Sunday Church and Steve's Greasy Food

 KR and James went to walk Angel.  I stayed home and went to mom;'s to bring Mom B some coffee and clean the ants.   Then I went for a ride about 6 miles.  Nothing to be had in the alleys.  I also picked up the jacket for Steven Rushton.  KR had host and went early  We brought Angel and I came out to the car at about 10 30

We came home but KR stayed for Q & A, with Abby.  Alan and Mom B came over for lunch.  Vegetable soup and ribs and nan from Sarah

Then KR came home with Abby and ate.  I went over to the garage and spent the next three hours cleaning   Alan and I took almost everything out and then swept and cleaned and put them back up.  Jon Liu came by to chat.  His car was at Madrona Car Wash  KR came by and hung up the bikes.  Will and Diamond said that they were coming at 5.  I said no, we are going to dinner.  Well, they said maybe 7 but then said later, I said NO so they are coming tomorrow at 7

We went to Steve's Burgers for a yummy dinner.  The pastrami was very good.  I had fried chicken.  James had a burger and then fish too  Mom and Alan had burgers and Abby had breakfast burrito

We came home and James and KR watched HIGH SCHOOL soft ball.  Oh man

We went to bed by 9  

Alan comes up and NEW HORIZON concert

 KR and James went to the beach to walk Angel

I didn't have to go to Diamond Bar  Alan says he will stop in Irvine to meet with Helen and get it.  She is the wife of the pastor they just got in Taiwan.  His name is James

I was getting ready to go to Diamond Bar

KR finished the paving stones pathway and it look really nice.  I cleaned the chicken coop and sweep all kinds of stuff

We went to FM and got a LOT OF CORN

We then went to NH for the Neil Diamond concert.  This guy sang for almost two hours and was pretty good.  There was food and dancing.  KR and I even danced  He even danced with some of the ladies up there

We went to BLACK BEAR DINER

SO good, Prime Rib dinners almost all around.  Alan had tri-tip and James had pot roast  Mom B had prime rib too.  Abby didn't come up until later.  Paige drove her up

EASY FRIDAY

 James had some phone calls to make so KR and I walked Angel down the beach.

I proceeded to clean the garage and put some stuff away over there.  Alan text me that Alden would like mom and he and Abby to come up tomorrow so Gina can decompress a bit as she is coming back tomorrow and handling Darrin's funeral etc must not be easy.

So I need to clean the patio and do some stuff over there tomorrow then.  KR started on the pathway in the back yard after he picked up bricks from Patty.  It will look very nice when he is done

I cooked the short ribs for lunch for him

Kurt had school work and no work and it is the last day of school for him

KR went to church for TREK and James went to walk Angel

I went to bed pretty early, but KR came home and spoke with me just a little and I went back to sleep

Working Thursday

 Seems like I always get up early on Thursday when I know I  have to work.  5 30 or so  and I  am awake.  Got to work and  Maribel is not there.  Her brother is in the hospital.  With sepsis and got admitted.  They have gone through so much. 

It was kind of slow and that is good as no extern and I got done at 12 30

Went to El Super and bought food for this lady name Veronique Contreas who needed food she said  I spent almost 60 dollars but she diidn't get that much.  I got her chicken and milk and a lot of can food from our pantry that we were not eating.  She also got ground beef and soup and stuff

I went for a ride and then walked Fire Trail with KR and Angel

Went out to dinner with the Crookstons

Wednesday

 A more relaxing day.

We went to the beach to walk the dog

Then KR rested while I went to PT.  It was Selena today.  She got my back spasm to go away  It was so funny i said Will you come home with me?  

She replied, oh my we should have dinner first

SHE WAS SO FUNNY

Then KR took Matthew and Bubba to the beach with Donna and the crew

James came back and took a nap

I gave away the Technic Electric Piano and Charity came and gave me a bunch of pate cat food and MiniMoo demonstrated that she REALLY LIKED pate.  HAHAHA  She would not eat that before

James and KR went to the fire road and walked Angel

More Laundry Tuesday

 But hey, that is ok.  We went to the beach to walk Angel.  I picked up the comforter, king size real nice feathers but there is a hole in the corner.  I patched it up and it is good as new.  I washed it.  And patched up the hole in the corner.  It was an easy job.  I guess someone didn't want it because of the 4 in tear.  It is a really nice Pottery Barn one  The twin is 204 dollars.  OH MAN

So KR tried going diving again and I stayed home.  They went to FM after he came back and only got a little bit of food for the chicken.  The fat guy was not there

Kurt took a nap and went to work at 5

I went to chiro at 2 and saw Chris

It is nice not to have to work much.  Just Thursday this week

I am working for Dr Desai in August, Maribel called today

KR had steak and salad.  He went to Sams and BOUGHT A LOT OF STUFF  Seems like he is like any other man.  CANNOT send them to grocery store.  At least he returned the sarah wrap that keeps messing up.  I will just use the stuff from Costco

Lots of laundry Monday

 So James and KR walk Angel and I do lots of laundry.  TWO loads and then washed my car with the soap water and then water the fig tree with the rinse water and then VACUUM the garage, and running things over to the other garage and water the plants over at mom's

James goes down south and KR goes diving.  BUT it was a really hard dive  Too much kelp

Jason Buck comes over to buy honey.  I go on a bike ride to Emy's to get the toothbrushes.  

I also went to Jack in the Box for some food for Kayla, this girl that keeps asking for food on FB and I feels sorry for her.  They went to Harbor General and were walking back from there to 238/Cabrillo.  About an hour walk.  I guess that is what people do when they don't have money

We had steak for dinner plus salad of course  I cooked it on the BBQ  so much easier than stove top

Church Sunday

 So KR went surfing and James went to walk Angel to the  park.  I didn't get up until 7 and puttered around

KR had host so we went to church and Alan and Mom were late as they were eating at Denny's but it was nice to see Alan and mom at church.  I guess she has not been   physically in church for two  and a half years.

We came home and  there were LOTS of  sandwiches  from Sarah,  Alan cleaned the condo and went down to San Diego and they all went out to see a movie   TOP GUN

KR and James went to walk Angel.  I went bike riding and took a little fall and my left knee hurts.  Scraped my right shin too

We had left over Sarah food and Kurt went out to see friends in Hermosa and didn't get back until 2 30 AM

Da SAMOAN party

 So KR went to check the surf and  James went to get gas and I still have a sore throat and did another covid test still negative.  I also did laundry and bought potato salad and dip for the party. 

Kurt went to work.  10 - 2  He will come to the park right after work  KR made the fruit salad, watermelon and cantaloupe  We  left about noon and got there before  Alan or  Alden.  We were the first of the purple 

WHAT A PARTY

There were so many Alagata's and some had even silk screened t shirts.  THE FOOD  OH MAN

There was a taco truck with three kinds of meats and then fried chicken and Chinese food and desserts and fruit BUT NO GREEN SALAD  HAHAHA  Macaroni salad and potato salad and rice and taro and big people eating

THERE WERE GAMES  so many games, I won the watermelon eating contest with Matt, Hailey's husband to be.  Paige was VERY slow in the potato sack race.  Kurt showed up about 3 30  Paige and Abby and Hailey and baby and Matt showed up about 3 20.  They were so so late.  However the eating went on for hours.  Water balloon fight, tug of war, we were too tired and was home by 5 after stopping at Will's to pick up my phone (with crack screen) and very greasy.  Oh man Will cannot take care of things I guess

I napped for over an hour.  I was so tired KR and I laid down and I slept like there was no tomorrow

Kurt got home about 7 

Sarah had dropped off a lot of soup and sandwiches.  We have so much food

Then I went to bed at 8 45 and slept until 7 this morning.  THAT IS A LOT OF SLEEP

Friday

 So I still have the sore throat but the COVID test is negative.  James and KR went walking Angel and I stayed home.  I cleaned a bit and threw away a lot of paperwork.  Filed some stuff and wrote Jeff Lykins a letter.  I also bought some stuff from the Commissary for him, like chips and stuff.  I think he would like it.  The poor guy has been there for years and is coming up for parole this coming up January

I rode around  Nothing to be seen.  I ran 1.36 miles.  Knee and hip hurts  Alan said that he and mom are leaving around 2 to the condo.  I parked the car in the garage and James went to see Joy Beckman but he was late.  He took the car out and then left it out again.  Dang that boy

KR went for a bike ride by himself and sold some honey to Michelle Deland 60 dollars worty\h

I had PT at 3 and they made me exercise for half hour before I saw Selena.  I liked her but I did not like the half hour of stretching.  I rode back and James and KR went out already with Angel.

Alan and Mom B arrived arrived at 5 40 and they rested a bit before coming over for dinner of chicken curry and fish stew

KR went to a NA meeting with Steve Vargas.  Guess he is clean and sober now and reaching out to do things

Kurt went to Taylor's birthday party

Thursday and a slow work day

 But I still didn't get done until 1 15

So I was there at 6 45.  Today is Dr John  Rodgers' last day.  I don't know why but his personality really bugged me.  

I stopped at El Super and bought 68.51 worth of food.  Came home and put things away and Kurt was gone to the beach surfing and he kind of rescued a guy from Arizona that was boogie boarding and going out too far

I rode around but when I went back for the knee scooter, someone had picked it up

I ran maybe a mile

James and KR went to walk Angel

KR made curry chicken.

We had Bible Study  Warren and Dan kind of got into it about having some time to fellowship, not just learn about the Bible.  I see a revolt coming  Dan just wanna be the teacher and Warren and Sharon have their own ideas too

HOME Wednesday Eddie's 59th birthday

 I missed it by a minute

KR and James went to walk Angel and I stayed to clean the Serenity Garden.  Someone had knocked over all my decorations and I put some of Mom B's stuff out there like the mushrooms and frogs.  

KR went surfing and I did a whole bunch of stuff around here like taking the materials that Mom B gave me to the garage and put her bed spread on the big bed over there and posting her Seven Dwarfs/gnomes and her toaster oven went to Sarah and we got more fish stew

Kurt worked 10 - 3 at Walgreen's

James took the van to Honda and tried to get the door upholstery fixed but Honda says they don't do that, can sell me a whole new door panel   I DON"T THINK SO

I cooked pork ribs on the grill and James cooked purple cauliflower

We told him to pick up a shift at the beach

After KR napped, we walked Fire Trail but Angel would not come back and KR had to go get her and smack her a bit.

I went to bed early.  Got work tomorrow

Tuesday Off to San Diego

 So KR got up really early and went golfing with Alan.  Turns out Larry went too and KR beat them all  What a guy  I went to PT with Dalton and rode back and ran about two miles.  Hip is feeling a little better after his manipulation and I was able to complete two miles without having to stop and stretch.

Alan packed up everything and brought Abby and stuff to go down, back with van.  But Abby stayed there doing laundry or something.  James went to Social Security after we left to apply for Medicare. He said it was no big deal and they will contact him soon.

So after golf, they ate and we waited for Abby .....  and waited....   FINALLY we drove over there, I guess Abby is the one even LATER than Kurt

We left with KR's car completely packed of stuff for the other Alagata's  The traffic was not bad at all.  I was getting a little car sick sitting in the back with Abby.  

We got there and it was 100 outside.  VERY HOT  The house is in a cul de sac in El Cajon and they remodeled the garage into a small one bedroom unit for Hailey and Matt and the baby.  I guess they can rent that out later or something when Grandma Bea is gone.  She looks great and is moving pretty well.  She has the biggest room and there are still boxes and boxes in Alden's room that they have not packed

ALDEN IS FAT

Well, I mean he has gained quite a bit of weigh.  Gina is still in Hawaii taking care of Darrin's remain and cremation things and Debbie, Albert's ex wife went to be with her in the Big Island

We went to the famous DOG BEACH and while we were trying, or me actually, trying to find a hotel, KR decided just to go to Ralphs for some sushi and a sandwich and drive home  SO WE DID

He drove  ALOT in one day.  We also brought back some ceramics from Mom B and sewing stuff and three t v trays and a toaster oven that we gave to Sarah.

KR washed the dog

Kurt and James went to Ortega 120 for Taco Tuesday.  They got home just after we did.

Monday 7/18/2022

 KR was up early as usual  He and James went to the beach to walk Angel.  The cleaning ladies came and I was trying to get everything and everyone ready for them.  James decided to film at NH with Abby and did not go down to Orange County.  Alan went to Social Security office to get another card as he cannot find his original one

We finally had some left over for lunch.

Sometimes James is so uncool when he eats, I wonder if I should say anything to him. 

KR finally came home and I went for a run.  I tried to go THREE miles, just 3 and I could NOT  MY HIP WAS HURTING me.  Don't know why running a little bit is just too hard.  I had to stop and stretch, the pain in the groin area was not too happening.

I also road around but didn't find anything good.  

Kurt took Abby to the beach and he surfed a little

KR and James also took Angel to the park and we then went to the San Franciscan for PRIME RIB

Oh man it was so much food.  KR ordered NEW YORK and he said it was not as good as the PR.  I didn't order anything.   James ordered LIVER  REALLY???

I didn't go to bed until about 9 45.  KR went to bed at 8 45  He has a 6 30 T time tomorrow  at Alondra Golf with Alan

SO MUCH FUN

WHAT a SUNDAY

 So it is so jammed packed today.

KR and James walk the dog and I go running by myself.  I just knew it was gonna be too busy for me to exercise properly.  AND I was right

We all leave with the van to ARMED church at 10  We find shade for  Angel and the church is STILL requiring masks.  James wants to go in without and I tried to keep yanking him back and telling him PUT A MASK ON.  It does NOT matter what your thoughts are, but be RESPECTFUL and wear one  ABOVE YOUR NOSE TOO!!!!

Dang that bro

The service was very very good and I go check the  mutt once.  Kurt even went up to ask for prayer with Pastor Thrash.  They must like us because when the altar call came for going forward for prayers Pastor Thrash came down to pray with Kurt.

We then took the whole Johnson family and had lunch at Chipotle.  James paid the bill of about 200 dollars.  THEN Larry says that we have to have a powwow at OUR house and they were coming over.  Larry and Diamond and Will came and we had an 1 1/2 hour talk about their finances and how they have to move and they don't have a place and all that.   OH MAN

I Venmo Will 300 bucks of loan

They leave and I tried to walk Angel.  She didn't get to Nancy Lim's house before she refused.  We took her to Pastor Paul's house for BBQ.  We all went.  There was ALOT of food and desserts.  We had a great time

When we came out to go home, Angel had GOTTEN OUT OF THE VAN and the people next door to Paul and Jen had corraled her.  SHE ESCAPED AGAIN

We came home and went to bed.  I WAS TIRED

Saturday

 It is suppose to be a relaxing day and it was MOSTLY

KR and James went to walk Angel and I stayed home.  I am trying to put things away and clean.  Always so much stuff.  I didn't go because I had to go to office to pick up SIM card for Alan.  Rebekah had one that she is not using and I got it.  Camila said something about the freeway Sepulveda exit is closed and everyone is late

Alan and Abby went to play tennis at Wilson Park.  They came over for lunch.  I cooked noodles and used the soup from Sarah and Abby loved it.  I made a BLT for Alan.  KR went surfing and came back about 3  I cooked some shrimp for him the Chinese walnut shrimp without the sauce and some rice too he had and the watermelon  He took a nap and walked Angel.  I went for a short run.  My hip still hurts.  

Kurt was a poop today.  I tried to get him up to go to FM early and he just won't get up.  So when Alan came by and asked where everyone was I said he was still in bed when he was in the bathroom.  He threw a fit about making the FM run MY chore that fell on them.  I told KR he is so ungrateful that he should find a roommate and live somewhere else.

I also went for a bike ride.

James went to Cheesecake Factory and bought a large cake and when he got home, he went with me to the FM.  Lots of people there. 

Alan and Abby went to Big Five to check out shoes, and came back for dinner here.  I bought more stuff from Ralphs, like juice and meat for sandwiches

Friday and only two patients

 I was suppose to work three but...

I went to PT at 7 30 but they said I didn't make an appt.  I KNOW I did but I just came home

Gina's brother Darrin died in Hawaii, supposedly of heatstroke.  Alden text me that he needed to speak with Alan and I heard from Lovely that Gina is on her way to Hawaii and that Darrin had a heatstroke and was in a coma and died.  I just cannot believe it

I went to see Chris Bruno at 9 30 and Rocky Luiggi was suppose to show up at 10 30 and he didn't come and didn't call.  I don't think I am going to reappoint.  I came home and stopped at the NH golf course.  Fred and Alan and KR were playing golf. T hey are so so funny.  They had a great time.  They then went to lunch without Kurt.  He was working.  

I went back to work and saw Faye  They came back to nap and Mimi and Violet came and they were at the Brew Hall and had some beer and wings and we sat and talked and we ALL went to the fire road.  Even Kurt.  They took the high road and Violet and I took the low road.

We then went to Scardino for dinner.  It was MEGAfood and so so good.  We ate so many entrees PLUS a pizza and many desserts.  We did bring home a third of pizza and some other pastas.

Tomorrow is eating at home day

Working Thursday and POZOLE

 So I was tired but still got up to work getting there by 6 45  It was NOT that busy BUT I had these huge cases.  Very large composites that I had to polish and get NICE.  Destiny 30 OL, Jorje, DOB 3, and the largest one Jefferson Hunter a complete fracture of incisal third of 8.  I did a chairside veneer side of thing

Got off at 12 and went to get pozole  Alan went to DMV and got his license renewed and they were going to go out, but I brought the pozole home and they all ate it.

KR had a board meeting at Valor and he ate the rest of the food when he got home.  They all took naps and I went to pick up dress from Emy.

Abby and I went for a ride and then they went for a walk to the fire road.  Abby and James and KR.  Kurt went to work 10 - 3 and I stayed home.

We had shawarma for dinner from La Zeez  VERY GOOD  Alan and James all loved the food 

We did have one plate of left over

KR had a conference call with the other two fathers, Larry Johnson, Ashton's father and someone else I can't remember.  They wanted their children to be more GODLY, oh yes

Wednesday and NO WORK, Alan and Abby arrive

 So my neck is a bit sore, must have sleep on it wrong.  KR and James went to walk Angel and I went to shop for Alan and Abby.  I got juice, and soda and chips and yogurt and all kind of stuff.  I bleached the toilets and placed water in the frig,  I came home and they got home.  

James made salad for lunch and KR had the rest of the zucchini pizza and I had a bite.  

KR IS LESS THAN 180 for about a week.  No drinking beer is helping him loose a little weigh.  They both took a  nap and I did a lot of paperwork

So after dinner I decided to go to airport.  Alan arrives at 8 40 and Abby arrives at 8 but Abby has to go through immigration and that takes forever.  Plus she says it took forever to get OFF the plane.  I get to the airport too early and wait at Arrival Terminal 1 as the traffic was not bad getting to the airport but once you got into the Arrival, it was SO SO BAD.

I actually saw Abby walking from Bradley to United and pulled over and got her.  Then we got Alan and got back here about 10 15.  They saw the kitchen and the cats and dog and Kurt and James and I drove them home and went to bed

Tuesday KURT'S 25th Birthday

 So we were up early and I tried to get the  Happy Birthday sign up but we cannot figure out how  so I  got  the Blues Clues  HB sign out and hung it up on the lights in the kitchen.  I also hung the PURPLE fringes onto Kurt's door  He liked the stuff.  KR also made a small card for him

I did the laundry, changing the sheets and rode the bike to PT with Dalton.  He really worked my hip.  I rode back and KR had just  gotten back.

James had some presentation in Anaheim and was back by lunch

KR and I went to FM and we got a LOT of food, pounds of tomatoes, and good beets and good asparagus and leeks and Lovely carrots.  We kept some carrots and asparagus and brussel sprouts.  James made some asparagus

KR and James went to walk Angel and I  ran almost 2 miles

We had left over zucchini pizza for dinner

Kurt went out with friends to San Pedro and brought fire works and lit some off.  I think he was home before 12 30

LONG and LAST Work Day for Dr Sata Monday

 I  got to office 7 40 and Tracy on vacation.   It was  not a too bad day.  Dr John Rodgers our extern drives me nuts a bit.  Don't know why.   I  think he is too slow and talks too much  I  bought lunch for everyone at Wild Wings.  It was delicious  I walked/ran 2.7 miles at almost 16 min pace.  VERY SLOW

Got done and came home.  James only went to Anaheim so he came home today.  Tomorrow he is going to Lake Forest and staying at the hotel

KR made zucchini crust pizza and it was really really good.  I was so tired but now it is 9 20 and I am still up.

Sakhi across the street brought us a lot of food  They are going to Hawaii for two weeks tomorrow.  WOW  We are the King of Free Food.  Chuck also brought us a whole bag of LBJ chips

I was asleep  at 9 53 and got up at 6 17

Sunday

 So James thought it was Monday and was ready to go to work

I convinced him to try the hearing aid so we don't have to shout at him

Kurt actually went surfing after KR called him to come down.

I walked Angel to the park and the gate to Hickory in the front was open so I ran her off leash for a bit  It was a total of 2.46 miles 

We all went to church  I sat outside with Angel after the worship and listened to the sermon on my phone.  It was a warm day and she does not like to be hot in the car.  I don't mind sitting outside  I can hear better too

They all took a nap and then James and KR went walking up to Fire Road with Angel  I stayed home.  I went on a bike ride about 6 miles when they napped

We went to Lazy Dog to eat.  I tried to see if we can make reservation at BJ that has PRIME rib.  In the afternoon on my ride I went to San Franciscan but they were closed for vacation until tomorrow.  So no PR  We celebrated Kurt's birthday and I gave him a Fitbit watch and he liked it  I also gave him a jump rope and a wallet.  His watch band had just died

I also went to mom's to check on the condo and to water a little

I was asleep by 8 45 getting ready for work tomorrow

Saturday

 Well my back is a little better today

KR 'woke' me up and then went walking at the beach  with Angel.  Pam came and we had a nice coffee for well over an hour.  When we got back, KR and Kurt had gone to FM and picked up a bunch of stuff, mostly corn for the girls and just compost. 

We went for a nice bike ride from Ave C to El Porto.  The AVP volleyball was going on in Hermosa so we got a little 'freebies'.  Eight (8) to be exact).  It was a nice day and a nice ride

We are running out of cat food.  Chewy will not deliver until next week so I went to Petsmart

KR did the sprinkler at the YMCA Miguel lot and he had to buy a part from Home Depot

I could not eat dinner, was not hungry

Nyssa came over and brought some home grown kale and shredded zuks  Penny had a great time feeding the chicken

Kurt slept part of afternoon

I picked up 8 covid tests for Maribel

FRIDAY and it is DAY OFF SHINZO ABE PM of Japan assassinated

 Yipee So I slept in until 6 46 while KR took Angel to the beach for a walk.

I saw on FB that Ken Blakely had posted something about Japan but I could not understand so I checked.  This nut killed Shinzo Abe that was campaigning with a home made gun.  What a sad day.  Lovely says that Asia is in an uproar.  There is hardly any gun violence in Japan as guns are severely regulated.

I guess if there is a will there is a way?

I did laundry and my back is sore, more like muscle spasms.

KR went to Costco and then to Sams

AND ANOTHER day of work

 So it is the 6 45 AM day and at least I knew who was my first patient, she is getting braces tomorrow so I had to finish her work before she gets them on

It was kind of slow and we did more cleaning and I was done by 1 and came home.  I was going to go sleep at the pool but i slept outside instead and then napped inside except Angel woke me by jumping on me.  KR took her to go walk and I biked around a bit and KR and I went back to pick up this beautiful mirror.

Plus a Christmas tree

I cooked a lot of brussel sprouts and the yellow tail and had fish and sprouts for dinner

THEN BIBLE STUDY

We debated on the length of days  24 hours???

Tomorrow off  

Carole text me her tooth is hurting a little and she went and saw Camila for an x ray

If i successfully work Monday it would be 35 hours a week.  HAVE NOT WORKED A FULL week like that for over 29 years

I AM TIRED OF WORKING  My Back and neck

I slept a little and Angel woke me up  when KR finished his nap.  They went for a walk and I stayed home. 

We went to Bible Study and Warren made some work sheet and I thought Daniel our leader was going to have a fit.  KR also loaned the other Daniel our bee stuff.  Daniel has three bee hives in his front yard.  Good luck on working his bees.

I would not wanna be his neighbor when he is doing that

We got home and I took a shower and went to bed

ANOTHER long work day Wednesday

 So I am working Tuesday Wednesday AND THURSDAY this week

I am tired

Got there on time and one pt already in the chair

She is 30 and I had a hard time getting her numb.  Thought the mental jab would be ok but no  Should have done the IA

Then it was one after another.  I had muscle spasm in my back

Lunch I went to El Super to buy some food

Did a little walking

Left by 5 15 there by 7 45 so long long day

Got home and went to jacuzzi for 15 min

KR came home with Angel  He had appt with Chris Bruno today and then lunch with John Crookston.

My back spasms in the mid and upper back

LONG work day

 So KR went surfing, James took Angel for a walk and I went to work, and Kurt also got called into work at the beach too.

It was a long day.  Half of the patients didnt show.  We did a lot of cleaning.  Organized the whole kitchen area. Did more bags of toothbrushes for the kids and adults.  Cleaned out burs and stuff

I went for a walk thinking I have time to go to El Super to get something to eat.  Nope  I was too too slow.  My back was starting to have muscle spasm.  Not pain, but this I gotta stretch feeling.   GEEZ

I walked 4.19 miles at lunch

Got off about 5 and went to the jacuzzi and sat for 15 min then shower and came back.  James and KR went for a walk with Angel

KR had cooked the ox tail and James made a salad and we had a great dinner.

He is going to go down to Orange County tomorrow

What a funny family

HAPPY fourth of July

 Monday  I am a little sore, my back next to the kidney area is bothering me.  KR went surfing and Andrea and Maribel came to clean.  We went to the NH bbq and KR and Kurt ate two dogs each, I had one and James ate some watermelon  There were a lot of people and the dogs price went up to three dollars.  It was two before, Kurt brought a 12 pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon.  He offered one to all the cooks and the band.  Nice kid

KR and Kurt went on a bike ride.  Said the beaches were packed but not that many people on the bike path/strand

He slept most afternoon.  

KR went to Fire Road with James.  I ran two miles at home.  I didn't wanna go walking.  I also rode the alleys.  Found a beautiful 'princess' dress. Listed on BNT  Donna dropped off some gloves and hand sanitizer that I will bring to office

I defrosted two rib eye steaks and cooked them on the BBQ and I also cooked the green beans Chuck gave us and along with the asparagus, it was a great dinner  I didn't eat much but one rib bone

We went down to 7 11 to watch the fire works.  It was suppose to start at 9 but the city of Torrance didn't start until 9 30.  It was a virtual parking lot in 7 11.  I just don't like firework as much as KR.  Only the three of us went.  James went to bed so Angel stayed home

Village Runner 5K Sunday

 So I was up and started Kurts laundry.  James is going to meet with Mimi and Violet so he didn't go to church.  KR went surfing early and I went down to the Riviera 5K.  

The run was hard hard and hard.  My hip was whinging me.  I started at 7 45 when the real racing people were at 8.  I had to stop a few times to stretch my hip.  Calene won again, with a time of 16 57.  So fast she is.  I went to the jacuzzi and sat for 15 to loosen the old joints.

KR had host so he left first.  Kurt and I went and we took Angel and locked her in KR's car.  Well, half an hour in, she wiggled out of the window and came running down.  I went out there and sat and listened to Elder Jason's msg in the car.  It was NOT that hot but she was just out of sort.

After James met with Mimi and Violet he went to visit some friends in Glendora.  We came home and I grilled the asparagus we got yesterday.  They were very good.  KR did some yard work and I cleaned the front door.  Charity came and brought some snacks.  Well, a lot of snacks.  Apple sauce, crackers, cookies, and the Kila dropped off some Hawaiian cookies.  I gave her the coconut purse.  I think I got that from Grace across the street.

I did a bunch of stretching and went to bed

Saturday July 2, 2022

 Today dawns nice and warm, like most July in So Cal

KR take Angel to the beach and I do sheets and cook and stuff.  He comes back and we go for a long bike ride.  From Ave C to El Porto and there were not that many people.  Considering this IS FOURTH of July Weekend, the strand was not that crowded.  AND THERE WERE NO FREEBIES.  At either Hermosa Pier nor Manhattan Pier.  We were bummed.

We also went to the FM and got a LOT of asparagus and some lettuce and two watermelon.  I got one going and it was not too sweet but I made smoothie with it.

HOWEVER, on the way home, we passed by church on Knob Hill and they were passing out hot dogs !!!  We got FOUR plus water.  HAHA

Got home and I was really hungry so I ate some lengua and KR had one dog and Kurt had two.  James had eaten all the salad so I asked him to make some more.

KR and James went to the Fire Road for a evening walk with Angel.

We could hardly eat dinner.  Too much food around here  I was asleep by 10 (after speaking with mom from 9 - 9 30) and up at 6 15

Friday

 We get up early, as Angel was barking, and KR says James broke a glass and big noise

I have PT at 9 30 and for half hour Dalton worked me good  I rode my bike there

We went down to the beach and walked Angel.  Kurt went down to Ave G to work for Beach Camp and steps on a sting ray, KR drives him home and he is hollering.  Evidently the thing to do is soak your foot in VERY hot water.  That helped a lot

I go riding some more.and ran a little when KR was gone surfing.

James eats fried chicken for lunch.  I cook pork chop and James has lengua for dinner and KR has pork chop and I also cooked the taquitos on the air fryer.

We go walk Angel at Fire Road.

I was very tired cooking and cleaning on my feet for several hours.
