KR was up way early, and I slept in until abouot 6 30
We went to t he park. I t was HOT today. High was 85 and lowo 64
KR did the weed whacking and then took a nap I w ent to the pool and did an hour of walk about and then laid out fooor a bit. Got kind of dark
James and Emma came back, I t ried to nap. NO GO
We picked up John Crookston and all went out too Blue Water Grill foro dinner.
So I guess it is HOT today, of 84, tomorrow is suppose to be 85 then cooling to 81
KR went to Bible Study and I w as up and out the door running about 3 miles. I wanted to see how much I can g et down in weigh. HAHAHA
I woke up at 106.8 and after the run and a poop, was down to 106.4 A new record
KR came home and he went to Bolsa Chica with Phil Treager to paddle board. I was home alone. Kurt went to work at 8 35 and it was a nice day to be home. I did the laundry and cleanedu p and did some sudoku.
KR came home after lunch and took a nap. I went for a ride, didn't see anything.
Kurt came home and took a short nap. He is getting used to working the 40 hour week. Although he says he has an hour for lunch tomorrow and Corrina is coming down to e at with him so I don't need to make a lunch.
I went to FM alone and got a LOT of brussel sprouts and I c ooked some. It was too much work to clean them all. I put some in t he green can
So we were up NOT too early, for mel ike 6:15. Last night at the mall there were hundreds maybe thousands of kids fighting after the movie theatre offered four dollar tickets. And then a bout 11 pm Angel woke up barking, there were some folks talking and driving in the parking lot of the Y and she was bothered by them. I finally fell asleep.
I had PT at 7 and KR had Zoom with the Monday morning boys. I cleaned up a lot and then Andrea and Maribel came to clean. We took Angel to the access road for a walk and it was hot. Today high temp was 85 and tomorrow is going to be 84. Then KR drained all the water barrels and watered the plants and pruned a little of the sapote tree.
Kurt went to work
We both took a nap and then went to the pool and jacuzzi. It was very nice.
Kurt then said that Fera asked him to work in Manhattan and he went from 5-9
I cooked the rest of the fish and I like the belly meat VERY MUCH. KR had left over Korean BBQ for lunch and fish for dinner.
We were up early a nd walked Angel at the beach
We all went to church, and the speaker was Jason Gallegher
I went tot he pool and had a 30 min walk in t he pool and then tried to s leep for a bit., I think I did and came home.
We went on a walk to Fire Trail.
KR got in a really weird mood and w ouldn ot talk to me, and saying that there was nothing wrong and he was not mad. I don'tl ike it when h e gives me the silent treatment.
He went to the pool and jacuzzi and I went to visit Adele
I cooked the fish and the risotto and salad and we had dinner

It was really foggy last night and KR was snoring loudly for a bit so I could not get back to sleep after I peed. Was 107.3 lb this morning. hmmmm I slept for almost 8 hours. Went to bed at 9:10 and up at 6:19
Angel also got a SQUIRREL, but I threw it on top of the container before she ate any part of it.
I could not sleep in. Woke up at 5 and got out of bed by 5 45.
We took Angel with James and Emma to the access road. The dirt was very nice. Slightly damp and not sandy at all. Then they packed up and went down to San Clemente first and then San Diego. Emma has never been there and they were going to be tourists.
Kurt went to work
I went for a 7.66 mile ride and found some clothes. KR took a nap of course.

So it is 6 45 am with Melissa and Dr Amer from Western.
Jose Ramos, Maribel's friend broke off B portion of the crown on 18, he had RCT through access so only the lingual is still there. His blood pressure was sky high and I didn't have to use anesthesia so I prepped and took impression and made a SSC temp and sent him home. James came in and we took X rays and he did NOT need RCT and I did a large MOL on #17. And boy did he need a cleaning. I did that too.
KR came in and did RCT on a patient on #30. My last five patioents, all of one family did not show so I left about 11 30. Went for a 5.87 mile bike ride at 12:30.
I had PT at 4 and they took Angel out for a walk.
James and Emma were out and about and bought Wagu beef and cooked at least 150 bucks worth of beef for dinner. It was so so good, but too too expensive for my taste.
Kurt worked all day and did not stay up too late. KR says Corrina came over, I didn't know as I was asleep.
I was in bed by 8:45
James and KR went to fire road with Angel Emma was asleep and I stayed home.
James went to Valor as it was the first day and they wanted the Board members to come to welcome all the children.
I went to the bank and paid James' Prime bill then took them to Enterprise Car rental and they went somewhere with their rental car.
Then I went to AAA to get the license plates of the van and the Accord, but I had to come back home to get the plates. I went back to AAA and got the plates switched.
I also went to Home Depot to get fly trappers.
KR went on a bike ride with Phil Traeger and came back for a quick nap and then went to pizza dinner at Doug's house.
James and Emma went to Cheesecake Factory and ate too much. I had cat fish leftover.
Kurt worked all day and went for a jacuzzi at Corrina's
So it is not too good sleep l ately. I cannot fall back asleep once I wake in t he night.
KR had his bible study and I was up before 6. I went for a short 3 mile run but had to walk half of the time. My hip was sore. We went to the park and there was NO new limbs that came down off of the big trees.
KR went too FM and got a LOT of cantaloupe and we gave some away to Kristine, and some to Patty and cut up a lot. I must have eaten two or three today
I had too go to the office to deliver Maribel's grandma's crown. Then I stopped at Ralphs and bought juice ON SALE, Boathouse Immunity. Just what KR wanted. I had an appt with Chris Bruno and he really worked me. James and Emma finally came in about 6 20 and we left for Riviera Mexican as that is what James wanted to eat.
Kurt worked all day and did not go out with us said he was TOO TIRED.
We got him left over and we were in bed by 9

I had a hard time sleeping last night. I got up several times and checked on the rain and the wind, and all was ok, but my watch says the sleep was really poor. I finally got up before KR about 5 45 AM.
I went to PT at 7 ridinig my bike but the whole building was without power so I came home after seeing one of the therapist who was sitting in the lobby trying to figure out what to do .
KR had zoom with his group. We went to the beach to walk Angel and the sun started coming out.
It was more of a day of cleaning for me. KR went to Costco for coffee and to Einstein for bagels. The phone case I bought for Rebekah finally came in., But she is not working in Torrance this week.
Kurt had his FIRST day of work, and it was 9 - 3:30 and he said it was tiring. I made him a turkey sandwich with chips and drink. He came home and took a nap and KR made taco salad for dinner while I made burgers for lunch. I took a nap too before we went to the golf course for Angels walk. It was so beautiful, the grass was so green and no one was around. The course was closed because of the heavy rain yesterday.
I went to bed by 9
So we were up early and KR got gas and we took Angel to the park before the rain started. Another limb of a tree came down. I sent another email to the city. We all went to church. KR had usher duty and CICLAVIA WAS CANCELED due tot he rain.
We came home and had lunch and all took a nap. I slept for an hour and 20 min !!!
Kurt went up to Corrina again. We had the Zoom meeting with MMA. We ate left over.
The chickens did NOT like the rain. Blackie and Vulchi were walking around and getting completely soaked after I let them out. Buffy had another seizure like fit again. She just spasms a bit and stretches her neck kind of weird.
We are suppose to have the storm of the year, at least in August.
We went to the beach to walk Angel early. Then it was WORK and work and work around here to batten down the hatches and get ready for many inches of rain they say. We were so dirty. Had a light lunch and KR napped. I biked 8.19 miles around the neighborhood and went to the 99 cent store but there was no phone case to be had. The one I bought for Rebekah has not come yet
KR took Angel to t he Fire Road while I went to the condo to make sure all is well and ready for the rain. Mary is not feeling well, and the blood pressure is up and down and she was waiting for Sean to bring dinner and then she was going to go to bed.
We also went to the jacuzzi for a bit of soak. Mainly to clean up.
I laid down and had a little nap, I think. KR came home and had salad and pollinated some more of the dragon fruit and we went to bed.
We walked Angel to the park and more trees came down.
So today's patients are; Debbie Johnson, Don Winbush, Chris Bruno, Carole Gooch, Chelsea's three kids, Donna Crawford, Kelby Bruno, Kirk Crawford and Quinton Kao.
I was exhausted. Started at 8 45 and got done about 3 15. The crown on Quinton was NOT easy. I will have to deliver first week of September sometime and do a filling too.
KR came in for a scan so he can have a night guard made by Louie. Rebekah is really good at scanning.
I went for a short quick run and we went to the Crookston for dinner. I did three miles at 10 54 per mile. Very slow. It was thick pork chops with salad that KR made and apple pie for dessert plus cheese and crackers and all. She is such a good cook.
And we came back and went to bed but the watch says I only got five hours of sleep
Well, not many of these left. Next month I start Monday afternoons. How things change. My private practice will wind down and the clinic will change hours on me. Things do not stay the same and I am ok with that.
I was in at 6 40 and the new extern is pretty good. I don't have problem with her yet. She seems to catch on to the computer pretty good. We were done about 12 30 and I went to Chavez office. Camila text me a pic that it was Dr Chavez' birthday. They had all kinds of Philipino food and it was so so good. KR had come in for RCT and he went to El Super to buy food. He also went to Costco for the other stuff we needed.
I cooked ribs/vege. Then Sarah called. She cooked CURRY. It was so so good. We finished it all.
I had PT at 4 and KR took Angel for a walk.
We also had the FM cantaloupe that was so good for dinner too.
Still mostly same dizziness and taking .5 klonipin and amitriptyline and spinning a bit.

I was up at 5:45, half hour before KR !!! We walked Angel at the beach. It was a bit foggy and COLD, I had to wear long sweats. KR then trimmed the trees at Mom's and then at the rental house. Kurt had an appt with Robert Babb. I rode the short alley and nothing to be had.
We cleaned up a little of Kurt's room so he would be ready next week for his REAL FULL TIME JOB !!!! We finally got some flowers of the dragon fruit so KR is a bit excited on how to pollinate the flowers so we can get FRUIT
KR had early Bible Study. I cleaned and posted things, like the hot water heater and the fruit dryer. They have been sitting in my cabinet too long.
I went for a 3 mile run. The pace was 10:13. Too slow. Then my hip started hurting. I did a bunch of stretch before and it helped. Then we went to the park with Angel.
KR went to Turners with Jaime and Jaime bought a gun, over a thousand dollars.
We got a lot of corn from FM and the chickens were very happy.
KR had his zoom group with Monday morning group. We went to Fire Trail to walk Angel. That dog ran and had a great time. She ran and had her yaya's out.
I biked to my PT and and did a good work out with Josh this time. Not Justine. The young one and not the old one. After PT I rode around and found some very nice curtains, plus a black curtain rod.
KR took a nap and I took one too, but way later than he. We went to the park for the afternoon walk. I slept for over an hour
I had LONG chats with Evelyn, and Jeff and the clinic on t he 16 September is on at Beacon Light.
I was asleep by 9 20.
So I was up a little after 6 and Kurt had spent the night at Corrina's, must have drank a lot. He sent me a 'drunk snap' as he calls it. It was nice and quiet at home. I liked it. I did the laundry, washing the sheet and blanket Angel peed on.
I took Angel for a walk all around New Horizon. She was willing and sniffed a lot of dogs and seemed a little happier. She still would not walk towards the park though. Just sits and refused to move when w e went that away.
I didn't go to church. Started listening to Branch and found him too boring so I went over to ARMED, which had revamped their whole website. Weather was nice of 73, cooler than yesterday.
I went for a 7.3 mile ride around the neighborhood. Found some nice white curtains and a curtain rod and some tubs which I used for the garage.
Mary came over and borrowed a pan to bake some enchilada.
Kurt finally came home in the afternoon, and then went to work. Said Fera asked him to work from 5- 10.
So I have been trying to see how low I can get on the weigh. Well, this morning, I got up, did not drink anything, and went running for three miles, very slowly, and got down to 106.7. That is the lowest in over thirty five years. The first mile was 10:31 but got slower after that.
Kurt went to work and I went to Camila and gave her some noodles and beans. We don't eat that stuff here. I also met Rebekah and gave her James' old phone. She said her daughter broke her phone and she cannot afford another phone right now.
I went to FM and got a lot of cantaloupe and cut them up and ate a lot of it. I also juiced all t he carrots in the frig. We got a bunch of lettuce too. The girls are happy. Buffy i s still eating and moving. Honey seems to be still broody, and so is yellow feet.
I got Kurt Jack in the box and in exchange he washed Angel. She was a bit dirty.
Kurt went to some bonfire after work.
I took KR early to Enterprise Rental on Hawthorne. He is picking up the van and driving to church to help check in and then drive the kids up to Big Bear. He is gonna be so tired Sunday night.
I came home and went to PT by riding around first, I saw the other guy instead of the usual Justin. I rode by Sarah's house as she wanted me to go see Casa Del Amo apartment with her but I was late coming out of PT so I said we have to reschedule. I don't know what to do with them, Royale is gambling and Sarah is drinking. Something needs to give.
I came home and proceeded to clean and put things away and clean.
I tried taking Angel to the park. SHE WOULD NOT GO. I drove half way to the park and she barely went in and then won't walk again. Finally we got home and I had to run back to pick up the car.
Kurt worked 9 - 4 and stayed in the rest of the night.
I was late to Chris Bruno appt and then during the heat and stim, I fell asleep and he let me sleep a bit. I disengaged myself and came home. It was a good nap.
There seems to be so much stuff to do to clean
I got 7 hours of sleep which is not enough.
So my 7 am canceled so I got there about 7:45, instead of 6:45. Tracy asked me to work on Robin, and I did her fillings and some SDF. She is our volunteer that got into hygiene school and is starting in a few weeks at West LA.
It got busier and busier, and then Patterson came and installed a new LED light. With the drilling of the light and this kid screaming, I was so so dizzy. Drove me nuts. This 2 year old screamed throughout the whole appt. I just don't get what the problem is.
I came home, took Angel out to pee, ate a little Brussel Sprouts and went back to Chavez clinic for Faye's crown. She was hard to work on but we did it.
I was home at 3 30 and Sarah came by. Said she was in the hospital for five days and they released her and her stay was for no good reason, and they drained something from her bile or something. I stopped at Adele's house and on the way back home, Royale waylaid me and said that Sarah's drinking has gotten out of hand and that is why she was in the hospital for five days. Said she is drinking again and they are going to do something about it tomorrow. Like an INTERVENTION !!!!!

She didn't say anything to me about that. She just said that Royale has been gambling a lot at the casinos and that she wanted to try a trial separation. So who is telling the truth I have no idea.
Yup, you got that right. Dr Desai forgot that she and her daughter have tickets to see Taylor Swift, so she needed the afternoon off. Really? How do you forget that? So I worked from 2 - 6, or actually 2 - 5:30.
We went to the park early with Angel, and then drove down to Long Beach Memorial for blood draw for t he GRAIL study of cancer gene markers. We didn't k now where to go but Ana F came down and got us. We went to Chase Bank on the way home to get the Lost Property of California form signed and notarized.
Then we stopped at Ralphs and got pastrami and turkey and the boys made some sandwiches. Much cheaper to do that than a stop at fast food.
I tried to take a nap but could not. Went to the phone store by the office and he said that I don't need a new battery yet. Work was busy and I was going to get off early but I did 6 sealants and two fillings on this 16 year old. Had to gas him.
We had left over and went to bed by 9

Corrina came over early as they were taking her cousin to the airport and something about a strike, Helen had to stay at the airport and Corrina had an hour and half to kill so she come over and Kurt cooked eggs.
KR said the procedure was not a big deal and now he has to decide between two procedures, as one he has to wear a 'bag' for 2 - 3 days and the other maybe weeks. I think he is going to go with the short bag procedure but it involves general anesthesia, or deep IV sedation. OH MAN
He went to FM and got A LOT of Brussel sprouts and some tomatoes.
I didn't eat much. Had some eggs, and some bites of the BLT and couple of tomatoes and cukes.
Corrina came back and Kurt she were taking a nap. We went to Fire Road to walk Angel.

I did go for a run but my hip really hurt. I did sleep 8 hours too, so that was good.
I ran 4.88 miles at 13:37 pace. First was 11:15, and then slowed to 15:19. DANG I was slow.
Working with just Melissa kind of mean that I am by myself a lot as there is not enough help. Robin was there in the morning and that was helpful, but the afternoon.
KR forgot to hang the laundry and I did it when I got home. He must have had a good time without me at home

So Mark Paulson's sister and mother both live in Isla Vista. The mom passed away and the sister, Sandra and husband Harry still live there and they were going to be gone for a week and offered for us to stay there. I had to work Friday and then Monday so we decided to leave Saturday morning, August 5, and come back Sunday.
We got going about 7 am, and took the 'new' used Honda Accord. Rides very nice. Angel had the back seat all to herself. We got to Sueno Street and it is a very interesting house. We stayed in the front bedroom. We then decided to drive around UCSB, as neither one of us have seen it before. There are dorms that are OCEANFRONT and out door shower and surf board locks. WOW. A very nice campus.
We had lunch at Von's Korean Chicken. REALLY TASTY. Then we went to the beach for a walk with Angel. Dinner was Japanese food. Very good but expensive. Guess we need to spend more of the kids' inheritance. We were tired and took a shower and read a little and went to bed.
SUNDAY: KR made coffee. We slowly drove out of Santa Barbara. We went to the Missile Park at Pt Mugu, where there are a bunch of old missiles from the navy.
We stopped at Topanga Canyon Beach and I took an hour nap. It was so good. KR surfed with a girls' board and caught some waves. We then stopped at Blue Plate Oysterette and had the TOWER which was very good but expensive. Then we drove t o Culver City and had a In N Out burger.
We were home about 4 30 and Kurt had just gotten home from Helen's. Said something about helping them paint today.
Kurt and KR both took a nap.
I went for a ride and found a little chair and some clothes for Steven.
OH, MiniMoochie the cat we have been feeding is MAMA cat and there are FOUR kittens that need to be trapped and rehomed.
It is Friday but a LONG day of work
I did a load of laundry and KR went surfing. Kurt had work at 9 and Denise came by for a visit. It was good to see her, has been a long time since she came by.
I got to work before 10. Today was a busy day. Started with DiNesha and her son, Xylus, who is now taller than I !!! Then Reza andd Kimel and Joe and Guillermo, Paula and Eddie C. I had almost a whole hour between Paula and Eddie. I just can't stand it that Eddie cannot come earlier than 4 pm.
I was so hungry, came home, KR had taken Angel to the Fire Road, and we went to Black Bear Diner, and Kurt joined us as he went to get LifeScan for his FUTURE work !!! He said Fera offered him 23 dollars an hour. Just to keep him, but why didn't he offer it earlier???

I t old him, no way, as his next job is the path he should be on.
We had a bit of left over. We packed and was ready for the road trip t o Santa Barbara tomorrow.
So Maribel called me and said that Edison told them the paper was going to be off from 8 30 - 3. I said I am willing to w ork 7 - 9 as they are never on time. But she said she didn't want to take the chance that I w ould be drilling and the power be off so I was OFF !!!!!!
KR took Angel the fire road I didn't go. I rode to Walmart to buy cat food.
Then I rode to pick up blood pressure cuff. This funny looking Japanese cuff that looks like the stuff they used to have at the pharmacy. You stick your arm into this large rigid cuff and it pumps up. Works great.
Kurt went to work at 9. I brought him some food before my PT appt at 11. It was suppose to be at 4 but Diane Krieger came by for a visit and I wanted to see her as she had her physical locally at 2. We gave her some plumbs and muffins and it was a nice visit.
KR took Angel to Fire Road and I went running. I did a mile under 10 but the hip was hurting. I cooked ribs and I had a few.
Chuck Berger came by for a chat and he had a nice time hiking in the Sierras
Went to walk Angel to the park, then office meeting. Marc was there. Got out early and I stopped a t El super before heading to the o ffice as Megha said she was running late and tocome a little later.
I also stopped at Dave's Hot chicken to get some chicken for Mable and Don/Nicky. I met them a t Isaac's office. He has a big place and lots of people working there. I introduced them and went home. I had the phone call with Ana Fuentes of Long Beach Memorial, and I answered her questions and set up the appt for blood draw next week.
KR went surfing first and then lunch with the boys; Howard, and Denny. He brought home some left over. L & L BBQ
Kurt had an appt with Robert Babb and then work from 4 - 11
We ate left over and went to bed.

What did we do? I would have swore that I wrote about Tuesday.
KR went to Bible Study and when he came back we went to the park. Then he went surfing? I can't remember.
At 10 40 I went for a bike ride. Looks like I went to In and Out but I did not go get burgers so I don't know what I did
