Free Friday

 I got up at 6, still very tired.  KR got up just a little earlier, and got ready for work.  There were ants again, but not a hundred thousand of them, just behind the stove.  Man, them ants are relentless.

We drove down there separately to walk Gracie.  It was a bit cold and foggy.  Weird weather for end of July.  I got gas at Costco, and saw Hien, looks like she is going through chemo again.  I felt so guilty for not contacting her.

I then got a call from Michael.  They want to sell Ellen's bikes, and Esme who works for NH thought they were 50 dollars each, and he didn't want to buy them, well, they are great and I am going to give away my old bikes, especially the Pacific Vista that I just got from the alley that I rehabbed.  

I paid my 4742.24 bill from TM, and then paid the anesthesia group bill of 381.05.

I started fixing my 'new' bike, taking the stem off the old and putting on the  new, but the kick stand does not work, I ordered a new one from eBay.  KR came home and had left over again for dinner.  Made a lot of phone calls, Denise, Mark some guy from the Montana trip, Jamie Murray, etc.

I had bad muscle spasm today.  

Another work day Thursday 7/29/21

 I was tired getting up, I got six hours 45 min of sleep.  Got to work at 6 45, and the schedule is busy.  Got done at 1 15 and then went running at 2 13 for 2 miles, at 12 14 pace.  

KR was working at Bill's all day, and tomorrow too.

I stopped at Rita's.  Michael was cleaning her condo for rent, and many things for sale.  I wish I had stopped in earlier, and buy some things.  But he says I should get the cleaning supplies etc, like the laundry soap and stuff.  

I got home and cooked the zuks and celery.  KR went to buy things for BOH church's memorial this Saturday, after work, and delivered to the church.

I am so so tired from work.  He came home and ate a fab dinner of squash/rib/salmon and we went to bed, after killing two moskies

LLLOOOONNNNGGGGGGGG working Wednesday

 So it is another crazy day.

I go to my post op appt with Shrader at 8 and they tell me since it is 90 days post surgery this appt is NOT covered.  I tell them the doctor is the one requesting this appt, and why didn't you make it before 90 days are up?  I left in a huf

Work was so so busy.  With Angelica there I still didn't get to lunch until 1 30.  Diego Chavez's crown did not fit, so I had to reimp.  And make another temp, so I just did a walk about for about 20 minutes, no running as I would be sweating too much.  I got done about 5 30 and when I got home, KR was not home.  He was at Yeye's and planting something.  I went for a short bicycle (6.03 mi) ride.  KR came home and had Naby's left over goat for dinner.  I was so so tired and went to bed earlier than KR.  I was OUT

I told Maribel that we need to have some help if she expects me to do a thorough job.  I feel that sometimes I am taking short cuts, that I don't want to.

Working Tuesday and KR comes home

 I got to work by 8 to see Rita Risor.  She is always a delight.  Then it was Mary.  I think the gums is not well enough for implant and I wanted to wait until the tissue mature a bit more.  I put a SSC on it and made a call to Dr Kelliny.

Then Kimel canceled, so Donna Crawford came in early.  I then went to Donna Whitehead's mom, Frankie's funeral at GreenHills.  Then it was Red Onion lunch, but I didn't go.  I went to Ralphs for sushi and milk, and went back to work to see Forrest.  He called me last night, he is going back to Taiwan this Sunday, instead of end of August.  Something about an interview, so he needs to have some x rays and cleaning.  WELL, he needs two or three fillings.

Lovely wrote that Mom went to elderly center.  Wonder how that went.

KR got a ride with Steve Heffernan, and was home about 4 30.  I went for a short run.  It was 1.73 miles at 12 03 pace  RIGHT ON !!!!!

We went down to the beach, but Gracie didn't wanna walk much.

We had Naby's left over for dinner and went to bed by 9

IT RAINED Monday 7/26/2021

 I had a TERRIBLE night sleep.  Woke up about 2 and did not go back to sleep until at least 3.  There were many moskies that was biting me.  I killed three, one full of blood.  Before going to sleep about 10, Kurt and I were looking for them and killed a few more.  I woke up this morning and had this GIANT of a bite on the right side of my forehead that was about the size of a half dollar.  I took a pic and sent to KR> I think I am going to wear FULL DEET tonight.  

It was slightly RAINING when I was up.  Not much though, just a little.  Enough to wet the ground, that is it.  I drove to Sarah's and picked up food and then walked Gracie at the park.  She saw only ONE S thing, but she was happy.  

I rode my bike to Emy's place to drop off some pho powder that Sarah had for her.  Then I drove back to pick up a red chair that I got on BNT.  

Lovely posted that the lock down stops tomorrow and mom can go to the elderly center.  YIPEEEE

KR of course had a great time and eating and fishing

Sunday

I took Gracie on a short walk, around the neighborhood.  She didn't wanna go.

 So Violet first text me that she and dad are not going to church, then she calls and said they WENT to church but no one there.   I reminded her that church now starts at 10, so she and dad hung around there and saved us a seat.  It was REVELATION again.

We came home and I went riding around.  My knee on the LEFT is a bit sore.  That is kind of strange.  Usually my right knee hurts from the Bakers' cyst, but maybe with this new bike.  I got the basket on and it is styling !!!!  So I walked at 7 48 but somehow gps no work, then biked at 8 27 for 6.2 miles, around the neighborhood, and then ran to mom's at 12 50 to meet Jason from Free Stuff FB to give away Rita's outdoor furniture, the slider, and the two chairs and the round small table.  I also did a bit of weights at the gym for about 30 minutes.

Kurt took Gracie to Corrina's to water the yard.

I got some sushi and cheap fried chicken and bananas

Kurt swept and mopped the floor.  I brought some more stuff to dad's garage and saw Ellen there at Rita's.  She sold her car.  She was sad

Saturday July 24, 2021

 So KR is having a good old time.  Fishing every day, and then discussion with the folks  There were many ants, AGAIN, and in the dish washer so I turned it on and hopefully no more that way.  That is not how it turned out.

I was at the clinic at 7 30 and smooth out Maribel's tooth 18, where the porcelain cracked off.  Then as she was explaining how she should get a new crown on 18, I see that something is loose on 19.  There is a large DOB buildup on 19 and the large distal portion had cracked at isthmus, so I had just wanted to go home, but she said to take it out.  I flicked it out and boy oh boy.  What a large buildup.  So I did a little Limelight and then bonded it with blue buildup and then composite on the top.  She didn't want a completely blue tooth !!!  HAHAHA  So we will have to do a crown on 19 next week.

OH MAN

It was hard working on my own, band, and etch and all that.

There were ants in the dishwasher so I turned it on.  They were everywhere.

I came home via the 99 cent store on Manhattan Beach Blvd and bought all kinds of stuff.

I went for a bike ride at 10 am, 6 miles.  Then I biked again at 12 33 for 2.3 miles.  I dropped off some Seacrest shampoo for Naby and as soon as I left someone came for corn (she has posted) and TOOK THE SHAMPOO !!!  I was so sad.  We posted that we can see this lady, and later on she RETURNED !!!!

I like my new used bike.  

I asked for a bike basket for the front and Davis Hom had one and I drove down there to pick it up, and trying to walk Gracie.  She did NOT want to walk, and we went maybe four blocks.

So the ants came back and I left a little cat food for maybe 20 minutes and they were ALL OVER AGAIN, like another 100,000.  I found the crack where they were entering and swept and killed more.

Charity came by with Harmony and Taro and we had a nice chat.

Went to bed by 9 30

Friday

 Easy today.  But had to get up early for PT at 7 with Jason.  He was tweaking me good.  I think I have no more PT, as it is 3 months post, and that means next week is 12 weeks post, so maybe I have one more week of PT.  I better make an app

Came back and there were more ants.  I went over to Yeye and tried to talk to him with the hearing aid, and he got really mad and said that he had the freedom NOT to wear.  Oh my and oye vey, me and Violet just sat there and tried to get the schedule squared away.  She is going to come back for four days next week, so she can keep Warren's money.  I will get Mimi to Venmo Kurt.

I started riding in the alley and saw this bike.  I came home and dropped off my bike and went to get this Pacifica 7 speed bike.  The seat was wrecked and the back break was wonky.  I sewed a seat and adjusted the various adjustable areas and got it riding pretty good.  I like it because is it small and low and a lady's bike.

Lovely wants me to buy a bike stem for Alan but we cannot find one long enough

Kurt had work to do and he barely go it done.

Maribel called me, the piece of porcelain that came off is cutting her tongue.  I am going in to smooth tomorrow.

I went to bed a d the skeeters came bombing away.  I could NOT sleep and had to take some benedryl.  I also unplugged the modem, and told Kurt to go to bed.  He was mad. 

KR to Montana

 I went to work at 6 30 and Bill Johnson picked up KR at about 6 45 and they were off to the airport.

Work was FAST and furious.  I had to help Andrea do a SSC.,  She is getting better but still a bit slow.  I just cannot remember how slow or fast I was in school.

Yvonne and Tracy all left early.

I showed Melissa how to do the clamps for endo.

I left at 1 20

Came home and went to the pool  First I SWAM for 30 minutes, THEN I biked for 3.9 miles, then I ran for a mile, to AAA at 13.21 pace to drop off Kurt's insurance AAA bill.  I walked home at 16.22 mile pace.  My hip was getting sore.

There were lots of ants this morning.  Gracie would NOT go for a walk, Kurt said.

KR sent a bunch of pics of Montana.  Had rain storm too.  What an exciting trip

WORKING all day Wednesday 7/21/2021 HAPPY birthday Eddie

 So it is  fast and furious.  I start at 8 and KR did too.  He did four canals endo on Kathleen #19,    FOUR canals.  I was so so busy.  Andrea Vasquez had a little trouble doing a SSC so I taught her how to crimp the crown so it is narrower MDlly, and so can fit.  I cemented it for her and took a tooth out too.

I went for little stroll at lunch 2.14 miles, and the first mile was 11 50  oh wow.  SECOND mile was 11:36.  HAHAHAHA  THEN I also walked to Sarah's to drop off some carrots.  That was a 15 38 pace.  Not bad

Got home and KR had made carrot juice, and cooked the steak I had defrosted, with rice.

We went to bed after KR finished packing

TWO patients Tuesday HAPPY BIRTHDAY EDDIE TOMORROW 7/20/2021

 So KR goes to work at Bill Philips by 8 and I go to work at Will's.  He said he is working on payroll and will be paying me SOON.  REALLY?  It has been almost six months.

My first patient canceled, Rita Woodbury, daughter Rita said that she is getting really weak and cannot leave the house.  I might be doing a house call soon.

So I asked Violet to bring dad to the office.  He is so so weird.  There was so much food in his mouth, all around the teeth.  I use the cavitron and then started scaling.  I must have hurt him a little and he started hollering that HE HAS HAD ENOUGH, that he is the boss of him and he does not have to have it done.  Violet comes in and tells him the the GOVERNMENT said that he needs to have it finished so he sits back down and I do a little more.  He has a large hole on the M of #10. 

Then it was Faye.  SHE IS NOT VACCINATED !!!   What is up with that?  Does she not think she needs to?  I tried not to get into it.  But it kind of gave me the wheelies.  AS ALL MY patients have been vax.

I came home and KR was home.  Early.  His last patient was suppose to be a crown, but ended up filling the access opening of ENDO.

Kurt actually went to the farmers market and got so much basil, I made pesto, all afternoon.  Naby came by for some carrots (we got like 29 bundles) and peppers. 

We walked Gracie and I ran a mile. 

KR cooked a steak and I made pesto noodles.  YUM  I dropped some off to Royale/Sarah

IT IS EDDIE'S 58th BIRTHDAY TODAY

Taking it easy Monday 7/19/2021

 So we took  Gracie up to the fire road.  She was HOT.  Came back and did a load of laundry.  Andrea and Maribel came to clean the house.  Always love it when they come.  KR went diving, or trying to.  I went for a ride at 10 40 to pick up shot glasses from Australia.  I cooked burgers and KR weed whacked.  The front and back were looking so so long and shaggy.

He took a nap and we went down to the beach to sort of walk Gracie.  She didn't want to walk much.

We also picked up water spinach, and pennywort from Daynah.  I made this yummy drink.

I delivered some to Sarah, walking/running there about a 14 30 pace.  So slow.  My hip was whinging a little.

Sunday

 We get up early and go walk Gracie before church.  Church is now at 10 so we have a little more time to goof off.  Pastor Paul is on Revelation, which I find rather boring, maybe I should read more about it so it WON"T be boring.

So Kurt goes back to Yeye's after we buy paper.  We go home and KR naps and drives down to Capistrano beach about 1 45.  I decide not to go.  

I went biking at 12 50, only for four miles.   Then I went for a run.  Grace had text me about some stuff in her garage of the house she is selling on Ave E.  I drove the van down and she didn't have anything I wanted.  There were some cabinets, but glass and heavy and hard to move, plus some cookbooks, and there is still too much junk in her garage.  I parked near Milne off of PV blvd and ran 2 miles, very slow, and HOT.

Then I went for another ride at 5 45 for only 4 miles.  

Went to bed about 9 and KR came home maybe 10 30.  I was ASLEEP

Saturday

 The coughing woke me up about 5.  I went down for some cough syrup and went back to sleep.  KR got up by 6 I didn't get up until 7 30.  We went to the beach to walk Gracie.  It got warm.  By the time we got back, KR realized that the Apologetic Conference was going on and he quickly drove down to beach.  Bill Johnson had text him that he was going.

We realized we gotta figure out the schedule for the next six weeks.  

KR goes to FM after the conference and got a LOT of brussels sprouts, which I gave some away to Naby, to Daynah and to Sarah.  I cooked three batches, and got a blister for cutting and chopping them.  Life of a chef is NOT for me.

KR had a shot at lunch and went took a long nap.  I don't like it when he resumes drinking.

We went down to the beach with Gracie.  She didn't want to walk much.  She is getting soft kibbles, with some boiled meat, like chicken or burger meat or whatever we have that is soft.  She no longer can eat hard food.  

KR decided they, Joost and he would go up August 5, Thursday, and be down the 7th, Saturday as it is Joost' anniversary the next day.  Don't know if Denise is going.  Then we have to decide when we are going up to see Eric Garcia for the scan

After we returned, he watered a bit and I put the BS's in the oven and we had dinner.  I was really hungry, and I just ate BS.  Wondering if I am still getting 'fat'.  The weigh is going up a little. 

KR weigh himself this morning 187  YIKES  I rode around the neighborhood this morning and then trying to distribute BS, need to go running tomorrow.

KR wants me to go down with him to SC to see Ed tomorrow.  I don't really wanna go, but......

Friday KR RETURNS

 So seems like I get eaten by moskies most nights and itch myself to pieces.  Last night had to take a benedryl again, they are biting my feet at night under the work desk.  

The blue birds are back to the nest again.  I think the baby or babies are hatched.

Jacky comes for his shot at 7.  

I went to Merit Street and picked up tupperware for Sarah.  This lady was moving to Havasu and gave away a large bag of the stuff, I barely got the bag on the back of my bike.  I dropped off at her house.  

I went to the pool and did a little swim and walk about.  I then went to PT and Jason was a little late, but it was ok because KR arrived back about 3 30  After he unloaded, I brought him home and he rested a little and then went back to church for debriefing and dinner.

IT IS NICE TO HAVE HIM HOME 

HAHAH  NO DRINKING NO VAPING FOR A WEEK !!!!

Then he is leaving again next Thursday

KR came back late, 9 30 after he dropped Bubba off, and brought back some yummy fried chicken, salad and potato salad

MORE work Thursday

 Got to office by 6 45 and Dr Sata was there doing notes.  I told her about the kid on Tuesday that had fillings that are falling out due to high plaque index and how I don't want to see those kids anymore if the mouths are full of food and debris

Work was fast and furious.  Mateo came with a HOT tooth and I could not numb him up, finally reached the pulp and it was completely necrotic and got the file down and send him home with the canal open, called Dr Kelliny's office and asked if I should leave open or close, he finally called back and said CLOSE, so I had the office call Mateo to come back in for a little IRM

Got home and was hot and then went for a ride to Aliza PH's house to drop off crocs from Sarah.

Went to eat dinner with the BIRTHDAY GIRL ADELE and Hana Pho in PV.  It was good.  Went to bed at 10 30  WAY TOO LATE

AHHH NO WORK Yipee

 Got up by 6 to feed the animals.  Did the laundry, and tried to clean before I gotta go to work tomorrow.  There is so much food, like all the stuff Naby brought over, and Sarah's food, the spring rolls I got last night were so good, that I ate two even though I already had dinner.  Gracie has been getting the turkey from the sandwiches Patty brought over two days ago.  She loves it.  She is back on Baytril

I did a load of laundry, the blanket and the quilt I got from the alley that I washed and used but decided not to use any more so washed again.  Vanessa wanted it.  I did another load of laundry washing the mat in front of the kitchen sink and the bathroom mats.

I shot at a squirrel but missed.  Gracie really went nuts

I walked Gracie down the block, towards the park. She did not want to go.

Seems like I just can't keep the house clean.  Got the mattress topper from James Sor and got rid of the extra mattress, but what to do with it?  No one seems to want it.

MORE working Tuesday 7/13/2021 Happy Birthday Adele

IT RAINED THIS MORNING, lightly but I had to use the wipers. 

So it was so so busy getting stuff together before going to work.  Seems like I have so much more to do than KR in the morning.  He feeds the animals and then it is YouTube time.  I got there by 7 45 and the schedule was just crazy busy, with all these kids with TERRIBLE decay.   I guess I see more of the adults and not the kids that have that kind of mouth.  Just drove me crazy.  Made me wanna cry and just slap the parents.  

DONT YOU CARE AND NOT BRUSHING YOUR KIDS MOUTHS ARE OK???

Anyway.  I went for run (2.4 miles at 13.49 per mile) and it was HOT. Rain stopped after only about a couple of minutes, it seems.

The afternoon, Tracy asked Angelica not to come.  We took care of the schedule, I guess.  Got home by 5 30 and took care of the animals and went to Costco to return the headphones, but the guy said he cannot find any records of me buying it looking back to 2011.  I don't think it is 10 years old.  I must check.

There was no moskies tonight, I washed my hair and went to sleep, according to my watch, by 11 PM.  SO LATE

WORKING Monday KURTIS IS 24 !!!!

I got 7 hours of sleep starting at 9 47 to 6 11 am

 Got up at 6 and did the animals.  It is going to be a HOT day  Also turned on the sprinklers to water.  Left and got to work by 7 45.  It was a very busy day.  I was depressed in the morning.  Seems like so many kids have such bad bad mouths.  Even saw one today that I could write my initials on the plaque on 8 / 9

I had time for a 30 minute short walk/run.  It was hot and I was sweating at the end.  I did 2.5 miles at 14 50 pace.  Pretty slow.  

Got home and saw a LOT of food from Patty Lopez.  They had a party and had left over sandwiches, roast beef and turkey.  Chuck brought over some tomatoes.  Sarah text and I got some korean BBQ.  Naby brought over some bread and rice and peppers cooked, and also got a large tub of macaroni salad from Patty.  SO MUCH STUFF

We went to Denny's BUT NO FREE GRAND SLAM

You have to have the app now.  Kurt said nah, and he had Taco Bell,.  I ate the left over sandwich.

Went to bed about 9 30.  VERY tired.

Sunday KR departs for Vista ROYAL FAMILY

 We get up early and take Gracie to the park, and only sees TWO s things.

AND TYLER calls for money.  KR gives in and gives him 1000, asked Kurt to Zelle him as he said he is having trouble with Venmo.  KR said he was not going to give money before, but stills gives money.

KR leaves early for church.  I take Yeye and Violet and Kurt, and listen to Kapena deliver the sermon.  It was pretty good !!!  After KR rides with Ed, some guy, to Vista.  We saw Jacob Bronaskey Tyler's friend, so weird that Jacob asked to pray for Tyler.

I start cleaning the garage.  Nate I on BNT wanted a carpet so I gave her the light green one.  I also dragged everything out and vacuumed and mopped the floors and cleaned and put things away.  Tried to get Kurt to help but not much help there.

I rode to Emy's to pick up hoisin sauce and bags for Sarah.  They came home from Carmel today.  I also went to Allyson's to pick up pink lemons and I made lemonade

Took a shower and set the alarm clock to wish Kurt a HAPPY BIRTHDAY tomorrow

I wrote him a funny card  

I got up at 11 59 and text to the sibs Happy Birthday Kurt and  they said  he is not even in the group so does not count

Saturday

 KR gets up early and takes Gracie down to the beach.  Said he shot a squirrel from our bedroom window and I never even moved.  Yup, I didn't even hear it.  I got up at 7.  He ate a little and loaded up the bikes and we parked at Bill's office and rode from Ave C to El Porto.  It was a little overcast but nice.

KR cooked a burger and took a nap.  I went over to Yeye's and planted two plants in the inner patio, and dropped off the bottles at NH.  Saw Ellen who was cleaning the stuff and packing it all in her car.  Said the movers were coming and she is taking all that she can and will hopefully get a garage sale and get rid of stuff.

So on the way to pick up Violet and Yeye, Kurt looks at the menu for San Franciscan and says, "oops, " they are closed for this week.  So we or Kurt decided to go to Sue's Kitchen.  OH WOW  We have not  been there  for over a year and half.  Never even  gotten take out from there.

Total bill  66.90  We leave 10 dollars tip.

Food was great, two boxes of take out one for us and one for Violet

PT and waiting on the phone Friday

 Whenever KR has to work, he sleeps later than I.  So I was up and out and ready for PT at 7.  Came home and the laundry was done.  Went down to Subway to order the wrap platter for BCO PT crew.  The only one at Knob Hill takes EBT and I used Dad's as it had a bunch of money.  I also stopped at Ralphs for cereal and hot pickles and milk.

Came home and called IHSS, OF COURSE it was at least a 30 minute wait to talk to someone and I forgot to ask about a CHINESE provider.  Man  He also said that I had been a provider already, since 2013, and they got my paperwork, the one with my license and SS card, so now I just need to do LiveScan and then watch the video.  He sent me the video and I watched it AGAIN, and printed out the form and mailed it in.

So hopefully I will be able to be a provider and then get more hours and then hire someone.

I went down to LiveScan and the other lady, not the Asian one, took a bit of time to get it done right.  The Asian lady is so quick, she never needs a redo.  I rode my bike down there

KR came home and went immediately to KHC for the group dinner.  Said it was pizza and salad or something.  He came home and had THREE glasses of wine.  I try not to talk to him when he drinks.  He gets 'short' and 'mean'

MORE working Thursday

 It is a 6 45 start and I prep for EMax crown #19.  The day was fast and furious.  Andrea Vasquez our intern or extern is very helpful.

I leave probably about 1 30 and go straight to the pool  KR text that Denise will be by between 2 - 3 and that means more like 3.  I got home about 2 50 and she just pulled up.  I had a nice walk about and jacuzzi at the pool  It was a bit cloudy, but not cold

KR and I go to the beach to walk Gracie.  Saw a few gophers.  She was happy.  I cooked fried chicken with the brisket fat from Adele and then country potatoes, and KR liked it very much. 

Kurt was goofing most day.  I don't know

WORKING WEDNESDAY 7-7-2021 HAPPY birthday Alan

 I got up early, well, not as early as KR.  He went surfing and I went to work.  Got there by 7 45 and had office meeting at 9 - 11.  Marc came as well.  It was a good meeting.  I put on my hearing aid so I heard better.

Then it was fast and furious.  So many charts need clearing up.  Ernesto Meno needed ortho consult, but Megha didn't put it down in December, and Melissa forgot to tell Tracy.  She did tell the parents.

I went for a walk about at lunch, two miles.  Very slow too.  It was kind of hot but I was very slow so I didn't sweat much.  

Afternoon lasted until almost 6, took me a bit to finish the charting.  

Came home and KR cooked the fish and I had some of Chuck's homemade salsa and went to bed by 8 30

No work Tuesday

 KR got up early to go surfing.  Today's is Alan's birthday.  Kurt didn't get up until late.  He went to Darren Ding's on fourth, and just stayed home yesterday.  I rode to drop off some sandals, and KR brought most of Rita's plants back from her patio.  I posted them to give way.  Some got picked up by noon.

Not much to eat from Farmer's Market.  I cooked chicken for Gracie with an old head of cabbage, and did some yoga outside, after I swept the outside patio.

After KR's nap, we went down to the beach.  Gracie hardly wanted to walk   We made it two blocks I think.  Came home and KR had a sandwich, from the meat Sarah gave us, and soup too for dinner. 

Most of the plants were picked up today.

I went to bed thinking of the LONG work day tomorrow

Monday - July 5, Bike ride

 Another legal holiday, because today is Monday and the Fourth happened on a Sunday.  I don't get it, but most people were off, and all the banks closed, etc.

KR went surfing and I got up later than he, of course.

I see him on find your friend app that he was at Ralphs, but maybe he was just there peeing.  He said he didn't drink.  I should not worry about him drinking.

We went on a VERY nice bike ride, Ave C to El Porto.  I only got a little tired towards the end.  Hip did not hurt.  After we came home I went to the pool and jacuzzi, a little walk about and the jacuzzi, to loosen the joints.  There were at least 7 people there.

KR took a nap after several beers.

We went to Adele's for BBQ and they made really really yummy brisket.  There were lots of people there.  We ate and talked a little and came home.  

Patty and Mike came over and dropped off the stuff that Lovely had Forrest bring back for us. Lots of tea and stuff, and we chatted and went to bed.

July 4th, 2021 HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA

 Day dawns clear and KR goes surfing.  I do the laundry.  We go to church.  

CHURCH is now 10 am and all together no masks !!!  Seems so weird to go to church without masks.

We come home and I go get food from Sarah.  They are going to San Clemente for a week, time share.  I drop some food off at Violet and Yeye.  I go ride around to pick up mugs for Harbor Rock and dropped three off.  I got 7 but I am keeping the chicken Lenox ones.  

KR and I go down to the village and there is a band stand on Ave I with three bands playing throughout the day.  There were lots and lots of people.  The pup was tired.

We come home and have more left over for dinner.

We drove down to the  mall parking lot thinking we can go up on the roof, then we tried the corner lot by 7-11 we finally went to the Coleman driveway and had a great show.  20 minutes with a 1 minute finale.  

We went to bed by 9 45

My 5K RACE

 I have not run a 5K since the virtual 'turkey trot'.

KR went surfing, although he later said no go.

I drove down to the village and saw Mike.  We were off, with me shuffling, and him finishing under 25, and me finishing under 45.  I prayed to Jesus and played Rocky's theme song. 

Came home and I went to the pool/jacuzzi.  It really helped to walk about in the pool and two jacuzzi sessions later.  I am not sore.  The hip was a little wingy at the end, but no real pain.

We went to FM and got a lot of okra.  I am giving them all out.  Naby came by for some, and some lemon meringue pie.  I dropped some off for Daynah too

I picked up a black chair for Kurt and gave away his pink chair.  Much better in his room

Kurt slept all afternoon.  Then he went out with friends to Hermosa

Most of the okra got picked up.  I got some soup from Sarah.  Talked to Violet about August schedule.  She is having some medical procedure\

I tried doing a backup but can't find my external hard drive.  I then plugged another one in and realized it was Kurt's.  He says it was, so I am still looking for mine.

Group Dinner Friday 7/2/2021

 KR got up early and left for surfing.  I had podiatrist appt with Dr Feit at 8 30.  He came back and took Gracie for a walk down at beach.  I got my feet imprinted.  He says they would be ready in four weeks

Kurt came back.

Maryanne came over with Jacky and I gave him the shot.  I also cooked a steak for KR.  I left at 11 to go order food but realized that I won't have time before PT so I went after PT.  I also drove down to the Village Runner and got my number 706 and bought a pair of shoes.  A hundred bucks.

After PT I came home to look for an El Pollo Loco coupon.  NO GO.  Brian came over.  

I went and ordered food from El Pollo, just the 14 piece chicken with two sides.

Cindy and Tony were the first ones here for dinner.  It was a great success.  

Doug and Shirley came by and they had some dinner.

Food was: fried chicken, el pollo loco chicken, vege chili, broccoli bites, cheese biscuit, watermelon, salad, salad, cheese and crackers with olives, spaghetti with sauce, tres leche cake, apple pie, assortment of pastries, corn cake, sodas, margarita with tequila, and no one touched the iced tea.

Work Day Thursday

 Whenever I have to work, I always seem to get up earlier than KR.  Today was no exception.  I was out the door a little late, like 6 37.  I got there and asked Tracy, "what can I do to help?"  She still seems a little miffed regarding me not following her direction on Tuesday.

Guess we will have to see what is up with what next week.

Lisa Takiyama was there with her students in rooms 1, 2 and it was a lot of traffic.  They needed to do anesthesia so we are I guess 'renting out' two rooms to them.

My first patient, Tiarra Joseph, the temporary would not come off.  I could not even drill it off.  It had completely bonded to the tooth.  I tried grinding and trying and no go.  KR was there doing a RCT on Mateo and he suggested pizeo, and that didn't work either. It took me so so long.  He also did a filling and took out #16 on Miquel.  I cemented 14, prepped 29 and reprep 18 and sent to lab.  I got done about 1 15 and had to go to El Super for the food, desserts for  tomorrow dinner.

Came home and rested a little and went to the lab.  Dr Gimlen called me from her ortho office about Mylie, one of my patients who has a bilateral spacer that was loose and on there too too long.

Jaclyn met me there at lab to get her PLD tightened.

I signed the lab slip for Louie to do a stayplate for free on this vet.

Came home and we had dinner, left over.

I was in bed at 10, way later than KR
