Easy Tuesday H72 L56

 So my back pain is definitely better.  So are my eyes.

KR went to Bible Study and I got up about 6 15.  Did a load of laundry, we changed sheets yesterday but I could not wash the rest of the sheets as we had to do the comforter and all.  Will met me at mom's at 9 and I spent the next three hours working there.  Yeesh.  He finally finished the kitchen floor, and weeded the front inside the gate, and put all the stuff away.

He came over here to eat lunch, taco salad, and I cooked the turkey with onions, but he didn't finish.  He likes junk food, like soda and chips and candy.  I am so sad that he is not coming to the  office to get his teeth finished.

Will also did part of the serenity garden.

KR went to FM and got a LOT of brussel sprouts and some celery which was too tough, so all went under the avocado tree.

Will left at 5 so I paid Diamond 150 dollars.  He has not even gotten to the gutters yet.

Tomorrow Diane and Bob arrive.

Monday H 69 L 53

 Finally I think spring is here.  I saw two swarms today on my way to pick up Eddie's shorts.  KR had his 7 am grouop and Chris was sick so Jim M headed it up.  He then tried to go surfing but no go.  He picked up my egg cartons in the Riviera, which I thought was shorts.  I got the people mixed up.  Then Julie wanted to borrow the wheel chair and I could not remember who I had loaned it to, and finally realized Ellen has it.  I asked her to return it, and she is having a hard time finding someone to bring it to me, I guess.  We shall see how she is going to get it down the hill.

I did two loads of laundry.  Either Angel or KR peed in bed last night so we had to wash everything, including the comforter.

Kurt's 8 am canceled. 

Will showed up at work, and he thought Rocky wanted him at 9 but no, it was suppose to be 1.  I was at Dr Lee's office getting a physical, at 9 am when he called me.  So I had him remove the ginger roots by the pine tree, and then the serenity garden in the back.  He continues to leave all kinds of stuff around.  No wonder he got laid off at Amazon.  He probably left  the truck a mess on a regular basis.

He worked for Rocky until about 4 30 and said that they want him back Thursday.

I cooked panko shrimp, and they ate the whole thing.

I also went over to mom's and did a bit more clean up.  Will needs to finish the condo tomorrow.

Sunday and no church for me H70 L 52

 So I woke up and my eyes are really swollen.  And I thought my back was back to normal, nope.  So I ice both the back and the eyes.

KR takes Angel to the beach and I stay home.  Kurt gets up and he goes to church.  I did it online and just laid around most day.

I also went over to mom's and washed the pillows again, and the towels.  Just another rinse.  Got them outside to dry.  Will had left some copper scrubbersa in the sink, and there is rust stains.  He is so so slopy.  I threw out the palm weeds like thing in the front.  I got rid of the trash here.  Plus the dog doo.  

They came back and had a quick bite and went walking at the fire road.  Kurt and Corrina and Helen and several others all went hiking so KR took Angel.  She actually stayed with them most of the time.

KR cooked kobe beef burgers and Corrina came over and played video game with Kurt.

Resting Saturday H 68 L 51

 So i got a little bit of exercise today.  Not much

Sleep score was 81 which is pretty good at 7 hours and 45 min.  I walked over to the condo to meet Will and he was in the car waiting for me, so he was late starting work.  He is such a mess that he scrubbed the kitchen floor, but did not wipe off all the Comet, so he tracked white powder all over.

He would clean the bathroom and leave rags and all kinds of stuff all around.  He left his lunch plate and didn't wash the dish.

How do you tell someone that he is not neat and is not going to get far if he does not train himself to be more thorough with his work, thoughts, actions?  No idea

When KR napped I did ride for 5.5 miles, slowly.  My eye lids are swollen, of course, and the right eye is more swollen than the left so I can hardly see out the right.  They don't hurt anymore, which is good.

My BACK, however, is still hurting.  Although much better.  No more sharp pain, but still quite uncomfortable.  I wore a back brace and iced all day.

I did go to Kathleen's to return her weed whacker, which KR says was too small.  She had another one that was way larger, so I brought that one home and hopefully KR will be happy with that one.

KR made a good salad and went to the Crookston for dinner.  Beef short ribs with all kinds of salad and shrimp and other goodies.  I am just not feeling well enough to go.

The coughing was way better today.

Blepharoplasty EYE LIFT DAY !!! Friday 2/26/2024 H 67 L 55

 We were up early, except my watch didnt start me sleeping until 10 30 maybe my back was hurting me too much.  

This morning still painful.  I got on the inversion table and was able to get myself back

Since my back was really bad I could not run to my appt with Dr Moy.  KR drove me and we were there at 12 30.  Signed all kinds of papers, and then she started.  Glad I did NOT watch the video until after she was done.  Seems rather easy, like I could have done it.  HAHAHA

KR picked me up and it was pretty swollen, and painful after the numbness wore off so I took some advil (2) with a tylenol and ice

Will came and worked 9 - 4 45 so I paid Diamond for 7 hours.  She also called that she was suppose to report to the DMV for the accident last year.  I didn't know you had to report all accidents that costs over 500 dollars.

I laid around all afternoon icing and reading the papers.  Tried to nap.  NO GO

Kurt worked all day, then went up to Corrina's

KR cooked the rock cod and sea bass from Jeff, oh yum

working Thursday and BACK WENT OUT

 So I was coming out of the car, at the office parking lot and I coughed.  OH NO  My back got pinched.  It was very painful but I managed to work UNTIL 2!!!!  It was busy and I had to see Maribel's family two members and writing up the charts took forever.

I did bring the step stool that they needed in.  

KR had one of the lime margarita's that I bought for Kurt and was acting 'weird' like he usually does when he drinks.  He is not too patient nor affectionate.  He has been that lately, nice and sweet

Towers screening Wednesday 4/23/2024

 I had an almost  free day.

So after KR left I rode for 2.5 miles going to BCO for my knee injection.  Came home and got Will situated for work.  He weeded the 'river bed' in the front and then  went over to Grandma's for  several hours.  He scrubbed the kitchen floor and what an  amazing job.  It was so filthy the grout color is black but the part he did is so nice and clean.

He does not put things away for the day, however.  That drives me nuts.  

Then 10 am I had my appt with Dr Mayada at Coastal Ortho.  He is ordering a special MRI so he can see, so he says, what the problem might be with my pain.  He does not think it is iliopsoas impingement as that pain would be constant.

KR came home soon after.

Kurt had work all day and left early and came back late.

I biked again in the afternoon to check the alleys.  Got a crock pot that I need to give away

Edison screening Tuesday H 65 L 55

 Rocky and Grace got burgled today !!!!  They are so so sad.  Someone was casing their house and Grace went out to CVS to get the rx and she didn't set the alarm, and these two scumbags broke in and took all her jewelry, she said worth 250K.  Oh my

We were up early and walked Angel to the park.  Kurt had early work too.  Said he worked 9.5 hours today.  Will was here about 9 15 and worked until 5.  I paid Diamond 160 dollars.  He is coming   everyday and will work whatever I ask him.  I need so much done.  He is helping at Grandma's and then tomorrow will be yard work here.

KR had screening at Edison and was home by noon.  I went to FM and got a bunch of lettuce and kale and cilantro.  Sarah was suppose to come and said she ran late and had to get dinner for the kids.

I went around the neighbors and tried to get their Ring Camera.  Ramon had some great shots of the scums but you cannot see their faces.  If people walk around with masks, it is not really that rare, so these two had masks on.

I went to the other neighbors, and no one has a good image of these two.  So so sad

KR screening Casimir Monday

 We were not up too early.  I slept  in until 6 40 had some weird dream about not having the right clothes on, and getting someone else's clothes on.

KR went to screening at Casimir, and I did laundry and met Will at Grandma's to have him start cleaning the condo.  He took everything out of the cabinets and wiped down and put things away and degreased the top of the microwave.  

He worked 7 hours and I am paying him 20 bucks an hour, plus lunch of pastrami sandwich.  9 am to 4 15 with 15 min for lunch

KR got back by 12 30

The cleaning crew was here and the house always look so nice.

CICLAVIA Venice Sunday 4/21/2024

 What a Sunday

I had a dream that we were on a boat and had caught a shark, a big one and then the shark was not dead yet and it tried to bite me.  I woke myself trying to jerk my foot away from the shark.

KR walked Angel while I washed the down comforter, as Moo had barfed furballs on it  yesterday,  and  hung out to dry.  We left for  Venice about 10 and  had a very nice ride down Venice Blvd.  There were so many people.  It was a bit overcast and got sunnier as we rode inland, but at the beach was a little cold and windy.  

We rode about 12 miles total.  Had Hot chicken sandwich at Nashville Hot sandwich, which was great, plus two fish tacos.  Too bad Corrina is in Nebraska and could not come with us. 

I wore the SUPER Woman outfit and had many comments.  A guy even wanted to take a pic with me.

We got home and all of us took a nap.  Even me.  I went out like a light.  An hour and 16 min.  KR slept for a little longer, and of course, Kurt slept for more than 3 hours.

We then went to Adele's and got our table and chairs and Julie Jensen's too and brought hers back to her and Billy was home.  Julie's best friend Debbie has brain cancer and Julie is just a mess and of course Debbie too.  And Julie is doing the remodeling.  Oh man

We had left over dinner and went to bed.

Sedar at the Kaplan's Saturday 4/22/2024 H 64 L 57

 What a day.  

We went out to the park about 8 30, after lazying around for a bit.  I then went to the garage and got the table for Adele and another stool.  We also brought over the card table from here and all our dining room chairs (the red ones) as there were going to be 26 or 28 at their house.

We went to FM and got LOTS of celery and some romaine.  I made a salad after  going to the Korean store for box salad, which they didn't have.  I  did buy cukes and some gum for KR.  

I biked around for almost eight miles and then KR took a nap  and I tried, my neck sore.  He took Angel out for  the afternoon walk, and we went to the Kaplans and they took up the whole living room, and I counted 26.  

The feast and the friendship was amazing.  We read from the Passover books, looks like my first time was 2014, which makes this the 10th year !!!

KR and I walked home, as Kurt wanted to stay longer.  

We were asleep by 10.  KR blew a .04 when he  got home.  He had a beer before and a lot of wine at their house.  But as he was not  driving and I was ok with that.  However, he is a little less 'tender' when he drinks.

Easy Friday 4/19/2024 H 64 L 55

 Oh what did we do?

We went down to the beach and I ran on the sand.  We saw a hurt or dying seal pup and I called Harbor Patrol and someone was coming down to either put it out of its misery or save it.  I hope they saved it.

We were home and had some breakkie.  I cooked some burgers, the KOBE beef kind that I got.  We also stopped at Ralphs so KR can buy some beer for his event tonight, and I wanted to get some habanero chips.  It turns out Tostitos is NOT making that chip anymore.  WHAT???  I guess it is not too popular.

We just hung around, and took a nap.  Me for a whole hour and KR hour  and 40 min !!!

The dizziness is driving  me crazy.  My  neck is always sore.

My SHOULDER the bicep tendonitis is hurting.  My left knee however, is feeling better.  The third injection is next week.

I did get very good sleep, 87 score, which is NOT common.  KR always gets in the 80's but me usually 70's.

Working Thursday 4/18/2024 H 66 L 53

It was a day of work and what a day.

I was up early and got there on time, and it didn't look busy but  we were.  I didn't get out of there until 1.  Maribel and Tracy went to send donuts to  the o ffices we like and were not there much.  Joanna broke the cavitron tip inside the tip and I need to try to fix it.  I forgot to bring it home.  

I was so tired when I got  home that I just  laid around until I went for a bike ride, not much to get in the alley   

I am pretty sure I cooked some food, like chicken that I bought from Ralphs, but as this is SUNDAY, I don't remember much from that day. 

It says on Fitbit I went to bed at 848 and slept until 6 

Wednesday H 67 L 51

 I am  still coughing and still dizzy.

Maybe .3 mg klonipin, plus the amitryptline, and thinking of quiting all of that.

KR got a squirrel and after we walked Angel to the park,  she attacked MiniMoo and had her in her mouth and was gonna shake her.,  I was so so mad at the dog

I put her in the crate and she wanted to come upstairs, and I didn't let her.

KR went on a bike ride with Phil T and went out to eat.  He then took an 1 1.2 hour nap, and I would not let Angel in to the bedroom.  MiniMoo was sleeping in there.  She has a limp on her left shoulder.  I made an appt to have her looked at tomorrow morning 8 30 Western Vet, just to make sure.  And to have her weigh and maybe vaccine.

I had my orthovisc injection at BCO at noon.  I ran about 2.1 mile, very slow.  Biked 2 23 mile very slow.  

We went up to the fire road.  And at the end  my left knee felt pretty good, not clicking.  Maybe this Orthovisc actually works.

Tuesday and TOO MUCH WORK H 73 L50

 So I had to work today.

KR  had his bible study   and  I was gone before he  came home.

It was a  lot  of work.  I h ad  s everal screaming meemies.  KR took  out Diamond's tooth  and  placed  the  bone augmentation  and the  collegen plug and sutured it closed.  It was amazing.  But  we forgot to take an x ray

I had lunch of pastrami sandwich   and some soup  and went for a short run.

Got off work at 4 and was just so pooped.

We had bible study.  I had forgotten all about it, but KR reminded me.  Kurt got off work early, like 2 pm and he  had a   long nap.  KR took Angel for a walk

Monday and just a lazy day H 65 L 48

 We  were up not too early, at least not me.  KR had his bible study group and then I did laundry.   He walked Angel and then planted the raspberries.  Kurt had work early.

I didn't feel too well, kind  o f blah, tummy  not feeling too good.  I did 8,7 mile bike ride, and found some shelfing stuff.  There is a vacuum but missing a  piece of hose.  I might just see if I  can fix the hose.  

KR went to Costco and got some food, especially bananas and nuts and dog food.  He took a nap after lunch and I went for a run, 2.8 miles at 13 min mile.  Very slow.  Left knee ok, but the right is starting to hurt.

Kurt got home by 5 30 and took a nap

Both cats, Mr Gray and Marmi came to eat and I  could pet them both now.  They love the wet food.  Mr Gray might even become the house kitty, maybe

Our San Francisco Trip 40th Reunion Friday - Sunday H 64 L 46

 What a trip

We left Friday morning and got back Sunday night.  It rained a bit both up in SF and also down here

Thrusday WORK

 Can't remember what happened.

I went to work  and had this real wingy kid at noon and he was 11 minutes late, an cried and wanted his  mom and all that.   AND I have to do ANOTHER  filling..  OH  MY

Got   home and packed for our trip  

I only biked fdor 2.5 miles.  

IU did walk 11884 steps.  I think  I   was doing some jumping jax to get them up

What a day of work !!! H64 L52

 I was up early, by 5 40, could not sleep.  KR had already made my coffee.   When he used to drink he would get up later especially on THursday.  

I got to work and no one was around.  Mary did not have the keys and Maribel finally came.  The schedule was slow so I cleaned the cabinet under the s ink/dining area.  It was such a mess but all got cleaned.

My 12 appt showed up 12 minutes late, and he was just a complete whiner.  I had to nitrous him to numb him to do a filling and he was crying, and then his mom said he often argues with her about brushing.  I kept asking him, WHO MADE THE CAVITIES?  And he would say he did but...... 

I was tired

Got home and went for a short bike ride.  KR was at Valor for his monthly  meeting.  The girls at the office had screening at Launch preschool where Kurt used to go.

I cooked curry chicken with potatoes and carrots and onions  from the yard.  KR made rice.   Kurt had work all day and this week seems like he had a 40 hour week.  

Wednesday H 73 L 52

It was not too hot nor too cold today.  I am trying to figure out why the space bar double space all the time.   

I went running  first  thing  thiis morning as  I had my knee  injection a ppt  at  8 and  it   didn't hurt.  I  spent the  next three hours  cleaning the garage. Vacuuming and cleaning and  putting stuff in mom's  garage.   

KR walked Angel and then sat outside for a bit.  Nice day.  He had left over for dinner.  I cooked some more egg patties.  I fell asleep only a little.  Kurt worked all day.  He is not liking working all  day.  

Ok, I just took the space bar off and cleaned under it and seems to help ALOT !!!  Hip hip hurray

Kurt came home at 6 25 and is tired.  He might have a sty or pink eye or something.  I have another MD appt tomorrow

Tuesday H 80 L 50

 Yup, it was HOT today.  So warm that  I sat outside and got a tan.

We were up early, KR went to his bible study and I cleaned and puttered.  Spoke to Brandon a bout  the  Wells account and we got  that  straight.  I forgot to call BCO to see if I can get an earlier appt.  It  also feels like I am g etting a sore  throat.   KR  has  been  coughing a little  and took some antibiotics but  he said  he is feeling  better today.  I am gettingt something  from him.

My sleep score is only 76, not that great.  KR's is  always  in the  80's it seems.

I biked for 5.6 miles ONLY and my knee was sore.  I dropped off the bagels and got the papers from Adele.  KR went with Jamie to  the gun  shop and then t o Denny's for brunch before he went to FM and  got a lot o f  lettuce.  I dropped some off for Jim.

We both sat outside and he came in for a nap.  Kurt had a LONG day of work.  Or we would call it  a regular day.  

I cooked the  belly meat and some eggs in t he  egg cooker.

Tomorrow will be 78.  Really  heating up.

Monday H 70 L 46 TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE SUN

It was COLD  this morning.  We tried t o start off with a bang but ended with a fizzle.  Maybe tomorrow.  KR took Angel to the service road and then we got coffee.  Andrea and Maribel came to clean and  I stayed home and tried to make some appt with the orthopaedic.   We keep having trouble with the Einstein app, so I had to go there to fix it after KR walked.  

The cleaning people were here and I did  a bunch of paper work.  The eclipse started around 11, and we  only had a partial,  and with four pairs of sunglasses we can see a little bit of t he eclipse.   

KR tried taking a nap 

I had chiro with Chris at 12 30  and  then dropped off Lisa's dove box that KR made yesterday.

We went to the  fire road and I ran 2.35 miles  up and down, and walked a little too.   

Dinner was pork chops that I cooked.  Doug came by and gave us some fish.

Sunday H 64 L 44

 It  was  REALLY cold this morning  KR took Angel  out while I did the laundry and changed the sheets and started cleaning  for the cleaning lady.  Yeah, he says his mother always did that when the cleaning ladies were coming.

We went to church and it w as HOT TOPIC !!!  

If  I  was  born this way,  HOW CAN IT  BE  A SIN?

Well, I  asked some questions  at  Q and A   and Paul said  that he had no answer for: did God make  hermaphrodites?  As  they are  not i n the image o f GOD, neither man nor woman.  He said  he  didnt  know  .   He   should say he will find me some answers.  

KR tried to  nap but could not.  I went riding in the alleys  NOTHING.  He did take Angel out  this afternoon while I   was  riding.

He also  made Lisa D a dove house.  Looks lovely and I  will drop off tomorrow.

Saturday 4/6/2024

KR went surfing  I biked when he went to  FM.  We got lots and lots  of romaine which  I gave  some away.  He went surfing and the  water was bad he said  and thinks he is getting sick so he started some augmentin.  

I delivered the blue bird house to Lisa Duarte and got  some more boards from her to  make more  blue  bird  houses.

We w ent to w alk   Fire  Trail and saw  Prince and fed him some cat food.

I GOT TO PET MR. GRAY.  I pinned   him down and pet him for  about a minute  !!!  He just stayed and took  i t.  HAHAHAHAH

We went  to  S B Community church  as  Kurt wanted   to go up  to  Corrina's and not go tomorrow.

We had left over  for dinner.  

Friday always fab, as no work for a whole week, but... H59 L45

 It was  very  windy today

We were up early, I did not get very good sleep.  KR always seems to have better  sleep score than I do.  He went to the beach with Angel, down at the sand and I stared on the photo albums downstairs.  We  discovered that a lot of the stuff was from Gon Gon and Nei Nie, from South Pasadena.   So when  grandpa passed, mom took everything, and then when they moved down here,  I got everything.   There were some interesting stuff, like pictures of them when they were young, maybe in the 60's or 50's.

I had KR  take  most  of that  stuff  over to mom's.   There were Lovely's   wedding adn Eddie's  wedding and James  wedding  to  Nina.   Sheesh.     

I tried taking a nap but I  dont'  think   I actually slept.  KR did.  We walked over to mom's to look for the  camera battery so we can take  on o ur trip to Africa.  We  are  going to take Yeye's  camera.  The Minolta that  he used on  his across  the country  trip for his self published book.

Kurt thought  he  was going   to  be off at 2, but ended up about 5.  I d rove over to  give Lisa D her bird house and  KR  is going to  make some  dove houses for her.   

He went to the jacuzziw hile  I  went  running.  S low  and painful.

WHAT a day of work Thursday 4/4/24 H 61 L 50

It was not a  warm  day.   

It  was  also a  very busy day

I got to work on time and it started off with a bang and ended with a bomb. I had lots to do a d Dr Addie, Adilene or something like that , did some  sealants and I told her I needed to check but Mary was cleaning the room and Adilene didn't tell Mary not to dismiss the patient, Ryan and he left.  

Then at 12 pm, Megha brings her two  girls in and asked me to  work on the older  one,  Malini?  And I did  2, 3, 13, 24, 15, 18 and 9.  It was  a lot  of  work.  When I got home, I was exhausted and I slept from 3 - 4.   Would  have  slept more if I didn't  have to get up  to pee.  KR  took Angel to  the  fire  road  and  she promptly got lost.   Well, not lost, she just didn't listen and then KR could not find her and  finally got her.  

I cooked more shank, and it was delicious.  Teresa  Ho came by and I gave her some and she gave me  some bread.   I think Bun pooped on the downstairs comforter and I had t o clean it.  Maybe I will just  give away.    I think  she got locked up in  there  and  could  not come  out to poop.

Kurt went up to Corrina's.   He only had morning half day of work.  Many kids on spring break.  

Wednesday Office Meeting H 69 L 52

The taiwan earthquake was bad.  Hualien many buildings fell  over.   There  were some killed by rocks on land slide.  However  that  country can get t hings back  on  track FAST.

We w ere  up and KR took Angel for a walk a nd  iw ent  to the ofrfice meeting.  Melissa was  gone, so only Mary.  The new assistant will be coming next week I t hink.

Mark was there and I forgot my hearing aids but it was ok.

I went to  El Super for  meat and  stuff.  I made soup for Mary too.  She was in the ER  and is not feeling well,  they  think  maybe pneumonia.  The   vegetable soup  was  very good, with rib meat,  chicken legs and shank  meat  based soup.

Kurt was suppose to  work all day but got home early.   He wentt o work  early.

I didn't   sleep, went for ar ide.  

Dropped a glass bowl with  chicken legso n  my left foot.  Had  to ice a ll afternoon.  Still had a bruise.

Tuesday Bible Study and Taco Tuesday and FM TAIWAN EARTHQUAKW 7.4

 We were up before 6 and KR went to  bible study.   He took  Angel out  while I did the laundry and cleaned some.  Sometimes I g et  stuck  watching FB  Reels and some are so so funny.

He then went to FM and got  some lettuce  and celery and some strawberries.  The strawberries were great and he cut some up for the group tonight.

We went to Kalveras for Taco Tuesday.   And  they said they could  not give me a to go  box for the  two left  over  tacos.   KR  was  furious and the manager apologized and we got  a box and ordered two white lasagna from Green Temple to go for dinner. 

Kurt  was suppose to work until 6 but he got home early even had a swim at the beach, then a  long nap and then his lasagna.  KR also cooked the bacon  and  some wursts.   

Bible  study was  on the 10  commandments and  we had a lively discussion.

Then I heard  Taiwan  had  a huge earthquake  and many buildings in Hualien  fell down.  Lovely s aid  it was  rock and  roll for awhile.  OH  WOW

Monday April 1 H65 L49

 April  Fools  Day

Sarah and Chris  called me with a April  Fool's joke  but it was not a good  joke.  She said that Ellie has a tooth at  1 month old, and  I text her that  it is no big deal,  we  finally talked  and and  they are getting ready to  move to Florida.   

I went for a ride and found a bunch of clothes that I had to ride  back and forth to bring to mom's garage.  There was a lot of kids' shoes, I didn't even check the clothes.  I also found a new pregnancy pillow, which I washed and will give away.  

KR had his Monday morning group and then took Angel for a walk.  He also took her out in the  afternoon.  I did not go either time.  I am getting fat, over 110 in the morning, so I need to decrease for our reunion next week.  Ron text me and Regina to make sure to take videos of all the classmates.  KR was under 170 lb once last week, but now is gaining some wt.  I also talked to Jeannie of Wells Fargo about my accounts.  

We saw the rocket from Space X blasting off.  Chuck called me to go outside to see it !!!!
