It was early Wednesday, like 3 am on 1/23/19 that we arrived at the airport. We got WiFi to figure out what public transportation to take to the cruise terminal, and then McDonald's for brekkie, except KR had a burrito. Alan had the big breakfast and I had six cups of coffee. THen it was MRT to the boat. We changed money and bought MRT cards for 12 Singapore dollars each, five dollars for the card and seven dollars fare.
Singapore airport is so so nice, with fresh flowers, orchids, orange trees (dwarf version) and all over the airport in nice displays, with the pig, as this is the year of the pig. We decided to go to the boat to drop off the luggage, thinking that we would have to pay for temporary storage, but NO NO NO, the people were ready to take our luggage.
We went back to the MRT and rode into town to see Garden by the Bay. It was really pretty and we went to the really tall three giant structures tied together at the top with an infinity pool that Abby said was in the movie, Crazy Rich Asian. We had food in the big giant mall at the food court. I had Indonesian chicken. Then we went to another mall across the water to find some wine from a grocery store.
By the time we checked into the boat, immigration, and all, my back was so so sore. I had to lay down and so did mom, and KR's ear was so sore, we just napped. Then it was dinner. It was so so yummy. They, the Alagata's stayed up to do all kinds of stuff and we went to bed.
