Thursday off to Seattle

 What a morning.  Just   feels like there is so much to do.  KR went surfing after we walked to Hickory Park.  I just worked like a mad man cleaning and getting stuff sorted.  Took all of Lovely's stuff to the condo and picked plus.  KR lugged the large box of games she is suppose  to take back.

We had left over, I finished the soup and he ate the turkey sandwiches.  I also had to help him upload the innformation needed for his CCW.  Which was not easy, but done.

He watered and packed.  We brought two suitcases carryon style, back from the garage.  Uber picked us up at 2 40.  Will continue after we return.

Wednesday Office meeting

 What  a day.  First is walk to the park then pick up Gains soap, FREE then office meeting.  I adjusted my Snoreguard and pulled my crown (#18) off, and had to cement it back myself as Monica had to meet with the social media guy for the office, and he was late.

Then it was PT and then blood work, at LabCorp.  My appt was 1:25 and they didn't take me in until 1:55.  What is the point about making an appt?  NO IDEA.

Came home and tried to put the house in order so we can leave tomorrow.  Went to  pick plums at the condo and cleaned the  garage a little.

I also cyccled about 6 miles.  Didn't sleep too good.  I thought I did

Tuesday FM and Bible Study

 Well, I didn't sleep any better but at least I slept next to KR.

He went to Bible Study and I cleaned until my Senior Cardio class.  The classroom mix up means the class didn't start until 9.  Oh well.  Andrea and Maribel came to clean.  KR got a lot of zuks and cantaloupe.  We served watermelon and cantaloupe and plums for Bible Study.

I also went to Ralphs about 7 am to buy  milk and lots of maple flavored bacon.  KR went to Mom's to make the bed as the sheets were dried before going body surfing at the beach.

Angel went crazy after a squirrel and I shot at it and missed.  KR finished it and she got blood all over her face.  I threw it on top of the container.  Let's see if it is still there tomorrow.

Bible Study was good.  KR founnd out Zen Del Rio had committed suicide by jumping off the PV cliffs.  He went up after BS to see if he can see Roman up there, who is suppose to be sleeping there in a tent.

Geez, that is just terrible that your father commits suicide.

MONDAY nightmares and last day of June

 What a night.  Nightmares

I had appt with Avi at Rose Hills but I didn't get a piece  of paper signed so  I had to go get Lovely to signn.

Came home and  KR was eating lunch after having   a beer, and  nnot telling me, but hey, I found the empty in the recycling.  He took a long nap.   

I went to the condo, totally exhausted, and did the laundry and hung them out and ran the roombas and picked up all the plumbs.

Came home and tried to nap.  NO GO.

PT at 3 was good

Went to the jacuzzi and then brought the sheets back in and came home   KR  had left over and I just lazy around and read the papers.

Sunday Max and Alex's wedding 6-29-2025

 KR is still sick.  

GEEZ

We were up and DIDN"T go to church.  I cooked ribs and fish and and KR had some and went back to bed.  I went for a 10 mile ride and stopped at Adele's.  Of  course they were not home, but one of her brothers was there and  getting  ready.

KR slept for four hours.  

We got dressed, and I was rushing as the traffic now says 49 min and we left a little late.  I could not  find my eyelash curler.  Has been ages and ages since I used one.  We were by the mall when I realized that I forgot MY SHOES !!!  WE TURNED around and went bnack for them.

WHAT  A WEDDING

According to Adele, they spent maybe about 500,000 USD.  Yup, that much. 

Julie and Aaron saved us a seat and it was full about 5 15 pm.  The rabbi started down the walk at 5 30.  It was warm outside.  The invitation said BLACK tie annd there was still people in suits, and ladies in short dresses, ONE EVEN HAD ONNE ABOVE THE KNEE

After the ceremony it was suhis, time with  cheese and fruit.  VERY GOOD.  The flowers were absolutely amazing.  Then the trumpetters sounded and 7 pm we enter the 'Crystal Ballroom' to  a 12 piece band singing their hearts out.  With more amazing table decorations and flowers and we were assigned a great table.  We sat with Julie, Aaron, Sumi and Bruce, Isaac and Harry  and Jeff and  Julie and another couple no one knew.

The danncinng and the food  and the music and the HAVA NAGILA and all that

We were exhausted and KR had at least 6 drinks and cough syrup and he was so so tired that I was afraid he  would have a relapse of the cold.  

We left after they cut the cake, but we didn't stay for any.

I drove home and had a terrible night sleep.

Saturday 2/28/2025 James' 68th birthday

 KR is still sick

We were up early, and KR took Angel down to the beach.  Later we walked to Lago Seco Park.  There was a baseball game or twoo so there were a lot of people there.  KR took a nap when he came home, then ate something and took another nap.  He is thinking of not going to the wedding.

I went to my 10 am cardio class.  It was a teacher I have never seen before and she was great.  

NO NO NO

I went for a ride didn't see anything in the alleys.  My knee hurts.  I went to Julie's to borrow a wrap.  She  showed me all kinds of jewelry, her grandma had all kinds of fabulous and expensive jewelry.  

KR went to bed early.  I had to drive Kurt and Corrina to Aquarium of the Pacific for an 'after party' that Marathon Oil was putting on.  Kurt and Corrina took a Uber home.

Friday Pickleball and Bible Study

 Well, so KR is sick.  

He slept downstairs last night and got a great sleep score.  He is coughing a little but more congestions than anything else.  Tried to surf but no go.  He   took a little nap before our 11 am pickleball ball at NH.  We first shim the washer,  and he  smashed my finger  lightly.  Then we played about 50 min, I was  very tired  and got some blood down my arm.  Guess I scratched myself.  I also returned a volley with my right thumb so that is bruised too.    HAHAHAHA

We came home for lunch and  he took a  nap.  I tried but did not.  Adele and Joe  and Mary came by and we went  to the  condo  and  gave them a key.  

Then Kurt came home, early, they had Orange Coast College visit today and brought two extra lunches home.  GOOD BOY

We walked Angel to the park and had light dinner and went to Bible Study.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 6/27/2025

 So three days have gone by.  HAHAHA   

KR went to Bible study and I went to strength class.  Then I had pilates right after that.  I went for a ride and found some books and a vitamix but it did not want to turn on so it is for electronic recycling.   KR went to FM and got some flowers from Marie, and some tomatoes and not much else.  

John W  came by and we fed him dinner and  he went to spend the night  at mom's condo.

Wednesday KR and John annd Doug had breakfast at Hennessey's.  I had found some mushroom chocolate, yup, some ROAD TRIP Mushroom chocolate in  Kurt's room.  I was so mad.  KR went to the jacuzzi and didn't come back for  an hour.  He said there were too many people there.  So I went for a bike ride around, as I didn't want to face Kurt by myself.

Well, we had it out.  He is SUPPOSE to be trying to find a place.  Chris the guy he was hoping to move out with is in debt due to his DUI.  Well, duh, what did you think?  You can drink and drive and not get caught?

Well, it was just not a good night

Thursday I worked.  6 45 - 1.  Not that many patients, but my hand was hurting.  I took 15 mg mobic and it was ok until the end of the day.  KR had TWO LARGE BEERS!!!  And napped for two hours.  Said he thinks he is getting sick, so he slept downstairs with Angel.

Kurt had work all day and went to see Corrina.

Monday appt with Dr Eng and PT and went to Ikea

 What a busy day.  I had a class in the morning that I canceled.  Dr Eng was VERY nice and there is nothing I can do with osteoartnritis except take medication.

WELL!!!

I went to IKEA and returned the stripped curtain thingy.  That took about half hour.

I stopped at Superior Grocer anndn bought 100 plus dollars of meat.  I cooked turkey burgers and taco meat onn the grill.

Kurt had work all day.  I gave him Eeddie Chicken for lunch.

KR came home about 9 10  Had a great time raftingn in the river  with the church gang.

Sunday KR goes to Wofford Heights - rafting

 We were up early and KR goes surfing. Kurt had spent the  night  at Corrina's and he went to COTB and they went surfing after.   KR came home and  packed  and got ready.   Mike T came at 1 30  to  pick   him up to carravan up to Kernville.

Sleep score was 70 and I started working on the curtains and moving stuff around at mom's.  I moved the single bed so it is parallel to the window and placed the end table next to the wall.  I also took out all the pads and tried to give them away, but no taker.  I needed the twin bed lowered so the low end table can be accessed.  

I also made the bed up in the master, so the whole day was exhausting.

Went for a ride and delivered some squash.  I cooked some inn the soup too.

I went back again about 9 30 and the Navarro's were arguing and I guess someone called  the police and  they gave this Prius that was parked illegally at the corner a ticket !!!!

I went to bed at 10

Thursday, Friday and Saturday

 It is now Saturday night and now I can't remember what is happening.  

We walked the dog to the park at 9 30   I also biked to pick up the book on Kent street.  Also went to the bank to pay 4100 USD of James' momney.  His check actually came in from Sag Aftra over 5000 dollars.  HAHAHAHA

Then I went again  to the alleys.  

I am sore all over Thursday.  My deltoid, etc.  Sleep score is bad at 40

Friday was easy day.  49 sleep score.  Cycling all the way to Fernando's to pick up my kangaroo pillow.  I love it.  Sleep is bad.  KR tried to fix the washer and no go.  Patty said it was rattling around so much and we did everything and is still rattling.

I posted on BNT and a lady Lisa was giving onne away.  Front loadiong.  HMMMM  Well we shall see. 

Bible study by Jasonn and I just don't agree on 24 hour day for God's creation.

Satrurday KR went surfing again.  I got us a new washer for the condo.  It was so heavy and Kurt and KR and Corrina all went to help.  I  will make curtains tomorrow.

I went to ARMED chruch for the Mother Daughter tea and it was a great event !!!!  Diamond and Christine annd her other daughter inn lawwas there.  I had a great time

We went out to dinnner with Mike and Carole.

Job bible study and Pickle Ball today

 It is going to be 82 today.  KR went surfing, but only did a little body surfing.  I vacuumed the downstairs and the garage.  KR came back and started cooking the beets annd then getting the carrots ready for juicing.  Sleep score is bad again, plus I have an abrasion inside my  nose that hurts.

We went over there by 9 to play pickle ball.  VERY first time for us and wouldn't you know it, I tried so hard I could not move.  So we played for an hour and half and we were all sweatign up a storm, and KR is so so good at this evenn though he never played before.  Patty and Tom have their own paddles andn there were two in the exercise room so we played.

Tom and I were the team and we lost 1 - 3.  I had to leave at 10 30 to take Kathleen to her PT and I was starvinng and hypoglycemic.  I wennt to Sams to buy cat food and then dropped all the food off.  KR had came home and was juicing the carrots.  After picking  up and dropping off Kathleenn I went to the jacuzzi when everything was seizing up.

I laid around ALL AFTERNOON and my back and hands and shins and feet all hurt, plus my head. I did NOT go to Job.  SAD

Headache all night long.

Bible Study Tuesday

 So KR went to his class early and then to surfing and  quickly to FM and then to meet with Mark Regan again! to discuss his jaw situation.  Sheesh.  Mark still has not done anything  to get the monney from his brother.  I had a weight class and then pilates.  Patty annd Tom played pickle ball and  then came here for lunch.  I cooked the brussel sprouts and they had turkey/roast beef with cheese sandwich and I had some lengua, and they also like that.  AHAHAHAHA  Being chinese and all.

They went back to play  golf.  Wowo, and KR took a nap and I  tried but no go, so I went for a short ride and tried to get rid of all  the  vegetables.  We had some overripe  cantaloupe  but they  were good.  So we served that with some strawberries and couple bits of watermelon.

Cristian bought a lot of sushi  again !!!  Plus turkey  sandwiches and we  had the cheese platter, and added crackers.  The topic was the 9th commandment and the  discussion was 'lively'.  Burt says this is the most  unusual small group he has ever being in. I just flat told the group that I will continue to make small 'white' lies,  like  "YOUR dress look beautiful".  Pam did NOT approve but  hey,  that is why she never married, I guess.

Went to bed late.

Monday Dinner with Patty and Tom

 It was a nice sunny day.  KR had his group and I had some weird sleep.  I thought was good but the score was not.  Oh well.

I did a load of laundry and cleaned the house.  

KR went surfing and then had lunch, my yummy taco salad.  I went to cardio dance class at 8 30 then a pilates class at 10.  

I napped all afternoon, it seems.  Also cleaned the garage, getting rid of the bench was really good.  

Patty, Tom, KR and I plus their two kids, Nicole and Keith went to Waraku Japanese Restaurant for dinner.  Patty and Tom played TWO hours of Pickle Ball in the afternoon.  They are goingn to try out the jacuzzi too.  HAHAHAH

Fathers Day 2025

 It was a good day. 

Corrina went home, we were hoping she would go to church with us.  It was a guess speaker and I just could not follow him too well.  KR did not stay for Q&A as they were going to have a Father/Son bonding day.  They put the bikes up and then went down to the beach.  They rode along the strand and had lunch at Playa Hermosa and then came back for some swimming and body surfing.  

I was home and fixed my bike kick stand and vacuum and organized the garage and  cooked the taco meat.

We all had a nice lonng nap.  

I had a sleep score of 68 with 7 hours of sleep.  Wow

I cycled for 8 miles and tried to go running first but my adductor was too painful.

Tyler text KR and  tried to call him but KR didn't answer.  Will finally text KR at 8 pm wishing him a Happy Fathers Day.   SO SO LATE

Saturday flag day 6/14

 I changed the top sheet.

We walked Angel to New Horizon and tried to start the curtain wire.  Well, one of the insert was stripped so I need to order some more and return that one.  SHeesh  

KR had to go to the beach to help Donna with Royal Family Beach day.  Then we went to FM and got a LOT of brussel sprouts and I gave a lot away.  I dropped him off at church.  It was BBQ and beer day, so he ate a lot of hot dogs and drank two beers.  I picked him up, and he took a nap.  

I went for a ride and got six very nice plates, plus a bunch of recycling.  KR and Kurt wanted Jack in the Box, Corrina came over and had dinner with them.  I didn't eat.  I had too much lunch oatmeal/cranberry cookies.  

KR weed whacked and I watered the yard.  Tomorrow is Fathers Day !!

Friday Bible study

 We were up early, and  I didn't sleep too well again.  KR always have better sleep score.  We went to the YMCA for the fathers day lunch it was very good.  BBQ chicken, pork rib and sausage.  KR didn't win anything though.  

Came home for a nice nap, by KR  I went for a ride.  at 4 and got some clothes.  

Bible study was Jason on Genesis.  I just don't believe in the first few chapters that the DAY is actually 24 hours.  Will have discussion with Lovely about that when she comes. 

Working Thursday 6/12/2025

 I had some weird dreams and woke up several times, and finally at 5 30  to go to work.  The new  extern is nice and KR came in at 9  30 to do  RCT on  one of Maribel's sister.  #19.  He did a great job.  I had to do the build up as he had a board meeting at Valor.

I got done at 12 45.  My right hand hurts.  Sheesh,  and I felt like I could  not scale tough calculus too much.  REALLY???

I went for a bike ride and KR brought  three tacos  home.  I had a bite and we all took a nap.  I was up for my 5 pm class at the Y and  then we walked Angel around New Horizon.  She was very  excited about all the new dog smells.

Kurt cooked the orange chicken, and mac and cheese and I grilled zuks and bacon.  Corrina came and ate with  him and spent the night.

Wednesday more Job

 Well, guess I did't sleep too well again.  Bad sleep score.

Went to cardio class at 8 30 KR went surfing.  Was not very good he says but he just got some exercise.  Kurt went to work all day.

I did laundry, washing the large pillow that smells like Angel

Gave BunBun flea medicine.  She has been scratching

Went cycling and I forgot to mention, yesterday I found a new air fryer.  I will give it a try to see if I like it.  Also went over to mom's and got all the stuff for Savers and stuff for Steven and dropped the stuff off so the garage is alot better now.

Went and walked Angel at Lago Saco Park.  KR got a swarm of bees from the water meter box.  After Bible Study he went back and got them and brought them over to John Crookston and I went to bed by 9 15

Tuesday 6/10/2025

 KR is being weird for the last few days.  Who knows.

He had Bible study and I was fast asleep until about 7 20.  I thought I had better sleep, felt like it but nope.  Sleep score 45, bad bad and bad.

First is strength class at 8, with a new instructor, and I liked her.   Then KR came home and went to FM so I went to the cardio dace class, the SENIOR one.

KR had a meetinng with the Reunion Board and he had lunch at Lunada Market and I went to see Dr David Suh for my impression of "Mandibular Repositioning Device".  They took a CT and then a pano and Dr Suh scanned me and will be ready in about 2 weeks.  MAYBE

Came home and tried to take a nap.  NO GO

Bible study, 8th Commandment

Monday

 Don't even know what happened.  I guess I had bad sleep with the mask, and attended two classes at the Y.  First is cardio at 8 30, Then pilates at 10.  Came home and hung the laundry out.  We had taken Angel to the park first thing in the morning.

I think he went surfingn and I had ran the Roomba in the garage, and he cleaned them, after I asked.  The garage floor is so so nice now.  Even under the cabinets.

Kurt had work all day.

I didn't go to bed until late, listening he the Reacher story, but I still missed a bunch and had to repeat some.

Oh KR did go surfing after we walked the dog.

Sunday 6/8/2025

 I didn't even get up to pee and I thought the score would be great as I had some weird dream about me looking for KR and escaping from a high rise bburning building.

NOPE, score of 46 but I felt pretty good.

Went to church.  Kurt stayed over at Corrina's and didn't go to church.  Said he did it online.  He was gone all day.  

We walked Angel to the park before church.

Right after KR came back from Q&A we went to Desi's graduation party at their house in Gardena.  I had picked up a whole platter of Rascal chicken salad from Mike Ryan and we kept half of it and brought the other half to the party.  There were a lot of people and a lot of food.  We ate and came home and took a nap.

I went cycling to pick up some pants for Will.  I will give them to him when I  go to the tea at ARMED church  in two weeks.

KR baked a apricot cobbler after walking Angel.

I changed the top sheet  so dirty.  I also spent the whole day vacuuming the garage with the Roomba's.  WOW  it is very clean now.  And so much dust and dirt picked up.

Desi's graduation AND the quinceanera of Brianna

 WHAT A DAY

I got a great score of 77, but still felt tired

We went to the fire road, then I left for the graduation at Hope Chapel Hermosa and KR ate and went to the Amberg memorial.  He was suppose to go to FM but HE FORGOT !!!!

I went cycling for 8 miles around town.  Then a nap.

We left for the quiceanera at 3 and got there about 5.  Maribel says they start on time.  WELL, THEY DIDN"T.  She went to one too the same night and hers were VERY fancey with glasses and sitdown and all that.  Ours were plastic cups and Costco plastic plates and people were dressed fancy and not so, like t shirt and jeans.

We had a great time, and Gloria was very nnicely dressed and KR danced with Briana as the other abuelo and he was very good.  We got to bed about 11 30 and was exhausted.

Friday BLINDS got put on and I don't feel too good

 6/6/2025  D Day and Mike Gooch's 66th birthday. 

I got an 81 sleep score.  KR took Angel to the beach and I went to the cardio class.

We then went to mom's and got the blinds put up, and tested mom's bed  HAHAHAH

KR did a great job measuring and putting them up.  I cleaned and cleared all the stuff and posted the bubble wrap and they all got taken.

We decided to go out to lunch and tried Ubon Thai at Torrance rossroad.  VERY GOOD.  They have been there 11 years and we never tried it?  We order THREE items plus mango sticky rice.

I felt terrible all afternoon.  Queasy, even at lunch I felt a general humming and just not hungry.  Came home and took a nap for an hour and half.

Still didn't feel well and my knee locked  Had to use heatinng pad to get it unlocked.

KR went to Friday ninght light and I stayed home.

Thursday NO WORK

 AHAHAHAH  I love it now every other week work. 

KR tried to go surfing   No go.  I went to the cardio class and KR went to clean the condo.  Ic ooked ribs and zuks from FM and he had them foro lunch.  KR was at moms for hours and it looks very nice.  In the afternoon the blinds were delivered and we will go over there and put them on the windows.

I canceled my core conditiooning class as my knee locked up again.  I used the heating pad and it went away.  This is so weird that my  left knee is locking up so I cant bend more than 45 degrees.

I went for a short bike ride.  We walked Angel to the park.  Kurt had work all day.  His sunflowers are blooming at the ofice.  

KR's plantings are doing great and we have so manny monarch caterpillar 

Tuesday, Wednesday

 If I forget to post, I just cannot remember what happened.

I went to my cardio clcass but had to leave early as it was way too loud. So I finished the time on the stair climber.  KR  went to FM and got some zuks and some onions and  lettuce.  Not  much  We  went  to  Kalveras for  lunch,  cheap and fast.   

We tried taking a nap.  KKR had an appt with Dr Emily about Angel's leg but  it was getting better as we were giving her Mobic.  She said the bump on Angel's forehead is ok, nnot to do  anything.

We did nnot have Bible study which was good.  I didn't feel too good.  Tummy weird.

Wednesday  was OFFICE MEETING, and Mark and Lisa were there.  I asked him again  when they were gonna update  the website and  he  got pissed.   I guess I don't really care.  We ironed out the schedule and I am not working anymore than I told them.  No more subbing. My right  hand hurts.

All day I felt bad.  First my stomach.  Then I was at mom's working  and my knee gave out while I was trying to put the curtain rods together.  Then my knee WOULD NOT BEND!!!!

In the afternoonn we were going back to mom's to  clean and Angel banged into me, and knocked my knee and not is it actually just fine.  Sheesh.  

We had Bible Study on Job.  I was so so exhausted. 

I used the nasal pillow onnly a few hours.

Monday June 2, 2025

 What a lousy night.  Tossed  and turned and could  not sleep.  Finally got up about  4 30.  Put the dishes away and ate a banana.  

Went walking t o the park with  KR and  Angel  then to the classes at the Y.  First was weigh, and I think  I did my shoulder in, and now it is  sore.  Then it was pilates.  I was too hungry so I left at  10 30 and came home and ate.  

KR had gone to  Armstrong and bought a  lot of plants.  He worked for hours planting and weeding, all for the butterflies.  I washed Kurt's blanket.  He spent the night at Corrina's.

I also cleaned and went for a ride.  Got a big jacket.

Cooked some pork stew, with celery.   Very good.

Took a long nap.  An hour and 20 min    Felt queasy most  of the a fteroon

Church and Nap Sunday

 So I used the nasal MASK last night and sleep score was 61.  An improvement but I don't like the  mask.

We walked Angel to the park.  She is limping less but KR is still taking her to the vet to have the bump checked out.  Today was the last of her Mobic pill.

We went to church.  Kurt was slightly  late.  He had an appt with Corrina (counseling) again at 1.  Wonder who sees them on  Sunday.   I cooked fried chicken and KR already had some breakfast, he had lunch ad we took a nap.

I had a weird dream that I was on a levee ad there was an  alligator inn the water and the levee was tiltign and I  was falling into it and I woke up (still in the dream) and was telling  KR about my dream when I really woke up and HAD TO TELL HIM MY DREAM AGAIN.  It  was so so weird.

I went for a ride pickcing up some Dove body wash.  Gonna  leave at the condo.  Getting everything ready for the guests coming.

I could not sleep  ad went to bed about  10 and tried the maskk and said NOPE  and took it off and could  nnot sleep  all night. 

Oh so many CAULIFLOWER Saturday anniversary of Father's passing THREE YEARS

 This is the last  day of May.

Father passed three years ago now.  I talked  to Mimi, Seems like no one  misses him.  Warren wants  a  divoorcce I guess  because he had a girlfriend.   Like father like son.  

KR went surfing after we walked Angel at Miramar Park.  She  is  still limping a little.  But she is onn Mobic so is getting better.  

KR went to FM and got about 50 heads of  cauliflower.  We m ade cauliflower rice annd  soup with cauliflower.  

Kurt went  to the airport to pickc  up Corrina.  They were in Boston for Connor's girlfriend's graduationn or something like that.

He stayed up there until 2 or so.

We went to the jacuzzi and then dinner.

Friday night light with Jason

 I was not sleeping well.  Sleep score 50  Sheesh

First went to cardio class.  Rather  slowly.  Then it was yoga  

KR went on a  bike ride with Flip and then had dinner at Baja Sharkeez  whicch he had only one beer.

I was home most day.   Did not feel too good.

Went to Friday nnight light with Jasonn and I don't believe the 7 24 hour period in Genesis, neither does  Lovely.

Working Thursday, sort of

 I was up and ready for work.  It was so weird to go to work after having almost a month  off.  Last time I worked was May  1, and today is the 29.

However, half  of my patients canceled so I was done by  9 30.  YIPPEEEE

I went to El Super  and bought over 100 dollars worth of meat and stuff.

Came hoome and KR did NOT HAVE ANY ALCOHOL !!!   Cat was away and the mouse did NOT play.

I made tendon and then brisket and cooked all the vegetables.  Very dizzy so laid around all afternoon.  KR went surfing in the afternoon after a nap and I went to the 5 pm Core class.  I needed it.  

Kurt had work all day.  I even prepped his lunch this morning.  Fried chicke, yogurt, banana and Gatorade.

 So I  got poor sleep score.  We went down to the beach and only walked Angel around Miramar park.  She is still limping.  I went to the Social Security office and there was 15 people already lined up.  I was there 15 min early.  

By 9 30 I was done.  They recorded that mom had passed away on  5/7 and   no more checks would  be forecoming.

Stopped at Optum and got the list of  the dentist that  will be making my Mandibular Repositioning device.  I called Night Owl and made an appt for this  Friday.

Came home and  KR HAD ANOTHER BEER, a large one. I thought after yesterday, in which he drove while with .05 BAC that he would not drink for awhile.  

I WAS WRONG

He finished the floor board and I went to mom's and spent about an hour and half cleaning the windows and all that.

We had light dinner and went to church for Bible Study on Job

Tuesday 5/27/2025 Diane Krieger's Birthday

 I was up before KR's alarm went off, dreaming about cutting out a silhouette of a snake but someone lost parts of it.  Weird dream.

I did laundry and KR went to his class.  I canceled mom's account with chase.  Will be calling social security to stop the payments and the insurance too.  A lot of things to do

 Memorial Day 2025

We were up early  but  not walking Angel.  She is limpinng from prolly chasinng a squirrel.  KR tried to go surfing but no go.  He took all the baseboard out of the bathroom and then we went to NH for a hog dog.  He ate onne and half and i had half.  It was nice to see all the old folks having a good time.  Nick Blaney  of course, played on  the band.  No boat races.

We came home and KR took a nnap.  I went to  TWO classes, first cardio, came home for half hour and then  pilates.  I also went cycling in the afternoon.  Saw a bunch of stuff just past Adele's house and KR went back to get a BBQ and two bed frames.  HAHAHAH

I cooked the fish on the new BBQ.  Seems to work well.  

Kurt was gone all day and came home about 11 30

Sunday and too much gardening 5/25/2025

 KR and I went down to the sand to walk Angel.  Sleep score was 79 and had some convoluted dreams.

KR went back for some bees that were in the  parking lot.  Then it looked like he didn't get the queen so he went back.  Kurt and I went and he was late.  We were a bit late too and I don't like being late.  We were late to Friday Night lite and didn't seen to bother KR.

After church, KR did not stay for Q&A and we came home and checked on bbhe bees and I started yard work.  I pruned most of the juniper and made them into  small balls.  It was too much work.  I also whacked some rosemary  and some of the grass looking thing.  I was pooped.

I went on a ride to pick up the plate covers.  Over on Danaha by Donna's house.  I rode over 10 miles.  

We had left over for dinner, and tomorrow will have fish.  Kurt went to a counseling session with Corrina and then up to her house.  Guess he is not coming home tonight.  

I was in bed by 9 15.

Saturday and Black Bear Diner 5/24/2025 sleep score 76

 I got better sleep after I taped my mouth, but KR hsd to wake me to turn over.  I don't know why the nose piece keeps coming undone.  I need to try the madibular repositioning device.

KR went surfing and Kurt did laundry.  He didn't get up  until 11 30 and then slept all afternoon too.

I drove to Meli's to drop off some food for her critters.  She gave us a lot of fish.  I also went to Jim's and gave him a bunch of food for his critter.  I stopped at Ace and bought some orchid mix so tomorrow I will transplant some orchids.

KR took a nap and then went to buy a lot of soil from Home Depot.  He transplanted the azealia that Suz gave me and put the potting soil in the raised bed and at mom's too.  

We went to Black Bear Diner and by  chance saw Katherine and John there.  We had a great meal and conversation.  I pray  to have better sleep tonight.  I did get 7.5 hours of sleep.

Friday Bible Study

 Today is MUCH better in terms of dizziness than yesterday.  I didn't use the CPAP so the sleep score is 62.  Not too good.  KR went surfing and I did a load of laundry then did TWO classes at the Y, very slowly.  First Core Conditioning and then yoga.  Toshi thought I was too unsteady to be in that class.  HAHAHAHAHA

KR had lunch while I went to Costco to get a receipt for the Eufy.  One in the back yard wonn't ccharge.  The one by Kurt's window would not sync, but I called them and got it done.

I sent everything to Eufy, they will send me a nnew one.  Warranty is one year.

I tried nappinng for several hours.  NO GO

Tuesday Wednesday and NO work Thursday

 Well I forgot to write Tuesday and then Wednesday and now it is Thursday evening so here goes three days.

Tuesday skeeo scooore was 73, Wednesday 87 and today 66  I know I didn't sleep too well last night.

I know we had Bible Study Tue night and got some lettuce for the chickens and some strawberries that we served.  We had lunchc at Kalvera's and it was very good taco.  I ooly had two.  KR had FOUR plus fish taco.  Said he ate too much.

Wednesday I went to mom's to measure the big slidig glass and hope to order drapes and some kind of curtain rod or the tension wire like what we have in the shower here.  I went to Vo'ns to get Adele and my RX.  Then I stopped at Sam's club and got some bananas and cat wet food. 

Today I felt BAD all day.  Queasy and nauseous and very  dizzy all day.  My vision felt bad too.  We went downn to the beach for a walk and then it was just not doing muchc all day for me.  KR and Flip went for a bike ride and a swim and lunch.  I went to the post office and mailed a card to Dan Parkins.  He sent me a very nice card.

I am praying I feel better tomorrow 

Monday 5/19/2025

 If mom and father were still alive and married, today would have been their 69th wedding anniversary.

But it isn't as they  are both gone and long divorced.

We were up and I got a sleep score of 84  WOWOWO  However, the hissing kept KR awake so he had to nudge me to turn over the other way.  

He tried to go surfing.  No go.  We walked to the park and I finished the curtains and went over and hung them at the  condo.  KR had his beer and then ordered the blinds from Costco/Bali and hopefully  he did the right thing.  Then it was lunch and a nap. 

I went to the pilates class and the cardio class.  Then I had an appt with Dr Feder at 5 and got out of there at 6 30.  SHEESH

Got two injections, one in the iliopsoas region and one in the adductor muscle and we shall see if that works.

He wants me back in two weeks. 

The other doc, Not Feder who did the injection.

KR took Angel to the golf courese and they CALLED THE POLICE !!!!   HE IS NOT WALKING THERE AGAIN !!!!

AND WE FORGOT TO ORDER FREE {PANCAKES)!!!!!!!

We were up early a nd walked Angel to the park.  Then Kurt went to COTB and we went to Branch.  KR went to Mary's old place to get some avocado sticks for grafting.  So we both drove.  He stayed for Q7A.

After church, KR did grafting and I did the curtains.  Well, the outside ones were suppose to be a little longer than the inside ones.  Didn't happen that way.  Heck, I still hunng them up.  No one can tell the bottom is a little off.

Then KR had a 'power nap', which turned into a LONG nap.

We then went to the condo and measured the windows and I need to try to order them tomorrow.

Kurt and KR and I wennt to Norms.  We got a 20 dollar off cocupon from the run and then I redeemed some points so we ate three meals plus a lot of left over for 20 bucks.  

Patty's  back went out so I brought her two back braces and a bunch of meds.  She was laying on the ground in pain!!!  After the muscle relaxant and the back brace she felt much better.

Saturday and it drizzled RUN Torrance 5K

 Soo I was up early  and had a weird dream.  The dream was first  about  buying pineapple ccakes at  a Japanese toouorist attraction, but the shop  had closed.  I was there with May Chang and Rocky.  

Then KR came by on an EBike with Tyler  on  the  back, and then I was riding trying to ccatch up but it was dark and hard to see and then was day light and we went to a water fall and Tyler got his shoe stuck in the water crevice, and I was giving him something to eat and part of the sandwich fell into the water.  And people were jumping into the swimming hole at the bottom of the waterfall but it was kind of tiny.

AND THE SLEEP SCORE WAS 83.  Lots of REM so I had the dream.

The race was at 8 and I rode my bike as Kurt was late of course.  He drove and parked and I ran it under 10 min mile !!!!  Hurray.  Mike ran with me almost the whole time and Kurt barely beat him.  We collected a LOT of loot.

KR went to Walk for Life at Veteran's Park and collected loot too.

We went to FM and  got 10 plus FLATS of strawberries and gave so much away in a very short time.  We froze a bunch and Chuck gave us a strawberry pie.  WOWOWOWOWOWO  

I tried to nap.  Stomach not feeling good.  Ate some burnt toast finally  KR walked Angel at the golf course.

Went to bed by  9 30

Friday lazy day ad dizzy day

 Julie Jensen is getting a divorce!!

Adele text me that I need to get in touch with Julie.  OH NO I thought, no onne died.  Well, the marriage died.  It has beenn long time coming.  I thought so.  Bill does nothign and Julie does everything.  Very sad.

I had better sleep but still felt dizzy and tired.  The meds : klonnipin .25 sort of annd half of effexor 37.5.  Has not done anything yet.

We went to Veterann's park annd walked Angel early.  No surf for KR.  I went to my cclass, cardio dance and KR went up to switch the nuke at Helen's.  I made spaghetti with sauce and KR had that for lunch.  He took a nap.  I went down to the village and got my number for tomorrow race  117.  Kurt is 118

Went to the alley and didn't see anything.

Went to Bible Study and Corrina came by.  Kurt made more noodles and they had that for dinner

Thursday NO WORK CDA coventiion

 So I usually  work every other Thursday but they all went to the convention so I had the 'day off'. 

I didn't get out of bed until 6 and I  had to get up 3 or 4 times to pee.  What is up with that??  KR went surfing and of course I started doing a load of laundry, and cleaning.  I took the bins out from under the computer room bed and sorted through all kinds of stuff.  Gave away stuff that I would not wear and looked throught the kids' baby  clothes and saved some and trashed some.

KR had Valor meeting and I had a cardio class at 9 30 but i was a little late.  I went to Sally's and dropped off the nonworkign vacuum, then to Steven's and dropped off clothes.  Went to mom's to pick up the drapes so I can shorten them here.  Came home and Suz was just leaving.  She brought flowers and snacks and plums.   We chatted for about a hour.  What a blessign they are.

KR took a short nap and I went for a ride at 3.  Got a very good jar of beets and some fruit in a cup.  Valor had open house and KR went back.  He had the left over cheeseburger for dinner, before he left.

I was really dizzy when Suz was here, but in the evening was a little better. 

Wednesday

 My sleep  score went downn to 39 again.  I thought i had pretty good sleep.  NOPE.  NO REM at all.  5.5 hours  of sleep and 39.  Gonna be tired. But that is ok, I donn't gotta do nothig today.  

I went to cardio class at 8 30  with Karmina and then another cardio fusion dance with  Kyle.  The class with  Kyle was PACKED at 5 pm.

I also cycled  for 6.55 miles all around the neighborhood.  Didn't get anything except a bag of recycling.

KR went surfing and Kurt had work all day.  My stomach was a bit upset.  Maybe from the Effexor, which I cut in half now.  Trying to see if that would help the vertigo.

The weather turned cold.  Not like last weekennd, high in the 60's again  I tried sending more Power of Attorney to Green Hills.  I doon't kow why they said they need that.  Also trying to decide how much to sell the plots at Rose hills.

Tuesday and Bible Study *

 KKR went surfing after his morning Bible Study and I changed the sheets and did laundry.  He went to FM and  got some lettuce, very little, but some very nice  strawberries.  I  started taking Effexor and  seems to be helping with the sadness.  Praying it would  help  with the dizzinenss.

Lunch was  BLT and diner was hotdog and kraut.  Cristian brought sushi and chocolate and chicken.  Kurt had work all day.  We walked Angel to the park before everyone came.

I read to the group mom's obit.  Just can't seem to put it out there yet.

Eddie still has not decided on what he is doing.

I spoke with Rose Hills and Green Hills and working on gettinng the money back for the mortuary part of the fees that we paid for mom.  Over 5000 bucks !!  They want the death certificate and the cremation center paid in full receipt.  What a weird request.  What difference does it make?  As lonng as they have the DC should be fine.  

Green Hills said that to 'WITNESS' the burial of the urn, it would be EXTRA 450 bucks.  NO THANKS !!

We will hand over the urn and then have a picnic at gravesite and that is that.

Monday and so full of grief

 Don't know what happened, but I just could not shake the aching feeling in my heart today.

I was up by 5 could not sleep.  KR went surfing and I stayed hoome of course, and had a clcass at 8 am and another one at 10.  It was hard as I was so dizzy trying to do the YMCA classes.  Pilates did not feel like pilates, and wt training was good but I tried to stress my  shoulder.  

Had a nice chat with  Pam.  

Had a nice chat with Irina Dean.

Made cheeseburgers for dinner.  Kurt worked all day.  KR got all the whale bones out of the alley  dumpsters for me.  They look great.

Talked to Lovely for 45 min.  That was very  very  good.  I just can't cry  anymore. 

Mother's Day 2025

 Oh what a day 

First time in 66   years I don't have a physical mother on this earth.  I got up at 6 15 and had 9 hours of sleep  but the score was 46.  KR went surfinng at Burnout.  Many  people  text me happy  mothers  day.    I am still in a  fog.  Watched Lovely's sermon online at her church this morning.  She is going to bring some of mom's stuff back when she comes this summer.

I finally g ot the  miles transfered and got her ticket for this summer THREE weeks.

We went to church.  Kurt  and I drove as KR had duty.  We came home and took Angel to the Fire Road for a walk.  She didn't want to go so KR carried her.

Came home and took a nap.  I was so  so tired.  Went for a bike ride and found a rolling back pack.  KR and I cooked dinner.  Wagu  beef, orange chicken,, vege and rice plus choco cookies for dessert. 

Corrina came by and brought  me  some flowers and  a GLASS flower,  I really l ike it

Kurt made me a  beautiful card, and bought me  a bird bath, and Helen gave me a book.

Saturday and oh so so tired and dizzy

 So the watch refused to log my sleep.  HAHAHA  I went to bed at 1 finally after the ashes were done and I spoke with James and Lovely as Alan was driving.

IT IS STILL SO SO WEIRD

I was up by 5 30  could not sleep

KR went surfing and I cleaned of course.  Then we went for a bike ride after he ate something.  We rode from the village to MB pier.  Got 8 bottles of Gatorade alkaline water.

Came home and I cooked taco salad stuff andn KR went to Kathleen's and unclogged her bathroom sink.

He took Angel to the golf course.

Kurt came home mid day and wennt down for a little surf sessionn.  

I  tried napping, as I was so so tired.  BUT could not sleep. Yesterday never even got a sleep score,   I started napping at 8 

Friday YMCA mothers day luncheon Plus Cardiologist, plus pulmomologist

 5/9/2025

Mom got cremated today.

I was up  super early and the watch says I didn't get very good sleep.  KR took Angel as I had cardiologist appt.  Had a heart ECG, also known as sonogram.  I have an enlarged LEFT VENTRICLE!!!  

Why, no one knows.  Dr Yan referred me to Dr ENG the rheumatologist  and I made an appt for next month.  He thinks maybe I have autoimmune that is why my heart is slightly enlarged and that I have joinnt pains.  Who knows.

We went to the YMCA luncheon and there were alot of people.  Our table was chosen second so we got our food pretty quick.  Chicken with noodles and potatoes annd salad and cheesecake and milk/juice and roll.  All very good.

We cacme home and I took a nap before my 3 pm Pulmonologist appt.  Dr Thai, who is ordering me another kid of mask and is channgingn the pressure to 10

Got home and KR went to pick up sandwiches and then to church Bible study.

Lovely live streamed the crematorium.  

Thursday and I didn't have to work 5/8/2025

 KR and I went to take Angel to the Fire Road.  SHE WOULD not go.  So we tried to find Prince, and he was nowhere to be found.  We came home.

My sleep score  58   KR sleep score 85!!     😂😩

We had gottenn some blankets in the alley  and I washed them.  Alsoo a vacuum but it would not work so we need to take to E-Waste

Maribel came over with a dozen guava pastries and flowers.  Naby came by with a box of pastries from JJ Chiense bakery.  Karin Burger came by with a card and some butterflies on a stick.  I am so blessed to have so many friends.

My head is fuzzy and I was 104.9 this morninng.  Never had weigh this little.  Could not sleep nor eat.  Neither can Lovely.  Eddie has lots of regrets, like not calling mom more regularly.  Lovely used to call her EVERYDAY for seems like years !!!

I tried napping.  Nothing to it.  Vertigo very bad.  Diamond and Will came by about 3 30 and stayed for two hours.  I gave Will the black Brooks shoes and some socks.  He smelled like BO.  Jeez.  They just moved into Auntie Jackie's back ADU, which is a converted garage.

KR took Angel to the golf course and I went for a 

What a Wednesday

 I don't even know how the day went.

The sleep  score said good, like 83 but I felt like I didn't rest at all.

I was up by 5 as I kept thinking of mom.  We went to the beach and it was cold walking to Veteran's Park.  The redondo cop said Angel is NOT to harass the wild life  ie  squirrels.  OH WOW

KR thought he had to go to a memorial service but he showed me the flyer and it says JUNE 7, not May 7.

I went to pick up 12 mackerel fish from Soni and I cleaned them and gave them all away except 3 that I cooked and ate some and gave to chickens and cats and Angel.

Maribel and Tracy came with flowers and a card.  NOW I am in the 'orphan' club.  Carol Gooch came with flowers too.  Patty sent me a Lovely flower.  I am so tired about being sad.

I wore the wt vest all day.  My  back is a wreck.  I also shopped at Ralphs and bought fried chicken and stuff.  Sumi dropped off cookies.

I booked Lovely's one way and the point transfer from Hawaiian to Alaska is taking so long.  I also wennt for a 7 mile ride.

MOM IS GONE !!

 How do I even begin this blog?  

Lovely  called and I did't hear the ring and I saw the pic, and I called.  Mom had passed away in  her  sleep Taiwan time about 4 am.  May 7, 2025.  It is only   May 6 here, but withinn one month, Mary Eileen is gone on 4/7 amd Mom on 5/7

I knew it was gonna come and still my heart ache.  She barely knew me when I was there in January.  James is goinng to be there Friday  and the creamation is going to be Saturday.  Lovely is suppose to be speaking on Mother's Day  at church.  How is she doing that I don't know.

We got a lot of food from FM, mostly   cabbage and cauliflower, which I cooked some tonnight.  KR had one of Sarah's frozen meal from Aetna plus some Swedish meatballs from IKEA for dinner.  

He is such a rock.

Monday and Gina's 55th Birthday

And the phone case came for ME's phone that I am giving to Will

KR went surfing and of course I was cleaning house.  First I had a cardio class.  I just didnt move my shoulder (LEFT) much.  Then it was channging sheets and doing laundry, etc.  KR had a beer and went to nnap.  He took Bunny for sutures remova.

Both Wendy Weh-Kam and Patty Ackerman called me for advise on dental.  Sheesh

KR went to Matthew's game and then to anoinnting with oil for Mark Regan.  He had the left over ehcnilada for dinner.  I also cooked the short ribs this morniong so KR had that for lunch.

In bed by 9.  Not as dizzy earlier, but really dizzy now.

Called Srihdar too at OPTUM, and last time I called was 4/16 and NO ONE called me back.  I want to change the pressure on the CPAP machine and the lady monintoring me said that only the doctor can change that.

REALLY?????

Sunday and church meal Kurt moves to Corrina's for five days !!!

Well, he came back in May 2020 and he is gone May  2025.  For how long?   Hmmm I keep on him for  getting a single, via MarketPlace but he does not bother to do anynof the links  I sent.  

We  walked Angel to the park after KR tried to go surfing.  Thenn it  was church.  Kurt came back about midnight so he had a little trouble getting up.

We came home KR stayed for Q&A.  I c ooked  the pizza $4.50 from Ralphs and added some bell peppers and onions and cheese.  Two pieces left at the end of the taco meal. 

I could not  eat  much so brought my  food  home.

Kurt  did  laundry and packed up and left.

Saturday and FM with lots of spinach * 5/3/2025

 Sleep score with the chin guard was 77.  Went to bed at 10 19 andn woke up at 6 17  and still only 7 hour and 21 min.   WHY why and why.  I felt so tired all day  long and very d izzy.  Sheesh.  

We went to Veterans park and all day   I tried to get on Amazon Prime with Kurt and no go.  Finally found out he has STUDENT Prime so cannot add anyone.  SHEESH

We stopped at Ralphs and we managed to buy 85 dollars worth of food.  Kurt is going to try out Corrina's tomorrow for five days.  Wonder what his rent will be.  I requested his rent and he has not paid yet.  

We got a lot of spinach and radish  I wennt to Sarah's to pick up pho and chicken and drop off spinach and radish.  She was getting a delivery of frozen food.  I think she was in the hospital again  for too much  drinking.  Jeez.  She is going to kill herself.  

I went for a run.  YUP FIRST TIME IN WEEKS aroundn the alleys and shuffle  Last time I ran w as 4/20!!!!!!!!   That is a long time ago  Like  two  whole weeks.  

We were suppose to go  to  dinner with  Kurt and Corrina but she got some kind of food poisoning so we had pho with rice and chicken legs. 

OH, I cooked bacon and wagu beef for lunch

I also  went to Walmart and picked  up my package and Xylimelt for dry mouth   Gonna use two tonight to see if it helps.

Friday and it is Bible Study 5/2/2025

 I had a class, cardio dance and KR took Angel out.

He also went to the garden and got a bunch tumeric  and we  are going to plant some and i  listed on BNT and everyone  wants  some.

KR walked Angel on  the  beach.  I went to the cardio class at 8.  Sleep s core was 52 and poor.  14000 steps though

We had Bible Study, Firday night lite which was good.  EXCEPT no food except cheese andn crackers and chips.  Anita came so that was great.

WORKING Thursday Kurt 5/1 May Day march downtown

 When you  miss onne day you really  start to miss two

YUP it is Friday night annd I forgotten what happened yesterday

I went to work and the 7 am did not show up so it was eassy and it was Dr Patil's last day too.

Got done about 12 45 and went home and stopped at Yamagushi in the mall and picked up the ToGoodToGo bag.

KR had lunch and was asleep.  I went to my cardiologist appt.  We did a strees test.  Then I went for a 7.8 bike ride all around town.  

Kurt had gone DTLA for the May Day march andn brought home a lot of food.  He said there were thousannds of people there and he walked to Chinatown and took three buses to get home.  He parked at Crenshaw/Torrace and took the bus to DTLA.  A truly proletariat thing to do.  HAHAHAHA    I had some chili and had some bad heartburn and had to get up and take some bicarb

Easy Wednesday last day of April, 2025

 Lovely's topic is BUSY Wednesday, not mine.

I could not sleep with the CPAP last night, felt like I  was being water boarded but the sleep score was 82.  I called the Sleep Coach and they turned down the humidifier to 4, but it has been on 5 and no problem.

After a little session, KR went surfing and I went to the weigh training class.  I could not  do a lot of the knee stuff, so I didn't.  KR had Sarah's chili for lunch.  She dropped it off.  I went for a ride to LuSieng and then went to the garage.  Tim and company had moved everything out of the garage rafters.

It was a very dizzy day.

I tried napping, no go.  KR had a nap and Doug came to visit and KR had a chiro appt 

I had some meatloaf and went to bed early.

Carr screening Tuesday

 THIS IS THE LAST ONE !!!!  I went to North Torrance to screen.  The nurse and the students were great.  It was Big Sue with Sandpippers, but I told Tracy she was working with her. 

We were done by 11 30 and we got some of their lunch, teriyaki chicken and rice.

KR went for a run o the beach and the lunch with Flip at Kalvera's taco tuesday.  He took a nap while I went to Chiro.  Only  20 min.  My back did't like the adjustment too much.  Shoulder sore, hip sore.  Baker's cyst sore.  Sheesh

I also went for a 6  mile bike ride.  Lovely RUNS  6  miles  everyday  and I can hardly  ride that much.  

Then I  took an hour nap (3:30-4:30) before my 5 pm yoga class.  

Kurt had appt with Corrina this morning and then work.  KR took Angel for a walk and the it was left over sandwich of Kurt's for dinner with salad.  He didn't go to FM.

I was in bed by 8 30

Monday and still very dizzy

So the back is better and the sleep score is better but in the middle of the night I had to take off the CPAP as it was driving me nuts

KR had the Monday group and I had yoga class at 9.  Had cardio but I canceled.  The back is still a bit weak.   

KR tried to go surfing but no go so he did a lot of yard work.  I cleaned out the games and posted them.  Then  I text Lovely a nd she said she wants them.  HAHAHAHA   So I have to  retract the give. 

I gave away three yoga mats.

I went for a short ride.

We went for a walk up Fire Trail.  EXCEPT Angel was having none of it so we fed Prince and  came home.

I made turkey meatloaf and potatoes and frozen vege and they had yummy dinner.

Kurt had work all day.

Yesterday he said he was moving up to Corria's for a week of 'trial'.  Really?  Does that mean he is not paying rent at either place?  I text Diamond and she and Will are moving to the back house of her aunt?  Guess they  can't pay  rent.  The car is still abondoned at Lowe's as Will cannot afford to have it fixed.  Sheesh.  Just junk it then and have some cash.

Sunday and it rained again

 I had 9.5 hours of sleep and 82 sleep  score.  I guess the CPAP is working.  However, the asal pillow kept leaking annd KR had to nudge me awake to fix it.  I finally took it off about 3 or 4 am

We went to the beach for a walk and then it was church.  Kurt went up to Corrina's with my car as I took his truck to take the desk inn the garage to Savers.  I managed to lift it onto the truck without wrecking my back.

I tried taking a nap after KR came home, but did dnot sleep.  I went for a 6 mile ride.  The back was ok.  Not great, but healing.

I heard that Will and Diamond are moving BACK to the  Johnson's again !!!!  They cannot make the  rent and had to move.

Recovering Saturday 4/26/2025

 My back is recovering   KR and I walked to the park with Angel.  He then went to Men's Breakfast.  I did  practically NOTHING  all day as my knee and back were not happy.

He came back with two halves of breakfast burrito.

Kurt came home from Chris' about 11 and was asleep all morning, the watching video all day.

I tried making a sock for Bun and she tried to chew it off so  the cone had to stay on.

It was take back drugs at Sam's club so I went to Christine's and Kathleen's and picked up their stuff ad dropped of at Sam's.  IT WAS POURING RAIN on the way there.  It rained for about two hours today.

I even took a NAP !!!!   WOWOWOWO

Lovely is  down in Taitung cheering on the Tri team.  She  didn't get much sleep.  I just cannot do that.

We walked Fire trail in the afternoon. 

My new XS sleep pillow for the CPAP came and seems to fit better.

Dinner was soup and left over burrito and not much for me.  I just don't seen to have much energy.

Friday and my back is recovering

 I had 9 and half hours of sleep !!!  The machine says 100 score but the watch says 79.  That is a lot of sleep.

KR took Angel to the beach and I wrapped Bun's foot and took her cone off.  She is much happier, able to groom  herself.  I also  cleaned the back patio and getting ready for the rain tomorrow.

It is suppose to rain tomorrow 10 - 11 and that is it.

Only 35%

KR had lunch with Kirk and Doug and we took a nap.  I was OUT like a light and slept for over hour and half.  KR cooked the fish and we walked to the park before the Friday night Light at the church.

Thursday and no work 4/24/2025

 KR had screening at Carr so we walked Angel to the park.  It was cold and gloomy.  Maribel called for he to help, as Larry Hashimoto forgot to tell her that he could not make it.  HAHAHA  KR is going to be working HARD.  I told Maribel I had too many things to do and Bunbun is not well.  And Angel will be home alone.

I went to a weigh class and it was good.  I never get to do her class but since I didn't have to work...

I tried making socks for Bun but she is not having any of it.  Freda and Charity came by for some fish.  

I went for a ride and my back went out. Yup, I didn't do ANYTHING and it was so painful.

I laid around all afternoon and all night and took some advil annd some tylenol and went to bed by by 8 40

It better get better tomorrow.

Wedesday and what a fiasco for KR

 Well, we walked to the park first.  KR had screening at Jefferson, right here on Carson but instead of opting out, the nnurse had the kids op IN so there were hardly anny kids.  He was home by 10 30 ad wet to take Angel for a real walk.

I went to San Pedro to drop off the bunny cage and some towels from mom's.  Then dropped off the play  pen and the electronic recycling at Savers.  Then to Mary's to look around and talk to her.  THe place is almost empty and Sora and friends are going to clean the place and remove the rest of the stuff.

Came home and Doug dropped off a hunk of fish.  I cooked some and it was amazing.  Had some as sushi too.  KR had a sandwich for lunch and then fish and rice and vegetables for dinner.  We gave a piece to Patty and Chuck  and Christine / Ramon.  Not much left.  The cats like them too.

Bun is very unhappy with her collar.  But she has to wear it or she chews her stitches.

KR went up to Jeff's to pick up fish and pick up bees.  We have LOTS of fish.

Went to bed with the CPAP and felt like I had pretty good sleep, but alas no.  ONLY 65

Tuersday and back at the Y

We walked Angel to the park.

 Finally I go to cardio dance.  After last  nnight's Core  Conditioning, I  needed more classes  Out  of shape.  My heart rate went all the way up to about 150

KR had screening  at Jefferson.  BUT the nurse really screwed up.  Instead of kids opting out, they had  to  op in and of course no one read the forms.

So he was back by 10 30.  He took  Angel out  to PV for checking the surf.

I had so many errands to do.  i went to San Pedro and dropped the hamster cage off, plus a bunch of towels I got at mom's.  We don't need that many.  I also went to Kathleen's to empty her commode.  Which is not really bad.  Just pee and toilet paper.

I also went to Ralphs and bought a pizza and some other food.  I thought I bought cottage cheese, but ended up buying sour cream.  REALLY????

I dropped off clothes at Steven's and the leaf blower from Freda that did't work at Salvation Army.

Finally came home and was tired.  We got fish from Doug.  I cooked it, KR went to pick up bees at Helen's and fish from Jeff.  We gave a piece to Ramon and Kristine, one piece to Patty and one to Chuck.  

Then KR got a whole lot from Jeff.  SHEESH  so much fish.

Kurt went up to Corrina's and took the tealights as Rene is gonna ask Inaya to marry him tomorrow or something.

Monday oh what fun TWO times LAX

 So it was gonna  be an interestinng day

KR had group with the Monday morning, and I cleanend and waited for Abby to text.  Her plane was about half hour late.  Went to LAX to pick her up, and the traffic was nnot bad.  Stopped at Wells to get her 4000 USD of Lovely's money, then came home  and tried to buy extra luggage for her two extra's, one suitcase and onne guitar.  NO GO

We called and no onne could figure out why so much, Lovely tried to do it inn Taiwan and no go.

So we left the guitar here and she paid 120 USD for the extra.  WOW

We then went to the Marinna Cafe in Wilmington Harbor to have lunch with KR and Kurt.  We drove separately.  It was VERY interesting to be down at the harbor.  Never seen so many decrepit boats, and many boats on sale. 

I drove Abby back to LAX and she left. 

Came home and met Tim and Jim and Kit, they brought the secretary over, and we decided to put it in the garage.  Tim and Jim had lunch in the condo and I chatted with them.  Showed them the remodeling as they have all seen the condo before.  I vacuumed a little before they came.

Dinner was not much as I am getting FAT.  112 plus pounds.  NO NO

KR had left over lasagna with the burger patty.  We also picked up two packs of wagu beef that we bought.

Easter 2025

 Where does the  time go

We were up  early early  early  for the sunrise service at COTB  Corrina spent the night and us four went down there and Helen came too.  It was great, sermon by  Jason with  a little skit.

We came home for fresh  squeezed OJ, and eggs and bacon  and  toast.  Then we took a very short nap and went to Branch.  Kurt and Corrina took a nap and then went up to her  house.  They had Easter dionner with Helen.  We  came home and KR prepared the salad and we went to  the  Gooch's.

We had turkey a nd  h am  and  chicken and mac and cheese with  our  salad   and pasta salad and strawberry  short cake.   YUM

Peter  and Paula  and Katie and the  other  lady  who mentors at  Royal Family, the Egyptian MD was there.  We came home and  I  took a LONG nap.

Dinner was nothing  for me.   Getting fat.  KR had salad

Kurt came home late.

Abby will be here  tomorrow.

Mary should have been with us at COTB.  What a week

NOT very good sleep Saturday 4/19/2025

 We went to Veteran's Park to walk Angel then we stopped at mom's garage and I movd t he ccar out and got the  upper rafters ready  for Mary's stuff that she wanted to save for Sean.  Tim and Kit moved almost everything to  the top  of both garages.

KR went to FM, got very little stuff.  He bought stuff for the salad we are bringing to the Gooch's tomorrow  Very little lettuce for the chickens.  I  think everyone was getting ready for  Easter dinner or something.  

Then Reggie told KR that there was free compost in San Pedro.  He asked Kurt to  go with his truck and Kurt brought back a whole truck load.  KR put  them everywhere.  He was very tired.

I went for a ride.  Dropping some earthquake food off for Naby  and posting a lot of stuff from the garage.  The toaster oven, the corn hole game, the  tubs that  are too  large, etc.  Almost all got picked up including  the shower  chairs and the porta potty.

Corrina came over and they went over to Amanda's.  Corrina is spending  the night and they  are all goingn to the 6   am sunrise service.  Yipee

Good Friday 2025 Sheets changed

 Well, it started with Bun getting an  x ray  and her toe is broken.  SHEESH  We made an appt for Tuesday  at the Culver City pet orthopaedic clinic and then I managed to get a Monday appt.  We sent the x ray to Eric who is in Hawaii with Colleen.  

KR and I walked Angel to the park.  It was a cloudy day most morning.   I changed the sheets and the wind dried the sheets pretty good.  

I gave Bun some Gabapenti  for pain  as she is not putting wt on her left front  paw  at a ll.

After speaking with Eric, we decided Jerome's wife, Emilie can just  remove the toe at the tune of 1500 bucks and not go to Culver City.  SHEESH

That Angel dog, I don't know what she did to break Bun's toe.

We went to Norm's for lunch.  I had BOGO trout with coleslaw and mashed potatoes and it was great.  

I actually took a LONG nap.

I went to MY orthopaedic appt in Manhattan Beach with Dr Feder, who looks like a very nice Jewish man, who worked on Neil Kaplan and he did a bunch of   x rays and did  some movemets of my shoulder and said Celebrex for two weeks, plus diclofenec topical three times a day and see him in two weeks for a cortizone injection.  We shall see.  I  do have a torn labrum

I rushed to Good Friday s ervice, KR says I got the time wrong.  It  is 6 pm at KHC and so I went hjome, and stopped  at the garage.  THERE are so many boxes from Mary's and Tim and Katherine were just leaving, I had them restack some stuff so that we can get to the camping stuff.  More are comingn.

The service was interesting, did nnot see Mike D at all.  Some other kid led the service.  Well, he looked like a kid.

We came home and KR had some light dinner, is left over fettacini and went to bed.

Working Thursday

 I didn't get up  until 6 1 5 so it was a mad dash out the door.

It was not THAT busy but steady.  KR had screeningn at Torrance El with  Maribel annd Tracy.  I got home at 12 50 and went for a ride.

Today's sleep score was 76  Better.  I had somee left over   

Kurt had flex day and took the morning off.  He spent last night at Corrina 

I booked them tickets to Cabo for August.  Should be iteresting.  High seaso.

Wednesday

 i knnew  if  I miss  a dad I eould have a hard time figureing out what happened.

We were up  e arly and KR went  surfing and I had screening at Casimair.  It went fairly fast.  I  was done by 12  andn came home  KR had no beer  oh wow

He took a  nap and  I  went  for  a  ride.  I first  met Katerine at mom's garage to show her how much room was there  for her to storage Sean's  stuff.  I also w ent up  to  Steven's  and dropped off a bunch of  suitcases and clothes.  He was gardening.

KR took  Angel  to  the golf  course.   I stopped  at Ralphs  and bought turkey and  made  turkey meat  loaf with  potatoes cooked in bacon grease.  It was very g ood.

Sleep  score was ot good at 55

Bible Study Tuesday and a very good cry MARY!!!!

Vertigo still  bad

We were up and KR went to study at church and I had 81 sleep score   WOW

Tried to call Optum Pulmonogy but their phone was bad.  I went cycling at 4 pm,  only  for about 5.7 miles.  Getting slower and slower

My fingers all  hurt  Right and left hand.

After taking Bun to the vet, which cost me 200 bucks, I went to Mary's place and got a pair of pajamas and some other stuff.  I had a good cry.  Tim was going through her stuff in the garage and Sher was going through  her stuff i the house and I packed up the dishes and stuff and her quilt.  I came home and ate some lunch.

Anita came early  as i text her  to  come for some wine and stuff and she did   We had a very  lively discussion  and Cristian brought so much food again.  What a man

Monday and the Rose Hills fiasco

 So I missed my 8 30 cardio class.  Oh  well, I had to clean the house.  And get stuff ready for  Rose Hills.

Bun is limping badly.  I made appt for her at Western Vet for tomorrow.  Poor kitty.  What did Angel do to her?  

Kurt had work and I made him a very good sandwich.  KR went surfing and then got bagels.

Mary left  us a week ago TODAY!!!  Really a  week already?  I realized I call her alot when things are ot  well  and I don't  feel too good with the vertigo.  Megha got my day canceled tomorrow.  

We went to Neighborhood Watch meeting at Hickory and saw a lot of neighbors.  

I cooked some breakfast steaks for KR.  Was a bit chewy but hey, it was cheap.

I also had my consult with the CPAP lady at 7  30  Almost 25 min of me asking questions.  If I don't use at least 4 hours a day, for   21 days out of 30, I have to  PAY FOR IT !!!!!

Sunday 4/13/2025

 KR went surfing early and I did laundry.  Kurt and I drove to church  and KR was late coming back but he had a good time.

We came home and Kurt says he and Corrina has  an appt, with whom he would not say.  He left  and I  had cooked some chicken legs and rice and broccoli.  I took some food over to Patty and Steve.  They had just  gotten back from Italy last night and thought they might need some food.

KR came home and ate lunch and then tried to nap.  I went for a ride.  The vertigo is so  bad.

MY SLEEP SCORE was 82.  AND I had a funny dream, due  to the CPAP and two hours of REM sleep.  WOW  I was somewhere that I needed a walker to walk around and then me and KR had to go to Bismarck to do something with Kurt's sports team, which I could not remember what kind of sport.  I did not remember the dream until KR said I slept long enough to dream and I remembered the dream.

Will called me and said that his car is giving him fits.  I guess he never did get the car to the mechanic and ran out of oil and he added three quarts and he is going to drive to Grandma's and Diamonnd is goinng to pick him up.  THE USUAL that Will ruins another car.  I am NOT going to buy him another car.

Saturday

 We walked to the park

I went to Wilmington for the 5K race that was so so hard.  I was dizzy and gasping for air.

I wennt to Freda's for some bread

KR tried to go surfingn but was no good.  Did a lot of yard work, and we went to the FM and got a LOT of broccoli and lettuce.  I went to the Y  to sit in the jacuzzi.  Plus a shower

KR took a nap.

Sher and Tim were at Mary's.  Sad

KR read the instructions to the CPAP.  Should be good to go

Friday and what a bad VERTIGO DAY

 So I managed to get 8 hours of sleep, but still poor sleep score.  

AND the vertigo is bad.  I went to cardio dance, and then yoga.  Maybe it is the yoga that does it, the up and downn and up and down.  The rest of the day felt like crap.

I miss Mary Eileen

KR went over to Tim's and had Tim and Sher read the speech   he  wrote about ME.  Tim made some suggestions, like how KR met Mary.

KR went on a bike ride with Flip, and Flip managed to take a BAD tumble on the strand and KR had to get the life guards to come wrap him up and then he drove and picked up his and Filp's bike and they had lunch at Kalvera's.  Oh  my

I went to pick up the cPAP machine.  And got lost, Del Amo blvd has a east and west.  I also went to Sumi's  to pick up tomatoes and to Ashley's to  pick up some amazing dog food.

I  stepped on a bee and he stung me.  My toe itches like made.  And I have a race tomorrow.  YUP, Kurt has a work event and 5K.  Autism awareness or something like that.

I also wennt to Ralphs and bought a lot of food, plus Walmart for vitamins.

it is THURSDAY AND NO WORK !!!!

 Dr Sata is taking over every other Thursday  YIPPPEEEE  I am so glad I didn't have to go in.

My right fingers are starting to ache me also, just like the left.  SHEESH

KR went surfing and I stayed home and cleaned and went to mom's and cleaned.  I forgot a few things so had to go back and forth to resupply

We also went up to Fire Trail before KR's doctor appt to walk Angel.  KR had to see his ear doctor at the House Ear Clinic and he took my car.

He took a nap.  I cleaned the garage pretty  good.  Sorting through all the mason jars and giving away the last of the hedge trimmer.  I tried napping no go so I went for a ride and then to the 5 pm core class.  Have not been there for weeks and it was HARD WORK.

I cooked shrimp and rice for their dinner.  

Wednesday and a day of rest, kind of

 My computer is giving  me the  fits.  Too many  spaces on the space bar and the letter N is not coming up or too many n's at a time

We  were up  earky and I did not sleep well.  KR did of course.

He went  surfing and I went to mom's to cleann and  get soaps and stuff organized.  Lovely put a lot of stuff away in places that I would  not use  but it is at least just a place for all our guests.   I wonder if Alan would want to stay there when he is here over the summer

Sher and Tim are doing as well as to be expected.  Teresa Hom, or Te Ho is in the hospital.  Pain annd vaginal bleeding, maybe uterous.  Who knows.  I just didn't  have any energy to call her

I went to Lowe's and got Command hooks and then to  Aldi for some food.  Made pork al pastor and pizza for dinner.

Kurt worked all day and went straight up to Corrina

Tuesday and what a weird day

 I woke up thinking of Mary

Kurt went to work.

I stayed  home and Maribel and Andrea came to clean.  I called Delano prison and talked to Lt Houtie who  said that we cannot go see Sean.  I spoke with Tim and told him all this.  However, Sean tried to call me and I could not answer the phone nnot knowing what to say.  I finally answered after he tried calling three times and told him to call his Uncle Tim

Finnally Tim told him Mary had passed.  He took it ok.

I was so exhausted.  KR had Valor Meeting for three house.  I cooked bacon and chicklen on the BBQ and they had it for dinner with the yummy vegetables I cooked too.  Two potatoes and a bell pepper and a head of cauliflower and some onnions and spinach.

Oh Mary Mary.  My  dearest friend is gone.  12-10-1954 to 4-7-2025.  She is onnly 70

Monday Lovely goes back to Taiwan and Mary goes to HEAVEN

 Oh What a day

We were up and Lovely  was packing and shopping and packing.  Jesse wennt over to mom's because Lovely told her but I didn't know and he came over.  KR had take Angel for a walk up PV and came back and we all went to Seafood Town for a yummy lunch.

Jesse left and Lovely went out with Angel Go and I went to see Mary.  She iis not too responsive.  She had a bad bleed and did not want to go back to the hospital.  She said  just to let her go.  I think as  she  was able to talk to Sean she was ready.

Abby and Lovely finished the  mac and cheese  and  we loaded the car and left for the airport about 8.  After dropping them off, I went to Mary's but Sher did not answer the phone so I sat there a bit and went home.  I text Sher that I will have my phone on next to the bed as she said Mary's breathing was labored.

I didn't hear her text and I woke up about midnight and saw that she had text.  Mary left us at 11:16 pm

I got dressed and drove over there and prayed for her and Jim and Tim and Sher were there and we just hugged and cried.

Sunday 4/6/2025

 Abby went to Gardena Baptist church and we went to Branch.

Lovely started cleaning the condo adnd Mary text me annd urgently wanted to see me and KR.  I think he brain is being changed by all the meds.  The manicurist Jan came to do her nails and I went back to the condo.  I did all the plants outside and cleaned the patio. 

Lovely did her magic on  the condo  and  looks amazing.

Pam picked her up and she and Pam and Suz all went out.

Abby took a long nap.  I made mac and cheese and hard boiled eggs for her for dinner.  KR had taco salad

He also wrote Mary's obituary and went over there to talk to her about it.  She seems a bit out of it, KR says.

Saturday

 So I forgot to post yesterday

Lovely and Abby came back in the afternoon.  Kurt and Corrina and  all of us went to the Kaplan's for Sedar and it was amazing.  There were maybe 30 people there and  they  had  t ri  tip and brisket.  

Kurt went up to Corrina's, as  they were  going to the Renaissance Fair tomorrow

KR went to walk Angel and I went to yoga class.

We also walked Angel to the park in the morning before KR went  to church  to help clean up.  He also went to FM and got some lettuce.  When he dropped some off for Jim, he got two beers   HAHAAHAH

Friday

 I l ove  Fridays,  usually   nothing  to do, and  NO WORK

KR and  I walked Angel down  at   the beach.   He  went  back to go  surfing  and  I  did  laundry, getting  downnstainrs ready f or  Lovely  to return tomorrow with  Abby too.

I  went  for a ride.   

Sleep score is  39 and poor   REALLY???

I  ran  2.5 miles.  13 plus min mile.  VERY SLOW

Kurt  worked all day.

KR had bacon  cheeseburger for  lunch.  I  cooked the  t urkey bacon.  Charity  came over and took  some jewelry, Angela took the rest.

KR had screening at Madrona Wednesday

 At least I had a 'sort of free day'

KR had screening at Madrona middle and he left by  8  30.  I  did laundry a nd had a YMCA class of cardio  dance.  They  now  have a  sign  in new  system.

I made smoothies and navy  bean  soup.  We went out to  eat lumch with  Bill and  Elaine at Sushi  Boy  and  it was very good.

KR took a nap.  I went to my  knee injection appt. and then I  took a  nap too.

Corrinna  came over and I w as in b ed by  8  30

Tuesday screening at Edison

 So I had screening today.   Yup, I  had forgotten that I  agreed

It was  COLD  and  sunny but s till  really   cold  in the  sun  eve.

We  had   a l ot o f  kids,  annd Dr  Patil came too.  There  was only one recess break and  then we were  donne by 12 30

I came home for lunch and KR was mad at Ben.   Fausto  was suppose  to  be here but Ben told him to go to another job.  After waiting for an hour, KR  said he  'reamed Ben a new one'.  WOW

Fausto  was still working when I got home and I made him a cheeseburger.

I went  for a ride and KR took Angel for a walk

So I was on my way and then Maribel text me my  8  am canceled, I turned  around  and went  to Mary's  to clean her plants.  I crated some of them and went to work.  

It was not  too bad.  Busy   but not crazy

Came home and Fausto  was working onn the flooring.  Another Mario was working at he condo with the electrical.

We went for a walk around the condo and then out to dinner with Jaime.  He is moving to Nevada he says.  His house  at  the Bend Club needs too much work.

Kurt had a day of work

Teresa Ho finally came by  for her stuff and I took a shower and  was in  bed by  8

 Mary is  still in the  hospital.  

We went  to  the  beach t o walk Angel.  Then it was church.  We brought a  little  balloon and a  cheesecake  bite  with a   candle  to  wish Bill  Happy  Birthday  right  after the  service.

KR stayed and Kurt and I came home.  Very  dizzy.   Seems to  be getting  worse.

I  cooked  cream of  broccoli  soup  and also BBQ chicken  and  KR  made  rice.

We went  to  see Mary a t  LCM after lunch and  she was  dozing  off  and on.

I need to go  clean  her  plants.

Corrina and Kurt also had dinner Corrina was  here all day.  They planted all  kinds of stuff.  She  also  spent the night. 

I went to bed by   8  and woke up  at 5 30 thinking of  Mary

 We were up  and KR went surfing.  Lovely  and  I  went to the condo to look at what  stuff she  wants t o  keep.  KR and Kurt went to  FM and  got 15 plus pounds of broccoli.  Lots of people   came and  got some

Lovely a nd  Abby l eft  and I actually t ook  a  nap w ith  KR.   About  an  hour a nd h alf

I went  for a   bike ride.  Nothing t o b e   had  in  the alley

KR  cooked  some more  burgers  for  dinner.   He  forgot  we h ad  some  in t he  frig.   Oh,  yesterday  Ben  came  by  to s ee  what he  needs t o f ix.  He is  coming back   Monday to d o  the  work.  I  have t o  work  so  KR  will have to  handle i t.

Friday and lots of errands

 We  went  to  the  bank  first  thing, trying to  close  the  account a nd do   the notary t hingy.

Well,  cannot  do notary  if you  don't  have account  so  we made a ppt for 3  pm.  Lovelya nd  Abby  left  for  Downey for  Judy's  dad's memorial. 

I had breathing test at 11, then went  to hospital,  Mary  was fast asleep and snoring so I   came holme.

VERTIGO BAD TODAY  FROM MORNING  ON

Then I had MRI   appt at BCO for left shoulder, then came home and went to Chase  again.  Closed the  account,  did  the  notary.

We  went  to  Taco  Los  Goloso  at  PCH  and  bought 10 tacos.

KR  had appt with  House Ear Clinic but  he  put the  address in  wrong  so he  was going to  Santa Monica  instead of Los  Angeles.

WORKING and picking up Lovely

 I was a little late to work, like 6 50.  But  the  day w ent well.  We were busy and I was done  by  12 30.  Still  cannot  get into ADP so Maribel called Katherine and tried to s ee what  the  problem is.  

Mary was suppose to be in surgery at 8 then it was 11 then it was afternoon.  

KR had  prepped the brussel sprouts so I cooked them.  Also I spoke with Delano prison and Sean is suppose to be able to be able to make one video call a week, but I said maybe he does not know that and the lady who answered the  phone said  she would try to let the sargent of his unit know to call.  You are  suppose to download an app to facilitate calling.  The app is called GettingOut.

Abby helped me and finished the CHICKEN lego thingy that  Kurt brought back from Hawaii. 

I also made some burger patties and took a nap from 7 - 9.   I was so so tired.

KR went to bed.  Abby and  I went  to  pick up Lovely.  Oh, Abby and  I also went to the condo and cleaned for about an hour.  Very dusty.

Wednesday 3/26/2025

 So KR went to walk Angel and I  had my Orthovisc injection with Dr Mellano at BCO.  Vana text me to go to LCM.  Mary had a  lot of pain at 5 and not under control.  I jammed over there and she  was  not in  a  good  place.  Sora from her Bible study  group also came soon  after I arrived.

I was there for about 3 hours trying to figure out why they  are not  giving her  enough meds.  KR also  came and  brought  a  wall charger.  Her charge  bank was dead and her phone  was on r eserve.

I ordered  some food from Mitsuwa  and  came home.   Tried  to  nap  but was t oo too dizzy.  KR  ate and  napped.  Then I  juiced all the  carrots  we  got  yesterday  plus  some tangerine juice.  I  even juiced some cilantro and parsley.  Not too  good but hey.

KR took Angel out  while  I cleaned up.  He also  did a little yard work.

I a m so so tired and sad  about Mary.

Christine Johnson also is in the hospital, at Torrance Memorial, some kind of heart issue.  They are keeping her over night.

Tuesday and ABBY is here

 Don't remember what happened, but this is Wednesday already.

Abby flew in about 7  30 and Jerry I think that is his name from Gardena  Baptist picked her up  and  dropped  her  off here.  She  went to the beach with us to walk Angel, while Andrea cleaned.  She  ran and we walked Angel to  Veteran's Park.

KR went to  FM and  we had at least 25  pounds of food,  asparagus, artichokes, brussel sprouts, beets, cauliflower, cilantro, leeks, and parsley.  I gave away most everything.  Need  to  clean  the  sprouts and  roast them.

Then Abby took a nap.    We were  going to go to the condo to  clean  but she was too tired.

I slept very little in  the  afternoon.  We had bible study  and of course, Cristian brought so much  food.

Abby  slept through it all.

Mary was at Sher's and I went over there inn  the  afternoon.  The evening the nurse came to change the  dressing, and make a mess, she  had  a bad bleed and the  doctor from hospice was on the phone, facetime the nurse when the blood got too much  and  the  doctor called 911 and  now Mary is at LCM AGAIIN !!!!

Sheesh

Monday and what a day of work

Mary got out of UCLA and is at Sher's house

I was at work at 6 45 and the new extern was there.  Nice lady from India

It was so busy that we worked from 7 to 1 and the it took me an hour to write charts so I didn't  leave until 2  pm

KR was doing screening at Jefferson in Hawthorne and then bee work and he took a nap.  I tried to rest but could not sleep.  The transport took Mary  from UCLA to Sher's house.  I went over about 5 30 and talked to Tim and Kit and Jim.  I asked if either one of them would like to do the night duty and they said no.

Kit is leaving tomorrow for Washington,

The bees that KR killed were not killed.  They were buzzing around.

Kurt had work all day and  bought Jack in the box so KR had that for dinner.  KR took the box back to John C so he can kill them.

Sunday and not really a fun day

 The sleep score is still 49.  NO GOOD

KR and I went to the beach for Angel's walk.  Then it was church time.  Kurt and I came home while KR stayed for the Q&A.  I tried calling all day  for  caregivers, and found someone from Alii, her name is Lydia.

We will see if  she works out tomorrow.  Mary is suppose to come out tomorrow.

I cooked the rest of the meatloaf, plus some chicken wings from Mary's.  I went to her house and got all her  frozen  food.    Alot I had to throw out and some were mystery foods.

I a lso got all her  dry stuff like paper towels and  will take to  Tim's house  tomorrow.

KR tried to transfer bees and they w ere VERY aggressive.  He and John  decided to kill the hive.

YUP, KILL THE BEES

They are sad but this is a very  aggressive hive and there was no queen excluder so there was brood all throughout the super.  AND  KR bought the  wrong size frames

I took a  shower  and  went  to bed by  8  30

Saturday and what a day

 I am just so tired and it is ont even 7  yet

We were both up by 5.  I could not sleep.  KR went surfing and I started chaging s heets and cleaing.  I also cooked meatloaf in the afternoon.  Kurt came home about 11.  KR and I went to FM ad got a lot of lettuce, not much else, some purple cauliflower.

Kurt didn't wanna go.  He also didn't like the shoes I got him from Brooks, black thought  he would like them for work but he said no.  So maybe I should  bless someone with new shoes.

While KR napped, I rode to Beth's annd dropped off the books and some  cauliflower.  I  also went to  Melli's to  give her critters some lettuce.  Jim also got some.

Then I was  really  tired  and just laid down but didn't sleep.  KR took  Angel  for a  walk and had dinner.,

I was in bed by  7  30

Friday 3/20/2025

 KR went surfing and I was doig paper work like how to visit Sean and where to do hospice.  Mary got the news that no Mexico trip is an option, so Sher went up today to see her.  

I forgot I had a core class and went for half hour, then to yoga.  It was NOT easy.  Seems like if I don't go 3x/week my joinnts stiffen up.

My computer is driving me nuts.  Won't type the N, and sometimes multiple types of N

Sleep score was 49.  Spoke with Dr Sridar and he is going to order a cPap

We wet walkig up the fire trail ad it was nice and sunnny.

Denise said she would go to the reuio on August 2 with me, ad be my date  HAHAHAHA  KR is going to be so busy  talking  to people

I cooked vegetables of carrots/cabbage/bell peppers/chayote/yellow squash.

Diane Krieger had an eye appt and she came by and I fed her spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic bread and grapes.  Charity came by annd  brought  more  plug in scents and chatted a bit.

I have such good friends.

Tried  to activate my  membership at Sams but was not successful    So went to Costco ad  spent about 160 bucks

Our Anza Borrego Trip

 It was a great trip. 

We left Monday in no hurry, after KR's Monday morning group.  We drove via Lake Henshaw, and stopped for a burger at Wendy's.  Very expensive.  The cheap burger is over 3 bucks.  We let Angel run around the lake and got to Oasis Inn about 1 30 pm. 

It was a really lovely motel.  We had room #4, the only  one with pet permitted.  It had coffee maker, two burner stove, small microwave, coffee maker, frig and dishes.  The pool was cold but the jacuzzi, which turns on at 4 pm was warm enough.

We drove to the stone house and left some decorations.  Someone had left a half mason jar full of pot, but we didn't take any, nor smoke any.

We came back and stopped at DG grocery a nd  bought a steak and some salad and  fixing for our  dinner.   KR grilled on the Traeger BBQ, with the owner, Craig's blessings.  It was a fabulous meal.

KR didn't drink the whole trip.

We went to bed, two queen, but one kind of soft.

Tuesday morning we went up to Coyote Canyon and had a long hike.  Then it was a nap by the pool and then dinner at the Red Octiollo.  Very good food. 

Wednesday we just  took a easy.  Had some left over yogurt and  drove back the same way to get cheap gas at Pala or Pauma or La Jolla casino.  We got home about 1 30 and KR had an a ppt with Dr Yao but he forgot to bring his discs with him, so we came home early  and he changed his appt from 1 30 to  4  pm.   He left to go himself and I cleaned  up

Today is Thursday and I went to see Maryat UCLA.  Kit and Jim were there, and Mary still wants to  go to Mexico.

Late in the day Mexico called and said that they will not take her kind of cancer so she is going to go to hospice, and Sher said she wants to go to Sher's house.  Oh boy.  Tim is working full time, and Sher is taking time off but still working too.  We will see what kind of help we can give her.
