Happy New Years Eve 2022

 Tomorrow is the new year  OH wow  Time is going by  so quickly

We were up and it was cold and wet     Off and on  rained  all day

We were  going to  go up somewhere but  it was too  wet so we went to  the beach with the umbrella and still got too wet and we turned  around and  came home after  maybe three blocks

KR cleaned his  car  as it  was filthy and I washed the covering on the  back seats and he  went to   FM and got  some cuttings and a little  lettuce  for the  chickesn. 

Kurt was  working all  day.

Guess he did not get fired.

He  is working Mondays  closing, Tue  and  Thurs  and  Fri and Sat  am  shifts

I went to  Target,  and  Ralph and  CVS  and Walgreen but  did not find any  good Christmas  stuff.   I did buy bacon  and  some alcohol for Kurt

We went to  the Kaplans for  a little dinner 

Corrina came over for gift exchange and watching movie or  something

Friday the 30th of December

 I slept in as usual.  KR  went  surfing and I did laundry.   It was not suppose to rain, but started to rain a bit so I had to text Kurt to bring the laundry in.

Kurt said that he thought he got fired,  as he was trying to tell his boss that he cannot work Sunday as he goes to church.  He sent me the texts between him and  the boss.  So he was kind of upset, but he is suppose to speak with the boss .  He was suppose to work at 9 but the boss said that he asked Dylan to open so Kurt drove to MB to speak with the boss so I guess he is not fired, as he is working tomorrow at 9, but not Sunday.

He says the boss is a lot nicer in person than on texts

I went to mom's to clean some more and to pack the suit case.  

We went to the Fire Trail, but parked on the top and walked down as I didn't want to get my shoes muddy.

We had pork chop and spaghetti squash, dry and reconstituted.  Kurt went out to a pizza making party at Juliana's or something

It is  suppose to rain  and  shower all day tomorrow

Dry Thursday and NO WORK

 So the day dawns not too cold because of the cloud covering

KR went and walked the dog and I did a load of laundry I started to clean my shelves on  top of the closet and found a box of Dad's stuff, gold coins and his watches and all kinds of pennies and I showed KR and he wants to look at the  coins.  

I went for a  ride for almost 6 miles after KR  came back.  He had  his followup derm appt at 11  and he went surfing AFTER the MD appt.  I stayed home and cleaned and cleaned.  So much stuff to do.  

We ordered from Chicken Maison AGAIN, but this time the  correct item.  KR picked up Corrina and Kurt  from the airport and Helen  came here to  pick her up.  They had a good time in Arizona

BunBun is glad he is home

Yesterday I picked up a scratching post with two bouncy balls  and  she   seems to  like it

Wednesday

 So KR went surfing AGAIN for a long time

My computer is having issues, skipping doubling the space bar and giving me two spaces instead of one

I tried to dust with air duster, and nothing seems to help

So as soon as he came back I went for a ride,  8.6 miles

We also took Angel to the Post office.  It had rained yesterday but it was not bad.

I ordered Chicken Maison but ordered the wrong food.  I got salmon rice plate instead of  salmon  fettuccine.  We ate  it anyway and went to bed

Tuesday and I have half day of work

 So I went running early as KR wanted to go surfing  Only 2 miles

I  did a lot of cleaning, taking the ugly sweaters in the box to Mom's for storage.  Gathered up a bunch  of  leaves into the compost  bin.  Emptied the rain barrels and washed  down  the sidewalk by the recycling bins.

KR came home and I went to work.  Was suppose to be 1 - 5 but Kelby forgot to make it to his 3 pm appt.  I wonder if Chris will forgive my forgetting appt as his wife did the same.  I sat around and waited for Margarita, who is  no  longer with Guillermo, again.  Her daughter Vanessa had another slip, of alcoholic type. And then Sophia is moving to Florida?  She is just wondering what the kids are up to and cannot get their life together.

Camila gave me a very nice Philipino to go box of chicken, with rice and two fried eggs.  KR had it for dinner

Adele cleaned house  and brought  over 6 bags of clothes that I will donate to Steven

My back a little tired.

Monday the Katsura's come to visit

 KR takes Angel down to the beach for a walk and I go to Walmart for cat food.  There were hardly  any to be had.  The  box of 40 I got someone opened it and  got four cans out.  So I had  to get some pate to make  it 40

When I got home Helen was there.  Kurt meant they were to BE at the airport at 9, NOT leaving at 9.  KR rushed home and got here a few minutes  AFTER they left.  At least I got  to say GoodBye  to them

I started cleaning as Neil and Janie  was to come and visit in the  afternoon.  We swept, and KR pruned the mulberry tree and I juiced all the oranges.  They were a bit sour with  the skins.

Neil parked his  car at the Del Amo mall to  charge his  Tesla and  I picked  them up at the Marriott.  The starbuck closed at 2.  They  came back  here f or a visit and I brought him back to pick up his car.  They then  drove to the  airport to pick up their son in law Matt and  drove  him all the way to Sacramento and then went home.

We had left over prime rib and  Chinese and went to bed,

CHRISTMAS day 2022

 The day shone bright and lovely and we went down to the beach WITH KURT even, and he went swimming.  It was not too cold and it got warmer

Came home and  KR ate a quick lunch and then we opened presents.  Kurt even got me some REAL CHARMIN toilet paper.  HAHAHA  Plus a t shirt  for dad and I got him a bottle of wine, can't remember from where.  We got Kurt some socks and a D&D game that he says is pretty cool

Adele and Neil came over on their walk and I gave them some romaine lettuce

We ordered Chinese for dinner from Seafood Town.  They were VERY busy.  Only Chinese open Christmas.  We invited Brian M and he came over for some shrimp, gongpao chicken and broccoli beef.

Then Patty across the street brought over some PRIME RIB ROAST, at least a pound with TWO bones.  OH MAN it was so good.

Kurt is leaving for his trip tomorrow

Christmas Eve 2022

 So almost  Christmas

Today was pretty warm, got up to 72.  Corrina I guess spent the night and KR had a TALK  with Kurt about  having her over.  We invited her to go to  the service at COTB but she declined.  KR said to pay Kurt to go with us, hahahha, not  really, but we gave  him 200 dollars for  Christmas.  We are going to forgive Will and Tyler's monies that they   owe us

We went down to t he beach early and walked Angel

Then KR went surfing and I went for a ride to  Sumi to pick up some candy and crackers.  The  new old bike got a new seat and I rode around the alleys

We went to the  COTB 3 30 PM service.  It started off warm and  got really cold.  We tried to call Seafood Town for food but they would not answer the phone, which meant that they were really busy so we went to Black Bear Diner and had a great prime rib dinner.  Kurt had a burger.  We had left over

Kurt went to work  at  6 pm - 9 30 or something

Merry Christmas ALL

Friday dinner with Elaine and Bill Johnson and Dan and Vicki

 It was a nice day.  Sunny and almost 70

KR and I  walked Angel at the beach  and I was warm enough to  take off my jacket.

I did laundry and  brought  a turkey  burger  to Kurt for lunch  and  borrowed his truck to get the bike that Charity's neighbor was giving away.  A very  old Schwinn  that had nice tires and I rode around with it. 

I changed  the seat.  That was NOT easy and got a basket from Naby and it is kind of rusty but very nice.

KR had a nap and I went to pick up a lint roller

We went up to Bill and Elaine and they had pasta from Chicken Maison for dinner, and a salad that Vicki made.  She also made cookies.

We were home and I had to wash Angel.  Clean sheets and all

Corrina came and they were gaming

Easy Thursday Wedding of Hailey and Matt

 I  had a great sleep.  KR took Angel to the beach and I got gas and washed my car.  Getting ready for the trip to San Diego

Kurt spent a little time cleaning his room, and we left at 1 30 and made it about 3  50.  The  wedding  started right on time.  I think they had  to as the sunset was going to  be  on time too and they had to take pictures.

There were 7 or 8 bridesmaids and the aqua color dresses were very nice.  Hailey had a nice dress too.  the suits were silver color

After, there was pictures and then the reception was at one of the conference centers right next to the yacht moorings  They had chips and quac and quesadillas first for appetizers and then dinner was taco  truck, with  chicken, pork and beef tacos with rice and beans and we had a few.  There was wine and beers and ice tea.  There were  sheet cakes and  only a little round  cake for the  bride and  groom.

We sat with  Gina and Alden, who officiated at the wedding too.  Matt's parents also flew out  for the wedding.

We drove home and  arrived by 10.  It was fast coming back

Mary and Corrina both help  take  care of  the  mutt.    She had a bully stick and was farting  up  a storm.  

WORKING Wednesday

 Dr Sata is in India so I subbed in for her.  Last week when I looked,  the schedule  was CRAZY but it got better as people canceled.  We were busy but  NOT  that bad.  

I  got lunch for everyone, El Pollo Loco and we  had enough  food for me to bring home for  everyone here.  KR had chicken, and Kurt was out getting some special glasses? to  watch  the light show at Southcoast Botanical Garden.  He didn't find them  

Kurt went out and I went to  bed early

I actually used almost all of the sick hours.  78 hours.  Almost 5000 dollars of sick  hours.  GREAT

Tuesday 12/20

 It was COLD this morning and KR took Angel for a walk.  I  stayed  home, and the coughing is a bit better.   I still have a running nose

Kurt went to work at 9 and  I went to Costco.  WHAT a crazy place.  No place to park and  so many people

We went to FM and got lots of romaine and some kale  I rode over to Sumi's and gave  her two heads.  `

Monday

 It was a nice easy day

I did a  load of laundry.  KR went  to the beach with Angel.  Andrea and Maribel came and cleaned.  I went to mom's and did a load of laundry.  I took the pillows on the front  porch and the cover to the seat and washed  them in HOT water.

I also  mopped and vacuumed and packed a suitcase of Lovely's stuff.  I will have  to buy cereals and the  suitcase was 50 pounds so I will have to take  some stuff out.

KR went  to the rental house and did some pruning.  We had left over for lunch and he took a nap.   I  went for a ride, to  Sumi's  and  got some more sweets.

Kurt went shopping for Corrina and he bought a shirt for KR I think.  Then Kurt went to work at 4.  KR went diving AGAIN and I went to Jack in the Box for dinner for the gang

HE LIMITED which  means  we have so many lobsters I  had to take them to  mom's freezer

Church Sunday and LOTS of Lobsters

 We  went down to the beach to walk  Angel and  we brought  her to church.  Kurt was a  bit  late so  he drove himself

We sang a bunch of Christmas  carols.

Then  it was turkey/burger/pork taco salad and a  nap

I went for a ride to drop  off some brussel sprouts  for Sumi.  She is so sweet to invite me to caroling   last night,  but  we  had Donna's party

It was a  cold and sunny  day

Kurt went up to Corrina's to play  video games, or  something

KR  went diving with Jerome  and  his mask strap broke but  Jerome went home and got him another  and  KR limited TWICE and gave Jerome a bunch  of lobsters.  We called Royale and  he came and pick  up  two  KR cooked the largest one  and I ate some of  the  legs

Donna's Christmas Party Saturday

 We went for a walk at the beach.  It was cold but not  windy so not too  bad

KR did some yard work and I went to mom's garage and got all the paints out  and our paints too here and went to Lomita City  Hall for the hazardous collection.  Very easy, in and out fast.  Don't know why we save all that paints.  We never end up using them

I also went for a ride about 5 miles when KR took a nap.

I also went for a short run, at 16.5 min mile so very slow.  Might as well walk

KR took Angel to the golf course and then we went to Donna's Party.  It was her annual party and we saw Gooches, Ackerman.  Wish Cindy and Tony would come too

Kurt went out with Corrina and he left Angel home.  She was ok.  But Angel peed on his bed when he was trying to get her to come out of his room

LONG work day Friday 12/16/2022

 So  I had  work today, and it was  a long  day

8 45 Maggie Pagan, 9  45  Chelsea Mariano, crown, 11 Rocky, delivery, 12 Joe two fillings, 1 Faye four  fillings,  and 2 Jesse

I h ad almost 10 hours of  sleep last  night.  Went to b ed at 7 4 5 a nd woke up at 6 54, with  over anh our of awake, but 10 HOURS  OF SLEEP?  REALLY

I  biked for 6 miles

KR went to see Curt Lee for check up and  then Del Taco for  lunch so Kurt got some too.  That brat

I was really tired.  Took a shower and was in  bed by  7 15

According to the swatch I was asleep by 7 54 and then  woke up  at 6 13.  Even  with 8  hours and 39  min  of sleep, the sleep score is still 77

Thursday It Must Be a Day of Work

 I was up at 6, first it was 5 30 and next thing I knew, KR was bumping me and said WAKE UP it is 6

I got to work on time, took some cough meds and didn't cough until about 11 when the  meds wore off.  Still just coughing up a storm with phlegm and having to spit.  Kylie was there and she is getting better with cleaning but the preps need help, especially getting the prep large enough.

I got done at 12 15 and went to Sam's for Neil Kaplan.  He is coming home tomorrow and has the flu and asked me to go to Sam's for food.

I read his text wrong. He is coming tomorrow and I thought today so I went back to his house and put the chicken away in the frig

KR had In and Out for lunch, along with Kurt too

Kurt worked and had his final

I was in bed by 7 30.  Another day of work tomorrow

Wednesday another day of REST

 KR tried to go surfing but no go.  We went to the  park.  Still coughing but picking  up the codeine cough syrup and it really calms the  cough down.

Kurt had his last final, some kind of take home essay?  He  was home.  I  went to Sam's then Costco.  Had to get guava juice.  We were OUT and no Naked juice either.  KR went surfing and said it  was a bit closed out but at least he went.

I went for a 6.85 mile ride.  Kind of cold and I am out of shape

I slept for 9 and 1/2 hours last night.  Went to bed at 8 and woke up at 7 but with the waking  hours of over an hour, I still slept  ALOT

Tuesday taking an easy day

 It was cold this morning.  KR went surfing and didn't get back until noon and we didn't go to FM.  

I cleaned the garage, and went to pay Neil's workers, the tile guy and the garage door man

KR is still positive, and I am barely positive now

Kurt went to work all day.  I dropped off food for him, curry and rice and green beans

I cooked the large steak and green beans and more bacon

I am still coughing  I biked just the  alleys.   Nothing to be had.  Almost 3 miles

Dr Chavez text me and wanted me to change working to Wednesday, next week.  I told Camila I cannot as I am working in Lawndale next Wednesday and Friday no one wants to work.

Camila finally asked Missy to work so we will have two dental assistants this Friday

We walked Post Office.  It was very nice.  Just a little bid muddy, but mostly wet sand

We went to the jacuzzi and the sauna.  VERY NICE !!!!

I also did some yoga and burpees

Monday 12/12/2022 Lovely Birthday

 Lovely is 61 today.  So for a little while we are only 'two years apart'

KR had Zoom with Monday morning group.  It started raining last night about 3 and continued until 8 or so....  I went to Walmart to buy cat food.  Chewy can deliver but so many of the mix flavors MiniMoo does not like so I think I will just buy from Walmart a bit at a time.

I also stopped at Ralphs and got some juice and soda for Kurt and milk  for the  two of them

He has  finals today.  KR went surfing.  Sun came out but still cold  I baked some bacon and green  beans  and mushrooms for tonight's steak, but I ended up  not cooking  the steak.  Was still half frozen eve sitting out for hours.

We had OSHA via Zoom and KR also had a follow up meeting with Valor via Zoom

We went to the Fire Trail and saw the tree that came down in the rain.  Wow

Kurt came home early from his finals.  Said he has another one Wednesday and he should be done with his next to last semester

Sarah cooked curry lamb

KR had the rest of Sarah's oxtail and some green beans and sprouts and went to bed by 7 30

I am still coughing a bit and this morning test still POSITIVE

Sunday and a bit of rain

 So  it started raining last night  and continued to rain this morning. KR and I took Angel down  to the beach and as soon as  we were done, the  rain started again, just lightly.  It was cold and we didn't g o t o church, of  course.   We watched church online and then  I started cooking the food for Elders  about 11 30

I made lasagna, pot stickers, baked brussel sprouts.  I had bought a vegetable platter plus  half of a bundt cake.  I forgot the tangerines and the sauce for the pot stickers, so I rode my bike back.  It was windy 

KR ate the stew  that Sarah made and took a nap

I tried but could not sleep.  He took Angel to the Fire Road and lo and behold, the tree that James was saying was going to fall FELL DOWN and blocked all of the road.  KR got someone to take a pic and send to him and I forward to James. 

James seems to be having a grand ol time with  Emma.  It  seems to be really cold, in the 30's.

HAHAHA  No more of the almost dead tree

KR had chicken soup with some salad and I ate brussel sprouts and felt all bloated.  

Still coughing and spitting and my nose runs  

NEED TO GET OVER THIS COVID

I went to bed at 9 and had long sleep until 6 45.  

Saturday 12/10/2022 and James is GONE

 So I was up by 6 30 and we left at 7.  The drive was very fast but the airport was really stuck so I took him to the arrival, very easy and he elevatored it up

I got home and stopped at Ralphs and bought garlic bread and a vege platter cake and some orange juice for the Elder meal tomorrow that we are suppose to provide.

KR took Angel for a walk and I did laundry and cleaned the garage.  Not having done anything for whole five days because of my back, there is so much to do.  Plus James left boxes and stuff all around so I broke them down and stuffed the recycle bin.

We went to F\M and got a lot of brussel sprouts. Plus lettuce.  We cleaned the  back yard  in anticipation of the rain to come tonight.

I took another covid test and it was SLOWER getting  positive line, and I took  30mg steroid today.  Will go down t o 20  and 20 and 10 10 and 5.  My breathing is better.  Coughing still.  

We went  walking Angel to  the  park.  She was sniffing something very interesting,  all along the way  home. 

KR took about two  hours  to clean  the  brussel sprouts.  Jen  came by about 8 pm and dropped off THREE plates of bbq.   We would have had a run for our money with  the Ugly Sweater contest  I  ate almost the whole thing, I was hungry

Friday Finally feeling a little better

 I did more laundry.  Since this  is  James' last  day, I  went up to the fire road to walk with them.  It was a crisp and cold and sunny day.  

James went out for about an hour and KR went to Costco.  WE TESTED and still positive.  DARN

So No Village Dental Party

They all took a nap and I went for a short ride

We went to El Otro Amigo Mexican on Crenshaw for dinner.  VERY good, and only  63 bucks for the four of us with much left over

James and Kurt opened their presents and James really likes the sweatshirt jacket I  had KR pick up from Costco today.  The neck is half way up and he says his neck is much warmer.  

Tomorrow he leaves  WOW seven months and 3 days passed so quickly

NO WORK THURSDAY

 Woke up  and back  still bothering  me

KR and James went walking  and I stayed  home and just  layed around

Even though no work,  I still had some sic, hours to use  so I  did  time sheet.  Took  me four times to g et it right.   Dr  Sata worked for  me  only part time today.   I guess some of  the patients only wanted to see me so they rescheduled and she  saw some others

I did ride for six miles when they went to walk Angel  in the afternoon

We got chicken noodle soup from Freda.  

We had more left over

Wednesday and more coughing

 Well, so we slept alot and KR is coughing a lot.

I go get the MERRY Christmas doormats and bring them to the office and  pick up the tea by Dr Sata.  No one wants to be near us.   I got home and James adjusted  my back.  Kurt went to school and KR went to walk Angel as James was on the phone.

James then went to San Gabriel.  I did laundry, washing Kurt's blanket.  Another load tomorrow 

I cooked pork chops and KR ate and took a  nap.

I went for a bike ride.  First exercise in FOUR DAYS

We then went and cleaned mom's garage for us to park the van back in.  No more James driving it after Saturday.  Oh man.  I really  think  I a m  going to  miss  him

Then  they went for a walk  and  I just  stayed  home.  Kurt  had school all day  and  came  home  late.

We  got  food from Sumi.   Back  from Lahaina and kalua pig and mac salad and muffins and tangerines

I dragged everyone down and we decorated the tree and took a few photos   Very   nice.  I  also wrapped James' and Kurt's presents and put them under the tree

Tuesday we got our tree AND WE GOT COVID TOO

 It is  Wyatt's birthday and Farnaz's birthday today

I got up and EVERYTHING hurt, including my shoulders.  KR tried to go surfing no go.  I  had him drop me off at the jacuzzi.  I sat  in there for at least 25 min and  then 10 in the sauna.  It felt much better.  James adjusted my back again and it really helped.

KR got us a CHRISTMAS TREE at  the YMCA lot

They went to the FM and James cooked a lot  of vege

I went to Tee (Facebook Marketplace) in Lawndale to buy shrimp boil, 20 dollars an order with  garlic toast and drink.  VERY GOOD  KR had  some and went to sleep.  Saying he is not feeling too well again.  He is  coughing  more

James took Angel for a walk

Kurt is trying to finish some assignments.  He is finishing this semester, I hope

I   tested  again as I  have office meeting  tomorrow  and it is POSITIVE so I  tested KR and he  is  POSITIVE too, but  Kurt is  negative

Monday

 AND  I still  don't feel  good

I  was  in bed by 7 34 and up at 6 15 and still did not get  enough  sleep  I  had   almost  NINE  hours  of sleep but the sleep score was NOT good

It  was  a day of doing NOTHING

My back still feels bad and i  am still coughing and congested

James adjusted  my back twice and  it felt much better  each  time

I  did cook some bacon and tuna and kale and lengua  and a chicken leg

I just laid around all day  NO EXERCISE except my 500 crunches which was really hard to do with a bad back.  Also did the 50 squats and lunges

CICLAVIA Sunday

 We were getting ready for Ciclavia.  I was sitting at my  desk with  my leg crossed and  I coughed.  

MY BACK  WENT OUT

I immediately went down to the Inversion Table and  hung  for a bit.  I put on several heating packets and wore a back brace and  we went

It was painful but doable.  Actually better on a bike than walking

The route started at Watts Tower, about 103rd street and Wilmington  We rode all the way up to Exposition Park and turned around.  Got a bunch of freebies.  On the way down we ate at this street taco place.   It was GREAT.  $2.25 per taco and KR had 3 and Corrina and  I  each    had one and   I think Kurt had two  or  three

We were home and then Kurt went to help Grace's sister put up lights and they all took a nap.  I tried to  sleep but could not.  

We had left over for dinner

James said  he bought his ticket for  December 9.  Next Saturday.  Seems only yesterday he  showed up

Saturday

 It is ONE  year since Gracie passed.  It was Friday, December 3, last year when she left  us.  

James  and  KR took Angel to the  beach.  I did laundry and changed the sheets and kept coughing

Kurt went  to work, and I boiled ribs then to  the farmers market and got a lot of kale so I  boiled kale  after  the ribs were  done  James ate  a lot o f the  kale.    Can't remember where  he went.   

KR came back from walking and said that James is  going to Vancouver and meet Emma and live there  maybe for a few months and see if they can get along for long term.  He keeps saying Power Couple but I think   there needs to be more than  that.  Like compassion and tenderness and all that.  I wonder  if James  is  capable.  Only time  will tell,

James left for his  appt  at 3 45 so we waited for  Kurt to come home from work so we can leave Angel and went to Ellen's  for her house warming party.  She  lives in  Hollywood  Riviera  Hills and the house has a beautiful view of  Redondo.  I  am STILL COUGHING so we only stayed maybe two hours.

Friday

 Dawns wet.  Started raining  last  night.  The forecast had said rain,  but we  never know  if  it  is  true.  It rained very lightly almost all day.  Or until about  3 pm.  

KR and  I  walked Angel to the park, and he went to his eye doctor appt and then picked up pozole from FB Market Place.  He came home and ate his,  It was great

And  I took a nap.   Don't know what came over me, I  laid down and was asleep for almost two hours.   KR and James went to walk Angel.  

Kurt had worked all day

I brought hime some chili and chips with some guava juice.  He said it was VERY GOOD

We, the three of us, minus James went to  the church party at Pastor Paul's house.  I was still coughing and it was still raining.  There was a lot of people, but because of the rain,  everyone was crowded in the  house.  There was a LOT of food and I ate a little too much.  We got  home and went to bed and I  had to  get up and take more meds, as I coughed for almost an  hour before I finally moved to the  other room to sleep.  I AM TIRED OF THIS COUGH

I finally fell asleep by 10  Had a good sleep until 7 15 the next morning

Thursday and it is TOO MUCH WORK

 I had  four patients at 7  and  four at 8 and it  was  so so busy.  Crown  prep and delivery crown on Oswaldo.    The  problem with the crown is that the  contacts  were too  tight and it is hardt o a djust that because you don't want to grind the contacts away

Then  Kylie Holliday I have to check her cleaning ALL THE  TIME  But we did   get done by 11 30  and I left by noon to go to El Super for pastries, and meat.  I spent 78 bucks.

Came  home and  it took me over 20  minutes  to divide up the food and freeze.  I also cooked two chicken legs for Angel  I then went for a short run to  Target/Marshall  and bought some essential oil, for the party tonight.  I wrapped everything and KR made the dessert plate.

We  got t here at 6  and Tracy  and Maribel were there already.   So the  ones that showed up:

Tracy, Maribel, Dr Sata of course, Monica Desai, me KR and Tina, Melissa came about an  hour late.  We had great food and then played games.  We also exchanged white elephant gifts  and we got home about 9"40  we were tired

Wednesday and it is easy

 If it is easy, I still cannot remember what  happened

So as  soon as  James and KR left to walk Angel, I went for a 2 mile run.  VERY SLOW   12 20 per mile

KR went to get  some potting  soil  and  redid his  air  layering and also got an  air filter.

James went to work somewhere

Kurt went to school but came back about 2 30 with Burger King burgers.  NO COUPON  They need to remember to use coupons

KR and I took Angel to Fire Road and we bombed a pumpkin off of the bridge

Kurt went to sleep like from 3 15 to it is now 8 pm and he is still asleep

KR and  I went to the jacuzzi.  Felt so so nice

He went to bed by 7 30

Tuesday must be farmers market

 KR tries to go surfing but  no go

We went to FM and  walked Angel there, so many squirrels, she was just beside herself

We didn't get much, just a little carrots and a lot of lettuce for the girls  James went somewhere, working he  says.  

Kurt went to work.  After FM I went to Taco Bell and bought  him a 10 pack.  

My car  DIED AGAIN, and had to be jumped, but we didn't have any jumper cables, as James had it in his van so I drove  KR's car and brought  the  cables back and jumped my car.  If I  don't drive for a week, the battery dies.

We had Bible study and everyone came except Karen and Walter and Joy  It was  very nice.  Pam made some really  good desserts, cookies and cranberry bread

Monday 11/28/2022

 So it  dawns cloudy and cold.  Today's high was 64 but the low was 52.  So when it is cloudy it is not so cold at night

KR did MONDAY morning  zoom.   Something he has not done for a long  time

I am still coughing.  Then he and  James takes  Angel out.  She comes back  with  a GREEN  face.  So dirty

My head feels a bit fuzzy all day.  I finally break down and takes Zithromax.  Maybe I should have done this way earlier.  I just cannot stand this  cough any more.  I also make  this garlic drink that Adele says I should try.  Tastes weird,  garlic and honey but hey, anything helps

Kurt has school ALL day.    

I did a 3 mile run at 12 45 very slow  14 min per mile pace

James went somewhere  

 I went to  get milk and bananas and lettuce  and found a little package of  ribs and I cooked them and made soup

Weather kind of cold and only slightly sunny 

I was in bed by 9

Sunday

 So KR took Angel to the beach.  Kurt and I are StilL COUGHING !!!  KR had host/security duty so we did not go and instead listened to the sermon.  James came back with some friend that he was taking to the airport.  I had to look at her teeth, tetracycline staining and she is under going ortho treatment, some kind of Invisalign thing.

KR came home and had a ham and cheese sandwich.

I went for a bike ride.   About 7 miles.  Then a short run too 12 32 per mile  SO SLOW

We  went to Paula's birthday present.  Gave her a Lorde & Bell package of goodies and brought home a plate of food. 

James and  KR  watched a lot of football

Saturday

I went to bed at 8 12 and got up at 6 41  Good sleep  But still coughing

 So it was a nice day  BUT I GOT FAT  111 pounds from eating too  much turkey.  Usually in the morning it is 109 or even 108

KR went down to try to surf.  Nope not there so he came back and did some work around the house  He trimeed the guava tree in the back

I changed the sheets and did the laundry.

I went for a bike ride 

We went to the Fire Road and walked Angel

Then it was more left over.

Friday NOT black for us

 We were up and put dishes away  KR and I went to the beach to walk Angel.  James went back to Lake Forest to work.  Kurt went to work.

KR then went back to check and then surf.  I did turkey soup with vegetables.  It was simmering all night.  I cleaned the kitchen and did laundry.  Mary came by and picked up some soup after she worked in the garden

WELL, KR finally came home a little after 3 and I went for a ride, up and down the alleys.  He dropped the stuff and took Angel for a walk.  Kurt came home after work.  I ordered some COVID tests for him at Walgreen's.  He gets 8 for free every  30 days.  I tried to buy some cough syrup from CVS from KR's Wellcare rx card but CVS says no cannot even though I gave them the participating charging instructions.  Man what a chore.

Kurt and I are still coughing like there is no tomorrow

KR was in bed by 7.  He did surf a LLLLOOONNNNGGGGGGGGGG time today

HAPPY THANKSGIVING 2022

 So today is the day.  I was up, and still has a little temperature.  BUT I went anyway with Kurt.  He said he was gonna run the first mile and then walk the  next two.  HE  STILL BEAT ME

I finished in 34.26, average 11 29 per  mile.  I guess not bad as I didn't feel too well

Kurt said he did 31 something

Mike Gooch did about 23 something.  DANG  He fast

We came home and turned around after we got the key card and went to the jacuzzi  I told Kurt he was gonna be a hurting monkey if he didn't sit and stretch  in the jacuzzi

He went to work and worked from 10 - 3.  The shop closed after 3 as no one wanted to work DINNER time at a smoke shop

KR was cooking the stuffing and I put the turkey in the oven at 11 20  It took 4.5 hours to cook and I took the extra stuffing and the green beans and the ham over to mom's oven to cook

Everyone arrive and we had an amazing feast.  Turkey, Stuffing, Bean beans, rolls, cherry pie, pumpkin pie, pumpkin muffin, gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, multiberry pie, and drinks.

Mary, Sean, Jaime, Brian and the four of us, had a lovely dinner.  Everything got cleaned up and I was in bed by  8.

VERY TIRED

Still had temp of 99 

We all went to bed early.  Kurt never even got up from when he went to bed about 7, and I was coughing a lot, and KR started coughing  The watch says  8 28 pm to 6 11 am sleep

Wednesday and almost back to normal

 Well, when I woke up it  was 100.8   NO BUENO   I laid around some and finally got up to cook the pumpkin.  I baked them first and then puree and made three pumpkin pies. 9 30 it was 99.6

I also baked the yams but I only peeled them partly and KR says hey, the skin  is like shoe leather.  HE WAS RIGHT.  I had to peel off the skin

3 40 PM it  was 99.6

8  pm was 98.6  BACK TO NORMAL  HAHAHA

I didn't do ANYTHING, no exercise no nothing, just coughing and laying around

Kurt got a text from his  boss that he is  NOT  going  to be paid time and a half  WHAT A JERK

Tuesday and I AM SICK

 Dang, I got Kurt's cold or flu or whatever.

I got to work and told Maribel I didn't know if I can make it.  So we decided just the AM.  It was really hard working and Kylie has problems with cleaning and stuff and I just felt so run down  My head hurt and  my nose was dripping

I bought food for everyone Chiptole.  With the GOVERNMENT refund money.  They were wondering why we get it and Tracy and Maribel didn't.  Hmmm  don't know

I   left about 2 and came home and laid down.  The temp went from 99 to 100 to 101 to 102.  And now at 7 15 finally about 100.

I felt hot and cold and bad

I didn't do ANYTHING today.  No Exercise, no biking or running.  Going to do the crunches and squats but no running

MY RACE IS THIS THURSDAY

I slept  in  the other room as my coughing is just  so bad  I was hot  and  then cold  and   then  hot

MONDAY and a LONG work day

 So I am subbing for Megha

Got to work by 7 45 and what a day.  Many patients canceled.  THANK YOU GOD  The original schedule was so busy, but still end up very busy.  We went to lunch by 1 10 and got back by 2 and I went for a short run.

KR went to 99 cent and to Costco and the cleaning ladies came.  I went to mom's and took the turkey out and brined the turkey and put it back in the frig for the next two days.

Kurt is still somewhat sick

I am feeling a little sick, my nose was running and my throat is feeling a bit scratchy.  I took many vitamin c and hoping that I don't have what Kurt has

He didn't go to school and he is n ot working tomorrow

Sunday

 Well, Lovely finished her  ultra  in 17 hours. If  I  am  on   my feet  for  that long  I would not be able to move, much less run/walk for 17 hours

KR took  Angel to the post office and I did laundry.  

KURT IS SICK

He had a fever and is not feeling well.  Temp about 100 but COVID test is  negative.  He slept most  of the day off and on.  We think he is just not taking care of himself. 

James took off for down south, and will be back Wednesday

We went to church and the guess speaker speaks too fast.  Pastor Joel Ellis it was  hard for me to follow.

I cooked some salmon and one piece of cod and some spanokopita again, and KR got started on the spinning of Dan and John's frames.  Dan came to pick up his honey.  We kept one jar.  John's frames are full of dead bees and all.  No one keep bees cleaner than KR

I went for a ride.  Took the turkey out of the frig.  It was NOT defrosted and after sitting out the whole day, it is almost defrosted.  I will brine it tomorrow after work.

WAAHHH   GOTTA WORK ALL DAY TOMORROW

We were all in bed by 8 30.  Kurt slept on.  Don't know if he would go to school tomorrow

Saturday

 AND Lovely finished her ultra, with bloody toes and all.  She should have brought another pair of shoes and many pairs of socks

We were up early and it was cold, but warmed up nicely.  KR and I went to the beach to walk Angel.  Kurt went to work.  Said he is not feeling well.  The COVID test is negative, but he has a cold.  HE is not sleeping well staying up too late.  NO wonder.  But hey, can you tell a 25 year old?  Nope

KR went to the church conference and I cleaned house.  Took all the rugs out of the garage and vacuumed and washed the filter.  It was absolutely filthy.  We also picked up the foam from Eleanor and I am going to make a seat cushion.  Charity wants some, and I will give her the extra

I went to Taco Bell and bought Kurt a Chicken Bowl, and then then went to FM but there was not much there to eat. 

James was gone most today.  I went for a ride, but no run.  Wish I can run like Lovely

Church had taco truck and 2 dollars a taco, we got nine.  KR ate 3, and I ate 2 and Kurt had 3, although he has not eaten them at 7 30 as I am writing this and James inhaled his one taco

Friday

 I was up and KR went to check out surfing. NO GO so he came home and took Angel for a walk.  James was working on the phone.

I went to CVS to buy the shampoo, finally.  Had gone three times, first time the 30% off coupon was not in effect and then the three dollar coupon expired, so finally today, I paid  $1.05 for a bottle of Suave shampoo.  Mint.  Still a bit expensive I think.  But I like the smell.  

I went to work at 12 and saw Joe Ward, and then Rocky Luiggi for crown.  Dr Chavez gave me a ham.  I asked her to donate the pano to our  clinic.  KR went to the  conference.  James took Angel for a walk and DID NOT LOCK UP THE BACK DOOR

Kurt worked all day.  I had made some burgers so I asked KR to bring one to him on the way to the conference.

I ended up reading a lot of Alzheimer blogs

Lovely started her ultra marathon today, or rather, tonight

Thursday WORKING

 What a long day

I didn't hear my watch but got up at 6 04 when KR said HEY you gotta get up for work

My neck hurts.  Met the new extern, Kylie Holliday, who is suppose to be a body builder.  She is pretty good.  We worked HARD and my last patient was Monica's mom  I did DOB on #2 and it was DIFFICULT.  A very large hole and she is so so nervous and because of that Monica cannot work on her.

I finally got done at 2 PM

Camila asked me to go over to the office to sign MediCal paperwork.  So I went directly

Then I went for a ride and then a workout at the gym at NH.  KR went to the conference at church and Kurt was working 9 - 4 and James took Angel for a LONG walk

I was in bed by 8 30 and woke up at 6 30

Wednesday and lot of work around here FIRST LOBSTERS of the season

 KR and James went to the beach with Angel.  I did laundry.  Kurt went to school.  On the way home, KR bought the screen from Ace and replaced the downstairs screen.  Took less than an hour and 25 dollars later it is done.  He did a real nice job.  He cleaned the screen and the tracks and put the whole thing back.  The place on Narbonne had quoted 70 dollars  Saved a bit of money

I cut up the pumpkins and roasted it along with beets and brussels sprouts.  James cooked tomato soup with all the stuff I got from FM yesterday.  It was working and working.  I also started the weeding and watering of the front with the water barrels.

I also spoke with Brandon about the tax torpedo.  Iris did some investigation and said that I will save several thousands if I put some money in the IRA.  Don't know if I have any money to save as we have PAID Mimi 5000 for her living expenses to NOT abort the Nugget.  She is thinking she has no choice she might not be able to handle motherhood by herself.

Actions speak louder than words.

I biked for 8.77 miles at 1 30 going over to deliver chicken bouillon to Sumi and Terri.  

KR went diving and got SIX LOBSTERS !!!!  Kurt cooked and ate one

Kurt then went to assist Corrina at Torrance Memorial.  Evidently Helen, with grief and too much time in the jacuzzi started to get amnesia and some weird head thing and Corrina took her to the ER  Kurt was there for several hours.

I went to bed at 9

Tuesday Our First Bible Study

 So it was still cold this morning.  I was REALLY COLD   Low 47 and High was actually 73, but I think you only feel this when you are standing in front of the garage about 1 pm

Kurt didn't go to work and said he is ALMOST finished with his work.  Dang that kid

James took Angel for a walk.  

KR had the LAST SCREENING !!!  All day, he did, and even brought a lunch of turkey burger, I MADE !

I went to FM as Kurt went up to Corrina's to drop off some eggs and to have breakfast.  He didn't get home until 11 45 so I went earlier.

We got a lot of tomatoes and I brought some over to mom's compost bins and brought the blinking lights so I can make the Ugly Sweaters !!

KR took a nap and then took Angel out for a walk.  Said she dug a 9 foot hole.  So Angel got a bath tonight too.  

Everyone arrived about 7 and there was: Josh, Anita, Pam, George our leader, Geralynn, Karl S, , Polly, Joy, Walter, me and KR  It turned out well.  I put out cheese and crackers, and some cookies and dips and variety of drinks. 

Monday and just a little bit of screening

 It was 46 cold this morning.  I did Kurt's laundry and he hung it out.  He didn't go to school, says that he has things he did not do and needs to finish.  Dang that kid   James took Angel out for hours and he also bought salad and milk and bananas.  I cooked the turkey and the remaining two pork country ribs that I took out in  the  middle  of the night.  It was still fairly frozen.  I chopped the  pumpkin and used half of it and some of the kale and two tomatoes.  I used mostly soy sauce and other sauces.  

I arrived at Billy Mitchell elementary school and did the preschool kids.  There were only about 16 kids.  We then drove to William  Green elementary school and did another 16 or so.  The third school did not get its act together so we  could not  go there.   I went to the 99 cent store and tried to return the light that didn't work.  The lady said that ONE CANNOT return seasonal stuff.  It is on their website BUT the light didn't work !!  So I got some fuzzy balls for our Ugly Sweater contest

I came home and KR still has not come home.   I went for a ride, about almost 6 miles.  It tried calling him, but went straight to voice mail.  James took Angel to fire road.  I finally  got a  text from KR  about  5  15 saying that they are just leaving the ranch and will be home at 8.  I sent a text to Doug, so glad that they are ok.  Just that  the surf was GOOD today, so they  all stayed and surfed.  He is going to be tired tomorrow.  HAHAHA

Sunday and off to church ETC

 So   the blog is too much of just a  daily account of what has happened without  too much feeling.  I have been reading other people's blogs and they are full of musings from the heart.  One lady is writing about  her looking for a job at 58 and I thought, I don't have to look for a job.   I NEVER had to, after a few years.  When you are a dentist, the only job you can get is being a  dentist.  Sure you can decide if you wanna work for a large corporation, like  DSO or go work for the armed forces but after I got my office, I was my own boss and all was well.  After selling,  I worked with KR and then we sold, and now I work for two offices.

The day started off COLD, and I got Kurt up and to church.  James said he had to  work, which I actually think he didn't want to go sit at church so he took Angel for a walk.  I  brought  some kale and gave them all away.  It was Revelation AGAIN

I went out for a short run to mom's, and then went for a ride to drop off some sweeten condense milk and cat nip too

Kurt slept  the afternoon away.  I cleaned the living  room  closet and put stuff away

Saturday

 So we didnt get out of bed until 6 20 after going to bed about 9 20  There is  so much to do.  I got most o f the stuff out of the cabinet in the bathroom and started condensing and throwing out.  I organized  the  vitamins,  and tried to organize Kurt's bathroom cabinet.  KR and I called each other couple of times but we never got to talk

It is interesting to be home alone, I  have so much to do and it  is ok to spread things out and do it without KR telling me, HEY get this cleaned up  

James left about 8 15 and it was cold all morning

I went to FM ALL BY myself.  We got so much kale, and some beets and a few tomatoes.  I roasted the beets and gave some kale  and beets away.   

James came home at 4 and took Angel for a walk.  I went for a run  Naby dropped off some cilantro and brussel sprouts.   

I run  two  miles at 13 30 pace.  WAY too  slow and yet cannot seem  to get faster.  Those  folks on  Hip Runner  FB seem to be  able to do miles and  miles  and half  marathon and all kinds of races.  Me ,  not so much.

Friday KR leaves for trip

 So we were up early, especially KR as he gets amped with this trip

Phil and Doug were suppose to be here at 7 30 but they didn't come until about 8.  They were so packed in Phil's truck.  KR hardly  had any space in the back seat.  They even brought a generator.  Something  about Phil needing one.  

After they left, I  hung the  laundry out.  James took Angel out for a walk.  It was COLD, like 47 and it got up to 72, but it only felt like that in the sun.  In the shade it was still cold

I went for a ride at 11 50 for 6 miles.  Nothing in the alleys

I also went shopping at Ralphs, got a 14 pound turkey, the largest one I could find.  Some kind of  avian flu had the turkeys smaller and more expensive.  I got some tomatoes for Sarah.  She liked heirloom tomatoes so  I bought her 3.  I also got some cheap for us, a whole bag of them for 99 cents.  

I did a second load of all the floor mats getting ready for next Tuesday.  George Tudor says that we have 11 people coming next Tuesday.  I told him we should have no more than 12.

I also went for a 3 mile run.  My hip did ok, and my knee too

Thursday working and COLD

 Today's high was 68 but  t he low was 46.  There was frost on the  roof.  Wonder again if I should worry about the chickens.

Was up at 6 and got to work. 

One of  Maribel's friend's dad was a patient.  His blood pressure was high high and high.  Started out with 170/110 and after several hours with food and his HBP meds, and some nitrous we got it down to 158/92 and I took out #2.

Man and then in the meantime I had other patients.

I finally got done at 1 15.  Melissa is starting to get me upset.  She does not write up the  notes, she will be cleaning first and I do NOT feel like I should  write the notes

It was Weston Killpack's last day

KR had screening  and then   Valor meeting.   He didn't get home until 4 and James had taken Angel for a walk

Wednesday NO MORE RAIN

 Today's high is only  62, and  cold  of  50 and rain is  gone

ELECTION  RESULT:  Of course Newsom  is  governor 

KR went to screening and I was cleaning the coop and cooking pork country style  ribs.  James went walking Angel  Kurt had school

I  ran  two miles at noon  about  12  min  mile,  not  bad.  Then I  had  to  walk, and it was 14.30 the last mile  DANG  I just can't get any faster.  My right knee and my hip is still sore

KR went to El Super after screening and  made his curry for his trip

My back is still bothering  me a bit, my upper back.  I started doing crunches Monday and  have done 500 a day

Mimi is pregnant and thinking  about aborting even  though   she  is 3 months along because she  and Jay  cannot come to consensus about their future.  

Went to bed by 8  40

Screening at FDR in Lawndale with KR

 We were EARLY  as usual, at screening.  The nurse didn't come so we had a substitute nurse.  There were MANY kids and some had these BOMBERS on the PERM first molars.  SO SO SAD.  There were several that had spacers that  needed to be removed LAST MONTH

We were done at 11 50 and KR dropped me  off and went to  lunch with Asemi Arias.  I had a long  chat with Darlene and by the time I went out there to run, the  rain started and it was pouring BUCKETS  So I didn't run  much.

KR  and James went out to the golf course and got caught in the deluge and was soaked to the bone.  Kurt came home and then went to vote an d locked his key in the car and I brought the other one

We had steak I cooked on the grill and salad.  James had bell pepper and beans. I went to bed early

Monday

 So  KR had  screening and I was home with James.  Andrea and Maribel came to clean and James took Angel for a walk  Kurt had school and I went to the New Horizon gym for a little workout.  First it was only a mile run.  Very slow but felt very fast and sweaty at 12 min mile.  Then it was weights and I did at least 30 min worth.

Came home and KR was done by 11 45 It had rained a little over night so I didn't ride

In the afternoon when they were napping I went for a five mile ride.  Didn't get anything.

I went to Ralphs and got a lot of meat.  There was burger patties for sale and I cooked some on the BBQ and the bacon too.  KR had a burger.

I had  made Kurt a turkey sandwich and he ate it at school

I was in bed by 8 15 

SPRING FORWARD and FALL BACK

 TODAY IS FALL BACK  SUNDAY 

So day light savings started last night.  We had an EXTRA hour.  Kurt went to COTB and James had to work so I left Angel with James.  It was Dan Parkins and  he had a good lesson.   Lamentations.  

I came home and was going to make pesto noodles but instead I  brought chip and dip.  I brought some food home, goat cheese chicken, that I didn't like.  I cannot do goat cheese.  KR said that the chicken breast was too dry.  James ate one.  The sausage soup with kale was very good too.

They all took a nap and I tried to take care of more paperwork.

I did the donations to the churches - BOH, ARMED, and ACTION

KR walked Angel with James.  I tried to clean before Andrea and Maribel who are coming  tomorrow

Saturday

 Cold  getting up.   The  down comforter is great.  The w hole  house is like cold cold and cold now

KR went to beach to walk Angel.  James had call work and I paid over 20 000 dollars of bills.  OOH WOW

I also went running for 3 miles.  ALMOST 14 min mile

Made Kurt a turkey sandwich and took it over to him.  First time seeing the  shop.  VERY bright  lights and he was sweeping the floor.  There is a lot of supply in that shop.  AND HE IS THE  ONLY MAN THERE !!!!

KR didn't come home on time so James and I went to the FM and got a LOT of bell peppers.  I gave some to Naby and Sarah said she is not cooking much so nothing for her.  I went for a bike ride and didn't see anything worth getting.  Just a couple of mason jars.  

We went walking Angel at Fire Road.  The World Series started and KR watched it.  James went out to Rancho Cucamonga for a meeting with some Chinese folks.  

Friday

 Kurt didn't come home until late and  Angel came to bed late too  as she was with him at Corrina's.  

KR had screening and Kurt had work.  His watch he says had the wrong  time so he was almost late to work.  I went to Red Cross early to give blood as I made appt for 8 30 but James left and everyone was gone so  I tried to go early but they  said no. So I  made  an appt for this afternoon at 2 30

I did two  loads  of laundry and it is going to be a sunny day  I washed James' sheets too as i t had been  at least two weeks.  

KR had forgotten his lunch so I  drove up to Jane Addams middle and delivered   On the way home I stopped at Ralphs and bought milk AS NO ONE ELSE DID IT.  I wish the people that drink milk would just buy milk

I guess that is just KR and Kurt

James came home  at almost 3 and I  went to give blood.  They  were almost not going to take me as I was late.   But they did take me and it was easy and this lady was good.  Minimal bruising.    I  got home and James  and KR had taken Angel out

I  went for a run of 2 miles  at  11 18  min mile.  Slow still

KR and I had dinner with Roger Catalan   at Black Bear Diner.  WE ACTUALLY fought for the check and he won.  I can't believe it.  We had VERY good prime rib and he had tuna salad sandwich.  No mayo no butter no cheese.  NO FUN

My back  has a weird spasm on the right side mid back  Don't know what is the problem is 

WORKING Thursday and dinner with Crookstons

 I set the alarm but didn't ring but I was still up by 6 06  Got to office on time.  Kind of slow to start  and then fast and furious.  Got done at 1 15  Came home to shrimp burrito  KR had screening and was done by 12 30

Dr Weston has  some problems with cleaning.  

KR took Angel to the post office and gave her a bath.  James had  too work

We went out to La Pamilla in Hermosa Pier   It was great food and company but it  was too  noisy, and loud

Wednesday Office Meeting AND work

 So I went running  right  after KR took  off for screening.

Only two miles and very slow.  I can't seem to run ANY FASTER

I left for office meeting.  Was a little late

We had a nice meeting.  Talked about a whole lot of stuff

I went directly to Costco and spent OVER 150 bucks.   Bought all kinds of stuff and some for our Bible Study  meeting  next  week

Then I  came home and had a quick bite to eat and went to work.  Mary was first and did the exam.  I should have taken some x rays.  Then Maggie was suppose to come and she was exposed to COVID so I told her to stay  home and test.  She tested negative, so I  will have to wait to see her

Then I saw Rocky Liuggi.  What a mess of a mouth, just a lot of buildup and I will have to do the crown later when the bleeding stops a bit

Was home by 4 and James made pumpkin  with carrots and ribs.  It was amazingly good

Kurt had school and went  to sleep when he came home

KR was done with screening by 11 30

I picked up  another pumpkin from Yuli off of Elm.  We will be cooking them soon

First day of SCREENING Lawndale

 I had some long  convoluted dream last night  about  speaking  in front of a lot  of people and looking  for a group and  jumping from a 8  ft tall something to a ledge that  was sheer on one  side but  i did it.  Truly the dream that I want to try to re dream.  HAHA

We had screening and I didn't get up until 7 20.  We were at Will Rodgers Middle and we did over 700 kids.  My feet were tired and my voice

We went to La Bamba for lunch.  It was GREAT food.  

Went back to the office and it was SLOW they say.  

Got done at 3 and James went to chiro.  Kurt worked 9 - 4

KR went to walk Angel

I made reservation to visit mom   JANUARY 19 - February 3

Monday HALLOWEEN 2022

 HALLOWEEN

So we were  ready

We got the torches out and  put  fuel in them.   Candy  bowl was ready.  KR went surfing and  said it was good.    Kurt  had school and said he  had an overdue  essay  I went bike  riding all around and didn't find  anything

Michelle came over for trick or treat.  We didn't get anyone until 6 30.  We walked down to Juniper and there was a LOT of kids and adults and parents there.  Kevin put up his maze and was drinking beer with Bob.

Corrina the Pikachu came over and went walking with  Kurt.  She stayed to help him with his essay.

He was still up at 1 AM  !!!!

Sunday

 KR left early for surf and said it was fun but cold

I biked 4.8  miles.  SLOW

We put Angel in the crate and went to church.  She barked a bit and finally settled down.  We picked up Michelle Lien and it was on Revelation.  Kurt of course is in Las Vegas

We had left over lunch, mostly beet soup from Sarah and I  cooked  a lot  of spinach  and kale.   

KR had  a  nap and went to pick up Kurt.  James walked the dog.  I cleaned the outside where the BBQ is and James is suppose to finish

Saturday

 So KR and James go walk the dog and I do laundry.  Kurt's blanket.  Cleaned the floor in his room and removed the chair and did a general clean up and got a whole bunch of sheets and towels ready for donation.  We have too much stuff and I think when the kids move out they would need it but we still have too much stuff.

James goes for some kind of appointment and stops at Trader Joe's and bought cheese and other stuff, AND GOT ANOTHER BAG.  I do NOT know why he cannot remember to bring his own reusable bag.  I told him to put the one he got today IN THE CAR so HE CAN remember

KR and I went to FM and got a LOT of kale and spinach and I cooked a lot and they ate the whole pot and I am cooking again

They went to walk Angel at Fire Road.  She really scratched up her tummy yesterday.  We moved the crate up and she is starting to sleep in it, so maybe we can crate her tomorrow

They had  left over  and I went to bed early at 8 40

Two Patients Friday

 KR and James walked Angel.  NO SURF  I guess

I did laundry, washed the mattress protector

I had two patients, Guillermo and Rebekah

Came home and ate and ran to the bank and took out 600 dollars from mom's account

We walked Angel at Fire Road and then to dinner at Rosa's on Hawthorne, just past PCH.  VERY good, pozole not as good as the lady I bought from Market Place

Kurt was doing homework and then packing for his one night trip.  HE WANTS A BIGGER SUITCASE for the kitchen sink.

Thursday WORKING

 Got to office by 6 45  finished  by 12  35

It was not too  busy and the  crown came in late and we had to wait

Went to El Super and bought a lot of food

KR and James manning the fort.  Kurt worked from 9 00 - 4 or 3 or something like that

Wednesday

 ANOTHER  nice day

It was cold last night and I closed the bathroom windows.  KR went surfing and I rode to Vons   to pick  up  my rx.  I am going to find the card for 50 dollars gift card for five rx at Von's.  Today was either second and third or third and fourth  rx.  I also picked up KR's rx.  I dropped off Celina's gift at Beach Cities Ortho.  

I came home and dropped off the rx and went to Walmart to return my swim suits that came too late for our Hawaiian  trip.  James went  to Korean market and  bought 100 bucks of oxtail and short ribs  and cooked away.  VERY DELICIOUS

I also ran about 2.5 miles at 12 min  per mile.   VERY SLOW  I went back to the alley where I saw a yoga mat but by the time I biked back it was GONE  !!!  DANG

KR and James walked Angel while I stayed  home

The oxtail was delicious and they all had it for dinner

Kurt says he is stressed about school.  

HE  JUST BETTER BE FINISHED  in May 2023  That is all I can say

Tuesday

 So I  still cannot get up, although  I   had  a much better sleep

KR and James went to POST office to walk Angel.  I stayed  home.  Camila called and had an emergency patient.  She thinks maybe dry socket, but it turns out ok, nothing really.  I think the kid is biting on the nylon suture.  I don't like them for that reason.  THEY DO NOT lay down flat.  I reassured the mom and they went on their way.  I also saw Claudia and delivered her night guard.  She went to the lab to pick it up.  I didn't want to drive over there.  KR also picked up a computer from Dolly  for Nathan the foster kid, and we had one here for his brother.  

Kurt overslept for  work.  Said his phone was not  plugged in.  Was  suppose to work 9 - 3  He also bought  two subway sandwiches as the coupon was  expired and he could not say I  DON"T WANT TWO SANDWICHES

He  is so lame sometimes

James went somewhere.  KR and  I went to FM  to pick up food.  LOTS of peppers and other kinds of peppers.  Got a lot of clothes  from Charity and I  like a  lot of them.  Naby came by to pick up some peppers and  she tried  on some of the clothes and took a bunch  home.  Lots of nice leggings.

I cooked a lot of the peppers and blended some peppers for salsa   KR went to Turner's Gun Shop and put  the money down for a hand gun  FIVE HUNDRED BIG ONES  He had a very large taco salad when he got back and is now down to 172 pounds

SKINNY

Me too, down to 106.9  HAHAHA

I cleaned all the cords  from gadgets, listened to two  webinars

Monday

 I felt so tired today after last night's restless sleep.  Even though the watch says I slept ok.  I didn't get up until 6 48.  KR went surfing and I did laundry  I asked James to hang them out and to sweep the dirt off the back by the compost bin.  Someone had dumped a whole bucket of dirt, and James and Kurt says they don't know who.  Kind of weird

Andrea and Maribel came and I went out to first get the grubs from Flora and then to Walmart to return the charger.  I found so many at home.  I also went to Marshall's to look for a purse.  NONE to be had that I liked.  Oh well.  James went out for an appt somewhere

He paid the cleaners and they left at 1 pm

KR had two burgers and salad and took a nap.  I tried taking a nap and James was loud on the phone.

We had a FAMILY MEETING tonight

I listed;

Keep kitchen clean, no left over spoons, sink clean, cat food cans rinsed out

Sweep the back patio

Pick up fruit

When we leave, and ask them to  keep a watch at mom's condo, GO DO IT

NO trash in the can without a bag.  I had to scrub the grease off the  bottom of the can.

It went ok. 

James and KR  had salad for dinner.  

I am still not  feeling too well.  My head is fuzzy and my tummy is tender

Thursday through Sunday

 Seems like if I don't post regularly,  the day gets away from me

So working  on Thursday was a fuzzy.  My brain did not  want to go to work.   I did  get there at 6 45 and it was suppose to be a very busy schedule.  My three 7 am patients did NOT show up and then it fell apart for another hour, but then got REALLY busy and I did  not get out of there until 1 21 PM !!!!

I stopped at El Super and bought 7 avocados.   KR  had gone to Costco to get some food like bird  seeds and  salad and stuff.  He spent some of mom's EBT money.  Seems like Kurt and  James don't buy  any  food just eat what is around

WE  NEED A FAMILY MEETING  I don't  like to  have to  tell them what to do  and the  dishes  in the sink and  other  stuff,  like  a  dirty   stove.  That really  drives   me mad

We went out to dinner with  Francis, Tony and Joanne, Gooch, Carole and Mike, and two of the  two Goochs kids, Paula  and Peter  came too.  Angel got to sit with us on the patio

I did go for a ride,  short and we walked Angel  at the Fire Road

FRIDAY

No work.  I did  the  sheets.  THEY WERE dirty !!!  I did run 2.5 miles at 10  35  pace.  Picking up.  Then I rode up  and down alleys, got an empty kitty litter can.  KR cooked the brisket and Royale also  dropped off some meat.

I picked up some rabbit stuff for Corrina at 7 pm by the Kings Hawaiian.  She must be so so sad without her dad.  

SATURDAY 

KR walked Angel.  We drove to Kevin Rehm's  memorial.  James stayed with Angel.  It was at the  El Segundo Fire Station and then at the Proud Bird for a chicken meal lunch.  All was very good.  

Came home and I tested COVID again, still negative.   I d  on't feel very good.  Just kind of weird head not feeling good kind of feeling.  I sneezed a lot this morning, but the the tests keeps coming back negative.

I also went to mom's to clean and get  the condo  ready for  Michelle Lien, Lovely's friend that is staying at the condo for a few days

Kurt went up to Corrina's and stayed from like 7 pm to 4  am.

SUNDAY

KR went surfing and we all went to church, EXCEPT James, who went out to Carson to  meet some Taiwanese lady who  is going  to sell some of Bill's stuff  THEN his car won't start, so a girl drove us  home and we got the  jumper cables and Kurt went back and jumped the car and then KR went to Costco and bought  a new battery and  installed  it.  I went over to mom's and sat  outside for about half hour and then vacuumed again.  I also bought Michelle some apples and bananas and blueberries.  

James got back at 4 and KR had already left to walk Angel.  I went to Ralphs and bought some burger patties and pulled pork for sandwiches and salad.  Food is really getting expensive

Our Hawaiian Trip Friday 10/14 to Wednesday 10/19/2022

 We had a grand time in  Hawaii

Friday morning, Kurt  drove us to Long Beach airport for our 7 30 flight.  He didn't wanna get up but we left by 5 30.   It was so easy to  check in there.  We tried a few sudoku and got on the  plane.  We had packed some snacks, and KR had the bacon LT sandwich,  and  I ate a little of   the cheese sandwich and saved the rest.

I even watched TWO movies.  Bourne Identity and Scent of a Woman.  Both were very good

We landed and it was HOT 85 and got the  rental car Dollar Rental  We started towards North Shore and passed Dole Pineapple   There  was still a lot of tourists.   Schofield Barracks was  next.  There was a lot o f  construction between Haleiwa and  Laie.  We had some poke at Foodland.  Oh I also  bought a charging cord from Walmart as I could  not  get my apple charger to work in the  car.  We made it to Adam's  and  he  brought us to his next door neighbor, Lisa Lai's  house.  Adam  has  this  cement box that   is   still  not finished.  Aatalia,   his  wife has   some mental illness and i s not functioning well.   The floor of the  upstairs bedroom is covered in  animal skin, like a bunch  of  cow hide, and she was watching  video  on the bed.  He said she started having schizoid type of symptoms a few years ago,  and was on meds off and  on.  We went to Lisa's second  bedroom upstairs.   The house is very interesting, weird weird contours and shapes and rooms.  She is retired from selling packaging I think.  Their company sold stuff to Walmart in the 80's for packaging.  Anyway,  it had a great ocean view and but was HOT

We had  dinner, very yummy, at Pounders, which was right next to the Polynesian Cultural Center.  

The next morning, Saturday, we had some coffee at the Bistro which was  inside  the Marriott

We packed up and could  not raise Adam so we left for Kaneohe

We texted  Mac and we went hiking

WHAT A HIKE

Oolamana  Hike in  Kaneohe was  just  amazing.  We slathered up the bug repellent juice and started.  It was a tough hike with rope climbs.   We only went up the FIRST PEAK.  That was enough.  Kathy picked us up just outside the golf course.   I was so  so  tired

We had a  yummy dinner and went upstairs to her rented house and slept well

Sunday Kathy cooked us  breakkie, baked egg  something  and coffee and  we were off to Waikiki

We stopped at Queen's Beach for a swim and  then  checked into Hilton Hawaiian  Resort, the Grand Islander Tower   What a room.  2205  One bedroom, ocean view and full kitchen, Bosch frig, and GE dishwasher and oven/stove and microwave  We found the free parking  behind the  lagoon,  and the dollar an hour parking just next to the marina  We went to Safeway and had poke and salad for dinner

Monday morning was YOGA  HAHAHAHA   We climbed Diamond Head, then went to Makapuu Light  house.  Then we went back  to snorkeling and I  FOUND A GOPro  

Monday  we tried  snorkeling right in the front but was murky.  We went back to Queens'  We had left over dinner and KR got mad at me and had a large beer

Tuesday we walked all the way back to Queens and as we didn't bring enough money, only a 20, we had one lunch before we walked back home.  We went downstairs to watch the sunset off of the jetty and it was beautiful. Then it was search for dinner.  We finally ended up at  Ala Moana food court where I  had the most amazing food  at food court - PRIME RIB yup

Wednesday it was yoga on the grass at 6 30.  We took a easy and drove to Leonards Malasada but there was no butter mochi, but we bought some malasada and drove to see Chinatown.  We missed it and ended up at Liliha Bakery, oh wow, what a bakery

The flight home was delayed about half hour.  James picked us up with Angel as Kurt was working

Working Thursday

 It was such a crazy day today

I looked at the schedule and it was  NOTHING, to  sneeze at, but was I wrong

I had checkups,  SSC, cleaning, thank goodness NO nitrous.  Weston Killpack is not very good at cleaning.  The tissue looks mangled on the lower anterior.  I didn't tell  him that but I did say that he was missing a lot of the lower  bi areas and I showed him

I got done  at 1 15 and came straight home.  I asked Kurt  to vacuum the garage before I parked the car and then bring the  trash cans in and he got all mad.  He said  he is paying  rent  what more does he want?  RIGHT  $550  a month?   Room  and  BOARD?   You gotta  be kidding me

James and KR  went  to walk  Angel.   I stayed and  cleaned.   Kurt  says  he  has a  trial working interview  this  Saturday

Kurt went to work

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to us 37 years and counting Tuesday 10/11/2022

 We are married for 37 years.  

KR and James went up to  to the  fire road to  look  for the collar.  James had left it there yesterday when  he went chasing Angel.  

James went to  Palm Springs !!!  For the evening and will be back tomorrow

KR and I went to FM and got lots of nice broccoli and bell peppers I gave some away to Naby and some to  Sarah

We walked Angel at Fire  Road

We went to Lazy Dog for dinner.  Flat Iron steak for KR and Chicken cordon Bleu for  moi with shrimp for appetizer  The food  was very good and I brought home one of the  chicken  patties, and the rice and one shrimp.  Telling  Kurt  that he can only have the shrimp and the rice.

Wednesday 10/12/2022

We went down to the beach.  It  RAINED  last night and a little this morning.  Just enough too dampen a  little   I  cooked the steaks and broccoli  and KR had lunch before his meeting at Valor with an ex-parent. 

She didn't  even show up

I biked 5.88 miles around the neighborhood.  

Kurt was at  school all day

The weather is  cooler, rained  another minute about 10 am

I also ran around 2 miles,  very slow

I also bought a eye brow pencil with the three dollar off at CVS it was still about FOUR dollars   Also  bought some apples from   Korean store

James came home and took a nap and went to walk Angel with KR

 

Monday 10-10 day HAPPY National Day Taiwan

 I was  dreaming  about  something.   James took  Angel to the Fire Trail and KR went up  looking  for  them after  checking the surf, but they never saw each other.  KR also  went up to the Bay and took pictures of his old houses.

I  went for  a ride at  9 40 for a bout 6.5 miles

Andrea came and  I  changed the sheets and did laundry.  James went to Arcadia or somewhere.  I went to mom's to clean  and  brought  the Roomba to clean the floors.  Charity  also came over and dropped off some grass seeds and stuff.  

Kurt has school

James finished  the  radish soup  and KR  finishedt he pozole soup and had a  salad too

While doing the sudoku, I got eaten alive, and took  a benedryl  and went to bed scratching

Sunday

 KR  and James walk Angel.  I do mostly Kurt's laundry.  He  goes to  COTB and KR goes to Host and James goes  to work and I take Angel to church.  I went over  to mom's and did a 1.13  mile run, slow

I went for a ride. Totaling 11.5 miles  Went too Kiera's to drop off some  basil and Vitamin C, and then to walmart   for watch band.  I got a good stainless steel and it is a little long but still can be used.

They all took a  nap

Kurt had school

We went up to Fire Road  and had a nice walk.

Weather is changing a bit  cooler especially morning  and evening  

They  all had  left  over.  I  cooked some frozen  fish  in  the  Air Fryer

I went  to bed at 9 40   KR went diving and got SKUNKED again !!!

Saturday

 I  bike for 7 miles at 8 am while James and KR  walk  Angel and I do laundry.

I bike again for 2 miles at 2 miles

I  bike  AGAIN at 1.7 miles at 4 pm

KR  and Kurt go to  FM and  got a LOT OF BASIL  I make six cups of pesto.  It was so so much work.  KR goes to Costco to get food, spent over 200 big ones and next week I still need  to get chicken food  before our Hawaii trip

Couple of  people come and get basil.  

We also got carrots

We watch Is Genesis  History, a DVD

It was BONK

I also have a stomach ache.  Most likely too much pesto.  I fart like CRAZY in bed

ONE patient Friday Bob Pagan

 James and KR went walking and I did laundry.  Changed James' sheets and washed all the towels.  Went for a 7.12 mile ride at 9 40 and got a couple of halloween tubs to give away.  

Spent a bit of time patching the sheets  that Kurt burnt up Took forever.

James went to Gardena for something and KR went for a short surf.  

Kurt went spear fishing and came home with smelt and corbina and maybe a kept fish and something else.  He had a good time.  Glad he is getting out.

Tonight is Kevin Rehm's visitation.  Wonder how Corrina is doing

Seems like maybe Kurt is on the outs with her again.  NO idea

Went to work at 3 to seat Bob Pagan's crown.  It was too long and I slightly adjusted the distal where the lab overshot the margin.   The x rays turned out beautiful  PHEW

I cooked the fish  on the BBQ and Kurt ate some, KR only ate a bite and we gave one fish to Sarah and KR also brought over the mulberry tree that Royale's friend wanted

I also spoke with mom for 25 min.  Yenny is at the house

Working Thursday

 So we were up at around 2 or at least I was.  I smelled something and woke me.   Angel pooped in the bathroom.  At least it was NOT  on the carpet.  KR cleaned it up.   We went back  to sleep.   I was  up for work and got there on time.

Monica had called me about the new ex tern and I was on the watch for Weston Killshot.  What a name.  He did fine.  Wrote everything he was suppose to

We were done at 12 15 and I went to El Super and spent 57 dollars for a lot of meat

I got home and found out KR had eaten most of the lengua.  HAHAHAHAHAHA  He didn't know it was tongue and thought it was really good

I went for a ride and then cooked a lot of chicken on the bbq

James went to visit friends

I went for a run/walk.  And for mostly walking  fast, it was 14 min mile average.  NOT bad

We went to bible study

Wednesday 10/5/2022

 James and KR went to the park with Angel because we have CPR at 9 am.  We went to the same lady house off of Ritner, just behind Numero Uno.  We  were done about noon and went to buy meat and avocados.,  They were not that great. 

Came home and James went to his chiro appt.  Kurt had school all day

I went for a ride when KR went napping.  Rode 7.4 miles and got a bag of recycling for NH  NOTHING else out there

Oh the shampoo thingy I got yesterday works and I cleaned the condo carpet a bit

Too much work on your knees

I didn't get enough steps in.

I also cooked lengua and then ribs and pork chops and cheeseburgers   James had a large bowl of his soup, too much grease/butter.  I wish it was just tomatoes but nope

Tuesday

 So I did a load of laundry while KR went to drop off a lot of stuff at Via Lado for Steven and walking the pup with James.  I also clean and clean.  When they came back I went running,  TWO miles very slow  13 min mile

I went to see  Chris Bruno at 11 15 and James went for a hair cut and KR  went to FM got A LOT of tomatoes and I gave them almost all away.

KR tried to go diving but no go

Some girl committed suicide over the cliff by driving her car off

Monday

 James and KR go walk Angel.  I bike 7.37 miles to pick up toothpaste.  I don't  understand why  people will not use toothpaste they don't like.  I use all the fluoride ones no matter what brand.

BUT I am getting more picky about my coffee.  I won't drink bad coffee

I  also went to mom's  to turn the compost and clean and water.  Michelle Lin or something like that is coming end of the month to stay at mom's

I also ran 3 miles in the afternoon.  At average 11 41 pace  NOT too bad   Considering it has been hard to run with my hip lately

KR went diving.  DIDN"T GET A SINGLE LOBSTER

I went to bed early so didn't see, but he said it was kelp city and murk and nothing to be had

FIRST time to be skunked for a long time

Last year we had so many lobsters.  I remember Violet making it for Yeye

Sunday

 First Sunday already in October.  I figure out how to get the screen windows to stay open and the weather changes.  A bit cooler during the  day and night too.  We can stay under the covers now, instead of panting on top of the sheet and the dog even moving to the floor

We all went down to the beach for a walk  YUP  ME AND KR AND JAMES AND KURT 

Even Kurt came down as he wanted to go to COTB, so we all walked and we came home and he stayed.  

It was NOT Revelation

I had a pound cake for the church meal and we had a great burgers with dogs and salads and desserts.,  We sat with Joy and Walter

James stayed home and cooked vege, tomatoes and zuks and some brussels sprouts.  We brought a DOUBLE double for Kurt

PLUS lots of  desserts

They took a nap and I went for a slow jog 2 37 miles  at 16 30 pace.  VERY SLOW

I can barely go faster  My hip hurts a little

They had dinner and I tried to book Hilton Grand but was unsuccessful.  Sarah might have to call them tomorrow

Saturday OCTOBER 1, 2022

 So I could not get up this morning.  EXCEPT I  heard James' loud  phone voice.  We  need to tell him to go to his room or outside.  KR took Angel for a walk.  James was working the Asian market and I started the laundry

I only had maybe 7 hours of sleep.  Watch says I went to bed at 11 57 but I went to bed at 9 31 so the sleep was interrupted by my going to the bathroom.

I went biking at 10 15 for 6 miles.  KR and Kurt went to FM and got a lot of zuks and tomatoes and some corn for the chickens.  I cooked a lot of bacon with zuks on the que and the guys ate a lot of it.  James went somewhere and LOCKED THE KEYS to the car inside so I sent him my AAA card and he called for someone to unlock the door

KR took Angel to the afternoon walk while I went running but my hip started hurting and I had to  walk.   3.28 mile with the first mile at 17 and then 15  and then 16, ery slow

Kurt is drinking too much and had a test today

Friday

 I could not get up this morning.  Had some weird dream.  Don't remember what it was about.  KR went surfing and i had more moskie bites, and while sitting at the dining room table I got a bite on the top of my thigh that was bigger than a few inches in diameter.  

I walked/ran to Walmart to buy lavender essential oil, which they had.  Walgreen did not, Kurt was working 8 - 12.   Three miles at about 15 min mile.  VERY SLOW  

I also biked 6 miles at 11 30.  I cooked two whole flats of  bacon,  very good.  KR  had a BLT and made   one for Kurt too.

I went to work at 1 seeing Rebekah  first.   She had some BIG cavities.  We  did  29 and 28.  PC on 29.  Hope it does not blow up.

Then it was Chelsea with a crown starting to crack, and then Mrs Mary Ashley and then Jesse Crawford

I was done at 4 45

KR was watching some sermon.   

James went to Mexican and I had the left over and KR did too.  IT WAS FABULOUS

Working Thursday

 So I w as up  at 5 30 and set the alarm for 6 and it  seems like just a minute later the alarm went.   So glad I set the alarm

Got to  work  and met the new extern, Weston Killshot, what  a name  

Got off at noon and went to El Super.  Looked in my purse and  no wallet to be  found.  Called James  and he says the wallet was in the VAN  ALL NIGHT  !!! !   ME BAD

So I  didn't shop at El  Super.  KR made the steaks and James bought bratwurst and I went for a ride.  I ate a chicken leg

I saw Maribel's grandma.  Took me almost an hour to get the denture to seat and be comfortable

I went walking with James and KR up fire Trail.

Dinner was left over plus the pastry Grandma got me

Also saw the Miles three boys Cameron, Clay and Cole.

Got FREE ROOM Hilton Hawaiian Village from Sarah for three or four days for our Hawaiian trip next month.

Easy Wednesday

 Corrina  and mom and brother flew out this morning

Kurt went to school and said he was a little lateI went got s 6 mile ride at 8 when KR and James went walking Angel

James went somewhere, Alhambra?  KR went surfing/swimming

I cooked chicken legs

I went for  another ride for 4.85 miles at 1  IT WAS HOT  

Then I went for a 3.26 mile run, about 14 min per mile very  slow

KR got In N Out burgers for  them.  I just had a bite

Tuesday

 It is also HOT today, 82 but feels like more.  

KR went surfing, James walked Angel and I went for a 5K run, at almost 13 min mile, but no pain, still so slow

KR and Kurt went to the FM and GOT SOME MUCH ROMAINE

I went to Jeff Yamane and got some fish.  I seasoned some  and cooked it on the BBQ and it was delicious

THEN KURT SAID CORRINA'S dad passed away.  He drove up there.  He said something about a plane accident.  OH MAN

Natasha would have been 64 today

I spoke with Ian and hope to see him  and Pete over Thanksgiving.  He is working for an airplane company in Vacaville.  

Kurt said that Corrina and family, mom  and brother are going to Nebraska tomorrow morning.  Oh how sad

Monday

 KR and I went down to the beach to walk Angel.  James was  on some conference call and he had to  go somewhere in the SG valley.  Kurt had school and said he finished some or most or all of the work.  Larry called and said the conversation with Will turned kind of ugly with Will saying that he didn't NEED to go to church, but hey, an agreement is an agreement and he wants to live here better get it with the program

KR puttered around and it was HOT like 82   I went for a ride at 11 40 for 6 miles.  Nothing to be had in the alley

I  had an appt with Chris Bruno.  Always good.  I think I will quit PT

Then at 4 30 I   went for 2 miles run, 13.46 per mile.  SO SO SLOW.  KR had zoom meeting with Valor about some woman complaining about her daughter being bullied

Everyone had left over and KR went to bed early.   Me at 10 pm

SUNDAY and a long chat with Larry and Christina

 Well, I guess Will is up to his old trick.  He did not wanna   go to church.  So he went with Diamond and stayed in the car

WHHHAAAATTTTT?

KR and James went down to the beach and I went for a 4 + mile ride at 7 30  KR  had  host and said he spoke with Daniel on the points we talked about  with  Sharon and Warren

I went to pick up cereal and fruit cups.  A WHOLE BOX OF FRUIT CUPS, very delicious

Kurt said BunBun had worms, and he had a picture of the poop with worms so he went to Centinela and bought some Droncit and with his help, I gave BunBun a 23 mg tab.  

I went down the alleys, nothing to be had

I went to see Debbie and got a whole bunch of Tupperware and dropped a bunch off at Sarah's

They went to Fire Road and I went to the gym for a half hour  of weighs then had a 30 min talk with Christina

They are gonna tell Will either go to church or move out

Dang right

I made more ribs, but not beef, just kalbi and I boiled a few cucumbers  HAHAHA

Saturday

 KR got up early and went to walk Angel  with James.   I did laundry, and cleaned the house.  I went running at 8 am and made 12 55 per mile.  My hip did pretty well, and my knee too  

Kurt went to work.  8 - 4 with lunch  We went to the FM and got a lot of zuks and some basil, but I didn't feel like cleaning the basil.  James cleaned a lot of vege and cooked them.  

We went to lunch at Sharon and Warren.  They told us why they are quitting the Home Group and also the WHOLE CHURCH because of the teachings of Daniel.  We had great pizza and salad.  They are kind of different folks.  It is a tri-level and lots of toys for the kids

KR took a nap and I went for a ride. Actually TWO rides

I also went to mom's to add some compost and water the yard

I cooked some beef ribs 

AND got 8 hours and 33  min of sleep, according to the  watch

Our Sacramento Road Trip Monday 9/19 - 9/23/2022

 So It is Friday night and we are back from our trip

MONDAY  We leave about 9 30 and still has traffic.  The drive was nice, and when we got to Lompoc where we were staying at =Hilton Garden Inn Lompoc, it was pretty wet.   Looks like has been raining for a bit.  What a change of weather.  We stopped at Dare 2 Dream chicken farm and they changed how you get chickens.  I just wanted to see the chickens but they do  not allow viewing, just ordering online.

We checked into the  hotel and got Angel down to the beach for a run.  We had lunch at the parking lot and we had ChickFilA sandwich and some sushi   For dinner we went to Ada's seafood.  VERY GOOD

TUESDAY we were up and on to Monterey.  We stayed with Hugh Wilson.  We ate at this VERY expensive Mexican.  NOT TOO GOOD.  Well, very good but the food is too frau frau and not enough food.  His house is kind of messy and the room cold.  I didn't even get up for the bathroom as Angel squeezed in so tight we were not able to move. 

WEDNESDAY  After some coffee and a run on the beach in Carmel, we drove to Sacramento.  It was still cool but the sun finally came out.  We saw the capitol and check into Hampton Inn Sacramento/Cal Expo   We had gone to Old Sacramento first and walked around and  had lunch.  We also drove by Sutter Fort but it was closing so we didn't go in  KR HAD DIARRHEA ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT  Must be from the OYSTERS in Monterey

THURSDAY  We were up and drove over the hills to Bishop.  We were staying there so tomorrow we can go to the hot spring.  It was a long drive.  We listened to C J Box book.  Very good  We stayed at Super 8  WHAT A DUMP of a hotel  Got woken up at midnight by someone banging on the wall

FRIDAY  We got up and drove to Independence and bought some pastry and promptly missed the turn off to the HOT SPRING  So we went to Hansen Dam and KR had a swim, even though you are not suppose to and we got home by 3 30  KURT WAS ASLEEP for FOUR HOURS

I cooked pork chops and KR had dinner and  went to bed by  8

I did a lot of other paperwork and wasi n bed by 9 30
