LAST Monday of the year

KR went to Chris' which was at Bruce's and I went to work.  Saw Brad Dennis and did a large filling on 17 and delivered the crown.  KR went to prune the trees at our rental house.  Rent is still at 2500 which is about a thousand below market rate.

I went to Ralphs to see if i can buy Christmas stuff.. NADA

I went to Costco to buy light bulbs and bird seeds, etc.  The parking lot was a mess and when I was done getting my stuff I could not find the car for about 20 minutes.  Came home and started painting the old front doors.

KR decided to drink alot !!!!  His BAC was .12 and he was rude and emotionally unavailable.  I was so upset.  I went to the gym while he pickled in front of the TV with Gracie and a roaring fire.

Tomas and Juan came and Juan painted the downstairs bedroom and Tomas did the electrical in the kitchen.  The ELK lights will look very nice.

I went to bed and KR didnt come up until 1 pm

Last Sunday of the year/decade

We go walk the dog early.  COLD but not as cold as yesterday.

We go to church at KHC.  Then it was more work in the house.  KR did the sanding and the priming and I did the inside kitchen and tried to get the downstairs bedroom cleared away so they can come and do the rest of the floor and the paint.

I went to my class after sitting on the rollers for about half hour.  KR walked Gracie again.

We went out to eat at Shiok near AMC Rolling hills.  It was great.  Of course we went to bed early

Saturday

We walk the dog early.  I was so cold that I was really really uncomfortable and KR went back down to surf.  I wore two pairs of pants, two sweaters, and jacket, plus gloves.  Brought turkey from Ralphs for treats for the dogs down there.

I put a lot of dishes away, while KR surf.  We drove by Saach and Saachi and saw a bunch of shelves outside, so I went back and we got two.

KR came home, ate.  I went for a ride.  My hip is really whinging me.  My left hip really hurts.  I laid down on the rollers for over an hour.  Brian M came or a visit.

KR got done with the doors at 4 pm.  ALL DONE varnishing.

Friday

So the workers are here a total of 17 days.  December 3, Tueday through 6, 9 - 13, 16 - 20, 23, 24, 26.  Pastty Lopez came by with prime r9b, cake, tomales, oh man.  We are so blessed.

I work hard on shelfing the shelves.  We walk the dog, and it is so so cold in the morning.

KR paints the doors some more.  He watches USC vs Iowa State or someting.  I was too tired, and I went to bed.

Thursday

Tomas' crew did not come.  Juan said Tomas was sick.  We walked the dog early.  It was about 42 degrees.  It is so cold, I wore two pairs of pants.  I also took a pic of the sand 'snowman'.

Came back and Kevin and his crew came.  They were putting the cabinets up.  No rain.  It poured hard last night, but the rain stopped and will have no more rain until Monday.  Last night KR painted the entry way closet door.  It looked great.

I made Kevin and crew turkey sandwiches, with vege platter we had last night.  I rode around, brought back three pumpkins from Becky off of Arlington.  Also picked up two large bags of recycling for New Horizon.

THe cabinets got mostly done, and we were so tired we went to the jacuzzi at New Horizon.  I passed out pretty quick ater that.

WORK DAY 17

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2019

We go to the beach again, for our Christmas morning walk.  It was cold and cold and slightly windy.  No one wa shere and I spent about three hours cleaning the yard and straightening the living room, and moving the furniture.  KR helped moving all the trash and we moved a bit of card board to mom's recycling.

I took a little nap and then we went to the Crookston's for dinner.  Katherine and John made some much good food.  Their friend Karen was there too.  We had turkey, bread pudding, cranberry sauce, green beans with goat cheese, stuffing, on so so good.

The company was great and we came home about 8

More Cabinets Tuesday 12/24/2019

Christmas Eve

The guys all work, four from Tomas crew.  I had to tell Tomas no more sanding,. The dust was driving me crazy.  Kevin, the head cabinet guy comes with this two helpers.  They put the cabinets together, and shim so that things are straight.  We ago to the 2 pm Christmas eve service.  Lots of goodies to be had after the service.  I take home a few.

We changed clothes and went to Jesse's for dinner.  WOW what a feast.  Zoe had cooked steak, king crab legs, beans, asparagus, mushrooms, tofu, chicken soup, bird's nest soup, and we ate a lot.  There was ice cream and pies for dessert. 

I was exhausted after dinner and we came home and went to bed.  Didn't even listen to sermon, I was asleep in like five minutes.

Day 15 or work for remodeling and NO DENTAL for 10 days

Made it to yoga.  Adele didn't want to go, and I convinced her.  Cali had another seizure, but is ok.

KR did not hav meeting at Chris'.  He went to hospital to see Bruce, and then to buy him some gum and mouth rinse.  The guys were here working and then Kevin the cabinet worker came and installed the cabinets.  Well, he put them together.  I rode around and didn't see much.  I picked up some recycling for New Horizon.

Did some Christmas cards.

Tomas and the guys did the flooring in the den, and started on the spare room too.  They are really fast.  The front doors look good.  KR will finish the inside soon.

I cooked chicken soup for the guys and bought a pizza at Ralphs and some fried chicken too.  They had a nice lunch.,

The cabinet guys came to start the cabinets.

Tomas' guy is sanding the stairs.  I had too much of the dust.  Driving me crazy.

Went to bed early

Church Sunday

KR started on the doors again, as it will rain tonight or something like that.  We went to Branch of Hope and saw Bill there.  Elaine is somewhere in Europe.  Their daughter has triplets I think.  We came home and KR did more door work.

I went back to Home Depot to get more varnish.  Then I rode around for a bit to see if I can get anything in the alley.  A bag of recycling for New Horizon.

KR went to Donna's party for the Klub kids.  I hope Matthew behaved.  I went to my class.  It gets me really dizzy to type on the computer.  I wonder why.

The outside of the door is finished.  Looks really nice.

I went to my class and tried mopping the floors.  I did a coat of paint on my bathroom shelf, and it is taking hours to dry.

We sent out a bunch of Christmas cards.  Rather late this year.  More will have to be sent after Christmas.

Another granite visit???

SO as the granite was so expensive, we took off at 7 15 to Color Marble to see granite.  We finally decided on the piece Ben had suggested, Timblaka.  Mostly green, and very pretty.

We came home and KR went to work on the door.  Taping and sanding and varnishing,  He had a beer and I believe that is why he was so frustrated at the taping paper not sticking, but I was able to get them to stick.  I cleaned the back yard getting ready for the rain.  I thought it was to be tonight, but rain will start Sunday.

He also went to farmers market and got the girls some scraps.

We had Cindy's casserole and it was so so good, watched a little football and tried to listen to a sermon but fell asleep.

WORKING AGAIN !!!!

WOw cant believe how much I work.

Donna Crawford was my first patient.  She has not seen anyone for over a year and half.  AND the buildup.  I had to use cavitron.  Then it was Sean Stallman or something, Will's patient.  Will did not have time to see him, a college student, so I did.  Then it was Ann Cannon.  Her crown fit just great.

I went home, and Ken had call, the astragal door seal was mangled piece and KR had to drive back to Urban Door and get another.  Richard, Ken DeYoung's brother was there working away, and the two guys, Sebastian and Juan, sans Tomas, was working away.  I tried cleaning up a bit, then went back to work.  Had an appt with Nazareth at 11, so so good.

Saw Jim Ferris at 2 30 and took some x rays.  Kathy's car broke down and so Will and I were alone in the afternoon.  Got home, and took off for the office party at Marc's.  We were a bit late, and played a game.  The food was taco cart, and it was fab.

KR had several shots of the coffee Patron and I did not drink hardly,  We came home and went to bed.

No work Thursday

THANK you very much, Dr Deepa worked today.

KR went surfing, and Ken DeYoung's brother Richard came with his two sons and started on the new doors.

Tomas the head worker did not come today.  His son Juanito and the other guy came and painted and put in base boards and tried to clean up a little

Ben came to pick them up.  He said the cabinets should be coming tomorrow and they might start tomorrow on installation.  He wanted to start downstairs, and we said no way.  No room to put anything.

Cindy Gonzalez came and gave us some food.  We had the lemon meringue pie from last night.  I cooked some beef stew today and the workers had it for lunch, and so did KR,

We walked the dog down at the beach and then drove to Candy Cane lane to look at the lights.

Wednesday

Yoga was at 6 and it was 39 degrees.  SO COLD in the house.

I drove John Macy to the airport.   He caught a flight to Reno, then to Houston, then to Brazil.  Wow, I am tired just thinking about it.

Then I went to see locks at Cooks Windows and Doors.

The workers installed most of the flooring.

Ken DeYoung came and said he can do the doors.  Or his brother will come and do it tomorrow and Friday.

We had our office party, it was hilarious.  We got some interesting gifts.

LONG LONG DAY OF WORK

I worked for Dr Desai today, 8 - 6.  It was such a long day.

KR picked up the doors after 1 pm today


Met John and KR at El Burrito Jr for dinner.

Monday

The workers all came.

I went to Yoga With ADELE  !!!!

That was the bomb.  It was cold cold and cold.

The workers put the back door in and the window people came in and put the sliders in and the kitchen window.

They started painting the living room, pale green and pale yellow.

We went to see new doors at Urban Doors, in Los Angeles.  13900 S Broadway, and bought two doors.  KR will pick them up tomorrow.

We went to Rio Stone in Carson and looked at their slabs.  Found several we liked, were very expensive.

Had dinner at Wahoo Fish Taco, last of the Blood Food.

Church Sunday

We walked to the park, and then to the 9 am service at KHC.  My back is so sore lately, with the neck pains.  The music was loud so I walked around outside the church before I went back in to the sermon.

After church we came home and KR weed whacked the yard and I went to mom's to 'repair' the cane chairs.  I also rode around the neighborhood to try to ease my dizziness.  I went to mom's to sit in the jacuzzi to ease the backache.  I took a nap as soon as I got home and fell asleep.

I went to my class at the Y, and then KR went to church for the church event.  We went to bed early as usual

More granite shopping

We went and walked the dog at the beach early.  KR had Klub at church, then a movie with the kids after Klub.

So on the recommendation of Doug Holker, KR's classmate, I drove to 135th street in Gardena to look at granite.  Videl Echivarreia was not there but his brother was and he said to go to Rio Stone, in Carson, and I drove over there.  There were several nice slabs.  I took down the names, and I think I won't be buying the 4000 dollar pieces from the place in Temple City.

Came home and rested.  Went biking around the neighborhood to see if I can find stuff. 

We left for Faye and Jae;s in Nichols Canyon.  Took an hour to get there.  I thought she lived south of the 10 boy was I wrong.  Her house was beautiful, with swimming pool, custom made furniture and bed with lucite poles, and a 3000 dollar toilet both downstairs and in her bathroom  WOWOWOWO

We were the first one to leave, at 8 30.  I was so so tired.

More working Friday

I went to work at 8 seeing Brad Dennis for crown prep #3.  I had to grind the whole thing off, and we did filling on #32 also.

Then Michelle and Everest Beebe came.  After seeing them, I went home for a few hours.  Ate the left over of the workers.  and went back to work to see Lea Gooch.  Her teeth were pretty good.  Then it was Chris Bruno appt number 10.  He has no openings until December 30. I am on the wait list.

Came home and went to Donna's.  She only set up one table so the men ate first, and then we ate.  I think Carole was pretty hungry so she told them to hurry.

I tried buying tickets for Will. NO CAN DO, the phone did not want to connect with the server.  I was pretty dizzy so we came home earlier than anyone else.

Working Thursday

Got to work early, well, on time.  Got off at 1 and went to Dr Olinger's but they were out to lunch.  My left lens fell off again.  So I rode my bike to Sams and they put a new screw in.

KR took a nap.  We walked the dog at the beach and came home and had left over.,  The guys finished mudding the ceilings and will be priming and sanding tomorrow.

KR picked up John Macy from the airport and he stayed in the other room upstairs instead of with Deb Perkins.  He is driving to Carlsbad tomorrow.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Lovely

We walked the dog at the Fire Trail early, after my yoga class.  Cali, Adele's dog is not doing well.  She is taking her back to the vet.  Don't know what the problem is.

KR does not surf, too flat.  He goes to fix the dishwasher and it is hard wired in, so he and Tomas had to get some stuff from Home Depot to fix it.  We buy the guys lunch from El Burrito Jr.  We have left over from Olive Garden.  YUM.  THANK YOU Jeff Yamane.

I had appt with Nazareth at 3 and I walked around the Southwood area, had a little time.  Picked up a little white paint to mix with the brown.  Need to pick paint colors soon.  The guys were finishing the ceiling in the living room.  And the gas line is done too.



We went to Rock N Brew with Penny, Karen, Barry, Debbie and Darlene and had pupus ad drinks.  It was so nice to see all the old folks.  Came home and went to bed.

Working and Chiro Tuesday

KR went surfing and I had an appt with Chris at 9 45.  Kelby also wanted the chandelier so I brought it down there and she met me at the parking lot.  Came home and Jesse came we had a chat and went to work.  I still could not get his crown off !!!!  We did a little filling on #15 OCC and then Judi and Brad Dennis.

 Came home and Jeff Yamane had dropped off a gift card to Olive Garden.  We had not been there for years and we had a wonderful dinner.

The guys were working all day, and they moved the gas line, and finished the lights in the living room.  I got the oven and the dishwasher via BestBuy.  BUT the oven was the wrong size.  I thought I bought the 27 but I got the 30 so I text Ben to make sure the oven would fit the cabinet.

Things are moving along.

I took about .25 as it was rocking too much before work, didn't seem to help.

Yoga Monday without Adele

Adele text me that she thinks Cali had a seizure yesterday so she was not sure if she was coming to yoga.  I lasted about 45 min efore my back started so I went home.  It was very cold  I waited for the guys and then went to the paint store.  Tomas and crew came about 8.  Instead of adding white, I bought two more colors.  More pale this time.

Today they are installing lights.  There is a lot more room in the ceiling in the living room.  I thought the gimbal lights would not be right.  But they are ok.  Too bad Tomas could not find the silver ones, they were white and would of course photo age.

There should be no more rain the next 7 - 10 days.  I am tired of this wet.  So today is the fifth day they have been working.  Ben says two months.  I hope so.  Still have not decided on the granite yet.

KR went to the event that Chris Cannon is sponsoring  I went to bed by 7 30 after talking to Mary and Rita.  Both of their birthday tomorrow.  KR stopped at In N Out for TWO burgers.  He said there were only hors d'oeuvres at the shindig and he was still hungry.  We went to bed soon after he ate.

Rainy Sunday

KR went surfing and I did laundry and tried to keep the place somewhat clean.  Church at 11, very loud and dizzy, even though I took .3.  It was not suppose to rain, but it rained off and on from about 12 on, very fierce rain, then sun, then more pouring.

Went to the paint store and bought two paints and KR painted swatches. TOO DARK.  So I guess either add to white or get new ones.

WE MISSED BRUCE'S PARTY  !!!!  darn darn and darn   those yummy tamales.  We cooked taco meat on the little plug in pot and had taco salad.  OH WELL

I went to my class and was very careful about my back.

Trying to figure out how to talk to Deborah about leaving coke can with cigarette butts in the house trash.  hmmmmm

John Macy is coming either later this week or next week, sans Yvonne.  I wonder why.

We listened to a sermon and went to bed.

Easy Saturday

KR went surfing and I did lots of laundry.  Changed the sheets, etc.  Sabastian was suppose to come but didn't show up.  KR came home about noon and I went to pay the HOA bill and ride around.

He went to Farmer's Market

I went to my massage with Nazareth and it was so so good.

We then went to walk the dog after ET surf where KR exchanged his surf leash.  We had left over, bacon sandwich, he watched MMA and we went to bed.

I also brought some grapes for church.

WORK and Riviera Party

KR walked the dog and I cleaned,  There is always more to do  I had to work at 10.  Prepped Ann's crown, needed a buildup, and recemented the old one as temp.  Then Magarita Garza came and I cannot find the problem with the upper left teeth.  I went home and picked up KR and went to HT Grill for the party.  It was really loud.  Greg was there with his staff. 

We saw Penny and Dr V's staff and Mary and Debbie and a lot of people  It was really nice to go.  We came home and I went back to office to see Rita Risor.  She is such a sweetheart.

Came home and then went to Claudia's.  She had a cookie exchange party, and the patio was so cozy.  We bought cookies from Trader Joe as we have no place to cook.

Came home about 8 30 and promptly went to bed.  It rained off and on and stopped about 4.

WORK DAY THREE and working at the office Thursday

I made it to office on time 6 50 and worked until almost 1.  It was not too bad  Cheri Nguyen is our new intern from Western.  Came home and Ben is suppose to come at 12 but he didn't make it until 2.

Tomas, Juan and Miguel had finished he living room ceiling and was starting on the kitchen popcorn.  Another guy came and loaded up a truck with all the stuff in the back yard.  So much junk and took it to the dump somewhere near San Pedro or Torrance.  They prolly took the stuff to the waste management company in Carson, as it accepts construction waste.

We picked the flooring, we picked SPC over LVP, as Ben said he cannot get material on time like CoreTec that we liked.  Oh well. He will start flooring next week and should take about two days.  Said he will bring two crews of three to do it quick and then it is the cabinets !!!

We took Deborah Perkins out to dinner at Ubon Thai over at Crossroad.  The food was good a bit salty.  Then we came home and went to bed.  I was pretty tired.

Day TWO plus office meeting

So I am up at 5 15 and made it to yoga at 6.  Going very very slow, and was ok.  My arms and shoulders are sore from doing nothing for over two and half weeks.  Maribel text me to get a cake for Angelica's birthday  IT IS RAINING HARD.  I stop at El Super for cake and made it about 10 min late.

After meeting go home, they are working yard.  Today finished all of the tile and the trash is mounting high in the back yard.  Placed plastic over the entry way, and Mooch is just freaking out, but Mini doing ok.  They start on the popcorn ceiling in the living room.  What a big mess.

I am home most afternoon, did try to go running when KR had his eye doctor appt, and I made about 1.5 miles before I had to walk.  Not too bad.  Not too much pain, except the hip.  Back ok.

We had left over for dinner,

DAY ONE OF DEMOLITION

So the guys, Miguel, Tomas and Juan came at 9 am.  We were not ready yet, so we quickly packed up the stuff and they started the demo.  They took out all of the cabinets, the dishwasher, and everything.  It was so dusty when they were cutting out the fish tiles.  They only broke two, which was pretty amazing.  They left everything in the back yard !!!!  Suppose to get them on Thursday, as it will rain tomorrow.

They also removed the drop ceiling over the sink area.  It looks pretty impossible to get the ceiling raised as the wiring is all THROUGH the 2x4 boards.  But hey, I guess they can.

Jesse came by and we went to lunch at Seafood Town, and then went to work.  His crown went in and refused to come out !!!!  And I forgot the light too so I went home between he and DiNesha appt and got the light and went to Costco and bought the sink and the faucet.

Came home and we went to Hof's Hut for dinner.  Our first dinner out in this remodel  HAHAHAHA

Listened to Brian Collins of KHC sermon and went to bed.

MONDAY YOGA

I made it to yoga and it was slow going.  I made sure nothing was amiss.  I just miss Adele

Then it was packing and moving furniture.  KR had a long long surf session.  He said it was great.  We moved the kitchen table to the garage and packed up all kinds of stuff.  The house look so weird.  Ben said that the granite is going to be 4000 bucks each, we said TOO MUCH.  So we shall see what to do.

KR bought shingles from JB roofing and patched the roof some.  It will rain later this week.

I took about .3 pill today.  Nothing yesterday, and about .25 the day before.

I went and saw Christine and bought more leggings.  Had KR drop one off for Nessy Lou.  I spent several hours online shopping for lights and then Howard said they are not giving me the 200 dollars credit so I didn't buy from them.  I bought two items from Best Buy and one from Overstock.

KR went to bed and I finally went at 9 pm

Oh, I also had a massage, Nazareth, and then an adjustment by Chris.  He was 25 minutes late.,
Did it ever feel so so good. 

Had some left over dinner.,

Sunday

Went to church at Branch of Hope.  Paul's message is so good.

We came home and packed more of the kitchen. 

I went to my exercise class, very gingerly.

Went to bed early again.  Listened to a few sermons by Paul V on Romans

Saturday

So what happened????

KR goes surfing and then we walked the dog

He started taking off the lights in the living room.  Very dirty.
We listen to a sermon and the dog and cat join us.

We had a nice fire too.  I made turkey soup.

Cabinet King

We walked the dog down at the beach.  Very cold.  It rained a bit and the sun was out too at 1 in the afternoon.

I went to Costco and saw the sink I wanted, Kohler, 299.99

Then I drove to Temple City to Cabinet King and got the cabinets designed.

Came home and went to Howards and got the oven, stove, dishwasher ordered, kind of.  Going to wait until Monday to place the order.

We had left over for dinner.  Kind of.  KR had three bags of popcorn, three beers, and a glass of wine, and then some left over.

We tried to listen to the sermons but he fell asleep in the middle of the first and I got mad.  He said he was not going to sleep.  I should just not play the sermon when he drinks.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING 2019

Well, it started pouring this morning.  I was really thinking of going to run the Turkey Trot, but Chris Cannon called and said his roof is leaking and Walmart is out of tarps.  We had two we can loan him.  Then we found out our roof is leaking too, at the west side of the garage.  KR went up there to put a shower curtain on  the top with bricks, and it stopped.

KR had been up since 5 am prepping for food and about 1 PM he is done.  I picked up Will from Artesia Transit Center and he helped set the table, clean the closet, moving the clothes so we can start demo Tuesday.

So all came except for Rita.  When Will went to pick her up she said she was too tired.,  Will was a lot oof help moving stuff.  We walked the dog around the neighborhood between cooking and serving.

The meal was ready to go about 5 and we ate alot.  Jaime brought a punkie pie and a cherry pie and Rita got a punkie pie.

I had to glue Jesse's temp gold crown back as it came out and he didn't want me to glue the new one as I had it in the car.

It was a very good THANKSGIVING !!!!!!!!

Wednesday no work

Went to Mr. Time to get new battery for KR.  Then to Mary's for the squash, and then to Fred's Carpet for the flooring.

Met with Ben Yong at 11, and gave him two checks of 9000 each to start the work.  We are going to meet with him tomorrow to pick the cabinet door as the one he brought over was too yellow.  Different than the one he brought last week.

Grace McKenna came over for some sensi-strips for her teeth.  I also gave her some varnish which should help.  She got here at 1.  I got a text from Maribel, they are going to start the OSHA thing early.  We got there by 1 45, the original time was 2.

After OSHA, office bought Taco Bell, we went to Fred's to return some sample and pick up another.  The lady there is very very nice.

Came home and I was not even hungry.  Had a chicken leg and went to bed.

I think I hit 109.5 lb yesterday.  WOWOWOWO

We listened to a sermon by Paul V on Romans.

WORK WORK AND WORK

I did laundry, and then went to work.  8 - 5, was suppose to be till 6 but got out an hour early.

KR did who knows what after Oswald.  He took Matthew out to Mulligans and I came home and went to moms/

I RAN TO MOM"S AND MY BACK WAS OK.

Monday all over San Gabriel Valley

So KR went to Chris' and I met with Jacob from Los Altos Construction at 7 15.  He measured half way through and said Mouena made the mistake of not taking the different height of the ceiling in the kitchen so it won't work and she has to redo her schematics.  OH MAN.  I left a msg for her and she didn't call me back.

KR picked up Deborah Perkins and brought her over to the condo and gave her a key.  She will be staying there off and on for the month.

I then went to Fred's carpet and flooring, the lady was very very nice.  I looked at all kinds of vinyl flooring.

Then I drove out to the granite place and I really liked what i saw.  Color Marble off of Lemon Street in Walnut.

Then I went to Meigi Windows and Door in La Puente and they had way cheaper doors.

KR was home doing house work, or actually yard work.

I came home and made turkey burger and brought one for Deborah and went to bed.,

Saturday Bible Study

Got up really early, and KR and I walked the dog by Veteran Park, after dropping a box off for Mary D.

Then he took Matthew and Bubba out to Mulligan's and me and Will packed some more.  I went to the post office and mailed a package to Kurt, per Lovely's instruction.  It was to be 65 dollars, if I wanted to send in a box, and if I can cram in a USPS bag, it was 35 dollars !!!!!  Oh wow, so expensive

Friday is taking a easy day

OR MRI DAY

I had an appt for MRI at 8 and it was not as bad as i thought, the banging and all.   Since I had both the lumbar and the hip, it took almost an hour.  I went to the Harbor Transit Center to pick up Will.  He came and helped with a lot of packing, as I cannot do it. 

I felt much better getting up, didn't take two hours to get out of bed.  Still a little tender but much better.

We packed alot and KR went surfing in Hermosa.  Came home and helped me and Will pack.

We walked the dog at the beach and then had Maui Chicken for dinner.  Boon came over and we talked about the design of the "new" kitchen,

Thursday

I guess God is so funny.  I did not have to work today, as Dr Deepa worked.  It took me over two hours to get out of bed the pain was really bad.  KR went surfing, and then to lunch with Howard, Danny, Brian and Steve.  WOW, even Steve showed up.

I tried the traction contraption Chris Bruno lend me, and it was too loose at the waist, and I have to figure out what to do.

I went to see Tracy and the back was better after the electrode and the pins.  I also packed a few boxes.  William is coming tomorrow to help me pack.  Construction should start December 2

KR went to work at MMA.  I am too sore and too dizzy too to go.  Took a shower and went to bed about 6 15 !!!!

Do Nothing Wednesday

So my back, man still out.  I go see Tracy Bailey, and then see Chris.  By the afternoon I was pretty good, but before bed, my back spasm just went high high and up.  I took a little klonipin and did not see to help.

This back thing is bad and throwing me for a loop.  What to do long term?

WORKING Tuesday

Rita Risor canceled so I only had Rita Woodbury, and Rita McKenna, then Doreen for delivery of crown, then Ann Cannon for cleaning. 

Came home about 2 15 and I was so so tired.  Back spasm, and sore.

Cooked some chicken for dinner.

KR had a bacon and chicken sandwich.

He had only one beer and watched a bit of tv

Not Much happening Monday

KR had bible study and I did laundry, still painful, my back very tender.  Wearing the back brace.  I drove down to Anaheim to look at stone etc and took photos.  Took me almost four hours.  I was really tired when I got home.  KR had done the bee thing, and harvested honey, but did not pack a single box.  He also had THREE BEERS.

We were listening to the sermon and he feel asleep again, after I asked him NOT to but he started lightly snoring.

I found more granites that I liked, but who knows if KR would like it.  He was mad at Ben for taking so long so he said CARTE BLANCHE, and I told him to stick with it.

I cleaned up a few drawers and went to bed.

CareHarbor Sunday

I have never been to CareHarbor on the last day.  I got there about 6 50 and the line was very long out the door.  I took the walker.  It really helped as the parking was far from the entrance to the Reef.

Megha, and the girls were all there.  I did triage from about 8 - 12 30.  Had some lunch and came home.  It was El Pollo Loco and very good.  Ben Yong came about 2 30 was suppose to be here at 2.  KR had two beers and was grouchy that it took too long with Ben.  An hour and half was too long.  He has no patients when he drinks.  And he is short tempered and rude sometimes.  He does not seem to think so.  He wanted to walk the dog.  And I had to drive because "HE CANNOT DRIVE WITH ANY ALCOHOL IN HIS SYSTEM", per his controlling wife !!!!

We finally drove down to the beach.  Ir was 91 degrees today, and tomorrow will be 86 and KR wants to harvest honey as it will be raining about Thursday, at 64 would be cold.  We got a bunch of boxes and will start packing the stuff up.

He went to bed, and didn't even say goodnight,  I went up there and told him how he gets mad if I go to bed without saying anything.  He said he was "tired".  Oh man.  I wish he would stop drinking.

MMA at Beacon House, Saturday, 11/16/19

So I go to MMA with KR to see Darryl Moore.  Got him moved up to the front of the line and KR took the tooth out, #2.  I came home and brought a dental chair, the doctor stool I needed.  Begged Jeff Yamane to come, and he did.  What a trooper.

I went to meet with Mouena Richards at Home Depot, for over one and half hour, designing the kitchen.  So many things to choose from, and I just can't figure out what to do.  We did put some stuff on paper, and decided which drawers is what.

I came home and KR was home from MMA. 

Darryl called he is still bleeding, and is concerned.  He went to Torrance Memorial, and they admitted him as his blood pressure was too high.  He finally stopped bleeding about 8 pm.

We went to Joann and Tony's for bible study and dessert bar.  EVERYONE showed up.  It was great great and great.

Came home and went to bed.

Had not been able to sleep well.  Gets up to pee and then cannot go back to sleep.

NO CareHarbor for me

KR and I get up about 5 30.  Too much pain to do anything.  He leaves for CareHarbor and I just sit at home.  I did manage to do laundry, dragging a little bit of clothe down at a time.  Maggie Pagan brought some advil over and I have an appt with Curt Lee before he is to order MRI.

Went over to Christine house and bought leggings.  She posted on NextDoor, 6 dollars a pair and I bought 20.  Got 3 for Amy the yoga teacher, and some for the girls at the office.  Megha, Maribel, Tracy, Yvonne, Kim, Monica, six total, and one for Adele.  One for Mary Eileen.  That leaves me with 9 to keep or give away. 

I got the order for MRI from Chris Bruno so I canceled the appt with Curt Lee.  I also went to Urgent Care on Sepulveda.  Christine said they were really fast.  I got a shot of dexamethasone, and Toradol.  They were quick and efficient, the doctor saw you and the nurse comes and give you the shots.  I felt better coming out. 

I came home, and KR called and said he was done with triage, and not wanting to work in the clinic and came home.  We had left over and went to bed.  Tomorrow is another LONG day.

KR works for me

So much pain getting up and getting dressed.

KR drives me to work and he works for me about 7 - 9 am, delivering crowns and doing some fillings.  We go home and I cannot move,.  Had lunch and then drove out to Walnut to meet Ben Yong, to look at stove top, dish washer, etc.  Flooring was at another place, and finally arrived home about 4 30.

I took a bunch of pain meds, advil only, and went to bed early.

Adele cooked tuna for us last night, so good.  KR had a pastrami sandwich for lunch.

AHHHH MY BACK WENT OUT

Made it to the 6 am yoga and while warming up, my back went out.  I cannot sit and rotate my torso.  Adele drove me home and I went and laid down.  KR walked the dog and went for a paddle.

I stayed in bed almost all day.  Back sore.  Put on back brace.  Took a muscle relaxant and 3 advil.

KR went to Nazareth appt at 2, and took me to see Chris Bruno at 3 30.

Felt much better, hope tomorrow I can work

Then lunch with Jesse.  KR was suppose to come at 11 30 but he didn't show until 12 30, and I went back to work.  Saw Kimel at 1, delivered crown and then fill #14 MO. 

Went to Trader Joe and then saw Darryl Moore at 3.

Went down to the beach walked Gracie with KR.  Came home to left overs and went to bed.  Listened to another sermon.

Monday meet with Ben Yong

I made a mistake.

I had made an appt with Ben Yong, the contractor at 12 00 and thinking my appt with Chris Bruno was at 2 30.  NOOOOO  My app with Chris was 12 30, and so KR took that appt.  Ben was running late so he came at 12 30 and KR came back to meet with us both after his appt.

I made it to the yoga with Adele at 6 am

I rode around and took pictures of Mary Rudisille's kitchen and the surfer guy around the corner and I will modify them all for our needs.

Still very dizzy, no meds for almost two weeks???? 

Went to bed early, after listening to sermon.

Wednesday through Sunday

Easy Peasy Tuesday

KR went to Oswald, and I slept in.  Went walking the dog at the parking lot, Dirty John not started filming yet.  The movie trucks have been there for a few days.  Then KR went to pay his ticket and I went for a massage with Nazareth.

Came home for a little lunch, then appt with Chris Bruno.  He really worked on my hip and it feels much better.  KR and I then went down to the beach.  I ran about 2 miles while he walked Gracie.  Came home and ate dinner and went to bed.

Packed for the trip too.

Made appt for Home Depot design to come and measure for new kitchen.  Next Tuesday.

And it is now Sunday night, can't remember what happened the rest of the evening.  Think I started packing !!!!  Tomorrow we leave

Gracie with eye infection

I spent over four hours cleaning the garage and doing laundry.  Oiled the rollers, cleaned the windows, wiped the spider web off, etc.  KR went to Chris' and then took Gracie to see Dr White.  125 dollars later.  He then went to see Chris Bruno, for his back, and he feels much better.

We unloaded the wood from Kurt's truck and I helped him cut it up with chain saw, me holding the pieces.  I parked the car back, watered the plants at moms, and came home.  Had dinner, went to bed, listened to Jeff Gills sermon

Sunday

Walked Gracie at the parking lot.  Trailers pulling up for the tv show Dirty John filming.  Whatever that is.  Saw Bill Brand, and gave him my number for work.

KR finished trimming the tree, after he got Gracie a squirrel.

Me dizzy from the morning.

KR goes to the 11 am service, on his bike.  I ride there too but at 12 30  The Velazquez lunch of tacos was good.  KR eats four tacos.  We left about 1 30.  Jesse came over and I glued his gold crown in, #18.  It came out again.  He made an appt for another crown.  That one is about 20 years old.

I go to my exercise class

We had very little dinner.  KR had popcorn

Went to bed after listening to a sermon.

Cold Saturday

I didn't get up until 7 30 which meant I had 11 hours of sleep !!!!  We walked the dog and then stopped at Ace hardware.  KR bought pipe stuff to repair the pipe he severed yesterday, in the YMCA lot.   Then he replanted the mulberry.  I went to pay the AAA bill, and the HOA bill.  Also dropped off a milkweed plant at Nyssa's house and picked up a phone case.

KR took down the Halloween decorations and I mopped the upstairs floors.  We went to RHCC 5 pm service.  Came home and changed the clocks and i went to bed, we listened to Nazarian sermon.

Working again, Friday 11/1/19

Kathy calls me at 8 and said Darryl Moore is there.  He is suppose to be at 9, but I rushed down there and saw him.  Then Doreen came for the crown prep.  It was really hard to section the crown between 13/14 as the PFM's were made of hubcap metal !!!!  I finally sectioned the joint, then I had to cut the whole #14 off.  Took me about 7 burs.

Took the impression, and came home after making a single unit temp.  I went for a ride.  KR cleaned and cleared the serenity garden, and planted a mulberry tree, but severed the water pipe.  Will have to fix that later.

KR went to Dan Bradford's house for the missionary meeting, and I was in bed by 8 30.  Had a short conversation with mom.

HALLOWEEN and work Thursday

So I dressed up as a lifeguard.  AND Tracy had a SHARK mask so that was great.  I also brought the shelves I found on the street to the office for the girls for the back shack.

Work was not too busy  I made someone's bleaching splints

Got home and went for a bike ride.  Very dizzy but no meds

I did take some Tuesday for work.

We walked the dog and got ready for TRICK OR TREATERS!!!!

There were at least 75 people/kids

KR handled most of the kids and I went to bed by 8 !!!!!!

Massage Wednesday

I went to yoga with Adele, then did laundry and then to massage.  Drove straight to see Billie Gogian up in Rancho Palos Verdes.  House call.  Her teeth were a mess.  So much plaque and food debris all around.  After I cleaned them, tried to do some house cleaning.

We had continue education with Trent and Martin at HT Grill.  It was so so nice to see the old gang of the village.  The topic was on implants with a very impressive Dr Koo.

We stopped at Nancy's to look at their kitchen.  I want to do the remodel next March or so.

Finally got to bed at 10

Working Tuesday

I had Darryl at 8 for S/RP and then Kimel for prep #19.  Since I had a bit of time I went down to the beach to run after Darryl.  AND then promptly forgot where I parked the car.  I thought it was Ave F, so I searched F, E, D, C, B and got to Knob Hill, and the car turned up to be on G !!!  Thank goodness Kimel text that he was running 15 minutes late.

After the prep, I came home and we went for a bike ride.  On the way back, I saw these two girls, Emma and Olivia, riding bikes with saddle bags like they were on a real road trip.  I offered them a bed for the night.  We gave them address and we drove home.  They didn't come for over an hour.  Turns out they had a flat, and then showed up.

We took them to the jacuzzi as I was pretty tired from the ride, and then to Green Temple to eat.  They are vegetarians,  They ate the whole meal !!!!!  We came home and all went to bed.

They are from Australia.  One from Canberra and one from Sydney.  Working in Vancouver and decided to ride Highway 1 all the way down from Canada to the Mexican border, and then fly from Tijuana to Puerto Vallerta, then back to Canada.

They were very nice girls.

Monday Only 80 degrees

Adele and I wet to yoga.  It was nice seeing her.  KR went to Chris' and then did some yard work.  I cleaned the living room windows.  There is a fire near Getty and the freeway was closed on the 405.  AGAIN.  Them people get so many fires there.  And Napa Valley is also burning.

I booked the tickets for Taiwan.  Leaving on the 13th, Thursday night, or morning?  and coming back Monday the 24th.

I cooked some burger meat and chicken leg meat and we ate at home.

COLD KHC Sunday

It was COLD this morning.

We went to church, the 9 am service, and I was so so dizzy, I sat in the car until the music stopped.  Sermon was on ACTS.  Came home and KR took Matthew and Bubba to the beach, and I went for a ride to help the dizziness. 

We went to the Kriegers for dinner.  She cooked this great chicken, salad, brussel sprouts and dessert of ice cream, tiramisu, and sherbet.  Gracie chased Percy for a bit and laid down to sleep on the sofa.  It was so nice to see them.  Eliot also got us some coffee !!!!

Still HOT Saturday, MMA Clinic

It was rather cool morning, but got hot soon enough.  We went down to Wilmington, to Beacon Light Mission and did dental work.  I saw my patient from SBCHC and took out her teeth, 1, 16.

KR had a bad back this morning, something was hurting, and it got worse and worse.  We left about 1 pm as the pain was getting worse.  We got some lunch to go and came home.  He ate and went to bed.  I was pretty dizzy but did not take any meds.

After short nap, he thought of going diving, and the pain got worse, so we just ate at home and went to bed.

HOT 94 degree Friday

I didn't get up until 7 am.  KR went down to the beach with the dog, while I went to pilates with Adele at 8 30.  Lilly was great and Adele really enjoyed it.  I also cooked two burgers on the grill before it got too hot.

We then went for a LONG bike ride, from Ave C to Ballona Creek, total about 10 miles.  ONE WAY

I went for a SWIM !!!   YUP, me in the ocean for maybe about 5 minutes.  It was cold but not that bad as my knee and hip needed the cold ocean after the hot ride.

We went home and KR took a nap while I went to see Chris Bruno.  IT WAS GREAT !!!  He worked on my neck, and said the left side was so seized up, and got a good stretch and massage and adjustment.  I paid for 10 visits with 700 dollars !!!!!!

I drove down to the beach and walked about 5 minutes with KR.  And Gracie, of course.  Then she didn't wanna go.  It was still hot.

We came home and had bible study at Joann's.  Everyone came, except Cindy and Tony, of course.  Patty and Mike was a little late.  Mike Gooch was out of town.

We went to bed late.

Easy work Thursday 10/24/19

Will thought Tyler was coming down to get his work boots.  But from Snapchat, looks like he and Erin drove to Oregon.  Tyler never responded about his boots, guess we should just give them away.

Went to work and it was easy day.  Pretty busy but I got done by 11 30 and came home, then to the pool for more swim/walkabout.

Shirley Hatano had her shoulder surgery, and Doug said it went well.

KR went for a paddle.  Oh, he went diving last night and got three lobsters.  He gave them to Grace.

We went down to walk the dog at the beach.

If dogs don't go to heaven, then why is it backward from GOD???? 

Still HOT Wednesday

No work, and hot today

I change sheets and then went to Long Beach to see Elias Guiterrez, Elaine's dad.  His teeth were a mess, lots of food and a perio abscess starting on M of #20 from food impaction.  He chipped a piece of tooth on D of #21, so food is getting in there all the time.  I polished his teeth and came home.

I went to the pool, and swam/walked and then sunned myself for a bit.  KR had an appt with Nazareth at 3 pm.  He was not happy that I had to drive him, as he had a large Bud beer and BAC .04.  I wanted to tell him he can do as he please as it is his life.

He did get a ticket about a month ago for speeding off of PV drive.

I ran around the neighborhood while he had the massage.  We then walked Gracie, came home, had dinner and went to bed.

MORE heatwave

It is suppose to be 92 in Torrance today.  We drove to N Redondo to see the bike trailer for Gracie on sale at FB Market place.  It was too small for her.

Then a very nice walk at King's Harbor Marina.

KR went for a paddle and I went to my massage.  Then I met Corrina who is going to take care of Gracie and telling her what to do with the house, cats, dog, chickens, mail, paper, and trash cans.

I then went to work, seeing Reza Zaid, and I drove KR down to walk Gracie.  We then went to Wahoo Fish Grill for dinner and came home.

88 degrees MONDAY 10/21/2019

WOW WHAT a heat wave.

KR came home after Chris' bible study and said BIKE RIDE !!!!

I didn't make it to yoga, overslept

And Adele just got in late last night and said she was not going, so I didn't press.

I did go to the pilates class and it was great.

We drove down to Ave C and rode to El Porto.  The fire in Pacific Palisades was just starting.  After the nice HOT ride, I had a meeting with Tom Omoto about Donald Winbush, Mable Duncan's son.  KR took a nap.  We walked the dog, had dinner and went to bed.  He read me some Oswald's

Sunday

Tyler and Erin eats breakfast and we go to church.  KR went surfing early first.  I was really dizzy at Branch of Hope, but when the drum is not being played, I am ok.  Saw Bill and Elaine there.  She just returned from Jordan.  Oh what fun memories of Petra, etc.

We came home and KR had a quick bite and we drove down to Rosie's.  It was Frenchie Halloween Day, which we missed being down there almost 1 pm.  But there was still a bunch of Frenchies there.  I walked about 30 minutes on the sand while KR played with Gracie, then we drove home.

I went to my class while KR went to John's to pick up the bee things and to Sam's for cat food and nuts.

Tyler was suppose to come for dinner with Erin at 6 and they arrived at 6 15.  Somehow things spiral down hill and KR and Tyler had a yelling match and he told Tyler to just leave and they packed up and left.  Supposedly they went to Will's.

Will write more later about this.  Too dizzy just thinking about it.  NO meds today

Tyler arrives

KR goes surfing early and then to the church membership meeting.  He is one of 8 or 9 that they have chosen to do the membership thing.  I said no thanks.

I cooked bacon and then kalbi ribs.  Tyler said he would be here about 2 35, ended up arriving about 3 15.  KR brought his giant suitcase in and he started unloading stuff off the back of his truck.  He does not come in to say hi.  I went out to say hi.  He just said "hey", and didn't introduce Erin, his girlfriend of five months.  I had to say hi.  He has no social graces, nor manner.

So they come in and then he said he has to go to Jacob's to unload his drums and as Jacob's parents were out of town they were going to do the jacuzzi thing.  o they left. 

They get back about 11 30 and Gracie of course barks.  Then Tyler barges in and loudly asks how to get the shower going bt he does not say oh sorry to wake you up.  That kid.  I just don't know what is up with him.

We go back to sleep.  FIVE more days of this??????

NOT so bad Friday

I was suppose to work 12 30 - 5 but the Walters ended up canceling.

I cleaned my dental stuff that had been out, so I can get to work.  Faye was a little late, which was good, so we met at 11 30 at Starbuck.  She bought me a drink, too too expensive.  She is one kept up woman.  Nice and neat and well kept, expensive too  haha

I cleaned her teeth and came home.  We walked the dog, and then KR went to feed Mary's cat, BC and I went to feed Julie's cats.  BC was nowhere to be seen.  Finally Mary's sister in law came and found him.

We listened to the remaining 25 minutes of last night's sermon and went to bed.

Tyler said he would be here about 10 if he did not stop to nap.  We shall see.  We had left over steak for dinner.

NOT so bad Thursday

I had checked my schedule Monday for today, and it was a doozy, but as it approached 9 am, several patients rescheduled.  I think there were over 20 patients scheduled between me and Dr Shiva.  She is really nice and very good.

I got off about 12 15 and went to El Super, buying some stuff for Tyler's visit this Saturday.  I then went to AAA, thinking they sell Disneyland tickets.  NOOOO  Only the two day ones.  THen I rode to the Disney Store, and they only sell the two day tickets too.  We were thinking of buying them for Tyler for his birthday as Erin has never been to Disneyland, but the tickets are 129 DOLLARS EACH !!!!!!!!!   WOWOWOWOWOW

KR finished trimming the podocarpus tree in the back.

We walked Gracie and had steaks from El Super for dinner.  SO yummy.. ....

KR forgot to turned off the gas for a few hours.  I do that, but finally he did that too  hahahaha

We listened to Nazarian sermon and went to bed.

NO yoga Wednesday

I set the alarm and made it to yoga but Amy was late so me and Adele and another half dozen just stretched.  My hip was really sore last night, prolly from walking half hour in the pool.  So the stretch this morning was really good.  KR went surfing.

I was suppose to see Elyse's mom, but she text me last night her mom not feeling well.  So Tuesday Kimel reschedule, and today Bobbi reschedule.  Regina text me and said that the Walter's rescheduled too !!!!!!  Everyone bailed.  Which is ok.

KR weed whacked and then we went to Adele's and planted the little fig tree for her in the front yard.  She left for Indiana,  It was hot and KR dug the hole and filled with some compost and chicken straw/manure.

I had a chance for a ride to WF to deposit the check (from Will Weston) but I forgot the check from Toyota, so after I got home I ran, or shuffled to Chase to deposit the second check.  Then I stopped at the jazuzzi and then walked home.  KR dropped me off at Nazareth, for my 4 pm massage while he walked the dog.  We had left over for dinner and I was tired and went to bed before KR had his ice cream.

No work Tuesday

I was suppose to see Kimel but he rescheduled yesterday.

I did laundry, while KR went to screening at Beryl.   Tried the booth for three minutes, still dizzy.

Paid a lot of bills.  Auto, Homeowner.  Property tax.

I road around on my bike, still dizzy.

I tried to take a nap, could not sleep.

Then we walked the dog.  She chewed up a bunch of palm fronds.

We went to dinner at the Velazquez and I was so dizzy.  We did't get home until 10 and KR thought Mondo was whinging about being home and no one to 'community' with him/them.  The dinner was really good.  Steak, and chicken.  Salad, avacado/lime pie and we brought some watermelon, and two plants for Myra.  The kids, Sara, Sam and Ramon were really nice kids.

Monday to Monkey Park

I made it to yoga with Adele and it was pretty good.  Me slow, but steady.  I cooked some eggs for Adele and we had a nice breakfast.  KR went to Chris' bible study.

Then it was cleaning the dental supplies, so I can drive up to Monkey Park.  KR drove me over to pick up the van.  I loaded all the stuff for Jerry, and drove up to Atlantic Blvd.  His office ends up to be just up the street from the condo that James used to live at, just down the street from Brightwood Street.  So after dropping off the stuff, I drove to Shiao Mai and bought some ToGo food for KR.  THen I drove to mom and dad's old house on 1500 Pebbledon.  The new owner had built a fence out in the front, and the jujubes were just falling all over.  I took a couple of pics and went home.

Dropped the car off and watered mom's plants and came home.  KR had trimmed the trees and took a nap.

Doug came by and we gave him four lobsters.  Shirley had an appt today for her shoulder.  The surgery might be next Thursday.  We went and walked the dog and it was really windy.

I could not eat much dinner and we listened to Jeff Gills and went to bed.

Tyler called and said his dog Toby is in impound for biting a kid, barely, in the lip.  His friend's son was in Toby's face and now Toby is in lock down for 10 days.  So now Tyler cannot come to visit with the dog.  So weird that God works in weird ways.  I was wondering if Toby was going to mess with the cats and chickens and now he cannot come.

Tyler was just ranting and raving.  He cannot handle bumps in the road too well.

KR watched a little MMA, and fotoball and we went to bed.

No med today, still dizzy, but not as bad as yesterday.  Maybe the long drive????

KHC Sunday

KR got Gracie a squirrel, and she cut her lip on the raspberry wire by the sapote tree.  Blood all over.

We got to KHC and the noise and the reverberation was so bad, I actually too about .3 in the middle of the service.  So so dizzy.

Nice to see Nancy, and Linda, etc.

Got home and I went for a ride while KR trim the back yard trees.  He took a nap while I went to class and then went diving AGAIN !!!!

He limited with SEVEN lobsters.  oh wow

KR took Gracie for a walk, and I didn't go.  I went to the Core Conditioning class at the Y.  I thought I am in shape?   HAHAHA  Lots of crunches, I could not do them all.

KR had club, so by the time I came back he was gone to pick up Matthew.  They also had pizza and then bowling.  I went riding around and found some Halloween stuff, and two infant bath tubs.  We worked around the house after KR came back and he took a nap, and then went diving.

HE GOT FOUR LOBSTERS !!!  Got two shorts and threw them back.

I took some photos and went back to bed.  Didn't even feel him coming to bed I was so out of it.  No med today.  Very dizzy.

HAPPY Anniversary 34 to US !!!!!

We got up by 6 30 and gave each other a card.  KR bought me a beautiful card.  I wrote a poem for him.

We walked to the Korean store for vegetable for dinner.

KR drove me to work.  Darryl Moore has some big problems with his teeth.  KR walked Gracie and we came home, and I put the brisket in the oven for dinner tonight.

We then went on a nice long bike ride.  Ave C to Dockweiler Beach and back.  Total only about 13 miles.  My hip was hurting.  KR went swimming at Ave C and I ran a little on the beach.  He took a nap and I went to the jacuzzi at mom and put the little truck away, and bring back the apple cider.

KR made the mashed potatoes and salad and squash.  So much food.

Dinner at the Francis was great, EXCEPT...........    Cindy and Tony announced that they are going to quit our small group and look for someone more 'their stage of life'.  I was just floored.  Joann and Tony are going to be our new leaders until the new year.  We ironed out the meeting schedule for the next two months.  Everyone came, and Donna left early as there is KLUB tomorrow.  Mike and Patty looked ok, Mike looking a bit thinner.

working Thursday

I overslept and got u about 6 20 and ran out of the house.

It was really busy, but I got done by 12 30  Monica came in and her husband Kina had a perio abscess on #19, with residual cement issue.  I cleaned a little and they are on their way to Chicago tonight.

I didn't stop at El Super.  Came straight home.  I went running while KR took a nap.  Two miles at about 11 minute mile.  Too slow.  Took .25 in the morning, and seemed ok. 

Went to bed early, after listening to some sermon by Saddleback.  Very interesting.

Wednesday

I made it to the 6 am YOGA  with Adele.

My car was so dirty, so I started doing laundry and using the soap water to wash the car.  Took me a few hours to get the car in shape.  KR went to Home Depot and started on the planter.  We brought home some raspberry canes from Diane, and KR wanted to get them going. SO WE CAN HAVE some berries.

I went to my supposedly 1 30 massage, but Nazareth forgot to put it in her calendar,  So I went to mom's and watered the dying plants. 

Coming home, KR was pruning the sapote tree, and I paid a few bills.  We walked the dog and then I cooked the steak.

Tuesday going home

We ate breakfast at the hotel and started on our way home.  We stopped at San Luis Reservoir.  There were no one there, hardly.  KR and Gracie went swimming.  There were hardly any rocks, and had to go find them.  She loved it.

We then drove home, stopping for gas and quick bite at Carl's Jr.  Not stopping at Willow Ranch as it would take us into the traffic back at home.  We got home about 5 pm, and there was traffic on the 405.

We unloaded and I cooked some cod for KR and Diane's giant zucchini, plus eggplant for dinner.

I started rocking so bad when I went to bed.  It was great driving all the way, no dizziness.....

Chris' Wedding to Lili and the Glen's funeral

Saturday through Tuesday

We were suppose to go up to Diane's early Saturday but Glen Philips died Friday, th 27th and the funeral was Saturday, October 5, so we drove up to Burbank to the funeral.  Stopped at Johnny Carson Park and there was an old car show.

Lots of people showed up for the funeral, plus a whole platoon of firefighters.

We left about 3 PM for Woodside.  Stopped at Willow Ranch for dinner, and got to Diane's by 10.

Sunday we had a little left over for brekkie and then drove to Del Valle Reservoir and Gracie swam, and so did KR.  It was a little too cold for me.  We checked into the Hampton Inn and then to Sailor Jack's for dinner.  It was fab and delicious.

We went back to Hampton Inn.  KR had a bit to drink, two beers and two glasses of wine.

Monday we went to Napa, and did two wine tasting, and drove the Silverado Trail where I ran the marathon forty years ago.  Gracie went swimming at Lake Hennessey.  We got back to the hotel and got ready for the wedding.  KR said it was 2, but it was actually 3 PM.  We finally started and the dinner was right after the photo shoot.  The venue was very nice, The Lighthouse.

We went back to the hotel and went to bed.  KR had a LOT to drink.

KR went surfing and I rode around.  Stopped by Patty's and across the street there was an estate sale.  I bought all kinds of cleaning supplies.  Although they did not include the laundry detergent and the borax !!!!  Ripped off a little.  Came home and spinning much

KR took a nap, I tried, but could not sleep.  He 'sold' a mulberry tree to the guy at LaZeez Pita for a plate of beef shwarma.  hahaha

He took the dog for a walk while I went to see Adele.  She is such a love.  She and Mary are my two bestest friends.

We listened to a Paul Veggiano sermon and went to bed.

KR started tamsolusin, and still got up twice to pee.

Working Thursday

No 7 am patient, so we continued with the bur sorting, and cleaning, etc.

There was a site visit.  New Western Doctor Shiva is very nice and competent.  Slow day, but the last patient lasted until 1 pm.  I took impression for my night guard and went to Louie's and dropped it off.  Megha also had a patient, Marie from Child Guidance that she made a stayplate for replacing 25, 19, 30, for her reunion coming up and it took quite awhile to get it seated.  I tried adjusting it and finally said to meet Louie at lab. 

Louie took one look and said that because of the path of insertion, it would be a bit loose on the right side where her frenum pull was so she just had to live with it.

Came home and KR was asleep.  He did the screening somewhere in Redondo today.  He has another one next week.  I puttered around, didn't spin as much because I took .25 while at work.  Still no bueno.

KR watched football and I went to bed.

Office meeting Wednesday 10/2/2019

I didn't get up until 7 am.  Completely forgot about yoga.  I did laundry last night so KR hung it out before he went surfing and I went to the office meeting.  New intern, Shiva.  Seems like a nice lady.  Went to Chapman and then Western Dental

I had stopped at El Super for some cantaloupes before the meeting and bought them some pastries.

Got home, Nancy Lim was suppose to come at 11 30 didn't come until 12.  Carissa came too.  Told her what to do with the chickens and cats.  KR took Gracie to Rosie's

Then I had my massage.  Nazareth moved to Palos Verdes Blvd.  Nice location, next to Ace.

Then it was Dr John P Andrawis, at Torrance Memorial which was the old Torrance Orthopedic.  They decided to merge with Torrance Memorial.  I DID NOT HAVE TO WAIT !!!!

They took me in RIGHT AWAY for x rays, and then the doctor showed up even before I finished the paperwork.

Said that if the pain gets too bad he WOULD have hip replacement, wowowowo  Was hoping to hear something else.

Got home and tried to book Miami.  Changed my mind and our mind and booked New Orleans

Tuesday OCTOBER already

No work YIPPPPEEEEEE

KR and I got the new disposal from Costco (yesterda) and he tried to install today..  .....   NO GO....  to tall

I take it back to Costco he goes to Ace Hardward and get the EXACT same one.  Then we find out, or he finds out the J shape pipe was cracked and leaking, so we go to Ace and get more stuff on the way down to walk the dog.

I was too dizzy so I took .25 and felt MUCH much better.  Didn't like the feeling I had yesterday, so dizzy and neck sore.

Had left over for dinner.  KR had chicken sandwich for lunch.

Yoga

I MADE IT TO YOGA AT 6 !!!

There were 21 of us.  WOW

I had an appt with Michael Alvarez and we were going to talk about KR and drinking, but my spinning has been so bad that we just talked about MdDS and I cried and was lamenting on how things used to be.....

Afterward I went to Sam's and then to get my back tire changed at the shop by Dollar Tree.  Forty dollars later......   would have been so much cheaper in Taiwan.

I took a nap, so did KR.

We went and walked the dog and bought a disposal at Costco.  Old one is leaking.

KR cooked dinner, kalbi ribs and it was great.

I laid in bed for an our after the walk.  So dizzy today, and my neck so sore.

SUNDAY

Took Gracie down to beach for walk.  First had to get the van, as I cannot lift her up to KR's car.  At least she did walk some today.  Then I saw a fold out metal twin bed in the alley, and went back witht the truck to pick it up and text Rhen and gave her the bed. k

Also saw a comforter, so I washed it and dried it.  Did sheets on the bed too. 

KR came home with Matthew about 12 30 and said he had a good time.

We took a short nap, and I went to my class and then walked the dog down at the beach.  Gracie was really slow.  She is not even 6 and walking like an old lady.  Kind of like me.

Still very dizzy.  No meds.

Had steak and salad and listened to Branch of Hope and went to bed about 9 35

KR had a beer about 4 and smelled bad all night.  How can I tell him that smell makes me queasy?

NO KR Saturday

I didn't wake up til 7 am.  Gracie was barking about something.

So I drive Gracie down to the beach for a walk but SHE REFUSED.  She is just so out of sort, with KR being gone.  She walked maybe 30 feet and then said 'nah' and came back to the car.  We saw Scott and Gracie just slobbered all over him to be pet.

Cynthia White came by, Snow has a piece of archwire sticking out on the left side of her mouth that was really cutting her.  The ortho people at UCLA needs to make sure they don't hurt like that.  I snipped the wire and they went on their way.  Second time I am seeing them at the house.  Last time was the separator coming out.

I cleaned some more.  It misted slightly, so I made sure the yard was nice.  Was hoping that would rain more.  No such luck.

I am really dizzy, and my neck is so sore from what I guess is keeping my head on without the spinning.  I didn't take any meds.  Stopped at Ralph's and got some orange juice, 1 79 each, and a pack of chicken.  I boiled some chicken for Gracie and the chickens.   HAHAHA  chickens eating chicken............

I took a short nap, and then Mooch woke me, running around chasing a little blue fur ball and just being a kitten.  Was hoping to take a longer nap.  No such luck.  Gracie and I walked to the park and back.  The helicopter was circling around Target./Maple/Carson.  Someone robbed Target of some alcohol I think and the cops were telling everyone to stay inside as they looked for the two guys.  Man oh man.

I also went over to mom's and put the roll away bed away.  Rhen was going to borrow it but when she came last night to get it, she said it was too nice and her friend might not take care of it so she just took the roll away closet thing I got in the alley and left the bed.

I thoroughly swept the front steps area and wiped down all the spiders and dust so the front walkway look nicer.  KR had done a nice job in the back yard cleaning up all the old tomatoes.  The yard is looking nice.

More cleaning tomorrow.  Will try to do the table where my computer is and sort the music CD's as no one listens to them anyway.  Paperwork really accumulate so easily.

I also looked at flights, it is about 380 round trip

Friday of Men's Retreat

KR and I go to beach to walk Gracie.  I am really dizzy today.  BUT did not take any meds.  Wanna know if I can get past this.  I just don't know.

He made some omelet and Matt came by and they went up to Forest Home for the retreat.  Matt just started KHC and is 30 and seems like a really nice guy. 

I started cleaning.  Cleaned the stuff under the microwave.  The garbage disposal is leaking something underneath so we need to get that fixed.  The weather is changing and looks like rain.  Two little possums came to eat the cat food that no one likes, the hairball formula from Science Diet that I got from BNT.  

I was going to go to Claudia's but at 5 30 I am just too tired to drive KR's big car there and hang for a bit and come home.  So I didn't go.  Still have a hard time sleeping but finally fell asleep about 9 30.

Weird work Thursday

It was very slow.  Many patients didn't show up.  I made a night guard for me, and one bleaching splint for Maribel.  Tracy was on vacation, and so was Yvonne.  Dr Liz had her last day.  I left at 11 30 and went to El Super.  When I got home, Maribel asked me to come back to see an emergency.

Darn

I went and it was just hyper occlusion, thank goodness not endo on #20 !!!!  I think Dr Desai did fillings on #20 & $14, and she had a tiny spot on the ML of $14.  I adjusted and she felt much better.

I came home and KR was asleep.  I cleaned up the back yard and just in case it rained tomorrow.  Only 30% rain.  The sky was really gray.

Lovely called me and we discussed the January trip.  I can't figure out what we are going to do, because my dizziness is still not good, and I can't ski, nor snowboard with this hip.  Dang this MdDS and my dizziness.  So the plan might, might, be:

Kurt goes with the Alagata's to ski in Japan.  They are going with their friends from Taiwan.  Mom goes to a 24 hour place for a few days until they come back.  We go see Kurt when he has his semester break on February 18 - 23.  I thought it was February 8 - 15.

We were suppose to go to the Velazqueq' for dinner in Hawthorne.  At 2 in the afternoon KR got a text that there were too many things going on and the dinner was to be rescheduled.  For when, I don't know.  That is kind of weird.  So we had dinner at home.

Bing Wednesday

Spoke with KR this morning and he says he is not happy although he loves me that I am too controlling.  I think he is.  Said he only had one morning beer this week, and that he will not abide to what he said last week that he will not drink in the morning, and that he is NOT and will NOT be an alcoholic.  He behaves like one, but does not see.

I didn't make it to yoga.  Went running instead.  KR went surfing.  Guess we won't be talking for a bit.  Thing is, he does not want sex, so that is interesting.  Gracie treed a raccoon last night.

Bing came about 1030 and said it was the transformer, but KR said nah, just go and get a new one, and he went to home depot and got another rainbird, and installed it.  Charged me 60 dollars only to do the labor for three hours, cheap cheap and cheap.  I gave him 140 dollars  wowowowowo

I had a massage with Nazareth, but she could not open the office door so had very little oil, just some lotion, which was ok with me anyway.  She is very good.  My massage was from 10 30 - 11 30, and came home to help Bing with different stations of the yard on the sprinklers.

KR had lunch with Bill Johnson at Honda Japanese restaurant, and had a nice time.

He took a nap, but I could not sleep.

Listened to a sermon

We had more 'blood' tacos at Wahoo's.

One patient Tuesday

KR went for a swim early, said he was going shooting with Jaime later.  I did some more cleaning in Kurt's room, as that would be Erin's room when and if she and Tyler came to visit.  He came home and had some soup, and I went to work.  Dropped off some blankets at mom's and picked up this wooden toy at Emy's and gave her some milkweed plants.

Leah Bernstein came with her two girls.  I cleaned her teeth.  She has nice teeth.  And she is so cute.

Stopped at Ralph's and bought some turkey meat, and sparkling apple cider.  Came home and KR was swimming with Gracie.

Took .25 this morning before work.  Feeling dizzy still.

KR still not talking to me.  I guess he has to wrestle his inner demon.  I made another appt with Michael Alvarez for next Monday.

Damian Glover finally called me about his drivers' license.  Came over to pick it up, and his medical marijuana card too.

Bing is coming tomorrow to look at the sprinkler.  KR will meet him about 10 30.  I have massage appt 10 30

Jon Liu came for a visit.  So nice to see him.  He brought me some Ball jar bands, the large ones that I need.  Had a nice chat. 

Went to bed after reading some Bible.  Still not talking

Monday

Went to yoga about 15 minutes late.  At least I made it.

So instead of Ralphs, KR stops at Von's for a beer.  I followed him down to the beach, nearly getting side swiped by this lady.  I think GOD IS TELLING ME TO STOP THIS NONSENSE

Hope we make it to 34 years in two weeks.

He paddles and comes home about 11 30 and takes Gracie for a swim.  I went to mom's brought the plant coasters I round on the side of the road, and watered a little at moms' and looked around.  I cleaned the chicken coop, placed fresh hay.

I took .25 around 10 am and went for a bike ride.  Always feeling better on the ride.  Afterwards, I went for a half mile walk.  Got bit by two moskies.  On my calf/leg

Mopped the floors upstairs, took the magazines to YMCA.  KR went to deliver a check for a friend, to help him with car repair.

Tyler called, and wants to stay here around his birthday, with his girlfriend, another one, Erin, and the dog.  Let me make a prediction about that stay.

KR went to Sam's and bought stuff.  Still did not eat the BLT.  I guess I must give to a homeless man tomorrow.

I went to bed early, as usual. 

Sunday

KR stops at Ralph's prolly getting a beer before his paddle.

I meet him down there at COTB.  First time in two weeks for KHC.  Jason was GREAT !!!!  I ride home.  He asked for a granola bar and I thought it would be nice to make him a BLT, but NOOOOO, he says, rather nastily, I ASKED FOR A GRONALA BAR.  oh well

Maybe I will eat it later, he say.  He does not.  I cook ribs.

He takes Matthew and Bubba to the beach and then Gracie to Chuck's and then nap.  Dinner was rib.  BLT still sitting in the frig.

KR went to the bible study at Calvary Chapel.  Didn't want me to go, just up and left.  Guess how many days of this.  Kept debating.  Think I will have to be sweet and just kill them with kindness.

Too hot I could not sleep.  The fan helped.

Kurt text he has a cold and is not feeling too well.  Prolly not enough sleep and too much fun !!!!

At least he is still going to church.  I took .25 around 9 am and that is it.  Still dizzy.

Saturday

So KR is not talking to me.  Well, and what else is new

We dont go to farmer's market.  He goes surfing or was it paddling?  Takes Gracie to Chuck's for a swim, then nap.  We go to RHCC 5 pm service.  Gordon Kirk.  Very good.  Talk about how the tongue can say all kinds of nasty things, and to be careful. 

I go to bed and KR has dinner and a beer and what not..........

Friday ALREADY

Well, with this dizziness, I finally forgot to blog Sunday through Thursday.  Let's see if I can remember what is up

Sunday we went to Calvary South Bay in Gardena.  It was such a big church, and the music, so so booming, not necessarily loud but I had to go outside.

I had a nice chat with mom at 6 30 pm

Monday went to work delivering Rocky L's crown.  Fit really well, no adjustment.  Noon.  They are leaving for Europe Wednesday.

I am sure we walked the dog.

Tuesday I had to work for Dr Desai, she took her mom to the doctor.

Wednesday KR had ear appt at House Ear Clinic and he took a box up to Will, plus a fitted sheet and pillow case, green.  Will didn't want to go to lunch.

I had a consultation appt with Tom Omoto regarding Donald Duncan, at 12 30  At 1 10 I said I gotta go.  KR was downstairs waiting for me to go for a ride.  I can't believe Tom made me wait over 30 minutes, and as of today, Friday, he still has not called to reschedule.

We parked at Ave I and had a nice ride down to El Porto.  Oh man, my hip and knee hurt.  But hey.

Thursday I worked from 7 - 1, but several patients didn't show up.  Then it was massage with Nazareth.  Oh so  nice

I had a counseling appt with Michael Alvarez, Chris Cannon's LCSW, about KR's drinking and vaping.   Michael was really good. I have a plan

Then I went to the CE class at Dr Bardi's.  Cracked tooth.  My head was spinning so bad.  The mike at the lecture was so bouncy.  Dinner was good.

KR went to work at MMA with Jeff.  He says Jeff never talks to him, just to me.  I went to bed by 9 and he didn't come to bed til 10 20 he says.

Friday I did laundry and dishwasher.  Last night there were thousands and thousands of ants.

Weather is cooling down a little.  KR went surfing this morning, and Chuck is leaving for back east so now KR and Gracie can swim at their pool.

Saturday

We decided to go home today, but first we checked out the hot springs.  We heard there were two.  Miracle and Remington.

We drove down towards Isabella and off of Borel Road and near Hobo Camp state camp site found Miracle Hot Springs.  It was too too hot for Gracie.

We drove to Remington Hot springs for a look see and decided to go back to Miracle and left the dog in the car and soaked in these five pools.  There were two people there when we got there but they both left.  The hottest pool in the farthest down the river and there were beautiful glass stones set into the cement and lovely setting, and seating in the water.  We soaked for about 45 minutes and went back to the lake so Gracie can swim.

Got back to the hotel and ate our left over dinner, washed Gracie and started home.

By 1 pm we were at Rod Rock Canyon.  IT WAS OVER 100 DEGREES !!!!

We got home, rested and cleaned up and went to Calvary Chapel South Bay for service, 6 pm.

The music was so bad for my vertigo.

We stopped and visited Mike and Patty.

Friday

We stopped at the Old Kernville Cementery on the way to Trail of 100 Giant Sequoia.  I thought it was General Sherman we were going to , but no, it is a National Monument inside the National Park.  It was rather cool in the morning, but the drive was beautiful.  Hardly anyone on the road. 

The gent that took the 5 bucks said that Labor Day Weekend there were about 10.000 people, yikes. 

After a walking tour we drove down the hill and had a burger at McNally's. 

Then it was back at the river for a swim and a float.  Gracie was so exhausted we decided to keep her at the hotel and we drove back up to Upper Kernville River and so KR can swim, and I decided to even float down the river.  It was pretty gentle on the upper part but the lower part people are still rafting. 

We tried panning for gold.  NO GO

Dinner was Primo's Torpedo and chicken.  We listened to another podcast and went to sleep.

Them folks were having a party next to our door.

Another Road Trip

On the way out to Bakersfield, we stopped at Zankou Chicken !!

Instead of stopping at Bakersfield, we thought it would be best to go up to Lake Isabella.  What a nice place  We stop at Ausiliary Dam and the lady said due to algae bloom best to go on the other side, so we did

We blew up the inner tube and floated a bit 1 48 pm while Gracie started on her rocks !!!!

I called three hotel/motels and decided to stay at Mount N Lake, which is right next to Wofford Heights Park and the lake.

We drove into Kernville and had dinner at Cheryl's Diner.  Kernville is just 10 minutes up the road off of 178

I fed the ducks by the river with the leftover Pita bread.

More laundry Wednesday

Getting ready for our trip tomorrow.  Didn't make it to yoga either.  Was so tired and didn't get up til past 7.

KR went surfing and I did laundry.  He came home and went to Mary's to help her measure her blood pressure.  She said it was really low.  I don't think she is looking at it right.  I walked the dog to the park.  I felt so so bad this morning, so queasy and dizzy.  Finally took .3, but the walk to the park really helped, looking at the horizon.

We did a lot of work around here, KR trimmed the bushes out front, and I delivered figs to Adele, bought chicken food and inner tubes and food for Mary at Whole Food.  That organic and gluten free is expensive. 

Working Tuesday

Both of us got up about 6 and KR went to Oswald while I did laundry and cleaned the front driveway and sidewalk, watered the plants, and sweep the sidewalk.  He the went surfing and I went to Mary's with the figs before work.  I saw M Garza and Kimel.  They are such nice people.  Kiimel needs anew crown.

Got home in the afternoon after I tried to fill my tooth, #24 I, which i did last week but i was biting on a fingernail and chipped it again.  The fill did not last and I tried at home to fill it I think the sink water cannot wash all the etch away so it is not sticking.  Must wait til I get to the office.

KR got a whole bunch of fruit from the farmers market and we tried to eat the cantaloupe and I gave away all the squash.

I didn't even feel like dinner, went to bed early.

Discussion MONDAY

So KR and I had a discussion after he came back from Chris'.  I rode my bike out there first to find my wallet.  I could not remember where I had left it.  I jut remember it was in a glove compartment.  It was not in the truck so had to be in KR's car.  I ran into him on the strand and rode home and went to Von's for chicken legs.

I told KR that he had been driving last night with either .09 or 01 BAC and when I tried to drive he said no.  We cannot carry this on and he said he will no longer drink in the morning nor the afternoon, and only at night and only if he is not going out anywhere.  I pray about it and need to leave in God's hands but I told him if he continues, he needs to call Tom Kawakami to put the houses in the trust, so that we are protected.

I don't think he wants to bother with that task.

He then planted the pear tree and got the yard back in order.

I went to Mary's and helped her when she took a shower and took the bandage off her back.  I also did her laundry and brought her some figs, which she ate them all.  She is slightly constipated, and in a little bit of pain.  Not much.

I came back and we went to walk the dog at the fire trail.

Then it was left over dinner and I went to bed while KR watched Monday night football.

No meds today.

New Church

KR goes surfing early, as we are going to Branch of Hope, Paul Vegioani church by Wilson Park.  It started at 10.  Very interesting.  Music not loud, and I can sit through worship.

Came home and KR ate lunch.  Jon Liu came by and I gave him a BLT, then they started to work getting the mulberry tree out.

It took them hours to dig it out, transport to Sabrina's house and plant it there.  Both Chuck and Gilbert came to help loading it on to Kurt's truck for transport.

We then walked the dog at the beach.  When we came home, KR's BAC was .08.  We must have a talk.  He also forgot the steaks on the barbie.  Oh, my........

I went to bed by 8 30

Saturday

I go down to the village to run the Kings 5/10K.  I did 5 K, started about 25 minutes before the rest of the folks.  Ran a 10 10 per mile race.  Not bad.

Came home and then to the 99 cent store.  KR went for a paddle, then we went to the farmers market.  He will dig out the mulberry tree and give to Sabrina LaMantia over on Grant Ave close to Mike's house

More working Friday

Woke up with ants ants and more ants.

They are coming in from under the stove cabinet and going to the cat food this time.  KR went to walk the dog, then give blood and to see JR for their lunch.  I killed a bunch of them

We go meet Cindy and Tony at Maui Chicken Crossroad for dinner.  We have salad.  Donna and John and Mike G were suppose to come, but Donna has a sinus infection, and Mike worked late.

We go to the comedy show and I donated 500 bucks to be a sponsor, and Todd drum up some business for the clinic. 

I leave when the show starts to go home and take Alan to the airport.  The airport is a MESS.  The parking lot next to B is closed, and the next one next to 4 is FULL, so we go around and around.

Finally got him in and the overweigh luggage is ok, and Alan flies off.  There is a typhoon, Lingling or something over Korea, so he might be stuck. 

I got home went to bed.  There was a possum in the back yard.  I stopped Gracie from killing it.

working Thursday

Schedule was light and then half of the patients didn't show up.

I did see Chase Bruno.  Did a bunch of fillings, and four sealants for free.

KR had Maui Chicken with Alan for lunch, and then a long long nap.  Said he had about 36 oz of beer.  That is enough.  No wonder he slept well over an hour.

I rode around.  Went to Jeff's office to give him some supplies but he was not there.

Went over to mom's to check on the garage.

Walked the dog with KR but Gracie just wanted to look at the gophers.

Mary had her spine surgery today, and it went well.

Offered Patty to have her relative stay at mom's condo tomorrow and Saturday night.  Michael is in the hospital again, temperature and low white blood cell count.  She does not need relatives to give her more work.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KR

My sweetheart is 62 today.  We go to eat at Denny's with Alan.  I didn't eat.  I don't eat breakkie.  Then I went to my office meeting.  KR goes surfing or paddling or something.  Then he takes a nap.

We go to the beach to walk the dog but it is too hot.  Has been hot lately.  We order kung pao scallops for dinner from Seafood Town, as KR felt like it.  It is his birthday.

Kurt's birthday card comes in the mail.  The best one he has ever made.  Full of drawings and stickers, etc.

Alan comes over for a hamburger patty and some salad

I go to bed, thankfully no moskies.  I took .3 this morning.  Still felt the rocking.

Tuesday

No work today.

Yippe

KR goes to Olwald and I do the laundry.  Sheets.  He tried to go down to Newport to meet with JR but JR was busy.  So they will go Thursday.

After he has a quick bite we go visit Mike and Patty.  Mike's hiccups was pretty bad.  We come home and I was exhausted, took an hour nap.  Woken up by hunger pang.

Then the garage door started going up and down  Alan could not get his key to work at mom's  He came over and I gave him another key.  Turns out he just did not insert the key in enough.  Alden and Gina are coming up Friday for Josh's game and he might join them and some Samoan relatives from Carson for a bite of dinner before I take him to the airport.

KR goes and buys a bottle of vape juice for Kurt.  He called last night.  I go to bed early and had the misfortune of battling with moskies for over an hour !!!!

Labor Day Monday

We decided to go to Rosie's after KR's class at Chris'

There were many dogs and I slept a bit on the beach while KR and Gracie romped !!!

He makes more apple sauce and I can more. 

Then he makes this rat trap out of a bucket and a stick so the rats/mice would fall down in the bucket.  We shall see if there are any tomorrow morning.

Too dizzy today.  Took .25  not much help.

Sunday

We posted the mulberry tree giveaway, and seems like we might be stuck with the tree.

KR goes surfing and I go to mom's and try to get everything fixed, like the bookshelf, but still has too much stuff.

KR spent hours making apple sauce.  Has two sink full of apples.  He cuts and boil and I can them. 

Kurt goes to the night market Shilin with Becky Lu, who has the same piano teacher.

We go to bed early.

Saturday

Something was not right.  I usually get a few hours of no dizziness but this morning started off bad.  I took .25 didn't seem to do anything.  Cleaned the garage some.  Got Kurt's car here and cleaned inside and check fluids.  KR went surfing.

NO WORK FRIDAY

This morning, KR said there were two dead bodies at the beach right next to the bathrooms down Dolphin Park. TWO GUYS on the beach dead.  So Sad.

He went surfing and I went through the stuff from Yvonne, called Jerry will be giving him stuff and MMA and Jeff Yamane, so much stuff.

He pruned the sapote tree and we didn't go to church for the Constable talk.  Very dizzy today

WORKING Thursday

So the 7 am patients didn't show up so we had a pretty slow day.  The chi chi girl, Abby didn't show up either.  I got off a little after 1, as the Yap girls needed some stuff explained.  They didn't go back to Magicland to have the SSC removed and #14 is just not coming down.  AND they don't brush much.

As soon as I got home, Yvonne called.  She has so much stuff for me, so I went back and got gloves, composites, these funny 6 in cotton rolls, etc.  I stopped at 99 Ranch and bought fermented rice, etc and got home about 3 30 and KR was still asleep. TWO large beers, 40 oz later, he was still at .06 on BAC when we were going for a walk about 5, so I drove.

We stopped at Sams and I ran around the parking lot of Costco and Sams and KR shopped.  He had California roll for dinner and we went to bed early.  DIZZY !!

Relaxing Wednesday

Yeah, right.

I could bot get up for yoga, at 6.  Woke up couple of times last night to look for rats, but did not see ANY, not a single one !!!

We drove around all over PV to check the diving.  Not a spot was clear 'enough' for KR to make the effort.  We came home and decided to do house work.  There are ants to clean, grape vines to string up, yard to weed whack, kitchen to clean, counters to be wiped, and floors to be vacuumed.

KR went to Home Depot for supplies.  He always buy too much.  Oh well.

Claudia Vargas Tuesday

Got up early to wash the sheets.  KR went to Oswald.  I went to the office to see Claudia at 9.  She has something on her tongue but she gags easy so she would not let me feel.  She also has a 7 mm pocket on 18.  I am referring her to Scot Rees, the periodontist.

Came home and KR had gotten home, trying to go diving but the water was really bad.  He did some weeding, yard work, and cut off the air layering mulberry tree for Micohn.  We went to the farmers market and got a bunch of old corn, lettuce, etc.  The rattus rattus came last night and set off two traps but I did not get any rats.  Will try something different tonight.

We walked Gracie at the Farmer's Market.  It was too too hot for her.

KR napped while I ran about 2 miles and got a massage from Nazareth. 

Then we walked Gracie at the beach.  EXCEPT she didn't wanna go.  Just too tired???

No meds today.  Very dizzy.

Martha the mail lady walked by without giving us mail.  Wonder if she did not like Gracie.  She never had trouble with her before.

Monday August 26, 2019

I got up early for the yoga class and KR went to Chris' bible study.  We read a little bible last night too, I forgot to mention.

I tried to clean the house and packed up some books and went over and got the truck so we can move the book case over to mom's.  KR and I moved the taller book case over to Kurt's room, and then we decided to go for a bike ride.

We rode from Ave B to El Porto.  I forgot my Biofreeze and my knee and hip was really bothering me.  It was really warm today, at least in Torrance, but Redondo was cooler.  Alan said in RB it was 98, and Taipei was just 83, while we were 85.

After biking we took a nap, and then took Gracie down to the beach for a walk.  She was too hot.

KR went to Every Man at church, and I went to Target for rat traps.  Set them out for the mice/rats I saw last night.  They were bouncing all over the grass next to the chicken feed.

Took .25 this morning.  I was really dizzy and queasy.

Last Day of Vacation

Since Del Mar beach you can have dogs off leash until 8 am up to Labor Day, KR got up early and took Gracie down for a swim.  I went for a 3 mile run.  It ended up exactly 3 miles, up the hill to Crest, and down to Woodgrove Park, where it is a private park owned by the HOA and only people that lived there can go there with dogs off leash.  I just ran through it, it was so nice.

Gracie was so tired when she came back that she could not and did not eat breakfast.  We went down stairs and ate and decided no more swimming for Gracie and we might as well go home.

We drove through Carlsbad and Oceanside.  Some really nice part of the towns, not seedy like I thought, like tattoo parlors, bars, etc.

We got home by 1 and I did laundry, and washed my car.  KR had a lot of beer, I thought three or four.  Guess he didn't drink the last four days so he is catching up.

I then went to my class, and we had salad and stew left over for dinner.

No meds today.  Dizzy a bit, not too bad I tink.
