Lunch with Roger Thursday

 Roger text yesterday to have lunch with him.  It is his 67 birthday

I woke up with a blazing headache and a back ache.  Oh man

We went to Hickory Park in the rain.  It rained all day, just about finally quitting about 7 30 pm.  We walked Angel, or rather she was off leash and just ran through the puddles and rain.  Man she can run.  And not even get tired.

I am sore from working out at NH yesterday.

I felt so bad that I took the COVID test Roger gave me.  Took about 15 min and it was negative.  I was tired and cranky all morning.  Laid in bed for a bit.  

We went up to Good Stuff, we were early by 10 minutes.  We had a good lunch and learned a bit about Roger.  

We came home and I took a nap and so did KR.  We went to the park again and ran Angel.  She ran and ran and ran.

Kurt went and got his booster at CVS in Lomita  Could only find him the Moderna.  Said his arm is a little sore.

Then it was football game and to bed.

Relaxing Wednesday (rained all day)

 So it was suppose to rain by 1 am but NO GO yet.

I find out that Heal360 takes walk in for testing, so I wake up Corrina and Kurt to go test.  She had spent the night after finding out that Essai had tested positive.  They waited in line at 8 02 and got tested will find out tomorrow.

We go to post office and walk Angel.  SHE CAN RUN !!!  She even breaks through the dry mustard plants to run.  It started raining about 9 30 and we got home ok.  We were suppose to go see Diamond and Will for lunch but we could not get them to text back, finally they said that they were in contact with someone who tested positive and they got tested, turns out negative but they are testing again Friday.

BUT THEY DON"T ANSWER THEIR TEXT until 11 when we were suppose to be there already.  Jeez Louise

Violet takes dad to the appt with Dr Lee.  I drive to Dolly's to pick up chocolate, and then I went to 99 Ranch, just had HAD to get fermented rice.  It rained ALL DAY

KR had a nice nap.  I went to the gym at NH and he came after and we did a nice jacuzzi.  I had a nice conversation with Mom B.  Alden and Gina bought a house for $775,000 in El Cajon, only a 3 bedroom.  So only Paige and Josh are going to move in with them.  

Margarita and Guillermo brought over tamales, 12 of them, and Kurt and KR ate a bunch.  Will need to give Violet and Yeye some tomorrow

I went to bed earlier than KR and Angel.  Didn't even hear them come in I was so out.  Supposedly I went to bed at 9 58 and woke up at 6 47

Tuesday

 EASY day, yes, yes 

We went to the Fire Road and Angel is just running all around.  Wow she can run.  It was rather muddy from the recent rain.  Well, it is going to rain either late tonight or early tomorrow and will be muddier.

We came home and KR made peanut butter cookie treat for Angel.  Only has egg, honey, peanut butter, almond flour, and wheat flour.  She loved them  He then took a nap and I went to drop off the paperwork with Camilla.  Roger was working too trying to figure out Workman's comp, etc.  

We then walked Angel to Hickory Park.  Corrina was over exchanging gifts with Kurt.  

TOO MUCH WORK MONDAY

 So I am suppose to work today, starting at 8 30.  KR takes Angel to the Post Office.  Oh what fun.  It is cold and rained a little last night.

I get to work, and NO REBEKKAH, I guess she didn't come in so Camilla rescheduled the implant delivery and I get all cleaning and the denture delivewry.

It was way too busy.

And the instruments...........   there is no instruments...........  she only uses ONE SCALER on cleaning, plus the cavitron.....   how how and how

I get out about 1 10 and come home and eat quickly and go to the bank and get money for chiro and take out 740, I had 10 extra and go see Chris.

Very good chiro, come BACK TO THE OFFICE to write charts, another hour, and come home and eat and very tired.

Denise Paulson came down with COVID, and we hugged her and kissed her.  OH man

Roger wanted to take us out to dinner, we think MAYBE NOT 

KR went to bed by 9 and me by 9 30

Church Sunday

 We went down to the park to walk Angel.

She is such a sweet dog.  Just wanna be with us ALL THE TIME.  And a bit too beggy.  HAHAH

We went to church.  Kurt came with us.  It was NOT Paul, but Dustin on Malachi and not Revelation. It was cold.  Rained lightly last night too, and should rain tomorrow too.

We had a bit of left over before church, and Chris and Sarah came over with shawarma and we had a great visit.  She is due in June.  I was really tired and went to lay down and fell RIGHT ASLEEP.  AND I never nap.  I guess I needed it.  Another just went by.

We went down to the beach and walked Angel.  Came home ate some more and watched Die Hard.  The original movie with Bruce Willis.  WOW, I don't think I ever watched that movie.  It was very good.  We should watch the second one tomorrow.  HAHAHA

I was in bed by 9 15.  GOTTA WORK TOMORROW

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2021 Beef Wellington

 It rained lightly last night.

We met Denise Paulson and Gaia at Ave A and walked a little.  Angel and Gaia did well, because we were moving.  We gave her a fuzzy blanket and a card and some candle and she gave us some home made tamales.  Six little ones.

We got home and KR started making the BEEF WELLINGTON !!!!  It is so so much work.  He sautees mushrooms and green onions, then sears thee beef and then lays out prosciutto and wrap the meat and then lays out puff pastry and wrap and bake.  

I am cooking thee zuks and we will have mashed potatoes and ice cream for dessert.  

BOTH RALPHS AND CVS are closed today.  We were so surprised when we went to get some rolls at Ralphs and found the doors locked and piles of wood and water on pallets in front of the doors.

KR took a nap and then we baked the BW.  

Everyone came by 5 but the roast was NOT done, so we baked it another 15 min and cut into it and the large end was too raw for most but I loved it.  We had the five of us plus MARY and BRIAN !!!  Yea, Mary came I am so glad.  Got gifts from her, cookies, and pajamas and a painting by Vana's aunt.  I am so blessed.  We ate way too much.  Brian also brought half an apple pie and ice cream.  All eaten.  Mary brought left over salad.  We ate it all.

Kurt had a migraine and he did a sumatriptan nasal spray and went to bed and slept 12 hours.  Mary and I did the clean up

Christmas Eve 12/24/2021 Friday

 We were up early and Angel is up and did not eat too much..   After not eating last night, she ate a bit.  We took her to the beach for maybe two blocks.  She seems to be much better.

We drove through the village and saw a double rainbow.  It rained all night and finally stopped this morning.

We eat our home grown fermented pineapple, and I blow .09 on BCA, and then .02.  HAHAHA

We ride around the alley, didn't see anything good.  Then KR naps and we go to KHC for 2 pm Christmas eve service.  We stopped at Katsu Bar for a coupon item, of curry, and KR eats and we go to BOH for 5 pm service.  TWO SERVICES TODAY

We come home and KR watches some football and Violet brings over the air fryer and some cookies.

MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL

RAIN Thursday

 12/23/21

It started raining in the middle of the night and steady rain happened all day.  

We walked Angel a little and we dropped her off to be spayed at the Carson shelter.  Then we went up to Chadwick to watch Kurt play water polo.  Only Duncan Day was there, and the rest were seniors or other players, plus one woman,  It was fun watching him play after all these years.  He was EXHAUSTED and almost ready to puke.

I had to see Mable Duncan and  we left before the over time.

The denture fit well and will be delivering some other time I guess.

Came home and KR took a nap after a LARGE beer.  Maybe some shots too.

I went to see Chris Bruno and had a great session.

KR picked up Angel and she is not feeling well.  Won't eat dinner.  She just laid there for several hours.  Kurt came by to change, guess there is a Chadwick mixer in Manhattan tonight.  

He also finished the bottle of tequila  Oh My

Kurtis ends up in Taylor's house over night.  Said the party at Shade's was pretty good

Wednesday

 Nice not to have to work.  

We were up early and walked Angel to the park and then the tree trimming people came., 

The covid testing people were suppose to move their tents but no one at the corporate told the workers even though Steve at the Y said he emailed them.  They started at 8 and was done by 10.  Very fast and efficient.  Three guys.  Two on the bottom and one in the tree.  Very good climber.

After KR's nap, we went up to the post office and walked Angel.  I keep want to call her Gracie.  She loved running fast and all over the hill.  We picked up the shelf from Dougs and moved it to mom's garage.  Kurt is over there in the morning and tomorrow and Friday Violet will come.  I also got more money for Olivia.

Lori and I had a meeting with Roger Catalan.  He is going to hire her for maybe several weeks.  He wants me to work more but I don't want to.

Dinner was left over with some curry sauce from the dumpster in the alley.  I went for a walk and picked up some squash too and mango and persimmons.  A long walk home with a couple of pounds of food

 KR went to walk Angel at the post office again, and I decided not to go, just to get ready for work.

I got there at 9 and my first patient Farwar? was in the chair already.  I delivered this bridge that was 12-13-14 and man there was so much temp cement under the bridge.  What in the world is going on?  This old guy has all kinds of implants and they look like MUSHROOMS !!!

I got done at 1 and went to the bank for money for Olivia.  She was suppose to go home yesterday but she thought it would be today, so I just had her stay another day.  So what is another hundred dollars???

KR took a nap while I tried to do some work.  Paid bills and printed more Christmas letters.  We took Angel down to the beach for a walk.  She can walk from Knob Hill to Dolphin Park.  WOW  Gracie could never do that, even when she was a pup

Freda made us some soup.  It was amazing.  KR ate it all

Eddie C came by with a perio abscess around 18/19 and I cleaned it out and gave him antibiotics and pain pills and peridex.  Work and then home and work.  At least I had all kinds of sterilized instruments.

We, me and Roger and Lori are going to try to meet ASAP

LONG work day Monday

 So Dr Desai is out of town, and I worked for her.  What a long long day.

I had looked at the schedule last week and wrote who needed what x rays.  It still turned out to be very busy.  Several brothers groups came.  Angelica was there too and that was a help.  I had lunch for the girls, Nova Bossa which is I think Brazilian right around the corner.  The food was delicious, and expensive.  But hey they had a great time.

KR had a great day, with the Zoom call to the Monday morning group, and then walking Angel at the Post Office, to party for the foster kids at Donna's but he didn't get home until almost 10.  

I got home and had to go to the bank for money for Olivia.  She then text me thinking she is working 10 days this month so she is not leaving tomorrow, Tuesday, but Wednesday.

OK

After the bank I ran Angel to the park.  Man she can RUN RUN AND RUN

I went to bed right before KR came home.

More work tomorrow

LOST and FOUND day

 We were up early and walked Angel to the beach.  She tangled a bit with the two labs and their collars got tangled up and he, the owner, called Angel a BAD DOG.  She is NOT a bad dog, just one that does not like rambunctious lab coming to try to play with her.

We got home and picked up Olivia and Yeye for church.

Kurt comes home from COTB and asked, "WHERE IS THE PUP?" 

Well, guess she jumped the fence and went awol and we rode all over the neighborhood looking and I make a post looking and then KR found a VM saying that someone found her and took her to Torrance Animal Control, but the notice says to bring to Carson and they did.  

We went to Carson and they were out to lunch so we went and had a steak sandwich and went back and got her.  She was so so happy to be back with us.  She smelled like kennel so we gave her a bath.

Thank God that I put the new Christmas collar on her so she does not look like a stray.

We must lock her up if we are not going to be home.  Otherwise she  would jump the fence again.

That mange dog is an escape artist.  Maybe we should name her Houdini, or KR says Houdina !!!  

Sunny Saturday

 Today's high is 67, low of 42

KR woke up early and could not go back to sleep.  Me and Angel were snoring away til 6.  He woke me up.

We went down to the beach and had a nice walk.  Angel is better that last walk.  Mind her manners a bit more.  Saw Kiber and Stu.  And a whole lot more folks.  

AND THEN SAW GREG WHITE.  He was driving the Prius and was honking and honking and then pulled over and started screaming and drove off.  I called the RPD.  I rode to return Amy's Keurig and saw Doug and he said Greg was over this morning screaming and kicking his mom's door  Chuck Oh the cop must be so frustrated having that going on at all times.  

KR dropped off the gifts for the foster kids, and ate and we went to FM and then to Redondo to give the Baytril to Jennifer at Bullies and Buddies.  The two pitty puppies were so so cute.  We took a short walk on the esplanade. 

KR took a nap and I started to answer many of Alan's questions.

Camilla text and would like me to work on Tuesday  The doctor that was suppose to work said he could not.  

We went to Donn'a birthday party.  She must have had 25 people there.  She turned 60.  Carole and Mike and Patty and Mike and Paula were there, plus a lot of her other church friends.  We had a great time.  Menu was really interesting.  She had four different kinds of chicken wings, sausage/meat/cheese platter, fruit bowls, chips and dip, vege platter, and meatballs.  Carole brought a great salad and it was gone in a flash.  Not enough green food is what KR thinks.  The house is decorated so so nicely.

We came home and the three of us took Angel for a walk to the park.  She is so so fast

Easy Friday

 We go down to the beach and walk Angel.  I keep on wanting to write Gracie.  SHe is gone.  She is the bestest dog

KR goes surfing and I come home with Angel.  I stop at Smart and Final and buy cups for Bill's luncheon.  They were expecting 25 and 34 showed up.

HAHAHA  IF it was COVID city would be so so bad.

At least KR had his booster.

Yuan Yuan came over and gave me peanuts and cookies

It was warmer today.  I pay Harbor Rock Bill for the house painting  1000 I rounded up to.  Bill was 912 or something. 

Kurt and Corrina went to see the lights and then watching a movie.  I guess they are back an item now

I spoke with mom for 18 minutes.  She is starting to forget me, if I don't speak with her often enough.  Dementia is so so cruel.  

We went to bed, and I woke up in the middle of the night with gagging cough.  This sinus issue is killing me  Post nasal drip and coughing coughing and more coughing that wakes me up

Easy working Thursday

 Maribel text me not to come until 8.  My 7 canceled.

I have an easy day and KR comes and does the RCT for Nicole.  It was short so he had to take one of the gutta percha out and redo.  I leave by 12 45 and go home

They have a fire going and I am tired

It rained most of the afternoon.  Slight rain but still rain  I tried taking Angel out and she didn't want to go so I went to NH and walked around the exercise room and came home.  Still got a little damp.

Wednesday

 So I do gotta work,  dang     Angel, sleeps on the bed all night  What a pup.  Very loving and very active.

We go walk her in the park.  It is COLD 53 at 7 am.  Kurt left the back door open about 8" all night.

KR takes a nap with the Mutt

It is Will's birthday.  I send him 200 and call and text.  He does not reply.  Diamond says he was working.  At the Crab Shack I guess.

I see Carol at 8 30 at Beverly's office, then it was a whole bunch of dentures.

I am done at 12 30 and go home very tired.  I think  I used too much reline material on a FUD.  I call the lab and try to fix it.

I see the FLD pt with this two roots retained and Dr Catalan did NOT want to take them out.

Oh man

I am tired of working there already.  She does not write enough in the chart

TUESDAY AND WE GOT A NEW DOG - ANGEL is her name

 We didn't plan it.

It started raining in the middle of the night and it rained a long long time and blew pretty hard that a bunch of palm fronds blew off.

I didn't work, of course.  Yesterday afternoon I got another check from Will Weston for 1302.70.  He missed that much money for my percentage.

Roger wants me to work more but I don't want to.

KR had an early lunch, of El Pollo Loco and took a nap so that we can go to Carson shelter, we had an appt and look at dogs.

WE GOT NOVA, who we renamed Angel.  She is about 2 and must have had a litter already.  Her teats are a bit big.  She is 46 pounds today and is pretty thin.  Will prolly fill out another five pounds.  She has not barked yet.  She is very docile and sweet.  I took her on a mile run and she is not even tired.

KR has an appt for an exam for her this Friday.

KR picked up Mathew and Bubba and they had popcorn, Jack in the Box and watched TV.  I did some more Christmas cards.  KR did a bunch this morning.

Monday

 We got up early, KR had Zoom Monday morning, and I went to Puche to pick up Mable's case.  Then we went to visit Kiki, one of Jennifer's rescue dog, of Bullies and Buddies.  She is really hyper and was very very interested in a neighbor cat.  We don't think she is the one for us.  Jennifer also said that Kiki is too interested in cats and will prolly chase them and maybe hurt chickens.

We came home and did laundry.  It is going to rain tonight.  

KR went to El Pollo Loco for lunch.

He took a nap and then we went to meet Roger.  He called a meeting.  We don't know why.  We still don't know why after the meeting.  Roger is having the Persian doctor trying out tomorrow, and the husband dentist trying out Saturday.  Roger wants to sell the practice by end of January.  I spoke with Lori Malinbaum and she wants to work.  Her divorce is final.  I am going to see Mable Duncan at the lab tomorrow, and then work at Roger's on Wednesday.

After the meeting, we went home to get the house ready for the rain.  I went for another jog, about 8 30 pm.  I had 8 hours of sleep last night.  

Church Sunday

 We went down to the beach and actually walked on the beach.

I sure miss Gracie.  She is is the the bestest dog ever !!!!

We went to church, and the guess speaker was very good.

Kurt went to COTB

We got food from Sarah.  VERY good fried rice.

KR went to check the diving.  Kurt went bike riding with Corrina.  I wrote the letter to the patients about the office.  K and C came back and sat in front of the fire and watched some TV

WORKING Saturday

 Yup, You got that right.

So we met with Roger yesterday and I agreed to come to work.  First was a denture delivery.  A very nice Indian lady who started crying.  I started crying.  Then it was crown delivery and then more denture adjustment and denture reline.  SHE DOES a lot of dentures, I guess.

Came home and went to FM.  Kurt got really REALLY MAD about taking a course during WINTER quarter.  Said he needed time off??????  I told him just to quit and he punched the dash.  THAT boy needs some direction.  We got a lot of fennel.

KR had Klub.  I rode around a bit.  Didn't get much. We went to give blood at Red Cross 

We had an easy night home.  Was suppose to go to Claudia's but we forgot.

Friday SO SO BUSY

 We get up early and KR goes surfing.  I clean house.  Went to see Violet and gave her cookies for her birthday

Went to meet Roger Catalan and KR was there too.  Very nice office by AAA and she has all the latest equipment.  She died of COVID 9 days ago  Megha came to talk to Roger too, I was thinking she should buy the practice

THen we went to the Village Party.  It was very nice

We came home and KR took a nap and I went to YMCA to buy a tree.

We went to BOH Christmas party.  More food and was very nice  Kurt came and ate and left.  Said he had stuff to do.  Today is the last day of the semester.  Said something about him failing History

Thursday light working day

 I got to the office and Maribel and Tracy had gone out and printed Gracie's picture and put it on a frame and bought me flowers !!!  Can you believe that

The work was slow  and Dr Else and I sharpened all the perio instruments and sorted through everything.

KR came to work on Sonya, Maribel's sister.

He took a nap and did some yard work.

We went to the office party at Dr Sata's house.  It is in Westchester and is REALLY nice, with a pool and outdoor bbq and just amazing

We had charade game and it was fun

Wednesday CHIRO

 We went for a walk up the fire trail, all the way up.  I have not seen the vacant land up there for years.  Gracie could not make it that far for the last few years so we did not go up there that much.

We came down and went to Sprouts for some flowers for Violet.  It is her birthday on Friday.  Then to Wells Fargo for some money for Yeye.  Then we came home and I rode to Sams for a bottle of wine and KR started the brussel sprouts cleaning. It took a long time.  I roasted them along with the beets.

KR did a little yard work and took a nap.  I went to see Chris Bruno  Always good to have an adjustment,.

I must have eaten at least a pound of brussel sprouts today.  GOT  GAS ???

Went to bed and read some devotional with KR

Tuesday

 So I am relieved but also trying to figure out what I am going to do.  

Magda called me and asked if I was coming in.  I told her Will Weston said that we were finished with our relationship.  So I am not coming in.  I also got a text from Kathy, who said that Will thought I was coming into work.  Until I can find some place else to work.  Right !!!

We went to Farmers Market and got a lot of romaine, sprouts some cilantro, some beets and broccoli.  I gave a lot of food away today.

Kurt has finals this week.

I spent most afternoon cleaning the food and storing.

After KR's nap, we went down to pick up my charts and my cbecks.  Will paid me the full amount, I believe

MONDAY and I am out of a job in Redondo

 KR goes surfing instead of Zoom withe the Monday morning group.  I do laundry and get the house ready for Andrea and Maribel

They do nice cleaning and I walked to Walmart to pick up the stuff I ordered online and walked back.  Patty Lopez brought over some yummy beef stew.  Last night we got some yummy spring rolls.

I went for a run and then got the response from Will Weston.  I text him at 1 45 that he needs to pay me on time and 8 30 he replies that we should end our relationship, because his staff CANNOT handle the both of us.  What a crock.  Oh man, he is making the excuse that it is his staff's fault that he cannot pay me on time.  WOW and WOW

At least he is NOT going to the Christmas party.

So I told Angel Go that I am not seeing her tomorrow.  I am going to give my patients to Jeff Yamane.  I THINK.  Going to talk to Megha about this too

Sunday

 KR went surfing and I sprayed the sheets and trying to figure out what to do without Gracie.  The sheets had blood spots all over.  I washed the comforter yesterday.  Andrea and Marisol are coming tomorrow so I wanted to spray the sheets before I washed them.

We went to church.

Kurt was whinging about going to church.  Yeye has such bad breath.

KR was going to stay to help with chairs so we drove two cars.

Kurt came back and let the chickens out on the grass for a bit.,

Sarah made us food, so much food.  We had half a burrito, half a steak and she rolled 9 spring rolls for us.  VERY delicious.  I dropped four off for Violet and Yeye.

I gave away the massager and the iPhone 12 pro case and bought a new case for Kurt that is like the defender so he will not crack his screen again.

I was in bed by 8 15.

Saturday

 Neither one of us could sleep, with no Gracie hogging the bed or turning all around or snoring or just being the queen of the bed.  I miss miss her so

We went down to the beach and it was foggy.  We walked all the way from Ave C to Burnout and back.  Didnt need to slow down nor wait for Gracie to sniff and pee.  We miss her.  I just feel like a little black cloud all around, that she is gone.

We went to FM and got maybe 14 heads of cauliflower, plus beets and carrots.  I gave away a lot of of the food and cooked and ate a bunch.

We went to Harbor Rock open house at our Sepulveda House and then came home and KR cooked the lobster dish for the Viggiano party.  They live on Doris Ave, which is at the beginning of Candy Cane lane.  We were a bit early so we drove around and most of the houses are decorated.  

There were MANY people at the party and our dip was a hit.

By the time we were done, the traffic was AMAZING, so many people walking and driving to see all the houses decorated.

KR went to bed and I stayed up another hour.

My idiopathic rhinitis is just killing me  I never know when my nose will run, and the cough coughing all the time.  Drives me nuts. 

I didn't sleep very well

Friday 12/2/2021 LAST DAY of GRACIE

 We didnt know but today is the last day. 

She got up and we went to the beach.  She did not walk too much.  Much licking of face and snorting.  We saw Natalie and she got a treat and then went and laid down on the back bench,  We came home and decided that we gotta do the right thing and put her down.

KR called Angels and Halo and they said they can come today 1 or 2 or 3.  KR had an eye appointment with Dr Olinger and he went and Mary came over and hugged her.  Gracie was bleeding more from the mouth.  Her face is really swollen on the right side.  Her eye is weeping and the left eye is starting too.

KR came home and we drove down to the beach for a last walk with her.  It is so so hard.

The two ladies came and first she gave Gracie an IM shot, and she started to lay down and was quiet and then she put the IV in and pushed the medication and it took maybe 5 minutes for Gracie to stop breathing and they took her away.

Oh Gracie.  Mommy is so sad writing this.

You came to us on 2/15/2014 when you were 10 weeks old and left at almost 8.  We guessed your birthday to be 12/15 there about.  

I went for a short run and then to the jacuzzi.  KR drank half a bottle of wine and ate dinner and fired off three rockets and went to bed.

Working Thursday

 KR got up super early, like 4 45 and I finally got up at 5 30 and left for work at 6 30

Work was easy, we have a new extern who lives in PV  

Got home by 1 08  

Gracie is bleeding more from her mouth.  There is blood all over the pillow and bed.........  Makes me so sad that she is not well.  I am just not happy with the work situation with Will Weston too.  Guess I have to make some decisions.

KR went to the Board Meeting at Valor Christian school  The meeting was 2 and a half hours long.  He was tired when he got home.

Gracie ate dinner, left some in the bowl.  

She had a tough night.  KR had a fire and she would not settle on the chair with him.  She always just snooze on the chair, but her face must be uncomfortable. 

She would snort and get up and roll around on the bed and turn this way and that.  Finally at about midnight, I went to the other room to sleep.  She was snoring so much.  I think her sinus is really giving her trouble.  She would lick and lick and her nostril would  be so wet and there is fresh blood all over.  Her mouth sores are just behind the right canine and another one more farther back than that.  Started out as pin point sore and today it is about the size of dime and size of quarter.

OFFICE MEETING Wednesday

 I was a couple of minutes late to the office meeting.

My sinus has been just going crazy for months now.  Every day I don't know if I will be coughing for hours,  The post nasal drip or the coughing or the clearing of throat.

Will Weston still has not responded to my query for a meeting.  I just don't want to work for that man any more.  It is too much stress,  At my age, I don't need any of this.  BUT I love love my patients and just don't want to give them up.

WHAT TO DO

Office meeting 9 - 11.  KR is going to do RCT on Maribel's sister Sonya.

Came home and KR did yard work and I vacuum the garage and washed the bloody blankets of Gracie

She is not doing too well.  HARD to breathe and is not eating well.  We are cooking chicken legs and all kinds of yummy to get her to eat.  Her face is swollen on the right and she drips from the nostril.

Sometimes I just feel like there is a black cloud.  Kurt not doing school too well and Gracie not well and MOOCH NO MOOCH, guess he is gone gone and gone...........   me sad........................

After dinner we went to the pool for a short walk and jacuzzi.  It felt very good.

THREE patients Tuesday

 So we walk Gracie at Hickory.  I do the laundry changing the sheets. 

Jesse came and took KR out to breakfast at Eat At Joe's while I went to work.  Saw Joe Ward, then Jacob Wilson for the crown, and Jesse for crown buildup #14 DOL which we will do a crown next year.  I sent text to Will about talking to him.  I am tired of him ignoring me and not paying me and me paying the full lab fee.  That is why I did not do the crown on Jesse today.

Came home and there was a lot of nice cilantro and some tomatoes, but not that much food from FM.  We went riding around the alleys, and got soup from Sarah.  Kurt said that Yeye paid him 20 dollars to call Violet.  Oy Vey.  Something like he misses her so much that he wants to kill himself.  Oh man

We drove Gracie down to the beach and watched the sunset.  Short walk.  The chickens, Vulchi II and Blackie III are growing and fun.  They are in the garage.  TOO cold outside.

We had yellowfin tuna I cooked and KR went to bed by 8

GRACIE IS OOZING at the mouth again.  SHE LOVED my dinner of boiled chicken and wet dog food.

Monday 11/29/2021

It is Tiffany's birthday today.  

After walking Gracie, we went for a bike ride.  All the way from Playa Del Rey, off of Trolleyway Street to Santa Monica Pier, a total of 16.3 miles.  I was tired.  After eating a bit at home, I went to the jacuzzi.  Kurt was over at Yeye's.  The jacuzzi and the two advil really helped.

Gracie would not eat her food all day and I gave her a can of plain wet dog food and she ate that tonight.  She is snorting a lot, can hardly breathe through her right nostril.  KR went to Kurt's bed to sleep last night saying that Gracie was making too much noise for him to go back to sleep.  I am sad that Gracie's time is coming to an end.  Every time I think about it I just wanna cry.

Patty Lopez brought over navy bean soup tonight.  Just like what KR's mom used to make.  We will have for lunch tomorrow along with the fish I marinated.  Yellow Fin.  If I could only remember who gave that to us.

Sunday RESTORATION LIFE CHURCH

 So Chris Cannon is speaking today and he invited me and KR but KR says he will be going to BOH so I picked up dad and drove to Lawndale.  Just around the corner from the office.  Kurt went to COTB.,  Violet went home.  

Chris was good.  The music was loud and it felt like there was SMOKE too.  There was a lot of help around the church, kids club, sunday school, etc.  I stopped at El Super and bought 60 dollars of food and dropped Yeye off and came home.  KR said it was NOT REVELATION !!!  Oh man, the week I missed and no Revelation.  I am tired of that chapter.

I walked /ran 3.66 miles at 5 45.  Very slow

I biked 5.2 miles at 2 30 very slow too.

Kurt was over at Yeye and I made little cheeseburgers.

Saturday

 Gracie would not eat her breakfast this morning.  KR got two rats out in the yard in the morning and Gracie chomped them and KR threw them up on the roof.  A crow grabbed one and started eating it on the telephone wire and another one wanted it and the first one dropped it and Kurt threw it back on the roof.

After doing some house work and to the FM, we took the bikes down and rode from Ave I to El Porto and back.  I think it was 12 miles.  I was tired.

I then went to Sam's and bought milk and ice cream and all kinds of stuff and dropped the soup off at Yeye's and the ice cream too.  Violet is leaving tomorrow to go home.  She has an appt next week to see lung doctor.  I also stopped at the jacuzzi and sat in it for about 20 minutes.  It really helped to ease the sore muscles from the long bike ride.

KR watched a lot of TV and went to bed about 6 30 he thought it was 7 30

BLACK Friday but we don't shop

 So this is a pretty tame black Friday.  Only a few places are having these crazy sales.  KR and I went down to the beach to walk Gracie.  She ate both breakfast and dinner and seems to be doing a little better. 

She also ate her breakfast this morning.  Of course I chewed up some cooked turkey for her.

KR did yard work and I rode around the neighborhood and found maybe 100 pounds of pumpkins.  Orange ones, and white ones and decorative ones, mostly in the dumpsters and I had to drive back to get them before they were thrown out.  

Violet decided not to drive home today.  So maybe she will go tomorrow.  She said dad is better today, not so weird like yesterday.

We go to Ackerman's house and she says 5 pm so we show up at 5 but the Gooch's don't show up until 6 and Chelsea and family don't show up until 6 15.  Oh well.  So much food and we left about 8.

I had a hard time falling back asleep.  Went to bed by 9

THANKSGIVING 2021

 What a difference a year make.

Last year Kurt and I went down to Sams for our own VIRTUAL turkey trot in person.  There were maybe 100 folks running at various times.  BUT we were the only ones that brought the Stars Spangled Banner and the flag and ran right at 8 am

We got up early and when Kurt and I left to run, KR took Gracie to the park.  SHE ATE WELL TODAY and no bleeding.

There were lots of folks, like over 3000.  I DID IT UNDER 30 MINUTES !!!!  I did not beat Kurt he said 28 something and Mike Gooch said 23 something

Kurt dropped me off at the jacuzzi and I sat in it for 15 minutes.  No pain tonight.

I stuffed the turkey and placed in oven and then did a bunch of stuff like riding 4.3 miles to Vons to find cranberry sauce, but no go so I actually bought cranberries and made my own sauce, with our tangerines and sugar.  VERY GOOD

Violet called and said that dad was being so so weird.  He would not come to our dinner saying that someone told him that if he celebrated he would die.  Oy vey.  Violet is also spitting up blood more today and she said this morning he walked almost all the way to Target and that kind of exercise of course made her spit up more blood too.  She has an appt next week and will maybe have lung surgery to cauterize the weak spots.  I will get Olivia to work more.

Ronnie helped me clean up and Eddie brought green beans and lumpia and Will and Diamond came too.  It was a very nice meal.  We ate too much.  We cleaned up and went to bed by 9.

Gracie NOT doing too well Wednesday before turkey day

 We took her down to the beach and she walked a few blocks.  She has been eating after she comes back from her walk, and today she didn't eat all day.  She also bled a little oozing blood on the pillow cases in my work room.  She did not have energy.  She must have been hungry as she ate her dinner, mostly, around 4 pm

I went to work while KR went to COSTCO the day before THANKSGIVING !!  WOW it was so crowded he said.

I went to work seeing Mable Duncan and took the impression for her partial.  I hope they work.

I also picked up my number 2432.  Mikc Gooch and Eddie C are both running and I am going to try my darnest to get Kurt to run.

I stopped at Lomita Feed and got TWO NAKED NECK CHICKENS !!!  They are black/brown and black

One is of course Vulchi 2, and the other?  They are very friendly, and sweet.  I got the hamster cage back and they are living in it in the garage and outside during the day.  Tomorrow I will put them in the run and see if the big chickens bother them

LONG work day TUESDAY

 So I subbed for Monica again today.  The schedule was really busy but lots of them no showed or canceled.  I was there by 7 45 and started running at 12 30 and went for about 3 miles.  About is because i sort of forgot to turn the watch back on when I rested a bit, during the shuffle.

I also stopped at El Super to buy some cookies for the girls at work, six tubs so they all took one home.  Dr Fibi got one too.  ALL ON EBT !!!  Melissa, Yvonne, Angelica, Maribel Tracy and Dr Fibi.  

I got 8 hours and 36 minutes of sleep last night except it says that i was awake for an hour and 35 minutes.

I got home by 6 and cleaned up the 40 heads of lettuce and distributed a bunch.  Sarah made soup and we got a big plate of chicken katsu.  So much food.

I will go to Sam's for milk and chips and stuff for Thanksgiving 

Will asked for another loan and I gave him 50 dollars when he asked for 20. 

I went to bed at 9 46 and got up at 6

Monday and WORK DAY

 So Dr Desai is out of town for Thanksgiving so I am working today and TOMORROW TOO

The cat is away, MEOW and the mouse will play  EEEEKK

I got there at 7 45 and it was busy, but the girls all left at 12 15 for lunch and I stayed until 12 30 and went for a short run and came back to do the charts.

The run was a kind of a shuffle as my right knee still hurts and my hip is not that strong yet.  Almost 3 miles 

We had an emergency at 5 50 and I took a tooth out, #T.  I hope she does not have ANUG

I also stopped and got some guava pastries and some meat at El Super and some hot wings for tomorrow

Got home and ate and took a shower and wrote this and went to bed.............

Sunday

 I didn't get up until about 6 45.  Me and Gracie snuggled

Gracie would not eat breakfast until later, I chewed up some duck and she ate that.

We walked her and then to church.  Kurt went to COTB

IT WAS 83 DEGREES TODAY

I biked 8.22 miles

Hip was hurting a little yesterday and then MY RIGHT KNEE really hurt last night at the party.  My ELBOW is still hurting !!!

Saturday and Farnez's Birthday Party

 What a busy day.  We were up early and walked Gracie and I went to pick up food at church for the two families that needed food.  One on January street and Dolly off of Calle Mayor.  After I dropped them off Kurt and KR went to FM.  Only green leaf lettuce and some tomatoes.

I biked 6.7 miles and then ran/walked 3.28 miles.  VERY SLOW

We went to Farnzz's 60th birthday party in Long Beach.  The whole side of the drive way was a beautiful white tent with lights and table clothes and everything  The food was amazing.  And even someone tending bar.

Farnaz said she needs to have back surgery from the accident.   She does not want to but she is having a lot of back pain

My allergy is bad, so is my reflux

Friday

 I forgot to put my watch back on so no idea how much I slept.  I had a dream that I was keeping ducks and one of them was sick and I was trying to feed it some mush.  Wonder what that was about.  Its tongue was sticking out and after I fed it, it seems to recover some and I woke up before I got it back to a pond.

We walked Gracie down at the beach and Marianne came over with Jacky for his shot.  He shakes every time he sees me.

KR went to check the diving and brought home a foster.

We stopped at mom's garage and I gave away the kayak carrier, and hopefully a lot of other stuff.

I started a shopping list for next week, going to brine the turkey Sunday night, and then cooke 

Working Thursday

 It was a very easy work day.

Maribel, Tracy and Yvonne went to PTN and Dr Fibi and Melissa and I had the office.  Not too many patients.  Clay came and I managed to do two fillings and the sealants on him

Got home after shopping for turkey at Ralphs.  KR had just ONE LARGE beer.  Right.  He smelled like it.

Kurt was making more Jugger tools.

I went for a ride around 9 miles at 1 27.  Then a walk about 2 miles.

Read some devotional and went to bed early, by 9

Wednesday

 I like Wednesday as it is usually very easy.  KR went surfing while I puttered at home.  I cleaned more vegetables and did a little exercise.  I biked almost 7 miles at 1 15 after KR took a nap.  I also ran/ralked 2.7 miles at 6 pm.  

We went to the beach at sunset and walked Gracie

I found some lantern lights in the alley and posted some to give away.   I also put some up in the rafters in the garage.

I cleaned the garage and vacuumed. 

Jesse called and wanted an appt.,  He cracked a tooth.

Donna B came by and picked up the red wheel chair.

Tuesday

 We walked Gracie at the beach and saw Natalie.  She had the epidural but it did not help.

I did the laundry.  KR went to have lunch with Bill Johnson.  Kurt and I went to FM and got pounds of brussels sprouts and bell peppers and romaine lettuce. Then I had to go to work.

Mary lost her filling on #20, so I put in GI by myself at lunch.  Mable Duncan came for the PUD impression, but she had pain on #6, and I numbed her to clean the tooth, hoping that it is not cracked.  If it is, I would have to refer her back to Tom Omoto and possibly take it out.

Will Weston was working.  He is slow and kind of listing from the surgery two weeks ago.  He seems ok.

We heard from Penny that Karen's husband, Barrie, has cancer and is undergoing treatment. 

OH MAN

I went for a short ride, and a short walk.  Not enough exercise and too much eating.  We got some sushi this morning after walking Gracie.

Had a lot of roasted brussel sprouts for dinner   I cooked spicy, regular and Chinese style with soy sauce.  The spicy was not too spicy and the chinese and the regular tasted the same.  All are very good though.  I also gave away a LOT of food, romaine lettuce, and bell peppers, and squash and of course sprouts

Monday 11/15/2021

 KR wanted to surf but none to be had.  He went to Bruce's for his Monday morning group.  I went to the gym and worked out with weights about 35 minutes.  I tried walking Gracie, she made it about 2 blocks and refused to go any farther.  We came home.

I walked a mile, biked 6 miles, ran 2.58 miles, but very slow, 1515 pace, as my hip was kind of sore and my elbow was sore too.

I had to fix the outdoor chairs as the seats busted through, so I sewed two and tied them on.  I also tried the Sears Kenmore sewing machine.  Found online that it was made between 1961 - 1971 which would make it at least 50 years old.  Still works well.  Ne bells nor whistles.

I also found a bouquet of beautiful flowers.

Kurt slept for like 14 hours yesterday and did not mop.  I told him to mop today.

He said he did not register for winter nor register for spring.  Maybe he is not doing well in school.  Maybe he should just quit and work.

Will and Diamond said they are coming to Thanksgiving

Eddie C said he would come too

Brian M is coming so there would be 8 of us.

Church Sunday

 KR took Gracie down to the beach while I snoozed.

Kurt went to COTB while we went to Branch.  I ran first thing in the morning and got a fan, and some water bottles   I slept for 8 hours and 6 minutes.  From 8 52 to 6 11

I ran 3.5 miles.  I rode up the hill for lysine, 7 31 miles.  WAY up Crest.  It was hard riding. 

Today's high was 86, and tomorrow will be 77.  We will see, and Tuesday will be 67, well, 20 degree drop in two days. 

It should be cooler, as it is middle of November.

We went down to the beach at sunset and there were maybe 20 dogs at Dolphin Park.

Saturday 11/13/2021 JUST AS HOT

 So today hight was 84 although it felt like 90

KR and I walked Gracie down at the beach.  She only ate half breakfast.  Then he had KLUB and I stayed home and biked 3.38 miles at 9 30, then walked 2 69 miles at 10 30, then biked 1.6 miles at 1 15.

Kurt and I got a lot of food.  10 heads of green cabbage, 6 eggplants, 25 red bell peppers, green onions and scraps for the chicken.

Lomita Feed has small chicks.  I cannot do that.  To get one that young would make sure that it would bew docile but SO SO MUCH WORK

I cooked a lot of cabbage and gave a lot away.  

KR tried to go diving tonight.  NO GO    RED TIDE      He has NOT gone all season yet

Friday

 So we walk Gracie early to the park and she chased a squirrel and KR goes to have breakfast with Denise and Phil and Doug and Cameron.  I go to the lab to see Monika and take her impression, for an Invisalign retainer.  I also went to feed BC.  Mary is coming back today from her concert.

 Louie was there and was so nice to see him.  I got home and started washing my car.  It was very dirty.  It got very hot.  

GRACIE BLED ON THE BED

Yesterday Thursday was 88, today was 91 low of 73.  HOT HOT AND HOT

I also vacuumed the garage and use the new little vac I got from the alley.  Very nice stick vac.  

KR went surfing and I sat outside a bit.  It was too hot to sit long

I went for a 2.5 mile run.  

We walked Gracie down at the beach at sunset.

Dinner was ribs/chicken

I had great night sleep according to Fitbit, 8 hours and 13 minute.  8 15 bed time and 6 09 wake up, with 1 hour and 40 wake time???  Really?

Working THURSDAY

 So I thought it was going to be a VERY STRESSFUL day turned out really ok

I got to office at 6 45 and it was suppose to be busy.  THEN my 8 am crown prep canceled.  She wanted to see Dr Sata.  Then why did she make an appt on my day?

Then Kathleen Cummings canceled, saying that she was sick?  I was all ready to do her crown, recementation, and all.

Well, got done at about 12 20 and went to El Super for food.  Then went to the pool for a 35 min swim/walk.  I got a cramp on my right leg/shin/calf that I had to go sit in the jacuzzi.  Then for a 3.6 mile bike ride and right before bed, a 1.7 mile walk/run.  I also picked up the gerbil cage by Adele's for my future chickens.

I miss PC  she likes to go to the sliding glass door by the dining room and look in waiting for her 'cat food' dinner every night.

KR had a meeting with the Valor School board, and then went surfing and then Subway sandwich.

Wednesday and PC is gone.........

 We walked Gracie and then KR went surfing.  I did laundry/sheets, and then KR had booster vax at Walmart.  J&J

Corrina came over don't know if to help Kurt or Kurt needs help.  Kurt said she gave him encouragement to finish the essay.  Then they went to Coco Ichiban  

Olivia came and brought some duck.

After KR had his nap, we put PC down.  First I gave her 5 cc of morphine, she got sleepy that is all, then I injected her with 5 cc intrapleural morphine and she gasped a little and was gone,.....  

I buried her next to the fig tree. 

She was a very good girl.  I found via back pages that we got her in April 2017, which makes her only 4 1/2 years old.  KR got three new hens then, one I gave to Diane, and two I kept.  PC and Goldie, who died mysteriously.  Her chicken she named Moa and went missing, which we presume got eaten

I guess I will get more hens, but not for awhile.  I miss PC  she is so funny.  She liked to come to the back glass door and look in for food.

ONE patient Tuesday

 KR and I walked Gracie early and then I went to work.  Jacob Wilson had RCT done by Keith Komatsu last month.  I prep for zirconia and I thought I had Vana as another pt but she rescheduled, so I went to Ralph and got some chicken and sushi.  KR went surfing.

We got lots of food from FM, especially eggplants and zuks and tomatoes and BROCCOLI, and I gave stuff away.  I made a big salad and KR had left over, Sarah's beef stew.  We gave PC another am and pm dose of Baytril, does not seem to be helping.  She smells so bad.  I feel so bad.

I sent a PM to Ruth Sobeck the vet for advise and she SLAMMED me.  I felt so bad.  She said ONE SHOULD NOT ASK FOR ADVISE ON SOCIAL MEDIA.  What a GODless lady.  I shall not stoop to her level.

Charity came over and gave us a bottle of HARMONY red wine.  It was great to have a glass of wine with her.  Naby also came over and got the  box  of legos and dropped off some milk.  I will get some Eggnog from her tomorrow.

We went to bed playing sermon by Jack Gill and fell asleep half way through

MONDAY AND P C my sweet hen has a mass

 Oh I should have been checking my chickens more often.

I feel bad.

I noticed PC seems to have a swollen neck and when I picked her up, she is light and smells bad.  She has a swollen neck, just under the beak.  We tried giving her Baytril, and I accidently gave her Carprofen, then KR said to give her the Baytril, oh man.  

We walked Gracie and I checked the schedule at office to try to squeeze Mary in, and David Wilson too.  There is spot on Wednesday and Dr Weston said OK, so I scheduled her.  David I told to go see Dr Philips office and they had a cancellation on Wednesday so he will have the front tooth bonded there.

KR then went surfing and had a great time.  i

Sunday DAY LIGHT SAVINGS

 I with KR's help turned Kurt's mattress and did his sheets.  My exercise for today is

Run at 8 13 2.5 miles, walk .47 mile, Bike 3.53 miles, walk 2.29 miles and prolly a bit more biking  TOTAL STEPS of 21928

I picked up a food processor, under the cabinet kind and posted.  I picked up a laundry rack and posted.  I dropped off super glue for Naby.  I picked up a pan off the street and gave to Sarah. She cooked bittermelon soup for us, and pork and also got half a Jersey Mike sandwich.

Gracie's mouth look like the dead bone is coming through her palate.

We went to church.  Kurt had a fit.  He didn't want to go and so he said NO VAPE FOR POPS FOR SUNDAYS, oh man

I cooked pork, two styles, one soy sauce and one curry.  KR got El Pollo Loco chicken for lunch.  I snuck two pieces to Kurt

KR watched TV football while I cleaned and put things away for TOMORROW, Andrea will be coming

Saturday

 It was cool and overcast most day.  KR tried to go surfing.  Surfline says 4 - 6 and GOOD, NAH, no good.  We go down to walk Gracie

Her month sore on the palate appears to be getting larger.

KR stopped her Baytril for a bit.

Kurt went over to Yeye's and we went to FM, got some eggplants, and some lettuce.  I emptied the compost bin by the chicken coop and moved it about 8".  The way KR had it originally it was tilting quiet a bit.  Sometimes I think when he does things when he is drinking he is not thinking well enough.  My back was sore.  I put everything back into the compost and got three bags out to give away.  I will drop off for Naby tomorrow.

Sarah had her implant put in and I brought her some antibiotics and some pain pills.

She made us eggrolls.

My neck is still pretty sore but the puffy bulgy eye balls are going away.  My booster symptoms with Pfizer is so much better.

We went to bed by 9 30  Fitbit says I went to sleep by 9 44 but woke up at 4 48, which is not possible.  I went back to sleep

Friday

 I slept so well that I didn't get up until almost 7.  Gracie ate breakfast and came back to bed.

KR went surfing after meeting with Juan Gomez who was doing the tree at Sepulveda house.

I went for a ride about 8 82 miles went all around Marble Estates.

I printed a bunch of pictures of Mooch and put them up around here.  

I went to pay Juan, and gave him 550 check, as he dislodged the cable line and Spectrum will come tomorrow to put it back.  Juan was rude and said that NOT to call him in the future.  Guess he thought the work was easier, even though he is the one that said he would do for 600 dollars.  

My body felt pretty good today.  Just some bulging eyes and some sore TMJ.  I guess Pfizer is better than Moderna for me, regarding the vaccine reaction for the booster.  Some ache and pains.  I took one naprosyn today and last night I took a tylenol

KR lit a fire.  THE FIRST FIRE OF THE YEAR.  

We went to bed by 9 pm

WORKING Thursday

 It was a very easy day.  Many patients no showed.  KR came and did Jefferson endo on 29.  I cemented Oliver's crown on 7, a little short on M, but i managed to hide a little on the x ray.  Had some other problem patient.

Got home and KR went to his TB result and to see his new board.

Had more eggplant and cooked the as- para- gue, as mom would say it.

I went to see Rita and got her to stand up once, and we played ball for a bit. 

Kurt had school.

I went for a run, about two miles and then went to CVS for my BOOSTER of Pfizer.  Came home took two advil and went to bed.

SLEPT PRETTY GOOD !!!   

Slept at 9 pm and got up at 6 46

Wednesday

 If it is the first Wednesday of the month, it is OFFICE MEETING

KR went surfing and I went to the office and Juan was suppose to show up at the house at 9 30 and he did not saying he would be there 12 30 but he didn't and KR got mad as he terminated the surf early and was huffy.

I got home after the meeting and cooked a bunch more of kale and eggplant.  Sarah gave us Rascal chicken, and Violet gave us a few containers of YMCA food.

We had left over for dinner too

I am having a hard time sleeping through the night.

One patient Tuesday

 We went down to the beach and KR and I walked Gracie and I went to work, Guillermo Valenzuela and only one patient.  Dr Evans was there.  Dr Weston is having his surgery today.  Yikes

I finally transferred all the info from my old phone 8Plus to the new phone 12, and gave KR my old phone to replace his 5.  It was a lot of work, and I could not figure out how to do it for the longest time.  Technology is a bit of a challenge, never mind KR, he cannot do any of it.

KR and Kurt went to FM.  TOO MUCH FOOD.  Today was under ripe cantaloupes, lots of eggplants, lots of kale and lots and lots of tomatoes, plus a little bit of zucchini.  I gave most away.  KR caught a LARGE rat.

I rode to give vege to Yuan Yuan, and we went to pick up Jollibee chicken and went to Ellen's house.  She made this cucumber and tomato and apple salad and we had that and chicken and wine.  Kind of a strange dinner, but I think she enjoyed our company nonetheless.  

We came home and Braves won the World Series.

Monday it is already NOVEMBER

 We got up early and KR had zoom while I went to the NH gym and then to the 99 cent store.  STILL no iPhone case, but I did buy soda  We went down to the beach and then Violet and Yeye got their booster vaccine at Target CVS and I went to Walmart to pick up some extra strength ben gay.

KR cooked a delicious eggplant parmesan it was so so delicious.

My new phone came. 

The battery tooth brush came and I dropped off at Sarah's for Clay.

KR went diving but  came back right away  No go, to much swell

We went to bed, it is getting cold at night

Saturday and Sunday 10/31/2021 HALLOWEEN

 So this is Monday and I forgot all about the two days.  I am sure we walked Gracie and KR and Kurt went to FM and got all kinds of tomatoes and eggplants and fennel and romaine.  I rode around and delivered some to Daynah and to Kathleen on 225th by Chuck's old house.  Weather is colder now.  While Friday high was 84, Saturday was 72 and Sunday 68.  Today a good stiff wind is blowing

I did a bit of running and a bit of biking and walking.  I biked to drop off vegetables at Jon's house.  Ken DeYoung was working on their new front doors.  I ran 2 56 miles around the neighborhood.

Sunday was church.  Revelation is so so boring.  SORRY

Yeye and Violet went themselves.  I ran 2 68 miles and biked to the 99 cent store 6.3 miles 

THEN IT WAS HALLOWEEN

We must have had at least 150 kids.  Ringing the door bell and handing out the candy.  KR shot off some mortars too.

Easy Friday

 So we were up early and today, unlike Thursdays KR was up before I was.  No surf for him so we went down to the beach with Gracie.

Her palate has opened up with about a 3 mm lesion of dead bone.  I sent the pic to Eric, as I managed to take a few photos of her mouth when she is panting after a walk.

We saw the halloween parade at Hickory when we were riding our bikes.  We decided to ride around the neighborhood instead of going down to the beach.  

Then i went to get food from El Pollo Loco for Julie Jensen and Bill.  We had a Lovely lunch at their house and then she came by to see our kitchen remodel, as she wanted to redo her kitchen 

We biked 6 49 miles, then I ran .77 miles then I ran another 2.5 miles.

Kurt went to a party at Corrina's.  He dressed as Rick Astley, who I had no idea who that is.  Guess he is some singer.

Working Thursday

 Got to work EARLY, like 6 38 and was an easy day.  Kurt also came in for his check up and cleaning.  Dr Fibi did it.  She also did some SDF on 18/19 and 14/15.  He has DECAY starting !!!  YIKES

I left about 12 40 and stopped at El Super.  Violet dropped off a bunch of dim sum.  I need to tell her I don't like the kind she buys.

I went  for a 2.24 mile run, and a 1 mile ride and then a 6.87 mile ride, trying to clean the garage and put stuff away and take some stuff to Violet and Yeye.  

KR surfed today, and did the grass in the front.  He took out the plum tree a few days ago.  Mooch is STILL NOT SEEN, I wonder where he is.  Praying he comes home.

I bought a new iPhone 12 today.

Easy Weednesday

 So KR goes surfing and I clean the sheets.  I buy iPhone 12 but somehow the IMEI says that the item is stolen or lost and cannot bee unlocked from ATT carrier. I tell seller that and he cancels the purchase and refund.  I wonder where he got the phone.  He says Best Buy.

I clean and clean and cook the eggplants and all kinds of vegetables that we got from FM

We walk Gracie and watch sunset at beach

KR watches World Series and I emptied a drawer in the kitchen and redistributed the tupperware.  Looks better cleaner.

I run a little and ride a little and paid Olivia Lee.  She is leaving tomorrow.  Violet is coming.  YIPEE

Sunny and COLD Tuesday

KR went surfing and BROKE HIS BRAND NEW BOARD IN HALF !!!

I went to work, seeing Eddie McKenna, and my light died.  I did not charge it thinking there was enough battery.  I ran home and got the battery.

Cemented Kimel's crown and saw Maggie Pagan

KR came back and dropped his broken board off and went back with another  I cooked YF for lunch, and Kurt went to FM for food.  Lots of tomatoes and kale and zuks. 

Gracie is eating a lot better.  I rode around delivering food and getting some vitamins and chocolate.  Sarah sent some pho which is just chicken soup.

LITTLE bit of rain Monday

 So the BIG rain is suppose to come today.  But nope, no 4 am arrival, and finally about 12 it started LIGHTLY.  

Gracie finally ate some brekkie.  I gave her some chicken strips last night and she ate a little.  We took her to the park and she was really chipper chasing the squirrels.  This morning she ate yesterday's food with chicken strips.  Maybe just have chicken strips in the future.\

Maribel and Andrea came to clean.  Always so nice when they are here.

I am thinking of a NEW iPhone 12 mini.

KR had ZOOM with the guys.  But he could not get the Zoom app going.  I finally did it for him.

He went surfing after and came back saying there was no surf

Maribel and Andrea came to clean house.  I always like it when they come.  We went to NH gym to work out and a jacuzzi.  It was so nice to sit in the jacuzzi.  KR had some lunch and a nap. 

We went to bed early after listening to Zack Nazarian at Hope

Saturday and Sunday

 So I drive out to PV as it was LARGE trash pickup day.  I left at 6 30 in the dark !!!  It had rained during the night in PV so a lot of stuff was wet.  I got a shoe rack, some beach chairs, and golf cart and some other stuff, that I tried to give away.  Most of the stuff was given away.  KR went surfing, and then went to FM and got a lot of fennel and squash and I gave most away and cooked a bunch. 

We had dinner at Darlene's and it was so so good to get together.

We went to church on Sunday with Yeye and Olivia

KR tried to go surfing, but nothing.  We went down to the beach but something is wrong with Gracie.  She would NOT eat nor move all day

KR took Matthew and Bubba to a movie, and Kurt went out with the other Taylor, to Hermosa.  I went to Mary's and saw BC and got the yard ready for the rain tomorrow

THREE patients Tuesday/ Easy Wednesday/ Working Thursday/ Party at Claudia Friday

 So I worked on Eddie McKenna, with mysterious tooth ache, and the Di Nisha and Xylus, and then it was extra radish, kale and squash and eggplant FM

Wednesday was easy day and laundry

Thursday was working, got done at 1 got there at 6 49  I took Olivia to the post office.  She is so so weird about jury duty.  Evidently courts sent her a summons and she didn't get and they send another saying she didn't respond, then she called and they sent another and she didn't want to go but didn't know how to respond to the online response nor the phone system and she wanted to send her response back via certified mail and it was just on and on of question,  KR says she is weird and paranoid.  NO ONE needs to be put in jail for not responding to jury.

Friday was easy with KR surfing, and I was home, went for a bike ride and we went to Claudia's for Friday night dinner, only Mari and Helga came, but the food was great and Morgan was there too.  She changed her name to Luxanne.  I think

Our Red Rock, Valley of Fire and Las Vegas trip

 So for our anniversary, we decided, months ago, to go out to Valley of Fire.  Well, I found Red Rock Canyon just outside Vegas that is very interesting, so we left early Friday, by 6 am.  I made a reservation, and the drive was very interesting, and we did a little hiking.

Went to David and Shari's house, in Henderson.  They live in a planned community, and a very nice one story house.  We went out to a great Mexican restaurant.  Had great food.  Lots of good company.

Saturday, we left early for Valley of Fire which was an hour away.  We hiked and hiked and what a great park.  It was a lot of fun.  We went to Tiffany and Norm's house.  Norm went to watch Dodgers at a bar and Tif had cooked food for us and we went to bed early.

Sunday we went for a walk around her golf course, and then drove to Vegas, trying to get a bike and was not successful.  We went back to Henderson and ate at Pho Hong for a great lunch.  We went back to Vegas, and checked into  the Strat, a new BW hotel.  The check in took AN HOUR, the worse experience and the two certificate could not be used for some reason, just the one, and the room smelled like smoke and the hotel smelled like smoke and the sink was slow in draining and the toilet seat was loose and there was no SOAP !!!!

I made a reservation for Cirque du Soleil Mystery at the Mirage.  KR had TWO 25 oz 7% beer on the way to the show, and we ate some really good tacos.  The show was AMAZING and we walked home and went to bed.

The next day we check out and drove home.  We had more lunch in Baker and arrived home by 2 30 and picked up Gracie.

Easy working Thursday

 Got to office at 6 45 and got done at 12 37.  Met the new intern  Dr. Fibi.  She talks a little too much but is a very good assistant.  My first patient was a prep and didn't show up.  We talked about the day and she seems confident on doing the preps and stuff.

Came home and then met the tree guy about pruning the trees here and at Sepulveda house.

Gonna be thousands of dollars.  Martin was repairing the roof.

I ate more pesto.  Ran 1.58 miles at 13.34 min per mile

Got my stem extender and put it on my bike.  VERY GOOD.  Leaving tomorrow for trip

Laundry and Pesto Wednesday

 KR went surfing early, and I started laundry and then the cleaning of basil.,  There was so so much of it and most of it by now is no good.  BUT I did make at least 3 cups worth and froze most of them.

Also boiled chicken and made soup for Gracie.

Kurt threw a fit about working at Yeye AND here while we are gone.  JUST Saturday and Sunday and he called and asked Violet to stay until Sunday.  I had text him the schedule weeks ago but he could not be bothered to look at it.

We are leaving Friday and he is going to Yeye's on Sunday afternoon.  Violet agreed to stay until Sunday, NOT Monday like Kurt wanted.  Also Redondo Oral Surgery emailed and said they can do CPR this Wednesday for Kurt.  OH WOW  What a service

So Kurt said he is going then he needs to find the x ray course to get his license.  Right.  

We walked Gracie at the beach and it was cold and windy.  The sun was out but still cold to me.

I ran a little before bed.  Only 1.79 miles but good  little pain from hip

Crown Prep one patient Tuesday

 KR went surfing and I went to work.  Kimel Conway was the only patient

Farmers market had so so much yellow squash and basil and eggplants and tomatoes and some watermelon.  I gave away a lot lot of food 

I started cleaning basil.  Bought garlic, will make pesto tomorrow

WE HAD CONTINUE EDUCATION, AND IT WAS ON OSTEONECROSIS.  VERY GOOD

KR's computer died and I FIXED IT, the window key and B and the power button

Easy Monday

 So I didn't have to work.  KR went surfing, and I went to see Rita with Felicia Tang as her PT person.  We did manage to get her to get up and walk a few steps.  Felicia suggested to get a caregiver.  I think the Tunklerott's are just TOO TOO CHEAP.  I wanted to suggest that Kurt can do that for 50 dollars an hour. BUT I think I will stay out of that.

I rode around and didnt get anything

we got so much food  there was a food bank and Violet went and got 8 dozen eggs and steaks and chicken and all kinds of can food

CICLAVIA Sunday

 We were up early and got laundry done and off to DOWNTOWN LA with Mike and Carole Gooch.

IT was so much fun.  I put a big flower on my helmet and wore my purple TUTU and brought my Ciclavia foam hand that stays STOP  !!!!

We got there about 9 and didn't leave until 1, and it got hot hot and hot.  Downtown, MacArthur Park and Boyle Height/Mariachi Plaza.  KR got a sandwich at Boyle Height, and we got a donut at Grand Central downtown.  It was busy down there with so much interesting food.

We got home and KR took a nap.  I cleaned more house.  Carole said she took a nap too.

Went to bed by 8  I was tired.

BUSY Saturday for KR

 We walked Gracie at Hickory and KR went to pick up Bubba and Nathan and was at church/park the whole day.  I clean and went to FM with Kurt and got a lot of romaine and summer squash and kale.  Dropped stuff off for Daynah,  and transplanted a whole bunch of tomatoes and gifted them

KR came home at 2 30 and Adam Chen came for a visit and he missed KR

We went to Hope Chapel for church at 5 as tomorrow we will be downtown LA

Still having trouble STAYING asleep

Resting Friday

 KR had men's brekkie at Bill Johnson's so he was up cooking the potatoes at 5 15.  I was up too.  He left and I went for a FOUR MILE run/shuffle.  AVERAGE of 13.35 per mile, actually first mile 12 56, second 13 28 third 13 58 and fourth 14.  Slower and slower.

After KR came home we went to the park with Gracie then to the exercise room for a little weight lifting and then jacuzzi.

He then napped and I cleaned house.  Denise came by with Gaia and had a little fest with Gracie.  KR cooked the squash from last Saturday, and had some steak and squash for dinner.  Kurt was working on his essays all day.  Finished one at 6 pm and said there is another one due tonight.

Working Thursday

 So it was an easy day.  I actually cleaned some floor and re-stocked some stuff.

It was Dr Arusha's last day and she was flying out to Washington DC to look at wedding venues.  She missed some more decay.  So I wonder how to evaluate her.  She is so nice but needs more more work especially on dx and hygiene.

I was home by 1 and Violet had brought so much dim sum.  She is so so sweet.

I ate too much, both the chicken feet and dim sum and brussel sprouts.  We walked Gracie by the beach but did not wait for sunset

I was really tired but when I took a shower, I was wide awake.  KR watched some tv before bed.

Office Meeting Wednsday

 So Maribel sends an email and I DO NOT read it thoroughly.  The meeting is 10 - 1, and I come at 9 and no wonder no one is there.  Except Dr Sata and Dr Ryan Kim working too.  AND MELISSA IS BACI

I go home by 1 15 and KR is on a binge drink.  He was at least nice about it.  We measured how much he drank and he had 8 shots of the agave wine, which is 20% alcohol so equivalent to 4 shots of true tequila.  He napped for almost 2 1/2 hours.  

When we went down to the beach, his BAC was STILL .06, so I drove.

He had left over for dinner and I went to bed getting ready for work but I still could not sleep.

Tuesday

 So I had only one patient.  Mary  She is so hard to work on.  She chipped DO on #20 and I had to refill and she cannot swallow and gags and has to spit.  On man

KR went to FM and got more basil and more brussel sprouts and we cleaned some together and I roasted a lot  i like them very much

We walked Gracie first thing in the morning.

Monday October 4, 2021

 KR had meeting at Bruce's and then went to Bill's for chatting.  I did another load of laundry, and cleaned more ants.

KR came back and wanted to go to Rosie's but Gracie had chased the squirrels all over.  I rode around and didn't see anything interesting.  Cleaned the clothes that Andy Noch brought over yesterday.  Suz called me and said they were cleaning her closets.  So much clothes to be had.  I had KR bring the clothes to mom's garage.

I went to mom's gym and had a work out.  First time in a year I think.  I also rode around but didn't see anything to pick up  I listed to Rody bouncy horse and that thing is FIFTY BUCKS online.  You gotta be kidding me.

Sarah had spaghetti with sauce for us and KR had it for dinner.  I had more pesto.  No wonder I have heart burn sometimes.

It RAINED a bit, just enough to wet the ground.  BUT LOTS OF THUNDER !!!!!!   The lifeguards chased everyone off the beach, as you can really get killed if the thunder strike you on the sand.  We listened to Jeff Gill sermon and went to bed. 

Sunday

 We walked Gracie down at the beach and then went to church.  It was 90 today  HOT HOT

We went for a bike ride from Ave B to El Porto.  My butt was sore.  Jon Liu came by for a visit, he fell off the bike and cracked his clavicle.  Ouch

KR tried to go lobster diving, but no go, said too too murky.  He tried last night too.  No go  Season opened yesterday morning at 6 am.

Kurt had Yeye duty.

I made stuffed bell pepper, with meatballs, uncooked and cooked chicken strips.  They were very very good.

We are back and I am forgetting to blog

 So we arrived late last Monday night and this is Saturday morning   Where does the time go?

Kurt picked us up and Gracie was glad to see us.  Tuesday I had three patients, the Bernsteins and Zoe Brown.  Her fillings were high and she was sore.  I saw Magda and Will and Kathy  Magda is still not doing much and Will has not found anyone to replace her.

KR went to the FM with Kurt and there was SO SO SO MUCH FOOD !!!

We had a whole bucket of very good squash, Italian, and yellow and summer which I gave away, the last of it to the workers at NH.  There was twenty tons (oh felt like) of basil, and I gave some away and made a lot lot of pesto.  I ran out of pine nuts.  There were some tomatoes and corn.  So much blessings.

I worked on bills and scheduling Olivia Lee and Violet and Kurt.

Wednesday was  FREE day, oh so good.  Can't even remember what happened, but I think KR surfed and I made more pesto.  

Thursday was an easy work day. We still don't have Melissa.  She has been out for like SEVEN weeks now.

Friday KR worked ALL DAY, at Bill's and I drove down there to walk Gracie with him in the morning and did NOT MUCH.  I actually sat outside for an hour.  I did scrub the patio well, there was all kind of goo and sapote sap that i scrubbed off.  Kurt went over to YEYE's and Violet left to go home.

I cooked yellow fin and we had great fish and rice for dinner,.  Well I didn't eat any rice

OUR Florida vacation 9-20 Monday to 9-2702021 Monday

 So we started our Florida vacation on MONDAY 9/20, with Kurt driving us to the airport.  We get there early and are on a pretty sparse flight, we had the bulk head, and KR moved behind me, we had i think 6 a and b.  We landed and drove straight to Miami beach.  The water was so so warm.

We had dinner, a great ribeye steak at Oliver's Bistro, and then to La Villa Azul in the middle of Miami.  It was a room in the guest house, but the room was so so tiny.  You cannot even put two carry on luggage out together.  But we just slept there.

TUESDAY 9/21 morning, we get up and try to find a coffee place.  YOU WOULD think, but after going around and around we find Vice City Bean off of Miami Ave.  Not that great.

We drive to the keys, via the Old Dixie Hwy, NOT (1).  We did NOT see any crocs even through crocodile lake national wildlife refuge.

We stop at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and swim and snorkle, saw a bunch of cannons that were sunk into the water.  I took some underwater pics. 

We have lunch at High Tide right across from The Pelican Key Largo Waterfront Cottages.  What an interesting place.  The conch fritters have not enough conch and too much filler.  KR gets a large BUD and I went back to bed.  The dinner on the dock is very nice.

Tuesday morning we go snorkling again.   KR seesn MANATEES and goes over board to swim with them. On the way back in the kayak is tipped and I SAVE the phone/camera bag, without dunking them, and we cannot right the kayak so we swam back to the shore and KR rights it and we go back to find his sunglasses and hat, but he actually finds the hat, but no glasses.  We go to Dollar Tree to buy another.

We drive by this HUGE lobster and take a few pic.

Wednesday is at Coconut Cay Resort and Marina, and so is Thursday.  They have bikes, and kayaks, and we bike to Sombrero Beach,   We have dinner at Marathon Grill and Ale House.  Crab cake not as good as So Cal crab cakes.

We come back and saw MORE MANATEES by the back bay and KR sprays water in their mouths.  We heard they like that and they REALLY REALLY DID !!!

We have a dozen wait TWO dozens oysters at Sunset Grille and Raw Bar and then dinner at Florida Keys Steak and Lobster house.  One of the best meals we have ever had.

Friday morning KR goes yaking by himself.  I am getting another bout of MdDS so I go running and then to the pool.  Even the pool was getting me a little dizzy.  There are lots of chickens outside our room at the hotel  We drive to find Key Deer and we FOUND SOME !!!

Key West was too crowded and too hot.  We stayed at the Southern Most Inn, and go and take a pic at  the sign that says 90 miles to CUBA.  The pools and the jacuzzi at the hotel was very nice.  Iguanas all over Florida.  KR has a drink or two or three with Luis, who was vacationing there with his girlfriend Mari from Miami, and then it was FREE wine and cheese.  By the time we went to bet food, at Fernandy's Cafe.  The torta was great.  KR passes out and I ride the bike I found unlocked all around town,   Lots of people down the other end of Duval street

SATURDAY  We go watch sunrise and then more bike riding.  BUT I forgot to turn on my fitbit.  We go see Fort Zackary Taylor Historic State Park.  Then it was more food at Florida Steak and Lobster house.  We liked it that much, on the WAY out of Key West.  We stopped in the pool, even after we checked out at the Southermost Inn.  It was so so hot.

We go see Bill Baggs Cape Florida state park light house.  And climb the 109 steps to the top.We anted to stay at Coconut Cay in Key Largo but there was no room at the inn so we drove all the way to Florida City at the Best Western.  All the way from Key West to the mainland.  It was 95 bucks, cheap.  

Next day, Sunday morning we went to Miami Beach.  We got a room on the beach at another BW and rode our bikes, CitiBike all up and down Miami Beach.  We had room 911.

Next morning, Monday we rode the bikes the other direction   Last lunch before airport was at Rincon Progreseno on 1169 NW 36th Street Miami,  VERY good fried chicken

Flying first class home was a great decision.  Kurt picked us up.

ZOOM church Sunday

 Both KR and I were hacking and coughing.  We went down to walk Gracie and then stayed home to watch Grant somebody on Branch of Hope on Youtube.  It was nicer that way  Don't wanna get anything before our trip.  We saw Denny going to COTB and I asked if he was vaccinated and he said no and I said NO HUG.  Those people are so so weird.

We stopped at Adele's and picked up KR's sandals.  

We had left over lunch, pinwheel sandwiches from Naby.  I cooked some more ribs Kurt wanted them.  KR took a nap and Kurt drove over to Hickory to get someone to play Jugger.  I text Debbie, whose two sons, Josh and Tyler live around the corner.  They came by and fought Kurt for a bit.  It was fun for him, not just fighting mom.  I still have a blood blister on my left hand from fighting him.

I rode around the alley, nothing to be had. 

We packed all kinds of stuff and got ready to go.  Tomorrow to Miami 6 15

VAX and KLUB Saturday

 We were up early, I did a load of laundry to change our sheets.  I got the van and went to vax and KR went to Club at church.  There were four vaccinators, and not so many people needing shots so I left and went to Charlie Chicken and bought 12 piece chicken and drove to Ellen's and got the HP laptop, and then to 99 cent store and bought a bunch of food and came home.  

KR and Kurt scarfed up the chicken and then Michelle DeLand came by to buy honey and I went for a ride.  Adele said KR's sandals came and I went there but no one answered the door.  I guess no one heard me knocking on the door.

Came home and did some jugger fighting with Kurt.

Kurt went out with Jun and Taylor and Alex Pao.  I guess Taylor moved in with Alex.  Kurt needs to get his schooling FINISHED.  I hope he does not drink too much.

I was up at 3 peeing and he was STILL UP !!!!

VERY easy Friday

 ANTS AND MORE ANTS

They are still around

I sleep at 9 19 and woke up at 6 30  A whopping 8 . 5 hours of sleep  

We took Gracie to Veteran's Park and she chased all kinds of squirrels.  Then Denise brought Gaia over and they had a lick fest.  Gracie was sore in the afternoon.  I vacuumed the garage and sorted some stuff trying to give away things.  Nazareth came at 2 and KR went first.  What a great massage.  I went for a 8.57 mile bike ride, and then ran at 15.24 pace for 1.82 miles.  Then it was MY TURN

THERE WAS A 4.2 earthquake centered in Carson.  We all felt one giant BANG and I thought Kurt or KR had crashed onto the floor or something.

I cooked another giant burger for the boys.

Went to bed by 8 45.  VAX tomorrow and KR has KLUB

Kind of easy Thursday

 I got there at 6 45 and it was busy while it lasted because we had no assistant other than Tracy.

Arusha I think likes to work with me.  She wants to be able to do a pulp/SSC, and I am trying to find one for her to do.

We got done by 11 and I went shopping at El Super bought all kinds of meat.  Denise was here when I got home.  I started cooking eggplant/chicken leg soup for Gracie.  I then went for a ride.

Then I rode again to visit Rita.  She is losing muscle mass, can hardly stand up anymore.

THERE WERE ANTS AGAIN

I cooked a giant burger for Kurt and then some BBQ ribs for KR

I ran 2 miles about 13 minute mile pace

Lovely said mom is complaining of knee pain. 

Isaiah is leaving next week.  She is going to miss him so much.

HER box of presents came.  HIPEEE  I got some really cool clothes, and hot looking jackets !!!

I walked to dad's and back

VERY easy Wednesday

 We walked Gracie and KR went surfing, but there was no surf.  I didn't have to work.  I walked, then biked and walked again.  KR weed whacked.  Bill came by and KR cooked the fish Jeff Yamane gave us.  Kurt was home and I juggered a bit, so did Bill and he whacked Kurt pretty good on the forehead.  HAHAHA

ONE patient Tuesday

 Today's is Faye's 49th birthday.  Wow she is so so young.  I only had one patient.  I slept in until past 7.  KR walked the dog and then went surfing at the bay.  I went to work, just Barbara Pick.  Kurt went to Jeff's to pick up fish and then to FM by himself.

We did a few rounds of Juggers, and my hand is sore.

We went to CONTINUE education, at the Double Tree.  First time in more than a year.  Dinner was yummy, salmon, chicken and brisket with two kinds of pasta and salad and rolls and cookies.  Trent knows how to put on a show.  Topic was pretty good too:  Hygiene Superstar

Monday 9/13/2021

 I didn't get up until 7 30  and went to bed at 8 30.  So that is 9 plus hours of sleep !!!   WOW

We drove down to the beach and walked Gracie.  Andrea and Maribel came to clean. It is always so so nice to have them.  I drank a little cough syrup.  Had a little cough, but KR is better. 

I biked to the post office to return Brooks shoes, then to BNT person for the waterproof phone bag, a total of 8.5 miles.  The new seat works well, my butt less sore.

I cooked KR pork chop and hash browns and broccoli for lunch, after his THREE hour surf session.  Kurt got the same meal.  We did a little dueling of juggers.

I TOOK A NAP for an hour after talking with Cindy.  OH WOW, felt so so good.

KR eats another enchilada bowl, vegan, with fajita chicken and watches Monday night football

Sunday

 We didn't go to church.  We walked Gracie at the beach and there was a BIG swim event at Miramar Park, about 600 people racing, with the longest one being a mile swim.  COTB was discombobulated and settled to the south of the bathroom.

We watch church online.  Actually I could keep attention way better.  KR took a nap after doing some yard work.  

I rode around and went to Dollar Tree, then 99 cent store searching for cokes for Kurt.  I biked almost 10 miles

Then it was salad dinner, and bed

Gonna be an easy week

Easy Saturday 20 YEARS 9/11 later

 So KR is still honking and blowing.  We go walk Gracie down at the beach.  It is a beautiful day.  

I bike at 12 45 to distribute vegetables.  Just broccoli.  Kurt and I went to the FM and picked up stuff.  KR went to ACE but they didn't have fertilizer so he went to Home Depot and spread the stuff around the yard.  Smells rather chemical.

He napped a bit, and is still congested and coughing.

We had left over for dinner, I baked cabbage 'steaks'.  Kurt wanted to fight us juggers and this girl walks by, and he asks to fight, her name is Kuno and she lives around the corner and she fights him !!!!  We said ask her number and take her out.  She is only about 5 foot tall  HAHAH

We even watched ESPN US open tennis, two teenagers battled it out , what a game.

Kurt gamed a bit and I cleaned the chicken coop and KR watered.

Twenty years ago, 9/11 was Tuesday.  

KR was in El Salvador, with the American Ambassadors and Eddie was here with Sandy and the kids and flying out that night, which of course didnt happen.  They finally flew out Saturday, and KR finally came back Saturday too.  What a day it was

We got lots of broccoli, and I delivered a bunch all around and cooked some myself.

Friday

 KR and I walk Gracie.  He is not feeling well, just tired and still blowing.  I scheduled a CVS test and canceled it after talking with Diane, who said the health department, CDC etc would be after KR if he tested positive, so we will just let him get better.

He slept off and on and was congested and blowing and coughing most day.

I went for a bike ride (first one at 10 20 for 3.5 miles) after KR put the new seat that I got from the abandoned bike down at the beach on my bike so my butt would be cushioned a bit more.  Second ride was 4.8 miles at 4 15, and I ran/walked 3.5 miles at 6 30 and my hip was sore.

KR went to bed early

I sent 10,000 POUNDS to Isaiah to help with his tuition.

Tried to help Adam's friend Madison with a toothache

VERY easy work Thursday

 WOW so I forget my phone and thought, hmmm  what a long work day, but NO NO My patients cancel and Diego Chavez cancel the crown prep and I am done by 11.  

KR has a cold and is not feeling too well.  I get him a Covid test back in the YMCA lot and he takes the 15 minute test and is NEGATIVE

BUT, they say the one to the lab is better so if he develops a fever it would be another test for him.

We go on a LONG bike ride, Ave C to El Porto.  My knee and hip was hurting.

Kurt has some school  I told him to get a job.  He says he wants to work outside, I think that can be done but which job will tolerate his school schedule?  He should have gotten his x ray license and can become a mobile assistant.

I had some pesto and tried to control more ants and KR went to bed by 8

An Almost Easy Wednesday

 So today is work, but ended up my 11 am did NOT show and we were done by 12, so my lunch was 12 - 2  YIPEEEEE  Dr Ryan Kim was there watching and I had him assist Dr Arusha for a bit

I did a walk about around office at lunch like I usually do when I work a long day

But we didnt' finish until 6 15.

KR had done a lot of yard work outside

I made pesto and took a shower and went to bed early

Two Patient Tuesday

 I didn't realize I had two patients today.  First Margarita Garza and then two fillings with Zoe Brown, MOD on 12, and DO on 14.  

Came home and there was lots of food from the FM.  Basil, like there was no tomorrow, and then cherry tomatoes and romaine lettuce and some eggplants.  I delivered a bunch all over the neighborhood.  Also gave Sarah the mint that Daynah gave me. 

KR went surfing first, then nap and then golfing with Jon Remy.  We had dinner at Hof's Hut, and came home and it was hot today.  Maybe  80 today

Nice to see J, he brought up a box of old photos, and old letters dad wrote to J.  So so funny

LABOR DAY Monday

 KR goes surfing and then naps and takes Bubba and Matthew to the beach.  He goes to Jack in the Box first and then to the beach.   Kurt goes down with him and I go to the Kaplan's for a BBQ.  My neck is still bothering me, so after a burger and some lemon bars, I came home and went to the pool for a 30 minute pool walk, then jacuzzi and home

Kurt stayed down there a bit with Corrina, and some other friend.

We had left over for dinner.  Meat loaf and left over Mexican, etc.

Sunday 9 - 5 - 2021

 So KR woke up and went and got Kurt to go surfing.  I went there to clean a little and to feed dad.  They came back pretty soon because the wind had picked up so there was no surf.  KR and I left and Kurt said that Yeye would not eat most of the breakfast, saying he was not hungry.  I made him some spaghetti and fruit, oranges and some bread with peanut butter and jelly.

We picked up Kurt for church.  Yeye said his knee hurt too much.

We dropped Kurt off and got Ellen's two pots she wanted gone from Rita's front yard.

Then Ellen came by for Rita's key and stayed an hour, showing us her house, as it was constructed.  It is so sad that she and Brad designed and built the house and Brad only lived in it no more than a year had half and he died this March.

We went back to church for pot luck and had a great burger and wurst.  I brought a wurst and half back with grilled onions for Kurt.

We went and walked Gracie at the beach.

KR's 64th Birthday

 I didn't get him a card so when I got up at 11 30 to pee I found a GOLFING card.  Oh well.  I found a card I thought it was blank, and gave to Kurt to give to KR.  Kurt text me and said there is writing from Warren.  HAHAHA  I didn't even see.  He wrote a nice poem for KR.

I woke up at 6 and KR went surfing.  I started cleaning and doing laundry and transplanting.  He came back from a good surf and I cooked teriyaki cod and the left over from Katherine for brunch.  He took a power nap at 10 15 then we went to FM.  IT WAS SO SO CROWDED

We didn't get much to eat either, just a little tomato, and I had the dozen cukes from Naby so I made a tomato and cuke salad.

We went to La Capilla for dinner since you get combo 1 - 4 for free.  Dad (Yeye) was so so weird.  After we ordered, he said he didnt want to eat his dinner, and would just have chips.  I don't know if he was mad that we went Mexican or that he didn't like the food or what?  We, me and Kurt, could not even figure out why he was mad.  We said he can just eat half of it, if he could not finish, and he went ahead and and stirred his food around and said, THERE, and would not eat.

We just ate our dinner and bagged everything up and took it home

Sometimes I cannot believe how weird he is.

FREE FRIDAY

 Well, kind of

KR woke me up to WALK THE DOG, and I didn't want to but got up anyway.  I went to sleep at 9 pm and got up at 6 45  WOWOWOW

KR went back down to the beach to surf and I rode to Emy's to give her a jar of honey.  Rode 5.12 miles.    Also walked over to Rita's garage to get the coolers.  Nyssa picked one up and another lady is coming for the smaller one later.

Donated through Habibi for Mazin's wife, she needs surgery.

Katherine and John Crookston invited us for dinner.  IT WAS AMAZING

The menu was:   best ever margaritas, sticky cider spareribs, antipasto salad, fennel and apple salad, dulce de leche lava cake.  I ate so much.  She reduced the cider from half gallon to like a cup, with three hours of cooking.  AND she made the lemon thingy for the margarita, oh wow

Lovely tried to call but we went to bed

Short working Thursday

 Got there at 6 45 and was DONE BY 11 am

I went to El Super and bought a few items.  Posted the dog crate and the weed whacker and made meat loaf.  John and Samara Macy came by and KR took them to the airport.  They got the car washed and gassed up.

I went for a bike ride, 3.88 mile and then a walk/run.  I could run the first mile, but then my hip and knees, BOTH were hurting so I walked total of 4.18 miles at 14 43 pace.  NOT too bad.

Ants are still trying to invade.

I found a large Christmas Snoopy in NorCal and am giving away, several people want it.

Bed by 8 30  VERY TIRED

LONG working Wednesday

 So I had to work all day, and office meeting.  8 am was busy, meeting  9 - 11.  Melissa our dental assistant has COVID  oh man.  She is not feeling too well and is staying home.  Said she still has fever and headache.

Marc went over the COVID protocol, and I guess he is going to allow weekly testing?  I wonder who is still not vaccinated.  That is just ridiculous.

I got home and KR had done all the basil and I made pesto, and he cooked the eggplants, etc.  What a good boy.
