Wednesday THE HEAT WAVE

Today is suppose to be 85

I got up at 6 15, a bit late.  KR went surfing and I started on the vegetables.  There was so much green onions, and more cantaloupe and Brussels sprouts that i was getting a blister.  I gave a bag to Sarah and she sent us some duck, mung bean dessert, and shrimp/pork thingy.  She had her appt with Dr Kelliny and she is going to lose the tooth #3.  Most likely root fracture.

KR surfed a long long time.  I went to the pool and had an hour walk about.  Rode to Jon's to deliver some beets.  Came home and stopped at mom's the plumber came to snack the bath tub drain.  I had asked them to call before stopping, but he said he was in the area and just decided to stop.  Oh, what a Lovely man  NOT

Violet took dad to take chest x ray and head scan.  Dr Lee (BLESS HIS SOUL) called me at about 8 and said the scans and x rays look fine.  He is sending paperwork for CT scan of abdomen and pelvis.

Sarah called and we picked up some food, fresh chicken nuggets and mac and cheese and ribs and all kinds of stuff.

Kurt was at Christina's until very late.  THAT BOY

I transferred 1000 via Western Union to John's account in Iraq as he is having trouble getting money there via Action.

More working Tuesday

KR went surfing and I had to work.  He said he was going to be home early but didn't get home until after I had left.  I saw Michelle Ackerman, then Carole Gooch, and then Joe Ward.  Can't believe i had not seen Joe for almost a year and half.  AND HE HAD TARTAR !!!

Kathy helped me, and I got out about 3.  When I got home I realized I don't have my phone.  I had dropped it outside the car.  THANK goodness I did not run it over.  I would have cried.  I rode my bike back to the office and came home.

KR ordered Gaetano food and we went over to Yeye's for dinner.  Mostaccioli with meat sauce, eggplant parmigiana with zukes, stuffed artichokes, and squid.  It was great food.  Dad seems to be in a pretty good spirit.  His chicken egg is almost done.

We came home and watched the debate.

IT WAS LIKE SEEING TWO BOYS ARGUE.  Trump would not stop interrupting Biden.  Oh man.  NOT ANOTHER FOUR YEARS of the Orange One. How can anyone think he is good enough to lead this country????  Biden is no angel but my goodness, using the BIBLE just to get vote and pandering to the right is JUST NOT RIGHT !!!

KR also had zoom Royal family stuff and we went to bed by 9

Working Monday

Dr Sata is back at home as her dad is having open heart surgery this week.  Our new intern, Tony Ly is too too slow.  Driving Maribel crazy.

I worked 7 45 - 12, 2 - 3 45.

I go give blood.  It takes them an hour before they get to me.  I go home and KR cooked steak and rice and salad.  I was very hungry.  Had steak and kale that KR cooked yesterday

Went to bed feeling very exhausted.  Asked KR not to read in bed and he got mad.  I was asleep in no time flat

Church on Sunday

I went over there early and fed dad breakfast.  He ate like a bird.

Then KR came over to get him to go to church.  He had originally said he would go, then he would not go  and then when KR and Kurt came over, he did go.

Paul did a good job

We drove home and KR and Kurt drove the truck to Whittier and loaded up the the table, and the desk and brought it home.  They threw the easy chair away as it was really grimy and the vibration didn't work too well.

Dad and I had lunch.  He still didn't eat much.  BUT he is up to 135 pounds from 131 about two weeks ago.  Kurt came over for Ye Ye care and I went to Target to exchange the paints that Sowmya bought for dad to the colors he wanted.  I come back and dad says he needs BEIGE, why didn't he say so?  I go to Michael's and NO BEIGE.  I buy two of VANILLA.

IT IS THE BEST 25 bucks I ever spent

Dad starts painting the chickens and rooster card that I found.  HE IS REALLY GOOD

KR cooks dinner and he brings over.  We eat outside and then have a little chat before we come home and Kurts put him to bed and he stays there a little, like 11 before he comes home

Never a dull moment Saturday

So KR goes surfing and I am doing paperwork of dad.  Violet calls, dad won't get up and I go over there with a book and he said it is a book his friend wrote and has him in it.  He is in a much better mood and pretty soon he gets up and have breakfast with Violet.

Mimi said yesterday that that the guy she is dating just tested positive for Covid and she went to a rapid test and it was NEGATIVE.  I was ok with her working with dad on Monday but Violet is not so Violet will do next Monday, as I have to work, and KR does not want to do it.

KR comes home and goes to farmers market.  There are some nice cantaloupes and lettuce,  I made a salad out of the tomatoes and lettuce and Kurt cup up several melons.  We went to pick up the car from Mike.  Stephen did not want to mess with the smog.  We figured out how to shut the check engine light off.  Just unplug the battery terminal, BLACK, wait 10 minutes, plug back in.  The light went off!!!!!  We drove it home

I went to Ye Ye's as Violet left about 4 pm and KR brought dinner over and we had dinner and I put him to bed and came home

MORE WORK

So I got permission to take dad to office.  Forrest was my first patient then it was dad.  MAN HIS TEETH ARE BAD BAD AND BAD

He has such bad breath I knew something was up.  He is not able to brush himself, and just broke a clasp on the lower left in his PLD.  I need to figure out what to do as his PLD floats a little.  Kathy did FMX and I cleaned his teeth a bit.  NOT finished as he was in a bit of pain.  Will have to bring him back for more cleaning next month.

He came home for lunch and then wrote a letter to his sister May.  Violet said this morning he didn't want to write, but the afternoon he was ok.  BUT he gave me a whole lecture on envelope etiquette.  REALLY

NOT SUPPOSE TO WRITE ANYTHING BUT NAME AND ADDRESS ON UPPER LEFT

What?

AND NOT SUPPOSE TO WRITE ON THE BACK IF YOU ARE SENDING A CARD

What?

Oh well.

KR went to Bill Johnson's for a Goodbye party for Rick P, from church.  Came home and we had ZOOM with the gang  All present except Tony and Joanne.  So nice to have Tony and Cindy rejoin us.

ME working BOYS gun shootng

We all got up early.  KR got ready for going shooting.  I went to work.  Megha had called me yesterday that our new intern, Tony Ly, is REALLY slow.  He is.  I worked from 6 45 to 1.  Went to El Super and bought a lot of meat, and then to

EYE DOCTOR APPT

Dr Olinger did exam and gave me RX for eyes.  His glasses are really expensive, so I might try to get at Zenni, or somewhere.

Went to AAA and got dad the handicap placard.

Came home and the boys were not home.

They went shooting somewhere north of Wrightwood.  KR, Kurt, Jun Soo, Taylor, Taylor's dad, Teddy (who had all the guns) and one other guy.  THEY HAD SUCH A GOOD TIME

I cooked pork ribs, taco meat, and boiled chicken for Gracie, at 59cents a pound, why not.

We had dinner and everyone went to bed.  I was exhausted,

Wednesday

No problem with dad.  KR and I walked Gracie at the beach and I went to Chase Bank and notarized paperwork for dad's account.  It took almost an HOUR !!!

KR had brought several boxes back and went through them and sorted stuff for me to see.  Violet cooked lunch for dad and they also went for a walk.  She also gave dad a haircut outside.

I posted the 7 speed bike and the metal table I found in the alley, with the shower chair.  I might keep the metal table.

Took dad and Violet to Dr Lee at 4 for a physical.  They took blood and asked for chest x rays and brain scan.  It was so good to see Curt Lee.

No Zoom tonight.

Just as WEIRD TUESDAY

I go there about 7 and dad was already up.  I tried to get him to eat breakfast and Violet shows up.  Dad starts HOWLING how he wronged Violet and was so so upset.  We finally got him calmed down.  KR had to take Nancy Mustard to see the doctor for consultation for her neck which has been hurting and pinching her nerve and her hands are going numb.

We get dad to eat the pancakes and Violet had bought soy sauce eggs and chinese food and she eats a pizza and I eat an egg and then I go home so we can go to Whittier to move things,

We got there about 11 and leave at 3.  Moved or crushed or gave away stuff.  The futon the next doors lady got.  Three lamps went.  The vacuum and the book shelf went.  We threw away so much stuff and got the two cars packed, plus the mattress.  One lady got the other mattress too.

We came back I was so tired, got Kurt to help.  Stephen came by for Ye Ye's car and Mike came too.  Stephen is going to try to get it smog checked soon and then we will transfer the title and he can keep the car.

Kurt cooked the steak and we had dinner,  I got a notice of NO GO for Access AT&T, but I am uploading his SS 1099, which I finally found and hopefully he can get internet access soon so that Violet can get Wifi.

Kurt went to D&D and KR went to bed b 8 and I stayed up to do paperwork, etc.

Swomya Chigarapalle brought over some PAINT FOR DAD, I cannot believe it.

Monday

 SO SO WEIRD

I go there as Mimi is not coming until at least 8 15, and dad does not get up.  and I try to wake him and I finally call KR and HE CANNOT WAKE DAD.  We were thinking of calling 911, when I put on Green Island Chinese song on my phone and finally, finally woke him up.

He STARTS, and then goes back to sleep.

We wake him and he said that the Angels were taking him in the chariot, in a song.  KR says I know that song, and it is Swing Low, Sweet Chariot. a spiritual song about prophet Elijah being taken to heaven by a chariot.

REALLY !!!!

We finally get him up and eating breakfast.  Mimi comes and he is ok with her. I do a lot of paperwork.  Call Medo-Cal and found out what to do to get him food stamps.  Go to the YMCA for application for food.

Mimi leaves at 4 20 and I stay and then KR bring dinner over and we have Marie Callendar Chicken pot pie and KR has taco salad.  We put him to bed and we come home

WHAT a day Sunday 9-20-2020

I didn't get up until past 6.  I drove to dad's as I can see he got up by 7.  KR was not hurrying over therem, so I told dad I will be right back,  I went to pick up Nancy for her MRI at Kaiser.

KR called and said that dad did not want to eat breakfast and was ready to die.,  AGAIN

So I told KR to humor him, and I got a miffed that KR would not listen, and just did what KR wanted, like leaving and going home to get a book to read.  HE fed dad and then instead of reading to dad, he just read by himself.

I drove to Kaiser and ran around Machada Lake, in Harbor City.  Nancy got done, I dropped her off at our house and went to mom's and spoke with dad.  He did not want to live but is not able to find a park to 'do himself in'.  Rather pathetic.

So I stayed there and spoke with him and did not go to church as he refused to go.

KR and Nancy and Kurt went to church.  Then KR came over and brought the ostrich eggs out of the garage and some paints.,  Dad got a little interested in painting and sanding the eggs.  We set up a sanding area for him outside and he got to work.  I finally left and came home.

Rode around to get coffee and cat food.  Hawaiian coffee and expensive Fussie Cat food.  Then I rode to Michael Gooch and left Ye Ye's car there and ran home, so when Kurt picks the Gooch's up he can drive the Corolla home.

KR took Bubba and Matthew out to RFK beach day, and ate at Ted's

Kurt gave Ye Ye pizza and put him to bed and came home.

Saturday

I do lots of laundry.  It was at least warm so dried easy.  Mostly Kurt's stuff the first load.  Then I go to see dad and Violet.  He is doing much better.  No more ranting about dying.

I start on the paperwork.  It is so weird to see the WHOLE life of paperwork.  Found the divorce papers from Cindy Ko, 1977 about and the divorce papers of Violet Ko.  And the marriage certificate of dad and Violet.  And many letters from Warren and Mimi to dad.

Seems like a peeping tom and a voyeur

I rode my bike around and then went for a 5K run.

KR went surfing first, then farmers market.  We got lots of good corn and some strawberry and grapes.  We took the food over to dad and Violet and had dinner together  It was very nice.

So weird to see him living there,

I am going to print a bunch of pictures so he knows that he can live there.  He keeps asking if I am the owner and if KR and I live together,  So many things that he cannot remember.

I hope Violet works out as a caregiver.  She has debt from her credit card bills for gambling.  I just don't get that but it is very bad for many Chinese she says.

I opened a bag of dad's sheets and they were so so dirty from not washing that I threw them away.  After cleaning the BBQ.

I cooked Mark's fish, the 25 pound yellowtail he got.  It was very delicious

We brought dinner over to dad's and had dinner there.  Seafood KR cooked, salad, corn off the cob, rice and noodles,  It was very good.  Violet put dad to bed and went home

A FULL day of unloading stuff

I didn't get up until 6 15.  Put in a load of laundry and got KR to drop the brown futon that dad had.  A BNT friend wanted it from Candy Cane Lane.  He went surfing and I started on hold again for Medi-Cal.  Two hours later I found out that the documents I uploaded is good and she changed dad's address, and contact person and phone number.

I then ran to the Gooch's and got my bike back.  I SHOULD have driven their car back so that Sunday I can get home with my car.

I rode around and the Violet called and said that dad is not willing to get up and eat lunch said that he was willing to die      DIE  NOT AFTER I DID ALL THIS WORK NO NO NO

I went over there and thought maybe he would want to talk to James Hu, so I got James on the phone, but dad said that James was a womanizer and he didn't want to talk James and he was ready to die.  I managed to convince dad to eat lunch and take a nap.  Man oh man

It was 87 today, supposedly.

I had wanted to go for a walk in the pool but no can do.

Too much fire and unhealthy air quality so we did not go away

I went through dads paperwork and found a life insurance with 110000 dollars of benefit.  I will call Monday to find out if it is still in effect and WHO THE BENEFICIARY is  hahaha  maybe maybe I can change it if it is not who i think should be,

We sat outside on the patio for a bit and Kurt drank TOO MUCH and I spoke with uncle Jesse and they had left over Panda for dinner and went to bed.

Working Thursday

I got to work by 6 45 and it was crazy crazy the first two hours.  KR came to take out Diego's tooth #1 at 11.  He came early, what a nice guy.  BUT he got a ticket for running a stop sign on 147th street.  Oh man, that is the second one in 18 months.

I left at 12 45 after planting the pumpkin plant with a SPOON.

Then I rode my bike to Michael Gooch to take them to the airport.  Came by via 99 cent store on Anza and had to bring Carole's car back.  We now have FOUR WHITE CARS  !!!!  HAHAHAHAHAH

At least Bill is coming to pick up the van tomorrow.

I started calling Medi-Cal and was on hold for over an hour before I got through and was told that I needed to upload the power of attorney first.  Took me forever to find his customer ID number for Medi-Cal.  Oh what a chore.  I finally got everything registered online and uploaded the proper documents.

I also applied for CalFresh.  I also requested application for IHSS so that Violet can be paid.

I didn't go to bed until 10 pm.

Another day of Moving Wednesday 9/16/2020

We walked Gracie down at the beach, and met Violet at 7 30.  She had driven down from Temecula to be the caregiver.  We started driving to Whittier, with me in the van and KR in his car.  KR got a little lost as he did not want to Waze it himself, just to follow me, but he didn't pay attention and went 605 SOUTH instead of NORTH.

We started packing, and Mimi came up too.  About three hours later, we were tired and done.  We had lunch at Puffy Taco right across the street.  Then drove home.  We dumped the stuff at mom's garage, and came home.

I cooked steak, and made a salad.  Had stopped at Korean Store for lettuce and jujube and fruit.  I dropped the diner off at mom's for Violet and Dad.  Came home and went for a run.  Just two miles.

Mimi had said that she applied unemployment for Violet and Violet got all kinds of money and gambled it ALL AWAY !!!!

Oh man, what an addiction.  Violet told Mimi 12000, and told Warren 17000. Whatever it is, it needs to stop or she will end up homeless.

There is so much paperwork to go through and sort.  I found bill for TV and dad has not had a TV for years.  Almost 200 bucks.  Mimi threw away almost all of the mementos fro her past, like her high school plaques, or her college stuff.  Dad wanted to save everything and she didn't want any of it.  Also Warren's stuff she said to throw out.  Wow, I just cant understand some of them

We were suppose to go away this weekend, but I think we are too tired to go.  Just going to hang out.

One patient Tuesday

We go walk the dog and I have only one patient.  Saw Guillermo Valezuela at 9 and came home to do more paperwork.  I go over to see dad for lunch, and then went back to office to deliver the crown for Monika as we were trying to go to Whittier to move more of dad's stuff.

The crown is much better shade, and we glued it in.

Then I realized we forgot the Farmers Market.

Oh well.  We had left over dinner, KR had pho and I can't remember what I ate and went to bed.

Monday, September 14, 2020

A brand new week Monday

I got up before KR at 6 am.  Dad stirred and I went over there to give him breakfast.  He was so long winded about that he did not need much, just some table food he can eat, he is not picky, so I think it would really help to have Violet here.  I sent the email to all and hoping that everyone is on board.

KR had his Zoom and went diving but didn't catch anything.  Mark dropped off a calico yesterday.  I met Violet and Mimi at 10 and Violet is going to start watching dad Tuesday through Saturday, with Sunday and Monday off.  Mimi will take Monday, but she said she needs to be done by 4 15 pm.  We will see about if she can come late Sunday night.

After his lunch of soup and fruit, I went home and printed out all the notary stuff, durable power of attorney, etc.  I also ordered lunch from the YMCA daily, with frozen to be picked up five meals at a time.  There is a suggested donation, but he has no money so we are not going to pay.  Dad gets about 875 per month from SS, all of which will be going to his care.

I met Elaine Notary and it cost 45$ for the notary.  So I got Durable power of attorney, Advance Directive Health care, and DMV authorization for his car.  Phew, now I can move along with banking, etc.

Carole and Mike come over to get the suitcase we have to take to Chris when they go for the wedding on Thursday.  I brought it over from mom's so they can borrow.  Dad had dinner of left over pasta.

Sunday, September 13, 2020

Church with Father Sunday

So I go there and tried to feed him breakfast.  Dad said that he cleaned everything and was ready to go back to Whittier.  Took another hour to convince that he cannot go back.

KR walks the dog and we go to church.

He drops us off and I brought in two boxes of books and got dad to start putting his books away, so that HE LIVES there now, and his stuff is there.  He talks on and on and on.

I do a load of his laundry, and hang them out side.  I make him drink vegetable soup and eat the bun Grace got us.  He liked it enough he ate the whole bun.

The rollaway bed got picked up.  Donna will come and get the futon tomorrow.

I went back there for dinner with him and brought home several boxes to clean up.

I am so so tired.  He forgot his kids names and who was married to whom.  When I got back to feed him dinner he thought that mom was coming back so he could not eat.  He forgot that I said mom had been living in Taiwan for over a year and is not coming back anytime soon.

Oh man

I finally put him to bed and came home and there were ANTS AGAIN, all over the microwave area.

HE WANTS TO GO BACK

So I go over there and dad says He is ready to move back.  Took me over an hour trying to convince him that the Section 8 housing does NOT want him back and that he needs to stay at the condo.  It was not easy.. ....  He can talk for hours and hours.

I posted the rollaway bed for giveaway.

He took a nap after I gave him some lunch.

Kurt and I went over to Whittier and packed up as much as we can.  We didn't leave until 4 and got home a bout 7 30.  I paid him 40 dollars.

The van was completely full, and I drove dad's little Corolla all the way home, about 58 mph, so slow.  I don't think I have ever driven that slow.  I had purchased 2 quarts of oil and added about 1 1/2 qt to the engine.  The windshield fluid container is cracked.  That is why there is no fluid in there.

KR went over there trying to feed him, but dad said he was not ready to eat yet.

Oh man I am tired.

Moving Father Friday September 11, 2020

Today is the 19th anniversary of 9/11 and we also moved father.  I went to the beach to walk Gracie with KR after I parked my car at office.  I saw Guillermo for filling #12 DOB, turned out really well, then tried to deliver Monika's crown but it was too light, then it was Darryl Moore cleaning.

Father called and said he was willing to move into mom's condo, and I said I would call him back and talk to him after work.

Then Valarie from father's condo called and said that he brought out his bowl of 'pills' and said he was going to do himself in as he was lonely and depressed, and I told her I was going to move him TODAY.  She said GOOD.

So after work, I went home and ate a quick meal and we went out to Whittier, met Mimi and packed him up and came back.  THERE WAS A LOT OF PACKING.  His place was a mess and had not been cleaned for what look like YEARS.

I had to take him to see Valarie and Marcos and thank them, as he had been there 12 years or so.

I took him to see L. J. Sung, who turns out to be my GODMOTHER'S husband, her name is Ma Hung Ling.  I REMEMBER HER.  She was an absolute bombshell when she was young.

We got back and got him settled.  Mimi copied the key and brought Hawaiian and we all had dinner, including Brian M who came by as we were getting ready to eat.

Father went to bed, we came home.  I was really tired.

Thursday, September 10, 2020

Working Thursday

Got to work early, 6 45 and off by 12 45.  Drove out to see father.  He said last night that he was depressed and crying because his car had died.

Well, his car did not die, just can't pass SMOG.  Took three hours to figure that one out.  I also asked him to move to mom's condo but he didnt' want to.  Spoke to Mimi several times.

Long story

I got there about 1 30 and tried to get him to open the door.  I call and he speaks cantonese to me, and starts singing.  I don't know what he is talking about, and I tried to yell at him.  But he just hangs up as he cannot hear from the phone in the bedroom.

Got home by 4 30  So exhausted.

Dinner is salad.

Tomorrow another work day

Weird Sky Wednesday

KR goes surfing, tried Lunada and made it to Manhattan Beach.  Kurt came home early, after dropping Florian off at San Pedro.  He had a swimming party at Christina's with Corrina.  He also brought the CORN HOLE game that Danielle had threw away next door.

Bill Johnson came for lunch and KR cooked them steak and rice and Chinese vege.  I went for a run and then to visit Rita, who said her shower was not working.  I took a look and it was just that she did or could not get her control button pushed back enough to shut off the water.  The guys at the office came and took a look, I told them I fixed it.  I then text Shawn to see if he can get the control changed out so Rita can actually get it off and on herself.

Came home and KR took a nap.  We went to bed early, or at least I did.

Kurt didn't come home until very late, more like 1 AM, looks like he is hanging with his "friend" Corrina.  Christina and Johann seem to like him very much.

Working Tuesday

KR takes Gracie to Rosie's and I go to work, seeing Mary Eileen at 9 and Ramona at 10.  I come home and KR has had a beer or two and was a bit nasty.  I told him later and he actually admitted and apologized.  He said something to me about the lettuce and I was reading something so did not reply and he said, "A reply would be nice".  I just don't know when he would be nasty when he has only one beer,

We go to Farmer's Market and got a bunch of corn and zuchinni, which i gave some to Grace and Sarah and I cooked a bunch and made soup.

We watch Pastor Thrash on FB Live and then went to bed.  Sky really weird, with orange glow from the fires

Tuesday, September 8, 2020

Labor Day 2020 Monday

It was rather weird, with the red glowing sun, due to the fires.  The cars parked outside was covered with ash.  We went to walk the dog and she was a HAWT dog at 7 30  We went over to mom's to clean out the garage.  Gave away one set of clubs and the cat kennel and the printer we got from Rob and more stuff.

It never got really hot.  I did a loud of laundry.  Also picked up the bird feeder from Debbie around the corner.  She is cleaning our mom and dads house getting ready for sale or rental.  She lives in Washington.  So much stuff to do she says.

We had left over for dinner.

We watched the movie COCO, and I have not watched anything for YEARS.  It was a tear jerker.

Went to bed at 10 pm

Sunday, September 6, 2020

EVEN HOTTER SUNDAY

We got up and went to the beach to walk Gracie.  It was 81 already.  Then we went to church.  It was nice and cool.  Daniel Perkins gave the sermon on Forgiveness.

Then the temperature went up and up.

I spent over an hour scrubbing the chicken coop and replacing the straw and removing all the poop.  I also placed a new roost post.  It was so so hot.  It reached 99 degrees today.

I rode around and picked up another Tommy Bahama beach chair.  It is brand new and the owner prolly cannot close it as the closing is a bit tricky so just decided to chuck it.  KR and Kurt went to the beach with the RFK kids.  KR took Bubba and Matthew to eat at Ted's.  Then down to the beach.  We had picked up 2 dozen donuts.  They are suppose to be down there until sunset.

I went for a run.  Very slow and very hot.

KR came home at sunset and Kurt didn't come home until after 9.  I guess Corrina was there.

We had the fan on all night, and I had to get some ice packs, in the middle of the night, when the ones I brought upstairs had warmed up.

Hot Saturday

Today's is Matthew's birthday.  KR goes surfing and then picks up Matthew and Bubba for Matthew's birthday meal at Denny's.  I go over there and plays Happy Birthday on the recorder and Kurt comes too.  I gave him the VR glasses that I got a while back, I didn't like it.  Made me dizzy.  Yesterday on the way home Matthew and Bubba and June came by and gave him a birthday cake and a gift card from Subway.

KR took them home and we came home and did laundry.  We did some house work and we watched SBCC sermon online.  It was so hot,  high was 91.

We went to bed with the fan on all night.

KR 63rd Birthday Friday 9/4/2020

So we all got up about 12 30 and KR saw his bike early.

He and Kurt went surfing, and I puttered around.  Actually I went for a short run around the neighborhood.  Then I went to work.  Seeing Darryl Moore extracting #8, and cutting the bridge between 9/10, and deliver flipper.

KR didn't want to go to Mariscos Rosarito so we went for a bike ride down the strand ad had a very nice lunch at Kaptain Kidd's, with fried and fresh oysters, scollops, fish tacos, fries, coleslaw  It was amazingly good and we had a great time.

We rode a total of 12.65 miles.  I ran 2 miles and walked .65 miles at running speed of 12.21  minute per mile.  Pretty slow.

Took a shower and they both napped and I posted some stuff, like the blender is going.  And the glass liquid dispensor.

Dinner we went to Denny's, of course, with Gracie.  They had philly cheese and burger.  I ate some of the grand slam.  We took some home.

I went to bed and it was warm.

WORKING THURSDAY

i got to office by 6 45, actually got up a few minutes before 6.  Did the laundry, and KR hung out and made the bed when I was gone.

THE CAT IS AWAY AND MOUSE WILL PLAY

Work was not too busy, and as I was leaving, at 1 pm, Shawn Felis called and said that his son had something up his nose.  I brought a bunch of instruments home trying to get the thing out.  Looks like a little bit of paper clip?  But he was crying too much for me to look  So they went to Torrance Memorial ER to have it removed.

OH MAN

Kurt came home saying that Patti and family went to Big Bear for the weekend.  So he has no work on KR's birthday  !!!   Hurray

Kurt is making a card.  I went over to mom's and shined up the bike.  Kurt will bring it home and surprise KR tomorrow morning

I went to bed by 8 45 and KR was reading another Boney

Wednesday OFFICE MEETING

If it is Wednesday it must be office meeting.

I asked Gary to meet me at 11 with the bike and I will hand over 300 big ones.

Jon thought it is a pretty nice bike and Gary had originally wanted 425.

KR walked the dog, and Kurt went to work, late start.

After meeting, i brought the bike to mom's and had a good wipe down.  I also got two bags of chicken patties from Naby Ak and took them over to mom's and Brian was there cooking the burger and fries and making a lot of smell.  Need to tell him of the FAN.

I also looked for the other hot water pot.  I am starting to give away mom's stuff there, as we don't need it and I am coming to the realization that mom will NEVER move back here to live.

That just makes me sad.

Lovely sent me a package, that included the PRAYING CHICKEN !!!!  HAHAHAH

I love it

And she mailed me some coffee packets.  What a great sister.

This weekend should be HOT HOT and HOT

I went to bed and KR did a little Boney reading

TUESDAY WORKING

So I finally got up and of course KR was up.  He went to walk the dog and I got ready for work.  I saw Mary Eileen for delivery, Margarita for cleaning, And then Kimel.  Got done and came home.

KR had a productive day, painted the light fixture above the bed WHITE.

I then drove to Hawthorne to look at a bike that Jon Liu found on Craiglist.  This guy is like southeast asian, and we met at the Starbuck on 105 and Crenshaw.  I thought we were going to his house,

He wanted 425 and I offered 200 and he said he won't go lower than 300.  We shall see.

I came home and went running / slow jog/ walking around the neighborhood.  Took me 46 minutes to walk the 3.1 miles.  So slow

Kurt came home and KR drove his car to help Kady Newgard move a sofa from Nanette's house.  She thanked us profusely.

Kurt went to D & D about  6 30

We went to bed by 8 15
