Wednesday LAST day of May

The  Gloominess  continues.....

It is  the  last day of May and the  sun  came out  about  30  minutes.  I did laundry and  we  went down to the beach to walk  Angel.   I forgot  my watch so I  don't  know how  long it  was.    Angel  didn't wanna  go  far so we turned around and went  back to the  car.  KR got a lot of  seeds.  

KR tried to go diving, but it  was no  good after he drove up there to look.  So he went to  Dr Lee to get a TB test, for MMA.  I went for a ride almost 8 miles at almost 11.

I went to work and saw Darryl Moore and then Doug Hatano.

Still very dizzy today.  Taking meds at night does not seem to change much.  

My sleep  s  not very good lately since I changed meds time but I just don't  know what else to do.

I cooked tofu and turkey with sun dried tomatoes and broccoli so they can have taco salad for dinner.

Tueday

 So James and Emma decides to keep the car until this afternoon

They went down south somewhere and we took A ngel down  to  the  SAND at RAT  She had a  great time running  around on the sand and we saw a lot of By-the-Wind sailor jellyfish all washed up on the  shore.  KR knew they are called Velella, blue and looks like a small surfboard topped with a  sail.  

He   went to  the FM, and then Ramon's gardners came by and trimmed the tree/bush between our t wo houses and I asked them for a quote

I  went for a  bike ride and got  some money out of mom's account.   The r ide was 9.6 miles.  Kind of  slow though

It IS A  VERY VERY DIZZY DAY   DON"T FEEL TOO   GOOD

I got  rid  of a lot of broccoli and kale

Monday Memorial Day 2023

 Where did i t   go?

I keep telling myself  that  I would remember what happened yesterday, but I DON"T

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY

We took Angel down to the beach and it was GLOOMY, overcast and cloudy.  NOT a good day for beach

Then we  walked over to New Horizon for a HOT dog.  We did not see the duck race.  Suppose to  have rubber ducky race, instead of boat race, but  we heard it was not happening.  We sat with   Gilbert and his  family   and his mom did not  come she had a cold

Came home and they, the boys took a nap.

Emma and James had gone  out somewhere, to the MALL I think to meet Jenny someone

Or maybe we took  Angel to  the park in the  morning and beach in the afternoon.  Don't remember

Could not sleep

I switched  to taking the klonipin at night, but  last  night I went to bed at 10 and watch says  no  sleep until 11   

So I d on't  know what i s  going  on and this typing is driving me  nuts, the  spacing tabs twice

SUNDAY day of church

 I GOT  UP  LATE

I think KR  walked Angel I don't  remember 

We  went to church,  James and Emma went to Long Beach,  the  aquarium or something like  that.  KR told  Kurt  that his rent  was going  to  INCREASE FROM  $600 currently, to $900 July  1, then $1200 August  1.   I  told Kurt we will GIVE him all t he  rent back when  he buys  a place.   

KR started  working  on the broken  sprinkler system and it was a  mess. We walked Angel at the Fire Road.  James cooked the steaks  for  dinner and  Emma  made the  salad.  Kurt went  up t o  Corrina's again.  He said  they went  for a walk  at  the  Light  House.

Saturday and Visiting Mimi

 So  the  memorial  is NOT today so I text Mimi early and see if we can go see her  and  the  baby.  I loaded up the van  with  all the stuff I got for her and we left at about 8 30 to drive down to San Juan Capistrano.   She   has  a condo there

Cade is a  real cutie and was asleep the whole time.  Jay was not there and Violet was asleep, so we left  about 11 30 and KR  made it t  FM and we got a whole bunch of broccoli and some strawberries.  He took a nap and I went riding 9 miles

Kurt was at work and  then napped and went up to Corrina's again.  Some birthday party.

James  was in Malibu and then West  Los Angeles and did not  come back for dinner so we went to Black Bear Diner and it was delicious, as usual. 

Kurt did not go to Corrina but went to some birthday party nearby but was not home too early.   

I GOT 10 HOURS OF SLEEP  LAST NIGHT

Friday and it is EASY

 KR 'woke' me up  at 7.   I  had a headache and just  wanted to sleep in,  but I  woke up

We walked Angel to the park.  She  chased  a few S-things.   Kurt  went to work.  KR went to Costco  and spent 106 bucks.  He then delivered food to Kurt and took  a nap.  I  deposited my paycheck from Camilla and did a bunch  of paperwork.

James and Emma come back from Down South,  they were  in  Dana  Point I think

James takes  Emma to get  her  hair  colored  and bought  steaks and he grills them and  we have dinner  of  steak and salad and some rock cod.   

Then Jon  Liu came to visit and  brought loquats  and  I didn't get to bed  until late  9 50 pm and woke up  at 6 25 am Saturday

Kurt went up  to Corrina's  after  his  nap

Thursday and it drizzled a bit

 I didn't have work because of PTN but I did see Grace McKenna at the office at noon

KR and  I walked Angel to the  park early.  Kurt did not have work, and he went up to  Corrina early.  Early meaning he was gone when we got home and I forgot he  didn't work and I  text him to  see if he wanted lunch.

Doug  came by with a tuna head and two rock cod.  We gave the  head to  Grace and one of the  cod  to Sarah.

After work, KR and I went to  Fire Road and the sun came out for  a  little bit.  

KR  also had a safety training at church with an Ex seal about Active Shooter drill  Mostly  about situational awareness and  all that.  

Kurt went out to dinner with Corrina and  Tyler.  
I was in bed by 9 15

Wednesday and they come home

 So I guess  the  good  thing about Tyler blowing  ist hat  they got  to  climb Palm Canyon

I was up and did all the chores, chickens and  cats and dog.  BunBun misses Kurt for sure.  Looking for  him  and  all  

I did a load of laundry and it was gray and cold all day    Suppose to be gray and cold all week

Kurt  and  KR got  up early and went  shooting,  and t hen  drove home.  

I w ent biking about  noon for 6.7 miles.  Angel is getting better  about being at  home  by herself.

I  also  went to  work about 1.  I  saw Carole,  and Stephen and then  Chelsea.  I  had forgotten that our  neighbor Karen Yu was  coming at  2 30  I  a m glad I didn't  leave early

So  I was  pretty tired when I got home.  Sarah had made us some noodle dish and it was great for dinner

Kurt went to work and worked from 4 - 11  I was in bed  of  course

Tuesday and Tyler's BIG BLOW UP

 I was up pretty early but James was up before I was up. Oh James took Angel to the park for a short walk, and then I brought them to enterprise car rental on Hawthorne Boulevard to get a car. Emma wanted something big so she got in Cadillac Escalade.

We got home and then they packed up and drove off to Arcadia first and then they were going to spend the night at the Disneyland hotel.

I did a load of laundry, but the weather today was all overcast all day. The chickens are OK, even Buffy is walking around and walking and eating.

I got a text this morning after day walk through the slot that Tyler had a blowup and was packing up to go back home. I cannot believe that boy does not have any manner and does not appreciate anything that we have done for him. The story is supposedly, that Toby pooped on the side of the trail and KR asked Tyler to either pick up the poop or cover it up with some sand. Well, that's just through Tyler over. Tyler did not want to do either one and told dad not to tell him what to do. He kept saying we are always telling him what to do and he was having none of it.

So I waited for him to arrive here to pick up all his stuff.  Well,  he and I got into it and he said that I am always trying to control him and he has had enough of us. I think we really should write him out of the will, if he's gonna continue to behave like this. He says he's been living on his own, but, he is always asking for monetary help.

I did a short bike ride and came home. I had to go see Paula at the office at 4 o'clock so I went to work. I also watch the webinar on how to take a better dental impression online at 5 PM. I ran the dishwasher, washed my hair, and went to bed.

Sometimes I wish I could tell Tyler the truth, that no one really likes having him around. He said that we should have invited him to Will's wedding, but I told him that it's not our place to invite him. Will also said to us he didn't want to invite Tyler because Tyler has too much drama. I wish someone would tell Tyler that to his face so that it's not just us, telling him that he is so volatile.

Monday and the BOYS are off

 So Care got up early this morning to go get gas. He did not join the Monday morning group on zoom. About 9 o'clock Tyler came over with Toby, and everybody packed up and got on the way. Last night Tyler had put some of the stuff in the garage and some of the stuff inside the condo.

So I put it around the house and then waiting for James and Emma to show up.  I went for a run of 3.55 miles, add 11 minute 12 second pace. They were landing about 1230 and they took a taxi to get here. James took Angel to the park for a short walk, and we went to the cheesecake factory for dinner. It was way too much food. I had shrimp with angel hair pasta, James had chicken, and Emma had some kind of salmon.

I was pretty tired and we all went to bed pretty early. KR said that they went out for lunch and arrived at the hotel and went Swimming end it was very hot. Curt got the bed on the floor and he said he will get the bed the next day. Little did he know what was going to happen the next day.

SUNDAY Saugas and CicLavia

 So  KR  was up at middle of  the  night  to  figure out the gun(s) he is  taking today.  He was so   excited he  cannot  sleep.   I was up about  6  30 and he  got  ready and  left about 7 15  for  the   hour and 8 minute drive.

Kurt was asleep and he got up by the time I left for CicLavia  It started at the same place as last time, 103rd street and Wilmington.  I took Angel with me, with her wearing red, white and blue leis around her neck

We walked the two miles.  It was only one mile each way so I didn't ride.    She had a great time sniffing so many sites. We drove home and I watched the sermon from church  

Kurt and Corrina went to see the Armed Forces display and then to Madrona Marsh.  

Tyler is suppose to text me regarding his ETA. It is 2:35 and he has not texted yet.  Then later he says that he got a nail  in his tire and he had to fix it and he would be here maybe 9 pm

I stopped at the Kaplans and had a little brisket.  Saw all the  kids except Harry.    

Stopped at Sarah's.  She made Korean  BBQ and said h er kids won't eat i t.  Man they spoiled

Saturday

 Kurt had work, but he went straight  down to the smoke shop from Corrina's.  He spent the   night there.

KR had class in  Lomita, for Conceal and Carry so he  left  by 9  30.  He also got me a bag  of  chicken food.

I stayed home and cleaned the graduation stuff, and fed Buffy.  She is still alive and is now walking a little.  

The last vacuum roller came along  with  James' stuff.  He  bought  more vitamins.

I went to the FM and got some lettuce for the girls.

I made for KR and he came home and ate and went back to Lomita class

Kurt came home and went to bed, saying he was really tired.

KR  didn't  get out of  the  class until 7 30 and I  made him a big salad dinner  and  he  got  his  gun stuff ready and we went to bed at 9  30

GRADUATION

 Today IS THE  DAY

After EIGHT long years, Kurt is finally graduating.

KR took Angel to the beach and I went to work.  First  was  Guillermo,  then  it  was Don, Mable's son, then it was Stephen, who needed  FOUR quad S/RP

I had KR bring  the restaurant decorations to El Torito after he walked  Angel so that Corrina can go and decorate.  It  was really cute.  I  borrowed a bunch of stuff from  a member on BNT  and  one  said GRAD that  stands  on the  table top.  We had a delicious lunch of enchilada, chili relleno, tacos and all kinds of  food.  The all went home  and I went back to work.  

I was suppose to do  a crown on Doug, #29, as he  says   is kind of hurting  him.  I could not get it to hurt and while I was checking all t he other crowns, PLINK, #18 flies off and the  odor of decay....   so I did crown 18 instead. 

Came home and Kurt was STILL working on his school work to be turned in.  He finally got it done and then rushed to get dressed and left for Dignity Health Stadium, which used to be Home Depot Stadium, just  off of Avalon and Victoria.

Corrina and Helen came by and we left maybe around 5.  I actually used Mom's handicap card and parked really close.  I didn't want to walk far.  It  was  NOT  the main stadium but the  tennis  stadium.  I  have never been  here before and we had a pretty good  seat.

The   mascot  came out first and was throwing free  T  shirts to get everyone  excited.  Then  right  on  time, the  ceremony started.   Since I  really don't remember  any graduation,  it was interesting.  First the HOT shots, go  on s tage,   then  the graduates came out.   There  were  several  hundreds.  Not that  many.   Then speeches,  then they pronounce EVERYONE's name on stage.  Kurt was almost hear the back and we got some good pics and all  

We drove home and Kurt beat us home.  Helen went home and Kurt changed and went up to Corrina's  for a party.  They  had invited several people,  and Bobby and Amanda and Taylor all came and  Kurt said it was a nice party.  He had a GREAT TIME

We were asleep, as I  was very  tired. 

Working BUT NOT working Thursday

 The office went to CDA convention in Anaheim so I had the day off,  I needed to get the graduation stuff ready.   We wrote YEA Kurtis on one of the banners, and made the lawn signs.

KR spent several hours fixing the vacuums.  We now have THREE Dyson DC24.  I had to buy two new rollers and two end caps.  Well, James bought them on Amazon and had them shipped here.  There was so  much junk in the hoses of the vacuum.  People just throw away things when it is dirty.   However they did burn out  the roller and  the  end cap  so I got  new ones

In the afternoon, we all took a nap and  then it was dinner with the Gooch, Francis and Ackerman at Brew Hall.  It must be Carole's favorite place.

I  also realized that I scheduled patients for Friday  when  we are  suppose to having  our  luncheon.   So I  had to reschedule Chelsea and Paula and Carole.

We left first because the noise at the Brew Hall from Lakers Game was so loud  and I w as  really  dizzy

Even More Quiet Wednesday

We went down to  the beach in the morning  for Angel.  People must see us  walking the dog so often, and we think there are other couples down there that are older and we are going to become them

The computer is still making double strike spaces, driving me nuts.  

For lunch, I made a stirfry with the leftover fried chicken. Kurt did not have school so he was up pretty late. He went up to Corrina's to do his take-home final and came home for a nap before his afternoon work. Care also took a nap. I tried, but I could not sleep. We took Angel up to the fire road for a walk in the afternoon.

I picked up the two 18" x 24" banner that I had made for Kurtis's graduation. And they turned out really nice.. I am going to have to figure out how to get them to be a lawn sign. I showed Carina a picture and told her not to tell Kurtis.

Call KR also sent Will a text asking him to call us so we could talk about whatever it is that is bothering him. Diamond had called yesterday saying they needed some money, and I lit into them saying that they never say hi to us except to ask for money. She said I was right that Will should have contacted me on Mother's Day, but he didn't wanna be bothered.

I cooked a T-bone steak for dinner with some rice. The steak was kind of tough.

I am still on the same medication .5 mg of Klonopin, 10 mg of amitriptyline, and the dizziness is really bothering me. There is nothing I could do, so I just keep praying.

VERY slow Tuesday

 KR had  bible  study at church and I was lazy  in getting up

We walked  Angel at  the beach.  It was cold

Buffy is still with us  but she  won't eat  today and i  gave her some  liquid  through a  syringe and  tried to give her some  food.  But she is not moving much.   Maybe  not  much longer to  go

KR went to FM  and  got a  LOT of  berries.  I made some smoothies and he ate some and we froze some.

Kurt was home all  day.  Doing what I  don't know.  I did get gas for him and made him a graduation  sign and that his present was  the  70 plus  dollars of gas

I took a  nap  then w ent to  Fire Road.  I  tried to  do a hand stand and KR dropped me on my head.  My arms are not  as strong  as they used to be.  I need to work on  that

I attended a meeting via  zoom about the Torrance Police Department

Gray and Slow Monday

 This morning I saw one of the blue birds fly away, and after KR's zoom meeting, he went up there to  look and they all flew away.  Maybe that is why papa knew not to feed them anymore.   They are big enough to feed themselves.

Hopefully they will come back and and make another clutch

We went to the beach after Zoom and it was gray and dark.  A pod of dolphins was playing in the surf.

KR  drank  FOUR beers  and did a lot of yard  work.  I went to the bank and paid James' Prime bill and forgot to get  the two dollar bills.  I  then  w ent for ar ide a nd forgot to go to Wells Fargo to get some two dollar  bills.  

Kurt had ONE final and came home  and  had some fried chicken I bought and went to nap

KR napped a LONG time

Well, animals come and animals go.  Blue birds flew away and maybe no more Buffy tomorrow.  

God is good and I shall trust

MOTHER'S DAY Sunday 5/14/2023

 Well, Kurt  got me yard  flowers with the  fish  f or  my chickens.

Tyler text  me  and tried to call  once but  never called back a nd  did not leave message

Will could  NOT be a bothered  to  call nor text

We walked  Angel  down at  the beach then it was church

I w as pretty dizzy and still  on the same meds.  1/2 klonipin and amitryptyline

I took a  nap  and we realized the blue  bird  mom has  not been around and dad  is not  feeding them  enough so  KR  got  the ladder up and a bunch of  worms and  w ere feeding them.  I  got  up there  and fed them some  but I  am  short so hard to do

We all w ent  for a Mother's  Day hike.  Kurt invited us,  Corrina and  Helen  and a bunch  of  their friends  and moms up the Fire Trail

We  were  in bed  late,  9  30

May 13, Saturday

 We went  down tot he beach to walk  Angel.  It was overcast and cold

Sarah cooked some pad  Thai for us last night and we had some for dinner last night and I added some asparagus and eggs and that was our breakfast after our walk.  Kurt went to work. 

The BLUEbird babies are sitting at the  hole of the box now.   At least the largest one is.  Mom and dad don't seem to come so  often to feed them I had a nap when KR had a nap too.

Not much to get at FM just some blue berries.   I cooked some more bacon.  All of the last flat I cooked got eaten 

My Lovely shower curtain came and I took the old one down  to wash

We had  left over dinner,  ribs I cooked  and   went  to bed  by 9

EASY FRIDAY

 I  love the day after I  work at  the clinic especially if I don't have to work on Friday and  today  is one  of  those  days.

JUST  DO NOTHING

Well, not just do nothing, there is always something to do  

I had  8.5 hours of sleep last night.   Went to bed at 8 50  and  woke up  at 6 50 and was awake for an  hour a half.   Always amaze me that Ia  m awake that long  during the nights.  I guess I  go to pee several times and stays awake a little after I come back to  bed.

I MUST CLEAN MY  DESK

We went  to the  beach  to  walk  Angel  in t he morning   at  8  30

Kurt  was working  on  his  paper  all day.   He  had   class via   zoom I  think

He got it finished KR  says

I went for a bike ride to pick up some baby shoes for Mimi.  3.15 miles

I went fora   run  my watch  s ays for 3.42 miles but   I don't think so.  I think  maybe  I walked and run a bit as it was 14  minute per mile

We also went to the Fire Road to walk Angel

We had left over for  dinner

WORK day Thursday

 I am usually able to get up before the alarm on work day because I go to sleep early and today was no exception. I was up at 5:50 AM. However, I was late to work by almost 10 minutes. I tried to sign onto the platform called Libby which is for listening to books on tape.  I but I could not get the input of my library card and the pin number to match. I finally gave up and went to work.  

Work was pretty slow. But that's OK. I did get Libby to start working.  I KR was home and he took Angel for a walk on the fire road, and found that someone had ripped the head of the poppy flower that he planted. He was really sad about that. I am too. Why would someone take somebody else's flower?

I stopped at El super to buy some groceries. Kurt was home working on his essay.  I bought them some tamales is some steaks. KR went to the meeting at Valor school.  I went to pick up couple of tomato plants by Charity's house.  KR did not get home until almost 4 o'clock. I cooked some bacon and asparagus. He had tamales and asparagus for dinner.

Our Palm Springs Trip

 So yesterday was Tuesday, and after KR's Bible study in which he was teaching, we packed up and left for Palm Springs. It was a very nice drive. Traffic was not bad. We wanted to find a place for lunch, and thought about the place that Bill Wickwire really likes call Al Marisol, but it was closed on Tuesday. So we ended up going to Lulu's café on the main drag. 

And after lunch we went to the hotel Rowan. We are using the voucher we got at the SBCHC fundraiser several months ago the hotel is in the middle of town. It is a seven story high-rise in a very nice place. The lowest room goes for over $350. We have a room number 364 overlooking the city of Palm Springs.

We were able to check in early. We put our bathing suits on and went up to the rooftop pool. It was very nice. We took several swims and several little naps. We were trying to figure out where to go for dinner, and ended up at Sherman's bakery and delicatessen. It was absolutely amazing. The desert showcase was so marvelous that I wanted to buy a piece of everything. I ended up getting a lemon bar and KR gotApple Studel To Go.

We came back to the hotel and went to bed pretty quick after reading a little bit of the Bible.

Wednesday

The hotel had coffee from 630 to 10 so we were up and got some coffee. The tram does not start running until 10 AM so KR thought we should go to the Taquiz Canyon interpretive Center. We went and the hike was only a mile long but it would take us too long and besides we were not sure how our knees and hips would hold up for the hike later.

We drove up to the tramway and parked her car. We got our tickets by attorney in our vouchers. We got on the first tram at 10 AM. Outside on the balcony we ate a little bit of our leftover before our hike to Round Valley.   The beginning was pretty easy, and then there was a lot of snow on the ground. I hiked with tennis shoes and KR had hiking boots. I should've worn some kind of hiking boots. There was a lot of slipping and sliding all around. According to my watch, we hiked 8 miles in four hours. I was exhausted. After the hike we got on the tram and came back down. We drove home and arrived by about 6 PM.

Kurt had taken care of the dog yesterday and this morning he went to school, Corrina came by and walked Angel. Kurt went to work at 4 PM and since we were home by six Angel was not home too long by herself. We clean up the car and I took a shower and went to bed. I have to work tomorrow early. Darn!!!!

Monday 5/8/2023

 Mondays when Andrea  and Maribel  comes  is  always  easy

KR had Monday morning Zoom and I cleaned before they came.  They were a bit  late arriving about 9  20 and we took Angel to Fire Road to walk and to look at the poppy.   It was always ready to bloom,  KR brought a bottle of water and watered it.  When we were coming down it was almost opened.  

We stopped at Einstein Bagels and I got a cup of coffee for the homeless guy that was outside Chase.  He didn't want a bagel.  He didn't have many teeth.  He did want money and we did not give to him. 

I  actually napped for an hour and 40 min.  I just laid down and was fast asleep.  KR had lunch and napped too.  Kurt had school and then came home and said no Babb today and napped

We went back up to Fire Road and the poppy is beautiful.  We had very light dinner and went to bed.  

KR also got his talk ready for tomorrow Bible Study.  He is leading. 

Sunday

 It  was church day

We took Angel up the Fire Road.  KR wanted to see the  mountains of snow but the haze was too much. 

Kurt was up at Corrina's to watch her get her black belt or something.  He came home late

We came home and Sarah made this great soup and fried rice.  

KR and Reggie fixed the garage door.  The bolts had  pulled out of the pulley.

Kurt slept most of the afternoon.

I biked 3.75 miles

I ran5K at 12 19 pace  VERY SLOW

We were in bed by 9

SO MUCH work Saturday MMA at Beacon Light

 So it is Saturday, May 6, 2023 and it is a workday at Beacon Light mission in Wilmington.  We were told to be there by 8 AM and we took the dog with us. We parked in the parking lot across from the back alley. The trailer was actually set up inside the mission instead of in the alley like before. Everything was a mess, and we had a hard time finding all the stuff. Catherine was there and she was of course very helpful. Jeff was also there and we all forgot to charge the Nomad X-ray unit before we started so after we had patients we had to wait until the battery pack was charged.

So we  took  turns petting Angel.  She was brought into  the  compound  while  we  were  working.  Jeff did  the triage and KR and I and Linda Hu and Sheryl the hygienist worked.  There was only one chair inside the trailer and three chairs setup outside.    

KR had Damian the Loma Linda dental student as assistant.  He  left KR three times,  KR said, instead of  assisting he just went away when he thought something else needed to be done.  KR also had a heck of a  time taking teeth out.  The  suction  was  not  strong, and the hand pieces  would not  work right and  his  light was  fading.  He was frustrated.

I  only took out  one tooth, on Paul, the guy from Harbor Rock.  I took a bunch of x rays that turned out pretty good.  Jeff left at noon to go to a wedding.

We left by 2 30 and  after  dropping   KR  off, I  went  tot he Kaplan's. They had a cookout and only Sumi and Bruce  were l eft  by the time I got t here after three.  Neil and Adele were leaving for Julie's  graduation so they  gave me a LOT of food.  

I came home and only did a bit of the floor exercises and was in bed by  8 24  

I slept for  8  3/4 hours  !!!!!

Friday and a slow work day CINCO De Mayo

 I WAS  suppose to have a FULL day of work today, 9 - 3 heavy duty, prep and fillings and all  but  it all  fell apart  Which  is ok by me

I was at the office at 9 but Don didn't show up  until 9 30 with Mable.  I did her exam and his exam and I  cleaned her teeth  and we  decided not to do the crown on her  implant but a locator

I came home for a few hours and then went back to  work to see Forrest.  His fillings were too high,  after I filled them.   Took a lot to get the fillings down

I came home and went for a ride.  Not  much to see in the alley.  I picked up the insulin needles.

I got a nice body pillow yesterday and I washed and dried i  and  t is very nice

We went out to Black Bear Diner but they ran out of prime rib.  I had fried fish and fried shrimp

Thursday WORK DAY

 Well, if it is Thursday then it must be a workday. I had set my alarm clock for 6 AM, but of course as usual I woke up about 10 minutes before the alarm went off. I got ready for work and it was still drizzling a little bit. The schedule was pretty late at work today. Jeffrey Campos canceled again. So did his little brother Alexis. I think this is the third time they've done that. I wonder if the office is going to continue to see them.

My last patient was the one I rescheduled from last week. I tried taking out tooth #A but he would not let me. So today he seemed more cooperative. We put the gas on and numbed him up, and he started whining and complaining and crying.  His mother was in the room and he was just not having it. I managed to take out #A, and started on the left side trying to do a filling on #J. Well he started more crying and more complaining and I just about had it with this kid. I kept telling him I am not going to take another tooth out and he says that I am going to call me a liar.   

And he started screaming and screaming and I finally had them I finally got the filling finished and he left. I told Tracy not to schedule him with me ever again.

I came home and KR was just starting to take a nap.  And I went for a 5K run is so very very slow.  I then rode my bike to Maria's place to get some parsley and cabbage.

We did some reading and Curt went to pick up Carina's mom from the airport. Curt is spelled KURT

Wednesday 5/3/2023

 Well if it is Wednesday it must mean Office meeting. I got there at 9 o'clock and it was kind of strange not to see Yvonne.  We talked about Melissa's new responsibilities. Maribel also mentioned that the compressor was spewing all kinds of oil. We got done about 10:45 AM. The doctors had a meeting about the x-rays and I felt we were not taking enough anterior PA's.  

After the office meeting, I thought, I haven't seen Diane Krieger for so long, I should go visit her. So I drove out to her house without really knowing where the address was and she was home. We had a very nice visit. It has been way too long. Next time I'll bring her some eggs. We also thought about having lunch once a month on a Wednesday when I have an office meeting.

So instead of coming home after visiting Diane, I went to see Adele. Diane had given me some interesting stuff that she had cooked and I gave a piece to Adele. Adele also made some brownies, and they were very good. I came home, and of course KR was asleep.  He had two beers the last two, thank goodness, and I went out for a ride in the alley. I found this cycling thing for under the desk.

And Kurt was home and he was of course napping. He had brought the cap and gown for graduation home. I guess that means he is really graduating. He went to work at 4 o'clock.  KR had mowed the  lawn very nicely today,  after nap he planted the new nectarine tree.

We took Angel for a walk to the park.  KR had dinner and I really didn't eat anything. I wasn't very hungry. Today is dizziness is so about the same. I am tired of being dizzy. I still take .5 mg of Klonopin and 10 mg of amitriptyline. It has been three complete ones already since the vertigo started back. I don't see it changing much yet. I still sway and when I change direction it gets pretty dizzy

I took a shower at 7:45 and went to bed pretty early

Tuesday FM and Bible Study

 KR got up really early for his church Bible study. I was up pretty early too. I had a nightmare about doing a root canal on somebody with a tooth out of the mouth and I was making a mess of it.

We went to the fire Road to walk Angel. I thought since it was Tuesday we should go get tacos somewhere for lunch. We have decided on El Tarasco in Redondo Beach for taco Tuesday. The tacos were great.  Kurt had a few too.

KR went back to Costco and bought a nectarine tree.   Hmmmmm  we are running out of room in the yard to plant any more trees. He went to the farmers market and we got a lot of red onions that I gave away. 

JR took a nap and I went for a ride I found a Dyson vacuum cleaner plus a fan that oscillates. The vacuum has a little issue that I'm going to try to fix

Bible Study was nice  with just the seven of us.  Geralyn said they  could not come 

Monday

 So we were up early of course KR on Monday had his Monday morning prayer group.  I did a load of laundry.  Afterwards we took Angel down to the beach for a walk it was cold and windy.

I Kurt went to school and KR went to are Costco to buy a few things. I put around the house In the afternoon I actually took a nap.  So did KR

I went for a ride through the alleys. I found a really nice dog food container that I posted on BNT. We had a sandwich for lunch and I made a really nice salad for dinner

After dinner we went to New Horizon to play ping-pong and then sat in the Jacuzzi. I read some more ping-pong is supposed to help with my dizziness, but it didn't seem to have done anything. But the Jacuzzi always feels nice.
