Well, as Texas thaw out from the great freeze, we will hit 66 today and tomorrow 70 and Monday maybe 73. The news are terrible with people frozen to death and pipes bursting and no water and especially no heat as no one in Texas expect the weather to be like that. Kurt said that because the Texas grid is only in Texas so if the grid goes down, they cannot get help from other states. Unlike the Western states, California has western grid with Washington and Oregon so that we can get help if needed.

They went to the farmers market and we got about 28 heads of green leaf lettuce and 14 radishes and 8 bunches of beets. I gave away a bunch of food. Jon Liu came by and visited a bit, and rode a bunch of food home.
KR juiced the carrots and beets (he cooked them first), hoping for no allergic reaction. He tried to juice cooked beets and just ended up like trying to juice cooked potatoes, not much juice out, and the mush left behind was very interesting, like mashed beets.
We were going to listen to a sermon but Lovely said to call mom and I had a very nice conversation with mom. She was alert and smiling and talking. I sure miss mom. I can see Lovely is tired of having mom there.
