Day of rest

Sunday, thinking it is going to be better.  Nope.  KR takes Matthew and Adrian to the beach.  Kurt goes hiking with the hiking club and I go swimming.  NO GO.  Thought the water would 'reset' my dizziness, no such thing.  Actually seems to either do nothing or made it a little worse.

We got to Bill Johnson's party on time, first ones there.  It was nice.  He is 75.  Elaine is so sweet too, and they have now two pointers.  Nice pups.

I got to my exercise class on time.  I finally broke down and took .25/  1/2 combo and feeling a little better after the exercise class.

Don't think I will eat dinner.  Just go to bed.

Saturday

Praying for relief.  Gets up pretty good, but then the rocking started to get worse.  Just going to hang and see what happens.  Did laundry.  KR tried to go surfing.  NO good, so fertilized the plants and went to farmers market.  Went for a long bike ride.  Saw a bunch of smoke and thought there was a house on fire to the east.  I rode past Western, and the smoke was still at least 3 miles off.  It was probably just the burn off at the refineries down in the harbor.  hahaha

I stopped at 99 cent store, and bought a few things.

Came home and Kurt came back from work.  KR had host and Kurt and I went to church.  Got there on time too.

They had tacos and I had gas.  So bad gas, farted all during church and trying to go to bed.  I drank all the broccoli juice.  Note to self:  broccoli juice will give you gas, not just eating broccoli.

Laundry Day

So today doing laundry, noticed the rocking started to get worse and worse.  I didn't go to the 8 am yoga, but made it to 9 30.  So glad.  I took the usual .25, half tab, and seems to abate a little bit.  Lunch with Julie was at Zayna Mediterrean Grill, nice place off of PCH and Ave E or F.  Then it was off to work with Judi Dennis.  Stopped at the grocery store on the way home to get some stuff for Bible Study.

In the afternoon, I rode around the alleys and went for a short jog.  KR took the dog to Fire Road.  Said the two people that own the house were there working in the yard, and didn't say a thing, and still had the trash cans blocking the sidewalk.  Some folks are so weird.  By the time I came home, he had already left, so I got the house ready.

Everyone showed up for Bible Study, except Cindy and Tony.  We are going to have a pot luck on Good Friday.  I just love this group.

WORK

If it is Thursday, it is work day.

Arrived by 6 50 after being woken up by KR, wink wink, at 5 50

It was BUSY, and Megha came in to see a patient.  I learned how to do knee to knee extraction, and silver diamine fluoride.

I didn't leave until 1 45

Was so hungry when I came home, KR made asparagus with bacon.  Yum.  I was going to go nap but instead we went on a walk up fire road with Gracie.

Then I came home and had a little rest.

Very little dinner.

Tomorrow work, Judi Dennis.  Julie Jensen wants to have lunch.

Still a bit dizzy.  Took .25 c and half tab P.

Bed about 8 30

Wednesday YOGA or NO Yoga

Well, I made it 5 45 am to yoga, except Amy is sick so no class.  I did stay in the upstairs room and did an hour of yoga and stretching by myself.  Gotta keep them hips limber.  Right

KR and I walked the dog before his screening, and we saw a dresser, so we went back and picked it up.  I dropped it off at the garage and brought Will's comforters back to wash.  They were so dirty, disgusting that I washed them twice.  It has not rained for over a two weeks, so I hosed the water outside to water the yard.  I was pretty pooped doing two loads of laundry and watering the front.

KR went shopping at El Super, and spent 71 dollars, mostly meat, and he cooked broccoli and then boiled the beef ribs, which we are having for dinner.  Kurt had class, but no work.  Oh, I forgot, Kurt actually washed KR's car yesterday afternoon.

This afternoon he went out running, kind of at Hickory Park, good for a little exercise.

I also sent to the park, and sprinted the width of the park.  I was exhausted. My neck still hurts on the left side. Don't know what the problem is but using bengay helps.  KR took the Gracie to the fire road and I just laid around and rested, and listened to book on tape.

Seems like I have less motivation with this MdDS thing.  I would like to be more active.  I ride a little, but always have to run right after the riding.

Megha also called, and wanted to know if I can work full time for a month, like mid July to mid August.  Both she and Monica are thinking of taking some time off with their kids.  I said yes.  I might be regretting it.  So much work.  Too busy, I would be exhausted.  Maybe by then my dizziness would be better.

I went to bed early.  Working tomorrow

3/26/19

Went to CVS but missed my coupon day, ended yesterday, oh well.

KR went to Oswald and I didn't get up til 7.  Then he went surfing.  I have a patient at 1pm.  Leah.  Some days I just dont wanna work, because of the vertigo.  Will go to Lindberg to see if I can get some magnesium, suppose to help.  Who knows.

James says he is a bit dizzy lately, too.  Especially on one side.  I suspect it is the crystals thing with him, not with me.  I wrote to the lady in Tulsa that I cannot participate in the study.  Staying in Tulsa for a week?  You kidding?

Walked Gracie back from almost Y-Not.  She saw at least four squirrels so she was happy.  I ran to the park and the hips a little sore.  I also took .25 mg clonipin, plus half tab of prozac didn't seem to do much for the dizziness.  It seems to help me sleep if I took it right before bed, but I get some real dreams.  Can't remember what kind but seems to be more dreams.

I had cooked chickens in the crock pot, but I didn't feel like eating.  KR ate, I went to bed by 8 30 but didn't get to sleep til about 9

Monday

Well, if I go to bed at 8 30 and be asleep by 9 I SHOULD be able to get up for the 6 am yoga, you would think?

Nope

I didn't get out of bed til about 7 45.  How can I sleep so long?  At least didn't have to work.

KR went to the Lawndale screening and I walked the dog.  Then he tried to go surfing, no go, blown out.  I just lazed around all day, didn't have much energy.

We went to the gym and worked out, at least I did that.

Ate too many chips, carbs, and didn't feel as good as when I didn't.

KR down to 182 pounds, me at 118, all in the morning.  Trying to keep losing some.

Seems like Regina is mad at me about something, maybe Cat is not telling her I am scheduling patients right?  Gotta straighten that out tomorrow.

Lazy Sunday

Can't remember

Except

KR took Matthew to the fire road, I stayed home and hung around

I took a whole clonipin and was so so so tired, all day, never again.

Went to the exercise class at 3 45, it was ok, not too rocky, by then.

Went to see Will to talk about the housing situation.  He is so ungrateful.  After a bit, he started saying that we are criticizing him, when we are merely questioning his judgement.  Case in point.  He does not pay his ticket so it goes double.  He says it is wrong for the city to double the fine.  We tell him it is the city's prerogative to double or triple the fines, whatever the charter says, and that he needs to pay it.  We said if they catch you with expired tag, can tow your car and you are stuck.

He seems very resistant to any kind of constructive criticism, nor direction, nor anything.......

Went to bed early, again.

Webinar day

So today is better than yesterday, but still rocking.

I finally got online to the webinar.  Megha Sata was fabulous.  She was one of the panelists to present and I got to see her online.

Will was suppose to come over but by the time he wanted to come, 1 pm, my webinar started again.  It was very interesting.  So I started 9 pm, lunch break 12, back on 1, I finally went for a run at 3 53 to 4 15, and listened to the last 15 minutes, and it was over early 4 45.

Kurt came home with Corrina after going to an ACLU event at Grand Park downtown.  Said it was interesting, except Bernie Sanders didn't show up till after they left, which was about 2.  They went over to Chinatown and had a look see, then came home.

He came to church with us.

I am still dizzy.  Going to bed.

Dizzy Day

I woke up with a LOT of dizziness.  It has been fairly ok, for the last seven weeks.  We got off the boat on February 3, and the first week the dizziness was really bad, but gradually got better.  I don't mind dizzy, but the nausea I really don't like.

So I made myself go to the YOGA class at 8.  I think it helped.  Then it was laundry, and work at 1 with Mrs. Mary Ashley.  She has some dementia and did not remember that I made a house call at her house last year.

I came home and went for a bike ride, hoping it would help.  I always run, like maybe a mile after a ride, and that helps decrease the dizziness from the bike ride, like that time I went to Cindy's house last month.  So as I sit here at 5 in the afternoon, I am not as bad as this morning, but not great comparing with the last few weeks.

On a good note, Will took all day at court and the judge said essentially if he did not see Will in the next 6 months, all would be dropped.  So it is a He said She said thing and cost me three grand.  We are pressing that he pays back the money, eventually.

Kurt worked Instacart 11-3

Thursday

I didn't have to work today, as the office was doing teledentistry or something.  KR and I went walking up the fire trail.  It was cold, and sprinkled slightly.  There was flash flood on the 710, and even hail around Paramount, but we did not get any rain, other than two drops.

We stopped at the Korean store, and I bought some tendons, to go with the eggs I cooked.

After the meal, we went and worked out at mom's gym.  KR had a nap.

We had clinic in the afternoon/evening at Journey.  But the x ray was not working, as Louie just ordered the handle, which the old one was not taking a charge.  He takes awhile at getting things done.

I came home and went straight to bed.  Didn't eat any dinner.

3/20/2019

So it is the first day of SPRING.

And I do go to the correct yoga class, not like yesterday, thinking it was Wednesday.  It was good.  I was not too dizzy.

I text Will about court and he says, WHAT COURT??????

It was, so I thought, suppose to be today at 8 30, but he did not remember the visit at Al's and all the stuff, and so I was so stressed.  I went to see Adele.  She is such a love.

KR went surfing, first time in over two months !!!!!  Then he rushed off to meet with Doug B regarding the Men's retreat.  Then he came home for lunch and a beer and nap.  I cleaned the sewing room, and then sew something.......

BANG

the dizziness

wow, the thud thud thud of the sewing machine sent me to a loop

I had to lay down.

But I could not sleep

After awhile, I got up.  KR went and walked the dog.

I went for a bike ride to help with the dizziness and ran about a mile after the ride.  That works pretty well, not too dizzy after, so I will continue to do that.

Hopefully another early night.

Tuesday work day

Well, not really work day, especially if you only have ONE patient, Peter Brubaker.  It is so nice to see him.  I gave him a dozen eggs.  He is having a lump on the bottom of the floor of the mouth, and he said his MD said it was nothing, like a salivary gland something.  I told him to go back and check.

Cat was late to work, and Regina is thinking of getting a new girl.  She is having surgery in April so they are looking for someone to work full time for just a month.  I text Karen, but she said no, she just got a job with Catalina Express.  Oh well.

Went shopping at Ralphs and bought a bunch of orange juice.  Dropped some off at Will's.  I went for a bike ride, to Sam's and Wells Fargo, then when I got home, I ran for about a mile.  It seems to help a little with the bike induced vertigo.  I still laid down for a bit.  KR took Gracie to the FireRoad for a walk, and it looks like it is going to rain.

Monday Bee Day

I could not get out of bed.  The alarm went off at 5 30 and I said ok, I will go to the yoga class, and blinked, seriously, just blinked and it was 6 30, so I said oh what the heck and went back to sleep til about 7 30.  Kurt helped dropped the Nomad off at the office before school so I didn't have to go.

KR took my car to his ear appt.  YEAH, he can now surf.  He is jazzed, but no surf yet.

He got the bee stuff ready and spun out one box.  There was no honey in the other box!!!????  We could not figure out  Guess I didn't need to freak about possibly getting bees on my chickens.  I went running when he went out to hang some swarm traps.  I ran the alley, and didn't puke !!  Total mile ran, 2.1.  WOWOWOWO  so hard

KR and I tried taking a nap about 5, Kurt came home at 5 30.  Gracie needs to lose weight, this lady vet told KR.  HAHAHA  KR lost about 5 pounds so far.  Me not so much.  Same.

Sunday, March 17, 2019

Sunday

I didn't get up till about 7 and was still a bit dizzy.  KR was going to harvest the honey and I always get worked up over it.  I prayed about it, and it is what I should do.

I didn't feel too good this morning so I just laid around.  John Crookston came by and got the swarm of bees that were in our podocarpus tree and he forgot the fume board so KR could not do the honey thing.  Kurt went hiking at Temescal Canyon and went down to the beach for lunch, said it was 80 degrees and so many people were down there.

KR cooked corn beef and we had it and cabbage for dinner.

We left at 7 45 for Roxy, in West Hollywood.  It was on Sunset.  First it was Overstreet.  Whatever that band is.  I guess there are lots of people that like it and know all their songs.

Then it was Weathers.

I just don't see the attraction.  Al Boyer was there.  Karen and Penny and Barry, etc all the Olson gang.  I had to leave and get in the car before they were finished.  The loudness was giving me a terrible headache.  We got home by 11.  Kurt and Corrina enjoyed it.  I took 1/2 clonipin and 1/2 proxil seems to sleep well

Trailer Dentistry

Saturday is trailer dentistry, and yesterday KR had gone to the office to borrow the Nomad as ours was not charging !!!!!  It was at Beacon Light shelter in Wilmington.  I did x rays all day, outside, it was HOT HOT and HOT.

Only Dr Steve was there other than KR and me.  We worked til 3 30.  I didn't eat til about 2 I was exhausted.

We went to church and had tacos at home.  I didn't eat.

Went to bed and did not take any meds.  Wanted to see if not taking the clonipin would help with the dizziness.  It didn't help with the sleep.  I woke up several times and had a hard time going back to sleep.  Will try not to take anything tomorrow to see if anything helps.

Friday

I was suppose to work at 11 30 to see Angel.  Got a call from her at 10 30 that she was done with Dr Kelliny.  I had walked over to mom's and did not bring my phone.  So I called her and said I will be there at 11 to see her.

AND SHE WAS LATE.

She is always late, oh well.  She said that she had to stop at her favorite bakery and buy a few things.

Her report from Dr K was good.  She had some tarter and a few stress fractures that needed watching.  We went out to the Original Pancake House and had brunch/lunch.  The Dutch Baby was really good.  I went back to the office and saw Linda Barbara.  She is such a joy.

Since I was at the office, I just went down to the beach for a run.....  or a crawl.....  man I was slow and out of shape.

We had bible study with the gang at the Francis house.  The Ackerman's were out of town.  Cindy was not feeling well, and Donna did not come but we had a nice time anyway.  I was ready for bed.

Work

It was easy working today, arrived early, 6 45.  Delivered Majorie's crown, and the rest of day went by like a blur.  Megha was there, it is always nice to see her.  I was rocking  a little bit.  Seems like the symptoms get worse as the day wears.  The office got me a large chunk of chicharrones from El Super for my birthday and a 25 dollar gift card.  What a bunch of sweetheart.

We sat outside for a little bit.  It was hot.

Then we walked down at the each.  I ran from the jetty to the park.  Felt like an old lady.

It is only 7 20 and I am going to bed.  Really tired.

Seeing Angel Go and Linda Barbara tomorrow.

Wednesday, March 13, 2019

No rain Wednesday

Well, the day dawns sunny, less windy.  I could not get out of bed for the yoga class.  The daylight savings didn't help either.  KR went to his Oswald group, and I just stayed in bed.  After he came home, we decided to go to the exercise room, worked out a little.  Sat outside for a bit.  We had lunch, although I was not hungry.  I wanted this to go away.

Kurt came home and sat outside catching some rays.

Tuesday always work, maybe

So I walked over to Maggie's to give Bob some sample bleach for his trays, and when I got home, Regina text that my 9 oclock is there.  WHAT????  No one said I had 9 am.  Well, guess she text me that Margarite Garza wanted to change from 11 to 9, so I rushed down there.  Saw her and then Brandon Bernstein, both were great patient.

I came home and was pretty tired.

KR and I went to workout at mom's guy, and then we sat out.  It was really really windy.  I just stayed in the jacuzzi.  We came home for a nap.  I took a clonipin and fluoxitine together before nap in hopes of quieting down the dizziness.  I slept well, which I never do in the afternoon, but at night was not feeling too well, queasy.

I made a reservation for Kurt and Corrina for Anza Borrego.  They are going to go Monday and Tuesday of their break, the first week of April.  We are going to San Francisco Friday the 12, or maybe Thursday the 11.  Depends on how I feel.  Hopefully way better by then.

So I went to bed pretty early.  I need this thing to go away. Like already !!!!!  I could see how Sandy must be so tired of being tired.

sigh

Tyler still has not said anyting about my birthday.

sigh

Monday we come home

We made coffee with the in the room coffee thing, and off we go to the visitor center.  We were thinking of hiking palm canyon, but didn't want to leave Gracie.  So we just walked from the visitor center to the camp site.  Very nice, lots of flowers.  We checked out and started driving home.

On 22, we saw a bunch of people off the side, so we stopped and saw a big horn sheep, just up the mountain, walking around.  In all these years, we have never seen one before.  Just one.  We took several pictures.

Then we stopped at Culp Valley, where we think we stopped years ago on our bicycle tour.  Then it was in and out for lunch, and there were lots of wild flowers by Lake Perris.  We got home, unloaded a little and took a nap.

Kurt came home.  I made him a reservation for Anza Borrego for next month.  Such a nice place.  He and Corrina are going to go.

off to bed

Sunday

We got up pretty early.  The continental breakfast was hard boil eggs, prepackaged danish, two kinds of cereal, coffee, waffles that you can make and orange juice.  Not much, but we ate some and got on the way.

We stopped at the Cabazon dinosaurs, and took photos, of course.  There is now a little museum thing that you can pay money and go see.  Well, it was cold and we didn't go, just took pictures.

Off to Salton Sea.  Where the shore line was full of barnacles and fish bones.  Gracie went into the water and was pretty mucky.  We were hit with so many painted lady butterflies, the windshield was full of yellow splats.

We got to Anza Borrego, there was WILD FLOWERS GALORE !!!!!!  We drove up to Coyote canyon and to sheep canyon, and didn't find any tortoises.  KR loved the four wheel drive.

Back at Palm Canyon Resort, we had two free drink coupons and KR had a beer and I had a midori sour.  We then went to the market for dinner, bought barbacoa meat, turkey sandwich, and two heads of lettuce.  Oh, we also took a jacuzzi first, before the dinner.  The two queen size beds were very nice.  We went to bed early.  Seems like we just like to sleep.  DAY LIGHT SAVINGS !!!!!!!

Leaving for Beaumont/Anza Borrego

Got out of bed at almost 7.  Breakfast of coffee.  Spinning a little still.  Took a whole dose of Fluoxetine, but no clonazepam.  I have to drive later as the MdDS group thinks driving is better than being a passenger.  I actually joined the facebook group of MdDS. KR has club and came home and we were on our way by 1.

I drove to Cabazon, the outlet.  We bought Kurt three shirts and two pairs of shoes.  I got a pair of Merrell shoes, they were so so comfortable.  KR got one too.  Why not.  It was cold, and windy. Gracie stayed in the car.

We then drove back to the hotel, stopping at the Station Taphouse for meal.  The service was slow, but the food was really good.  The roadway inn was really comfortable.  VERY old fashion.  Only 12 or 14 units and low slung, you can park right in front of your unit.  Can see the snow outside the door too in the distant mountain.

The King size bed was nice and of course Gracie slept with us.  She would not eat any dinner.  Maybe she was mad at us?  We were pretty tired.  KR had to get up in the middle of the night to tell the next door guys to quit yelling.  He thinks they were meth tweakers.

If it is Friday, it must be MY 60TH BIRTHDAY

How did it happey

How did I get to be 60

Where did the time go

Am I having fun

Well, today is the big day, and I am officially 60

Years ago, I remember thinking, and not thinking of 60 as it was so so so far in the future and them folks are so so so old.

So now I am here, how is it?

Well, the MdDS is not so good.  Mal de Debarquement Syndrome is what I believe I officially have and have started clonipin and prozac to help with the symptoms.  I would really like to be able to ride my bike.  Let's get started with the good things that happened today.

I woke up almost 7, and then Kurt KR and I went to the yoga class.  I had asked them to join me for yoga as a birthday present.  They went, and had a pretty good time.

Then it was to Denny's for brekkie.  The traditional FREE GRAND SLAM !!!!

Then Kurt went to work and KR and I walked the dog on the fire trail.  It was really windy by the beach.

We got home and went to the gym for a work out and a jacuzzi.  That was great.  We tried sitting outside, it was a bit cold for me.  We took a nap, right after Kurt came home from work.

Then it was dinner at Chicken Maison.  Corrina came with us and we had a great time.  I had this craving for their garlic sauce.  KR made a fire and watched some TV with Kurt and Corrina.  Then Kurt took Corrina home and I went to bed.

What a birthday.  My sibs texted all day to wish me happy birthday.

Will did NOT CALL OR TEXT

TYLER DID NOT CALL OR TEXT

Kurt is still making me a card.

I take half a tab of each clonazepam and fluoxetine to bed.  Not much change.  Maybe a little less of the "cockroach man" gait.  No nausea today.

Thursday, March 7, 2019

If it is THURSDAY, it must be a work day

It was a work day, and no rain.  Got to the office by 6 50, not bad.  Didn't have that many patients but I still didn't leave until 1 30.  I got a couple bleaching splints done, the lab work was not easy as we didn't have a model trimmer, and the splint material was for retainer, NOT splint so I had to cut it with handpiece.

Yvonne was pretty good at trying to trim them, so hopefully next Wednesday when they deliver, the splints would work.

I also saw Garrett and Amber's daughter at office.  They go to our church, and the kids are adopted.

I also saw Brianna, Rebecca and Richard's granddaughter.  What a mess.  Never seen a mouth so bad, at least 1 mm of plaque EVERYWHERE !!!!

Came home, and was nice and warm.  Sat outside with KR for about half hour.  Then Kurt came home.  We went and walked the dog, I ran home from Calle Mayor, 2.2 miles and it was hard.  My hip hurt.  Got the RX when Curt Lee called me back.  He has not heard of Mal de Mer.  So I will try clonipin and prozac.  Yikes......

Didn't feel like eating any dinner.  Took a shower and went to bed.

Tomorrow........   I will be 60 years old.  WOW

So KR picks up the clonazepam and fluoxetine tonight and I take half of each to bed.  Let's see how it goes.  Hopefully the spinning will go away.

Wednesday, March 6, 2019

If it is first Wednesday of the month, it must be OFFICE MEETING

It rained all night, almost.  I made it to the 6 am yoga.  Office meeting at 9.  Lunch with Diane.  It was pouring in the middle of the drive and I got there a few minutes late to the meeting.  Today it was short, we got done about 10 40.  Diane had a facial at the Del Amo Mall, so we met at Brio for lunch.

Oh, Dr Sata also baked blueberry muffins and others brought some kind of food too, so we had a good meeting.  There is a new dental assistant, from India, I think, so all of the office is now Indian, except for me, and Yvonne, who is Mexican.

We had a great lunch at Brio, small plates.  She gave me a gift and I will have to wait till Friday to open.

Went to the office at 2 to see Monika to adjust the retainer.  I thought I saw her at Del Amo, and it was her.  I asked her at the office.

Brought a dental chair in as Will's does not have a back and I just can't work like that.

KR cooked chicken and we got our April SF trip kind of ironed out.  We are going up to stay at Diane's on Friday night the 12th of April.  To Neil and Janie's on Saturday night, and prolly to Doug's on Sunday night, and maybe Monday too.  Home either Tuesday or Wednesday.  Just gotta remember to schedule off work Tuesday, April 16.

Pretty dizzy today.  Did laundry and rained hard around 6 pm.  Went to bed by 8 15.  WORK tomorrow.

If it is Tuesday, it must be colonoscopy

I dropped KR off at Little Company of Mary at 6 15.  He always wanna be early.  They said 11 15, so I rescheduled Monika to 12, and then to 11 45.  I went home and did more paper work, trying to fix my Mal de Mer.  Gaze therapy seems to help some.  I will consider one of the benzo's and maybe klonipin.

Then they called me and KR is ready.  10 30 am  He wanted a pastrami sandwich and then he said the doctor said nothing too greasy and no alcohol for the next 24 so we just came home and had a burger.  He was feeling gassy, and farted alot, but nothing bad.  He also had two polyps removed and will know if they are cancer next Monday.  I must remind him to get the result.

I went to see Monika, and she forgot her retainer.  The crown fits well, except the lab did not do the 3mm collar like I asked, but a 1 mm.  Oh well, at least I am not getting charged, as I bought Louie some Cadcam blocks (zirconia) and they are suppose to be 150 each, and I think I gave him five of them.

Stopped at Ralphs and bought some food.  Steaks for them tonight.

KR took a long nap.  I ran to the bank.  Them legs are so out of shape.  Must try to run more.

Kurt came home after a long day of Instacart, and me and KR watched two episode of MASH  !!!

It is going to rain.

Monday, March 4, 2019

If it is Monday, it must be YOGA

I made it to the 6 am yoga class.  Amy is a dear and I like the class.  I was a bit dizzy, still.

KR went to Chris' bible study and then his post op, still not completely closed so he has another appt in two more weeks and cannot go in the water yet.  He is bummed.  I went and cleaned the garage some and took stuff to Goodwill.  Will have to use his truck for the bar stools tomorrow.

The mess is not too bad.  Bed frame, mattress, misc.  I also cleaned out the stuff Kurt brought home from Eliot's and gave some stuff away.  KR started prepping for his colonoscopy tomorrow.  Oh what fun.  We sat out in the sun for a bit.  No rain today, and quiet present.  I might go for a short run now and see if my hips can handle it.  We got the wipes ready for KR.

At 6, I went to church where the Neighborhood Watch block captain meeting was with Chief Eve Irvine.  It was interesting.  I saw several people I know from KHC, like Ron and Rica Chan.  Came home and KR was still "running" on the toilet.  Tomorrow is the big day !!!!

Sunday and what a day

So Sunday dawns and still rainy, drizzling, actually.  I went to a spinning class.  YES, first one in years, it felt like.  I only lasted about 30 minutes, got so so worn out and out of shape.  I think my respiration rate was 160.  WOWOWOWO  it would never climb that high before.

Gracie had messed up her shoulder, right front, badly chasing a squirrel yesterday, KR gave her some carpofen yesterday, and did not take her on a walk today, and have her some more carpofen.  She is a little better.  That dog just can't hunt.

I cleaned up a lot of paperwork, and made our reservation with Palm Canyon Hotel, over 200 bucks, can you believe that????  Then the fun started.

Kurt and dad went down to Long Beach to pick up Will's stuff.  Almost three hours later, Kurt text Will, "Get your ass out here", to start getting his stuff into Grandma's garage, he came out swinging, literally.  Will was so mad that he was yelling at Kurt and dad and that we are too hard on him and that he is appreciative (although hardly showing it) and etc and Kurt and Will actually got into it and started fighting.

KR was trying to figure out what was going on, long story short, they dumped all the stuff in the garage.  I was at the class at the YMCA and had no clue that was going on.

So the short story is that Will thinks he is appreciative, and we don't and just rag on him all the time.

That boy needs to move out.

More Rain Saturday

So it is raining, again.  KR walks the dog at the beach.  We then go to Farmer's Market, where Gracie almost got a squirrel and wrenched her front shoulder.  We then go to PetSmart for free food, and looked at a leash.  Lots of dogs and cats there.

We got a lot of kale and arugula and some brussel sprouts plus an onion.  I cooked them all.  YUM, nothing like free food.

Afternoon Kurt went to work for Eliot, moving boxes.  He will go again tomorrow.  We all went to church.  New format started last week, and it is ok.  You cannot be late, as meet and greet is first.

We had dinner at home.

Naomi and Jim came to church too.  Nice to see them.

I am really dizzy today.

Friday

If it is Friday, it is Bible Study Day

I am still trying to get the paperwork done.  It is slow going, but oh so much stuff to unload.  I canceled the home phone.  The 310 530 1235 number is no more, and had it since April 1995, so that is almost 24 years.  Why pay 30 dollars a month for something you use for 3 minutes.  Looks like all we get is junk call and out going call was only 3 minutes for the month.

Also got Spectrum canceled and 70 dollars off our DirecTV bill for the next 12 months.

We shall see if that is a scam.

Then Will called to ask Kurt to help him move his stuff.  We told him to make sure Amanda is there, but he says that as he is or was a renter, he can come and go, but he didn't have his key, he thinks Amanda took it, so dad and Kurt went down there.

NO GO, of course.

Will is so sure of himself but often he does not know what he is talking about.

So Pops and Kurt come home.  In the meantime he text me to call Amanda, but I thought he should call Pops and Kurt to call her as I am home, and he got really rude, and when I confronted him on Saturday, he says he was NOT rude, that I SHOULD have understood his text.  I hate to say it, I could hardly wait until he moves out of Grandma's.

We get ready for bible study, and everyone came, except John.  It is so nice to have everyone around.  KR built a fire and we served guac, chips, etc and Joanne made more scones, they were so yummy.

Went to bed too late, I was tired.
