice place, third floor, two queen size bed.  Trying to figure out how to get around tomorrow for Torako Gorge.  Kurt and KR took a nap, I tried to et someone to print another bus schedule.

We are going out to the Night Market and walking around to see what there is to see in Hualien.

It was too long of a walk so we took a taxi from the train station, to the center part of town.  We lined up for the famous ShiLoanBow, and KR had some hot and sour soup too, then we walked to the night market, which was at the old train station, next to the ocean.  Except things were just starting to pick up as night markets don't start too early, and we were there by 5.

KR and Kurt shot some pellets at the balloons and won a deck of cards !!!  hahahah

We then walked to a shop that sold red bean soup and rice balls.  I loved it.

Then it was Curry Man for curry that KR wanted.  They each ate a whole bowl of curry.  I was too full from the other stuff.  I could not believe they both finished the whole thing.

We taxied back and took a shower and went to bed.  Tomorrow will be a whole day at Taroko Gorge.

What a trip so far

Tuesday

We had a LONG sleep, and getting up about 6 30, went down to MICKEY D and had brekkie.  KR said he had to have some meat.  Last night's dinner was NOT enough for him.

After brekkie, we were suppose to go to the traditional open air market, but Lovely came and picked us up.  We went to her house.  They had almost finished ALL THE DONUTS !!!!!!

Abby and I went for an oil massage, and KR and Isaiah went to the blind massage.  The weirdest thing was that they massage your BOOBS here, and Abby didn't tell me.  She said Lovely always tell them NOT to do that for her, and I didn't know.  And the oil is not heated, so it was kind of cold, but the pad you lay on is always hot.

We took a shower and then Lovely picked us up and dropped us off at Kurt's school

It was nice seeing him after 6 months.  We toured his school, met his cat Juju, and took the bus and MRT to his Beitow dorm, and repacked his suitcase.  He was taking way too much stuff.

We took the MRT back to mom's senior center and went to a Thai restaurant for dinner.  Everyone except Abby was there.  Lovely came after her tutoring, and had to leave for Bible study.

Alan took us back to the apartment where we packed for our next 7 day trip, and dropped off bedding for Kurt as he is staying with us.

We went to bed pretty early, after packing.

Day of arrival - Monday 2/17/2020

I had a little dinner on the plane, after sleeping for a few hours, then went back to sleep.  I slept pretty good, getting up about twice to pee and to get a little snacks in the back.

KR had the N95 mask on and slept.  Then it was time for breakkie.  I ate a Chinese brekkie and watch The Farewell, it was a great movie.

Alan picked us up and we went directly to the apartment that Lovely's friend loaned her for us.  It is right above Neihu Station, the Brown Line.

It is only about 300 square foot and a million DOLLARS !!!!  But newly remodeled, and smells new.

We had a massage appt at 10 30 with the blind masseuses and by the time an hour and a half had passed, I thought it was 25 minutes.

Then it was lunch on the street  behind the massage place.  We had different kinds of dumplings.  They were great.  We came back for a little rest, then it was MRT and hair cutting.  KR got a hair cut and I got a wash and deep conditioning.  It was great great and great

We then took the MRT to mom's senior center and surprised her.  She seems a little out of it.  Wearing a mask and not too too enthused to see us.  We stayed about an hour, dancing and singing with her.  We also bought some juice and rice ball with red bean that I got and she ate it all.  We walked to a restaurant that Alan liked, we weren't too thrilled.  KR said not enough meat.  I was not that hungry, so it was no big deal for me.  We ate, and then Alan drove us back and we went to bed after listening to a guest sermon from Branch of Hope.

All I remember from it is that his last name was Shaw.  OK, I checked, his name is John Shaw.

Day of Departure Saturday 2-15-2020

Saturday.

I could not get up early.  Just so so tired, so slept in until about 6 30.  Took Gracie down for a short walk.  Eric and Jen were suppose to be here by mid morning but they didn't show up until after 2.  That is ok, we both took a nap.

Gracie still does not want to eat much.  We add a little hot water to her food to soften it up a bit.  We stopped at Donut Den for 21 dollars of donuts and then Ralphs for valentines candy and Oreo cookies they wanted.

Arlo and Amelia, Jen and Eric's dogs are just a handful.  Very rambunctious.  So KR and Gracie hid in Kurt's room.  They went down to the pier to meet with Jen's sister, and left the dogs here.

KR made steak except he didn't know how to turn on the oven and I didn't check.  We found out at 5 when he was making rice, so we didn't have dinner until 6.

Eric and Jen came back and had dinner with us.  Jen bought some salmon, and we baked it.  It was delicious.

We packed up and left for airport via taxi.

When we got there mom's taxi card did not work said had no money.  I should have checked but KR said the card had over 40 dollars.  I had to give him , the taxi driver 40 dollars.

Gracie was pretty depressed when we left.

We checked in about 8 and she, the lady at the Eva counter said the plane was not full.  I was VERY lucky that I got three seat to myself.  KR had the isle seat but there was someone on the other side of him.  I took half a klonipin and went to sleep.

GRACIE BLEEDING

Got up to a large puddle of blood from Gracie's mouth on the bed and sheets.  PRAYING AWAY !!!!!

I am going to work and KR is going to call Dr White office to take her in.  Praying it is just a tooth, and nothing else.  Did the load of laundry.  Glad I put on the waterproof mattress pad or else the mattress would have been just a bloody mess.

Went to work, and the wrench will not work, so I asked Will for help and he managed to tighten the abutment, and I cleaned Mable's teeth and came home.

KR took the pup down and we were both so so worried that it could be something bad.,  The doctor, not White, his associate, called and said it is either:  perio issue, a bad tooth, or tumor.  We just both cried.

I came home and cleaned and packed   We didn't go to Claudia's Valentine thing as Gracie was just groggy and hardly ate,  When she did, she yelped a little like she was in pain.  We brought her upstairs and she slept in her bed all night.  Sleeping off the anesthetic prolly.

We thank GOD for his mercy.  Gracie is with us still.

No work Thursday

Walked Gracie along the beach.  Gracie had her regular treat from Natalie.

We hung some pictures, as KR didn't want to wait until Lovely came, like I asked.  He is doing a good job.

We took all the carpets out of the garage and swept and then rearranged the carpets, and scrubbed the maroon one with the palm trees, and it turned out pretty good,  We might leave it in the living room.  It will prolly take several days to dry

We drove two cars down and I got a burger from Dr Trotter office, Valentine In-N-Out special.  ALso got some chicken salad.  Saw Greg and his staff and I said "hi Greg", he just ignored me.  I brought the food to KR, who was sitting with Howard and Danny at L&L BBQ, and then I went to my massage with Nazareth.

Came home and hung more pictures.

Gave Gracie three rib bones and her mouth bled all over the little piece of carpet.  Hope it is nothing serious.

Patty and Mike came to give us the stuff for Forrest.

Went to bed and listened to Hope Chapel sermon.

LAST day of remodeling WEDNESDAY

I almost overslept and went to yoga.

Walked Gracie after yoga at the beach.

Tomas and Juan came about 10 30?  And worked until 3.  KR went to  paddling, and had a BLT .  I also made a BLT for Juan and salad wit tuna for Tomas.  I rode around the neighborhood.

Made a new appt to Chris for today 3 30.

Ben Yong came and I paid him the last amount.

THE 55,600 dollar remodeling is now FINISHED !!!!

Well, except for the lazy susan doors which will be here soon, I hope.  Ben or someone will bring that back and add another coat of the varnish.

KR went to mom's for a nap and I went to see Chris, while the varnish dried.

Came home and all is well, except KR thinks there are several areas that are a little sloppy.  Oh well.

WORKING Tuesday 2/11/2020

AND I forgot Chris' appt

First thing is work, 8 am Mable Duncan, but I cannot deliver the crown.  Will's wrenches don't work and the one I borrowed from Trent is the hand driver.  So I just temperarily cemented the crown and will do it later, next month when I come back and borrow from Tom Omoto.

After Mable it was Carole Gooch, who CANNOT handle the large sensor.  We took FMX, she needs a new crown.  Then it was Nagamani Nadella.  WOW.  She got whiplashed again, from a car, and her neck no good again.

I was so so tired when I got home and after eating went to pool and took a nap.  Tomas and Juan didn't come.  Tomas had to take care of a leaking toilet in Irvine..  We walked the dog???  Yes, I think and then had dinner.  I cooked ribs, slowly in the oven for over 4 hours.  They were great.

We listened to a sermon but I fell asleep half way.

Monday, February 10, 2020

Yoga Monday 2/10/2020

I got up at 5 15 and went to yoga, and Adele came in just when it started.  Said it was really hard to get up.

KR went to Chris' and then we went to walk the dog.  The old trail by the city border Torrance/PV, the tree section.  We have not been there for years.  Gracie loved the new smells, and she was really tired at the end.  We only walked about half hour.  It was pretty long for her.

Came home and Tomas and Juan were working, they lightly sanded the stairs and it looked a little better.  NOT so gray, and we went to the pool for a nap.  I actually slept.  KR went to Torrance Transit and tried to put money in mom's taxi card and the lady said there were 45 rides already.  Oh man, someone must have put money in there and it was not our card.  So I will go on Wednesday to try to figure out how to return the money.

I went to the office to put in a work order, mom's gate latch just rusted off.

Juan took everything out of the cubby under the stairs and put flooring under there.  WOW

I made them salad and eggs and fried chicken and roast.  They ate almost everything.

I put out the old but very nice snoopy curtains for BNT, I wanted to keep them, but they are really young looking.

Went to bed early???  Can't remember as it is Wednesday now

Sunday

We got up and walked the dog to the park and then went to church.  KR had a meeting with Pastor Mike and we went to the 9 am service.  When he was meeting with Mike, I went to Sherwin Williams and talked to the guy there about how the color of the stain is really off.  He said to contact corporate, and left it at that.  It also was suppose to rain, and it finally did, later on.

KR had a big sandwich made from the roast we had Friday night.  I tried putting more things away.

I went to my class, at the Y and KR took Gracie for a ride.

There has been not much surf the last few days

Dinner was just a bit of salad.  We listened to Paul V's sermon and was asleep by 8 30

Sunday, February 9, 2020

South Bay Community Church Saturday

We were sitting having coffee and Tomas comes walking around with Juan.  They were suppose to call and let us know they were coming.  They did the crown molding.  Tomas knee no good.  And then stained the stairs.

THE COLOR WAS WAY WAY OFF !!!!!!!!!!

We went to walk the dog around the park, then KR had KLUB and I took the Macy's to the airport.  There were Sarah, Sam, Yvonne, and Samara.  It was a mad dash so that John can catch a flight to Brazil while the rest of them went to Switzerland except Sam, he caught a Uber to downtown LA to meet with friends.

Got back and KR went to mom's for a nap and I went there to eat as it was no walking on the stairs

We went to SBCC, it was great.  They also had food like spam masubi, and salad and fruit salad and donuts.  I had a little bit of fruit salad.

Home ate very little dinner

Yesterday I was 108.8 in the morning, and today 111.  I like me skinny.

Friday, February 7, 2020

Bible Study Friday

Got up by 5 30 and started laundry.  I picked up a bunch of stuff in the alley and KR said to give them away, so I did two loads of laundry.  There was a very nice and new double bed mattress cover so I made the bed downstairs with it.

We waked the dog and at 9 07 Kevin calls and said he was at our house.  Ben told us he would come at 10.  We rushed home and he got started with the quiet closing drawer and door knobs.  At 11 Andy came, and started grinding the sharp corners.  Kevin left about ??  Andy left about 2 30.  We spent the whole day cleaning.  So essentially KR worked from 9 30 - 2.  He was grouchy about so much cleaning.  I spent 9 30 - 4 cleaning, and cooking.

I made delicious lemon bars, but the roasts were overcooked, for me, I should have taken them out sooner, or at least one out.

The house was ready !!!

Cindy and Tony could not come.

Kelby and Chris were almost an hour late, but came anyway.

We had everyone else and the dinner was great.  Didn't get to bed until 10 30  so so tired

Working Thursday

I left early for work, 8 - 1.  It was not that busy but the cases were hard.  I brought the girls the costume jewelry, and the dripping cup I got from BNT, didn't work too well.

Got home and KR had great lunch of flap steak cooked with salad.

I was 108.6 this morning.   A NEW RECORD !!!!

I ate and went to work cleaning.  Juan, Sebastian and Miguel were working away.

I put most of the living room together.  Mopped the floors.  Went to bed listening to a sermon.  Middle of the night I went upstairs again, Gracie wedged to bed.

Wednesday

KR went surfing early and I worked on cleaning, then office meeting 9 - 11.  Came home and Juan and Sebastian were painting and Miguel was sanding.

Had lunch and then I was late to my massage.  I was riding my bike and Nazareth text me, too bad I forgot.  We gave away the parrot kite, plus the weights, 8 and 15 pounders and the weight ball.

Dinner and bed and sermon.  We slept downstairs.

Gracie came to bed and I went upstairs.

Tuesday, February 4, 2020

Working Tuesday

KR went to Oswald and I didn't get up until 6 30.  Gracie didn't get up until 7 30.  She kept wanting to get on the bed with us.  Wonder what she would do tonight.

Juan and Miguel came.  No Tomas, no Sebastian.  They finished the flooring in our room and the floor boards.  Tomorrow will be painting.  I put together Kurt's room, as Juan said he does not know how to do crown molding.  I just need to put everything back together before the bible study this Friday.

I went to work from 10 - 12.  Saw Monika Olmos and Charlene.  Got home and we went to Costco.  Heard on the news that the San Gabriel Valley big box stores have no one there.  Bet every Asian is wearing a mask.

KR took Matthew and Bubba to Mulligan's for a one last blast.  I ran about 1.25 mile and my knee hurts quite a bit.  17 min mile I think.  Took some advil and went to bed really early, downstairs again.

New Booking Eva Air

KR went to Chris' and then to his CT scan of the ear.  MIGHT HAVE ANOTHER SURGERY????  He went to the post office to mail to House Ear Clinic,  I mailed off all the warranties, and appliance registrations.

So I got up early to call Air China.  Only took 15 minutes to connect.  Canceled the tickets via Beijing to Taiwan.

Booked Eva Air same dates.  Only cattle class seats.  Think we will have plenty of space to lay down.  LAX should be empty.

The crew, Juan and Sebastian came early.  Then Tomas came with the flooring and they finished painting Kurt's room, but didn't get to do the crown molding.

While we were walking Gracie on the fire trail, Chris' office called, there was a cancelation, and I went at 12 30.  Funny thing, Michele DeYoung is the one canceled.  My knee feels much better.

KR went to mom's for a nap and I cleaned ore.

We slept downstairs, but had to fight Gracie all night.  She wanted to come to bed and it is only a double so not enough space.  I had the heating pad set up on her bed but she was having none of it.

Oh man, what a dog.

State of the Church Sunday

So we decided to go to KHC to hear Mike.  Walked Gracie first, and it was cold.  From Saturday of 80 to Sunday 63.  WOW

Went to church, and came home to clean and clean.

Superbowl party at the Kaplans at 3.  Went to exercise class and then back to Kaplans.  THEY COOKED SO MUCH FOOD.

Chiefs came back from a deficit fo 10 pounds to pounce the 49ers 31 - 20, can't believe it.

Went to bed waiting for the crew tomorrow.

Gotta finish the house

Saturday, February 1, 2020

No Surf Saturday

KR went surfing but it was not good enough so he came home and we went to Rosie's Beach.  Of course Gracie had a great time.  I walked/limped about 1.5 miles picking up poop.  We came home and Juan and Sebastian were still working.  They got here about 8 like they said they would.

We turned around and went to the pool.  I had a nice nap at the pool.  There were so many ladies and they were having a good old time.  But I still slept anyway.

We went to Community Church of South Bay on 190th street 5 p service.  Saw a few people we knew, and the service was good.  Came home for a little dinner, bed !!!!

This Coronavirus is just spreading too fast and too much.  Cancel flight?????  Go another day????
