HALLOWEEN Tuesday, 10/31/2023

It was a WARM day

KR went to bible study and brought back a lot of donuts.  Kurt didn't have work until 12 so he was around.   I did a bike ride and a run.  My hip was bothering me and I had to ice it.   I went to chiro appt at  Dr Wong and he worked on my TMJ, plus my neck.  I stopped at Nina/Deron's and sync the phone with the watch.  He slept over 7 hours.  He didn't want to keep the watch, and I reassured him that if he wants the watch to let me know.  Nina flew home.   

KR went to FM and got a lot of lettuce and some cantaloupe.  Buffy is still with us and eating well.  The  girls are not laying eggs.  Maybe one or 2 per week.  

KR took Angel to Lunada Bay and got some soil  from Jerome.  

The kids started coming about 6 and Mary came over for a look see.  We walked over to Juniper street and there were hundreds of kids.  I even got a can of Coors beer from Kevin.  

We finally turned off the light past 8:30

Monday

 Easy day

KR had his  group and then he went to  his post op appt with the urologist and then  we went  to the  church   service for Barrie Olson's service.  

After that we came home for lunch and took a nap.  KR took Angel to the  fire road and I took a  nap.

I did the  laundry and Kurt went to work at 12.  He isn ot getting enough  hours and he wants a new job.  Told him to look for one before he quits.

Melissa did  not get the CDA job and wanted to borrow some money.  But  I just cannot  loan her any more money  without KR getting  mad.

Sunday and ArroyoFest

 We were up early and  Corrina got here at 7 am.  I was a little late.  Kurt spent the   night a t Bobby's TOO MUCH DRINKING he says.  So he didn't go with us.  We loaded mybike  onto Corrina's and drove to Ave 26 on ramp.  There were so many people.  We didn't know there was a 5k and 10, so there were so many people.  We started on Ave 26 and rode all the  way to the end Glenarm.  7 mniles one way.

It was so so fun to see the fwy heing so so clean and no  cars and we stopped and took photos.  There were thousands of bikes.  We stopped at Los Tres Cochinitos Restaurant off of N Main Street for tacos and burritos and the fixings,  It was amazing.  So many people, not an empty table so we had it to go.  

We came home and ate,.  We all took a nap.  Corrina went home.

We went to Barrie's memorial at the LightHouse on Torrance Blvd.  Then we stopped at Deron's and sync the fitbit watch.  He got 7.5 hours of sleep.  PLENTY.  So he will wear it tonight  and see how he sleeps.

Nina is so relieved that he isi now a believer that he is  sleepingl

We ate some dinner and went to bed.,  Thgere was food at the Lighthouse and I ate too much.

Saturaday

 KR goes to t he  mens breakfasta church and says  onlyabout 12 people showed up.   He brought back  a niice burrito a ndthekids a te it.  Corrina spentt he night and  then went  tow ork.

KR and Iw ent  to the FM  and gota lot of lettuce.   

We took Angel to the   park  and she  chased  some s things.

We got lots of tomatoes and I gave them all away.

We  went to Fire Road for a walk and then had dinner of left over

It was a   nice day.  I also changed the sheets

Friday

 Kurt does not  go to work until 12.  He  is still  coughing.  

We were up and  KR took Angel to Access road.  I went to the Korean Store for some tendon and gum and asparagus.  I also went to the meat store by the Hearing aid place and spent 90 bucks on four small steaks.  KR is going to make fish and asparagus, and I will make the steaks.  I also went to Ralphs to get milk and beer and crackers.  

KR went for a bike ride and I rode around the alleys and got a lot of recycling for NH.  I rode about 7 miles.   

Thursday

 It i s  always  working. Today w as not bad.   I  got there by  6 45.  Maribel w as on vacation.  We had some  no show,  but we had a lot of cleaning to do.  Mary is very nice cleaned under the sink in  the lab.  KR came at 8 15 to do the extraction.  I had  one   whingy  patient.  We were done at 1, and I got home and KR was still up.  He had THREE BEERS  and took a nap.

I rode around and got a pilates ball.   We w ent out to Chart House to listen to a presentation about how to take care of our retirement funds,  Filet mignon beef and potatoes, and salmon w ith  rice, It was very good,  We learned about  FIA  and  made an appt with Brandon  to see  what he  thinks.

We were  in  bed by 9

Wednesday

 A real day for paying bills.

Nina was  here  overnight and she went back to Deron's.  We went for a walk  up fire trail.   KR took the soup over  to Maria and I went to  Ralphs and spent 68  bucks buying all kinds of  stuff.  Kurt went to take the certification test and passed.  He came home and  then went back to work.

I spent several hours  paying bills and  talking to insurance AAA.  We went out to Mexican Riviera with Carole and Mike.  It is  always  nice with them.   Place was busy. 

Tuesday

 Very Busy Day !!!!

KR had his group and I was really tired and could not get up.  I drove over to Freda's and got a bunch of bread that  I gave away.  Some to Martin and some to Kristina  and Some to Jeff when he came over to get the SDF that I could NOT find.  I have to get some from the clinic.

KR went to FM and then cooked the chicken soup for Maria and then to Valor meeting.  He was busy. He and the board had to talk to the husband and wife them that teach there and is having marital problems.  We also had to sign docs for the Kaplans about their will and I also had to go down to Redondo office to get the some sterilizer that they had donated and wanted out of the office.  I also got some parts of the lights that was not working, Midmark something.  I stored all in mom's garage.

I tried to nap, had a headache and then went for a ride headache still on.  We had dinner of chicken soup.  Nina came and spent the night saying that Deron's anxiety was wearing on her and she needed a good nights' rest.

Monday a day of rest

 I could not sleep and was up at 5 am.  KR had his Monday morning group and I did laundry and  cleaned,.  Andrea and Maribel  came and wee took Angel to the beach. It had rained a little but got warm at the beach.

Kurt went to work and wee stopped at the store for bananas and other stuff.  

KR ate and went to  sleep.  I went for a ride but didn't see anything interesting

Nina came over and we went for a walk after KR's nap to the Fire Trail.  Then we went to Chicken Maison for dinner,   Nina is trying to  help  her  brother Deron handle his depression and overall mental illness.

I am tired.  

Our North Carolina Trip

 So no work Thursday.   We flew out  to  North  Carolina.

The flight was at 8 so we left at 6 and Kurt drove the car home from Long Beach Airport.  The flight to  Houston was very full.  I took .5 klonipin and was asleep most of the way.   We were late landing but we ran to the next leg and it has not  even started loading yet.  We arrived at RDU and rode the shuttle  Budget to the rental car.  OH WOW, the line was so so so long.  KR said he heard someone say that if you had the app you can go to the short line.   I added the app and got our car.  It was a Blazer, a mid size SUV even though I asked for a subcompact. We drove out of there and found our hotel, La Quinta, by the airport. It was very nice.  

We had  a turkey and cheese sandwich on the plane so we were not too hungry.   We found a place to eat dinner, Big  Mike's BBQ.  It was GREAT.  The prices were cheaper  Three kinds of  meats and cold slaw, bread and beans.  I think all for 28 bucks.

The next day

FRIDAY  we were up and decided to go to William Umstead Park.  It was very nice.  We hiked almost three miles and saw the beautiful carved logl  We weent to Morgan Food Hall, but found out the Transfer Co Food Hall was suppose to be better so we drove up to the next one.  Then  it was  JC Raulston Arboretum for a nice look see.  We even found the  bee hives.  We stopped at Pullen Park and watched the train go around and the Merry go around.  It was a beautiful park.

Dinner was at Auntie May's house and her house keeper had cooked all the food.  There were so many dishes and we ate a lot.  We departed for Extend Stay America near by and WHAT A MISTAKE.  The  place was like a Motel 6 but worse.  In the Middle of the night, the next door neighbors were yelling and fighting.

SATURDAY  We decided to drive to the coast and started our 2 hour drive.  Stopping in Fayetteville, which was kind of small.  Had a nice sandwich and pecan pie in Wallace at the Burney's Sweets & More.  Then it was off to Wrightsville Beach.  I went for a   1.5 mile run, and KR swam and I slept.

That night we drove to Morrisville and had a fab Chinese dinner at G58 Chinese restaurant.  VERY FANCY.  Possibly the fanciest place in town.  Just us, and the relatives.  David, Anette, the kids Tera and Katherinee with their spouses, and Lulu and Auntie May.  Wow we were so delight to be invited.  The food was so so pretty, good tasting too.

We went back to the La Quinta.  It was more expensive, but worth it.

Sunday wee were up and went to Lake Crabtree in Cary NC.  It was a beautiful park with gazebo and a walk way and we drove around the lake for a look see.  Went back and returned the rental car.   Got t he shuttle to the airport and waited for  our flight.  

I took a little more med but could not sleep.  The flight was VERY f ull and it was very very cold.  I wore the beanie cap and was still cold.

We landed in Las Vegas and our flight was an hour delayed.  The airport is so so noisy and nasty.  We finally got home, Kurt   picked us up.

We were zonked and went to bed.  

Wednesday - the day before our trip

I changed the sheets, and KR took Angel for a walk.  It was a warm day and I tried to get the house in order before we left.  I rode my bike to deliver vegetables to Krista.  She came by yesterday and I forgotten  to put them out.  KR delivered more vegetables to Jennifer Morais off of Madison.  Kurt didn't  have work until 12:30.   

Will  called  me and said  that he went  to work and they told him  that he didn't have work, and if I mind  taking him to the bus stop or take him home.  I rode the bike to the garage and brought the Honda back  and loaded a box of his stuff (something we had saved for him) plus some food and took him home.  I gave him eggs and cereal and other kinds of food.  

KR had gone to try surfing, but it was no good.  We packed our suitcases and got ready.  KR took Angel again  and I stayed home.  I made good chicken soup with rice for lunch.  I checked in for  our  flight tomorrow. 

Bible Study Tuesday

 KR was up early, not me.  He had bible study  at church and  I didn't get up until past 6.  I  went to the office toget my night  guard case from New West, but it was not there.  What was in the package was the boxes and packeting material.  I called them a nd  Michelle  said that they would  send out ASAP, liike  should arrive by Tomorrow.  Should have arrived Monday but somehow was not sent out.

KR walked Angel and I vacuumed the garage and cleaned the house. KR went to FM and got lot of squash and tomatoes and bell peppers and I gave them  ALL AWAY, with the bags that Charity brought over. Thank goodness for those bags.  

Kurt didn't have work  until 11.  KR t ook a nap and I went on a 11 mile bike ride, getting some tasty  cereal straws and dropping off  vege   

I had chiro and then acupuncture and then Bible Study.   Mike,  George, Me,. KR  and Karl and Geralynn. Anita and Karen and Pam didn't  come.  It was a good study.  George brought cheese  and crackers and fruit and cookies.  What a man

Monday

 What a nice  easy day, kind of.

KR had Monday morning group and I started cleaning and laundry.   Kurt had 8 am work and he was so so tired.  Went to some birthday party and brought back TWO WHOLE TUBS of Panda Express shrimp and some egg rolls and vege plate.   I made him a nice turkey sandwich and off he went.  KR took Angel to  the beach and I just cleaned and cleaned.  

I took stuff to the garage and brought the vacuum back.  One of they Dyson here is not picking up anything so I brought the Hoover back.  I vacuumed downstairs and upstairs.  KR did the compost watering.  I went for a ride, about 7 miles only.    

SUNDAY Ciclavia Downtown Heart of LA

 We were  up early and KR took Angel for a  walk while I tried  to wake up.

Corrina came about 8 45  and we w ere finally on our  way by 9 20.  We parked by Figueroa and Venice,  just  at the  beginning  of  the ride.  The total mile today is suppose to be 15  and the temp was about 90

Kurt drove and KR drove.  It  was a very nice day and HOT. The theme  was HAWAIIAN  and we all wore leis  and  flowers in   our  hair(girls).  We had street tacos and  man my stomach was  aching about half hour after.I pooped at  a  HUB and f elt better. Almost  felt like upchucking.  We all went down for a nap but I could not sleep.  

We had very little food  for  dinner and Kurt went out for a little while he says, and we were in bed before 8

Saturday 10/14/2023

 We drove to drop off some electronic recycling  at the  Torrance City Hall.   The old desk top went and I am trying to  clean downstairs.  Sorting through all the wires.  I didn't get up until 6 45.  Got 8 hours of sleep from t he  watch.   I switched back from apple to Fitbit.

We drove down to Veteran's Park and walked all the way past Seaside Lagoon.  There was some kind of  setting up for volleyball.

Came home and  had very little for FM.  Charity came by and we got lots of interesting  snacks and some cat food.  I went for a 8.5 mile bike ride back and forth to mom's, dropping off bottles/recycling, dropping  off stuff for Steven in the garage, and then alley ride. Nothing to be had.  Dropped off Sarah's dishes.  They are cleaning their garage and a lot of stuff out on the side.  

I had  cooked some kalbi ribs yesterday and KR and Kurt had that for lunch.  Kurt took a LONG nap.  He then went out to Chris' as Inaya and Rene were in town from  San Diego.  We went to bed. The dizziness is not too bad today.  Took the s ame med .25 klonipin  am  and pm and 1 of ami.

I wrote a review for Smith Cycle, giving them a 2 star.

Friday goofing

 The beginning of  the NO WORK two weeks  Friday

KR and  I walked Angel I think, and then  he went to  Valor to some  kind of lunch with parents and they wanted some security.  So he carries his gun and be on the look out for suspicious people  It IS Friday the 13th and some  kind of call out for day of Jihad today.  All went well and he  ate before he left as there  was not  lunch  offered.  He did say there were pizza but he did not have any.

I went to lunch with Carole  Gooch, at BlueSalt Fish Grill.   I  ordered the scallops  and only ate 2 out of  5 so that KR can have the rest.  She is burying her autistic brother (70+ years old) in  a few weeks.  Her sisters are arguing  with  her.  Dang. 

I also rode to Chavez's office and gave Rebekah her electric toothbrush.  She has braces and never had an ebrush before.  However she  was  out at lunch and I  missed her.

I then rode down to Smith Bike and told them the  jumping gear issue is still on  going.   He rode  it around and changed this  piece of gear thingy and all is well.  He didn't say why that  was not done and  charged me  7 dollars plus.  I am debating if to Yelp him poorly.

Kurt  came home from  work and he had left over too.

Will did  not  call  me for  a ride.

Went to bed by 9

Thursday WORKING

 I didn't get up  until after  6 so I hurried and got to work  on time.   It  was busy but not crazy busy.  I was home by 12 50

KR was at Valor for a meeting.  And I started the Roomba.  I didn't see the poop on the floor in the den, and the Roomba rolled over it a bit.  WHAT A MESS Angel also peed upstairs soI clean that up.  Also KR forgot to clean the chicken poop.  I had to mop the floor downstairs and put the carpet out for washing tomorrow.  KR cleaned the wheels of the Roomba when I ran over to Smith's to pick up my bike.  The gears is still shifting when I ride over a bump.   I have to call them tomorrow.  I was exhausted when I got there.  Merely three miles and I can barely run it.  Dang that hip.

KR took Angel to the beach for a walk and went and checked the surf.  They had Sarah's lamb chops for dinner.  I had  the left over lengua.  

Kurt said he had to work at 8 this morning.

NO WORK  FOR TWO WHOLE WEEKS    HIPPPPPHIIPPPYIPPPPP

10/11/2023 Our 38th anniversary

 SO we made i t  to 38 years !!!

Wow, the same man  that  I love love and love

We were up early, actually he was.  We went to Veteran's park with Angel  She just loves the squirrels there.  Got home, KR went to  Maria's to meet Claus, her son and giving him the key and direction t o get to San Pedro.  I r ode my bike to Smith Cycle to ask if they can use the stem extender.  Nope they cannot.  KR had a sandwich for lunch and took a nap.  I also tried to nap and then Will called to see if we had any  food he can eat.  Of course we had,  He ate the rest of the pancakes and bacon then a pizza and went back to work (Amazon).  

Sarah gave us some soul food and other stuff, left over.  We went to Blue Water Grill for our anniversary dinner.  KR ordered the same Gemilli pasta  again, and it was sea scallops, but it came with ONLY ONE ! We asked  the server and she said  there was suppose to be  TWO, so she brought another one out.   Dang I guess I am suppose to give them a good review as the dinner was COMP.  We tipped 25 bucks.  

Sarah called again and we picked up more food.  

Will called for a ride just as I laid down to sleep so I asked Kurt to go and he did.  Will wanted him to drive him home to Long Beach and Kurt said no.  

Tuesday 10/10/2023 Taiwan Independence Day

KR was up by 4 45 for  his 6 30 bible study.  I did not get out of bed until after 6.  Thought about going for a run, but did not.  Kurt didn't know if he had work, he did at 8 so I made his lunch and he made a mad dash out of here.  

We went to Veteran's Park to walk Angel and ran into Bill Brand.  His cancer is still bad and he is in some trial in Houston.  Dr Wong text me they had a cancelation so I went at 11.  KR went to see Maria W in San Pedro.  Her son is flying in tomorrow.

Monday What a good lazy day

 Well, kind o f

KR  was up early for his Monday group.  I was so asleep.  According to my Fitbit, I am now wearing the  Versa, the Apple Watch was driving me nuts with the daily charge, I slept for 8 hours and 19 minutes.  

I went for a 2.57 mile run when KR was with his group. 12 minute pace.  SLOW I am also  getting FAT! Usually   I am about 108 when I get  up but today I was 112 YIKES.  Need to slow down the eating.  I have been e ating peppers with nutritional yeast, yum, but too many calories I guess.

We waited until Maribel and Andrea were here and walked Angel at the beach.  Kurt went to work at 12 and he ate a pancake and some other stuff.  TUSD had no school today.  NOT Columbus day, but Indigenous people day.  Sheesh

We had Steve's short ribs for lunch. VERY GOOD, and we all took a nap.  I went out for at least an hour.  

KR watched some football and  we walked  Angel to the park.  There were nary a squirrel to be seen.

Dinner was salad with  left over ribs.  I ate only cantaloupe.  Can't get  fatter !!!

Sunday 10/8/2023

I could not get out of bed today.  Kurt was up and got ready for San Diego.  He and Corrina went down to the zoo with Inaya as she got some discount tickets.   

KR took Angel to the beach  and I stayed home.   I  did drop off some squash for Maggie.

We went to  church..Topic was Luke

We came home and I cooked some samosas that Sakthi gave us.  She and the family across the street moved up to Cupertino and had a lot of food and we took it all.  KR and I both took a nap.  I was so so asleep, like I could  not wake up except had to pee.  

Jon Liu came by and picked up the rest of the squash and had a nice chat.

Patty gave us some short ribs after I hemmed Steve's shirt.  They are so so delicious.

Saturday

KR banged up his knee and pulled a little hamstring muscles last night while diving.  But he says he is  still  going tonight !!!   Gotta go while the going is good.

We took Angel to the beach for a walk.  They went down to the sand and I ran around the incline up and down.  Kurt came home after Corrina went to work.  

They went to FM and we got SO MANY POBLANO peppers plus squash.  I managed to give away all the peppers by Sunday, and I gave Buffy some watermelon and cantaloupe.  She must had a seizure last night as there was feathers, but not everywhere.  When she has a bad one there is poop and feathers galore.   

Everyone took a nap.  Except me.  I went for a 10 mile ride  

I also did some weighs on the bench before going to bed.

KR went diving again and got THREE lobsters.  He went by himself.  He was tired before he went but  since the surf was coming up he thought he better go.  I was ASLEEP  !!!!

Resting Friday

 I did not have anything  scheduled.  Which is just what I wanted

We were up and out to the beach with Angel.  Kurt had work at 8 and said that there was pizza or something for lunch at work and I didn't  have to make  him anything.

I went to AAA first and deleted my auto insurance for the Odyssey.  Then I went to Avenue Auto Body and got 600 dollars for my SALVAGED car, and gave Steve Hornbeck the extra key and said good bye to a very nice car that I had for over 20 years !!!!

I stopped at 99 cent store and bought a bunch of stuff.  Came home and KR had gone to check the diving.  He had Philly Cheese and took a nap.  I took a run !!!  VERY SLOW about 14 min mile for about 2.5 miles.  I then went to the pool for a half hour walk and Maggie and Bob came and we talked and I came home.

Kurt went and spent the night at Corrina's.  I went to bed by 9.  Will didn't  call  me for a ride.  KR went lobster diving and got FOUR but he didn't  take any pictures !!!!!!

WORKING thursday

 So it  was  not too bad

I was up l ate, like 6 10 and rushed out at 6 30  The schedule was not too bad but  we were very busy.  Maribel and Tracy also wanted me to look  at their model as they wanted a new night guard.  My jaw is still sore from the adjustment by  Dr Wong on Wednesday.  WOW, them MMA folks that fight must be sore from head to foot after a fight.

I was home and KR  was asleep.  I went to the alley for a ride and got a blanket and a backpack.  Went to my acupuncture appt and she did my TMJ for pain.  It helped some but today (Friday), still sore

KR took  Angel to the fire road for a  walk. 

Chuck brought over a bone for  Angel and she LOVED it.  He is so funny. 

I felt like Seafood Town shrimp so  I ordered one and we ate it all for dinner.

It was 80 degrees.  Oh, I sat outside for about an hour  working on my tan in the afternoon too.

Wednesday Office Meeting

 So we did h ave office meeting even though   Dr Sata was  not there.  She went to NYC first and then to  Orlando for the ADA meeting.   Marc  was  there, and so was the new assistant and the new  extant 

I drove KR to pick up Kurt's car at Independent repair.  Cost almost 800 to fix.  Kurt will need more  work but as of  now, it is enough.   

I was done and drove to Avenue Auto Body.  I  cleaned out the car  and will go back with the pink slip tomorrow and sell them t he car for 600   bucks,  salvage.

I came home and went fora  ride.  KR was at Bill's doing some  bee things.   Then I w ent to the chiro for  my TMJ work.

IT WAS VERY PAINFUL!!!  LIKE he said it would, but I suffered through it.  I think it is actually helping my TMJ.  

Came  home and KR was napping.  

KR went to the  church for more usher training,  especially on the hostile attendee thing.

I cooked tuna and ate and went to bed. Tomorrow is early workday. 

Tuesday The insurance company is killing me 10/3/2023

 So I was early,  before  6 before  KR went to his Bible Study at the church

I  started a load of laundry cleaning all the floor mats. Kurth had work and left by 8. KR went to walk Angel and  he is going to figure out when to visit Maria.  I was on the phone what felt like hours trying to get the Odyssey straighten out.  Mercury wants to pay me 5626.86$ and that is it !!!  I talked with  Avenue auto repair and left a msg with Eric at AAA and tried to call back Mercury.  What a hassle.

I  spoke with  Britnee again and she said the settlement value is 5626.86.  THAT is it !!!!  I  spoke with Eric at  AAA who said  that  they, AAA would not help paying the storage bill.  I talked with  Steve at Avenue Repair and Steve  said that I should talk to the supervisor about getting someone to pay the storage fee.  

Steve said he would offer me 600 bucks for the van, as the salvage company is offering $533.  Jeez, really.

I have office meeting and  I still  have to mess with all this problem.  

We had  Bible  Study and only 7 showed up.  Mike was having more surgery, previous melanoma.  

MONDAY and half a day at work

 So it is 8 - 1.  KR  had  his Monday morning group and I went to work.  The extern  Neda was there,  and so was the NEW dental assistant Mary.   She seems  very nice.  The day  was  not bad, and I had hoped to hear from  Mercury.    NOPE  no and no 

I got home and kept calling Brittnee.  Turns out she was out sick.  I  fianlly got a hold of her supervisor  Andrea, and she said it was not suppose to take  that long and she would get back to me. Well,  no one got  back to me.  I went for a ride and will call them again tomorrow.

I got back on the klonipin yesterday as  it was really hard the last two weeks,  I thought the med was not  doing anything,  turns out it must have been as the spinning was WAY less with the meds.  Especially in the morning, I feel way dizzier without the meds.  So I text Curt Lee and got more.  However, CVS says  they don't carry any so I had to go to Von's.  Tomorrow I will pick it up.

KR went to do the sourdough starter for Mary and moved her car.  Then he took Angel for a walk.  Yesterday when we went out to walk her she chased Fluffy kitty and got scratched up in the forehead area and chased her up a tree.  That rascal dog.  I wish  she would  not chase cats.

The four kittens are getting larger and are still eating here.  

I also saw Kurt today at the office for cleaning and SDF, 2/3, 14/15. 18/19  He  had calculus lower  anterior completely blocking the prox.   I scaled it all clean. 

OCTOBER wow SUNDAY

So our Indian Summer never came.   Or as KR says, 'not yet'.  

Dawn was gray and cold.  We went down to the beach and the sun came out.  

I cooked some eggs and went to church.  I  was  REALLY dizzy and  not feeling well.  I took .25 mg Klonipin and started feeling a little better.  I came  home and  cooked the beans for the pot luck.  KR stayed for  Q & A.  We  had a good meal.  Lots of food.   Steak, chicken enchilada,  beans, salad, and then desserts.

I came home and went  on a ride.  Got a comforter.  Washed it and  will donate.  All of us took a nap.  KR took Angel for the afternoon work and we ate the left  over and I got ready for work tomorrow.

Saturday and last day of September

 Where does  the  time go?

I was up by  6 16  and the wt was 107.3.  So i fluctuate between 106.2 to 109  in the  morning.  We went to the park and Angel chased a bunch of squirrels,  not getting any of course.  There was a lot of people walking dogs.  

KR went to visit Maria W at Torrance Memorial.  They were going to transfer her to San Pedro Peninsula to start the rehab program.  He and Kurt went to FM but there was only a little lettuce and a yellow watermelon.

I dropped Kurt's truck off at Mikes, Independent Repair and he needs about  1500 dollars worth of work mainly brakes and something about 'lower control arm'  replacement.  Well, he has not had anything done on the truck for years so it is amazing that is all  he needs.  I rode the bike back, almost 5 miles and it was raining lightly.  

Actually it rained lightly for about an hour.

They both took a nap and KR took Angel to the Fire Road  and then washed  her.  I stayed home.  

We had a Stouffer Lasagna for dinner.  KR went to Ralphs for milk and lettuce and bread.
